"A inmate a lifer hence the name for life who seems to be fighting for his appeal in and he's representing himself in court again all that from the commercials have never watched it. It's another show where you got to be British actor playing American guys very good actor. Nicholas Pinnock. I believe his name. I saw him in a BBC. Production series called Marcello. Very good I again just surprised that. Why do we you know? I don't want to take anything from British actors. I don't you know but seems like we can't find. Americans play these American roles. These guys are just rather get these. Brits do it and have them speak to. My ear usually very seldom. Do these guys go out of character? They can do American accents. Pretty well you know. Sometimes they get upset and they do a scene where they're crying or yelling here. A little bit Brit come out or or especially. If they're Irish actors a lot of times it'll come out but they're great actors I to say but they are so anyway. That's we don't know what's going to happen to that one. Also the series the baker in the beauty which I talked about a couple of months ago. It seems on this show. No one knows. If that's coming back I have not seen the baker and the beauty now in terms of new shows. Abc has already given a straight to series order to the drama Big Sky. Why could this coming from David? Kelly and David. Kelly knows these door when it comes to creating network television so they have it the network will announce its schedule for twenty twenty at a later date. I will come back with that for you guys when I haven't now in the next segment I'm going to go over the top one. Well actually the top twenty five of the top one hundred shows by viewership. Okay according to It was I got him out of variety. Surprise for you as you listen to the show however along with this list variety decided to give categories of winners and losers of this last season. So I'm going to review. This is not necessarily my list although I agree with it of who variety what shows they were winners and losers for the twenty nine hundred twenty twenty season. So let's start with the winners. They say one of the winners is ninety day. Fiance now before people were talking about tiger king was. Tlc's ninety day fiance franchise that had taken the crown as TV's most popular guilty pleasure. Yes there are three different editions of Ninety Day fiance. That made the top one hundred. This year you got regular. Ninety Day fiance you had ninety day fiance before the ninety days and Ninety Day. Fiance the other way. What the differences are. I have no idea. Another winner. Seems like a winner every year is the NFL dominated as usual with Sunday night. Football Thursday night football and Monday night. Football all being in the top five of viewership of the shows this year. That's crazy and their last winter is who my Guy Dick. Everything's coming up Dick Wolf his FBI most wanted is the season's most watched new series and in total viewers he clocks four out of the eight most watched scripted series in prime time. Dick Wolf knows what he's doing his three Chicago shows for NBC to FBI. Cbs Main durable franchises. And like I said you can expect to see. Fbi HUMAN TRAFFICKING FBI or FBI puppy mills. You'll see every generation of FBI possible until it peters out losers. It was a tough one for comedy this year. I think this situation comedy is the lost art in my personal segment. Young Sheldon is the most watched comedy in prime time is ranked it number nine very high. But that tells you something because I don't think young Sheldon is going down in the Pantheon of great situation comedies and last least the loser is the walking dead. Now it's a loser with a qualification. The walking dead continues to be a top rated cable entertainment program but remember it used to be the number one show now with keeps sliding down and this is the first spin out of the top ten. It's at number eleven. So the zombies are petering away finally and that's it for the winners and losers. I'll be back next segment with the top one hundred rated series but actually just the top twenty five. We have enough time to go to the top hundred. Go get another refill. Maybe order pizza and I'll be back soon after we pay a few bills. Thanks for listening to find out what movies to go see and check out the GMC movie podcast. The fifth season of Ru Paul's drag race stars is being shaken up. Yes this season. There are new ways to get eliminated and new rules when it comes to lips thinking for one's legacy. Vh1 announced Thursday. Now for those of you. Who aren't all Zaim? Vh One used to be a music channel just like MTV by now. It's populated with reality shows like group Paul's drag race instead of selecting the top to Queens of the week and having them perform opposite each other as has been a tradition on the all-stars which is a spin off of the original Jack Drag Race Franchise. That's how much rupaul was balling out of control. And I do and I you know I am saying a little snarky but I have a world. I have a Lotta respect for Rupaul. Anyone who's been able to amass and create the career that he has. Its you know its masterful. Massive warm host and executive producer. Rupaul will select only one top all star per episode. Which I'm assuming was different. Maybe he picked like the top three before by now my man is like I'm just picking one then that queen will lip sync against a mysterious lip sync assassin. You Bet this was excellent. All right I can repeat that. He's going to lip sync again say mysterious lip sync assassin as the Viacom network puts it. Who are the special guests? Some of the most iconic performers from past seasons if the competing queen wins the lip sync. She wins a ten thousand dollar tip and the power to eliminate the bottom queen of for choice but if she loses to the assassin a bottom queen selected from a secret group vote will be sent packing kick rocks and the money will rollover raising the winnings when a top queen does win. Rupaul is making this like dog. Eat Dog you work rupaul. Previously called this twist so twisted is guaranteed to twist your twisted mind. And it looks like it's a twist that will stick around for seasons to come as Rupaul says. All-star rules have been suspended forever. He says that in the new season trailer which you can also watch a new as if you have more time to waste after listening to this podcast but if you do go to youtube in waste more time and watched that trailer and you rupaul. Say Just said but that's not all the drag race news. No no no no. Vh1 has more VH1 also announced celebrity guest judges for the season. What led by Ricky Martin? Naturally who will appear in the season Premiere episode other judges? This season include Tessa Thompson. Tessa Thompson Cheese has a great agent. I mean he's very talented. But she's everywhere Martin Lawrence Board. Who I've no idea that. Is The coal buyer. Sarah Hyland Tommy Dorfman. Any of these people are Jeffrey. Bowyer Chapman. Bb WREKSA. Jane Cow Ski. Who I know and as I confessed on this show before I have a crush on. Jane Korelsky Sam. Richardson Toddrick Hall in Madison Beer. Who recently competed on Rupaul? Secret celebrity increase? Oh my goodness boo. Paul is the Matt. Can I repeat the name of that? Show this got to Paul's secret celebrity drag race wow Michelle visage. Carson Christly and Ross Matthews returned as permanent judges as well as previously announced the competing queens on the season. And you didn't know this segment was going to beat as long drag rooting Paul's drag race. Did you as previously announced the competing queens on this season. Include Alexis Matteo Blair Sinclair Derek. Berry India Farah Jubilee Art. Let me try this Mariah Paris balance. Yoga Mayhem Miller. Ms Craca own on Jonah and Shea Cu Les Tam this you know no wonder people watch is the upcoming fifth season of Rupaul drag race. Allstars was at first announced to be airing on showtime but it has moved back to. Vh One in will premiere. On June fifth. The season Premiere episode will feature a reading mini challenge. And they were work the World Runway Extravaganza. Damn leading up to that. Premier is a Rupaul drag race all-stars marathon consisting of all episodes from the previous four seasons beginning. Saturday may thirtieth at six o'clock in the morning. Okay so get up at six. Am Sunday on Saturday. Excuse me may thirtieth and go straight your tillerson turn on rupaul. Drag race and sit there. All the way through to Sunday may thirty first eleven pm and that's going to be on logo. That was a mouthful. All praise goes Rupaul Rupaul. Balling out of control. And here is some more breaking news prodigal son which I have clown couple times on this show is to the Fox fold the network has renewed the Michael Sheen and Tom Paint. Serial killer drama for a second season precisely where prodigal son will fit into. Fox's twenty twenty twenty twenty. One slate remains to be seen as a network. Already set a fall schedule anchored by acquisitions. Like it's finest with we've talked about on the show as well. La's finest spin off of the bad boys franchise. I'm looking to get into that again. Some other shows that had been mentioned in previous that they'd denounce him been the mask singer and scripted series. That have been held back from last season like next filthy rich. Given the corona virus production shutdown sources say that season to a product goes on will most likely appear sometime midseason. So they'll probably be somewhere in October something like that and maybe early November. All right let me read you this quote and then from the press release and then. I'll give you my two cents quote. From the moment prodigal son premiered fans have been captivated by it's astounding performances tuned. It turned in by Tom. Paine and Michael Sheen as go head to head in one of the most unique family relationships on television sets Fox president of entertainment. Michael Thorne listen to the plot. Probably follows Malcolm Bright. He's played by Tom. Paine a psychologist. Who has a gift for understanding? How serial killers think because his father? Dr Martin widdly. That's Michael Sheen was. One of the worst and notorious serial killers ever called the surgeon. Bright is the best criminal psychologist around and murder. Is the family business. He uses his twisted genius to help. Nypd solve crimes for his longtime mentor. Nypd detective Gilroy royal played by Lou Diamond Phillips who? I don't he just showing up again all while dealing with his manipulative mother Jessica in his seemingly normal sister Ainsley and a homicidal father still looking to bond with his product fund. Okay like I said. Earlier in this podcast. I've never watched this show so I'm not gonNA tell you not to watch the show and I may be totally wrong about this but from what I'm reading here from what I could see on the commercials which is why don't watch it. This is pretty much though. Will Graham Story. If will Graham had been the son of Hannibal Lecter..

"But explain this masterminding how did you get interested in this, Nick, Nick Bilton did the same thing? He wrote his he's running. But well, he's writing about the dark web, isn't he anyway? Yeah. Go ahead someone somewhere. So so yeah. So I wrote this as originally as a series of articles. I read the book was originally a series of articles for the magazine. So and the reason that we did them the way we did them was it was a big story that I'd stumbled across about this head of this cartel cartel. So he was a computer programmer named Paula ru Paul Calder larou- born in Zimbabwe, but also raised in South Africa. So people call them, South African sometimes, and he was actually a very very talented technologist. He created a piece of software called encryption for the masses in the late nineties early two thousands, which was the precursor to true crypt, which is one of the most famous one of the most famous pieces of disconnection software. So he did that but see star from attacking this is a techie that's part of tacky to like. Yeah. He's I mean, one of the things I would say about him as if everything he did had been done in the straight world would be sitting here. We're talking about it. He be on the cover of fast. Billionaire founder of the best encryption Zoff where. Yeah, what he did was he gave away and Christian for the masses for free part of the open source movement. And then he got very frustrated that he never made any money on and give it away. Well, he was trying to participate in spirit of the times are still today of the open source software movement. So what he did? Instead was he started a prescription pill online empire, and it was incredibly clever tap, I mean, well, it's not quite clear where he got the original idea it just popped out of his head or copying of the masses instead of contention for the mess, and yeah opioids nearly opioids. So in the in about two dozen four he basically started building this network, and the idea was they would recruit local doctors in the United States local pharmacists in the United States. And then a customer could go online Google drug like tram at all painkiller, and they would go to a site that was controlled by Paula ru or one of his affiliates than their order there. And their little survey that they filled out would go to a real doctor in the US with signed on to be paid by the press. Option to write prescriptions. Then that prescription would go to a small town pharmacist who was trying to compete against big box retailers. They would get two dollars per prescription for issuing it and in doing so the whole actual distribution of the drugs was contained within the United States. He Paul was operating from the Philippines behind layers and layers of technology, and again, why hundreds of millions of dollars giving sale y operating from the Philippines, originally, I think it was because they have decent infrastructure. They have a call center kind of culture. So he needed customer service, call centers for the sites, but eventually it became more that he could buy off almost anyone in the government or law enforcement. And and did so so. They were going to arrest him for drug trafficking. Many things. Yes, I drug trafficking, but also eventually violence murder, he shifted. He used his proceeds from the prescription pill network to get into all manner of international crime is probably the most prolific criminal possibly in history. He got into arm sales sold arms to Iran. He was buying meth out of North Korea. He was shipping. Hundreds kills of cocaine and yachts across the world across the Pacific Ocean. So he was actually becoming a real kind of like El Chapo style cartel, but he actually made the whole thing himself from scratch. I'm Scott out of his head and a business that is adjacent legal right in a way. It's done the pill business. It was a really tricky thing when they tried to prosecute it because first of all they couldn't get to them..

I probably is another show that you want to you know, the rupaul thing. We got another one from Bobby in Detroit. I wanted to tell them. We wanna tell them. I'm telling you that she's still looks so swing the bat and rob would love to glow with doors. Jay. I'll just say God bless Doris day ninety six now. Carol Cheney's ninety I think she's ninety six to unbelievable. Still in her prime. She can still she can still they both could still swing the back. Let me tell you that they can still bring it. She's wearing. Ninety seven ninety seven now, excuse me. Carol channing. You remembered diamonds are a girl's best friend. You. Remember that you know? It's funny. You guys don't remember Jean Kennedy, Jean Kennedy, the soccer, coach, Michigan state and Michigan state. Just went to the final four this. I saw that. I saw that acronyms lost. They lost Barbara Jean Kennedy. I didn't even know this. He's ninety doing well. And he he coached Michigan state soccer back in like the fifties. And sixties, I didn't even know gene was one of my favorite guys at MSU when I went to state and then afterwards he was the department but nice little run for the Spartan soccer. They'd never done that before she coaching the team now tonight, Akron, Maryland. Coaching the team you guys you guys are Michigan state is you should remember the name Jane Chen. He is ninety s doing fun. Just like bump Elliott still doing what ninety two. Yeah. He was on my show. You remember that he was on my show? Yes. Jazz Elliott bump Elliott, still going strong ninety two lives in Iowa. Now. Yeah. He was longtime aide. Coach lived, okay. Let's Jean Kennedy. Good wrestler too. Let's go back to the scores show. We on that not the scores. But the party pisses me know that one sixteen to one zero eight and the lions now are still ahead. Three nothing. And Arizona has the ball where? But it's not been reversed. I guess Arizona kept the ball. Okay. Bathroom rose. And then I guess they're reviewed it in this other place been reverse. So there's on I think is at the thirty nine. Thirty nine yard line. So. By the way, there were three significant NFL records kind of broke today of you saw that. Aaron Rodgers broke the record. Tom Brady's record for most passes consecutively without pick. Tom Brady broke the record for most touchdown passes combined regular season and playoffs. Five hundred eighty juicy the quote from Tom Brady the other day. This offense here. Rodgers will get seven thousand yards a year. Yeah. Probably you might be right about that. Julio jones. Fourteen hundred plus receiving actual the fifth straight year. That's an NFL record demonstrate pretty significant records both two quarterbacks and a receiver record broken today. Very good. Very good. Now. Let's go back to the calls here. We've got another Email from Bobby and Detroit to calls waiting yet. We're going to get to them here in the second. Bobby from Detroit has couple of questions for Mark. He says regarding the NFL hall of fame, you're hosting Stafford will make it in a golden Tate as a possibility. Do you agree? And Jerry Rice says that manning is not a holiday your take. Manning is a hall of Famer matched effort if the season if this career and the tomorrow would not be and neither would golden Tate. And then the same thing is a much better quarterback than than Eli manning. It would be it would be hard for matched every little hall of fame about everyone's gonna playoff game. I'm aware of. But I see better quarterback the manning. But I don't have much regard for the NFL for the pro football hall of fame. Anyhow. Matters to me is baseball. And that's coming up on the way. Okay. Let's take some calls now. Oh my God. We got Alex and Kalamazoo to did. Hello, alex. Looks like it's still on the phone right now at the border. Green bouncing. But the second part of bobby's Email is your Mark your host has said the Tigers will in seventy five games next season. I think the lose more than one hundred what's your prediction? I'm gonna stick with us two years. I've been almost spot on I think that an uncle guardians now at five consecutive ninety lost seasons as a manager for Minnesota one out. The tigers. I see nothing that's gonna change my mind that that teams are ninety loss team. So I'll probably hanging in the ninety five area. They always one hundred ninety eight last two years. I think ninety maybe a little improvement ninety five. That's why would go right now on early December peck with the with the winter meetings starting here in Vegas really tomorrow sixty five wins for him. Wow. Just about on base. I think it'd be a little better. But now they're not going to be much sixty five sixty five makes it sixty five and ninety seven that's about that range ninety five one hundred losses. Nothing's gonna nothing's changed. And and you're not gonna see all in the winter meetings. Veal is not going to do much. I mean, don't expect anything in the next four days here in Vegas. I don't I don't see them going after anybody big, obviously. And and he might have moves they make will be this baby. Throwing the bullpen their team eight to tell you pretty much set. People Tigers are pretty much set where those. They're going to go out and get a shortstop. You think they are? I mean, I mean there's a possibility of Escobar because he's been working out with Maggie. And they admit he can convince him to come over for a little bit of money. Why should he convinced him to come over? And he doesn't wanna be himself. Probably doesn't..

"To seriously now the the operative word there is too seriously in and you have to decide what's to seriously but you'll make mistakes it's okay sara you'll be fine ill i want to get to fill i don't wanna get too philosophical here but there's the fusion go the philosopher alain watts became very popular he's in the movie uh her and in aidid's just made a re but i've been listening to him for many years and he is a theory that what if we were uh you know all dreaming and that this is all a big dream and that our lifetime say last twenty minutes and every time we go to sleep we could to choose what we're going to dream about and that initially will when we start this we want to be princes isn't kings and i wanna be a superhero one five and then also later as we get used to this concept we think you know what make random i don't want to know what it is surprise me and you know for the 20minute dream you might decide i wanna be a little person or want wanna be blinded or want to be something different right because you know at the end of the dream you will be whole you will be the you will go unchanged since then it's then life becomes not too serious you realize some i'm good no matter what you know and actually i think that's what his helmet hair hold the crystal isis i spencer prats christos fear aside although here i thought we were going to have a say on my last may that was i was you know what to say where just like actually shows over a good night i'm high before we take a break before a game i do wanna talk i did actually in fact affect everyone because they didn't talk about drag what con jaguar jaguar cuando we're not talking about why condo i actually went to junior high school with someone culture ikwan really know online rag khan in your offensive bio we didn't talk about it but i did see that fair amount was there.

"There's not a an easy path you know there have been people who have hich my wagon to like david bowie and share and diana ross and people like that but at one point like a fuselage to a rocket at one point you get to a certain place and that fuselage breaks off and europe there on your own you have to draw from within an so schooled in school i didn't i guess that has never usually disquiet over here and all i can come up with any of the stuff by the way this is stuff i've collect along the way of anything at any point in your career did you feel like you strayed from that path of of listening to yourself in your intuition and who you are sure absolutely there have been times but i've caught myself you know and mrs where meditation and this is where spiritual practices come in because and good friends and your tribe there have been people said on come over here covered and also listening to the the universe's staged direction you know it's as you know a little to the left kiddo and so uh that's that's that's been very very very helpful while because it's so hard though you now it's like you're in show business in your offered this job to the rights and you're like well it's going to pay my mortgage this month is really what i want to do and it doesn't really go along with who i think but i got in it oh and i shall hard tied done it i've done those things and you and i look back and think i'll never do that again you know old fairness lord mistake summits sure but you know it's still early today i may know it's clear but it's it's it is it important to not take life.

"I love it ever worse shape shifter's now so there are drag queens who started off in nightclubs doing shows as showgirls like we all are who then realized that they too are transsexual that they feel that their gender is kind of not kind of but is the wrong gender so that's that's the difference so there are showgirls who are transsexuals in their transsexuals who are not showgirls the the is really um you know i gotta tell you know when i was a kid i i never fit in and i thought you know i'm smart i can figure this out i can figure way to fit in and i looked at society understand i looked at what it was all about and i realize after i studied it i want nothing to do with that i feel i'm i'm lucky i don't fit into that thing so i made of a pact with myself to never buy into the matrix or never subscribed to the the density that madison avenue the advertisers want to stick on me because they need to put us in a box so they can sell beer and shampoo to us right about that you'll never gonna fit into that that that box and it i never have isn't that fabulous your success comes from you just being authentically yale yummy isn't that a wonderful thing is one of it's not easy it's not easy because you have to be a trailblazer in a fraud frontiers men you have to find your way and light answers not.
