Biden Shows off Embarrassing Cheat Sheet
"President Biden, I don't call him president. Biden today, today being Thursday. You'll hear this tomorrow on Friday. Biden, the schmuck, inadvertently held up a detailed cheat sheet that his staff prepared out of mercy instructing this guy, this leader of the free world to take your seat while you are capitalized. And limit your remarks to two minutes, these are instructions that were prepared that Biden accidentally held up a cheat sheet and held it up facing the wrong way so the cameras spotted it. You'll read all about it. I'm sure you already have, but it's time you hear this show. And the instruction whether the speech was for offshore wind drop by sequence of events and the cheat sheet told Biden to enter the Roosevelt room and say hello to participants. Then the paper says, you all caps, take your all caps C you take your seat because you have to tell a man. Who's not really, it's not really familiar with what to do in political rooms. You know, it's not fair. The guy's only been doing this for 50 years. You know, you're still going to, it's still important to tell her that where he's going to go. You take your seat. Then the note says that after reporters arrive, you give brief comments for two minutes. And when the report is depart, you ask Liz schuler, president of the AFL CIO, a question, and then you thank participants and you give part. Can you believe this is going on?
Doug Mastriano: I Was Number One on the DNC's Hit List
"It was kind of hilarious to watch They were painting the Senate race which Doctor Oz why I support the Republican and you know in any race regardless of your feeling about doctor Rossi's far better than that Bernie Sanders lunatic running in that race But you remember everybody's like wow he's more of a moderate and mastery is no chance whatsoever but the odd thing is you're polling actually ahead of it I'm not asking you to go after him at all I'm just saying you're polling actually ahead of where he's falling which always goes to show you the media you can almost be guaranteed they're going to get the story wrong when evaluating a Republican every single time And it's funny I don't know if you were tracking this And thank you for your words of encouragement there over the past couple of months here when I've been so laid by the media You know you're doing the right thing I appreciate Teddy Roosevelt says you could judge a man's character by whose enemies are So thank you very much Media for that But last year the Democrats the DNC worked with the Democrat legislative campaign campaign YouTube blacklist 21 state legislators and I was number one on their hit list So this all came out in the salon of political article this past November And they viewed me as a threat to their plans in Pennsylvania and decided to attack me with talking points with all the mainstream media and their goal was to hit me so bad publicly that I'd resign and shame They did a poll in November and they are appalled at the results They saw my negatives or single digits and they said not only did it make him more popular in a state he's a lead candidate for governor like no kidding Thank you very much We watched this with Donald Trump We're not going to fall for it a second time
Franklin D. Roosevelt Was an American Dictator
"Now the great Milton Freeman explained many times over and deposited in my view That it was monetary policy that took us from a bad recession under Hoover and moved us from the depression that went on for ten years on needlessly But it was an opportunity for the American marxists to vastly expand the power of the central government and to do grave damage to our constitutional order His name is FDR FDR in many ways was an American dictator The way I use the IRS the way I use the FBI The way he centered information and on and on and on But they loved him because he was a radical lefty And we also had a war going on certainly starting in 1941 And so he got a pass on many things He's not rated Is one of our great presidents certainly not by me
What Led Senator Mike Lee to Write About Court Packing
"Right now I get to talk to senator Mike Lee of Utah. He has a brand new book out really brand new. It's called saving 9. The fight against the left's audacious plan to pack the Supreme Court and destroy American liberty, not that there's anything wrong with that. Senator Mike Lee, welcome back to the program. Thank you very much, Eric. Good to be with you. Most of us have heard a lot of crazy things among them, the idea that the left wants to pack the Supreme Court and really destroy America. Let's cut to the chase. They want to destroy America by packing the Supreme Court. It's sometimes when we hear these things, they sound so crazy, at least I tend not to take them seriously because I can't bear to take them seriously, but I'm glad that someone like you has taken it seriously. But what led you a sitting United States senator to write a book addressing this threat? Yeah, so Eric, I started becoming concerned about this, beginning in the fall of 2020. When Joe Biden was debating Ben president Trump. And Joe Biden was asked about court packing. I hope I expected I assumed that the answer would be no, because Joe Biden, as a senator, it always said it's a terrible idea. Basically, every legal scholar, historian, everyone, over the last 80, 85 years, has said that court packing is a bad idea. Joe Biden didn't say no. Joe Biden hammed in hogs so much that I'd worried about it. A few months later, he appointed a commission to look at the idea of packing the Supreme Court. That's when I really started to panic. Because I realized we haven't talked about this in a long time as a society. And as far as I could tell, no one had written a book outlining exactly what happened the last time someone tried to pack the Supreme Court, which was Franklin D. Roosevelt, who is the idol of president Joe Biden back in 1937. I realized this story has never been told and it needs to be told because people need to realize what the dire consequences
Mike Lee: The Incredible Timing of Releasing Book 'Saving Nine'
"You So you have this new book out saving 9 now Interesting I mean the timing was fortuitous You had written this book about this ongoing onslaught against our court system You being a very skilled lawyer yourself And conveniently right around this time we see the Dobbs roe V wade decision is about to come out And we're seeing renewed attacks against the legitimacy against the Supreme Court We haven't even had confirmation of what the ruling is yet So unfortunate but fortuitous timing for the writing of this book Exactly Correct on both fronts when I started writing saving 9 over a year ago They didn't know this leak was going to happen Nor did I know exactly when a ruling in the DOM's case might occur but I had a feeling that Rome might be on the chopping block because roe is bad law But I started predicting based on a variety of tea leaves and based on what the Democrats were talking about starting early in this administration the President Biden might try to follow what his role model Franklin D. Roosevelt tried to do by packing the court I thought we can't afford that We are still paying the consequences suffering the dire consequences from what happened last time he tried to pack the court in 1937 I explained this in great detail in chapter four of saving 9 And I'm more concerned than ever now Dan especially in the link of these leaks from the Supreme Court That's exactly what they're going to try to do We know that because they're already doing it
Why Roosevelt Suppressed Color Footage of WW2
"Was extensive color film and it's kind of a, it's kind of a little known fact that color film existed and it was suppressed for several years. During the war, because it was taken back and shown at The Pentagon and shown to the president Roosevelt and president Roosevelt said, no, no, we can't. We can't show this. The American people will be appalled because they showed they showed a marines dead marines in the lagoon. You know, floating in the lagoon and dead marines on the beach strewn across the beach. So they said, no, that this would be bad for morale. We can't show this. We've got to keep the morale up because this is 1943. It was the middle of the war. Things were going better than they had the year before. But they still were, you know, things are still tough and it was very tight at home and people were worried and concerned about their sons all over the world and people were wanting to know when we were going into France and it didn't look like that was going to happen any time soon. So they did suppress the for quite a while. I think it was until really until after Normandy D-Day when the film was finally released sometime in 1944. Janet, when it was released, it actually had a positive effect on American morale and made Americans even more eager to go over and. It also it's different stiffened resolved too. And that was the that was the

'Top Gun: Maverick' Jets to New Box Office Record
"Top Gun: Maverick grabs a Memorial Day weekend box office record a 156 million in the United States bravo. I'll tell you now that my son in law is one of the pilots in the movie. And they had a blast supporting the production of that off the Teddy Roosevelt. Many years ago now. Many, many years ago. And they had a blast. And we had a blast watching it, and knowing a little bit of the inside story, by the way, Tom Cruise was very professional working with the pilots and their crews and the carrier crew and everybody else. All I heard was that that was a very professional operation on both sides. It's fighting that when you see Tom Cruise is an actor playing a real pilot when you know real real fighter pilots and the people who support them and you realize that pretend is pretend and real is real and people have 700 landings on a carrier are different from you and me.
Biden says 'we have to act' after Texas school shooting
"President Biden is emotionally pleading for new gun restrictions after another mass shooting at an American school I am sick and tired of it We have to act The president says this just does not happen anywhere else Only in America are little kids killed in schools Second third fourth graders Standing in the Roosevelt room with the First Lady he said it's time to end it As a nation we have to ask when in God's name are we going to stand up to the gun lobby Sagar Meghani Washington

Biden Wanted to Be the Next Franklin Roosevelt
"Because we now have a man in the Oval Office who lit a fuse To blow up our economic system Because he wanted to create a legacy for himself He wanted to be the next Franklin Roosevelt And so he was willing to destroy established traditions And processes and systems and lurch hard left He was desperate for this legacy A man in failing mental health who never had a high IQ or cognitive bone in his head to begin with
How Did Ronald Reagan Wrestle Inflation?
"So Chris talgo goes on Well how did Reagan fix this inflation era He says fortunately by the late 1980s Ronald Reagan's free market policies coupled with a hike in interest rates had wrestled inflation down to a more sustainable 4.6% Wow so they did fix it Those are called numbers lefties you may want to check that out Since the late 1980s inflation has remained off of Americans radar of things to worry about Until now So what happened Brandon happened Joe Biden happened That's what happened Single most destructive force the man has done more damage in close to two years than any president in modern American history Let's go Brandon and I agree Yeah I know you agree I'm serious I think this guy makes Barack Obama look like teddy Teddy Roosevelt
Why America Is the Best Place for Jews
"Can I always try to tie in my own experience if I can't think of a worse thing to have done to Jewish kids than even and I was born right after the Holocaust. Amazingly, when I think about it, but had I been raised in a family, it said, you know, we're Jews and the going, the non Jews are out to get us. I would not have been the guy I am. I was raised by Jewish parents who obviously lived through not in Europe, but they lived through the period of the Holocaust. And I was told implicitly and explicitly that this is the best place that you could live. And they were right. Then Israel was created in fine. So putting Israel aside. The best place. And my father wrote a senior class thesis on anti semitism, America. There was plenty of it. And Roosevelt's administration was filled with it. This country didn't allow Jews in any numbers. Send a ship of Jews back to be slaughtered by the Nazis, the St. Louis. It's a terrible story. But nevertheless, it was a blessing to be a Jew here. It's a blessing to be a black here.
The Russian Military's Weak NCO Corps on Display in Ukraine
"No, I want to close admiral. Last question for you. I was at the beaches of Normandy with Duane two days passed. And one of the things that stuck in my mind was the heroism, not everyone of everyone involved of the leaders of the young lieutenants of general mcnerney of general Roosevelt, but they also paid particular attention to the NCOs that America was blessed with on that day that kept the men moving towards the beaches. As you take that in mind, how is the Ukrainian NCO core performed in this? I know their leadership at the top has been excellent, but as you watch as a trained military observer of every aspect of a military leadership, as your eye fallen on their NCOs, it has and here we have NATO and the west have really had extraordinary impact as follows. The Russian model of war military degrades the importance of the NCO core. It is all very officer driven because they want highly centralized control of everything. They don't want to delegate. They don't want, if you will, free market combat, where younger leaders are capable of moving out with their squad with their platoon under the leadership of a strong NCO.
Hans Von Spakovsky: The Purpose of the Hatch Act
"In fact I've given her name I think it's zuck buck's two Because remember what happened at what happened in the 2020 election was Mark Zuckerberg and these other liberals funneled $450 million almost exclusively into big democratic densely populated urban cities and areas to basically move the get out the vote campaign into government election offices because that's where the money went Well the same people who engineered that are now in control in the Biden White House And so Biden almost as soon as he gets in issues this executive order ordering All executive cabinet agencies and offices to prepare a plan to enhance voter registration in the next election And I think what they've done is basically now moved to get out the vote campaign into federal government offices And look Dan here's a problem with this of course And you look you know this remember when you were a Secret Service agent you had to operate right under the patch act That's the same Federal employees officials can engage in political activity but a lot of people are forgotten The reason that law was passed in 1939 was because of all these scandals it turned out that in the 1938 congressional elections like the ones we are coming up are these federal Roosevelt government officials particularly in the works progress administration We're using their power over federal benefits
Harry Truman Would Not Let US Return to Isolationism After WWII
"Isolationist was rampant through the after the World War I up until we actually got into World War II. Roosevelt dealt with this in his entire first part of his terms several terms dealing with rod up until World War II. It is firmly believed and you read the writing, you can see his understanding that Roosevelt understood that by the time Hitler was moving, we saw the occupations that he was making and the emphatic discussions from Churchill is that America was going to be into this war at some point. The question was, is when we would get into it. And I think if politically speaking, he would have probably gotten into it earlier, had it not been for the isolationist sentiment here in America. Now let's think about what this isolationist sentiment in America then. It was led by folks like Charles Lindbergh, national heroes who said, look, we only need to be concentrating on here inside our border. We only need to be a part of what we need to say to deal with our country as it exists. And the rest of the world needs to take care of itself. That was the isolation viewpoint. Frankly, if you look at TV and you look at others right now, you will see that that is becoming the discussion that we have right now among isolationist viewpoints and the effect of that of America not being a active world later. Now, I am of the opinion we don't need to be the America's police force. America is not the world's police force. We don't go into every idea and every part and say we're going to fix the problems everywhere. We're going to be a part of making sure though that the world is kept in check because frankly you can not view America and isolation anymore. Truman understood this after World War I into World War II. You have to be sort of understanding that isolationist viewpoint had a great deal of effect on how he dealt with
A Look Back at the Life of Dwight Eisenhower
"Of course, was the 34th president of the United States. He served from 53 to 61. Sort of the capstone of his career, you know, most do knowing his president, but most know him again as he is being the supreme ally commander in Europe at the end of World War II and leading the offensive of all of our allies against the axis forces and Hitler and Nazi Germany. These all playing together for this became his final speech and there's a lot written about Eisenhower and I would encourage you just to the wood of Washington. If you want to know more about the man themselves, you want to know about how they grow up how they came about, I would encourage you to read their several books out there to go read about them because they're fascinating in their where they came from and how they got there. In fact, it's a really interesting correlation between sort of three presidents in a row and this is an extra for you podcast listeners today. For listening, you know, if you look at the middle of the century in the United States during the came out of the FDR presidency coming out of the great depression moving into World War II, you had a person who was in essence grown for politics. He was groomed in many ways and his family from his cousin to everybody to be a politician to be a leader of governor or president. That's what FDR Franklin Roosevelt was sort of groomed to be. And then you have the one who became president one of the biographies of his accidental president. Harry Truman was one who was not groomed. He came from very humble backgrounds. He came from a very working class middle of the country background and Missouri to know to the presidency. And took those took that office very seriously because of where he came from and in the desire to serve the country. And then you transition to another midwesterner in Eisenhower. So in the middle of our time frame there in which we went through The Great Depression World War II into what began the use of the atomic bomb, the use of the beginning of the Cold War. And then the space race toward the end of Eisenhower's term that was beginning, again, this buildup of nuclear power, this buildup of military power through Eisenhower's administration and even the beginnings of what we say we see the battle of Korea. And then we see the start of what would be known is from our perspective later in Eisenhower's administration owning the candidates and then Johnson's is the Vietnam War.
Pastor Phil Waldrep Recalls the Question 'What's Wrong With Obadiah?'
"So I thought I will deflect her question by asking her a question. I said, well, big mother is he sick? She said no. I said, well, that's probably what's wrong with him. You don't think about it. She said to something he's been dead for years, I said, big mother, we need to start this conversation over. You call to ask me what's wrong with obadiah. Now you tell me he's been dead for years, and it was then my grandmother explained her question. You see, my grandmother had a Bible that she got during World War II when Franklin Delano Roosevelt was president. I don't know what that had to do with it, but if you ever called attention to her Bible, my grandmother would say, I got this during World War II when Franklin Delano Roosevelt was president. And my grandmother had developed a habit of whenever she heard somebody preach, she would write in the margin of her Bible, their name and the date that they preached. And she would draw a little line over to the text that they used. Now, that's what my grandmother had done. Well, that morning, in my grandmother, had got up and ran to her devotion and the suggested scripture was from the Old Testament book of obadiah. And when my grandmother finished reading it, she looked down at her Bible that she had had since World War II when Franklin Delano Roosevelt was president. And she realized there was no markings in the margin of her Bible, and it occurred to her that since World War II when Franklin del nor Roosevelt was president, she had not heard one Sherman from the book of obadiah. And she began to wonder why, so she thought I'll call my preacher grandson and ask him, son, what's wrong with Obama?

"But you can't have our taxpayer funding under the constitution. But i think the court may very well rule differently in this case given the recent rulings on religious freedom and they've carved out tax payer support for religious education They sidestepped job. Discrimination laws health insurance coverage for contraceptives. As i've mentioned so. I think they see it. Very differently cynthia. Thanks cynthia for your call. Let's touch on justice stephen. Breyer eighty five years. Old appointed by president clinton usually votes with the liberal wing. He gave a speech at harvard. In april in which he seemed to warn president biden and democrats in congress against expanding the supreme court to counter what they see as mitch. Mcconnell's dirty pool refusing to consider a nominee near the end of obama's term as president but rushing through justice barrett at the end of trump's. And in this minute and a half clip from brian speech he had just described some of the history that president. Franklin roosevelt may trying to pack the court with moore justices in the nineteen thirties. That was a long time ago but the court packing stories relevant here. For another reason proposes have been recently made you increase the number of supreme court justices. I'm certain that others will discuss related political arguments for example. We'll what goes around comes around are the nomination and confirmation process. He's working well new appointments to closely reflect partisan political division as the court itself become politically partisan. This lecture reflects my own effort however to be certain that those who are going to debate these questions and related proposed. Also consider an important institutional point considerate namely how would court packing reflect and affect the rule of law itself discuss this institutional and it's important to focus upon more than the rights and wrongs of individual cases however important. Those cases are when i are others descent. Naturally i think the majority is raw. And sometimes i think they're very wrong but discussion of institutional change should include discussion of certain background. Now such as the trust with the court has gradually built the long period of time needed to build that trust the importance of that trust in a nation that values indeed depends upon a rule of law justice..

"Go to Jack in Irving. Thanks for holding Jack. Yes. Uh, I'd like your opinion on a, uh, a minivan. My, uh, my son's Odyssey has about 200,000 plus miles, and it's starting to show wear and tear. And What it Was a nice used Honza Honda. I gotta see baby just as good as anything else. In that class. It depends on the first owner, Jack, how many howled in Odyssey You can look at. I'm sorry. I didn't understand how old and Odyssey or you're gonna look at Well, let's say 13 years old. Have you found this or you guessing? No, no, no. No, I have I have. The only knowledge I have of cars is by listening to you through the years And so you know, you and I are both sunk. And so I'm probably gonna be a little bit involved in the purchase of their C And so I was just OK, Here's the first thing. People who buy Honda's tend to do more maintenance on their cars than any other car line. That's part one people that buy minivans don't tend to dog them out because they just aren't that's not what a minivan is. It's it's a family hauler. But we do have these safeguards if it's at and legitimate dealer. Okay, that has standards for their use Car department. They got to go down and check list if they don't like to use vehicle, even if it has a clean Carfax. Good dealer will get rid of it. So that's the thing. You gotta know who owned it first. Did they do the maintenance and has it ever been in a wreck? That's it. In fact, the wreck. I don't care about hail damage, but put it on a lift. If it's been in bad wreck, you can see where it's been repaired underneath. Mark my words, even if you don't anything about cars, you'll see that repair the mechanic to put on the lift. I'll show it to you. But that being said people that buy Honda's tend to do their maintenance honor people to buy minivans don't tend to turn them into dodge challengers with EMI engines in them, And so that seems to be a pretty good start for everybody. So I live over on 6 35 and Plain old Road. Do you have a They were dealership when you go looking for used cars, Jack a great used car. In fact, I wrote one guy this week and I said a nice used cars where you find it And you know, he wrote me back, he said, was nice. The name of the app. Yeah, And I said, No. It was an adjective to describe the used car. He actually thought he was going to download the nice happened. Find used cars there. Believe it. There you go. But with that You could start of my website. Go to the purchase page. Everybody on the show has their used car inventory online. Jack. Okay, There you go. Have a good weekend, buddy. "Because in Japan, there would be in this great backlash against a foreigner making that kind of money. Ridiculous. Japan changed long 2010 on that. But it was never memorialized. They never came up with a way on how to do it at the time of his arrest. So Greg Kelly. Gonna serve time in prison? I don't know. I would think in the background somebody with our State department is stalking someone in their state department. Say Look, when you're done with your fun and games Find him whatever you want to find him and send him home. Because these things kind of tend to work that way or the State Department saying what if we give you the guys that smuggled Carlos going out of Japan? And you guys find Greg Kelly guilty and his sentences time served and go ahead and send him home. Because he really didn't do much of anything other than what his job required. As for Hari Nada. Everything you've ever read about. This guy is just bad news. He's just that treacherous kind of guy. That walked around making notes on everybody. So one day he could wrap them all out. Maybe he's just a really nice guy with a great memory, and he really thought all this was wrong. But if he really thought it was all wrong, why didn't he quit that job and ask for a new assignment? Is he worked on the whole thing, too, And he admitted that court But again Get down to the point. It was never memorialized. Therefore, technically you haven't broken the law. Because you've neither paid him. Or vacated law to find a way around it. Second They said if he had done that they would have fired him in France as CEO over no and Nissan for making that kind of money. The financial statements went to Reno's accounts. You could make book on that. And therefore if they were gonna fire going for making that kind of money They would've been the one to point it out first. So my point is okay. The Corona virus was a big story. The bigger story to me is how the American public then went out after they got over the the initial fear and reaction to everything. And we did the best we could to adapt and go back about our normal lives, which by the way, is not normal yet. But it's kind of mostly normal. One of the guys. It's on my show, he told me At the end of November. We had a good month. He said. It's like everybody's going through the motions. There's no genuine enthusiasm. There's no momentum. Do you view that as the taxpayers giving them the money? Some cases it is, in some cases this Yeah, Some is deferred taxes. Some is a pure tax abatement. We kind of keep the sales tax until it's paid back. The reference. The gold standard for this is David Cay Johnston's books. Ah, there's no free lunch. They're just brewing. In fact, the Capellas case isn't one of his books the Fort Worth Cabela's case, but still with all that being said. America works not because of these deals that works because you and I go to work every day, and everybody listening goes because no matter who's elected or anything else, we have to go to work and make money and be successful. On the other hand, I want you to know I rarely if ever because Oh, l see is in the news all the time. For I find her to be a bitch Trill. Contrary to popular belief, folks, I find her to be a bit shrill. I find her to be a bit naive, which is fine. We still need idealist. But idealist sitter shrill Don't Do it for me. I don't read what Bernie Sanders has to say, although I'm sure his heart's in the right place because he's been in Congress. How long and never done any legislation? Really? So are you actually don't read the far left stuff much. You have to look at it every once. Also, you're informed, but I don't read the stuff on the far right much either. Right, because with the rest of us leave 85% of us live somewhere in the middle. Yeah, I agree with that very day. I hear that in your ear. No, we need independent thinkers. And, uh, so yeah, I hear that in a lot of what say, you know, I just agree with him. Obviously, That's a good thing, huh? We need good people in America is already full of them. Good. "$12,000 and the value of your truck now, can you buy a much nicer used truck than what you have that you would still get 100,000 miles out of Um, that's that's possible, but I was trying to avoid all of the technology. Damn inside. Don't want knave systems I don't want. I think we're talking about finding a great use drug say 100 100,000 Miles where you get 100,000 miles to go. Can you take the truck You currently have and $12,000 cash and buy a truck without all the technology that would serve your needs, and you would be better off. It's a math. It's a financial Situation. Not anything else Now, the way you're going with it. If you got $12,000 to get a new engine, you get it installed. And you still like your truck? You still have what is now a 10 year old truck. And we're gonna have suspension issues. You're gonna have to do shocks you're gonna have to do breaks. There's gonna be other cost in it. That's still in the long run might be the least expensive for you. Bye. I'm fairly certain if you take your truck, given the ridiculous resale value of trucks in this market today, which $12,000 you can actually find a nicer truck that what you have 100,000 miles left to go on before you have any issues and come out flush. Mm. But at 74 years of age, put an engine in it. If you love your truck, knowing you're going to spend some extra money on it. In addition, that could be an option, too. But this is a question that needs a spreadsheet and dollars put into it, not necessarily my opinion on what to do. Okay, well, the reason I asked more of an opinion I've listened to you again when you were the credit report That was fascinating. Last weekend and this weekend, I have the good fortune to be similar to you. I have I have no debt. Yes. So the spreadsheet. I don't even care if it costs a little more. I'm more concerned. If you love your truck, especially if you love your truck to the point the 12,000 for new engines Way to go. That's the way to go. But that has nothing to do with. Maybe six months later, the transmission goes out and you got another eight grand in it. That's true. There you go. That's why I said, I give my opinion on it. But a spreadsheet is really the way to do it Mathematically, because again we're older guys, We don't have debt. We look at these things. In my opinion, the reason I asked about the engine in the box, it'll shock some people that some of these cars out there the engine and the boxes over 20 grand plus labor to put them in. For V six engines. Honda actually barred me from reviewing their cars anymore. When I did the Civic type, R pointed out that in spite of the safeguards keep you from blowing the engine in it, and it's a Honda engine I mentioned the one of my NSX owners blew the engine in his NSX, and the engine was 25,000 in the box plus labor to put it in. Well, Honda went nuts on me and they said, Yeah, we didn't have any engines blowing an intersex. I said, you know, I know this doctor. He's still around. I could get your phone number. I said, Plus, I was at the dealership of the time I was well aware because I was one that got the Honda engineers to look at that and the engine. So you might want to try this symbol on someone else. It was incredible. And that was the cost of a V six engine for an intersex in 1992. Yeah, So there you have it. Put it on a spreadsheet. If you love your truck that works for you, But just remember that mean the transmission will go out later, but without a good run down Thank you, sir. Have a good weekend, buddy. "Here came out. It was a Renault AMC designed built of the brand new factory in Brampton, Ontario. And they were like $21,000 brand new with everything on it. People went out and bought them because it was four grand cheaper than Acura legend. And they would try to trade it in three months later, if not four months. I'm not making this up. $3500 to be the money on it. Yeah, and no Eagle dealer wanted at that price. I remember it. It was It was horrible, Horrible, horrible car And it wasn't that bad. Pretty bad. No, I don't. I'm not. And again. I'm not saying it was the greatest of the greatest. But people forget they're actually used to be cars that you would go out and you would spend 21,000 Foreign brand new and on the used car market. They were Radioactive and you've got to keep in mind. I'm saying horrible car. Being a used car manager, bidding a car for a number and seen what the bank had loaned on it. And the discrepancy was so large and like you get there's no way for $15,000.7 $21,000 car was like this isn't possible. However. The bank's loan him the money. Show five away. Yeah, Yeah, Another one, huh? Audi 5000 after the unintended acceleration. Yeah, I thought I'd bring back some happy memories. Yeah, There you go. Let's talk about my 1st 93 94 94 the other Hel sort. So again, she's gone drive both of those in like two seconds, and she'll say which one she likes. The Palisade just has a lot of value to it. The Cadillac has maybe as much more cachet. Right? And you can't go wrong with Ford Explorer. Unless if you're the plant manager in Chicago, the tried launch it in which case he couldn't do anything, right? Anything else in that class that you would recommend her. Dr. Um If you really want to punish yourself, take her over to the store and let her drive the new Escalade. And then try to get out of trying to buy that for No, I'm not going to do that. We're not going to go with. You know something, James, You are smarter than the average bear. Hey, you don't know. Okay. I'm thinking about find little City van. A little transit. Ah, Black and 100. I'm really looking at the Dodge Ram Pro Master City. Uh, can you tell me anything about that advance? He had small Well, I know that that's what I need. I assume it's a assume it's a business fan. Uh, yeah. Yeah, it is, but but not very much business. You know what you're going to do with a commercial van. If you're not doing business that way. Well, I can't throw a beanbag chairs into the back and take the family on vacation. No, no, but I do need I do need to see some band. Are they any good? I don't think there's a problem of that. They're all over the road. I'm sure you've seen that, Danny. Yeah, I think the one that I like the most. Although when I reviewed it that I thought had a great price. Good handling seemed to be pretty solid was the Ford Transit. I've left taste. Yeah, that was one that impressed me the most. I've only been around the pro Master city a couple times, as you know, with the Nissan Chevrolet had a copy of the Nissan and they couldn't give them away, so they got rid of it. The Nissan's a little squirrely looking But the one that actually seemed solid to May the most solid too. May for what it was for. The money was actually the Ford Transit. Danny before drainage. Yeah, okay. But have you driven? Have you driven him? I drove the ram in it that look, it was great, he said. You drove the Ram or the pro master. Well, I mean, it's a It's a Ram pro Master city band. That's what's called okay again when you say ran the audience going to hear a pickup truck. Yeah. Yeah, but you're talking about the small pro master, which is the same in transit and all that stuff. What you what you need to do is and you could go over to Marie. It's and drive it again, then got to Southwest drive the transit. But what you want to do is not go jump on the freeway. Go drive it on all the crappy residential streets behind the dealership, because that's where you're gonna find out real quick. If you like the commercial truck or not, or van or not. Here we go. Okay. Thank you. Have a good weekend. You bet. And with that, let's go to Eddie. Indicator your back. Yes, I get it. I do it all the time. I was going to say I'm having a car out of the fight. Yeah, You're getting real digital. Honest. Can you say that again? I'm on my way out to Colorado. For fly fishing that out. Isn't it past trout season up there Ready? Ah, yeah, that's not necessarily true. I went trout fishing in a late August wants Up to Colorado. And I think I made the whole state 2.5 days. In fact, I've ended up down in Pagosa Springs and the river that I had trout fished in my youth. Was completely dry by then. And so I'm driving back towards Pagosa Springs and I see this pond off to the side. Another beaver pond, right? Hey, so I get out of the vehicle. Make a cast. Bama gets shot first one, I filled up a 20 court ice chest would trout in about 20 minutes and I drive to reenter the highway. It says Welcome to the coast of Springs Trap Farm pay on your right. It cost me about 60 bucks, which was like real money in 1975 to get out of there. That was it. I mean, I've been up to 10 cup outside of Blaine of this dive went down. The Gunnison River, which was all fenced off, went down the whole side of the state and I found out one thing they stock All that in spring. Did you know that? Yeah. Trout are not native to Colorado. But that being said Now that you have and enjoyed my merriment at finding a trout pond where I thought I was a great fisherman, but wasn't What do you got? Force? I have a 2018 board rapture. Okay? I love you. I love this. But it does have going on with you and David And started now the issues that happening with my truck that they're having it for another after and a friend of mine has got a rafter instead that he's having trouble getting parts for it. And his work is almost up. My question is If that is the case, and service centers are having trouble getting the part in your warranty is about to be a but they know of the problem. Well, it will be under warranty and honor. If you have a problem with the vehicle and you take it into the dealership if they don't even know what the problem is, because nothing is broken completely. But you have a paper record of it. The warranty doesn't stop on the drop Dead day. You just have to do business with good dealer that knows how this works. By the same token there. We've got a lot of parts right now that are hard to come by. Because the parts suppliers shut down during the pandemic to and when they reopened. They didn't reopen. Full blast. They wouldbe all ground broke again. They have been ramping up along with new car production, and it was determined it's more important to make a new car, then ship parts of the moment, so there's this lag time were some parts are very hard to come by or take a bit longer than they should have. The deal. I appreciate I figured that was the case that I reached there You go and have a safe trip, buddy. You there. With that we'll be back in just moment on 5 70, Calif. I think, Yeah, Let's use a party school in it. I don't know. Yeah, I'm pretty sure I don't think that's part of the MBA program. You know, I've always wondered how party schools have accounting degrees because it just didn't seem to match the personality of front. But you're really serious about because I went in there. You like taking all these course. And all that. Sure. I was impressed. Well, thank you. So I asked you when you're going to go for your PhD Well, I don't have any plans, but thank you. OK, I read some of the stuff I printed off from for this MBA amount. Here you go. I watched him sit in my office and do it. There is no party to that. You know, one of the great things about having advanced accounting degrees, which I'm pretty. I'm done in fourth grade math. But it's great if you know how to use it is when you get into the SEC filings and all that you start looking at things. And you realize that if a riel dealership, whether be the Ford Store of the Christ or whatever the case may be If they could do their counting the way major American corporations were. We could lose millions of dollars years still stay in business, too. Yeah. It is amazing. How that accounting works, and we're going to take a quick break will come back to just moment. "Stable at 30 and that's the problem with my electric car paid $32,000 for it, okay? And it's probably worth of if it retail right now probably show for $6000. That's a huge loss. But we also have a JAG wire that I love it, too. All luxury cars depreciate a lot in the first year. Because somebody they could buy a brand new luxury car isn't gonna buy used one for 10 grand, less. They're simply going to pop the extra money to get their own car so they'd appreciate more. So if I were going to do the math on what an electric car cost to be what's called an early adapter or an impulse buyer. When people say Look how much you lose by an electric car, so we'll go buy a luxury car and get back to me. Then electric cars look cheap, but they are expensive compared just gas powered car. Brett. Yeah, I don't think the savings in gas will pay for that difference, of course not again. When the first people on a personal computer, do you remember how much mycotoxin Mackintosh costs back them with a printer? I want to pay for mine in 88 $10,000. I could have bought a typewriter for 350 I was doing the same thing with both of us. Just back with type 100 letters at a time, and with a typewriter. You had to do them all by hand. There you go. That's what it is. It's just technology, buddy. Okay with that. Let's go to let's go to Paul in Paradise, California Ball head. I love that discussion. You just made on the comparing the electric cars and gas cars. I made that same argument all the time. Now I've got another one for you. Okay. If you I build four plex houses With 100 solar panels. And now are you Are you really in Paradise, California? Yeah, I worked there in Paradise, California. We're rebuilding the town of paradise because it burned down in the campfire completely. Yeah, yeah, we want out of the house is 36,000. You know, so no, No, no. You said you're rebuilding the town. Excuse me. They lost 18,000 homes. You should be rich by now, Paul. Well, let me tell you. The problem is this I'm trying to build a single four plex house with 100 solar pounds. Okay. The, uh, the insurance companies are not paying the people who lost their homes. The state is not paying, and we're trying to build these houses. But there's very few are being built. Because the people who have the money the insurance companies are not paying those who lost their homes. And a lot of these people are old people there, 50 60 years old. They're not sure they want to go to all the trouble, but my goal is to build one single four Plex house. 100 solar pounds, because if you build one of those in paradise or anywhere, Um, what you've got is a house that operates under Moore's law. You know, Moore's long you all of a sudden, you're you're selling surplus energy either to your neighbors are on to the grid. You're making money from the solar and you're making money from renting out three of units. So you're basically living in the house for free. And you're setting a good example for people. And if enough people build these things, we create a solar economy in this town Now, the big problem we had a ball for No. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on because I'm not not utopia. Yet. For those who don't know Paradise, California is one of the great tragedies of the camp Fire started by the DJ. Any power lines. We're talking about a wife the whole town out. Everybody about 90 miles due north of Sacramento. But in towns where solar really took off Paula's, you know the electric companies like Phoenix go back in after the fact and they said, Yeah, they have more excess electricity than we want to buy. So we don't have to pay for it anymore, and their lobbyists make that happen. So you're you're talking utopian dream that if it actually came into being you're gonna get shut down by big business. Well, let me explain the one detail you need to know. Okay. We like just passed a law that allows us to get around all zoning laws in California. There's an amazing law. That says if you build a four plex house anywhere in California, if you yawn a lot, the zoning laws do not apply to you. You can build a four plex house wherever you want to in California, so that the year before we pass the law, it was just this year we passed the law says, Um, That all new houses in California must be solar powered. So I've got the law on my side now for this, but with Gavin Newsom as your governor Whole 0.4 years. He may not be the governor. Guess what is like my grand parents build their home in Burbank in 1924 right? Perfectly serviceable, right upto one else have died in 1969. And guess what? You couldn't build that house today because it wouldn't make any of the girls from Burbank, California. Right, But we're getting around the zoning laws now. Okay? Okay. In California. That's because of the fire. That's bad. Why get around Zoning? Lo? OK, where we going, Right? We're going with this. Where we're going is building thousands that are basically going to be free the same way cell phones I bought the first cellphone sold in San Francisco. It was $3000. You can now get a cellphone for $100 because of Moore's law. On the building a type of house that lower the cost of housing in California anywhere you build these things. Four points. Houses will lower the cost of housing using Moore's law because of a sale. Okay here, and they've got to take a break, Paul I hope this works for you. But number one, No self respecting person would walk around with a free cell phone. Okay, and I paid over $1000 for one last iPhone. Secondly, you can't do everything for free because everything's a surplus. You might do it as an individual. But when everybody doesn't guess what there's no need for the surplus, because everybody's got a surplus. So it kind of falls apart on that, and I don't know. No, I don't. I don't want to not. I've got to take a break. I don't want to knock your enthusiasm. Get back to me in a year. You're in an area that was devastated. But if it were me in California, and I want to live cheap, I just drive down the road to Stockton. Because their houses fell down 75% of value and they're not much are in that now after the meltdown. That's what I would do with my money. But I'm not you with that with that call us back in a year. Let us know how it went. I gotta take a break. Thanks, Paul. And with that we will take a break. We'll be back in a moment on 5 70 Calif. I'm Roosevelt May general manager of a founds Hyundai Genesis, Plano. "Slowly picked up speed on flat ice. And that's when I realized you really don't need all wheel drive if you have a great front world drive car. Okay, Well, now I remember you mentioning the new This current crop of threes come out of the threes, having ah, some kind of unique traction control that almost so it almost felt like a rear wheel drive car going into a corner. Yeah, it's a very unique system. That monster came up with a dozen instantaneous hesitation of the engine. And that changes the centre of balance in the car. You go around the corner, and so it is remarkable how fast you can corner in a Mazda and you don't even feel it happening. But doing that hesitation like a real racecar driver automatically is around the corner. You don't feel it. But you sense it because it doesn't break way in the back when you do that. So you try one with the G Force on is pretty cool. Yeah, well, you know, Like I said, I'm debating getting another three or moving up to the six. They're both lovely cars and I really enjoy go drag the six because right now, and I don't know if that's going to last. Moreno. They got like 0% financing for 16 months. And, like 1500 cash back, Karl Plus, in your case, you have a Mazda, so I think you get another grand and bonus cash. Yeah, It's really, really excellent deal right now. It's like I don't know. Go pull the trigger or not pull the trigger. But this one's paid for Then don't pull the trigger. Take the bullets out of the gun. I don't care that you know, I'm tempted to move. I guess I'm tempted Move up the threes or great cars. And when it's all said and done, there are things I procrastinate on buying and the things I procrastinate the most on buying as badly as I want them. Later, when I finally do that balance of value over cost in my head and I go, okay, let's go ahead and do it. I can never find it again. Certainly never at the price that I thought I was paying. I got it. Yeah, but your mom's Dona, 0% cash back loyalty bonus. Financially now makes sense. Yeah. And when I when I got this when they had that a similar deal in place, and it was like, if you're not gonna pull the trigger now, when I mean with deal literally $2500 off zero and 0% interest And you know, and it's been It was an excellent deal.
