"It's just But so this picture was going around a corner. God, of course, and ended up flying all the way to Australia. 8000 Miles. The exhausted pigeon landed in Australia. And they thought this is a U. S pigeon. We've got to kill this thing because it might be carrying all kinds of diseases like the Copen. During. It poses a direct bio security risk to Australian bird life and our poultry industry, said the agricultural Department. We need to execute this'll pigeon. Boy, So they put it in a cell in a Hannibal Lecter mask and started to discussing it. Well, well, they were going to kill one of our great pigeons. We can't have that the pigeon could now coup in peace. After his marking as an American almost got him killed the emancipated pigeon. Um Which was spotted December 26 has been gone going on for a while was wearing a leg band that identified it is a racing pigeon, who had left Oregon and October they assumed the pigeon named Joe. Congratulations. Yeah, named after me because of my, you know, my flying in my cooling. They think it hitched a ride on a cargo ship. It didn't fly the whole way. Oh, so it's not the greatest pitcher of all time. It's Rosie Ruiz. Google it kids. It's a It's a cheater. It's a cheater pigeon. Go ahead and kill it. Australia Anyway, I've changed my mind on this, some with the Aussies. The number on the leg band actually belongs to the American Blue Bar Pigeon, which appears gray, not white and brown like Joe. He said. Qatar counterfeit bird bands are becoming increasingly common in step with the resurgence of pigeon racing. I'm sorry, Can you say that sentence again? Increasing counterfeit pigeon bands are becoming increasingly common in step with a resurgence in pigeon racing. One bird sold for $1.9 Million.2 months ago. Great Scott Is that too? Like some Arab oil shake or what? Huh? So it Zubak. They think I'll be Dang. That's like you know what? We won't learn something here. I advocated war with Australia yesterday. That was hasty. I admit it. We probably should not declare war on one of our closest allies on Earth or Australia. I apologize. Wow. So pigeon racing has said had such a resurgence in there some one month with so much money involved. People are making fake bands that they put on a pigeon so that they can sell it to someone. Right. I'll be damned. Right. And then race cheater, pigeons. Unbelievable Gonna get involved in this. It's like, you know, you go to the pig races at the state Fair and in one of the pigs looks suspiciously like a thoroughbred, but it's got a band around his hoof that says, Pig. I mean, this is that's dirty pools that $2 million pigeons was sold to someone in China. So I guess it's big in China, the pigeon racing income inequality in China so we can move on from this stupid story. Does anybody have any concept of what? Pigeon races? How they work anything, cause I don't I actually don't you have any idea? Yeah, I think I think they're like homing pigeons that know how to go home. And so you take them all a distance. You turn him loose and see which one gets home first. That's it, But they have a vague recollection of reading something 15 years ago. I have no idea and doesn't get back because it flies faster. Just smarter or come out too. It's we're both sure. Gotta go and get by on its wits, which means that really the pigeon that it's dried on a freighter. Because it had always wanted to see Australia is a very clever pigeon indeed. And I've changed my mind again. And I'm angry of the Aussies for threatening this great and clever bird, this American bird. So pigeon racing is a sport with a single starting gate and 1000 finish line. So they take the pigeons away from home. I guess an equal distance needed haven't release and then they figure out they just time who gets back to their wait a minute. You said a single starting gate and 1000 finish lines. That's the opposite of what you just described. This is the opposite of what I describe. No. Well, there finish line would be the home. The pigeon lives that I guess, but you'd have to have the similar distance or do they? Maybe they divide by, you know, come up with some speed. You know what's really interesting is I don't care about the answer. I find myself in situations like that a lot where I really like. I'll be googling something or whatever watching something, and I realized I don't care about this. What am I doing? No matter how this turns out, it doesn't matter that may All right, exactly. And I believe we're at one of those moments now. Grim news, But we got to talk about it. So refrigerated trucks are arriving in L A, because so many people are dying from the covert at the same time that they're throwing out. Vaccine because they can't get their act together on the whole equity thing. You have one more pigeon related. Yeah, no, I I've solved it. I figured it out so I don't care. It is not based on the time. The racing pigeons are the pigeon who reached the top velocity. So the fastest so it's not about the distance is it? Did you? How quickly was the dominator on him? No. They can calculate based on time and when they arrived at their hill, don't care. Oh, my God. Who the hell Okay. Thank you, Peter. Yes, more annoy. Armstrong and Getty..

"Is it taking this long for me To think of this? Joe Biden. Rosie Ruiz of the 2020 election. Huh? Yeah, Several people have mentioned that you know Rosie Ruiz was the woman who claimed that she was the female finish. The first she won the female Boston Marathon in 1980. And as you cross the finish line, everybody saying she doesn't look very buff. She doesn't look like she's been running 20 miles a day for the last year and a half. And the fact is she hadn't been running 20 Miles a day. She took the green line for most of the Boston Marathon, and then she just came up out of the subway and rejoin the race and was the winner and it really is an apt analogy. I think he, Joe Biden rejoin the race and suddenly was declared the winner. Are we? Anthony? Bounty calling? I don't know why you keep accusing me of lying about face masks on the last person who would ever tell a tall tale. But Yes. This, the CDC announced that wearing a mask would protect the wearer of the mask. And today, the largest study that's been done yet from Denmark shows that there is no Extra added protection from wearing a mask for the wearer of the mask it may it may help the person on the Who's on the other end, but it doesn't help the person wearing the masks. But how would help the person on the other end of the other end is wearing a mask? I don't know. I'm just reading what was in the New York Times that I figured they're putting the best possible spin on it. And it it seemed to indicate to me that wearing a mask was was worthless. Although The CDC said that you should be wearing masks, so there's yet another indication that it's worthless if the CDC said it right Right now in the United States. People should not be walking around with masks. I believe him. I believe I'm going with Dr Fauci on that one. They Charlie Parker keeps saying Go with what Dr Fauci says. Okay, That's what he said. No masks, its virtue, signaling I don't Don't need any virtue, signaling Trump line is brought to you by Matthews Brothers,.

"Just be told they're giving up on the season completely golden vision with you know the new arena. They probably still made a good amount of money this year. A A team like Cleveland OR CHARLOTTE. Are they missile little differently about that? The only reason for these teams to come back is to satisfy those regional outlet obligations which are not inconsiderable. I mean you have to deal with that at some point the money you're bringing in from these local networks but you know if it was. I think it was like fifteen games. I get it but it's really not going to be. It's going to be five. Maybe six games at best. And that's only if this thing turns a corner very quickly in the next three or four weeks so I say just go and and completely shut down by the way the Lakers might. Lakers are short on cash. Is You know right? Ppo loans. I would just love. Obviously this rolling. I know that the Lakers were not the only team in the League to consider this. This was some that went around and be front offices and was discussed amongst different teams. I would love to know how they came to a consensus that applying for this was a good thing that the story by the way is the Lakers applied for a loan and received alone under that paycheck protection program that the government put out primarily to satisfy and help small businesses. The Lakers by the way are not small business. Four point four billion dollar enterprise is valued by Forbes and they asked for and received a a loan in the amount of four point. Six million dollars. I mean I just WANNA know row on who thought that was a good idea. I would love to meet that person who thought that was a good idea. I could not believe it and I'm glad that they were like rightfully shaved for it. Also who like how? Many people on the Lakers right now could come up with four point six million dollars. The Lakers really needed it. Like how many people were associated with the Lakers organization a humming hugh who sits sit courtside? Would just give the Lakers. Four point six million dollars right now password. Ice Cube would consider it. He's such a huge Laker Fan. I bet you the Lakers like hey cue. We need four point six million dollars. He'd be like sure here. You go the fact that they applied for those. The some they received. Sony just absurd things about that story. I'm glad that the Lakers were publicly. Shamed into giving that money back. It's like Lebron receiving stimulus. Check by. It's right it it just is is completely insane to me and they did deserve to get whacked for that both publicly. That's happened in football whether or not you know other teams have been doing it before or anything like that but Yeah I don't know if I'm I wonder how it all went down if you're the giants like do you call Daniel Jones and be like. Hey just keep your mouth shut about this. We're trying to get some extra picks we love you. Even though you're coaching won't say your first name In public anywhere I don't know this is the whole thing just seems like Wacky to me. This would have weird. What a weird sport we cover. I don't think Joe Judge is making that call. I think he might like the idea that it would. You know make Daniel be a little on edge you know really pushing for this virtual offseason program. But maybe like they've got all the call on the side be like. Hey you know head. Coach isn't going to say it but there's nothing to worry about here still still in full bloom. Love with full bloom love. Yes well how would you react if someone said they were in full? Has anyone ever said there in full bloom love with you? Connor full bloom love with me. I'm just trying to think like how I would react. If someone said that like might vomit I am I am less like I'm not good at seat now. I'm trying to find a way to say this the correct way without like maybe in like you're the first time dated someone like sixth graders seventh grader. Whatever it was if if that person showed a a great deal of outward affection that always creeped me out. That scared me. Because I don't know why maybe there's like a psychological backing to that but if someone told me that they were in full bloom love with me. I would probably probably back down definitely glad we're in agreement on that. Connor. That's right sports and scandals. What more could you ask for every week on? Hall of Shame. "Ottawa woman james left the second and third degree burns when she was absolutely engulfed in flames at a springtime dinner party last year hosted by cody sisi and his common law wife and cici's now being sued for eight million dollars in damages the twenty five year old by the name of hana angle and and she suffered burns to thirty five percent of body after an incident on may ninth last year involved in outdoor table top fireplace at sea stitz ville home home and i guess the deal was this is all according to the lawsuit now that cici's girlfriend has this outdoor tabletop fireplace that i guess ran out of fuel but i think the burner must still been going so. She's got this little squirt squirt bottle. That's filled with liquid ethanol and she decides squirt it into the fireplace to get it going again but the flame had not been extinguished and so i guess the the fluid that was jettisoning from the bottle catches fire the bottle itself catches fire you're in so cici's girlfriend kind of goes and panics and throws it away and it lands either near or on <hes> hannah angle l. and she suffered. She's just like immediately inflames or close catch fire. She's on fire and about thirty. Five percent of her body was burned and so now now the <hes> we had heard about this last month but it is now gone to a lawsuit stage of eight million dollars is not crazy. Oh my god god oh my god. I've never heard of this before. What what an absolutely horrible story well. I'll give a shit about about the whatever the fallout is from legally oh my god that poor girl who got burnt and c._c.'s wife or girlfriend see married married yep. She wasn't married john she would know there is a common law relationship partnership on so she was not burned. I don't believe what i mean. Oh my god. I don't even know how to comment on something like that about <hes>. I couldn't think of anything worse. You know that that c._c.'s poor poor wife sort of natural <hes> little mind lapse rate on on <hes> squirting off yeah just i mean it's a brutal accident for sure but the lawsuit alleges the incident was caused quote unquote entirely by the individual or the combined and negligence of the defendants and it claims that thomson mrs again c._c.'s common law partner and didn't know how to properly operate a fireplace ace disregarded all the warning labels failed to take safety precautions failed to warn the guests of the danger failed to read instructions or allegedly squirted liquid ethanol onto through an open flame good. Even you know and this is like okay so even if that's all true it's cody c._c. Was being sued here and he had nothing to do with it. Really it's just a bad accident but i understand. All the legal costs that go into this. The lawsuit also alleged c._c. Himself <hes> is guilty of negligence for for allegedly also not knowing how to properly operate the fireplace failing to read instructions failing to understand safety precautions failing to prevent his girlfriend from refilling the fireplace with ethanol final while the flame was low and ignoring warning labels basically he otherwise breached his duties as an occupier of the premises yeah the only <hes> maybe a little too early to to make that comment but i've always been had bad timing but this sort of thing you know. It's a horrible horrible accident right. It's a horrible accident. The girls going to regret that cici's partners going to regret that for the rest of her life. You're not talking about minor burns here thirty five percent of your body and sounds to me like it's it's going to you know she's maimed for life maimed for life looks like it's mostly like on the neck and shoulder and upper body area terrible so what i don't like steve when you when you fill in the details of this story and the lawsuit is i don't. I don't think he has to blame at all by the sounds of it. It's hard to point fingers. I mean it's we're talking about two adults are they joined at the hip in the blame department because somebody did something dumb what we share house with this person. That's on me right right now. We hadn't brought it up now. Because i think people who are going off in my head people going. Oh this perec's incentives insensitive jerks and i don't want to come across that is because i feel terrible for everybody. In the whole thing <hes> ken so rosie ruiz in the newest she passed away at the age of sixty six and she is certainly one of the most infamous athletes we've we've ever seen because she was pretty much as an athlete goes a nobody but she decided that as a poser she wanted to become an athlete and the boston marathon back in nineteen eighty she won the thing at least we thought so this keep in mind is is well before anybody had the little computer chips kind of on their shoelaces their sneakers so there was really no way to track it other than of visually oh he crossed the finish line first you win and so i guess her deal was that with a boat i don't know half a mile left in the race. She standing there with the rest of the crowd crowd the side of the street and the sidewalk and watching and waiting and i guess she didn't really realize that no woman had passed yet because it with men passing at this stage. I guess you thought well i guess everybody's going by but not one woman had passed by yet and she had no idea that she decides she jumping the race and finish it off off. She didn't wanna win. Apparently she told someone years later they say no one was more surprised than me about winning the thing. I just wanted to finish anyway so so she finishes i even though you know her. Resting heart rate is like above thirty beats higher than the average world class marathoner across the board or like she has a bigger legs like a little chunky in the legs there for someone who's a fricken like just ran the third fastest time any woman has ever run at a marathon on right and i guess she done the same thing the new york marathon like six months earlier. She took the subway from this to hear the start line and got right near the finishing. No one even noticed that one because she didn't win. I think that was her intent in boston but she accidentally one right right. You know what i gotta. Gotta admit steve. I remember hearing that when it happened. <hes> whatever that is thirty thirty thirty years ago thirty seven years ago or something when when all design and i'm twenty thirty nine years in twenty and in one thousand nine hundred eighty and the subway deal i gotta admit steve i'm sort of i always when i hear stuff like that harmless. You you know we were just talking about rural breaks for people to get into the hall of fame. They should have the cheating hall of fame okay they should have. They should have the hall of fame for people who come up with a really clever idea how to cheat else because hilarious when i heard the scam i'm like that's that's fantastic. I.

I mean, if you've run Boston, or you know about it. It's got hop downhill from Hopkinton. And then you have the heartbreak hill. I mean, just read your legs. It's a really tough course in this guy, obviously to do that. He was not going to not finish. You know, he was going to do whatever you had to do if you have to roll across the line if we ever had a Boston marathon where they've been so many side stories and angles and different things. We're still talking about Rosie Ruiz member, she hopped on the subway or was that New York now that was that was spas. Now that Boston read through the bushes or something she cut off like ten miles. She crossed through like Lord and Taylor like that was the story of of this year. But, but this particular marathon, you mean like we've had so many side stories coming for this one. They raise more money than I didn't know so much charity. Money was raised for a marathon. Really is crazy. I can't even tell you who won. No, I feel. I'm sorry. We had the photo finish. The now is the two guys you want by seconds finish. They were sprinting it was a Kenyan and Ethiopian I think the Kenyan one I will tell you the men are hoping to break the to our time they got close to ours. I think it was two hours and seven minutes chanting to a six so that is nuts. Isn't that? Crazy. House a human capable of that. I ran into fifty two that would be like fifty two. It's an hour. I'd have to come and you were probably flying. Do you run that far? I just don't get that fast. Your bill. Some people are Bill just I can run the same pace for a long time. But I can't run really fast. So if you want to chase even catch me, but but the longer I go the better get some people are built that way. The open. Yeah. That I'm me unless somebody's chasing me slow twitch muscles. No twitch. So that's the website fifty WT AL dot com that Moore coming up to ECU.

Tell us other forms of marathon cheating, please I did not realize that marathoning had drug meals the same way that that cocaine does. Yeah. It absolutely have been host. You know cases, when I just right about there is a six year old man who was trying to sell his bed until the two twenty three year old female who was much faster than him. She ran a fast time and he committed that time in order to enter the Boston marathon. Now, we caught on it's not going to be running. But that kind of thing. So that happens all the time or people carrying multiple bids across I had a travel agent who out of France who was selling packages for the Boston marathon anytime have him on video carrying across five different bids. So you have five runners at the same time he this guy with a clipboard walking across the finish line. So yeah, it's very interesting in again, I come come across this kind of thing unless worse every week every day. Have you ever come across a serial bid for jer that's just the bane of your existence. I I have. Actually.
