These Vaccine Mandates Lead to Pure Evil
"Honest to goodness, this is some evil stuff. I'm seeing stories of Ronald McDonald house in British Columbia, kicking out a family of victim of family, whose four year old boy has leukemia because they're unvaccinated. How about how about the story out of Washington state, one of the bluest of the blue states in the world? They had a big snowstorm this week. A county that got affected, they wouldn't allow they rejected the help from the county to clear out the snow because the county doesn't have a vaccine mandate. You can not make this crap up. And now Liz Cheney. Using January 6th and the her role she and kinzinger to persecute her political opponents. I mean, listen, they thought nothing of destroying lives and they'll keep it going over January

"Whatever. Who else? Yep. When, when that ending of that when you play when Bob Bell came back to Medina Temple with Joey D'Auria, and he's there will be a clown. When, but what's What's I I cry every time every time when he goes from talking normal to Bozo. And then all of a sudden joy Doria says. Well, you know why don't you and he goes? Yeah, he leather uh, it and he does the voice sound like bozo had a stroke. But when he goes into the voice Hey, I've always admired you. I've always wanted to meet you. Well, why? Oh, boy, All right, And then he starts laughing like parsley. Well, boy, you win, and then they sing the song it I start crying, I start crying. It is unbelievable that there's a lot of memories that go along with all that, and it all began. I believe not 1961 this coming Saturday is the anniversary. Oh, you saw Bozo then with the red outfit as opposed to the blue, I guess so. Yeah, I think as I was young, I didn't go with my whole class. Like you did bust for kids with counterfeit Lee whole bus full of South siders. But I did see him. I did see the show early when he was wearing red men. Later on. I interviewed Joey D'Auria. And then when I was writing for Working for North Star magazine. And I was able to get my God son in Patrick. He was like, seven or eight. Yeah. So that was kind of neat to see full sore because I saw the original chaos and I saw the later cast. Yeah, it was cool with, you know, And he was the entrance. Yeah. Who went to my high school points? The same paths? Yeah. Yeah. So we have that anniversary and also it kind of ties in With the death of Willard Scott, which was reported But Willard Scott passed away yesterday. The C 100 years young former today show weatherman 87 87 years old. But he was a a TV bozo as well in the late fifties and early sixties. How you know local stations all have their own bozo shows like we did on W. G. N they had a local show and the T V station in Washington, D. C. And he did bozo for a few years there when most of the bozo shows did not last as long as the W G N wanted the one in Washington when that show was canceled. One of its sponsors. This new fledgling hamburger joint called McDonald's had Bozo as its spokesperson. But Bozo in Washington got canceled. So the McDonald's people go to Willard Scott, can you create a new character to be the TV pitchman for it? And Ronald McDonald's was Ronald McDonald was created. Willard Scott was the very first Ronald McDonald. Wow. You mean, but he didn't invent it. He just played He pretty much invented it. He created the character, the whole look and everything that well, it was a different look. The the early Ronald McDonald look on YouTube and you'll see He had like a food tray on his head. It was really kind of creepy Look, and it was, like really kind of where he's a clown and McDonald's, thankfully changed damage to then they called me. Oh, Burnett much more friendly, Uh, imagery on that whole thing. So, um, Wow, I never knew that. So, uh, you know, Willard Scott did it for a few years. Then a bunch of different actors did it for a couple of years at a time. Have been many actors that have done Ronald McDonald in 1968 1969. The actor who played Ronald McDonald, Ray Rayner, He was Ronald McDonald. Reindeer was Ronald McDonald, 1968 and 69. Oh, my God. So now and then did he dovetail that Because of his fame, as is Oliver all, Oliver. I guess. I mean, I guess he was just known as, uh, you know, because McDonald's is local here. Very probably. They probably knew that he was capable of creating a character like that. Oh, my gosh. Look at the the lineage little No. You're clowning little I do no more than a grown man really should know about these things. Uh, And the anniversary we accidentally found out this morning is my this, uh Uh, September 8th will be my 27th year here on WGN Radio. I started in 1991 on WGN TV. Ted Lasso: Lessons on Leadership From a Fictional Character
"I for anyone who has the unfortunate fate of not having watched head lasso yet. What are you even doing people. How would you describe the character of ted lasso. So i think ted so is it shouldn't be a serious character right. This is a college football coach from kansas. Who is going over to coach. Manage in the english premier league. The whole setup feels absurd. Which i think is why the character seems to work so well because this guy is a. He's folksy. he has these things he will say. I mean come on. Sam was more open than the jar peanut butter on my kitchen counter. That's right y'all don't know. I like to keep the peanut butter open. That way whenever i walk back and just stick my finger and yet he has this inner goodness that i think when when he comes across people that they seem to react to you coaching football make. You are a legend for doing something. So i mean it's meno murdy well you know. I've heard that tune before. But here i am still dancing. Ted last. So is the quintessential mid western kindness guy. You know a guy who wants to do well in the world treat other people the right way and just kind of live life with optimism and kindness and all those like grape characteristics that we'd all like to have. Yeah i think it really is his relentless optimism. That wins you over in the show. Is there a particular scene in the series that you think really captures that element of his personality. You know i was thinking about this. In the first episode. He's gone over to england. He's been introduced to the media. He talks to the team. And everybody's obviously it's not going well and then him and coach beard kind of redecorate the office. They put up the john wooden pyramid of success. They put up. All these american touchstones like muhammad ali poster in the miracle on ice poster all in the office. And then roy kent the kind of the you know. The quintessential english footballer. He comes in the office and he calls him ronald mcdonald and i think he uses an expletive and then he leaves the office and ten lasso goes he thinks may now wait. We win them over if he thinks he's mad. Now wait until we win them over.

"With your best friend knew necklaces. Yeah, it's like it's like a duet on Tic tac like you get the one half and the other half and decorate it your own way. Yeah, I don't know. I would have to do that. If I put a treat my apartment. I don't have room for a whole one. I paid for that or made a donation couple years ago for the Ronald McDonald house, and we put a display in the in the basement of another base with the lobby of the one that Larry Ronald McDonald House and Tom Yeah. Tom Ki ho and And my friends over there. They did. They did that for for us, And they did the upside down one because I thought the kids were they thought the kids would like it. I can't take credit for the design. It was way over the top All light. Of course, Everything Ki ho does is like amazing and And that was cool because it was different, you know, for the kids or whatever. But I didn't. I didn't really get that one either. You know, in general, why you would put one upside down in your home. But I don't. I don't like the half one like, just get a tree or like normal or don't My God, that how about that's my heart? Take for the day. Get a tree like normal or don't scare you. I'm gonna have trees, right? Come on now, not just get a small tree, half tree paying full price. Still, though. Listen, it probably is probably more. You have to pay more because some guy had to cut it in half. But I don't even put Christmas decorations up anymore because you know, my family is not in Chicago's like travel for the holiday and So then I would want to putting it up and then taking it down before I go because I don't want to come back and dance like depressing January And then there's still a tree. It makes me sad and I love the holidays so much. I love Thanksgiving Christmas so much that if I came back like January 4th or something, and they were still a tree, there would make me feel empty and sad. You gotta leave it up until there's something to look forward to. Well, I know, I know this year is different. Yeah. I always look forward to march. I don't know why it was. I don't know who looks for the February, you know, birthing anywhere. That's the one thing sometimes from the focus of February Ground Hog Day s so many great holidays. Karada President's Day. Oh, my goodness. Yeah, I like that one because we get some days off. I like that one. E don't know. No, I don't know if anyone else feels this way this year. I know it's probably different for a lot of Plus, they didn't get to see all their family. But like there was this big like we had Thanksgiving and we have my birthday and like everybody was together. And then yesterday my my sister went home and her husband went home and I don't know it was like this huge ramp up to all this fun stuff and family and then Straight down. You know, it's like a big letdown. Emotional left town kind of, and I'm sure it was worse if you don't get to see your family and all, but I don't know If this happens, it happens for me after huge events like my sister's wedding was that way. It was like so exciting and all of our family and friends were there. I got to see everybody. We had this great time the next day. It's like Boop. It's over. You know, I don't know. It's kind of a big letdown that then Christmas is kind of the same way and so is all of winter. You gotta look at the silver lining. You know, there's always There's always an upside like you got to see them and you're supposed to cherish the moments that you're with them not think about the time that they leave. I have a hard time being present. I really do because I'm constantly I'm a guy who always have to have something to look forward to like. I'm always it's not next best if that's not what it is, but like I This is this is why this time of year is great because there's a lot to look forward to. You know lots and most of it involves family and friends. And you guys and gift giving and partying and, you know In whatever form and again like a lot of people are doing that stuff this year, but, um, typically, that's what it means. And then I don't know. You kinda have to invent stuff, but I guess I don't know. I tend to have a difficult time being present in the moment as opposed to being like, okay, this is cool, but But wins the next time we get to do this kind of thing. Maybe I need to work on that. I don't know. Do you meditate to do that? How do you become more present? Well, it is really good to have something to look forward to. I don't think that's bad. I think I think most people need that. And there's always something. You just have to dig a little bit deeper. But yeah, meditating is great. Are you? Are you good at meditating? No, I'm terrible and I have the calm. I have had to call Matt for two years and I still pay for it, hoping that one day I will actually use it and more religiously and drying focus, But I When I try and slow my mind now intends to just speed it up. Like even don't try to slow your mind down like that's that's your first problem you need. You just start little like a couple of minutes at your timer and allow those thoughts to come and then just see them through. You know, you're supposed to welcome them. Yeah. So don't try to say Stop thinking, you know, just welcome the thought and let it pass right by conveyor belt. I was told just kind of watch it go by. Interesting. Yeah. So just start slow. Set a timer. You could start even with, like, three minutes, five minutes and then start that every morning or whenever you have time. I mean, also, I mean, we can't really in Chicago but to be in nature or the ground with your feet, you know? On the earth That's really helped. I hug trees with Jason Brown did hug a tree. Yeah, it was grounding. I'm not gonna lie. Very Hazlitt, you guys You know, there's something about a big tree like a really big tree. It's kind of this kind of special. Yes. Say I'm my best self in the woods. Like I just wanted me e mean, if you don't get a big ash tree like 345 ft across whatever like a big ass tree like that tree's been there. So long trees seen a lot of stuff like year like dead. I mean, well, morning, decades or so much of years. You could talk to her. Who? Wow. If only we had some weed Right now. This conversation would be a whole lot better Monday, I heart radio song Battle and.

Imagine that black lives matters protesters or anarchist or anti for whoever they smashing windows and I say black lives matter because we have this organizer that aerial, Atkins is encouraging theft and smashing and looting. That's Lisa Mitchell, who's with Ronald McDonald House charities. Gave an interview to Wools Television, ABC seven in Chicago. I mean, how despicable And it turns out that the families and their Children they were this Ronald McDonald House in Chicago because it was close to the Lurie Children's Hospital. Round up to the nearest dollar, donate the different to Ronald McDonald house charities or use exact change on cash transactions. There is a coin shortage in the US right now. Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell told Congress last month. What happened is that with the partial closure of the economy, the flow of coins through the economy, it has gotten all. It's kind of stopped. We've been aware of it. We're working with the meant to increase supply while working with the reserve banks to get this apply to where it needs to be. The Agency of the US Treasury responsible for minting coins is the US. Meant it was established in seventeen ninety two by Congress when it passed the coinage Jack and it chose Philadelphia as the site of the I meant. Now, the US mint operates production facilities in Philadelphia, San, Francisco Denver, and West Point. Every two years, Congress requires US Treasury to give a report on the US mint its budget and its cost to produce its coins. In twenty twenty, the US meant projected that it would produce fourteen billion circulating coins. Including eight and a half billion pennies. One point, three, billion Nichols two point, four, billion times. One Point, eight, billion quarters. Now. But here's the thing about circulating coins in the US and other countries. The meant only contributes a relatively small percentage of the new circulating coins each year twenty, nineteen, it was seventeen percent. New. Coins. Going into the supply chain? The remainder came from third party coin processors are recyclers as individuals by things they get back and there are machines where you can put your spare change and it will sort it and this recirculating process. Well, and I have no doubt that you'll be able to accomplish that goal again. The The support that you get from the community and from other organizations will hopefully allow you to accomplish that. And and again, as you said, you will never have to turn anybody away. You know, we can't end this interview without talking a little bit about what you and your team have been doing during the pandemic. Like every business, every organization. We have all been affected. And have all had to change operations over the last 13 weeks. We're really proud. I'm personally so proud of the board giving me support and our staff We were able to keep our Ronald McDonald house open. For families who had the most critical of patients who needed to stay at the hospital. And It was done because of the dedication of the staff. I mentioned that we have 550 volunteers to keep them say we asked that they refrain from coming in for their volunteer shifts until the immediate coalbed crisis was passed US. And we're slowly reintroducing them. But if you can imagine having to do the work that All of us. Plus our volunteers do in this New normal, which is I know we've heard that word are that term enough, But it was. It was definitely a different way to operate, but just to be able to still support our families with occasional meals with pantry items. Allowing them to stay here and be right across from the hospital where their child is being treated. Waas a something I will always be proud of that we were able to do Yeah, And I think it's important people understand that there are organizations that are still keeping their doors open during this situation, and so we're grateful and what? We were thankful that you are one of them. If people want to contribute to this house that love built How would they go about doing that? Visit our website..

"You know, From a financial standpoint, I understand that you're part of a global charity that helps in that regard. We are our global charity Ronald McDonald House Charities located in Chicago. They started about 45 years ago when the first Ronald McDonald House was built. In Philadelphia. And since then, the charity has expanded to include approximately 350 chapters throw the world So altogether. These chapters just last year alone served approximately eight million families. So when you think about that impact, it's our chapter combined with the 349 other chapters That are able to continue our mission and provide these families the services that we d'oh. And so you're saying there's about 350 Ronald McDonald houses across the United States and and the world really? There are so as a small charity. In part how we do what we do is because of the support we received from our global charity, but also the support we can receive from the other chapters throughout the world. There's no reason to invent a new wheel if we're looking for a new program or a new policy. Then we just have to reach out to our colleagues in the other chapters, and we're all a very much of a sharing organization. And that helps us not only do what we do every day now. It helps to think about how we can further expand our reach into the future. Well and speaking of the future. I mean, you guys were doing so many wonderful things. But what is the future look like for Ronald McDonald House? Our future will always be that constant of keeping families together and providing them a home a room. This community of support. But in the last few years we've been able to add a couple other programs, including our hospitality card program at the hospital, where any family that is there to support their child being served. And receive a bit of hospitality as our volunteers well, our cart around and offer beverages Next reading materials toys. And in addition to that, we are also a major funder of the Ascension ST Mary's miles of smiles program, which brings into the Milwaukee public schools. A dental clinic. And we've been involved with that for a few years, and we look for other ways that we can help not only Milwaukee, but families. In our entire larger community. Into the future. As I mentioned we are now considering an expansion as well as opening up a family room. So we are we are committed to providing The best service we can giving..

"Um The Ronald McDonald house provided so much more every day when my daughter went to school. My mom always said that she believed two hours early so the girls could stop and talk to the ladies in the front office. They would talk about what was happening and what was going on. Then, when they got home from school, they had to show him all the pictures and talk about everything that was happening and I just remember when we left the Ronald McDonald house. Ellen comes up to me, and she had tears in her eyes and she was mom. What are going? Who's going to give all the ladies the hugs every day? Mom, they're gonna miss them. You know that became part of their journey part of their story. When Mom was unable to be there they had Family. They're the art therapy program. Helping them hell. I remember one day when Lydia had coded and we did not think that she was goingto make it. And you know, you come through the doors and you can hardly stand and there was a volunteer there who would just embraced me and the art therapist. Marianne had som E and took me back. And she said here, just throw paint at this this blank canvas and just get it all out. And I remember such a release and something so small when I couldn't pull myself together that There. They were picking up the pieces. There's so many different things that they offer you know, I was thinking about. We laughed in July came home in December. All the clothes that they went through and all the things that they They did while they were there. That was their life, and I just I am so appreciative for everything that the Romans Donald House does because it's so much more than just a room. It's truly part of our family. And the way that they're referred. The house that love built surely speaks through your voice and your words, You know, there's so many different things that they do the supportive programs, the meal programs. They have a secret garden. They have pet therapy programs and the fact that they serve, you know. I guess that over 3000 families were close to that. You know, there's a lot of people that they're serving and we could go into those statistics. But I think to hear firsthand from someone who has experienced All that they have. The offer really tells a great story. So thank you, Tiffany for sharing that when we come back, we're actually going to learn about how this house that love built. Puts all the pieces together for the families that they serve. We'll be back after this commercial break. Wake up feeling like you just boxed 12 rounds. Some wake up, sweating with sore jaws, headaches and a lot of our patients complain a brain. I'm Dr Mother Candler, and these signs often joined with snoring or sleep apnea symptoms. And if this sounds like you, you may have been in a struggle last night between you and the serious disorder. Many people aren't willing to fight back. But the fact is, you can't go through these nightly struggles without ramifications that each night chip away at your life's expiration date..

"Knew of Ronald McDonald house is being in that'll do you feel confident right next to the church Hey Chris children's hospital used to be right across the street asking for yeah that was the first in the area it was it was a second the world too is that right the first was in for the Philadelphia socially Chicago that launched in kind of really the movement hello to throw in everything how many are here now if I run a town houses here in the Chicago land area okay and how does that compare with other metro areas that were one of the largest second third largest in in the world and then there also because there's one right behind us isn't there is again new children's hospital absolutely and then you have played the rooms as well explain that form yeah so you know the house I'm really in your backyard here is soon to be seventy bedrooms running four bedrooms that that will open in a couple of weeks but it's a big house in so everything that we do your I do on our own home we do in our Amazon also has completely all the same enemy all the same amount I met a man yeah this get someone in to be seen as yet. so you know we're just trying to keep parents closer sick kid I guess we should start with that I mean I didn't really explain your mission but a tell us what it is that that that you do and why some poor yeah well you know we believe that when a child is sick family sick and so our mission is really to keep kids and families close together and help them get better together and so we partner with our pediatric hospitals in the Chicago land area to make sure that those critically ill kids can have their families close and so you know whether you live and Naperville or you know in an area that is too hard to kind of get back and forth right just to be bad cider beer child you can stand around the topics the health care system in a way absolutely I mean that the children but I would imagine their recovery benefits by having family nearby that's right so you know if we can help families be nourished and taking care of and have a good night's rest then that they can go back you know and and re can I mean redo their cycle the next day I'm being other Ptolemy and they're part of a medical decision the treatment team how far away is the typical gassed I mean photo. your average is probably four to six hours right so we serve families from all over the world last year we had families from forty five different states but the you know here in Chicago here in Chicago we're primarily serving Indiana and Illinois so I would say about fifty to sixty percent of families using around a townhouse in the Chicago land area are from those those two states and so what's the new you have a mole I didn't know you had sort of a mobile office we have a moral system explain that for me yeah we have a great partnership with advocate children's hospital and we do mobile medical outreach to children to get them access to care in underserved areas so our primary partners are with schools and trying to make sure that we help them stay in school so a lot of early detection screening immunizations and we do a lot of dealing with what I would call food in securities so we'll we'll see about addiction find if what it what is it for maybe lack food nutrition at home okay he's just getting him some basic port so we have a backpack program that when you get on the caramel bill and the social worker the nurse at the school was identified that perhaps there is a food challenge at home and getting access we make sure we select this and I can hold the back into how many kids are affected by that every year this year will probably reach about six thousand kids while so it's a great partnership that we do and you were part of that health care continuum of making sure that those kids get scene and and find a health for home quite frankly so also the one issue but there was trouble last year or earlier this year down at the university of Chicago hospital right to the facility there I had a devastating flood where are you with that we are scheduled to open October first night it's been a long haul it's been close since February and we were of part of the victim of the polar vortex and experienced some extreme weather conditions with our pipes and our sprinkler system that really did destroy the inside of the house and it was fast and so about a two and a half million dollar loss and the community really rallied around us and we are so grateful for that so that's gonna open up soon and open for twenty two families will welcome back we have band at putting in a hotel since February the you know we talk here about taxes and Ted Textor nations in a I'm interested in charities whether they've seen a drop off in their donations with the new tax laws there's less incentive tax wise to donate yeah have you noticed anything like that yeah I think we're still a little bit on the learning curve I think this was the first year that people really realized what was happening with their own tax situation and so you know I think that we ended up maintaining who I would say is our loyal of donors and it may we have let me some limitations now on you know what would be new donors try some people getting interested because I think that as people are affected based on the circumstances they are staying committed to maybe what their core charities are but maybe the room for growth and supporting others become are limited yeah I think that will look I'll just say for myself because I'm a Scrooge advisedly but. this sort of peripheral donations art is attractive to me as they would have been if I had to text a nation my core when certainly are absolutely but the ones walking on the street I must might be a little less likely that's going to be a challenge for people like you to excite us into warmer heart a little bit yeah I I think listen as as things change like this you know we all in jest and we're just working hard to make sure that we're reintroducing mission to this our mission to folks who may not know about us which is this conversation today is helpful kids are going to get sick and families need your support and so we don't have the luxury of sitting back and not being aggressive at finding donors and getting them to continue to give I knew that you welcome families I didn't know you went to the schools and help kids there that's that's outstanding yeah the thanks very much for coming in how the book and all this is C. E. O. "At the at the Ronald McDonald center where there's water and there's tranquility why at you W. yeah do they put the water falls in so the students can have a a calming presence and and so you know you look at this you have big commercial concerns spending thousands and thousands of dollars to put these things and to change the mood of the people that there are people who have children that are are are you know at the Ronald McDonald house staying there because our kids have childcare things like that is a common thing where they can sit down they can say their prayers they can do whatever they need to do in that area so when you talk about that and you really think about it why are people doing that in commercial spaces because they understand then you can transcend that into I'm a home you know you you get home at night after working all day it's stressful for everybody okay we're all working hard we're all trying to make ends meet we're taking kera kids everything else when you get out on that day I can you pour yourself a glass of wine and you listen to that water feature maybe got some music on in the background you know what the dozen times I've been out on my deck doing just that and thinking sure thank you lord for this think about tech about a look a typical ponder what a water garden next to patio or deck okay I'm gonna list off a couple things here that if you have children that ponder or water garden is gonna be such a great educational tool and that child is going to grow up remembering all that part of what I had while I was growing up you know he's gonna learn about all the frogs in the ecology the biology in nature and things like that so right there it's an educational tool but you can also away from call of duty or whatever pulled away from the video is running right right then then you've got your the de stressor for the husband and wife and he got that going on and that's always a very and a very priceless kind of thing to have that that distress or at night right and then you just have that resale value to I mean really a water feature can add a lot of value to your landscape and a lot of value to your home and and things like that I I could go on and on and on and so a water feature it in itself just adds so much to people's lifestyles you know and and they are affordable can you really until you actually see them you really can't appreciate what we're talking about again if you go to aquatica dot com take a look at some of the water features on water ponds on for a quite a coupons I'm sorry I was yeah but the other thing is unfortunately for for those listening now the pond tour has sold out but every year you get a bus older private tours you want you want a private tour give us a call will really all absolutely I do you know there's a new one okay so you'll drive people around Sean Parker that you've done specifically I would suggest your shop we have lots of displays I would suggest though if you have an area in your yard that you're thinking okay maybe maybe I could put a small water feature here or maybe could put a gigantic water feature here what you should do is is maybe take some pictures come into the shop and then you can go to some specific places that have similar water features yeah you know I work right now we're booking for our our late summer fall season call us now so we the fall is a awesome time to build one of the most enjoyable times most creator you guys because it's not so damn we're not rushed as much I don't it's such a creative time to build our our crews really you don't do well in in the late summer and fall as far as creativity you get a great product and sore booking right now for you know late summer fall and come to our shop we got a lot to displays were right whales are quite a coupons dot com you can go to our website look a lot of pictures no I did say that that you know earlier in the segment I did say that you know you guys kind of have a grow issue there but you do do plans and you will get a basic idea of what's going on what's nice about it is that you're not really locked in if you want to add a plan for your you want to add a feature there one might my favorite one has always been the whiskey truck you at the old vintage truck that look like it crashed into a pond with a beautiful beautiful project you know even if you're working with a landscape company we do work with many many landscape contractors in the area side by side yeah we're partners with them I'm a former president of the Wisconsin landscape association and we we do a lot with the landscape community so if you already have a favorite landscaper give give them a call and land and ask him if they work with us and we're happy to work with them now earlier you were talking about community stuff and one of the things I always like to bring up with you because I think it I think it real dove tails into your business but it also dovetails into your your your business ethics is that you guys are relatively big donors and the end of time and resources to the wildlife in need center in yeah we do a lot with the the wildlife in need center in if you have injured wildlife I always like to let people know where to take injured while life to get rehabilitated the wildlife in need center right awful Waterville road in the town of I don't want like a kind of walk does many area.

John Powell wrote a masterful book, why am I afraid to tell you who I AM The Answer in short because I'm afraid you won't love me. If I do there's only one person who knows full e and loves us fully because God is omnipotent. He looks on the heart in knows everything. And because God is love he loves you and me with an everlasting in steadfast love. No one else is on Nisshin. No one else is essential nature is love. That's why no one else can know us fully and love us fully. Here's why this fact matters as Craig Denison notes until you're longing to be fully known and fully loved is satisfied in the wealth of God's affection for you. He will never stop seeking elsewhere until you know, beyond a shadow of a doubt that you are cared for thought about liked in wanted by your creator. You'll never stop trying to satisfy those needs and others. And we know how that turns out what does God's omniscient unconditional love. For us mean in practice. Here's what it doesn't mean. It doesn't mean that we should see ourselves as more valuable simply because God knows fully and loves us. Fully the Lord knows things about us. Others do not. But this is not why loves us more than they do. He loves us because he is love is love is an expression of his nature, not are merit. As a result. We need never fear that he will learn something about us that will cause him to love us less. Here's what God's unconditional love. Does mean we should seek to love others and ourselves as he loves us. Jesus was clear as recorded in John thirteen thirty four a new commandment. I give to you that you love one another just as I have loved you. You also are to love one another just as could be translated in the same way. Our Lord wants us to love each other as unconditionally as he loves us. And to love ourselves in the same way. How the first fruit of the spirit is love when the Holy Spirit controls an empowers us. He manifests the love of God in and through us. It's not that we love ourselves and others more fully, we experienced in share his love imagine, the impact of our influence on our culture, if every Christian loved every person he or she knows with the love of Christ years after the holocaust survivor. Corrie ten boom learned vital fact, it is not on our forgiveness anymore than on our goodness that the world healing hinges. But on his when he tells us to love our enemies, he gives along with the command the love itself for whom do you need his love today?
