"Your critical infrastructure on five G. and it gets shut off all of a sudden that goes dark show more than ever given the number of devices that are going to be part of this network. We need to build security by design nine when we architect the hardware and software and that's been the subject of a good deal of discussion because right now Chinese companies like like. Wow Waiting Z.. T. E. R. ahead of most Western companies in terms of their ability to build that install hardware. We're in software for five G. at the scale you would need for it to be really operational and that raises questions about whether giving Chinese companies. He's that kind of commanding position. In the infrastructure. Technology would not only create the opportunity to engage in theft theft of data but could also allow the Chinese in some circumstances to actually dial back where turned down the effectiveness of the networks folks. Where do you come down on that? Where do you suppose we should be when it comes to restricting companies like Wal Way Z.? T. I think this is a legitimate serious as national security concern. Now I'm putting to one side issues about trade balances which are kind of trade issues. I'm talking strictly about national security. What I would not want to seize your situation where China could compromise our data could steal our data or worst actually shut off our ability to operate our five G. networks if we were to get into a conflict or an adversarial situation what alternatives are available to us and it would need to be concerned that by not using Chinese providers we might fall behind? There are three Western turn. Companies using the term in kind of loose sense that do have infrastructure providers could scale and match. Wow Wade Kie. It's Ericsson and Nokia which is Candy Navia and Samsung which is in Korean. We're confident that those companies beneath could get up to production in the scale and the speed at which we would need. Well there's a challenge in that as twofold one is I think there yet at the scale that we would do over they get there but the second issue is and this is a complaint. I've heard from people in the US outside they're more expensive because the Chinese government essentially directly and indirectly subsidize their companies in terms of promoting five g scale ability first of all in China and that means the cost per unit has decreased Ericsson Nokia. Don't get that kind of help from their governments. So part of what we need to start to think about as we do with respect for example to military infrastructure is whether we need to have a joint effort hurt by western like minded nations to build a hospitable market for five G. investment so that these companies will we'll begin to increase the temple of production because the profitability will be there for them. What do you suppose we are when it comes to that? Balance between security occurred in privacy and I'm thinking about technologies like facial recognition and some of those things that are that are on the horizon facial recognition can't be valuable. It's take for example useful when you try to open up your phone and your face appears in the phone opens up. The question is what happens with the data and I think increasingly cleanly. We need to think about the issue privacy not just in terms of what gets collected. But how the data's controlled there may be useless for facial recognition mission that are perfectly appropriate. But YOU WANNA make sure they don't migrate over to something. That would be very inappropriate or threatening. You Might WanNa have facial recognition for example to get you access into your apartment or your place of business for you wouldn't necessarily want that to be transmitted transmitted to the government and be used as a way of surveilling. What you do out on the street every single minute of the day so this is about making insure that there is a degree of control over data? That's generated served. That people aren't putting all nothing situation. Where either? They don't participated oil. On these Internet activities or they wind to basically surrendering their private interests to commercial -mercial interests or government. What is your sense of how well we're doing as a nation in response to these threats are we in a situation where we're nimble enough enough to respond to them? I think we are slowly awakening to some of the challenges. We've talked about on privacy on balancing security corruption on disinformation campaigns. So you're beginning to see legislation being passed in some of the States Congress's beginning to propose things but I will acknowledge that we've been somewhat slow off the mark and it took a pretty dramatic set of events like for example. What happened in the two thousand sixteen election for people to wake up and say we'd better get on top of this problem? That's Michael Chertoff from the Chertoff Group. "I like to just forget about it if I'm going to go all in. So yeah, yeah, let's call in the Bank. I don't know if these charges were me. Yeah. Well, this is this your fingerprint. I don't know. So what second thing that could happen, simply got to drunk carried away was having the time it was life, which is what happened he lost track of time. How many dances he had Jackson, Jack and he had and the up ended up in a bit of a jam? So when police arrived, he was refusing to move from the road just outside the strip club. Even though the, the staff was like get out of the road. It it he had open container and was just sloshed. So we got charged with public intoxication and having a open container in public. That's an that's an AA moment of ever heard one in my life. Yeah. It's rock bottom for sure. That's really sure rock bottom to be fair to him, though. It's Louisiana open containers legal. So he, he didn't know any better. That's true. Sure thought he was home all the big building again. Send them the day. Get him into a program. Oh, yeah. You need counseling for sure. I mean if you can't keep it together. Like when you're a chaperone for a little kid field, Tribus you. Yeah. Counselling principle that of the trip. No one above you the big city ate him alive. So I mean it is kind of fucked up. I mean, I there's a lot of people online, like, ridiculing this guy. I know every straight male Catholic that I've ever known you looking love strip clubs and titties no-fault there. You know how many blowjobs we turn down Catholic men, turn down sex and blow jobs for years for years in your teen years, because you're like I, I don't know. You may be an exception to the rule on the different sects of Christianity. Right. Yeah products. Okay. No Protestants welcoming. Yeah. But the Catholics odds watching just shouldn't you never get those Bodos back? They're gone forever. It's true. So a lot of gret there. Yeah. So. So he's obviously should have not been hammered as principal on field trip, which is I guess forcing his resignation. So the only thing is really guilty of, in my mind is being a fucking idiot and drunk. I mean, I don't blame his loving nude. Demon L care these a Catholic school, principal that went to a strip club. I don't give it fuck, but he was on a school field trip. So, you know, like you said a moment there rock down the internet have to go to the internet. Chris Roshka says at least they were of age and not little boys low blow Chris. Yeah. He's right. As weight as in the strippers. Yeah. As in he just wanted to make that joke. So he just. That's not that those types of clubs are not legal in DC other states. Yeah. Thailand, you can go and watch a little boy strip. I think but they just love to dance. Yeah. And sue FOX Hamilton says Chris Roshka? Yes. But he was still on a trip with children. He is a loser. No excuse. And then Chris Rosca says sue FOX Hamilton. I didn't read where it said that the kids were drunk with him at the club, whoa point. Great point point point. Fire back. Yeah. And then David O'Brien says Chris Rosca. That's what I was thinking. Yeah, chris. Yeah. The kids Hampton great minds, Chris, and then bills, Leslie on his high horse. This was on a school sponsored trip if he wanted to go to a strip lobby of want their own his own time, not when the schools paying for the trip he is an adult in every has every right to do anything he wants on his own time..

"But he was also hoping to walk into a situation where he can grow in the NBA with these kids as once LeBron James got there and the brand prior talked to him about five minutes. Make it this dot here. He does that can do this. Lebron James will sniff out incompetence almost instantly. Almost instant and not just incompetent. But also inexperienced, you know. David Blatt wasn't a city incompetent. But he was inexperienced. He was green. And so if you're going to have a green guy Brad Stevens gets a lot of credit for being a fantastic head coach as well. He should. But I'm pretty sure if you had a camera on him back when he had just left Butler and was an NBA he has some growing to do about it this way who is breast Evenson Willie coach that's been a superstar other now, Kyrie Irving. Who has he hasn't had a ton of who is Roshka chime in on this because he's a Celtic lover. Yes. Brad Stevens hasn't coached any superstores. Right. That was he wasn't listening. No because they were supposed to be rebuilding for as long as the Lakers, but they did a better job, and we weren't rebuilding as long because we made to play offs. And now, you know, we may be some conference finals and things like that wasn't the conversation who's making the playoffs. That was sorry. Celtics play other than Carino superstar. So for him. He hasn't but isn't gotten any tangent. Someone in big time players like that. And he's not winning and doing these two to his ass out of Boston to L point though. If all of a sudden like, for instance of Anthony Davis gets their hill. Brad Stevens will have Anthony Davis is respect because he's got a few stripes in the league now that he's earned them. Whereas, yeah, you'll have his respect he start losing. That's true. Everybody. Not necessarily 'cause guy because the guy like Doc Rivers would know how to lose in. The rest of the year, we're less than two weeks away from the start of the two thousand nineteen Minnesota legislative session with the house of representatives. Now with a democratic majority house speaker designate, Melissa Horton told WCC's Rossini Roshka, mar the relationship with Republican members does not have to be bitter. A very first things I will do and become the real speaker. Not just the speaker designate as I won't order that the mute button be removed from the house chamber. Nobody should ever have their microphone cut off in the middle. All of a debate werman says the rights of any one of the minority should be heard and everyone has the right to fully participate in the state's decision making process. "Cunningham, we're going to have on doctor. So Marco live in about forty five minutes to talk about more findings in the autopsies of the three who were murdered Richard newcomer Lewis called her own pride v. Russia Qadhafi we're going to have her on and talk about that plus a little bit. I suppose about the autopsy of the murderer and to talk about Perez, and I think the takeaway so far is he is two different kinds of ammunition. But one weapon so those who use handguns understand you could have hollow tipped or you could have full metal jacket. One is used more for self defense purposes once used more for penetration. And so either way Peres the murderer walked around with specific intent of killing as many people as possible. Let's take some calls. We got Gary we've got forced first, and then Gary this is also the commemoration of nine eleven some seventeen years ago. One last thought I have is how. Do you stop this? The president. Carmichael a fifth. Third Bank talked about this has got to stop and who could disagree with that notion. Yes, this has got to stop. But we must understand that. There's fewer and fewer homicides in America today than there were twenty or thirty years ago that America's too well down the list of mass murderers. We had on John Lott. The national expert who said I think Emeric is like fifty second or fifty third on the list of nations with mass killings. The reason we don't perceive it as such is. Because the our media doesn't cover the mass killings in France, Germany or Asia or South America that happen all the time. It's a South Africa. For example, is going to have approximately thirty five thousand murders this year, South Africa, pro rata that would be us having three hundred thousand murders when really we have twelve thousand. So other parts of the globe were much more violent than America, many more mass murders than we have here. But the. Uncovered in fact, if I did not have the media if you did not have the media. You would not have known that September eleven twenty one happened at all. Matt except for radio and television. Would you have known about nine eleven? I wouldn't have known about the Persian Gulf war except through media coverage. And so, you know, garbage in garbage out the media will cover certain things and not cover other things therefore unless you're somewhat well read there's reporting going on. We have no idea. What's what's what's transpiring? The inquires done. Great reporting on the murderer Peres, and what happened Broward County Florida in which is mother and his sister tried to get him committed. And they really couldn't do it because he had not done anything except act out. Violently privately by punching walls and by saying things, and that generally is hardly enough to get someone involuntarily committed. I seventy two are pink slip hold. It. Just doesn't work that way. It's very difficult because of a lack of room to get somebody committed when I did mental health hearings for the state of Ohio where the same bed constraints as you seen prison today. In fact, the largest mental health facility in the tri-state his to Hamilton county jail. That's where the mentally ill who commit offenses the not locked up because they're mentally ill too locked up. It goes dementia. Leo commit offenses, and how much mental health treatment anything happens. Now, I'm gonna county Justice center match diamond. Mansor is very little penitentiaries to Cook County jail, whatever it is our large mental health facilities in which no mental health services are provided. And then these individuals are released back into the community to do whatever they do walk around the streets have delusions, Omar Santa Peres thought that TD America was monitoring him through his computer screen. Hey, thought NBC news was actively involved in outing him, whatever the hell that means. So he sued them, and then he failed in his lawsuit. Then he had to act out against the entity that caused him injury, which was the US magistrate the federal court system. He wanted to act out. And so according to speculation of law enforcement, they believed he went to the federal court house to seek down the magistrate who had determined him to be not worthy of being in court. That was magistrate. Karen, let let let Kelsey and she assured an order saying that the lawsuit is frivolous and should be dismissed within two weeks is in point blank to buy a gun. They do their legal duty and run them through NCI. See it comes back clean never been convicted of a felony. Never been a judge mentally ill never been locked up on mental health facility nothing. So what are they do? They give them the gun. He buys two hundred and fifty rounds, which is a boatload and the rest, shall we say is history. He tried last Thursday to get into the courthouse. He walked for those of us who walk in on that lobby UCR garage metal detectors, he said oh to hell with it. Then he walked across the street. The potbellies got a Cup of coffee may about a Donut walked around and said he projected upon those walking in the fifth third Bank center as his enemies, representing NBC news TD America, the federal court system. Whatever it is. And he started shooting and three people are dead. Richard newcomer Louise's called her on and privy Roshka deputy all murdered all connected, directly or indirectly to fit third Bank. And then fortunately police officer Jennifer Shelton who's a hero. She shot him through the glass and killed him, which you know. Was an act of courage, and bravery. Let me ask you this. My gotta take some calls. We got a lot of people on hold last week about a week ago when I had on Nathan back rock has simply money and Nike was having difficulties because of picking someone like. Quarterback. I think a clown of fool to be the spokesman and the face Colin Kaepernick of Nike. His mission in life is to have cops declared to be pigs the cops routinely as part of this systemic life. Seek out black people to kill. That's the mission estimation of Colin Kaepernick. Was officer Jennifer Shelton is she a pig. Is that is the bravery? She displayed by running toward the gunfire and shooting, Omar Santa Peres through the plate glass window fifth. Third Bank was was out the act of a pig who needs to be slaughtered. And so when Nike stock is now up thirty percent. And Nathan back wreck said to me in the hallway a couple of hours ago. You know, I guess I guess Nike knows their customer base doesn't that say more about us than them that doesn't that say that somehow for one of the largest corporations in the world top thirty. Dow Jones average company to pick a hate monger, someone who represents the worst of humankind that wants to kill cops Colin Kaepernick as their voice. The fact that they can pick him and that large numbers of Americans respond, positively to that message doesn't that say something pretty awful about us about where our society is today when over half of their sales and profits come from foreign companies foreign countries, and so if you live in Asia, Africa, Europe, and you see this message, Colin Kaepernick, calling cops pigs and. That's a good message to hear about the United States of America. That's one thing. That's awful. That's bad. I assume French and German and Ugandan cops are pretty good people, by the way, but when inside of America. You have Serena Williams complementing, Colin Kaepernick, you have LeBron James complementing, Colin Kaepernick, you have Tiger Woods saying he respected the ad doesn't that say a lot about where the country is. And where we're headed that someone who's a cop hating clown and a fool who gives twenty five thousand dollars to a convicted cop killer living in Cuba. Someone who advocates indirectly the harm police officers by treating them as thirty farm animals that somehow the national media and others consider that to be positive messages for their brand and they're selling largely close and gym shoes. That's a positive for Nike to depict officers. Like, Jennifer Shelton to be a pig that sound that doesn't harm them or is a neutral comment. In fact, it helps them their stock is up thirty percent. Last night, you had a Broadway. Actress relative to Donald J Trump our president say where's John Wilkes booth when you need them? Broadway shows depict Trump being stabbed to death with blood all over the place. Now, Trump personality is disliked by many. But in reality show, we live in a society in which Hollywood actresses and Broadway stars call for the murder of the president. And it's a positive it's a resume builder. Go Cunningham seven hundred w automobile, you're shot at a trip to our.
