"Landing on her feet. So good for her, all right? With another tape running head like, uh, What's that? Another talking head like us more to her than just that Your experience is a police officer. Absolution expert. She's an expert. You know, experts get a lot of face time. Like for instance, you get somebody like Tallchief found. She gets tons of face time, right? So found she was admits administration has restricted his media appearances that so I would not be easy, Tio. We should set this up last night in the CNN, right, 60 minutes. 60 Minute, 60 minutes. Big 60 minutes. Big 60 minutes on faulty, I think is this the second time they've been something on him or Third time in a week. They did know this. I think you're mischaracterizing this they did. It's very interesting. They did a piece on him like four years ago, and one of the pieces I don't this is might not be as relevant is most stuff. We're going to play right now. But he actually four years ago, said the biggest thing he's concerned about is and they describe something that's almost to a T. What Covert 19 is well, of course, because he's in charge of infections and things like that, so we would be concerned about infections. So he said that Yeah, He's considered a bit of sand Emmick like this, right? No. I was reading a piece from big piece that he did them in style magazine. They have sitting by the pool and talks about. I'm certainly energetic and I think everyone thinks I'm doing Mohr than an outstanding job. Here He is Doctor Falke talking about whether he'll vote in person. Are you planning to vote in person? I'm going to try to vote in person. I like the atmosphere of going and voting. I think. Ah lot of people want to vote in person, but they're afraid. If someone asked me why I'm 75 years old, I have hypertension. And I'm a little bit concerned. Alleviate your anxiety. Do an absentee ballot. No problem, but they could vote in person if they were careful, right? Yes. Okay. Yeah, scared. They go to the supermarket. CBS guy going to go to the supermarket, and they walk around the supermarket for 45 minutes an hour. But they don't want to go and vote. They're scared to vote. You doing your own, eh? There's nobody to answer you, John. No, Just just the idea of I was sitting there watching this, I would say okay, so let's just keep scaring people and scare them into that should be. Are you going to vote in person? He breaks it down Electric boat person. I'm 77 Take the risk. Take the chance ago. You know, but this guy like 73 77. Okay. Trump on contracting the virus of the good doctor said were you surprised that President Trump got sick? Absolutely not. I was worried that he was going to get sick when I saw him in a completely precarious situation of crowded, no separation between people. And almost nobody wearing a mask when I saw that on TV, I said Oh, my goodness. Nothing good can come out of that. That's got to be a problem. And then, sure enough, it turned out to be a super spreader event. There are tested before they go in there, and anybody wants to see the president's tested. I know the testing doesn't necessarily catch everybody. You're asymptomatic. Some of the test can't catch it, but they do the best they possibly can to try to test everybody, right? Well, but the best possibly can. Is they at least do social distancing and and have people wear masks, so they didn't do everything they could have been. How did Biden's campaign folks that? How did they come down with it? I don't. I don't know who you're speaking of. There's a lot of people who work for the butt for Biden's campaign that have all been tested positive and come down with a well, I don't think they got at that super spreader event don't know. But they all were mass. That was just weird. That Yeah, they're wearing masks, and they're doing the social distancing. They got it A cz well, right. Yes, I don't know what their particular cases are with. That thing is the biggest spreader of these air these big events and that's what you're trying to avoid. Do we need another lock down? Don't forget it was the fault she described. It is inconvenient for the economy. How bad would things have to get for you to advocate a national lock down? They'd have to get really, really bad. First of all the country. Is fatigued with restrictions, so we want to use public health measures not to get in the way. Of opening the economy but to being a safe gateway opening the economy, So instead of having an opposition opened up the economy, get jaws back or shut down. No. But shut down away and say We're going to use public health measures to help us safely get to where we want to go. There we go. That's really well done. Yeah, Yeah, Thats good. Thats two facilitated. Yes, yes not to shut it down again because, Biden said he might think about doing that It gets in there. If it gets bad again, he shut the he's shut it back down again, Not lonely, act down only if the doctor fashions of the world said That's the only way to deal with it. Yes. Are we dealing with the Cases are dealing with the hospitals being overrun. Well right now that I didn't think we'd hear of that any more since this the spring crisis. But now there are individual states where there are hospitalization crises Now it's not New York City, but in places I forget now, right now, where the something like chicken Some of the state of Wisconsin. That's right there. That's that's bad. Do you want to hear Maurice is his wife talks about? His family struggles his security detail. Here we go. So he has. He likes to Ronnie Center, a bunch of marathons. I don't think he runs, but he just jogger walking into power, Walker now. Yeah, once an avid runner at 79, Dr Fauci, now power walks Flanked by federal agents. What's that all about that sad, the very fact that a public health message to save lives triggers such venom and animosity to me. That it results in really incredible threats to my life and my safety, But it bothers me less than the hassling of my wife and my Children. They've been threatened. Yeah, I mean, like, give me a break..

"We having a lieutenant colonel Oliver north will join us to talk about America's policy in Iran and Iraq what president trump is doing right and what the Democrats proposed to do wrong we'll also get into the media's growing response to Elizabeth Warren going after Bernie Sanders man are they on the war in train it is really amazing and Scott Rasmussen all taught by top polls so big our coming up for you but we begin with the news that Nancy Pelosi has no name for impeachment managers who are yeah yes you close he also suggested today but no matter what happens trump will always be impeached which basically expose the game here which is she never intended for from to be removed from office this is just a mean Ernie Ernie inner impeachment and she got a bunch of Democrats to vote they don't like from interning earning her and that's pretty much the whole story here and in order to exacerbate that a fact she is now pointed in Jerry Nadler's hack and Adam Schiff was an even bigger hacked but Jeff over here here is Nancy Pelosi announcing her impeachment managers who will be heading up this attempt next week starting on Tuesday apparently so today on the floor will pass a resolution naming the managers as I mentioned appropriating the funds for the trial and the transmitting the articles of impeachment of the president of the United States for trying to influence of foreign governments for his own personal and political benefit we are so serious we are the super Sirius's to people in the entire Sirius world oh my gosh I take my role so seriously and seven constitution also need Ernie Ernie that's pretty much it my favorite aspect of her announcement is that she suggests that truck must be impeached because if he is not impeached then Putin and Russia will decide the the outcome of the next election so setting us up for an actual constitutional crisis in which both sides of the aisle can claim that the next election is illegitimate Nancy plus you really saving the Republic by burning it down this is that the constitution of the United States is important figure the president can now and put into now the American voter voters in America should decide who our president is not that a more polluted food chain in Russia not Vladimir pollutant you gotta be careful pollutant you never know when put in is going to steal the election hello she spoke today and suggested that all roads lead rush yesterday she's suggesting Mitch McConnell's a tool of the Russians it's all so boring and so stupid so who did you point she appointed Adam Schiff who of course was manipulating the process from the vaccine I mean it's pretty obvious that that's what was going on from the very get go now get that doesn't speak to the nature of the allegations themselves it is to suggest and has all the credibility on this matter that Elizabeth Warren does on native American ancestry and there's Jerry Nadler who basically shut down all opposite opposition questions didn't bother to call any of the key witnesses in the Judiciary Committee and now there's something amusing watching the Democrats and housing senators don't participate in a cover up if you don't call witnesses that we refused to call that means you're participating in a cover up so you don't need to explain Jerry Nadler manager if these witnesses were also all fired important why did you call them you can call the income of any you can already in call any of them so you're gonna need to explain why you guys do need to call them but if the Senate doesn't call those new witnesses because you didn't do your job and somehow the Senate is participating in a cover up right absolutely ridiculous here is you're never being Jerry Nadler if the Senate doesn't permit the introduction of all relevant witnesses and of all documents of the house once introduced because the house is the prosecutor here then the Senate is is engaging in an unconstitutional and discussing cover up question is does the Senate the Senate is on trial as well as the president of the sentence on trial too so if the Senate doesn't do a Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff want then what Univision which centers you want on page my good luck with all of that Jim Jordan on the house side obviously now I am the president from Ohio he said of course they're gonna be witnesses but is there any witnesses are gonna come from both sides and we are going to have a hunter Biden about not be so pretty for Democrats you can go to the sensei overall you know let the Democrats get the witnesses they want they moved I hope they don't do that again all the facts on the present site hope they dismiss this we get an acquittal right away but if they go to witnesses you got that both sides and we would love to hear from the whistleblower number four hundred thirty five members of the house only one member Adam Schiff only one member knows who the whistle blowers only one member staff at the top to the whistleblower and yet that's the individual who's put our country through four months of this so if you're gonna have witnesses you got to open up for both sides and have a have a real fair process at that point it is indeed a risky business as in a very risky business for Democrats because they're now asking for witnesses to be called and they don't know exactly what they want to hear really meanwhile that Ronnie center from Utah he's as I'd like to hear from John won't listen I'd like to hear from John button to but like who honestly this is going nowhere the whole thing's going nowhere I'd like to be witnesses.

"I put forth to you that there is no such thing as a black and white issue on this subject it simply doesn't exist now there maybe maybe moments of actual disagreement there's nothing wrong with that US questioning which is the best policy there's nothing wrong with that even questioning whether Donald Trump has it right there's nothing wrong with that but there is something definitely wrong with going the low easy route I'm going political on all things and making a determination that it's politically expedient to scream trump let these people die as opposed to what's actually happening the low hanging fruit is a presidential candidates to we are not low hanging fruit we are not those people searching for easy answers rather we want the answer pulling their emotions out of the conversation is everything Tony cats great to be with the attorney cats today eight three three got Tony eight three three four six eight eight six six nine a major Michael Lyons joins us right now CBS news radio military analyst of course of west point and the war institute I don't know whether or not I want to start at the beginning or whether I want to start with this most pressing question were you have president trump saying a we we don't have this the service responsibility to the Kurds we don't have to spend the rest of our lives saving them does the United States let's start there have any responsibility to the Kurds in the re shuffling of troops that we've done more internet is good introductions I've heard on the subject right now it's very very complex and complicated and the president acts up as a new original instinct of keeping a campaign promise but to answer your question no we don't have any responsibility to protect and class of people and anywhere I mean I don't know where that that's that's clearly what the political message has been from trump's opponents I think that if anything we've got to figure out how to get back in touch with our NATO ally Turkey and find out whether that relationship to salvageable or not to be with the fact that they have the weapons within their country overall primary objective of this whole issue is to establish regional order and to your point before stripping emotion out of it because the we salute to the media and again transport one is painted broad brush of what occurred is what occurred looks like an al Kurdi to be protected now Turkey's going to kill all of them if they have that opportunity that's just not the way it is and it's much more complex than that so let's start with who the Kurds are because there are Kurds of northern Iraq there are Kurds in northern Syria and then there is the PKK often known as the Kurdistan workers party is this group of Kurds where Turkey says that they are absolutely terrorists that they've been engaged insurgencies and attacks for years and they believe that the Turks I've that the Kurds of northern Syria have been aiding the Kurds of of Turkey well the Kurds in northern Syria have been working to protect the ISIS fighters that we have captured and imprisoned so far the PKK are they a terrorist organization how the northern Syrian Kurds been supporting the Turkish Kurds and does Turkey have any argument into whether or not they have a legitimate beef with the Kurds well in terms of fighting the specific colors group the PKK in the YPG that soon that the Turks are specifically fighting and where they are primarily is on of that border area in the north and to the east part of where Syria and Turkey alliance and there's millions of people five or six or so million Kurds are on that side of the border who the PKK has been trying to disrupt and where those attacks have been taking place for years and years and that's the group that the Turks want to go after there there's other codes in the region that actually don't mind the Turks for doing this I think that they that that while it's tribal and while they have that commonality there are some that it would be similar to us tonight states that if people are committing crimes can laws we we want them to be stops all Kurds sees the situation of the cards with the same eyes that's right exactly and and I think what it is there's and you want to impact the Kurds have been sympathetic to the civilians in the past as they are in raids with Turkey is to return to what Turkey does too if you're into the Syrian government had as collateral damage in this whole thing so you know they're try he is no question that over the long run they want their own Kurdistan in one area but until you get four nations around Turkey and Syria and Iraq to carve a place out have natural resources all those things to it that's not gonna happen in the way things are right now it's not gonna happen so region or again remains the primary objective of this administration not anymore disoriented during crisis is that could possibly take place because that's the next thing that could happen for let's say the ceasefire goes south here at the end of the day and the Turks now start rolling tanks through civilian enclaves in destroying infrastructure building that's not gonna do any good talking to major Mike alliance CBS news radio military analyst combat veteran operation desert storm bronze stars three southwest Asia campaign stars I already said graduate of west point with a degree in general engineering you if you're trying to impress you done a very good job of it Sir now let's get into the conversation of Turkey we have been discussing this an understanding that the Turks under the one have been much more eastward looking then westward looking we know that Turkey builds parts for the F. thirty five joint strike fighter and at the same time they purchased the S. U. four hundred missile defense system from Russia which is meant to take down the F. thirty five joint strike fighter the wind has shown his bullying side and his his violin side before in the US and in other places we with pastor Brunson we have seen this we understand that he isn't as I would call it the best leader for Turkey and now on the first opportunity whether he is the one who demanded that they be able to roll into Syria for once president trump made a decision he that was over already at the ready to go into Syria this is a NATO ally this is somebody that were selling hardware to they have a formidable army not they couldn't beat us we have a formidable army because of us the question is when you talk about reeling in Turkey or bringing Turkey in what is the relationship between Turkey and NATO and is there is there a possibility of Turkey remaining because as I see it Turkey is looking for a way out and I think NATO should give on the way out the correlation is poor and a lot of it has to do with the fact that five years ago when the bomb administration decided to send troops into Syria I don't think about it we're sending troops into a country having declared war and to work with to the Turks consider to be an enemy of theirs the relationship started to go south of that that that point as well and then now you right he has been more eastward looking and do we allow that to happen but in typical for most of the other NATO countries are sitting on their hands to throwing beer from the bleachers and not doing anything about it United States is going to try to do something about it and that's what you've got now that approved meeting or waiting to see the results of that their meeting and both him and and to the meeting right now to see what Russia is going to do here because you know it if this thing goes any further and there's going to be forced to do something with Turkey I now that would be disastrous if Turkey is all the sudden extracted from NATO or or or whatever the case may be that that would be disastrous in the past Turkey it was then that link for how we talked to countries in the Middle East as an Islamic country it would provide a lot of legitimacy there if that happens a lot of approving clearly wins this this battle between Turkey and the rest in Asia please share this with you this from center appeared alecto I'm sorry sentiment Ronnie center Mitt Romney said this of Turkey on the floor on the well of the Senate the other day was there no chance for diplomacy are we so weekend so inept diplomatically Turkey forced the hand of the United States of America did Turkey force the hand of the United States countries act in their own interests and if you look inside of Turkey is well there are tremendous currents and and others inside a Turkey or other one is actually not very popular in his own country and there are those in this country that wanted him to do this for a long time ago so whether or not it he's the four star hand it just came back to the concept of again countries act in their own best interests and from that that perspective they measured the rest they warned the president the president looked at the numbers I mean we're we're traveling over twenty nine thirty soldiers that are keeping the you know the world from becoming a complete tender box there to me just is incredible just from that perspective and everything and the world we stepped up to twenty thousand thirty thousand troops in order for that to happen but it shows the Turkey had that respect for now and and and so far the their office of operations against the three major towns one call body that's the big one our border towns now that they're clearly violating Syria's border there clearly crossing it to try to create a safe zone but you know in this case this is this is this is a way for arrogant after thing to twenty nine soldiers again keep another country from doing something wrong best interest and that kind of on a second the major my client CBS news radio a military analyst the idea of Turkey walking from NATO or US or NATO moving Turkey out they do have nuclear weapons you have a tremendous amount of U. S. hardware I always assume that the fear is man they're gonna provide that to the highest bidder whether be Russia or China and Hey take a look at what the US does and feel free to copy it is that is that the big here or is there a bigger one that's part of it in the kind of moves they have though are the the air drop well they're not they're not they don't have the real complex ones the I would say more on the tactical side the ones that you know Sir easily detectable I'm given our system that we have right now but the fact that matters they still have them and what what they don't necessarily have those capabilities to deliver them that's all the United States United States controls the codes to them and controls with the the the releases and and all kinds of things so they're still someone inoperable that's to say that they still have the capability any and they could be they could be easily replicated now again you've got to be a fairly industrialized nation in order to create the kind of weapons that they have even run to this to this point is still not enrich uranium enough to create a nuclear weapon fraud and our screens have been and maybe you get this triumvirate of North Korea Iran and Russia and other things another country yeah you could do you could go to that spot but the bottom line is Turkey can't be in possession of these nuclear weapons a specific contaminate and we've got to get our our ammunition out of there immediately once that happens now let's get back to the politics of the thing I have been making the following argument and feel free to disagree you never have to agree with me because I'm a host Mike we we've known each other long enough I have made the argument that I saw the letter that president trump sent to present error one they call the tough guy letter the don't be a fool letter things things like that and I had no issue with the letter per se I wanted that letter sent before any movement of troops and it wasn't that she was really pull that it's kind of like troops were were re arranged I wanted that letter sent out first my argument has been that it appears to me that not enough was done to set up any change to let Turkey no don't be foolish to let the Kurds now here's what's happening is the way it played out was almost as if it was a surprise to everyone that people have told me trump told you in February he was gonna pull out yes and now it's October so why would anybody think this was the moment I why would you not let these groups now Hey we're stepping away don't be crazy am I wrong in that assessment or was there not enough of a a game plan prior to enough pre production before you got to the stage show no I would agree with you there there could have been more the diplomatic side but it just it this administration is stretched thin has a lot of different priorities are different areas and if the status quo and you take a destructive president who in basically works on transactions looks at everything is transaction and says it's time to go keep a campaign promise you could argue maybe it and politically he was trying to shift the narrative off of Ukraine and other things that were going on but we see unfortunate administration is ready fire aim at times he had to send this device president secretary state compared to the region to try to smooth things over and and some of the things that have come out of there have been actually hypocritical frankly I think sending troops to Saudi Arabian thing they're gonna pay form is a little bit hypocritical based on the same concept of bringing troops on and then the latest about having.

"Of Turkey and whether or not they can be trusted as a NATO ally is it the responsibility of the United States to care for the Kurds in Syria for ever and is it different than the Kurds in Iraq certainly different on the Kurds in Turkey woman engaging these insurgents use against Turkey for years I put forth to you that there is no such thing as a black and white issue on this subject it simply doesn't exist now there maybe maybe moments of actual disagreement there's nothing wrong with that US questioning which is the best policy there's nothing wrong with that even questioning whether Donald Trump has it right there's nothing wrong with that but there is something definitely wrong with going the low easy route of going political on all things and making a determination that it's politically expedient to scream trump let these people die as opposed to what's actually happening the low hanging fruit is a presidential candidates the we are not low hanging fruit we are not those people searching for easy answers rather we want the answer pulling there a motion out of the conversation is everything Tony cats great to be with the attorney cats today eight three three got Tony eight three three four six eight eight six six nine a major Michael Lyons joins us right now CBS news radio military analyst of course of west point and the war institute I don't know whether or not I want to start at the beginning or whether I want to start with this most pressing question were you have president trump saying we we don't have this the service responsibility to the Kurds we don't have to spend the rest of our lives saving them does the United States let's start there have any responsibility to the Kurds in the re shuffling of troops that we've done more internet is good introductions I've heard on the subject right now it's very very complex and complicated and the president acts up as a new regional instinct of keeping a campaign promise but to answer your question no we don't have any responsibility to protect and class of people and anywhere I mean I don't know where that that's that's clearly what the political message has been from trump's opponents I think that if everything we've got to figure out how to get back in touch with our NATO ally Turkey and find out whether that relationship salvageable or not to be with the fact that they have nuclear weapons within their country overall primary objective of this whole issue is to regional order and to your point before stripping emotion out of it because it would we salute to the media and again transport one is tempted broad rush of what occurred is what occurred looks like an al Kurdi to be protected now Turkey is going to kill all of them if they have that opportunity that's just not the way it is and it's much more complex than that so let's start with who the Kurds are because there are Kurds of northern Iraq there are Kurds in northern Syria and then there is the PKK often known as the Kurdistan workers party it is this group of Kurds where Turkey says that they are absolutely terrorists that they've been engaged insurgencies and attacks for years and they believe that the Turks I've that the Kurds of northern Syria have been aiding the Kurds of of Turkey well the Kurds in northern Syria have been working to protect the ISIS fighters that we have captured and imprisoned so are the PKK are they a terrorist organization how the northern Syrian Kurds been supporting the Turkish Kurds and this Turkey have any argument into whether or not they have a legitimate beef with the Kurds well the church of fighting the specific cause group the PKK in the YPG that suited the Turks are specifically fighting and where they are primarily is on of that border area in the north and to the east part of where Syria and Turkey aligned and there's millions of people five or six or so million Kurds there on that side of the border who the PKK has been trying to disrupt and where those attacks have been taking place for years and years and that's the group that the Turks want to go after there there's other Kurds in the region that I actually don't mind the Turks for doing this I think that they that that wow that's troubling while they have that commonality there are some that it would be similar to optimize states that if people are committing crimes can laws we we we want them to be stops all Kurds see the situation of the cards with the same eyes that's right exactly and and I think what it is there's and wants to impact the Kurds have been sympathetic to the civilians in the past as they are in a race with Turkey is to return to what Turkey does too yes the end of the Syrian government had as collateral damage in this whole thing so I you know their truck yes no question that over the long run they want their own Kurdistan they one area but until you get four nations Iran Turkey and Syria and Iraq to carve a place out have natural resources all those things to it that's not gonna happen in the way things are right now it's not gonna happen so region or again remains the primary objective of this administration not anymore additional humanitarian crisis is that could possibly take place because that's the next thing that could happen for us to the ceasefire goes south here at the end of the day and the Turks now start rolling tanks through civilian enclaves in destroying infrastructure building that's not gonna do any good talking to major my alliance CBS news radio military analyst combat veteran operation desert storm bronze star "Form at KQED dot org only read some comments here rich writes I thought close he would wait until the election was closer to control more of the news cycle to influence the election resolve this how do you how does that figure into this obviously were you already have say election season certainly in terms of presidential politics how do you think she figures that the looming election in all of this you know calculation I mean I think it'll be interesting to see I can't imagine I mean this process is going to play out super quickly I I think it'll start quickly but these things could drag on for months and I and I think that this was certainly a part of some of the calculation your hearing I'm from folks who had been sort of. defending below sea I mean it doesn't really seem like the events of the last few weeks you served any plan Democrats would have about trying to time this for the election I mean it really did happen very quickly over really the weekend in an earlier this week in terms of the sort of revolt an avalanche of more moderate Democrats. coming to back listen and the revelations that have dropped out over this Ukrainian phone call in and everything that came after it but I do think that there's an argument to be made that it's not the worst thing in the world for Democrats that this is closer to the election and that a year ago and because people are paying attention or right now and I think because yeah because I mean depending on what they find and how things go as you said I mean it's like the molar testimony was not you know made for TV right there is no there is no attack ads that the dems could cut out of that we'll see what happens with this case but I do think it raises the question that it also is the question that because our stuff on the democratic primary because I mean we've gone from talking only about that and I cook for a couple weeks to only about this and I think that that can be yeah absolutely yeah in that regard mark standalone who do you think this this turn of events here who does it help who does it hurt in the presidential primary well I it might might my knee jerk reaction V. that Elizabeth Warren is a big step and Fisher simply because you know trump this hurts Biden doesn't look so good I mean even if you believe I and there's no there's no reason to believe that Joe Biden did anything corrupt here except that his son did take a position with this energy company but Reese mine the Ukraine presumably not because you know the thing about the Ukraine or oil but because does what was vice president the time and that stinks I mean they may not be Joe Biden's for fault it certainly is not a crime but it's just stinks and it's a reminder to people the Joe Biden been around for ever and they have all sorts of baggage so in that sense maybe help you his competitors in this but I mean that that's the real danger for Democrats he is also that there are number of Democrats who are in districts that that that that voted for Donald Trump and already you hear that from trump Republicans went went when you ask them just in the last seventy two hours isn't this a crime isn't this impeachable the answer is Democrats don't do anything. but impeachment that's all they do which of course is an answer but that's what they say trump tweeted this somehow Democrats you have to get the message I mean the house under Nancy Pelosi this year has passed laws to regulate guns it has passed laws to lower drug prescription drug prices is passed laws to expand voting rights and to end discrimination in voting at the problem is with the no Republicans with no democratic majority in the Senate there those are getting no where but Democrats do run the risk of seeing being seen as sort of this you know this. dog that never will let go of Donald trump's tale in there aren't awful lot of folks especially those who don't pay a lot of attention to politics who were going to say that's that's gonna that's gonna discredit any of the message the Democrats Emory so what about coming here as we did mention her what impact you think it has on her chances I I don't know that it directly impacts her I think that you know for all the democratic candidates we have a another debate coming up in a couple weeks I think it'll be interesting to kind of see how they handle it they've been way far out I had a policy and and and the democratic caucus on this obviously for political reasons you know I I do think that there is this interesting you know. what we have seen with trump is a base that has stuck by him and a Republican Party that has stayed with him for the same reasons because quite frankly a lot of Republican members of Congress are worried that if they come out and say anything mean about trump that there are you know constituents will turn against them look at primary or they'll get primary and I and I do think that it'll you know if whatever this investigation uncovers there's a lot beyond this phone call that I think Democrats have been kind of chomping at the bit to dig into further I mean we haven't you know what about the emoluments questions what about the tax return you know there's a lot of things that have nothing to do with Russia that could be fertile ground for Democrats and so I think that you know if what would be interesting is if you do see any slip in those really hard core numbers for trump and if that changes the calculation for Republicans we also have a lot of Republicans are retiring and just saying I'm done I'm walking away yeah here's a comment from up here who writes a Democrat should concentrate on finding a candidate they can beat trump impeachment does not guarantee conviction specially with the Senate that's in the tank for trump if the Democrats failed trump will play the martyr card and rally his base to give him even more money and make it that much harder for the Democrats to beat him and we're so that is certainly a restaurant going to do that anyway and I do think that this was a moment for Democrats with these latest allegations that was sort of like you got to do something or not because all we've been hearing is this impeachment talk and I think that in in a weird way moving forward politically satisfies both bases it yes trouble continue to use it but he was using it anyway right he was talking of the witch hunt all the time and I think that you know close the from a political perspective has at least succeeded in getting all these lefty activist off about it so it at this point I think it's too soon to tell of this a winner loser and mark you know in the Senate which of course this would go to if the house does vote to impeach president trump I you're beginning to see some you know I don't of cracks might be too strong a. word but sentiment Ronnie center Ben Sasse from Nebraska see giving more credence to the whistle blower complaint raising concerns about what's stated in their then say Lindsey Graham or certain Mitch McConnell's actually been pretty quiet on all this what do you what do you make of where the Republicans are because as you know students of history will remember it was in nineteen seventy four the finally when a group of Republicans went over to Richard Nixon in the White House and said you know what it's time that's when it all came crashing down yeah I I think crack somewhat it overstated even yeah I mean and I don't even when the call that I mean then Romney and sass have both been critical of trump in the past and so even if both of them and neither of them is even hinted that they went vote to convict him on impeachment charge but even if they did so you got to down and now you need I think US seventeen or twenty one more you need sixty six votes the constitution says that half of the house votes and Democrats have half of the house that is impeachment but then the trial goes to the Senate in Eugene two thirds of the Senate to convict and you know right now Republicans have now we majority in the Senate but you have to convince several of them to vote against even get a majority let alone two thirds and of course anything could happen but I remember pelo she saying very strongly now we're going back to the the to the bush years her saying why would I waste all this time and take up all of Washington's energy to go after all anybody will talk about is the impeachment and if we are successful which is very unlikely then we're gonna end up with president Cheney and going back to your timely question Scott I mean I do think that at least Democrats are pretty confident that if for some miracle they were successful in the sand and trump with thrown out of office in with president pence I think they're pretty confident that almost anyone in the democratic field could V. could it could be a day you know we can vice president pence at this point car I want to bring in a new voice here congresswoman Anna Eshoo a member of the house representing California's eighteenth congressional district for. tions of San Matteo Santa Clara and Santa Cruz counties in Congress woman issue thanks for joining us this morning thank you Scott of delighted to be with you I wonder if you could you've been in of course these meetings this week with speaker Pelosi someone you've known for decades you're very one of her closest I think allies in Congress can you how would you characterize her evolution of thinking on it this week on this impeachment question. well what what I would say is anyone that second guesses are under estimates Nancy Pelosi does so at their own their own peril she she could see into the future relative to this whole issue of impeachment she was measured about it no one courses her and she does not coerce others she was always instructive to members saying to them you take your own position which you have to do to win and then this fell into our laps and so she is always said the American people need to understand. and that she quotes link and every five minutes that public sentiment is everything without it very little can be done and so she's demonstrated you know how measured she is the fourth oldest that she brings to at what she sees is a is a you know a long pathway so this is change the plates of the earth have shifted weed California no with that the what that means and that we are only about how high the number is on the Richter scale and so this is a new in Corey that she has called for and it is limited to the situation at hand and that is the whistle blower what the president said and did who else is is that you know involved in it and it's about our national security and our constitution now the work that the agenda Judiciary Committee did prior to this will not be thrown overboard about this as the inspector general said in his report that he sent to the D..

"Let him know that you appreciate him sponsoring this program David Graham what a what a great guy eight one three six four five one two three three without him a we wouldn't be here I we wouldn't we be gone eight one three six four five one two three three a guy that that this generous in helping us keep this program going I'm I mean you know you really need to give them a call and let him know that you really appreciate his service so again please call David are you don't have to do business with them that's okay let him know at least that you appreciate his help with us Johnny still there Jack you still there yeah there you are okay we were talking about a homeowner use and we only got about three minutes here how old you know he if they have a were those holes and Alemannic types sprayers you can they can purchase your products same thing I'm doing right same thing that that I've got same exact product in fact and they can apply it themselves but you know someone but they don't know what to buy can you maybe you can give them a a by this this and this is your first test how's that absolutely so this is the best part about it now right now as most of the state is in a blackout yes if you're dealing right then you really want to go out there and feed the lawn we have a few things you can but at this time one is that microgram product the jurors are to you you can run that out it's it's a low rate six ounces per thousand so that one job we'll be able to treat half an acre wow okay sick so you have a lot in one single job so they're going out once a month they could treat that almost to the end of using that one product Michael Greene until the zero two zero dash zero dash two zero zero two and they could use that through September thirtieth so the lack of okay right okay back you go at that can go out every month that you know if you have a five thousand square foot long he congratulates you're gonna get almost five treatment out of that particular gallon well that there's two to three other ones that you can apply as well because people do love their lawn they can go out one would be our error rate which is a a chemical aeration product with the higher dose at the end and it helps to just keep water flowing through when you're getting is heavy rain the summer rains and all help to reduce stress all my gosh if you got like kids or dogs or pets that have been on your lawn continuously maybe parked cars on your grass you gotta tried people I've you we've used it and every product it works really well really big action and really relieving plant strapped in that hi to keep the plant from getting to water log yeah are GF with another one but it that that that you make and help product that really helps to stimulate deeper rooting and then just a straight humic acid product can be put out as well as all of those can be done monthly but you have to understand now happening here's your cue an acre out of the RG at while half an acre out of the error rate and and happen acre out of the human so you get a whole lot of material and really big horn Jack let's stop right there because I got to go for a break but I want to know and I'm sure they do what to purchase after the blackout period because then bye okay I'm input channel can stand by are you course you're listening to Florida gardening all right here on newsradio WFLA news traffic and weather Tampa bay's news radio WFLA an outbreak of hepatitis eight has it seventeen Florida counties hard and prompted the state to declare a public health emergency it's just a way to make sure that we're doing all we can to try to head this off governor Ronnie center says the declaration triggers federal help from the CDC most of the reported cases have come from around Tampa Bay and in central Florida if not an emergency the governor has concern about red tide in has formed a task force to research causes and develop solutions to the toxic algae that particularly played the southwest Florida coast last year a couple from Wesley chapel north of Tampa faces charges accused of running from a fatal crash they cost and a carjacking to escape cops say thirty one year old Cody berry and twenty three Breanna right also crashed a stolen car later in plant city with Florida's news I'm John the question from the Florida central credit union auto loans traffic center no troubles to report this morning on I four to seventy five for I seventy five throughout the greater Tampa Bay area traffic is also currently up.

"But that's I there were so many times in the process of writing the three bucks where I was like God, I hope that one of us doesn't try to off the fuck out in the middle of a project that would be mayor, especially because we do have the work divided. Were you good with each other are- like not play good question? We've personally we've talked this on the ground and Michelle are best friends. Like we regardless of how our lives like play out. We're the kind of people who know each other in our eighties time. It was happening. We both needed to be by selves. And when we got the book deal like working on a creative projects with somebody. And then also trying to be soft and sweet and kind movement rejecting each other's jokes concepts and ideas me fucking stupid. Okay. Now. Hold me. No. That's not been one hundred decisions a day. And then you're like, okay. Let's go try to go to dinner or something. Like, it's not talk about work. Yeah. Well, that's what happened with John everything just became about work, and he was already like work inundated with his own dream of his own business. And then, but he willingly made a choice to be part of this. I guess to take responsibility to its forced him. But then everything became about work. And it was just like we couldn't get away from that. And then I think there was just a lot of resentment on his side from just I don't really know can't speak for him. But I think. There was just a lot of resentment about a lot of things, of course, especially if he feels like he's been giving so much of his time away from his business to this. And now he's going to be part of it late. That's what is centrally. Yeah. Of yours. But we shown I talked and we're like listen like, given where we come from this kind of opportunity doesn't like doesn't come to people like us, we we don't come from fancy backgrounds, and we're like we have an opportunity to maybe do something really dope. And do we just gore on ways and sort of like, this was a fun run? But it's it's done or do we act like dolts, and we try to make something really cool. And, but I also, you know, there were weeks where it was harder, and it was easier, and there were sometimes there's motherfucker. Time could be Ronnie center for like three or four days. Fuck it. Go jumping the fucking ocean. I mean, that's a special kind of relationship that doesn't not everyone gets really great that you could figure out those roadblocks and be really good, friends and business partners. That's that is beautiful, and it is beautiful you've been to. But something that is though like it's a very real path either one of us could have gone down to as well. And so that's why it was so interesting to watch your career from afar being like what's going to happen? What's going to happen? Then I noticed that he wasn't in the videos anymore for a while. But I was like, okay. Well, how is she going to do like how could I have done it? If not was like actually piece the fuck out. There's a lot of people who have asked us like, hey, do you have any like like like my partner or thinking about doing company together, we're and do create a project, and we're just like don't if you love them if you care about them and things are good with your relationship. Do not get going to business don't do project like just just love each other. If you've been with your partner for a lot lot longer, but we hadn't been together all that long memorial that stuff happened. And so no, yeah. And are you guys good at all? Like, do you have any kind of relationship at this point? Like just it took us a year to settle all of our own house together. Yeah. He didn't own actually any of the business. So come on paper. So that made it sort of easier. Yeah..
