"Show. Please leave your message after the tone. Central guys. This is awesome. Peachy JD ROY Andrew Maynas, Victoria. I guess today. I received a letter from big fan. An package for me today. Actually, just you mail. Yes. It is the feedback time if you'd like to send your feedback you can head over to audio theatre central dot com slash contact or send your Email feedback audio theatre central dot com or send a text or voice mail to six to three six eight two seven seven zero. All right. First up. We have an Email from Gabe en- gave here says dear JD Royan, Andrew. Interesting. Interesting order. Probably appropriate. Thanks so much for doing the show. My name is Gabe. And I'm fifteen years old actually just found out about you guys because of your father, Gilbert, a soul in torment review. And I've been listening to you since I love adventures in odyssey. Father Gilbert, G Hinchey dramas in any other Christian audio drama. I can find I use this podcast to find new audio dramas, and it's really helpful. Thanks so much. You're welcome exactly say, that's what we're all about where here for I was just curious what the best way to listen to audio drama is most audio dramas have clubs that you joined to listen to them. But if you get all those at ends up being really expensive. I still haven't heard anything from lamplight or theater, but I'm really interested. You have accounts on all of the clubs the audio dramas you listen to or do you just buy the CD's as they come out Cape? Good questions. Here's a secret. Gabe, start a podcast. Tease it we're we're basically the press of the industry where where critics of the industry the critics. We're the only ones he ate e involved. But so we do get a lot of audio drama submitted to us so that we can review them and let people know about them. So a lot of stuff we pay for. But we do pay for the club. I a member of the eventually odyssey club. I actually also in the heirloom audio club, which is live the adventure clubs. What is called our other team member who writes our blog Austin has checked out some of the other ones that Jonathan park club. And then he has looked into the lamp lighter club. So, you know, we do want to check these things out because we don't want to just like recommend all this stuff right to the listener. Without checking out what the benefits are of them. Exactly. I'm but you're absolutely right. If you join everything one of these clubs. Yes, it can get expensive. I would say check out the ones that you really really like in whatever your favorite went isn't enjoying that club shirt. Any they do a lot of free trials started cut you off JD, but you kind start doing free trial. Yep. Which is very helpful. Because as long as you take advantage of it, actually. During the trial period, try to use as much of it as you can long. But whatever can pound it. You'll know if it's worth the to or not exactly that's a very good point. And then, you know, a lot of them have released samples and stuff on our very own podcast. The Brickman adventures allowed us to air an entire episode of their series. This was several episodes ago. So so people could check out their show and see what it was all about Iliad house. They released the first episode for free time chroniclers they released their entire first episode for free. So people could check it out. So and lamplight or theater also airs on radio stations, and then they also put some episodes up on soundcloud. So there's all these different ways to sample the content before you commit your dollars. Yeah. And his kids dot net. They're still alive in an action. And I know it's a little bit. It's it's younger the stories on there are aimed at a younger audience, but still they have they. Update all the weekly shows. And there are a few companies that are on his kids dot net. That also have podcast if you have a smartphone that released their shows free. Tells for now I'm in the old school. You can still get there with his kids dot net. Though. I just checked just take a look at their program guide because the have it up there, and you can see when something is airing and check it out. Yeah. That's a good one. I didn't even think about that. So there you go Gabe, lots of different ways to check out the content. And then, you know, if if you find one that doesn't have a club is not all of them do just save up when they have a new release just grab them the digital download the season support them. We gotta support these companies who make this good stuff where they're not gonna be able to make any more. Yeah. And and if you're through with all that they're still another thing that we talked about a lot on the show, and that'll time radio, and you get a lot of that for free. That's true. So that's remain. More new old time radio. Nope. New out at all. Hopefully that answers your question there, Gabe. All right. Then we got an Email from Kevin. And this is like a running joke. I think we got going on here. Hello, ROY Andrew N J D. Just sandwiched between two and he's never I. All right here, we go get Andrew I on the last show be no it doesn't middle in the middle in this case. Yes, the middle. Hey, you know, they say about Oreos, ding, dongs twinkies and so forth. Look good stuff is in the middle. If it's the mega stuffed. Oh, yes. I'm gonna get Dr stone of eighty. I'm not a fan of too much cream in the middle of the Orioles, and I know ROY adamantly agreeing with me I side with ROY particular debate. Oh. All right to Kevin or whatever order you prefer. I'm just dropping into let you know. I thoroughly enjoy your podcast, you're reviews discussions and witty humor. Make me excited for every new episode. You pull out keep producing the show and Cuba. Thanks much. Sincerely, a name a love it lo-, Kevin. And he says since you have mentioned delete a name I have done. So love it. But I'm Chea. I almost did it at the same time. You just. I need to have that on my soundboard. And JD followed up with Kevin on this Email and Kevin also ask this question. He said I was wondering if you all have heard and or plan to review the latest, I think Jonathan park series pursuit of destiny. I have my own thoughts about these four albums and would love to hear yours and the rest of the ATC communities opinion on it opinions on it. Yeah. And the answer to that is yes, we are going to be talking about it. And that will be coming up in a in a episode very soon. So he wants to hear the ATC communities opinion. So if you want to join in that discussion before we actually do that review sit in your feedback now, and we'll work it into head episode while speaking of the ATC community my discuss account, which is the the program that we use for the commenting system on our website, actually, all of the websites in our network and family media network. My account got hat though. Yes. Australis amazing, and it's entirely my fault because I have not updated my password on that account for a long time. I have learned my lesson and that will not be happening. Again, my password now is a much more complex one. When that I do not even know him using a password management system now. So you go, that's the way. But if you received any notification Email notifications to to your comments on the blog home, do not click any of the links in how this was several days ago by the time, you're hearing this, but I do not know where those links go, and I'm not gonna find out. Don't click them, which was pretty much a good rule of them. Yeah. And the reason why added this to the episode because I wanted to mention if for any reason ever happens again, if you ever see comment by me that is only a link that was not me. I will never Jags a Lincoln there without saying something, right? And I rarely ever linked to anything anyway. But so just so, you know, if you ever see that be suspicious, let me know. And thank you so much Victoria to lead to Mike it Dominic and Austin who all reached letting me know much better that everybody tells you the nobody right -actly exactly I was very happy that everybody reached out, Victoria, Kat. Like, immediately, Victoria Lynn is on our teams, you she writes for the bookworm banquet show. And she got a notification almost immediately within about ten minutes. I was on there change my password started, deleting them, but several other people followed up because they got Email. Notifications. Saw what it was. So, but yes, thank you everybody who reached out down. Let me know. But again, if you ever see that notification, and it's just a link. Don't click it. It's it's spam. Or worse. There's no telling who knows all right N and one last Email here from Michael he said Hello ATC team. A while back. He was he's reminding us well back you said you would review down Gilead lane. This is what we call in the industry, a segue. One of those one time. Bless you, Michael what a wonderful question. Yes. And he had a few other comments in his Email. But I wanted to bring that up because yes, we did say that. Yes. We have said we were going to review chronicles of narnia. Yes. We said we're gonna get to the left behind series. We just don't have enough of the time to get to it all of this stuff. There's so much. We want wanna keep up with all the new releases. Right, MS all this great stuff that was released years ago. We still have gone through all of the focus on the family radio theater stuff. Right. So everybody was demanding more and more and more content to what we're going to give you tried give. I want to offer you there we go. And that is a reference to your heater central backstage. We talked about a little bit in the last episode, and we just want to let you know, it is going to be released available very very soon probably within just a couple of weeks. So be sure to get on the insiders list. So you can be notified right away. As soon as it's ready. I'm almost one hundred percent sure it will be available before the next episode of the show releases. So you wanna get on that list? But we wanted to give you a little bit of a taste of what you can expect. We talked about some of the things you can get in addition to extra review episodes where we go deep dive like we'd normally do on a particular production. We'll be doing those on a regular basis, but there's gonna be all these other little snippets of audio in different things that we wanted to drop out to you all the the past hold members. And so since we were talking about witnesses in this episode. We thought it would be perfect time to give you a little taste of what our initial reactions. Quickest does would sound like so that is where one of us will listen to a production and soon as we finish flip on the recorder on our phone or wherever we're at and just give our off the top of the head reactions to what we listen to. So ROY you did that for this episode of witnesses, right? That's right. Yeah. It was about JD had mentioned it's about a twenty four thirty minute show. So this is my initial quick reaction and might truck with my phone.

All right. And let's bring in Royan Andrew, and I guess I'll start with you, ROY. What do you think about the great green wool alluring metaphor without any real meaning. Literally, no wall is going to alter desert which is advancing on a cotton Antle scale. And the Suhart happens not to be advancing. It happens to be retreating with what since around two thousand eight, five people who've termed three greening of the Suhel with return of what were normal levels of rainfall, twenty thirty years ago. So you saying that this is a complete waste of time. I think they're being a bit light footed. He in saying that they're using a metaphor in and they that they properly themselves except is a bit misleading but actually captures the public imagination. If you're talking about work with farmers on their fields that's been done in Nizhny air very successfully. It's ongoing other kinds of initiatives. Yes. It's got to come back to the people and you want to know what it is you're dealing with. And we, we talk very easily about spreading sand, but desertification is much more than that. But having said that planting of trees has multiple benefits on some countries are doing. It vary affectively including China. This come on dicamba MMI.
