I am filibustering right now, hoping that hoping that Greg Cody of the Miami Herald decides to join us again because he's very busy, you know, just glowing radiating from how much you got to talk about his fantasy team and his podcast and the local hour and the digital out. He's had a great morning. Those four he really has. He's really happy. So, Gregor, you ready for this? We've got to start with you because the useless sound montage will bail us out at the end of the segment. It is back in my Day that you don't have confidence in, um failed. So are you ready to go? I'm ready. Let's do it. All right. Let's do it. Mike, I'm now It is time to take a trip down Memory lane. Here's your guy. Great Cody with back in my day. Lizards. It is not that much of a stretch to say that Greg Cody was raised by Brown and Oli lizards all my life from the 14 40 days until fairly recently, not a day went by that I wouldn't see dozens of Brown and always darting and capering over the landscape and internal part of the moving outdoor portrait. Only one other critters is vivid in my memory, the land crab After a heavy rain, you drive to Daniel Beach and see hundreds of creepy land crabs skittering everywhere. Clickety clacking. Klaus raise menacingly. Where was the brown and only the males floating their majestic, brightly colored do lap? The throat fan expanding. "The store and we had to go I was wondering are they supposed to fly south for the winter and what are they still in Michigan well you know it's one of a couple reasons flight south could have been delayed or postponed simply because it didn't get as cold as the they thought I was going to get you know climate changes is changing migration patterns of all kinds of animals or the B. birds with the butterflies with the insects these these patterns are changing with climate change so it's hard to say why those particular animals did not follow what was you know originally a normal life migration route cars in one Jim you're on ESPN radio with Ron McGill go ahead Jim wrong I grew up in PA close upon the palm of the three homed upon only Phil we don't know that yet do you have any animals out there that can actually protecting early evening or order for that matter thank you I don't think the family can predict early seasons the weather for that matter I do predict I do think their animals that can predict like one big storms coming hurricanes for instance I remember being down here in South Florida during hurricane Andrew and the day of hurricane Andrew it was beautiful with a breezy day blue skies puffy white clouds yet I could not find a single made of bird uneven native animal around the park that's normally full of them and I thought that was interesting of course that storm came in that evening with catastrophic so there's something the totals animals to get out of Dodge and actually use those animals as an indicator to me when I hear there's a hurricane warning if I go out and I see that the that birds are still around us okay her can't coming but it's not going to be as bad as it could possibly be or maybe at the predicting if I see birds have gone out of town I start to get really worried run I've seen a lot of products lately CB de products for dogs and I'm wondering one what your thoughts are on those into if they're more effective than things like you know thunder jackets and stuff like that are you know I'm certainly not a doctor veterinarian so I don't know I do know this that.

"You're on with Ron McGill zoo Miami. Go ahead. Charles. Iran. I'm originally from Alaska and we have these animals called muss Cox and they're amazing animals, and my dad when I was growing up seeing the one that was way from the hurt it was obviously, old and dying. But he he kind of made a friend of the last couple of weeks. It's life. And I was wondering what your the must have been around since the Pleistocene area almost as long as Greg, Cody, they'd be love, Greg, Cody, and so just wondering if what was the most amazing man will that you animal that you have seen in the wild. Geez. You know, like I say, most pretty incredible they deal with coal temperatures beyond almost what any mammal can deal with. So they're pretty incredible. Most amazing animal seen in the wild for me. I have to say it's sound boring and most people, the my tiger the first time I saw tiger in the wild. I was on foot, no gun, no nothing with a guide walking through a place called bond of gar and literally, you know about twenty yards in front of me. There was a tiger staring at us to the bamboo and to be able to see a tiger. I on foot in the wild. That's one of those moments you never forget. I mean my favorite saying the world is, you know, life is not measured by the number of breaths. You take. It's measured by the number of times, your breath is taken away, and that was a breathtaking moment. Alison, just blurted, not with the best timing, that air conditioning is better than sliced bread and she's right air conditioning, better than sliced bread it came before sliced bread. Joey, you're on with Ron McGill of Zuma and go ahead. Hey, Ron first time, long time called him a mobile phone. I live out here in east Hollywood, Florida and mosquitoes are getting pretty bad this time of year. And we have that house, but it's not set up. So it was wondering if you could tell me how to set up house, and attract abets, and also how much freshwater do we need to provide? You don't need to provide any freshwater for the bats. The best thing I can tell you, because this is a very short radio segment is go to YouTube say, set up a bad house, you'll see the great advice there on where to sit at the height to sit, you know, the type of shade to put it into, but about house is one of the best control items you can have mosquitoes anywhere in south Florida. You don't know how to set up about hat bad house to you. You're just sending people to the internet and just saying go you. I'm trying to do because you always tell me before I go on the show. Ron keep your our answers short short. We got a lot of callers keeping short. Don't go into these, these essays about things. So I was trying to specially listened to the host of the program. I'll make an exception this time. Tell me how to make a bad house you fraud. Okay. A bad house, basically bats have to come in from underneath it almost looks like a bird feeder, with wood on the side, you gotta have an overhang on it. But you have to have your opening underneath, and you have to have flats inside at the bats can connect to it cannot be in the in the pure son, and has to be an shaded area and being area away from where the sun rises. So this not heating, even when it rises. Okay. And in a quiet reclusive area, you can put it up on a pole, you can put it up on any kind of poll, you can even put up on the side of a big barn or big house up against, but you don't wanna do that, because what it does is they produce a mount of feces that has a very strong smell to it, so you want erect any kind of poll anywhere near to an open field area, gonna be direct sun. I retract my accusation, you're not a front rank it. Can we go onto the next question?.

"So the pouch is like a secondary uterus. And then all of a sudden about five months later. This little head comes out. They think kangaroos just been born. When in fact, it was born about five months ago. Really cool. Jason your own with Ron McGill za Miami. Go ahead Jason. Hey, guys. Thanks for having me on everybody knows not to feed while ambles Wiberg, feeder popular. That's a good question. But I think what people are doing is bird feeders are out to try to get birds to come into certain yards to feed on insects. And the feeding is more of a supplemental thing it's not something that birds depend on except in the wintertime where people certainly do put out food and bird feeders in the wintertime in the northern states and do provide. I think what is key nutrition for these birds? There's a lot of discussion as to whether that's good or bad. I think at the end of the day the birds are using that as a supplemental food and don't use it as a primary food source, and for that reason, it's okay just to draw them into the yard and draw them into the environments having yard to make your backyard more for natural place and Rica, you're on with Ron McGill of Xuemei in go ahead into the gate. Hello Ron a big fan when I was younger. I remember eating head wail. And I was wondering what's the most exotic animal you've ever eaten? Jeez. I I'm sure that I've unfortunately, eating some sort of primate in Africa. Not sure what it was. But I was with an indigenous drive in in Rwanda. And I'm sure that I was eating something there that was not normal. I've eaten you know, big insects big bugs and things like that. And the Amazon and I've eaten I've eaten copy bar, which is the world's largest rat eating the Guan. But that's not that exotic. So it's pretty exotic put it on the poll out. Have you ever eaten iguana? So the large rat, which is the best tasting of those things. I got it to be honest with the large rat was really good. It was done. Like when I saw, you know, it was like really roasted well know anything anything anything marinated in. But how do you? The mental part of your it's a giant rat. It's like as big as you know, it's big it's a big red. You know on the positive side. It doesn't look like your typical route with a long naked. It doesn't really have it looks like Guinea pig. No, I'm serious and well. Well, it was rat had to eat it because I was part of the culture there. And you know, you don't wanna disrespect the culture. So you eat, and I gotta tell you it wasn't that bad. I mean, really was with the garlic. It was a cell. They put some some citrus juice on it and stuff. It was really good. Well with rat. I don't know. I don't like wine, but I'd guys anyway, by the way, the poop thing that's old news, we had a scoop on poop exhibit here years ago, very popular wine, but you like rats Kevin you're on with Ron McGill zoo, Miami, go ahead, Kevin. Hey, Ryan, how do you think that great white shocks could have something to do with us for your another cure, the cancer and do steroids? Guys, like comes in bonds is everything all. Okay. Miss the steroid port. I can tell you great white sharks sharks? In general may have clues as to what the cure cancer is. Because for some reason sharks seemed to generally speaking be immune to cancer cancer's, not found in sharks. And you know, scientists trying to find out why what is it about sharks that makes them Yun to cancer? So you never know they may have a key there as to the cure to cancer for us Santos. "Seventy six or five six or eight three seven is the telephone number. If you wanna talk the Ron McGill zoo Miami, and if you wanna do basketball, if you're not here for animals, even though it's very popular segment. You can go to Instagram live standing Gundy is they're doing all the basketball things with Billy. We're on Instagram at lebatardshow. That's where thank you my grind. I should've said asked you, but I wasn't entirely. Sure you knew. Josh you're on with Ron McGill. Go ahead. Josh. Hey, Ron do an will ever have mental disabilities. And if so how do they manifest themselves? Yeah. They usually mental disabilities. Just like humans are found in animals. Unfortunately, the while those mental disabilities are not survivable for the most part. They are kinda weeded out of the population. Just by out being out competed for food or just taking over for territory. Taylor you're on with Ron McGill. Go ahead. Hey, Ron I know that bears get fat like for the winter. But it seems like humans just get fat 'cause they like eating, Dan or human Joey animals. They get fat for no reason as humans are animals. Get fat out of complacency. We have so much technology, and so many things made available to us such an easy way. We don't have to go out and conquer anymore when at hunters and gatherers anymore. We just go to the store and buy what we want to couch eat it. So our habits have created this obesity problem. It's not something that naturally occurs in humans. Brian you're on with Ron mcgilla zoo, Miami, go head Brian. Hey, Ron big fan. I have a pond in my backyard that was full of bullfrog, and I would go down to catch him and bring them to the house like flip them on their back and rub their bellies. And it looks like it would put him in a trance put them little tractors and put hats on them and stuff like that. I didn't know if I if if they liked that. Or why traumatizing then I always let him go back in the pilot. So I was. No, it's not something that survey like, but it doesn't necessarily traumatize them either. As a matter of fact that happens with several animals, probably alligators are the ones that are most commonly crocodiles and you put him on your back. You see sometimes indigenous people rub their bellies making you think it's the way they're rubbing the bellies and chanting that putting them to sleep. But really, it's not what happens when you turn some of these reptiles amphibians on their back like that the gravity causes the brain to displace a connection in the fluid. Nobody knows exactly what it is. But it does put them almost in a catatonic state. We've actually secured up crocodiles without using anesthesia just by putting them on their back and making them kind of go to sleep so to speak and as soon as you over they they wake right up. So something happens with gravity and the brain that causes displacement of fluid that kind of puts them in that catatonic state. We learned something around here every week from Ron McGill, even though we've been doing with this with him for about ten years if you wanna talk to him seven eight six four five six four. Ron this question's a little bit out of left field. But I'm curious did you ever get a chance to meet or no the famous ocean on version Cousteau, I did not? But I did get to know and have luncheon and a couple of times with his sons you'll Michel Cousteau and just an amazing, man. I mean, he's kind of you know, carried on his father's legacy. And of course, who still along with Jim Fowler, Marlin Perkins. Those were my heroes growing up because that's what we saw on television. The undersea world is doing mutual of Omaha as wild kingdom today. There's so many programs you kinda get lost in the plethora of them. But Jimmy, she'll Cousteau is quite an amazing, man. I heard some great stories about his dad. Why were you making funny faces at Ron McGill pronunciation there? Well, I just thought it was kind of funny because he went very French. And then he was like Hubbell bragging that I knew his brother, basically was or. Yeah. Our son sorry been listening. Yeah. Sorry, listening just got shift Laurent McGill. You know, what I just stopped paying attention? When you start trying to talk French, it's the older show we've ever done. I mean, Jacques Cousteau. You're on with Ron McGill zoo, Miami, go ahead Trent. Hey, Ron couple of shark questions. What is the fastest shark? And what's shark is the main? The fastest shark is the Mako shark. You know, I could be wrong there. But I'm pretty sure it's the Mako shark is the fastest shark. And you know, there is no such thing as a mean, shark guys. I I don't like putting that that term mean in front of an animal. An animal is is a is a product of its environment. If you're talking about the most dangerous, shark, it's probably going to be between tiger shark bull, shark and await white shark why because their animals that potentially could look at it human being as food, but they don't come to human beings thing. I don't like you. I'm gonna bite you. And I hope it hurts. That would be a mean shark that doesn't exist mean is not something you find an animal's again animals were product of their environment. If you have abused animal, it's going to be quote unquote mean because it's been abused..

"It would have to be a bird of prey because it covers much more distance. Whereas their barriers with water, and such or something like a terrestrial predator harp eagle could sup- down and grab these things and pick it up, and, you know, kill it up in a tree or something and have a much greater range of you to cover much more area. I read that in Brazil a Jaguar cub died after only two days alive. In was then eaten by its mother in a wondering how rare is that. Or how common is that in the animal kingdom, you know? They don't know that much about Jaguars yet. But they're Suming that it is not uncommon Jaguars. Because. It is seen relatively commonly and other animals, especially when it's the first birth. New mothers, many times do not know how to be mothers. And it takes them. Sometimes a couple of tries before they actually get into that natural behavior where they're being good moms. So it's definitely not unheard over animals give birth and they will kill their babies and eat their babies, especially during the first the first term, you know, their first pregnancy. It is not uncommon at all Ron can you tell us. Did you read that story about the poacher who appears and killed by an elephant? And then eaten by lions that is correct poacher. Rhino poacher in Kruger National Park in South Africa was trampled by elephants killed by elephants and later consumed bioline and a lot of people are saying that's karma. It's the way it should be, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. You know, and yes, I mean, they'd probably have no love lost. But if poacher, but at the end of the day, Dan, we have to put this all in perspective these poachers doing what they can to survive. It's. The middleman if the guys that are out there paying this huge amount of money that are getting these guys to go out there to do this kind of stuff that really need to be stopped. It's a supply and demand. The poachers are only China survive. I, you know, I'm gonna probably make a lot of listeners cringe when I say this. But if I'm out in the Bush, and the only way I know to feed my family is to kill an animal. I don't care. What animal it is my kids. My family are not gonna starve if the only way I know to do this is by doing something like that. I'm gonna do it. I gotta protect my family. And unfortunately, most of these poachers are those people these are people that just they know the land. That's the only thing they notice survive, but they're getting paid by these jerks. These people these middlemen who create this demand. So yes, I understand satisfaction in this poacher being killed and consumed by a lion. But I would be a lot happier. If it was a guy who was paying them. So a lot of people athletes over the years have asked Ron McGill for favors Shaquille O'Neal asked Ron McGill to help him by tiger round the Gill with help. But here is Dwayne Wade in his own words with what seems like a totally irrational fear. Let's listen Tom about right here all birds outside. We know me to come out. Komo now here. Wait, no me. I told you guys in the show many times Dwayne has a profound real fear of birds. I I met Dwayne Wade probably got ten years ago fifteen years ago when he came as a rookie where I had to do a he family fest on south beach had a giraffe out there. They had all kinds of animals they hired out there that I had nothing to do with. But I bought a king volts or and they asked me to stand next to Duane weight. And he was just sweating. But he'd kinda just he was just a new guy in a team. And I guess he didn't want to show that profound fear well in the volt your flaps its wings, and Dan, he screamed at like a little girl and ran and I mean, he was sweating tears in his eyes. And I I I don't like I mean, he he really has as a matter of fact, when they go play the hawks in Atlanta, you know, the hawks often will fly a hawk in the arena before the game. Dwayne will stay in the locker room until they flown that hot..

Listen to you guys while deployed to thank you for taking my call. Hey round. We always talk about pound for pound who the best fighter in the world is pound for pound. What does the baddest animal on the planet? Like, if a lion the same side of an army ant. What's the fight who would win? Thanks. Oh, that's a good one. The army and going to kill the lion. Pound for pound the army, and it's gonna kill the line because an army an aunt can live a hundred times its weight think about that think a lion could lift fifty thousand pounds trying to think about that. It's amazing. So the ant you're always going to go with the aunt pound for pound, especially something like army or got even a bullet in you know, the bullet ant that things got that sting that bite that it gets the name because it feel like you've been shot. "I know she will never do this again. But you know, there's a guy who said this, and please don't take this disrespectfully. You just cannot fix stupid. Wow, Ron McGill is really feisty today. He goes you just said she deserved what she got. I didn't think he deserved what she got. But you know, what it is? It is almost a a given that this is going to happen. When somebody does that if I go to the Everglades one more time, and I see somebody with their back to an alligator taking a selfie of themselves for clicks in likes. What the heck is this world coming to what you guys do for clicks in likes on social media is nothing short of stupid. Sometimes I gotta tell you. I know this is not the politically correct thing for me to say. But guys, I'm just saying what a lot of other people are thinking you gonna smarten up a little bit. You gotta get intelligent. This is common sense, which just doesn't seem to be common anymore. Mike. He's coming after. We'll as the biggest truth teller here at the network run McGill is angling that was as passionate as he's ever been an as how to take as he's ever given. The people I'm tired of people lashing out at people who, you know, at zoo's doing a responsible thing keeping an animal responsibly because somebody is irresponsible when is somebody going to take responsibility for just not being so bright run. I was going to mention the Jaguar zoo selfie that the woman took and ask has anything like that ever happened to zoo Miami, where a zoo goer has imperilled himself or herself by doing something stupid. Yes. Yes. Now. Fortunately, nobody's really ever gotten hurt. But we have caught people doing things like leaning over fences stepping over fences to get a better picture. Get a better angle. My god. It's a photograph. Stop it. Okay. So we have seen that. This is something that just I don't know how to explain it, Greg. I just don't know how to explain it. It just gets me so frustrated because at the end of the day, you know, what happens if an animal does get hold of somebody all of a sudden, the animal gets vilified the animals hone all you need to destroy that animal if you need to get rid of that animal it now has tasted human blood. Oh, get over it apologized for that. Ron take it easy. Matthew, you're on with Ron McGill zoo, Miami, go ahead. Hey, Ron I really thought video of af I healed trying to make with a king penguin is it common in the animal kingdom for mammals to try to mate with a burger vice versa..

"If you wanna talk to Ron McGill of zoo, Miami, you can do so now seven eight six four five six four eight three seven is the telephone number PJ, you're on with Ron McGill Xuemei and go ahead and PJ. Yeah. How do animals in the wild recognize each other like how does a bird? No, it's another bird seeing that's the same as eight or a butterfly or like gronkowski sees another gronkowski. How do they know? Well, basically animals have much keener senses than we do because they depend on them. Just for that reason for defecation smells sounds. These are very key indicators for different individuals to different animals, but smells are probably the biggest thing, you know, we disguised ourselves with perfumes and deodorants and stuff like that. But animals have key fairmont's produced T, smells that a dentist by each individual. I have a question run. What is my dog like my wife more now very early on in the puppies life. My wife was one that fed the puppy for the formidable first few months, but now we're feeding and just about the same and I'm loving this dog and it likes my wife more. And I don't understand why because it a very young age hierarchies established. And basically your dog is looking at your wife as the one who wears the pants, and that that pride because she took care of initially dead dog bonnet to your that those initial bonds that initial almost like an imprinting is what lasts the dog's life and the dog actually knows that the pants are worn by Colton you're on with Ron McGill because it's that obvious. The dog's not that bright, isn't that obvious? You're on with Ron McGill zoo, Miami, go ahead. Yeah. Ron what big cat is probably the most easiest to Mesic like, and I have a lion live beside me. Not happy. Oh my God. You know, I'm going with this, right? Guys, y'all Ragas? There is no big cat that can be domesticated. Okay. The word domestication, basically means thousands and thousands of years of generation after generation of keeping an animal under human care. These big cats and everybody wants to have as a pet whether it be allying where it'd be a tiger Jaguar whether it'd be a cheetah whether it be several any of these big cats. Listen, they all had that instinct that is not going to go out and just because the way you take care of the boy, you raise it. So please get that out of your heads guys. None of these animals are going to give you that kind of affection that a dog or a cat that you can save an pound can do for you. I mean, God, I don't know how much I am. I going to say this on this drives me bananas. When people think that I wanted to domesticate this. I wanted to be my pet because there's going to be cool when I walk my tiger on my leash. Good god. Gene, you're on with Ron McGill zoo, Miami, go ahead Jeanne. Mcgill settled down. Boy, Jesus we all know that only Harley race can domesticate these kind of animals what what I wanted to ask you if you do find yourself in a situation like that. What is the best wrassling move to defeat? One of these animals is armed drag down. Is it a suplexes a figure for? I mean, we all know that they can't be beat. So what would you use dodge the question I poke, and what did you make of that? Was it a Jaguar that attack someone in Arizona like what are you doing? Wait, wait a minute. Wait a minute. Wait a minute, Dan. Let's look at that attack in that zone. Okay. This woman crossed a barrier. When up next to the literally had to lean up against the enclosure barrier because there's no hole big enough for entire foot to come through. So that clog got her arm because she wanted to take a selfie with a Jaguar. Okay. Listen, this is what I call natural selection. I mean, I I hate to sound so cold, I really do and I feel badly that the woman got hurt..

"The telephone number. If you wanna talk to Ron McGill, it's going to be the only time this month that you get taught him because he's headed to an article seven eight six four five six four eight three seven is the telephone number. If you wanna talk to Ron McGill before we do that though. Do you have any news or information, you can give us on the whole that opened up near where you're going in article that is big enough to hold two thirds of Manhattan. Well, the huge shelf. Brock broke off the size of the state of Pennsylvania, huge ice shelf broke out broke off, and that's kinda ominous because there's so much fresh water in that ice that that really start to begin to melt that of course, the horizon people like us down here in south Florida could be experiencing smaller beaches and backyards, if you know what I'm talking about. So what are you going to article to do basically, I'm taking a young lady who wanna contest hold every year and EKO hero contest for a high school student who's done something extrordinary for environment. And she didn't extraordinary thing and coming up with this water purification system for third world countries, and such and he wants to cut this. So I'm taking down there to do a documentary looking at the Antarctic peninsula through her her eyes. So that she basically can explain to her peers in such what's going on in Antarctica. You know, this, you know, it's not just penguins, ice and Wales. There's a lot of stuff down there. And hopefully looking through her is doing a documentary for the affiliate down south. Florida people. Learn a little bit more about it. Maybe a little bit more about it. Chip you're on with Ron McGill Zuma and go ahead, chip, what are some of your hobbies around? Big hobbies talk. I mean, I joy for talk. If you more than words can say it helped me documentary things that I see in my travels. It helps me tell the stories. That's a big hobby of mine. I enjoy I bet that's pretty much it. This is going to sound a little kind of disgusting. But I love articulating skeletons. I did that as a little kid. I would get animals that maybe were hit on the road and died, and I would use a whole colony of Beatles to clean them down to the bones, at least the bones out together. And then glue them together like some kids in model airplanes, I did model skeletons with a real skeletons and by putting them back together. I learned temendous amount about those animals. It's the weirdest thing you do. Really, really, not guys. It's really not. I have one of the largest collections of skulls private collections in Florida. That's something I started collecting 'cause that was a little boy, you know, I would never kill an animal for skull. But animals died naturally were killed them on the size of the road and stuff. I was a little kid. I would drive out the side of the road. And I would take the head of the animal, and I'd bleach it out and put it together. But the team together there's so much you can learn from that. I know it sounds kind of weird. But really, it's so cool. I mean, I've got everything from, you know, a lion skull to an elephant skull. I mean, I've got all kinds of really cool stuff. And I feel like over the years. Is there a big competition for that title largest skulk election is I I I mean, I don't have the largest I'm sure there's there's certainly public logic elections, and and many private people too. But it's not a competition. But you'd like to have, you know, something rare when I go to schools if I had a kid a lion school may hold onto a lion school, and they can see that the teeth are not these razor sharp teeth..

"Can be true. But you have to keep it in perspective. It's a bird featherweight hollow bones as opposed to a dinosaur, which is huge. Okay. The head of the dinosaurs much smaller comparison to its body than the head of the Finch not to mention it doesn't have feathers, and hollow bones 'em, you're on with Ron McGill zoo, Miami, go ahead, Tim. A I read a story about a year ago about on two guys was out in a jungle and a snake has one of one of the guys whole I want how long would it take for snake to swallow human home? Well, of course, it depends on the size of snaking the size of the human. But generally speaking if the human can be swallowed, I think once the human is dead and the swallowing proceeds it would probably take about twenty minutes to forty five minutes. And that's something. That's plausible. Like what what is it that? That's happened. Oh that has happened that that that's happened snakes have swallowed human beings. I have seen that myself. I mean, not impertinent, but I've seen reputable document footage of that. Oh, yeah. No. They've swallowed. It was I believe nineteen Ninety-seven. Right. Keep it down spit it out. And then Jon Voight weirdly winked while covered in some sort of snake fluid, but his job bone was broken. All that crap that you guys are watching documented cases Asia, right? There have been documented cases in Asia. There's documented taste with Jon Voight. You guys just you kill your own credibility. Go back. Casts. Caller, Ron we were talking baseball hall of fame last segment, and I'm wondering if there was an animal hall of fame, and you were in charge of who got in who would be your first three animals in the animal hall fit. Heartbe eagle the killer whale and. Snow leopard. It's a good list, odd choices. They're good. Lists was gonna come with Commonwealth king of the jungle. I mean, you're wrong. You're wrong. The king of the jungle. You can't not have the king of the jungle. Yes. Really? You didn't have keep him Babe Ruth out of the hall of fame lion. Gotta be there. Let me tell you something. Josh you're wrong with Ron McGee zoo, Miami, I love that as a segment you Google this. Josh you're on with Ron McGill zoo. Miami. What are your thoughts on using those Santa products for domestic animals, whether it be hemmed base their campus base? You know, I'm not familiar enough enough with that even comment on it. So I don't wanna give you any kind of opinions since I really am not familiar enough to know about it. I'm sorry about that. I failed epic fail here. So you've got you've got some advice. No. But I've talked to a friend about it. And he says there are massive benefits. Dav you're rent. I know you you were clear on that. I gotta tell you got something Ron is right about this. No leopard, the leopards amazing. I wasn't objecting to that. I was Jenkins in the heartland legal being a head of the lion. Oh, heartbeat eagle? If you've seen an animal point, three miles an hour, and grabbing a full grown monkey on a canopy and keep grab a line and pilot tenant grab it beat a lion. Grab harp eagle. I'll tell you. What can learn I harp eagle can hit a lion. But a lion can never get a heartbeat. Eagle brother. Okay. What happens to what what are you watching Anaconda dob? You're watching that stew out. Stop it. It's great dob your mic was right. He winks. I volley. Bald eagles better than the Harvey. What oh all eagles. Nothing more than a vulture with a good PR agent. "Seven eight six or five six four eight three seven is the telephone number. Greg Cody is insane right now already has a tense relationship with Mike Ryan they've been screaming at each other throughout the break about the UM Ohio State call I believe what was it fifteen years ago sixteen years ago now to bowl, and I am just as fired up today. They were yelling at each other. But also, Greg Cody was yelling because we clipped them on the network out. He was yelling at his son. There goes your inheritance as we went to the break or he was calling material. So we will get to Greg cody's blasphemous and wrong opinions in the next segment, but I it's Ron McGill. And if you want the telephone number to call him, seven eight six four five six four eight three seven, Sal, you're on with Ron McGill. Go ahead. Hey, Ron R rhinos just overweight unicorns. Yeah. That's kind of a little tight on that. They've been given basically because tragically rhino populations are dwindling so much. They're thinking that you know, they they could be extinct if they're not protected, so they may be become a mythical animal of our imagination. If in fact, they're not protected, but then the horn coming out of the head, you know, it kind of ingratiates them to kids and hopefully gets people to care about them a little bit more. Josh you're on with Ron McGill zoo, Miami, go ahead. And I was wondering why donations are considered fire dogs. And if they're still around. You know, I don't really know Dalmatians have a certain challenges as dogs themselves. Many of them are death believe it or not maybe that has something to do with it. Maybe because they don't get stressed out by the sirens of of the fire trucks when they're going on a call or the dealing with the the loud noises in a fire house, but I don't know really the origin of the dalmatian being the fire dog. But as a breed, I know that sometimes they do suffer from deftness inherited deafness, Ron I read something that sort of a son of me, and that is the bite strength of the small Galapagos Finch is three hundred and twenty times stronger per size than the bite strength of the terrain. A source Rex Jesus can it possibly be true. It could absolutely be true. Now understand the weight of a Toronto source Rex let's put it in perspective here. Okay. Now, I don't know how they actually measured the the bite strength of trying to source. Rex incident extinct animal. I'm sure they probably looked at the skeletal structure kind of assume certain musculature, and they made a a prediction from that. But having said that that's a soon they got it. Correct. That the size of the Toronto source. Rex is so huge. It's so heavy so in wait, a bird is relatively light hollow bones, and the Finch this Finch is known for pulling these ticks off of Galapagos tortoises, which can be massive parasites and picks tremendous amount of strength and game off. So I believe that absolutely..
