France advances to semifinals at World Cup, tops England 2-1
"Morocco became the first African nation to ever reach the World Cup semi stunning Portugal one nil behind use offended series header in the 42nd minute. Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo came out in the 51st and registered just one attempt on goal. And the life fixture was a sweeping boot from just outside the box by France is a really in shoe amen that opened the scoring in the 17th. England's Harry Kane scored the equalizer on a penalty in the 54th, but missed a crucial one in the 84th. That was the difference after France's Olivier Giroud headed home across from Antoine Griezmann in the 78th to give the French the two one win and send the defending champs back to next week's semis. "Christian Ronaldo and fork retainer Ronaldo. This is why Portugal are better. Because everybody now is playing at a different level and Christina Ronaldo has to find a way to accept that. And still the reports are coming out. We've seen some reports today that Cristiano Ronaldo refused to train with the subs the day after this. We'd like to shed some light on the credibility of those Alexis Nunez, as I mentioned, is outside the Portugal team hotel right now. What are you hearing there, Alexis? Yeah, Kay, we're just another city outside of Doha pretty much about 40 minutes outside of Doha writing in front of the Portugal team hotel, which is pretty much a fortress. I mean, this is as close as we could get to it. We're in the parking lots and why not? Because all eyes have been on Portugal after that massive win last night and all eyes will continue to be on one man Cristiano Ronaldo. Today is the first day that we've had without any games in this World Cup it was supposed to be a chill day, but a lot of people flocked to that Portugal training today and look, it wasn't a major training. It was just to keep the guys moving, the boys in studio will know what it's like. Those that were the starters yesterday parts of the starting 11, they did some work in the gym with resistance bands and whatnot. And then the rest of the subs that came on. They were out. They had their football boots on, and they did train like that. Cristiano Ronaldo, who was a sub yesterday, as you know by now, was not a part of the subs and said he chose to train with the boys inside the gym. He was seen using resistance bands, he didn't put on his football boots at any point. He stayed in his trainers and kind of kept things lightly. What we can not confirm, though, we've spoken to a number of the journalists that were there is whether it was his decision or not so we can not outright say that he refused to train with the subs or if that was just parts of the plan. They did ask the Portuguese media there. If, you know, maybe he was carrying something, even though he didn't start yesterday and the Portuguese FA rubbish that claim they said no, he's perfectly fine, but they didn't give any more details. Now Portugal are set to have a media session a press conference with Fernando Sanchez on Friday ahead of their quarterfinal match, no doubt a lot of those questions will be about Cristiano Ronaldo because everybody continues watching him under a magnifying glass, but for now we can not say that he refused to play or train with the subs. However, he did not take part on the pitch instead he did all his work inside the gym. When you have a player, not just that good, but that old in your squad, whether it's a club team or an international shade, when you have a plate of 37 years of age, probably every day that there's going to be any sort of train and the manager, the coach, the fetish court, whoever's in charge, will go to that player and say, how are you feeling today? Should you do a bit today? Should you leave it? Should you do a better stretch and so it shouldn't be a surprise that every day for an hour is different. This has got nothing to do with this stuff we've been talking about. I don't think this is about what's best for the player, which ultimately is going to be best for the squad F is to be brought on in again. So they're making a mountain out of a molehill. This report I'm just seeing that players of that age are dealt with a little differently than any other player. Right. Well, Cristiano Ronaldo was actually distanced himself from reports of him going to the Saudi Arabian side, Al NASA for what would be an exorbitant fee

"From the from the other players and then changed his mind and thought I'd better show some respect for the rest of my teammates and Portugal as a national side. But there's just the right thing that they are doing both the culture and the player putting these statements out there ally. No, of course. Everybody's saying the right things. As to how Cristiano Ronaldo feels, well we don't really know. We have to judge Christiana Ronaldo much more so by actions than whatever statement he puts out on Instagram. Or whatever social platform he decides to utilize. Yesterday, as a team was going to celebrate with their fans, Christina Ronald by himself started walking away into the locker room. Now, this is not me making this up. This is the action of Christian or Ronaldo. So the team is celebrating, they're going through their fans. They're clapping. Everybody's together, and he's going the opposite direction. That sort of behavior is very similar to what we saw from Christiana Ronaldo and Manchester United. But perhaps he has taken a step back. Perhaps he has seen the bigger picture, perhaps he has seen the light. And he now understands that he has an important role to play with this team, but it's not going to be a starting role. There may be a moment in which they need a big goal from Christian or Ronaldo, but it's not going to be from the beginning of the game, because what we saw from Portugal yesterday without Ronaldo on the field and with everybody else not only Gonzalo Ramos, but everybody else and the attitude of the group as a whole was 18 that was free. A team that was now more dynamic that you weren't just looking for Ronaldo that you weren't just looking to play somebody you were looking for the right path and the right movement. Everybody utilizing their own brains, not his brain, their own brains, to see the game to react to the game and make the decisions that made sense to them. Now that made decisions that are not made decisions that made sense to

"Fast. It's unbelievable. I think that is the root of this. He's so frustrated at what he can't do anymore. He's talking about what he wants to do off the picture rather than doing it on the pitch, and this scene is old about Ronaldo for the wrong reasons. Storming out of the ground before then the game gets taught him. Storming out of the ground before the end of the gaming spike handle. And now this, you know, going on air to criticize the club when it just come off the back of one of the best wins of the season for them. A guy that scored a gold ganache of a Ronaldo style goal in the last minute of the game. Man united won without Ronaldo the weekend, the moving on with that Ronaldo and he can't handle it. He said that a few weeks ago he just have not played as well when he's been in the team. But if you go back, we talked a few weeks ago a couple of months ago, I said here, it's not the story anymore. It's not the story on the field. He knew he wasn't the story on the field. So he made it the story. He's made it the story in terms of everybody's talking about him. But let's be Frank about and Mark touched on this. When he talked about one of the things he talked about was the evolution of the club when Sir Alex left. He's right about that. But as Mark said, he knew about that. No, I presume he's quite a great guy. I don't know him, but I'm presuming he's a bright guy, so he should have been bright enough to know it was amateurs making recruitment decisions and bad ones, right? So he should have known that. It was amateurs making managerial decisions. The appointment of oligarch who should never have been there. And maybe that was part of the reason that Ronaldo went back to man united, because source car was so weak and soft, that he could manipulate that situation, whereas he can't manipulate this guy. Who's got a better CV has got a proven track record as a manager and who will make decisions. And one of those big decisions is to decide that Christian or an outlook is a squad player. And he can't handle it. He can't handle it. He's had two decades of praise. He's had two decades of praise and he can't handle the fact that he's just a bet part on this side of a pretty average football team, not even man city. Not arsenal, not any of the guys that are the teams that are going to be fighting for the top. You can't handle the fact that he has no a squad player at man united and quite frankly it kind of worked out any better for Eric chain hard. I'm sure it's an Manchester or whatever, couldn't give a stuff. It was the old one emote. And here's the problem. Here's the problem. In February, Christiana Ronaldo tons of 38. Now, he may get a move in January, just before he tossed out here, but who the hell out there and the managerial world at the moment once a 38 year old problem. Yeah. That's what he is because if he goes somewhere and he doesn't play, then the same actions will take place and managers will get thrown under the bus. I just want to piggyback on that to mark. If people didn't want him in the summer after he was top scorer, why would they want him now, Mark? Well, this is one thing that we need to get straight and Ronaldo. And I think that it's been lost a little bit. Cristiano Ronaldo has been available on a free transfer since the summer. People have told me that they were ready to let him go on a free transfer. No takers. Nobody was interested. It was 500,000 pounds a week, like creating these 38 in February. He hasn't scored it's got three goals all season, doesn't create many goals. Like Craig says, why would you bring in a problem? Why would you add a divisive character to your dressing room? So there was no takers then. And unless there's a club in the Champions League that is desperate for striker. There isn't one right now. There's often to go. I think all these hoping for is a good World Cup, he scores a couple of goals in the World Cup as well, and also a big player, a big striker, maybe gets injured and employs him, needs somebody to come in. But even then, if you're a Barcelona, all these big clubs that might be the striker. You're not going to bring him Ronaldo, because he's going to upset all the stars you've got. Anyway, so it's basically looking at Saudi Arabia, Qatar. Maybe MLS. I'm not sure if I'm a less worker or an Aldo. I don't know. But that is what he's looking at. That is the sum total of Cristiano Ronaldo's career, what remains. And it won't appeal to him. But equally, united has got a problem in the sense that they want him out of the car get rich. So it may have to cancel this contract, which ultimately makes him the winner because that's what that is what he's playing for. That is what he's trying to do. He's trying to make himself unemployable. It's funny it sucks, basically. A monitor like this sack Roy Keane back in 2005, it terminates contract and getting to situation where this might have to happen with Ronaldo. But by doing so, in many ways, 90 united allowing Christiana rail. So when maybe it's maybe it's just bold then to that now. It's a part of the eagles between Christiana Ronaldo and the glazers. They don't want him to win an equally he doesn't want to stick around, but this world we're at. The headline is great. And he feels betrayed by man united. I would suggest he's the one that's betrayed them. It's between them on the field with three goals, two of them began sheriff in 16 games, and what he's just done in a cent of you has betrayed Manchester United. So I think the betrayal actually has gone the other way. Now, to be fair, hey, dead score a lot of goals last year. Yeah, but Eric ten hag wasn't there. And Eric saying how everybody else an employee of Manchester United is an employee to make big decisions as augie touch time and he's already shown, not that it comes as a brace because I think we'll certainly knew he was prepared for that that is made the big decisions in the big decision is the future going forward does not involve this guy in a regular basis now then he asked the question how is he going to handle this? You know part of their squad, we have quite a few young players. You can play a part in helping us make this evolution. And he's clearly special and that he's not willing to do that. No, the apology from the other week. Now it just seems so thinly veiled. It's quite scary when he trotted off. Let's be honest, let's just nothing more than a football. This is nothing more than a football betrayal, right? This is only because he's not the main man, it's only because he's not in the foster 11 and it's only because he's sitting on the bench watching this team perform. It's nothing else. It's nothing else. He knew as Mark said how the glazers run the ship. He knew already who was manager when he came to the club.

"But what he does right now, I don't know if people can support that, I'd not. I'm not supporting that. Mark, how is this being received by the Manchester United supporters? I think pretty much, I'd say 99% of the united fans are without tan hag on this. I think they've all lost paces of Ronaldo that are sick of hearing the usual kind of it's ten house fights to kill them throughout the closer at fast me out. The players don't like this other. I think it's sick of the excuses. And I think Ronaldo until recently was a massively popular figure at the United States. There's a real love and affection for him. And I think that it's done well to kind of demolish that in a space of a few weeks, but I think ten hag is under the brilliant line. I think what the funds like about and haggis that he's done that he's been strong. He's dealt with it. And not only that is actually for the first time he may be ten years ten he's showing the signs that he's actually a manager that can put money out back and track again. So I think the fun thing that Ted haggis in some respects circuit, the savior. So he is now a more popular figure than Christian Ronaldo. So if Christian islands and anything, he's done that, he's made himself less popular than the manager. And I think it said a lot of things in this interview. And I think I'm going to be fair on this. And there are some elements that he's probably right. I think you also saw a bit of a false promise when he went back to united and he walked back to a club that was completely different when he left. And he was expecting a club to challenge control please and challenge for the Premier League. That was probably naive considering where United were at the time. But to complain about the state of Carrington the training ground fair point, it's been left to neglect to complain about the owners and the glades of senators of commercial club. It has a point, but Cristiano Ronaldo knew about the glaciers before he left Real Madrid and you eventually come back to the united he was there in on the glaze the first time around. And nobody can criticize a club for being commercially driven, like Cristiano Ronaldo, because his career has been based on maximizing the commercial value of his playing careers in a fantastic player, but he knows how to exploit a commercial brand. So your character is as declared as for doing that. But ultimately, what has been said about San haig and the team is just totally out of order because ten hacks have lived in brilliantly to say he's disrespected in many captain two weeks ago. He actually made him captain for what he's probably going to be his last ever appearance in a man united shirt. United lost 5 games this season and it Ronaldo started for the other one was man city away in the public lost anywhere. So Ronaldo now is a liability monitor. Obviously speak that people they've looked at it and they say, look at you start to start to show you that when he plays the team play worse, the team lacks something from another place. He's not the player he was three, four, 5 years ago. You can't run. It isn't press. Does it score goals anymore? Let's go three goals all season. 2 million against sheriff in the year old league. So he's the one he was. He's gone off a cliff, sold

Okay, which one of them is more likely to happen? I'll give this to Robin. Arsenal in the league or Newcastle finishing in the top four. Arsenal. No, Newcastle finishing in the top four, right? Yeah. Gab? You know, I got the answer I would have given until last week. Having watched arsenal yesterday, I'm going to say arsenal finishing and having watched city more like yesterday. I'm going to say arsenal of winning the league. I do not think them all season again. Is this the first time? No, no, I never. I've only started watching football yesterday. This is a move today. "I don't think so. No, I think he's probably going to go back to Portugal. I think that would be my guess. Back where he knows it's unconditional love and he can do it. He wants. And he's not going to have to even if people ask him to apologize. He's not going to have to deal with any of that. He'll be able to do what you want. And as far as his father is having somebody talking to him and addressing them, let's be honest, you have to be you have to be available to take to take a little bit of advice. Regardless of who's telling you, you could have apparently a messy and nut dressing room and Ronaldo. These years will be shot claws that will matter as he's in the position where it doesn't want to hear it. It doesn't matter who's telling them he thinks he knows best. Everything's against her. It's not fear always be. So for any advice, he just wants to do it as we're, but to answer your question, as I said, I think Portugal is a place for them. But come to America, your Christiana Ronaldo, you're going to get all that love, all that attention, that you obviously get in Portugal, but this is the states. You know, it's going to be big time. And you're going to get all the attention, but it's all positive attention. Attention. Thank you for being here. Thank you. Yes. Is that sort of environment? And my notes, the pressure. The fact that you can be a superstar and people are just going to gravitate towards you just because of that. Not because they expect a certain level of performance. MLS would be drooling. And drooling for the opportunity to have greater general come to major league soccer. It's something that for MLS prospective makes all the sense in the world. From Christian's perspective, that's different. That's such a complex mind that we're dealing with in such a complex personality that he has to be fully on board because otherwise he may become somebody else's headache here in Major League Soccer if he's not willing to comply with some of the things that go on in this league. What's interesting, Shaq, you think, what when he scored that first free kick for Manchester United against you? Back in the day. And the legacy that he felt at Manchester United. And what he achieved under allowed him to build. Yes, of course. You're so giving. And then of course, after Juventus, how we beat city, we got our boy back home, share prices go up. Shirt sales explode. This is damaged his legacy, isn't it? No question. I think it has. Not to the point that I think anybody hops on it long-term. Once he's done playing, but just given the reputation that he's built for himself, as a player, I don't see how this helps. And you wanted, I think anybody who's had that kind of career, you want to see a graceful exit. For both player and whatever clubs, he's involved with. You feel that the game deserves that they all deserve that. And I don't think that's the case, especially with him being back at Manchester United, to your point. If this happens at an event as argument sick, I think it's less damaging than going back to united and it happening in this way. Where he goes from here or how he moves on, he will clearly define. I think the other side of that same discussion about whether it comes to MLS and the kind of love, wherever another lands on the planet, he's going to get that kind of love. Yes. That's the one thing as long as it's just about his presence and is less about how much he elevates the team. He's going to get that love, whether it's here in the U.S., whether it's in the Middle East, where whether it's back in Portugal. He is going to get that. So this can be mended. I don't think it's a critical blow to legacy, but it's one that I think the game could have done with them. What it is is for the Christian Ronald apologies that this is only a bleep. This is not. What did you expect? Absolutely. Absolutely. So those people, you kind of put to one side. Now, if you are somebody who has thought that Christian Ronaldo was all about his ego, was all about him first, and then everybody else, this is I'm talking not only feel to the fire. It's just dropping a ball mount. It's like, here you go, go ahead. Because it just feeds into every perception that you had of our criterion Ronaldo. Every thought that you've had a crater on Aldo before that you maybe thought maybe he's not as arrogant as we think he is. Maybe his ego is not as big as we think it is. You're like, oh, no, yes, it is. Now, yes, it is. My bad. Yes, it is. And so it does, I think it does create a divide between those that really don't like it. And those that love Cristiano Ronaldo, and those are located in Ronaldo, will harden their position. And those that do not, now, even more than before, they're obviously holding fast to their opinions. What kind of is defined the narrative of this conversation looking forward as Manchester United as a hold on is their performances of late without Christiana Ronaldo, obviously a great arguably their best showing so far this season that win against spurs. If they're losing three zero and you don't bring him on and he storms

"Okay. But at some point, he must have had a lot. We want to take it a look and say, it walked off. I'll tell you what, I'll tell you what's more likely the fact that, yeah, somebody actually wrote it. And within the statement was, I'm sorry, I said, no, you got to delete that. You got to delay that. I don't want a piece of that. My point is, ego doesn't allow you to see what's so very obvious. It's obvious to everybody else, but you're so far in it. You're so elbow deep and knee deep in it that you don't me? Christian. Apologizing to Manchester United for what I've done for this club. Are you kidding me? Are you joking? You're lucky I'm putting out a statement. It thinks of being relate to this quite well. As you see what Ronaldo walking on the sidelines, the first thing that came to my mind was the 2006 2016 European way comes off injured and it stands on the sidelines, not just cheering on, but coaching. And I think that shoulder side of Ronaldo that maybe we didn't expect. And for as much praise as he got then, for that, I think he's deserving of just as much criticism this time around. We talked to her for about how vocal you were in the dressing room, is there any point in anybody ever senior level within that squad talking to him? No. Well, no, because I don't think anyone's got a voice there, Dan. That's the problem. I don't think there's any experience in there that was stand up. I think it's quite interesting when you look back 6 months ago, I think Kia leni and bellucci were quite adamant and quite open on their relationship and what Ronaldo done to the dressing room. Those are the figures that you need to get older Ronaldo, united haven't got that. So if you're a player in that dressing room and you're looking at what Ronaldo doesn't last night and you looked at the work ten hards doing as the manager and maybe 6 months ago under Ralph Randy or a little bit beforehand under Ollie, you might have sort of sided with Ronaldo because he's such a legendary character figure player. You might have sort of drifted with him a little bit. Now as I said, if you're a young player there and you're looking at what Ronaldo has done and you're looking at the manager in the work that he's doing, no question you are walking and you are heading towards what ten hawks do because he's the future not Ronaldo. And I agree with the boys ten hogs put his foot down the morning after the night before and he's just squashed it he's shown his authority and he said, listen, I'm the boss here. What you've done last night will never happen again. If I happens again, probably is probably finished forever, but it's just a stain down. It's a shame and it's a stain on a legendary figure and what he's done in the game, but he is getting to the point as the lads are saying. It's all about him, a blind man could see what he was going to do. We've seen it last season when rank didn't want to play him in a man city game. So he had to let potential hip endure a back injury, mystery one that no one could see. This was always going to blow up at some point and it's done it last night and as I said before, if you're an address room, you are going with a manager 100%. MLS next stop, Stevie.

"For the last 20 years playing elite football and respect has always played a very important role in my decision making process. I started very young the older and most experienced players examples were always very important to me. Therefore, later on, I've always tried to set the example myself for the youngsters that grew in all the teams that I've represented. Unfortunately, that's not always possible and sometimes the heat at the moment gets the best of us. Right now, I just feel like I have to keep working hard in Carrington, support my teammates and be ready for everything in any given game. Giving in to the pressure is not an option, it never was. This is Manchester United and united we must stand soon will be together again. Was there an apology there? That's very much the point. Isn't it? As you all come in, Stevie, and Don Hutchinson. What's interesting, John, I thought he was always like that. This invention and united we must stand soon we'll be together again. Hey, they're all together. This is the best they played all season. They're doing fine, Ronnie. You're the big problem here. Does he just not see it? I don't think he does that. This is the beginning of the end. I think the saddest part of the whole situation was situation was when Ronaldo actually walked off the pitch with a couple of minutes ago, his teammates didn't even know he'd done it. And that is actually quite sad. I think the statement was full of waffle, you know, talking about respect in his teammates and he didn't respect his teammates. The manager had a couple of subs that he could have potentially made towards the end of the game. He didn't want to come on the pitch. He was petulant. It's all about him. And I don't think man you can ever move on until Ronaldo goes. It's one of these sad situations that they find themselves in. I think Eric tan Hagen the club have done exactly the right thing. It's a bold move, but I think it's the right move, taking him completely at the squad for the Chelsea game. And now I think for ten hard going forward, he can either go one or two ways. He can never play Ronaldo again. I don't think you will. I think you're playing in the games that he chooses to play in, which might be Thursday nights he wrote the league. And then just concentrate on keeping people like martial, rashford, Langer, Sancho, Anthony, all the guys that are important to man united, together in the squad. I think this is, as I said, the beginning of the end for Ronaldo. The one thing I disagree with Don their own is I think Manchester United have moved on. It's not a case of Manchester United car move on until Ronaldo Ronaldo's soul or its contractors up or whatever it may be. I think the final institution really well. I think for all the questions around ten hag coming into a club of Manchester United stature,

We are talking about one of the top score in the history of football. But definitely I'm sure he's working on what the guys mentioned in before. Try to be calm sometimes no russet thinks. You get frustrated when you miss chances. And if you are thinking about what I just missed, probably you're gonna miss the next one. "And it's hard to see or believe that Ronaldo at any point is struggling for confidence. He never makes it feel that way. But you could just see that he seemed to get more and more tense as a game as a game went on because despite this call line, I'm on your should not have been in this picture at all. Manchester United were by far the better team and had they played as the ordinarily would, this could have been four or 5 by halftime as opposed to going in at the break with ammonia and elite. But everything about Manchester United was about getting the ball to Ronaldo. And then once as TV writer points out, once that first challenge doesn't go in, things just seem to get more and more tense in that regard. Not let Manchester United ever lost grasp of the game, but it just says he seemed to get more tense in front of goal, which is really odd to be talked to be seeing about somebody who's called the kind of cause that he has. But such as his form right now, that it's going to take one that just hits him in the knee and goes in because right now it's just not coming together for me. It's only one club goal this season and that was a penalty against sheriff. Now Frank you're a man who's never shot of confidence, the same is usually said about Cristiano Ronaldo. We seeing a bit of a crisis of confidence for the player right now. I have to say yes. And you understandable. It didn't score lord. It never happened in his life. Not scoring that much of goals. And of course, it's like in life. You know, when you want something too much, you get stress and crazy and in fact you don't get it. It's like when you avoid something because you think of it so much that it happens. "Action with the Europa League with Manchester United looking to bounce back after that loss of man city in the Derby. Well, they came back from a goal down to beat armoni and Nicosia three two. That keeps them second in group E it was ten hacks second half changes working wonders for united with rashford and Marcial scoring the goals. However, they did have the chance to put it out of sight with Cristiano Ronaldo getting some chances but just not being able to find the target in this game. Let's now welcome in. Stevie Nicola Luis Garcia and Frank Lev to talk more about this Stevie, you weren't impressed with Cristiano Ronaldo tonight. No, I thought the longer the game wore on. I actually felt sorry for them by the end of the game. And I think some of his teammates did because every single time they went forward, they were trying to get him the ball. It was almost like, let's try and get christiano a goal. You know, he's fast chance he's left back was a good save from the goalkeeper. But from there, I mean, you talk about somebody who looks just a steps law. It just doesn't have that extra sting in his legs. Took a free kick from 25 yards, put it 25 yards over the bar. Had another shot inside the box with his left peg from about 18 yards. That went 18 yards over the bar as well. And then he had pretty much an open gall cut back to him about 8 yards out and he hit the pause. I mean, he's just struggle and I mean, even the last goal that rashford scored was a short from Ronaldo that was going away. It was a scoff. And as I said, I actually felt sorry for him by the end of the game. And there's no way that he's going to be starting from my jets united. The next time you step on the field, a guaranteed up was he really that bad checker? Yeah, it was. I believe when I was looking for his 700th career club goal. And it should. It showed in how Manchester United and Cebu is right. Every time they went forward, they tried to get the ball to Cristiano Ronaldo to get that go. And one's out for his chance didn't go

Manchester and 1999. Cristiano Ronaldo's next club, Don, who would you have as favorites? Oh. Do you know, honestly, if I was, I mean, listen, Ronaldo Ronaldo, he's chasing their numbers, then good luck to him, but I see him more playing in the MLS. I think the lifestyle might suit him and his family more than a fucking house. No, no, well, unless that's the be all and end all for him. I'm with shock. I can't see if you're Christian or Ronald. Are you sitting down in an evening with your family going? Well, where should we go? Should we sacrifice lifestyle? Maybe in LA or shall we try and get another few Champions League appearances. "Marcotti that said a few days ago has a harbor of leaving things right to all the death. That is not going to be favorable to the new united manager. Meanwhile, without Cristiano Ronaldo, Manchester United against Aston Villa tuning up at the break, a poor display in the second half they saw villa combat to get a two two draw. Ten hard not happy saying in our team it was clear there was a dip. The first half was really good and then a drop of focus. It can be that the guys are tired, but it's never an excuse. They have to perform and it's what we didn't do in the second half, a drop of focus is unacceptable. Yeah and did that performance in the second half war at that reaction? I think it does. I mean, as a player, I hated friendlies as a fan. I looked for them to prepare for a new season. And I've also been preparing on ten hawk today. We're reading a lot about his philosophy on how we think. And that interview is basically how he is. I mean, he will demand a lot for these players. The more I read about it, the more I understand him, the more I've talked to people who have worked with him, I understand, and Manchester's united now have got himself the right manager, because he won't take any prisoners. And the Manchester United players, we've seen that through the preseason that you see a better shape. You see a better identity in that team and all these soap opera thing going around at the club. He will try to get that away. But we all know that is all about Whitney football games. So if you start off badly and so on and so on. But it's hard and it actually had today. You can't accept that because the second half today, that was a bit like Manchester United, we've seen them been up and going down and decay. I didn't look well for the second goal and so on and so on. But as long as you find your shape as long as you saw this Cristiano Ronaldo thing, I think that Manchester United fans can be a bit optimistic going into this new season. And the transfer window, another month to go 5 weeks to go can still get in some players in. So I think that Manchester United will find a way. I mean, honestly, the early signs for this guy, he's his business. Okay, it's just business. I mean, he's got a reputation. He wants to uphold that reputation. He's seen Mourinho and van Gogh to coaches that have done way more than him, but are we older? It's in their go and be good and bad, but generally not get to the other one. And if he's saying that to the press, after a game after a friendly, what's this in an address room? Right. It's more. It's more powerful. And I think what he's doing here is he's making it absolutely known to some of these underachievers and there are there are players there that think they've made it by getting a move to monument and getting the money and playing at 90% and he's saying no. Not under my watch. Right. I am the manager here. I've got the back end of this football club. If you're not playing and you're not doing it and he kept mentioning focus, then you're out. And I'll get somebody else. And I think they've really needed this. Although they need recruitment, they need something that's going to go in there and just be strong. And not be Molly caught in these players where the arm around them and training is too hard. Oh, he's doing this and he's making this watch a video. You don't want to do it. Go. And I think he's laying that on the lane early. So I think the United players done at this moment and saying, well, absolutely know where they stand with this manager. And that's a

"And he carries a humongous weed. Yeah. So their lives, I think, the big problem in no less. Yeah, that's the thing, isn't it, Jan? Who's paying this money for Antoine Griezmann? Well, first of all, boys have to say he's been linked to Manchester United is Bobby Charlton played for max junior. So I don't agree. And Schneider, I remember Schneider always linked to the united finally, that could happen, but I think there's this twist because your honor Ronaldo is turning into something comical now. Because the need to be a decision. I mean, ten haage is trying his best. He's trying to get some discipline into that team. You can see they are having a more identity now. You see that he has used the training sessions as good as he can and probably the iPad on the flights because they will all over the world. But this croissant around, I think, got to stop now, because now it's a matter of management, do something about it. And grisman, yes, he owns a lot of money. So does Cristiano Ronaldo? So this is not only players moving. These are big transfer deal business deals who has to go emotions, but the boys is just days till we start things community shield coming up Premier League starting soon. It has to be a decision made or this would be make Manchester's united start the season. Bad and they can't afford that. I could see this working Athletico Madrid. Well, you think Lewis Suarez played a good one. I know we had a chat on here a few days ago and one or two think it would work from but he's got the way they play the way they approach the game. The way the manager is and they've got Korea and kunya that really work hard and then they've got Joe Felix fellow countrymen there who's not been his best, but it's very clever. Maybe that will bring out the best to him. And of course these goals are not really going to dry up. And you know, they do that a lot of magical Madrid. They sort of teams and then they hit them and they get balls in the box and he can finish the big question and you need to come up with a deal. But I do agree to issue. Take a 100 million all the way. Do you know what's in the mystery box? I don't know why it's just not this is not an ideal scenario for ten hug and I think Ronaldo's team just need to make it a bit clearer, right? We want this done come hell or high water. This is where our stance and just don't stop so but don't try and paint yourself in a great picture with the fans. "Competitor to Manchester United. Bayern Munich, but does that really make sense for Bayern Munich because you're having a situation right now with Robert Lewandowski? And quite frankly, at this point in their careers, I'd rather have Robert Lewandowski's court even goals for me then Cristiano Ronaldo. So he doesn't quite make sense from that sort of from that point of view. I actually think from ten hag quietly, he won't say this publicly. But quietly, this is something that would be ideal for Christian or not to just go on his own. So that he doesn't have to make that decision because long term Christiana Ronaldo is not part of the plans. In the short term, he may be able to help you to score a few goals because you don't have anybody else to score those goals. But in the long term and the big picture from ten hack as he started his project, he doesn't want the shadow Cristiano Ronaldo luminol over him and all over this locker room. And by the way, just as a side note about this locker room that apparently was divisive or divided by Christian or Ronaldo because of his expectations of the players or whatever he demanded of the players. It only serves to confirm whatever perception we had of this locker room being soft, touchy, very sensitive. Guess what? Good thing on another walk in here into this locker room and became automatically the best player in that team. And continue to be the best player in that team. And even at 37, we're still having the conversation. Man, should we hang on to Christina or another or not? Because you're looking around and you're saying, nobody else is good enough to score the goals here. Nobody else is good enough to carry that pressure. So as much as you want to complain about Christina Ronaldo and the locker room, he was producing. The rest of the guys were not. What do you think Craig, if he is to leave united? Where's the best fit? I'm not really sure. To be honest, somebody who's looking for a very short term solution. I have to price. I don't think it's about getting a transfer fee for them now. I think it's about getting them out, getting the deal done, freeing up the ridges, cleaning up the dressing room. Checking that weight off the manager's shoulders because if he does stay, you know, it's not just going to be the next 6 weeks to the season starts. It's going to be every perp performance. It's going to be, as he played this week, is he on the bench as he Harvey is going to be every day. So I think I'm not going to understand from both perspectives here, but I think from united point of view, listen, there's a hell of a big brim has to sweep this clean. And he's got to have to go out with it. With the rest of them, and I know there's no short term to score the goals, but the guy has to figure that out in half they go through this pain to get to the end line. And it's their problem. It was their recruitment drive that caused all this. And they're going to have to deal with it. But as I say, realize he's made a mistake. Forget all the nostalgia about this was the club when he was brilliant. That was David gill and Alec credits. This isn't the same club. This isn't the same team. This isn't the same ownership. Things have changed. He's walked in there only sod this. Unprofessional players going to take a long time to rebuild it. I'm 37. I got to get out of that in place, so somewhere short down with a World Cup coming up as far as maybe Chelsea might be I don't know if you needed one I'm sure they don't want to sell to arrival, but I think that in some sense, they've got to be bigger than that. They're not fighting for a title, they've got to see the bigger picture and start rebuilding their squad. Ian D like Cristiano Ronaldo to Chelsea. I don't think they should be too fussy about it. In worrying about selling him to arrive, if they don't want him around, I think they just have to get him off the books and get a new striker in. So if it's Chelsea and Chelsea's the only game in town, if it comes to christiano Ronaldo, yep, do it. Okay, nice. Well, Christian Eriksen has agreed to move to Manchester United. It's a three year deal that they're looking at at the moment for the 30 year old and just taking a look at everything that we've seen from him of late and obviously most recently with Brentford. What Mark can you tell.

How did that deal come about? What was the process like to bring one of the biggest names in the world? It's Sports in other entertainment and so like Liberty into a mobile Battle Royale greater freefire. Yeah, it was it was a really exciting project to work with the guys on Thursday from the whole kind of ideation and blueprint of the idea through to the the integration and Page the final execution both in terms of the in-game integration and and the marketing around the partnership I think life to start at the beginning. I set up sport Quake fifteen years ago, and I had a background in media and Thursdays soccer or football a depending on what we're calling it today, and I'd worked at a number of large advertising agencies and then moved into sport media page. With Sky Sports is the Premier League host broadcaster and then spent four years as commercial director at Tottenham Hotspur, which is one of the big three London football franchises wage. And when I set up sport quake in that time over the. I view is very much that we're in a world where they, you know Sports Media Tech and gaming increasingly are coming more and more together and we're seeing lots of really really interesting collaborations as a result of that and primarily right. It's about bringing these two different audiences together to create more impact and awareness. And so as you and and your listeners, no doubt will be aware or if not, you know free fire, which is owned. No, Karina which is part of the C group. We've worked with the c group to some time and we've worked with an e-commerce business they have which is very strong in Southeast Asia that offers a service similar to Amazon in those markets and see is actually the best performing Chef globally over the last twelve months. I think it's kind of five EXT over the last twelve months and is within that organization as the e-commerce business Sharpie. It has to read free flight and we're done some work with with Sharpie with Ronaldo in the fall of 2018 and it performed extraordinarily well and through that and then relationships with out throughout the group the guys that Greener thoughts. It could be something here to do something with him as well. But with their own sort of twist and that was really where the kind of Genesis of the idea came from to bring his audience and IP together with With Their audience and they obviously are the the number one game. If not, the number one guy one of the the very top games in the world. I mean, I think they have something like two hundred and fifty million downloads and a hundred million daily sneezes and and Ronaldo himself in terms of his social media following putting aside what he delivers through the TV platform around baseball games. He his social media follow me is is the biggest in the world or anyone right? So he's got over for bigger than the cardassians bigger than J Lo and a dog Oh force and he's got something like four hundred and fifty million plus followers. And so the idea was to bring these two giants together in Partnership. Absolutely. I pulled up the list of the most played mobile games by player count and you said four hundred fifty billion. That's exactly what grade at last reported. According wage is article it August 2019, but they were one of the most downloaded mobile games in the world in 2019 to your point and have driven just a pretty insane bout of viewership at my favorite example of just sort of how big Great a free-fire is is the Esports organization loud gave a down in Brazil. They launched in I think mid June 2018 and have crossed their one point seven billion views on their YouTube channel for comparison the FaZe Clan account, which has been running for ten years now and has numerous viral videos is that just over what billion views so two years loud gaming which focuses almost entirely a great a free fire has completely surpassed FaZe Clan's called Dead output. Yeah, really quickly that just kind of gives you an idea of hey, this is how popular this game is. And and I think really where their their their view was listen, and as the market leader, we really want to lead and and and set the agenda and you know clearly we have as you just said large choice, you know of of of of gamers in terms of you know, everything from Hardcore to get real Gamers, but there's something really exciting here that we think we could do to Delight. Both are are cool gaming fans while also bringing in even more mainstream players to the game and also just kind of Setting the agenda for the industry in terms of you know, this is how you do these collaborations. Absolutely, that's really crucial to and let's talk a little bit about that collaboration. We you mentioned how everything is coming together and free fire it off is actually representation of just how far Tech has advanced recently. What do you think about what mobile games were even four or five years ago to the point that there now seems reals which is the most server intensive Gabe that you could a badge it with 100. I'm not sure how many people actually drop into free-fire but you know, the typical number is 100 people dropping in at the same time as to do that auto mobile photo, but will technology and something that old he became possible in the last few years. And now you also see at the same time the ability to bring Cristiano Ronaldo into the game and that's something that you know, we've seen with games like FIFA in the past where they model people they model real athletes in those situations, but there's something different to bring home. Into a battle royale, I'd have the play a character this case kro. Do what had to happen on the back end to make this a reality. Was there any hesitation for any of the parties about potential free Christian although into a game like free fire? Yeah, so so obviously we've worked with Ronaldo and his people a number of times before the great relationship with them. And as I say, he had worked with us before with their e-commerce business shopping and so there was a relationship with the group home and we obviously talked him through the the opportunity. We Karina and very much felt that the worst some things to be aware of around the table game it was but that if we executed it in in the right way that it could be really amazing. And so, you know and and back to your point about the the quality of of tech and delivery nowadays, you know and and huge shout-out to to Garena, you know, they they they pull together this amazing kind of personality and character both conceptually and also graphically off and it was developed in conjunction with Cristiano and his team as well in terms of the various things that he could do and so forth and so, you know the exit the idea Asian execution that have been phenomenal when as you say that, you know, we wouldn't be able to do that if if take wasn't where it where it is where is today off? But yes, it's it's really it's really amazing and the thing that's so you

"What a result for eventers in group g going to pass alone and and getting a three now win which gives them the age when it comes to the head to head meaning. The pillow side finished top of the group. In qualification west mckinney with ago and only moreno joins us now for shown around with a couple of penalties and boy. Did he enjoy score in the molly. Of course he did. Well anybody who played for today. Enjoy that game. It was like a practice games for that. I honestly barcelona never got close to challenge juventus. You look barcelona and you evaluate this team and the real question for me and it's a it's a serious question. How bad and i mean. How terrible is this team right now. The messy dependency more so than ever. But that's only part of the family. Speaks the one part of so many things that are going wrong for this team. They don't get close to anybody defensively. They don't pressure the bolt together. They don't work as at eight on look connected like a team. This is a group that is all over the place guys running around doing their own thing and hoping that something happens and more so than anything. What are you. Sue you from this team for the first twenty or thirty minutes was a team that you know what in care just didn't didn't show any sort of intensity in chinese sort of urgency. Argentines bid final farewell to Maradona as national mourning begins
"Welcome into this special edition of espn fc as we pay tribute to diego maradonna. Who passed away today at the age of sixty craig burley with me here in the studio you can clinton joining us a little later on in the program to talk about what it was like to play against him. We also welcome to the show gab. Marcatti and argentine colleague from espn deported. Ricardo ortiz is with us rookie. I want to start with you to try out. Some how important. Maradona was for argentina. Hi guys pleasure to be with all of you. Maradona as the most important figure ever in argentina i. It doesn't matter what where when everybody would always talk about madonna. He's a legend. Now the idol and now a legend. I it's just unbelievable the morning and what people on the streets are doing in the middle of a pandemic they don't care if in argentina right now for example in the stadium of book juniors. There's hundreds of thousands of people probably a lot more tonight gathering where he played and won a championship. There's hundreds and thousands of people gathered around out of junior stadium where it all started and there's hundreds and hundreds of people outside of his house in a very poor neighborhood. Outside of one is ours. Quality fiorito the house where he grew up on with dirt floors lighting candles every street every corner every city. Every town people are out on the streets and tomorrow in the funeral it will be in the government's palace. They're expecting over a million people tomorrow in the center of one side is to say goodbye to somebody. Who's the most famous argentinian for us. And the most famous argentinian around the world ever so people are really suffering something that they knew it was going to happen sooner rather than later. What a player was. Yeah i mean multiple world cups. They played on one one obviously in a sex with not the best argentina site but he was amazing went to spain and eighty two and played in the world cup's twenty one year old a way in his shoulders. One so young at that point got himself sent off from the big game against brazil will even lend from the came back was even stronger delivered and one of the things that were thinking about is up until his death today. If he'd gone to any club to visit and the world the moment be the biggest clubs in germany. spain. Italy england every player. Some of these players are superstars. Everyone of these players would have wanted a photo. We've seen some of the pictures videos during the when he did go and visit Clubs over the past few years and an all these guys all the ones to do a photo. Welcome because everybody just know what a superstar boys and it could walk into any club under beg stars would all be over to say please. Can i have a full. Because that's how much people hold them and respect gap markazi with us as well gabe. Obviously we heard how argentina is hurting in particular as naples today. No question about it. People are out there on the streets in naples. Even though of course there is a curfew going on right now The connection that he made with naples obviously his adopted city and some might look some of the darkness in his life and pinpoint. That is the moment when when things started to go wrong for him by you know you. You speak to his teammates former teammates and dal speak of of his generosity. They speak about how he was always front and center always standing up to be counted. Random people on the street and to this day in the streets of naples. You'll find murals tomato. You'll find shrines to montana. He had a hold over a city city. That was when you arrive was was beaten down was was impoverished had never won a title There's a divide between the wealthier north of italy in the poor south of italy and they won two titles while he was their third one. They let slip away at the end. Still rather murky circumstances and he's the guy who changed all that he changed the inevitability of history. I think in the eyes of the united a lot of people and that's why he resonated so much she loved certainly enables but i think beyond that he loved being anti-establishment he loves speaking his mind. And i'll tell you what. Then i throughout his life you know. He had highs and lows he made enemies and then at times but in the end in the last fifteen twenty years whether whether it was pillay whether it was peter shilton he he came back and he made up with with a lot of the people he he fell out with and i was struck by something i read. I read somebody posted an interview. He gave back Back is a nineteen year old where he talked about how we talk about. Favorite actor was right on which i found kind of random but he talked about what is greatest trait was and he said i wanna be friends with my enemies and and i think in many ways that is how much of the world from a distance viewed him as as somebody who had the good fortune before he passed to go back and and and really rebuild all the bridges and all the relationships and and really leave us on on good terms with good terms with with very much. Everybody out there ricky. Take us through your point of view with regards to how you will remember him. Remember him of one of the greatest ever on the feel and also a personality so strong and controversial of it. Not many great athletes have done that that to be so much in spotlight for his entire life since since he was about seven eight years old when in argentina they started talking about him he used to play for the us and the red star is today's roca. Were people will gather out of nowhere. Because they knew there was a new kid that was unreal and this was way before cable internet and social media and he did all that before those times. Which is just incredible. He was just different than everybody else and that will remember him. Also as a great great captain whether you love or you hate him. He loved that. Argentinian jersey. More than anything in more than anybody. He was a great leader. He would push to the end. And that's why how he won a world cup. That's how we made it to the final and the second world cup. He played injured with his right leg in really bad shape his ankle and really bad shape. If you look at through the years he started at the age of sixteen Playing in first division and he never stopped. I think he could've played ten more years if he would've taken care of himself. I also remember him for that for not being able to really take care of his body and his mind. It just went over his heading. Never control himself. He went into politics and a lot of people hating him for that but he always spoke his mind. He didn't care. What where when and all. These things for maradona are just different. From almost every other athlete maybe with except mohammed ali that in and out of a field or boxing ring he just kept being on the front page of every paper and every newspaper that was ever printed. It's just unbelievable coming from argentina that i was listening to be there. You know you think of italian soccer in the eighties. I think he was one of the first ones who made people around the world. Want to watch league. Like the italian league just because maradona was playing he. He won napoli twice where they could have. Never even come closer to that. And i've been there many many times and it's just unreal today yesterday and thirty years ago for every day you can buy and maradona shirt. A lot easier than you canning. Senior member things ham seek e way. Anybody that played after him. It's just incredible. What those people thought and loved about the madonna to go back to you. What ricky said about. you know. it could've played longer. Potentially i looked after these body a little bit longer and his main but then the game didn't look after the maradona's back in those days and for louis people the younger generation watch lino massi. Do all these things and they are great. And i'm not taking that away. But he was doing that on. ploughed fields. right with pitches where the ball would. Something's wouldn't even bums are bubbled hard to control with defenders who were some of the roughest toughest one and literally wanted to snap them. It's not please legs. Because that was the only way to stop him and he had to deal with that every time we went on the field and still perform and some of the most wonderful and great goals. That will ever see you can imagine ho has body with the bean. At the end of a game ho the game was played and refereed and the eighty s is a complete contrast to the modern game and rightly so the way the current players are protected. He did not have the did not have that luxury and yet were still able to do that. Which is quite amazing. We'll say thank you very much to rookie for joining us Of course we just say out pouring of support. And this is what i had to say on twitter. What's sad news. I lost a great friend and the world lost a legend. There is still much to be said but for now make god give strength to family members. One day. I hope we can play pool together in the sky. Welcome to the show. Now someone who knew exactly what it was like to go. Head to head with maradonna international level in a world cup final and obviously on domestic level clinton's men into milan. When diego maradonna was. That is very best for napoli again. Thank you very much for your time. Just your initial reaction about very very very said moment. I think full entire world of football On monday madonna was Was an absolute exception. He was Probably for to take decades. You know the late eighties to the nineties. The most most Amazing play on the planet. He was a A genius he was i. I called him always artist. There's there's they did degrade football player. And then there's maybe one artist and diego maradona's was an artist. He what he did on the field full of creativity full of unbelievable to take knee was just an her off. And i had the pleasure to play many times against him with club team if it was stood guard and you if a cup final was germany world cup finally if it was Into milan the two games against napoli. And you just simple simply admire this guy and to have him. Passover early just sixty sixty years of age is a very very sad to pull unfortunately reality. You can just take us back to to that time. And just how big walls he while he was on his own level in. Oh they were great players obviously in the late eighties. Early nineties in italy Lauder mateos was one of the best players in the world goalie from boston. Right cut curriculum. Ow before i was maybe blood was was was unbelievable. Great players but he was an another level. He was just someone that that always made the difference and figured things out on the field that nobody else could figure out so you could men mock him. You could mock him his own older. You had no no idea how to mock him because he was just so gifted and so there was so much admiration for him and and outside the field he was just a simple very Normal person in a lot of people thought momma donna. All his Issues then drugs and other things. Li laid on was a very complicated person. He was not. Diego was a very down to earth. Very normal guy that just wanted to be with his friends with his families and What he has brought to argentina you will never forget that in what he brought to his especially to is not believer son of naples That people will never forget that. So imagine today You know how people morning in argentina and in napoli in italy and around the world is just a just a very sad moment. you're what was it like the reaction from the crowds when you were up against napoli and maradona's was on the board. I imagine just that sense of expectation must've being palpable even as a player. Yeah i mean i've been. I heard the news i was. I was really shocked as money. And and i posted something on my twitter side and i rarely actually post things but by posted something that i always thought about. Diego was his warmup routine depending on the music in the stadium started to do his routine with jogging and the ball around and that was made him. I think it has seven million hits by now. Life is live music. Dead really is jay. Go on monday madonna. He just wanted to be in rhythm himself if the music with the game and when you watch him then doing his walmart you you phase him actually as an opponent and you kind of have lost the game because you gave him so much respect you give him so much and because he was such a fantastic football player that your and that kind of transfer to the to the to fans in the stadium you know the even away games for him became home games because the people just wanted to see him. You know if you played in milan in front of eighty five thousand which is kind of standing up giving him standing ovations even if you may be lost a game or other games so so he was just a. It was a sustained unique over almost twenty years. And i always put him on the same pay leeann fronts. Bacon bala prior to madonna and then obviously came the next generations with Mac in our analogy. But but donna izzo in his own way. I simply unique. You mentioned the next generation yorgen and a lot of people may be seen. Maradonna play live the younger generation who are watching. Just talk about the fact that was. That was the protection. Was that from the referees. That maybe have now and you're playing on very different surfaces as well well in in in his days Obviously the fields were not good. The reveries didn't give you any protection. Ended defenders has killers. You know they just ditch us. I don't know how many follows a game run on madonna. Try to stop him all over two three defenders at the same time when all over him and he's still find solutions he's still found found a way out in score and scott incredible goals then so he took a lot a lot of hits And obviously his fame than along side in the spotlight living. The spotlight was not really his his wish. His wish was to be a normal guy playing his game. Making the difference on the field off the field he just wanted to be with friends and family but what he what he achieved because of those circumstances doing his playing days is almost impossible to achieve the interest thing as i saw clip from an of. You're on sky sports in the uk from a couple of weeks ago and it was moretz. You'll portrait was on former tottenham manager of course former argentine international news talking and they were talking about maradona. And he said we know we have all these stories about the off-the-field antics of recent years and even when he was playing but behind the scenes privately when he was with you or with. These teammates. Away from the glare of the media. He was a really genuinely warm individuals that wanted to help people the rest of as all a big story true for the newspapers but it was interesting portrait. He spoke so long layover in another thing. I think about because it's a different era to me but playing against the likes of the brazilian ronaldo the world cup and france ninety eight and seen what he can do with three or four plans around. You thought you had time in the corner on the over sudden four people and he was getting strike goal and we know how good he was. Brilliant for the hair would have been laid to play against off. That's where it was like playing against a great player. Light renowned on the other thing was empty before my oktay jokes. Gian-franco franco zola. He was going to be the air at one point. I believe to diego maradona napoli. No zola was a majestic player. But can you imagine having the way and your shoulders of go in there and potentially replace the quality of maradona. so it's unfathomable. Anybody can do that. But but no yet i think everybody of have over the piece of just we know there's lots of stories. We notice milan. But this was really apart from great. Football was a really genuinely warm guy. Last point again you do fail. That will never be anyone like diego maradonna again. I don't think so. Because i think diego maradona was was so unique because the way he emotionally connected with the people of his people and weren't as iowa's in argentina his people in napoli was so deep it was so warm and it was so i- amazing to see i traveled to and obviously go down to two zero so badly wanted to watch book. Juniors weevil played one eight. My life was when my list. And i walked through. Borka the the area around the stadium and almost every second house wall was a was a painting a tribute to jingle maradonna. I mean it's just what he left there with the people they were one they just just melted into each other and the same. He did in napoli for for napoli august. This is a today is very very sad. Sad day because this is this is her almost lifetime hero. I mean throughout generations. You know what he brought to napoli brought to the city of napoli brought hope he brought a smile. He brought excitement. He gave them pride pride. Because you know those years when he joined napoli was a big big Have kind of a disconnection between the south and off in italy and and he wanted to give these people real a real jojoba real pride. And that's what he did through the game of football. He used the tool of football to to bring these people up and and give them give them a quality of life to give them so much more than just his goals on the field. And that's what you see him. That's why i think devil be not a second minor donna coming up anywhere in the world he was. He wasn't one time off like michelangelo or fun. Goal or all these famous autists. He's he's one of them. You can kinsman. Thank very much sheriff supposed to be an outpouring around the world on social media messy writing a very sad day for all argentines and football. He leaves us but does not leave. Because diego is eternal. I'd take all the beautiful moments linked with him and wanted to take the opportunity to send him condolences to all his friends and family. Alrighty
