The Pro-Life Warriors That Need to Be Honored Today

"Now, I would be remiss if I did not mention two, now passed away legend and heroes. That are largely responsible that helped us get where we are today. And that is justice Antonin Scalia and the great Rush Limbaugh. Rush Limbaugh was a pro life warrior. He would be so happy right now. He brought so many people into the pro life movement. Rush Limbaugh, for years, was one of the most articulate and courageous. And intense pro life leaders, unapologetically so. Rush Limbaugh was pro life before the pro life movement had the funding or the infrastructure or the kind of grassroots support. And rush would never lay off of that topic. Rush was on top of it for 30 years in the excellence in broadcasting. I remember time and time again when I was a senior in high school and I would be listening on local Chicago radio, rush would be going on and on and on about some pro life story about how Planned Parenthood was doing something illegal. And another person that I do want to mention that deserves a lot of credit as well is Billy Graham. Billy Graham, he would just be so ecstatic right now. Scalia, rush, Billy Graham. Billy Graham, who spoke moral clarity into our times. Billy Graham, who was, in my opinion, the most successful evangelist in the 20th century. Who at any pastor you turn to, they have nothing bad to say about Billy Graham. Verse by verse chapter by chapter, he preached the inner sea of scripture, but he was very clear about the moral truths of our country. Or that under undergird our country. And then finally, Trump brought all of this movement to fruition. And yes, I begrudgingly and reluctantly. Have to say, Mitch McConnell deserves credit for not putting Merrick Garland on the U.S. Supreme

Morgan Zegers and Tennessee's Robby Starbuck Discuss the 2022 Midterms

"And thankful to be guest hosting. Doctor gorka show again. That's right. You got a 25 year old taken over the show today. And we're going to try and include a lot of really fun guests. I have a great lineup for you of a lot of people from a lot of different backgrounds and to start off the show on a strong, strong way. I've got Robbie starbuck with us. Can we bring Robbie right in and let's get started? I'm here. All right, Robbie, thank you so much. I appreciate it. I know you're a busy guy. Can you explain why you're such a busy guy? What are you up to these days? Yes, I mean, as many of doctors, viewers know he's having a lot for my race running for Congress. And the Tennessee Republican Party is actually removed me from the ballot. This last week. So, you know, we're in a battle now to get back on the ballot, essentially they removed myself, Morgan Ortega, and one other candidate is off the ballot. Morgan and I were sort of more in a similar boat because we had all the Republican vouching and we've only voted Republican and things along those lines. The third one had participated in a chaos primaries like Rush Limbaugh had told people to do. So they had technically voted for Democrats. So they're kind of treated a little differently under the bylaws. But in Morgan and I case, they just essentially took us off and they have no good excuse for doing it. We did all the standards that are necessary to be able to be bona FIDE and to be put on the ballot. So now I'm going to fight to make sure that this is allowed to happen because what's really scary about it is it's so similar to what you see happen in communist countries. My family came from Cuba and they had a central committee that essentially chose puppet candidates of the party and people at very limited choices. Well, here we have the state executive committee. The state executive committee is who met and voted to make sure that I would not be allowed back on the ballot. And so it's sort of a creepy parallel from where my family came from to now and more of a warning about how big government and allowing these sorts of things can become a real big problem because now essentially people's vote is limited

Ashley Varner's Start in Politics, Protesting Against Professors

"Protesting outside your professor's houses? Was that the way I interpreted that? Well, no, we were on campus, but we were right across the street from our professors protesting. Yeah, I've been involved in politics from a young age. I think my mother for that. She had Rush Limbaugh on in the house every day from the time I was 9 years old. I was listening to him, so I knew that I wanted to go into politics. I thought that I wanted to get out of Missouri for a while at saint Joseph was a small town for me at the time, and I just couldn't wait to get to Washington D.C.. Just as an aside, Doug now when I explain the difference between saint Joseph, Missouri and Washington, D.C. to each other, I say the difference is when you meet someone new in Washington, D.C., they ask, what do you do? And they are sizing you up to see, are you worth my time? And when you're in Missouri, and you meet someone new and they ask, what do you do? They mean, do you hunt? Do you fish? Do you have a boat? What do you do? So that's the very stark difference between the two and I appreciate Missouri more and more as long as I've lived in the swamp, but I got involved in politics. I campaigned with my local Republican Party in the 1996 elections. I've still in high school, I went to college Republicans at the university of Missouri. I was the chairman of mizu college Republicans when 9 11 happened. And we got flyers. We saw flyers up around campus that two weeks after 9 11, there were going to be protests against any war, you know, food not bombs, and it was led by our professors in the political science department. So as chairman of college Republicans, I said, nope, let's get together. We're going to have campaign sign making party pizza and we're going to make signs patriotic messages, God love our troops,

Rush Limbaugh's Final Biden Warning Comes True

"One of the last things that the phenomenal and the great Rush Limbaugh, and who I got to know, personally, and I was really blessed by that. One of the last things that he said on radio was warning us about how the media is going to pivot if Barack Obama gives the green light and gives the go ahead to remove Joe Biden. This is one of the last things Rush Limbaugh ever said on radio. Play cut 95. Until I'm going to take folks, I think we're seeing enough information on the bidens. Now, to safely say that Biden will serve at the pleasure of Barack Obama. If Obama gives the green light to Democrats to take Biden out, there will be ample evidence that Biden has lied about his knowledge as family was selling his name and office with his permission and if that's in fact the case, then there's likely unreported money. That will be found. The fake news media will temporarily become hard news media if the decision is made that Biden has to step down. Until that time, they will be covering for Biden. They'll be making excuses for Biden. They'll be ignoring all the negatives you wait and then watch what happens to their ratings when that happens. Rush Limbaugh. The Truth About the Vaccine With Daniel Horowitz

"One of my favorite guests is with us right now. Daniel Horowitz from the blaze and he has a great podcast you guys should check out as well. Daniel, welcome back to the Charlie Kirk show. Hey, great to be back with you in this great time of distress. Yeah, that's something like that. So Daniel, are we ready for the ultimate I told you so moment when it comes to all this COVID tyranny? I mean, the evidence just seems to be overwhelming. Well, they made sure we didn't have that. See, I told you so moment because they had the fourth vaccine, namely zelensky. He is the new booster. And that's why nothing matters. Everything was cured. There's no COVID, even though it's spreading in record numbers in places where every vulnerable person has a booster, there's no vaccine injury, even though surveys, life insurance, health insurance data, military data, theirs all signal a cataclysmic degree of long-term, not just those first few weeks upon getting the shot, but really long-term damage. We have more access desks now coming out in the last few months, even though the vaccine uptake has been kind of stagnant, yeah, there's a lot to talk about, but it's not in the news, and it's done by design. As Rush Limbaugh used to always say, it's like a drive by. The drive by media after their carnage is done and everyone kind of starts to realize what's going on. They take their road show down and they're shooting bullets into the next venue. And shocking the system with supply chain issues, just like they did the first time. So we're really on the second half of the great reset so we can't catch our breath and recognize the magnitude of the damage from the first half.

Larry O'Connor: Legacy Media Corps Give Reason Why Talk Radio Exists

"Want to talk about talk radio with you today actually I know it's a little meta The kids like to call this meta When you're doing a talk radio show and you're hosting a talk radio show and you're listening to talk radio show and the topic is talk radio but bear with me Because I think that a lot of people in my industry by the way even within my company And certainly people in the media in general they sort of lost sight as to why we even exist And thankfully thankfully the corporate media the legacy media the mainstream media the non talk radio media That was first exposed by the legendary Rush Limbaugh over 30 years ago thus creating this modern advent of this incredible medium that we love and we use and we rely on The mainstream legacy corporate owned media once again today gives you the perfect reason why we exist And that is the conspiracy and yes that's right I'll say it it is a conspiracy That existed around the silencing in the censorship of the Hunter Biden story during the 2020 presidential election And it is all coming home to roost

Remembering Rush Limbaugh One Year After His Death

"The great Rush Limbaugh went to heaven. He was special. I'll tell you what. All the times driving all across the country, it was a tradition. When I was first getting turning point USA started, I would rent cars, you know, I couldn't rent a car until I was like 22 or 23 or whatever. And I'd always be going to meetings. And I'd try to schedule my meeting so I could be in the car during rush. And so you'd Google Los Angeles, Russia affiliate. And I'd be driving from I don't know, Santa Barbara or Oxnard to Orange County. And I'd be making calls in between, but right there on the radio was rush. No matter where I was in the country I could always get my rush and so then my great friend Tom Patrick May he rest in peace. He was so special. He really got me on to rush when rush I think was at his best rush was at his absolute best. In my personal opinion, not that he was ever bad, but just when I think he was just hitting home run after home run during 2016, 17 and 18, those were the three years where rush was most needed when it was the Christine balls a Ford stuff. The Russia gate stuff and the Trump stuff in 16 rush was spectacular. He kept people at ease about Trump, he kept people at ease about the whole thing. He was he was just so special. I could go on about my stories. I got to know him personally. And he was a friend.

Remembering Rush Limbaugh's Remarks to Conservatives at CPAC 2009

"I want to tell you who we all are in this room. If I want to tell you who conservatives are, we conservatives have not done a good enough job of just laying out basically who we are because we make the mistake of assuming that people know, well, what they know is largely incorrect based on the way we are portrayed in pop culture in the drive by media. By the Democrat party. Let me tell you who we conservatives are. We love people. When we look out over the United States of America, when we are anywhere when we see a group of people, such as this or anywhere, we see Americans. We see human beings. We don't see groups. We don't see victims. We don't see people we want to exploit. What we see, what we see is potential. We do not look out across the country. And see the average American, the person that makes this country work, we do not see that person with contempt. We don't think that person doesn't have what it takes. We believe that person can be the best he or she wants to be, if certain things are just removed from their path, like onerous taxes, regulations and too much government. One of the greatest storytellers, one of the greatest champions, one of the greatest voices, our country has ever seen. There will be no one like him ever again.

Mike Gallagher Pays Homage to the Late Great Rush Limbaugh

"We're establishing a ground rule for today's show. I want every single caller to start your call by giving me dittos and it is not for me. It's for one of the greatest broadcasters in the history of the country who died one year ago today. And when Rush Limbaugh passed the entire industry, shifted because nobody did it like he did. And of course, all of us who were fans and some of us who got to meet him and work with him, considered ourselves ditto heads. That was the affectionate nickname for the millions of people who tuned in to Rush Limbaugh every day. And because callers would start, hi rush dittos from Cincinnati, Ohio. Or mega dittos from Spartanburg, South Carolina. And that meant that you were a ditto head. You were because and the genesis of that was rush didn't want people to get bogged down when they would go on and on and how about how much they love to show. And how much they appreciated and respected and loved him. So instead of going through all the platitudes he would say, just say dittos. And he just became a thing. And boy, do I miss him?

Jennifer Horn on the Lasting Legacy of Rush Limbaugh

"Jennifer what for you is the lasting legacy of what touched you the most about rush? Oh, gosh. Rush, I think it was the if you look up talk show host in the dictionary he is exactly what we are all supposed to be. And it's for a number of reasons. Rush Limbaugh, new radio first, and I know that we've talked about this before. This is always what guides me in my job that I'm blessed to do every single day doing morning radio, and that is you have to entertain first. If you don't entertain and build a relationship with your audience first, they're not going to listen care or trust to what you have to say. And so you always have to remember that we're lucky enough to be in this radio medium. So you have to be vulnerable and you have to learn how to tell a story and you have to gain the trust in the friendship of your audience. That's what rush did. That's what I try to do. I try to emulate him in that respect, and then once you learn to do that, the rest follows. The news is always going to be there. It's how you present it to people that makes you unique and makes you stand out. And rush could make liberals listen to him because he was funny and he would drive them nuts and half of Russia's listening audience. I guarantee you. People that were not that did not agree with him, but listen to him to listen to how he would tell the story and to just get infuriated, and you could tell that by his callers, he would always get these calls from people that were on opposite sides of the aisle, but that still were drawn in by Russia's

Pastor David Engelhardt Describes His New Book 'Good Kills'

"With us as pastor David engel hart, author of a phenomenal new book, good kills. And pastor David engelhardt is going to tell us what that means. And also, we're going to walk through some Christmas themes with him, David. Welcome back to the Charlie Kirk show. Hey, Charlie, thanks. Thanks to beyond good to be on a Christmas two days before Christmas. I always reminded of the Rush Limbaugh Thanksgiving, you know, special. And I think we should develop a Charlie Kirk Christmas special where we talk about some of the things we've forgotten like Mary being really important, right? And why Santa Claus is a really great idea. And some of those ideas, it'll be like it'll be like rushes, Thanksgiving thing your version. I love that idea and kind of reminding our listeners of some of the forgotten parts of Christmas. But first your book, good kills. It is awesome. It has some of the themes that I've talked about on this show. And David, if you saw the hate mail, I got over talking about some of the stuff that you talk about. So we'll get into all of that later, but talk a little bit about your book and then I want to get into the Christmas stuff and then we can go through piece by piece. Yeah, yeah. Well, the book is really a framework for a Christian or a conservative that likes God. It's those two people. It's an intellectual framework that we build out about morality about justice about order about goodness and where the basic premise is that you must have both charity, which is this kind of goodwill kind of intention to graciousness, humility, laughter, joy, all these things, and then on the balancing charity as you must have justice, which is there is right and wrong. There are debts and obligations. You do owe people, you should get punished for doing wrong things. And those basic ideas, we have to have intention moving forward. Now the left really loves the kindness, the giving money away, taking taxes and spreading it out. They like that. They don't like justice. They don't like punishment of villains. They don't like the death penalty. They're doing away with all the hard virtues. And the church has done the

I have a philosophy. There's good that happens in. Everything may not reveal itself immediately and even in the most dire circumstances if you just wait just remain open to things. The good in it will reveal itself and that has happened to me as well. These are the lesser known measures of the man behind the golden. Eib microphone on the air. "He became part of a prestigious class of inductees in nineteen ninety three for a guy from cape girardeau missouri fired from his first seven radio jobs before finding any sort of success behind the microphone. The entire experience was nothing short of humbling. So many standards of excellence have been set by previous inductees. Tonight's that all. I can hope to do is try to approximate them as i go through my career and if i am one day judged to have done that then i will consider it to have been worth it in the success. I say what. I say to the american people in any chance. I have a chance to speak to them. I do and i am so grateful and so honored regardless what i mean to them. I am certain that. I will never mean as much to them as they mean to me. After patiently waiting through a critical introductory speech from sally jesse raphael based on their political differences rush confidently strolled up to the podium and delivered an acceptance speech full of class grace and gratitude into speech. He offered his thanks to the american people. Family and colleagues and ironically enough is competition and those who disagreed with. When i came to new york there was one man i said. Here's the standard. That's what i'm up against here. Who i consider my competition to be if larry king had not shown that syndicated talk programming would work. I wouldn't have had the chance. I think larry king is well. I think all of you thank you so much allowing to run long no matter if you're an athlete a musician. Broadcaster being inducted into the hall of fame is usually the crowning achievement of a long career. Finished as you head off in the sunset but for rush limbaugh it was only the beginning with still more than twenty. Five years of excellence in broadcasting. Calm.

Come out when the people going to stand up and so maybe WANNA call because yesterday Peoria Police Department had a press conference, and so one of the questions and the press conference was asked to the sheriff or the police chief I guess, and he's like what happens if a place gets looted and the business owner is in there is. He allowed to defend his property? He says I don't know I gotta go to legal, so they bring the attorney up and attorney says the attorney that's in charge here says you're not allowed to practice self defense, or take the law your own hands I believe is. She said you're supposed to call the police. That's what they're trained for well. If you're in the middle of a riot how you gonNA call the police because they're busy somewhere else, so you're just supposed to burn yourself down, but it's that attitude and pure is very democratic. It said attitude why. Nobody wants stand up because if we defend our stuff, we shoot somebody or whatever. We go to jail. So what's use? Where's the freedom? Yeah exactly! I'll be happy to try to explain this to you. My friends man. Is there a lot brewing out there today? As their sadly is each. And every day we're on top of all of it. Looking forward to the next three hours broadcast excellence hosted by me. Rush Limbaugh. Really, great to have you with us, folks, telephone number is. Eight hundred, two, eight, two, two, eight, eight, two, the email address elrushbo at eib net dot us the judge in this cases Emmet Sullivan. And just just to refresh. The Department of Justice has decided to throw the Flynn case out. There's no case. They literally have no case. There is no evidence. There was nothing the whole thing was manufactured. The DOJ is throwing out. So a bunch of Watergate, era dinosaur lawyers. Have petitioned the judge. To file a meekest briefs You don't file. A MEKA friend of the court is what it makes brief means. And it's it's entirely without getting into the. Into the weeds here on legal issues. It's entirely irrelevant, uncalled for and not. Relevant or necessary. In this case, but the judge. Is, going to permit it. The judges Emmet Sullivan is a Clinton appointee. And the thing about this. That's curious as Emmet Sullivan presided over the. Ted Stevens trial which he threw out because of the same kind prosecutorial abuse that has gone on here. Yet in this case Sullivan, the judge is on record. As having called Michael Flynn a traitor. He's on record as wanting flynn to be punished far more severely than the DOJ even when it was an active case. Wanted Flynn punished. So the judge doesn't WANNA. Let them get away with just dropping the case. Now the judge cannot try a case. The DOJ doesn't bring to court, so it isn't about that. It's not about judge. Sullivan, trying to force. Bar in the DOJ into submitting for a trial and present the evidence or lack of it. It's about something that's. Well depending how you look at these things far more far more sinister. Judge Sullivan you should know refused twenty five times. To allow a Mikus briefs written. And to be submitted on behalf of Flynn. During the phase of this where it was an actual case before the DOJ had dropped it. There were twenty five separate requests. For Friends of Flynn to file a makes briefs on his behalf, and this judge refused all twenty five times. Legal experts will tell you that case law. Generally prohibits trial court judges like this. From second guessing the government's decision not to prosecute a defendant. But it is really rare for a judge to ask for or in this case permit. amicus briefs when the prosecution has defied, it decided to drop a case so what Tampa here the DOJ and bar announcer gonNA drop the case. And these Watergate guys led by Richard. Benveniste as we're talking about lawyers, whose heyday was in the nineteen seventies, folks. Are Demanding to. Be Heard. They're demanding. They want to prolong this. They want to be able to give the media something. They can go on record to counter this case. Because the news of the case is, there isn't a case. There wasn't any collusion. The Russians if anything we have now learned were helping Hillary. And we have that source from none other than John, Brennan Obama Ziarat Director. That's coming up here in just a second. So what these lawyers pure partisan left-wing Democrat hats! Have, asked. The judge to do is to give them a forum. Of, creating a phony news cycle! That will continue the original attempt to suggest that Flynn is guilty. I mean. What are these? People got a friend of the court brief. The of what friend who here? Core they friends of hers Watergate Lawyers Friends of Wealth Friends of the court in this case one of the arguing. Their argument DOJ should not drop the case. They don't have a case.
