"My health when i wanted to be good healthy wrestler. There's difference but i obtained down a little bit. I don't think. I wanna push joy pass out but you know if i pass out you know somebody getting. We won't give you much longer than i gotta get these. Get these questions out of the way. I'm bob so to speak right now. Questions over jeff. But i apologize quite right back in the day. The legendary stories of the ala wrestling. Gm maybe slapping in the wrestling team. Football players around kind of just jump jumped into our conversations. When i was in middle school and high school and and those legendary moments of a few few wrestlers getting a little unruly now and then wrestlers will be wrestlers course mcduck maybe you have a good good story about about one of those instances there in iowa city. Well you know. There's a lot of good stories. There's some that you can tell and there's some that you can't tell but you know they're definitely wrestlers you know. You wanted to be good people so you gotta teach them What their limits are too but sometimes when they're young and a little bit foolish You know we talk. We've we brought up. We've run roy. Algiers name upswing stick with him a little bit. I used to go down to the bars every night to About twelve o'clock used to work in the front door. So i could all the rousers run out the back door but you know but but that was. That was part of my routine. Which i shouldn't really had to do what i should have had more disciplined. But they're young kids. And i'm not gonna tell them exactly what they can and can't do it's just you know they gotta learn on their own a little bit but but i had at least a double check a little bit so anyway but one time You know one of those Exits out the back door roy. Some well the actual the guy that i had somebody position that the door that was non wrestler and when i came in they would kind of have a signal for the people in the back pool having a few beers or whatever they were doing they would go out the back door. So one time royce to this last shot in on a pool ball and wait just a little extra second so we had to run off the door when you open that door and ran out. He really wasn't looking where he's going. He ran into a big tree. Knocked himself out and You know one of those things but the story is that actually he A policeman out back there and they kind of check in with him and and he says he says You okay and roy says john he goes and he says sir he says i'm going to have to check your you know. See how many beers you had. Or whatever and Roy says You don't know me because you know. Roy thinks everybody knows him. Always because you know he's pretty famous but the guy goes the guy goes you know i really don't know you. Can you give me your identification. So because of running again by this time though he hit a another big tree and that was it so they got him. I got it. He just He's that good after dark. Two trees. I sure who got the bad end of that. Those oak trees or roy royston probably probably knocked down. You know. yeah pretty tough. And this'll be my this'll be my last one. I'll let jeff talk but to the one the funniest stories i've ever heard my life was to wrestlers but this was after your coaching years..

"Last. But not least here's director into. Bdo himself allan saxe. I'm very curious about your background. And how you got into show business. I went to a graduate program at brooklyn college because i wanted to maintain my to my students status. I didn't want to go to vietnam. So i took a class in broadcasting for the hell of it. I thought it was interesting. I didn't. I was surprised that they were offering in in graduate school class in television. I always liked television. So i took that class and then i just i really like the subject so i went on for a master's degree in that in that area. Yeah and then from there i I did an internship but abc and the internship was In research and i thought that that was going to be like. I would be researching stories for different programs. Like ben casey television series. Doing something like that. I didn't realize that the research was really dealing with the ratings shares and what they call today the metrics that was my first job in broadcasting and then i kinda work my way up and got into the programming department that was the department that the the programs and That was my start. That was nineteen sixty four hours that climb into doing like the production development and the producing that you eventually do. i mean it sounds like it was pretty arduous. Journey was really planned. Although i did want to be on the creative side so when i got into the programming department. That's where i thought i would be most happy. That wasn't an easy task to get to get a job in that department. Because those were like Brandon tartikoff rest his soul so he talked about beggars and choosers and the beggars. Were the people that was selling and the chooses with people that were picking what they were buying. So that's from working at the network. I was a cheeser but that's not really where me happy. I wanted to be exactly in the production and the creation of things. So i did that for awhile. I wound up when it when i was doing research at abc. The research segue into something co program testing. So i was the person that was supervising. The program testing programs and with that was that was it was like focus groups. They had erin. Los angeles have a place called. The preview has which i think. Well it's now as hominy go through still there the network would rent the service and there would be like three hundred people sitting and watching the show the pilot and twisting dials and and that would register. It almost looked like a cauda grin. And you'd see what what part of the show. They like what they didn't like. And i was the network research guy that stayed on top of that which was again. It wasn't exactly the creative job. I wanted to get into however it did around the real understanding of what audiences who got for what they wanted so it was very satisfying. I did that for a couple of years. And then Got into the programming department. And and asked that i I created Welcome back kotter and actually got that sold and it turned into a big hit. That happened that that was like that's something i was planning. I was really fortunate that it happened. But the idea i. I sure a vacuum for school programming. They would know school shows. And i always like about juvenile delinquents. That was my then movies like the blackboard. Jungle rebel without a cause. That's what i like the best. So we wanted to develop a television series with that in mind. And that's what happened with. Welcome back kotter was interesting and doing a podcast which is About the punk scene and it was about a murder in the punk scene that i became part of and i opened up the podcast saying my first punk experience was going to see the movie blackboard django with my friends and what we did was we were like little junior gang and we walked down the street really like feeling empowered because they were ten of us and we were up to a theater on Eighty sixth street in in brooklyn was the lows orientale. And that's what blackboard. Younger was playing. I think it was. it was nineteen. Have to fact. Check me. But i think it was like fifty five and there were a couple of movies that came out that year. Rebel without a pause board younger and there was one other one but but blackboard jungle was playing that year and premiering and we're sitting up in the balcony very excited and you know what to expect other than it was a movie about the guys that i knew. This was my friends to juvenile delinquents. And the movie opened up with downbeat of rock around the clock. One two three o'clock four o'clock rock boom and when that hitch. We went crazy in the balcony. Rioted we threw things off. The dow guinea was insane. They start the movie. It was so it was so out of control and that happened across everybody of my generation. That was going to see that movie. Those riots happened across the of course the united states and probably also happened in europe to you could google that the blackboard jungle movie riots. You could see that it was. A nasal was really an important part of my my existence. What was it about that movie in that time. Why do you think that that hit with you so spectacularly always rebellious need. We got to wear black leather jackets and motorcycle boots. I mean that was what we were wearing. And that's the punks pick that up. You know twenty five thirty years later but that was in that movie. The other movie was the wild one by with ball and brando and they were wearing that that kind of clothing so it was like a rebellious kind of you know attitude and and in that movie i think was terry moore the actress. She said to brando. She said he the gang he was in this called the black rebels motorcycle club. And that's a punk band today. What are you rebelling against. And he looked at her and said what do you got. And that was the same attitude that teenagers had at that period of time. That's what jim star had in rebel without a cause. Twenty characters in In blackboard jungle. Had i related to blackboard jungle more than the others because i was going to an inner city school growing up in brooklyn so i i was relating to that but i related to all of them anything related to being juvenile delinquency interested me and in the same way. That's what drew me to the punk. World you were program developer for the norlisk tapes and i've always been fascinated by that. Was that supposed to be. Was that a pilot for a series. It was it was it was Who's in darren mcgavin was at the actor's name no that was culture check. This one was Roy royston rossana finish. Sentence is t h. I n n he has a big. Ben is He was in he was in. Yeah that was a pilot that never made the grade. I watched the recently. I have to say it still holds up really. I haven't seen it in a long time. I liked roy thin. I thought he was great. Act you know that period of time. What was trying to remember year. That was like nineteen. Seventy three seventy three. Yeah that preceded. Welcome back kotter. So that was before. I was an individual kata. I commend independent producer on. But that there. I was the program. Executive at a company called freeze them metromedia producers corporation which turned into The chuck freeze corporation. And i was the head development guy those so again. I didn't get really to pick that show. I kinda supervised the development of that. But that wasn't really my creative baby as a as the things have down the line..

It's going to be nothing but people from the box. Says share video look share videos via instagram so again now if you made a video with a music track, and you can share it on our G and not get flagged. That's powerful so Sarah. Instagram, twitter, facebook, techs, email or save camera. You do that with thriller through the rest so yeah, and it's a four point seven star, so its functionality is go look. Good right. One point that I want to throw in there and take me ten seconds this selfish of me, but I'm actually really bombed that. Shannon didn't get it like imagine then following him for ten series and every Fridays on the show. You know what I'm saying like. That would have been so dope of. If that fight medicine get too busy for the show that that's true. That's true, but I'm sure we could've squeezed. I'm sure he would have came up twice. Go ahead, do me. You have I would've liked I would liked to. How would like Shannon I know? Roy's the biggest name. Love and attention. Inches compared. Right Minis. Uh Small compared to Tyson. Is Not more competitive now. Waffles they're much just like heavyweight for good for Rio Right. In Day fifty approaching the fifties and the frame of religions is not a small frame. Though it was like a tour, middleweight, super middleweight, so traditional Cain to the light, heavyweight and heavyweight as well wasn't. It is great to stints in the heavyweight health. Few fights there so yeah, no I? Don't think size would be a problem, but. But just to close on the odd thing I noted up will be official because you have like big names in the social in those kind of platforms in the Youtube World Jake, Paul involved. They want to touch them to some kind of like trashy APP. That doesn't have the quality right. He knows the game inside out. Is Part of the game is a big NAM there, so he fees involving there? I. Guarantee. You I will be official. Now, Man I like where you were going to like doomsday like how about the fireman? I talk to us about five talk to us about the head gift. Because that's the one thing that popped up in our conversation before so I didn't like that. I've read some only now. I'm hearing head. That's Corny. Gillespie Headgear Numb. Make makes it like so in that. Interview we've. On Thursday quit e clarified that I believe that there has to be headgear because the in California. They're going to do in California. I guess it's not going to be a pro sanction. Fight so has to be an amateur boxing fight and I think for their age. Probably enforcing them or forcing them to wear headgear, which is sensible to me, but it's going to take away from the imagery of it right. You have to season Bro. Let me spend. Spinning misprint. Let me. Do. You think it's going to be a more entertaining fight. Because the fight are going to feel like they. Can you know throw a little harder because they have the head gear on? You know! You gotTA. You gotTA. Give them that they were probably negotiating that way. And that matter like I, can't hit this guy too hard right without you'll meet your the fighters. Ask you this question, don't you think after years of being programmed to spar and not compete without headgear or not not compete with headgear the way you would without that? Maybe there's like a mental thing that would prevent them from leading. No Way. I wasn't saying that I was asking that. Yeah, no, because if you look at Mike Tyson sparring when he was in his younger days, I mean he, he would not guys out. All the time is borrowed. And they were they were. They would hammer him to he he he's been knocked down. So for me for me head again. The headgear is not a problem for the fighters themselves right? You know every fight like whether you're pro on metallic day. Use aspiring with the headgear on bigger gloves, and they keep that same intensity problem is we've the for the viewers right? So the watching the viewing experience is not the same when you're watching to legends wearing headgear straight away just reverting to your mind into spiring mode on won't get once you once you get hit right, I mean look like if you're spawning right many. And and and then you go fight under the lights. You know your reaction. It's totally different when you get. When you get a under the lights, you're like hundred percent killer instinct mode I'm Kinda. Get back mine. I got a defend and. Him with something as well so it's like who's really endanger. Who really has to hold back? Is it Mike Tyson? Roy Jones Roy. Royston yo Bro. Roy's Mcginn knocked out past his prime for a long Tom so like. If. I says anything left like in terms of power, and not even skilled, just in terms of power. I think dominion. He connects flush flush Roy goes to sleep, or at least you know. His legs lock up and he looks crazy gives them because if. He might not go to sleep sleep. I think Tyson sleeps now. If his haggerty really gonNA be going hard. I think they will go, because those are two competitive legends right so your competitor stay competitive at heart, so whenever you spiring Jim when you have the head gear and the gloves. You give it your care. What don't you think? If. That was the case like here's. Here's my rationality. Okay looks like. No No, no I'm saying if that was the case that they were going to be. Competitive. Don't you think that efforts would have been made to how to get distinction now now don't get me wrong. I understand there might it might be impossible. We don't know what makes us you know. Maybe he couldn't pass the test and that's going to describe. It, we're GONNA. Make it this fool out like who's better than who grudge match like. Wouldn't it be something that would make more sense to get the fact that it's an exhibition? I think it's going to be more entertainment than nothing. I'm than. That let me tell is going to be into ten men, because you have those two legends that are good in there, and in a they, obviously past their prime and way their prime, no just buster problem way bus their prime. But.

How long you plan on going How do you envision it going where presently is a slotted in run show Because I haven't had a single conversation about Karaoke so for me just come out and say ushers nice and slow is I don't really know a little bit more mation considering I already have A. DJ SET THEIR DJ. And I need to know where this goes if I actually have the wherewithal to actually do this. Let's they're hiring a karaoke company and they generally have a big handful of songs so I don't understand why our song I understand. We WanNa have like that whole chill attitude attitude towards it. I do understand where they're coming from that. Some things need to be set in stone. What I am a little confused by is how this falls on me when no one's talked to me about anything in regards to the Carioca so let's Hash this thing out is a mean like the MC this Karaoke because this is all a means idea? These are part of the details that I needed to know. I only does anybody. Nobody knows anything I know. I know it's his bit so yes I assume he'll be there Aaron. I assume he'll be. I suggested Karaoke and I said it would be good for the Karaoke King. All right so I don't know what that means. A mean is coming or not. I don't know what's going on on Billy's a team leader right now. Because it was his idea and he has the most information. That's all the information I have. That's the most Eric needed our answers yesterday. Yeah why did he need are answers yesterday. Why is there Dan? I see Gronk and James Corden danced with the Laker girls. Last night and Lakers. We could get this done with the heat heat right. I WanNa dance with the girls. The golden oldies. You Go. Hey I mean. I don't think you could hang with the golden oldies. I've seen I couldn't. I could not hang with the golden oldies if I had to this. I don't know I couldn't do it. You want to try. Let's do it to hang with the golden oldies like on a Saturday night or no no like on the dance floor. I could not keep up with the oldies. I think I want to do both. I WanNa dance them and then hang out them afterwards. What's a website for Maas Miami? It's changed so many times as a laboratory brothers I love it. Torn it's Moss Lebatardshow Moscow laboratory dot com. I tried that have a Typo all right. So it's Masataka and Moss Miami if you WANNA see US sing. That's that's really excited. Well the thing is I didn't want to like have a DJ set. That followed that when Eric reach out to me about my DJ set. I'm like I want to be the first thing because made as on this cordless for one or on card and this Karaoke thing I think would be very fun so I was like. I'll open the night I don't want any the of I don't WanNa be following any of this but I am. I also following it by being part of the Karaoke. How many songs do I have to perform? I would think to to watch arbitrary. Sali's make it up by team captain. Everybody has to do seventeen songs. Serpentine is I think very Muslim calls coming. That's what they mentioned on the air last week that he's got to participate in the domino tournament. Comment you send a song to eric yet. Is he wasn't Karaoke but I know he wasn't. CC'd wasn't upset at him for not getting back there in a timely manner manner. I'd like to see Dan try so this is in the win. Would I knew we were looking at a different venue. The VINNIE for this is the winwood factory I know Roy has the most information in on this venue. Yeah I did a walk through by the way I'm handling arts information I really Roy Royston having I'm only handling one aspect which is the art. Where's the Karaoke happening? No you did a walk to yes yes you want. Yawkey was mentioned a meter so I've got to be on the main stage. I can only assume that would be. Yes the stage is at the side of the building. They're shameful. Is there more than one stage. Yeah there's a back room Outdoors not outdoors inside. But there's a deck outside. What ignore him okay? Perfect I just noticed that like the the bio how they promote the DJ is just copy pasted from my first EJ. Because it ends with this will be his DJ. This is not your job promoting this event gi come to the event. It'll be blinding. It's almost sold out to you. Better get your tickets quick. Yeah and there's like the poppy domino tournament do we know. What the prizes are this year? No no I do not meet and greet with billion Roy. I doubt that's that's it. I WanNa play in the domino tournament before I would kind of go to alison for this stuff. And she's not here so like I don't even know if I'M GONNA list to get in. I don't know who's handling handling list. No nobody came up to me about that. It's GonNa be fun. It's GONNA be awesome. Mayday different may well. It's the same. Mayday Act yeah. It's a mayday insane. I'm I'm not even like this is not sarcasm at all made as like really good and I look look on our really good. Yeah yeah their grammy nominated so come maddened by some art everybody by some. Please thank you. I'll buy some art if you tell me when while billy's how many songs I have to perform rolling through this website you seem to be top billing ahead of the ban you just said and made it okay but They should definitely be in terms of perception and reality. Honey Bee appear for thirty to forty five minutes. I had no idea thirty to forty five minutes of Karaoke. Each a A lot four. I'm Oh I'M GONNA do one song do one song I'm tat man like. Dj thing takes. I'm DJ in Coconut Grove. It sounds like all one song at some point right. I mean it's Jane Coconut Grove on Friday Coconut Grove. It's a warm upset some longest. I've ever Dj. Yeah you'll be there for the round. The bar that we were at on Saturday afternoons heard ends wedding. So that place. No no they used to be at that place. They switch around tavern which is a tighter fit but should should be careful not everything everything should be made into a compound word. Tickets are just twenty five bucks are are you kidding me. That's cheaper than last time. I think thirty but wait a second. There are only twenty five bucks. I mean I would pay I pay forty bucks to see Mai Cong. Yeah just made a and I got local sport. Qana this Amazing Karaoke Boy Roy. Doing the art happy in charge of the art. Yeah that whole Hey Mazda maybe take like is it GonNa be taking photos with people either painting art that you can buy or him on that and I know why it's cheaper this time means going to be there. That's probably what it is. You're handling artists where he must've been all painting not north. No have you asked him yet. We have not asked him which acts some email chain like. Dan would be naked at some point. It'd be naked I believe that slotted at eleven thirty PM. Dan's just take off his clothes and get painted by Hori Mazda..

"It's the shipping container making radio on Monday. That's right you know making Monday. Get it and they do have 'em even those is a podcast. The Hell we're doing we're talking. We're talking to you on a Monday. Right we leap. It was not long enough. That is true. I feel like we should. We should get to a four day week. Which Danny's the work in next time this Howard stern motto? I know he does three days but Dan you know here's a here's in my experience in recent experience in working with Chelsea football club. Yeah European people think we're insane. Why for how much we work? What's up there in the united? How did we work so much? They take like four-month holidays if someone has a child and a year here and thankfully I've recently seen that are great company Busy Walt Disney Company which is just as everyone knows the best company in the world recently went from three weeks paternity for people like me who didn't actually have the baby. Yeah but had something to do with two years ago I only have two weeks otherwise step. Here's the thing. It was a double whammy because I was still under the impression that we only got two weeks and I've only taken one so far. Yeah so so I was like. Wow this is great. I get an extra week but that wasn't even like the meat of the email email turns around and says not only Mike. Did you have three. which which was? Wow this is incredible but now you can take up to eight weeks as long as you had a baby in two thousand nineteen checks calendar realizes this works out for me. I forwarded that email to my wife and we're getting going humor. Oh dose yeah so thankfully a more European model now. I don't think I can possibly take all eight weeks of this paternity leave because Amen. It's a lot and also I don't WanNa fall in the trap of using the paternity leave to not spend time with my baby and because it's a very easy trap to fall vacation. Yeah getting to know my baby. Aby via facetime Beecham Kabo got three games in ten days in Boxing Day fixtures. Fly over missing stuff. Actually but Alan to reclassify like just off time to go to London taking a game certainly can't put paternity because babies. I'm coming what what a fun weekend we had was it and you can tell by how fun it is by US being the only one here. Oh Yeah Billion Roy. They rage age. Oh yeah and they just haven't stopped so they're gonNA come in at some point still just in there. I'm going oh I want to know wedding Roy. That is such a good point. Wedding Roy is is such a different. Roy Yeah I would almost say it's just four drinks in Roy. Yeah I just like he's deal. Yeah he's I don't understand why and now he's GonNa come in today. It'd be all South Roy Jerome. He's GONNA resent us. Sorry about this segment acid. You just everyone else says the word you just have that topic's that's he's GonNa be so mad. He's like listen to this. Don't worry no he never does. That's awesome to it. We had a fun weekend and by we I mean Dolphin fans not really. It was a terrible weekend again right. I mean they lost. We're back on track your game because every time the dolphins would up there back in this buffalo would immediately do something that that would would shut the door and there was like five of those sequences but chicken grant. How about that yeah? It's good. You told me that Wilson grant were so good. Yeah last year. And they had their moments and Albert Wilson has not had seems like. He's lost a little something after that injury. Yeah he had the one touchdown against Pittsburgh and then I don't think anything else in that that game and really hasn't done anything all season this tank for two thing I can't they. We kick it on the same page with it because we won two in a row which is anti tank for two and then we finally get back to losing and he hurts his hip. Yeah I think that was the dolphins result from the weekend is the dislocated hip another season. What do we do now and injury for to A? I don't know what I'm supposed to want right now as a dolphins fan like I I guess at this point they can win a couple of games like what's the difference between two and four war like they're gonna be now like right now. I saw there there at the fourth. Pick this season ended today that have the fourth pick. It's it's obviously a scary injury history because the the a ankle now there seems to be a trend with his ankle. And you see the dislocated hip now is. It's not seized like I I. I saw potential sees Zizou career. I know that I saw I read some stuff. Could it be careers screaming in agony a dislocated hip and now he's in a hotel a hospital bed playing the UKULELE. Yeah and he was. He was dancing in a good mood. And I think he's going to be. That's a lot of surgeries already. Yeah this dude is had before. He's has made it to the pros and that hip injury is. He's he's not going to be the same after having that hip surgery. It's just a matter of how we can recover. Yeah does it really change anything with his throwing motion or how he goes by we. You realize once you start getting one lower leg injury and he's starting to play through that other injuries just tend to pop up because the rest of your body overcompensate. I'm not sure this is that because he got hit to the ground and his his his hip dislocated but I. I always was like everyone's overreacting to the ankle thing. You gotTA draft to a number one. This one's especially scary. Yeah this is a an especially scary injury in my opinion but I think teams that are picking number one if two has a if the physical checks out and he has a positive recovery from the surgery and all goes well I think teams might be more inclined climbed to listen to any offers from Miami. That has a Bevy of trade assets to move up so if you're still dead set onto a get them later so then don't take maybe i. I don't think it's got Herbert next. 'cause like assuming borough goes one to Cincinnati. I've been I've been on the record saying I'm not a fan and of Justin Herbert but I will say he threw an absolute friggin dime this weekend. They'll take if you yeah. It was a gorgeous pass. It was a bomb but I I've watched that do too much and not been impressed by him to just get it but he can. He can improve hell. Joe Boroughs certainly the improved. Joe Borough is different quarterback that he was last year. I thought it was pretty decent last year. You'd be amazed how little I've watched Justin. Herbert there's been times where their games been on. And I've closed my Is I'm serious I have seen. I think I've seen him make one. Maybe the Auburn Week. One game. Maybe actually I never want to play a week zero ever again yeah. I liked week zero a lot as an area as an experience like all eyes on that game. It was really cool if we win that game. You Price Oh yeah this whole college football season with his three by weeks. Yeah like the University of Miami are dealing with right now. It's just it's I can't do it anymore. I wanted to stop luckily for you and your browns. I feel like this thing is probably going to steal the shine. I feel that we won't be you you to your point though. We talked last week whether it would make the view. I don't think it made the view but it was on. SNL really the same thing killing open. SNL Goes sports though was it. SNL is not the same as the view. I don't think he watched the view. That's true I feel like I would have seen tweets. I don't I don't know oh I don't know if our audience watches view. If you know if the view covered the myles Garrett controversy please let us know myles Garrett has actually appealing his suspension. The thing that he's appealing is the fact that it's indefinite yeah the NFL's just saying that to like save face that he'll be back dixies. Yeah Yeah I want to seem like figure that it is I am again. I am in full agreement that this is the right suspension trying to defend his actions. I'm just trying to point out the inconsistencies in that there is precedent for things like this. Yes the Albert hanes worth clear to the face which was vicious. Yeah Five Games. Antonio's Smith taking off Richie Incognito home and smacking Richie Incognito in the face flush that I got two preseason games and one regular season game I say that instead of saying three games because two preseason games come on yeah so for myles scared to lose the regular season which will inevitably prevent Cleveland from ruining the table. Because hell they're not good enough with myles Garrett. They were to run the table but that's just a nail in the coffin to say that he's out for the playoffs on top of that too is okay okay. I it just feels like we're making this up Which is fine but I think he actually has grounds for them to say okay six game or at least say ten games but the whole indefinite thing is? I think they'll just say the rest of this. I feel that's fair. Yeah that's and I feel like doc. Why is it Mason Rudolph and we don't need to go down this whole path again and do the Friday show again but he should be getting something he got fine? It's ridiculous because he I know like I'm not saying that myles Garrett because obviously he overreacted but he went after Myles Garrett. I just feel like these should be getting something more than turned it up. But whatever and I can't talk about it because is everything that I say. This is up with pass. Interference reviews. Did you see that. That's going to be a talking point today. Maybe David but like man. Yeah well Dr Tocchet. Actually on Dr K.. One yeah he wants to talk about this defensive pass interference non-call in the NFL dot K.. You're on the air. Yeah I mean they said honestly. Let's get rid of the rule because if that's not fastener affairs I don't know what is take. I haven't heard no. They should get rid of the rule. Here's actually what I was proposing housing. I had I was watching some games with Meena yesterday and I think part of it is the fact that the coaches can challenge. Yes I think if the rest were in charge of it themselves and got a buzzer and they were just correcting themselves. They'd be more likely to change some of the calls on the field but I don't I think they want to run the risk of a coach. Lording over the fact that they got something wrong I feel like they're further incentivize to throw it and you don't know what you're talking about. I got that call right coach so I think we should take that power away from the coaches specifically on that call. Because we we've already seen it's it's an absurd thing. Yeah they even said clear and obvious and you can't get more clear and obvious than that instance in in Baltimore and honestly you can make a solid argument that that ruined possibly the game of the weekend because if you scores of the game is a totally different person in New York like a third. I know he's not third party. You have a river on terrible like it should be as someone who is not connected to these rafts. Sky Judge Sky Judge. Yeah one person dedicated to each game but watching the monitor that data former referee when through that whole system knows all the rules but doesn't have to be all buddy buddy with all the former people so you know that they're not just going to automatically take the side judge. Let's go replace river on with river. Roy royston charge Roy Rogers all the reviews and makes the assessment. What do you think? I'm just wondering about getting paid a lot. I'm in all Right River Roy River. Roy's names not River Ron. By the way right it's Al Riverine lasting his last name river on. I know I was listening. I know that Roy River Roy I know his first name wasn't river that's thought thought no. You're confusing with riverboat. Run no no no. I Know River on Roy. The joke read. That's they can't all be.

Muslims name Pete Y'all beat the ladies who are going to start their own restaurant got fury's not furry fury series Karasu they've been on vice munchies they're amazing guests that they you know they're in the process of opening up a a new restaurant right and so to make money and stuff they do these pop up restaurants right so I went to one last night Bushwick and the food was like incredible what kind of food is it it's like I can't even call it Asian food or Japanese food Japanese inspired shit they'll be like hints of like Asian Sauce and whatever but like stay always interesting salads mixed with like me dressing and all this stuff and like I don't know I'm not really used to fancy like a dining shit these courses and all that but it was like family style and it was amazing I can't wait to they open their thing but we were having a nice conversation about like you know what it takes to open Russia because you and I always joke that it's harder to be a successful rush Oma God and to be a comedian they work so much I mean like people who work in restaurants work crazy not even just an hour this but like the success rate and when you fail right because if we fail we we sacrificed his time and just some some costs of not having a better job I guess but they're putting in like all their savings by the that's the thing you don't think about when you walk past like a frozen in your Guja yogurt shot you're like dude that was somebody's fucking saving somebody's retirement yeah you know what my kids don't have to eat yeah red mango which fucking is out of business now never read Mango Yogurt Face the Yogurt face frozen yogurt and I remember that I was I was right when you moved here yogurt boys yeah I'm here and I had a yogurt ahead when I landed on the plane and I was like delicious this will never go out and then cupcakes game cupcakes words ain't Magnolia cupcakes from crumbs right now we're we're where are we going to kind of like in in phases Abobo face maybe I'll kind of like yeah a lot of a lot of green tea everything I mean we're in an avocado apocalypse oh yeah we got the white girl single handedly destroying the the thing I wanted to bring up and just how you is that they were talking to me about the investor process is I don't know this nobody wants to invest in restaurants don't make money unless you are going to be global force like David Chang's vision right right I don't know if that's what he envisioned in the beginning but the reason why somebody wants to invest in an APP is because eventually awesome everybody's scalable right but a restaurant you know she's trying to make something that's like twenty four seats seats right so nobody wants investment that's what I asked her like who invest in that and she said it's like rich cool dudes who want bragging rights they want cool to have one yeah so they wanNA bring their dates there and just hang out there and then whatever the two hundred K. that they're donating or investing it doesn't mean anything to that person I it's okay if I write so that's why they're having a hard time finding investors and stuff and they know like David Chang and all those people so like he's kind of helping him out a little bit advice here and then they're like you could do my podcast once you guys start stuff but like damn like the they told me how much they're trying to raise and I'm not gonNA throw them out appropriate but it's a lot of fucking money they're opening something for twenty four people right it's like small ones I was just thinking like how can you know like how do you fucking do it how do these people fucking do it dude rich daddy's I think yeah yeah rich daddy's and then you know that's why like when you do finally get it going you gotta cut all the costs and so if you do everything you got it right that's why you're the shaft you're also like making like you're like fixing the toilet your fuck in building shit yeah all that stuff it has to be you ain't got no money and you can't be like sucking anymore rich Guy Dick restaurants open I'm I know someone and I know a couple of Texas yes they're trying to start one and it's funny because he used to work in advertising so he kind of like understands he's like put the deck other shopping he's been shopping around yeah and so it's not made it no so he you know that's going okay but like to like make the Tom you know it's like six figures in order to like just get a space decorated right and just for like you need some runway for six months which you know what I'm saying you're going to lose money hand over fist yeah a long time unless you like I think that's why everybody is like you know you kind of start with food truck because then at the end if you don't make any money still got a truck you know got a caller on this show so shout out to all the restaurant entrepreneurs out there man for those guys now after having that conversation and it's really risk at all I it it's the one it's profession that makes comedy look stable uh-huh Whoa I'm not a chef my mom's like okay well okay well are you the kitchen okay okay okay okay keep going doing your hair but anyway I wanNA support those ladies so check out a fury series NYC is their instagram handle handle they're probably gonNA open within the next I don't know sixty six months twelve months fire but they do all these pop up shows and it's very very good the food is super good I got recognized event that's why I'm plug in recognized you I don't know some guy named Gene he was like texting his girlfriend and he's like you I think this is coming from Asian that Asian and then he showed me all the tax and she was like Oh my God oh my God oh my God I love it love the tension really love it often was there so I couldn't really anything nice but shouts shell so my ladies lady fans out there okay let's let's get into our guest speaker everyone with a lot of hands of hands fans affairs sounds like hands so many maybe on his head situation I guess they were so good had to have him came to you know because he's he's he's a famous person Oh here's didn't think he would show up but he That was the trouble there ROY head in that series around was the bellwether of this started to change on repeat. Yeah. And that's why Lee started changing I think when it comes down to it be mentally tough to stretches. You know, what I'm saying, you know, ROY its ups and downs and his battles. I think George hill which wanna best shoes I ever seen. You know, you can really make me shots. I think. Frank did a great I think Frank did a great job, and you guys he's a great players coach for because no matter what they're supposed to do. Started. He went down with the ship. And and he's still believing guys. You know, what I'm saying George hill. He's great Fender great player. Great person. Great individual. You know, there are so many times where you might sobbed out or did anything stop George has shut up. Same thing went on ROY encouraging vigil everything else like that. I think there were called Darrow close to bench, ROY. I think I think we're ahead is zero point game in that series. And the noise got real out. Like, I said man is our sharp you go from being like to me like at that time. I I've been on Philly for forever. So when it chain dance with somebody saying thinking bad about me nowadays, I still don't trip because it's like, I'm so I'm so used to negatively I think when it came down from when you started being loved counter being a hate in a bit change in a sense. And you start you really have to have the skin. And I think sometimes we all nine since I was going on surrounding stuff. I don't I don't think if air well and. Man. You can't go up and yesterday. He LeBron using stews we cut our rotation. And you know, guys like, you know, guys like the media. I might make you believe something any real Anna sense light that pays for teams. Unbelievable. But Brandon down Brian Bennett. Yeah. Conference finals, and and you know, obviously, we did we took him like five or six games every time every time it was definitely tough series by things. Sometimes. You know, I think sometimes it was just. Things are supposed to happen. Unfortunately that summer summer, Paul braces. Yeah. Last Evenson gone gone. The ROY Royston ROY still Georgia Georgia in having a great year next year. But you know, you you lose your two youngins and David west is getting older another year older any lease it, actually. I mean, just you know, what I'm saying? It's tough to it's tough to keep it up keep it up pause during that time, you know, what I'm saying. But I personally outside looking in because I definitely watching most of the play offs bench. I think like from a from a thought from intellectual standpoint, I think a lot of the outside noise. Plays a lot in it. Interesting. Interesting. There's I mean, we don't want. I don't wanna go down a whole Pacers. But it was let's talk about LeBron. Lebron seems to have a thing for you. See seems to like to go at you think. So yes, Brian good. Do what is what's going on with that? No, I don't think he's ever gone at me like crazy. I've always I saw people because he always get some pretty much like even get up and down type rep people. I don't like him. I like, whatever. Right. Every time. I see Brian.
