"Is there any other kinds? Journey one at one point, New Jersey chime time is 304 Labor Day Afternoon. Hello to you and yours from us and ours normally, Mr Saturday Night here on a Monday. What the what the and I'm sure there's traffic. I know there's a lot of problems. On the turnpike right now, Let's check that and everything else with New Jersey fast traffic as you head home from your front weekend. Well, we have been keeping our eyes on the situation on the turnpike this afternoon. Still looking at a five mile North Mandalay heading up past exit three approaching Exit four for a while, they had at least one lane blocked for the remnants of a tractor trailer fire being cleared. At last check. The truck was gone. The right lane was still shut down to get everything cleaned up, but it looks like they might be getting set to reopen all lanes if they haven't already. So that's the good news. The bad news. Still a lot of tough Dortmund traffic up the Runnymede. In towards Mount Laurel. So to beat that head on over to to 95 that still looks like a pretty good alternate. The other story this afternoon has been sure volume making the return trip home on this Labor Day afternoon. We've gotten better coming out of Cape May County just a little bit of stop and go as you head up towards Somers point, and then the worst of it appears to be between Ocean and Monmouth counties. You've got north bound traffic from Toms River up to brick, and then again through wall as you head towards the Asbury tolls at the off ramp to 1 29 off the parkway. There's still a crash being cleared away, and we've got a slight delay here at the Outerbridge crossing a Goethals bridge to leaving New Jersey. For the Hudson, the worst of it. Still, the George Washington Bridge both decks, or at least the upper deck now appears to be a 25 minute backup downstairs about 15 to 20 Lincoln Tunnel, including travel Time on 4 95 about 10 to 15 minute delay in about that now at the Holland Tunnel, too. Traffic every 15 minutes. Your next report 3 18. I'm Jeff from on New Jersey. 1 to 1.5. And on this labor day back to school back to back hits weekend back to back Fleetwood Mac. Hey, that rhymes on.

She was delivering so by mid morning on the fifth she was itching to get up in the air once more. Her journey to the village of killington were the airspeed was expected was only ninety minute flight from blackpool so despite the poor conditions. It's unlikely anyone expected major troubles. But after amy took off several hours passed and there was no sign of her in oxfordshire or anywhere else around three thirty that afternoon. Some four and a half hours after amy took off crew members aboard the hms. Hazel mir spotted a plane in distress. They watched a parachute unfurl near their position in the thames estuary and rushed to where the pilot landed in. The freezing water was close enough. They heard the pilot crying out for help. It seemed clear to everyone. Aboard the navy ship that there was no saving amy but they could save her passenger and that was the strange thing. Amy wasn't supposed to have a passenger. But lieutenant commander walter fletcher. Captain of the hazel mirror. Didn't know that he dove into the frigid water hoping to rescue the second figure bobbing along in the ship's wake but the lieutenant himself was overwhelmed by the icy conditions and lost consciousness. He was pulled from the water by his crew by the time. The lifeboat made it to fletcher. Any sign of amy her plane and her mysterious passenger were long gone. If the captain held any insight into what happened to them it was a secret he would take to his grave. He died in hospital. A few days later never regaining consciousness. Ask for amy johnson. Her body was never recovered. A memorial service was held in her honor later that month without a body to bury. She was commemorated at the air. Force's memorial at runnymede but in the eighty years since there's never been an official explanation for what happened the day amy. Jansen took her last flight. "For Bill bar to do that would be. And I think this is being recognized certainly in the legal community, but law sometimes swamped by politics would be a pretty flagrant violation of the criminal laws with potential criminal penalties. As I say at the attorney general is following the law now that having been said, the attorney general enjoys as a matter of executive power discretion. So as I see it. He has the discretion. To share consistent with law more than he's required to do under the regulations. But isn't it intriguing that these regulations I wanna just reiterate this? I think it's important in your own conversations with folks who just say, why don't we just released the report because we have hopefully always in this country the rule of law, not the rule of passion. And that includes the rule of or the goal of of transparency. Those regulations I want to reiterate this had been an effect for twenty years. This is not novel. They were in effect throughout President Obama's administration through President, George W Bush's administration. Was there? And I think the answer is no here. Probably know was there an oversight hearing by the House Judiciary committee any committee with respect to excuse me. We're the committee of transparency in the country of transparency, let's have a hearing. What what is this curbing and cutting back, and that all you are obligated to do Mr. tourney generalists who provide us with a notification? And then an explanation of what has been done. So I leave you with this law counts. Even in this world of politics. In fact, one of the jobs of the attorney general has a hard job. And I'll close with this is to tell the president, whoever the president is no depressed. You cannot do that. You can't do that. You can go to congress or whatever. But within the ambient, and it's a broad Ambit of the powers that you enjoy by virtue of having the executive power the United States in article two of the constitution. Vested in you. But still in all you are under the law. This was established. And let us give thanks for it. If you're person of faith, we should prayerfully give thanks that John at Runnymede his majesty had to accede to the proposition, and those more Shelley say homogeneous days of culture at Runnymede John was willing to say, I John Christian king and I'm under God. But he was not willing to say I'm under the law of the realm. Political power of the barons on that beautiful meadow near Windsor Castle on the banks of the Thames river. He acceded to the proposition that even the king is under the law. We have no king. As a matter of constitutional law. We can never have a king. But we do have a chief executive who is under the law. What do we do to assure that Jackson balances? Yes. Holding presidents to account. So let's have tragedies and disasters in the form of special counsels, and independent counsels and special prosecutors, what it all boils down to is the integrity. Ultimately, the president himself. But also, the integrity of those who serve in the Justice department because at the root of Watergate was a Justice department that allowed itself at the highest levels to be compromised. And I am going to now. Offer enclosing a victory prediction. Bill far will not be compromised. I love the way put it as his confirmation hearing. I will not be bullied, you know, the White House. Teddy Roosevelt said is a. It's a bully. Everything is bully. That's a good word but being bullied is not. And as he's looking at the senators on both sides of the aisle. He said, I he Bill Maher as the nominee said, I will not be bullied by anyone. So God bless the Justice department. The Elliot Richardson's in the Bill ruckus houses the Bob Bork's. And now the Bill bars of the world, thank you for your attention. I look at.

"Howard, Kurtz, it's been a busy weekend for attorney general William bar. He's reviewing special counsel, Robert Mueller's or poured on Russian election interference and putting together a summary of the findings. He's expected to release that summary today. Top Democrats say they don't want a summary. They want the entire report congressman Jerrold Nadler tells CNN state of the union, well, we'll try to negotiate and we'll try everything else first. But if we have to yes, we will certainly issue subpoenas to get that information, but congressman Mark meadows. Tell state of the union. He doesn't think a subpoena will be necessary because attorney general bar has indicated he's going to do as much as he possibly can within the confines of the law to not only inform congress, but informed, the American people all we know at this point is the findings in the report didn't result in any new indictments it died and legislative session, but a proposal to ban all handheld cell phone.
