"Two thousand nine hundred twenty three point six five acres on L L corn ano- road and Alaska county, according to the Polaski county PVA records fish and wildlife acknowledges that it was a former coal mine and later used to drill natural gas. Well. Two sections of the WMA totaling five hundred and thirteen dollars and costing one point three million are not available to hunters due to contamination. From those wells. Alaska county PVA records, again show that fish and wildlife paid Bobby and Jerry Packard from Somerset six million three hundred and fifteen thousand eighty four dollars for the property. The Akerede paid six thousand dollars for the eighth grade and nineteen ninety eight according to PVA records. Hard to that purchase. Alaska county had access to almost thirty four thousand acres in four W M as within the county a shared with other counties. Along boat house ridge road, which appears to be the main road leading into the WMA again, according to PVA records are some interesting property owners. Ronald Turner, Rodney Turner Turner, John Turner, violet Turner, LA von Turner. Edgar Turner, Kimberly Turner, Edward Turner and Tommy Turner. WMA contaminated waters drain into the lower sixteen point nine mile section of the rock castle. River a designated wild river. Why did the Bevin administration? Theresa cabinet Secretary, Don Parkinson and fish and wildlife Commissioner Greg Johnson approved the purchase of such a property which mysteriously appreciated over a thousand percent in eight years and contained the five hundred thirteen acres unusable, contaminated land housing, sportsman sportswoman one point three million. Maybe Representative Tommy Turner has an explanation and perhaps contract review would block to check to see whether they ever approved that contract or not. All right now, Betty or excuse me Ruth. Let me get this straight. You're saying that. PVA records show this and this was a Jason tour near Representative Tommy Turner's properties. The Turner properties appear to boathouse ridge road, which appears to be the main road leading in to the WMA. Well, I'm aware of some of these. Improprieties and Ruth, you're spot on with this. Because. Haruna world does a piece of property that was so. Strip mined, and and polluted in portions of it sold for six thousand dollars six thousand dollars almost three thousand acres, according to what you're saying. These PVA records reveal. Sell for six million of the sportsman's dollars. After. Eighteen thousand eighty four dollars of the money. Eight. And here's the worst part. And I was aware of this. I've had a lot of calls a lot of folks looking into this five hundred and some odd acres out if they can't even used because it's so polluted. That's what that's what even fish and wildlife says well, see this is part of what has gone on under the cabinet. Enduring this administration where they turned a blind eye to what the sportsman thinker feel in. There's dues to be paid. You know this. This is a. Just one of many situations like this, and they have the audacity to turn around and say, well, the department did it. Yeah. The upper echelon is apartment. Did it on on the cabinets watch and this deal right here? I'll use the term I've used in past references to some of these things, it's smells like a dead fish. It's been laying in the sun rotting for three days this needs to be investigated and one point three million. Good luck. I'm sorry. Say it again. Attorney check into this. Well, the auditor does I think the folks that contract review probably ought to look back at this because how in the world because this pass muster. I want the sportsman and outdoor women come to know these kind of things are going on. And it just doesn't make sense. Not only does it not make sense is crazy. This comes again with chicanery like. These is being taken away for tourism purposes. I'm sorry. Tourism and the parks, etc. Have financial problems huge problems fish and wildlife does not fish and wildlife is solvent. It's in the back. These these ask you about the property that was taken away for viewing. The state pay for that property. I get the sportsman sportswoman of Kentucky pay for that property. Well, they're under management by the monies provided by the sportsman and outdoor women the Commonwealth that's for sure and they were elk hunting units. And they were stocked by managed by sportsman's outdoor women's money. And. Dave usurp that now it's viewing areas since when does that happen? Incidentally, that has happened on Commissioner storms watch while he was chair that permission. And I couldn't get anybody to tell me when did they vote to do that? When did the commission hand over there? To allow the cabinet to take those away for elk viewing purposes. That's not the way supposed to roll. I mean, there's been all things that have occurred on Commissioner rich storms watch which started with a lot of these things him getting on the commission him interviewing district commissioners who voted for him to be Commissioner, which is improper they took away the elk hunting areas. Then we find out about these governors tags, which I don't believe he was on the commission when they voted for him. But he sure knows about him That's who got contract review. Jam head. Where is attorney Joe Andy bushier? Why isn't he investigating some of these matters? I can't answer that. But it does beg the question. Because. The sportsmen outdoor women are not getting an even break. And honestly, they called upon the legislature several times about some of these issues the most recent of which is this deal with contract view storm getting that contract. And if you look at this litany of things that have happened on his watch saying, he was a nice guy. That's week. That's really really weak and. Members of this administration feel like they have a hobnail boots on your neck. But I think we need to remind them that we only hired them for four years. And we're going to be hiring somebody else. All right with that. I'm going to go to break the numbers tonight. Folks. I'd love your comments five seven one eighty four eighty four.

I know I listen to mostly game. It was misled by the way, who do you think is going to win the World Series? I'm going dodgers four games. No. I'm gonna go with Boston. I to get one of these rights sometime because because price might be certain to pitch like an ace in the postseason price. It very very well very impressed with. Yeah. Pretty good team. It was fantastic. Oh, yeah. Well, Boston's got all that thunder though, for goodness sakes. And they get all the defense to you got three guys go get him, Benintendi. And of course, the two guys in the outfield, including the MVP this year. I think in a bad bets. I think and you got the pitching is okay. It's not spectacular. I thought the closer said a bad play offs for the most part to kimbrel. He thought he said, but I just think there are better team. Are you trying to tell me that the bets better outfielder than Cassiano? Just a little bit just a little bit. I think a whole lot. Yeah. Like like, well, well, that's that's could probably play the outfield better than Cassiano. Does not when he was seven. By the way, you know that Jackie Robinson, dykes forty. Let's say six years ago Wednesday. Then that long forty six sheriff sitting that lock was exactly a year after Chuck us passed away on the the bears and the only Passey caught that year. No, that's I mean, I know Butkus was a wild, man. And every he was but he didn't do anything like that. He tried to say my listeners that game rod. Yeah. I did too. And the thing is look I had dick Butkus on the show in the late seventy s when he was on a tour. He could barely walk then and that's forty years ago. Seventy eight. He's got to be two years old. Buck is at least. Oh. A year older than the Sarah's and says, it's seventy five. Who's on my show just about forty years ago? And he was no forty then. I don't think. Okay. Well, I got to kind of give my give seventy-five early early to my uncle Ronald Turner in Detroit. He's gonna be eighty four Friday. Good for him. Jo west the fan did not reach over the fence back in nineteen Ninety-six Yankees versus oils, a young fan reached over the right field fence and caught a homeland that jeeter hit this leads us fans a bit confused. What do you think? Well, I don't know what confused about I thought that was interference on the thing. But I to be honest with you I saw it on replay. I didn't see that. Joe west is great umpire one of the greatest of all time and a great guy too. I might add and I didn't get shafted. At all. I mean, the shaft anybody they miss sometimes they do miss everybody. Missed some calls. I thought that the Houston series though, he was not one hundred percent he played so hard. And so well l two of you, but he's not one hundred percent nita's shortstop. He said a rough time what's going on here. He said a rough time to he missed a lot of the second half of the season. And that costs that I think for Houston. I thought Houston was a better team. But they deserve to lose way. They played. I thought it was going to be Milwaukee, Houston, I got them both Roth. So whom I that's what I was hoping for helping from walking Louis we give you gotta take a break here now. No, no. We gotta take calls more call. You got another one you said. Look at the screen. Wisconsin didn't win of course in tough weather, forty two to twenty over Illinois o tempo upset Cincinnati over time in the twenty francs Cincinnati twenty four seventeen. Okay. Alabama. Now, that's the best team in the land. People criticizing I can understand the criticism here of Oklahoma, not Oklahoma of Alabama having a week schedule. But the dominant everybody they played they can beat anybody out. There was twenty eight to nothing after the first quarter. I'm aware. I saw the. Yeah. Yeah. They destroy Monisha. The. Ohio State, though is just. Man, he was embarrassed and the press conference after the coach. He's lucky to be coaching that team. He shouldn't be coaching. That's a matter of opinion. It's a matter of opinion. I go both ways. I don't I don't know if you should have or not I can see both ways on it. I can see this Perry. The receiver from Michigan. Why did he play last year? And why is he playing this year to spousal abuse? And Jim Harbaugh turns back, so it's it's not a fair game. He should've been kicked off the team last year. These your best received for one of the best. Nobody talks about that. He's got the guts to talk about that. So so. It's right there for everybody to see you should should've guy said unless you should have been suspended. But oh, Bonita Povo. Nah, I'm confused. He needed him Harbaugh needed them. That's why kept him. But that's no excuse. Been of credibility should have suspended him. "One eight seven seven one eight seven seven. D A L I. Well, sometimes when we get a cold nothing. Call number deal. We're gonna work we're not supposed to. But we do. Good work. We don't well. You know? Somebody else in the family or. You'll see a friend of yours. They get a cold jazz down for the count. And you're like what? Well, you know, how your guts has a microbiome bacteria that supposed to kind of make everything. Co-pathetic? Apparently your nose has one too. And this knows microbiome may play a key role in how well you can fight off the cold. Now bustle reports according to a new study from the university of Virginia. Published in the journal scientific reports. Bacteria living inside your nose can seriously affect how sick you get. Apparently study participants found or study authors found that participants noses fell into six different nasal microbiome sub-types. These nasal microbiome types are linked to how bad your cold symptoms gauge, how well you fight the virus off in the first place. According to a recent press release on the study your nose has these microorganisms just like your skin your skin to skin does the same thing skin have bacteria to kind of keep other paths Giuseppe, and they seem to correlate with both the type of culture vulnerable to an house figure symptoms are when you get hooked by virus? Researchers found that the bacteria found inside study. Participants nasal microbial were linked to how much cold virus. You get. And then you're. Then your symptoms so steady author Dr Ronald Turner of the university of Virginia school medicine. Was quoted the press release saying the first surprise was that you can identify these different buckets that people. So how you find out? Well, I guess some people who have higher levels of staph bacteria staphylococcus had more severe nasal symptoms than those with less. Now, Gordon US news award reports. Further noted the press release said jeans might play a role in both the composition of your nasal microbiome and how bad your calls get now. See somebody could say, well, wait is it doesn't staffer caucus grows on the skin grows in the nose grows in a variety of things. You also have some nasty Akaka bet you shouldn't that protects. You know, look at it is if you have the type of body composition. Where staph bacteria like to set up shop? Then my guess is you have the type of body that attracts other pathogens? So what they did is. They gave study participants liquid oral probiotics are beneficial bacteria to see if they can alter the makeup of a nasal microbial supplements didn't make much of a difference. Maybe a probiotic nasal spray might have more impact. But it didn't seem to make make up make a difference. Now. Try that with probiotics in the gut. We're trying to give people pro -biotics and hope that the bacteria starts to change, and they're finding it's not working. Many people have you take a probiotic? It's not changing your gut microbial. So there may be genetic factors in play. Now, it could also be the way you eat. How much you eat? What you we, you know, there could be some. Behaviors that you do that can make some bacteria more beneficial. But I really do the type of bacteria that want to colonize. You are the ones that you are kind of genetically predisposed to. So what is so fascinating about something? Like, this is if we want to identify who you are then what we do is. We classify you based on certain bacteria. You have or Mike vile. Whether it's in the nose or whatever, and then we treat you differently. We start to individualize certain treatments. Maybe you need more, zinc. Maybe the second you start to feel tired, you up your vitamin C. Or maybe you need to start changing your diet and eat more vegetables because you are going to be more risk for Kohl's later. I don't know. So you find that fascinating. And I think that that can I think that could really. You know, make a difference when it comes to colts now vessel. I'm a big fan. They also have an article on how your medications could affect your workout. They see there are nine medications that can affect your exercise routine. Now, some of you guys will know these like, four example, statins and vibrates stands and five rates are used to treat high cholesterol, the promise they could cause fatigue muscle aches. So your recovery times may be lower that doesn't mean you don't exercise, but if you have some issues with exercising it could. Because if you're Stanton said vibrance, and some people need to be autumn some people if they could lose the way they may not.

"So this is scribe. Oh, this is this is described as having been very surprised by this binding the first surprise, and then they go on to tell you that they were surprised the first surprise. This is quoting voice. If you can't tell shifted the first surprise. You can kind of identify these different buckets that people fit into. And then the fact that the bucket seem to have some impact on how you respond to the virus and how sick you get was also interesting is Ronald Turner, MD university, Virginia school medicine. There were affects on virus load and how much virus you shed in your nasal secretions. The background microbiome background bacterial pattern in your nose had influences on the way that you reacted to the virus in how sick you got? Well, sort of because they're going to take that right away. So. The nasal neighborhood of microorganisms are not the cause of any of these colts. The colds themselves were caused by cold virus that the volunteers voluntarily took after they've made microbiome was checked. Oh, yeah, I I would not sign up to get a cold, right? You kind of have to be in the right the right place in your. Week, live. Actually, I got college, Audrey, it'll hard up for some beer money. Maybe. I don't know how you really choose it, but you know if somebody says it's recites, I think I'd do it anyway, so so maybe it's because your colds aren't as severe as mine are. And so you wouldn't mind as much so your your nose bacteria's different than mine. But but it does that mean that we would be affected by Colt differently according to this? Yes. So what we're boarding is an association. So it's entirely possible that the fact that you have a staff, they have staffing your nose and they have more sentences not directly related. It may will be. There's some underlying host Ristic that makes you likely to have staffing knows that also makes you more likely to become ill correlation. They, they didn't have it drill down. So. What do they do next? They give an antibiotic. They give. So they had one hundred fifty two participants at all. So this isn't even a small group of people who ran hand. People people who were like, I don't need to do anything this week. Yeah. So they tested the nasal microbiomes before giving the cold to give him the cold and and then they gave people probiotics. So they found that after getting the probiotics, the changes that they saw were none. Not a note me type attics. They were wiping them clean or they were. They were adding bacteria right question. If it was a terrible question, I would have told you it was a terrible question to just to be fair, but that was a great question because that's what they propose doing next. The probiotics didn't have any effect really even on the gut microbe because they didn't wipe. It didn't change the nasal microbiome at all. Didn't change symptoms and ginger, no difference. But they do postulate that they need to redo the study where they do. Do use antibiotics, it's just tougher to do because they don't know, even scientists doing research, don't like to give people antibiotics because of the day and age we live in, but they're saying like, yeah, that's the next step to start with antibiotics, do the cold and see if that same. Today's, yes, if that changes and that you get a different result from there. And so. Yeah, I'm just going to say I'm not surprised about the probiotics, not having an effect. However, because there are have been lots of studies recently that have kind of suggested that probiotics don't work. So..
