"I agree I agree. He didn't have. We had him on the show a couple of times during that time period and we gave them some critiques. We told them menial more energy little bit more energy some of those early videos. I felt like I was learning something but I was also snoozing chuck's Jifa while watching it now. Dan has become this. Perfect telestrator operator. He's very good at describing things. Dan is very like I am A. We're big fans of Danner lots over here. Well that's the thing though pat with you you think. Everybody can bring both the energy in passion and excitement with the intellect. You're one of the only people that can do that. That can inform people but also get people super excited and be funny at the same time like there's not many people on the planet that can do that. Pat. I feel the same way about you. Aj you know what the thing about you is your so dry to. Nobody understands your humorously. I would assume that when you worked with some people. It was very difficult for that. They thought they couldn't get a budge on you. I would assume that is the case. Because I don't know how you don't have full-time somewhere. I honestly don't. There's a Kadewe right here you're looking at my full-time GIG PAT. Oh this is full-time through ask three days. Yeah I was just looking at my future. See if it was possible. I think this show is a potential. Maybe you know full-time thing. Yeah I I. It's probably an accurate representation of myself but you those golf. You have those golf events with all those celebrities to gyms cruise cruises and Ohio state. So probably have take the show off on those times but other times. I think we'll just continue to do this. What happens? Yeah we're here for the foreseeable future. I don't think anyone's going anywhere really doing a whole lot. So yeah why not all right? Well we gotta get out of here You don't have any more backdrops us at two backdrops set up. Oh Yeah I forgot. We're in the middle of that and be honest. Probably fucking reaper pepper dude. I'm that's all I'm thinking about it and you're shook you're shook like you. Are you feel right now? Like I used to feel the night before a conditioning test in college. I used to feel that way too. I understand exactly what? That's exactly how I feel right now. You're just you're nervous and whatever you're doing before it doesn't matter because it's like you're not even hear nothing matters. None of the. I can't prep for this. This is just. I'm just jumping into a situation that's going to suck and I'm just staring at right down a barrel. But I'm earn money for people and I want to let them be mentally tough enough to get that thing up to at least forty five hundred bucks which would be three minutes without touching anything. Do you have milk? Ready is supposed to help from what I've been told there's been a bunch of experts that have Sent me twitter messages. Not Messages between you get it that I've been like you know you got to fight fire with fire. Warm Up Tortilla. Toss that thing on your and then somebody's like do all the time. It's not the milk. It's actually the ice cream you need to put on your your tongue there. Then everybody has their own idea. Everybody has their own agenda. I have no idea what I'm doing. I'm GONNA have a drink because they're paying out the money to the commenters and I'm going to have milk. Probably that's GONNA end up just getting doused on my face if I had to guess what would be fun for for people to watch now. I'm glad you're doing it. You should talk to Chris. Is it Chris Evans? Who runs at first? We feast the hot wings. Show you to watch. I do just call him or the column reach out to him. I mean you're an internet celebrity. You're a huge star. I'm sure he'd be excited to get a message from you. I am nowhere near the hot ones level. That is Think you are. You're he seemed. He's a cool dude. He seems like it. Have you met him? No ceiling from interviewing people that are eating ferhat things. He does a very good job at the show. Yeah it's a new weird concept that you wouldn't think of and it's taken off great idea for show great show just like cold. His Balls Kevin Hart. The interview in Awkward Situations is always good and John Evans is great job. I think so again. We'll probably see that more now. Like people thinking of weird situations they can put you into because everyone will podcast. They've all done. I don't WanNa just sit one on one on anything. I need to come up with like a hook with something that makes me different from everybody else while the TV's turning into Internet right now they're facetime with people from backdrops our next one. It's literally an Internet. This is they're doing internet shows on TV right now. The next one is Michael Irvin. This was the call heard. Ron Houston one. Yeah Oh this guy's the basement of a church or a Ymca or boys and Girls Club. Maybe his house. I'm not sure the hanger in the background with his suit. This one is the best one not bad lit by the way not bad lighting but the optics just seem like you know what this guy is in the middle of something for sure. Get them the hell out of here. I mean Michael. Irvin's is pretty amazing. I I like that. Especially the he drops the he dropped. Supplement gets ran everywhere after he comes out yonder. Hopkinsville O'Brien comment. So it'll be interesting to see over the next twenty four to forty eight hours if we hear anything from Bill O'Brien in the Texans Organization and I give credited Yonder Hopkins. I guess we're kind of standing up for well is there? There's no one that's going to be better than that. Is there puke thinking about what's going on here in an hour? Why are you so nervous? You agree to do this. Why are you so nervous? I thought to do this. Two point. Two MILLION SCO two point two million scovill chart. What does that mean? What does that mean? I have no idea w pepper. Diggs got it. It came in his bag. It's dried to drive when we have to put it in water for fifteen minutes. It's going to be awful man. There's a lot of seeds in ones I seen to law the seeds man. Yeah I think you should just just block it out you'll be fine pat. Don't worry about it..

He is saying and actually single. ooh Okay next question so Yagi acid simultaneously are you have you saying he s. I am all right. Good okay so I found article is called ten reasons. Why people are saying hi SORTA? I reason it says that people are saying was because money is that there are people around who are single and people haven't singled all anything like that is there are soda. People think that commitment is an expense says according to him they are committed to have to spend on their partners they after give for the birthdays anniversaries knowledge that something with these because you say enough single so do you feel like you don't have to buy another follow body reflex difficult. You'll tiger well. I usually don't expect I don't expect use. It'd be nice on dates. I'm I'm Kinda like Yale. You know you take care of the bill in lead to ochre sell on kind of open today now what you because you're in a thriving relationship that's combining gene so now do you enjoy buying stuff is Kinda like because I've heard some people say sometimes people will look at it as a burden but some people actually enjoy oy like spoiling their significant others who enjoys spoiling try to win. I can the next one. It says that personalities the reason people are saying that this the harsh reality but maybe you are thinking because nobody wants to be with you. Personality has a lot to do with this. Nobody wants commitment would've flirt okay so do you have a flirt either via do you a single was your flirt was a flirt house up woody mean house alike where you always always cracking jokes with Leslie stuff. I think is a mixture of both bill is in my case. I think it was the corning would help me more than it hurt me okay. My jokes is funny. Talk Judges Anti is mountain years realtor okay her knee. I'm alert and then we'll learn coban nowadays. The flirting Carmelite Hotel should meet you know like is like is the whole social media way so everybody. It's easier to flirt on social media argument yes in in those little you know heart is or you know just sliding corny jokes in you know what I'm saying. Just <unk> jokes that were okay a special meeting like I said it's easier and that's the way right now. It's not old school pickup lines will all the you know somebody said friend of mine is ever may owed until his life like like whenever he will close off and she will put other male A._O._l.. Or anything he can be funny. She lowers his elemental yourself like this the way to do it. That's one of the ways to do it. This one you make make yourself known dislike my lady. I made myself known. I didn't hide your no no but it wouldn't necessarily I like it wasn't a bugaboo it was more of I made myself know put my I didn't put myself out there but she saw who I was right. It was working there. We have different takes on this on. y'All's love story out okay. I was still still in pitcher okay so says sometimes people are still single because they love their Hicks. Okay never too much on that. I that that Eh me but he's up for. You know absolutely not okay. There's some cases though it is for. Some people say anything. I've never had issues with my ex. If anything come around you know as friends like Oh you know did you wrong but you know we still good still coup you know so the next one is overconfidence. Sometimes people are saying because they're overconfident. I find that interesting because it's like some women I know like confident softening me but then is like as a man confident woman. That's overconfident I do. She feel like she knows she can get. You guzm ethics pretty else but that's just me yeah or I'm not single moon. Well were you were. That's it as as a l.. May Pension is different ways. I guess I we say overconfident. I'm thinking somebody who is you know. Don't think they stink yeah. I don't like though I don't like that. "Immediately after the blast the humor of the entire situation. Suddenly gave way to a run for survival is huge chunks of whale blubber everywhere. Pieces of meat past high over our heads while others were falling at our feet the dunes where rapidly evacuated the spectators escape both the falling debris in the overwhelming smell apart car over a quarter of a mile from the blast site was the target of one large chunk. The passenger compartment literally smashed fortunately, no human was hit as badly as the car over everyone on the scene was covered with small particles of dead. Wale. As for the success of the effort on the seagulls who were supposed to clean things up were nowhere in sight. Either scared away by the explosion or kept away by the smell. That didn't really matter the remaining juncture of such a size that no respectable Siegel would attempt to tackle. Anyway, as darkness began to set in the highway crews, we're back on the beach burying the remains, including a large piece of the carcass, which never left the blast site. It might be concluded that should a whale ever washy shore in lane county, again, those in charge will not only remember what to do. They'll certainly remember what not to do. So. That was the report Walt. I just want to give them one more little plug here. And then it's back to you. Look this report has only at one other time in all its twenty five year history been released to anybody to run and that was to I think cagey. Oh, and San Francisco that did a piece on it. And so I feel very honored that KT you allowed us to run it. Now, they're very nice people up there in Portland. And once again, you can see it for yourself the video that goes with the report if you're in Portland, it'll be Wednesday November I in their newscasts at five pm and six six thirty and then eleven as well with the series airing Thursday and Friday, November second and third at five six thirty and eleven so don't miss it. And thanks to Doug Brazil, the news director and everybody else at K A to you. It was. A rare opportunity, and I'm glad we could provide it for you. Well, while there it was sound familiar. Always puzzled me about this fact that if you get under the. Underneath the bureaucrats and get them all upset about something you usually get an IRS audit. I never could understand is how I was the only one who protested what this guy was doing. How the hell he ever directed that piece of whale to the top of my car. But he did did you get audited? No. No. Did they promptly pay up? I mean, you hate me in two days in two days. Yeah. I gotta I gotta check it two days. I think what they were really afraid of this thing really made the newspapers AP wire service, and I had people from Germany send me the newspapers relatives I have over there. And I think what the what they were afraid of. It's probably all these people could've sued them at least for new clothes. We got home we had to rent a car to go home in. Yes. And we had an it with cold. We had to have the win all windows down all the way home. That's how bad it was. Now when you're napkins who who is not living anymore. The hell would they guy both funny because he went in the garage and his wife come out and she made him strip make it in the garage. Let him in. Now, you're looking back. This is obvious. You can laugh but on the day that it actually happened did did people at that moment. See really see the humor in this. Or I'm talking about group that was actually there and had all this stuff falling on them. They probably weren't laughing. It wasn't funny at all. And it's absolutely amazing. That no one was seriously injured. I mean, that's what I tried to tell this guy when he was doing another the Commissioner told me, it was not gonna kill somebody, you know, and as luck hazard at turned out to be a funny story. But thank God. Indeed won't I would like to submit just a few moments of questions from listeners. This is such a famous story that I thought I'd let you take a couple of calls willing to do that. Or I don't know what people would ask it's all pretty self explanatory. But we can find out. East of the Rockies, you're on the air with Walt on Hoffer. Hello there. Hi. Hi. Where are you an Eugene, Oregon, Eugene, Oregon, all right? You're on the air. That is Ron in Houston, Texas. Oregon Ron Houston, Texas. Yeah. That's what I meant to ask. Where you were. Yes, sir. Okay. Well, you're on the air with Walt okay hours. The story with art bell. Well, that's that's who you got. We're on the air. Now, you're on the air, Walt. Okay. I. And then really impressed. Levity in interest in the variation of projects that you bring forward through the people. What you're saying in word is I've got a weird show, sir. Thank you. I put a damper on it. But that you brought out over the last two weeks. Oh, that wouldn't be the moment for it, sir. We've got questions here for Walton. Only a few more moments with them west of the Rockies, you're on the air with Walt Amun Hoffer. Hi, hello. Art. I was actually not calling with any questions regarding the whale. I the trying to get a hold of us. I could ask you a couple of other things. Well, then you'll have to do that. After our guests are wildcard line two. You're on the air with wall almond Hoffer high. Yeah. Quick comment. I, you know, this the first time that this isn't the first time something like this has happened. I think I think it was done once before right northern California. When I was in college in nineteen seventy eight my professor told us about in northern California where they tried to blow up. Same kind of thing where they tried. Yeah. It didn't it just kind of splattered. He's that it wasn't quite as quite a big show is what happened up in Oregon. This kind of splattered all over the place to the main card. Bill has anybody? I'm curious anybody come up with an actual good way to dispose of a well, I saw at the end they sort of buried in the sand. I think that's what they did in this case too. It's just it's an impossible situation. In other words, whales. Don't would you say that Walt that whales. Don't really well. I blew up part of it blew up. But there was so much of it left. I think better than half was still intact. Ooh. Wales don't blow up easily. No. First time caller line. You're on the air with wall on all right, gentlemen, Milwaukee. Yes. Turn red turn your radio officer, turn your radio. That's awesome. Okay. Good. Was there anyone that yield? She probably would have been a good idea. Was was. Okay. Thanks was there. Any kind of countdown. The television supplied one walnut was very dramatic. But was there any kind of countdown? They did otherwise on the site. All I remember them waving their hats, it one all clear how 'bout fire in the hole or something like that. Thompson. East of the Rockies, you're on the air with Walt Auburn Hoffer. Hi, how you doing? Well, good. Well, now, what about these environmental all these guys going crazy because someone blew up a whale would now believe me biologists and everybody and they weren't screaming. Holy. That was lacking the date back in the good old days. Let's put it that way today. They would probably scream bloody murder. There's no big protest when someone blew up away. No now now bear in mind. This whale had as Russia would say assumed room temperature to the point where it was hard to stay in the vicinity. So I guess that's your answer. Where are you, sir? Where we're in Houston, Texas, Houston. All right. Yeah. And I'm wondering about your book. Well, it's on the way are you going to get that second edition? It's in imprint now because I was wondering what's the big advantage to the first edition? Listen, I I don't want to go in don't tell me. Well, no. Well, all right goodbye. I know who he is. He's the guy who calls meals every morning wants to the Rockies you're on the air with Walt on hover. Hello. Hey, walk. Wild story. They're trying to picture myself being in that thing. This is Bill from Olympia. Anyone cares? I'm trying to imagine watching this well though, and all that stuff coming down. And I've tried to decide what do I run watched a fallen dodge the big one. That's a good point. In other words, running you wouldn't see one coming at you. At least a few stood in one place and kind of dodged around a little bit you you'd have. That's a good point. Yeah. That's what I kind of. Did I stood there? In fact, by what the big hit my car figuring. I don't know the personally that ever dodge it or not if it really come here. That's about moving pretty fast. That's what I'm trying to figure out. How? Dodger run, which one would work. You know, when you told it won't. Thank you caller. It kind of reminded me I like roadrunner cartoons. And I used to watch cartoons where things would go up, and you kind of pictured it as going way up and then sort of stopping. And suspending likely when a debt. As it reached its highest point. And then and then, of course, I suppose then slowly it would seem from the ground that it would begin falling back toward you that kind of deal. East of the Rockies. You're on the air with Walt on Hoffer. Hello. Yeah. What kind of car was that ninety eight regency? A what old rahmael regency regency a brand new one too? Brand new smelly region. Okay. Thank you. Yeah. Where are you by the way, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma city, right? Yeah. Brand new one that must've been heartbreaking. I mean, you know again. Yeah, we can laugh now. But I know how you feel when you have a brand new car. There's nothing like it. It must have been heartbreaking. You know, it was pretty serious thing until after it was over. Then we all had then then it became funny with nobody was hurt. At the scene or later at home when you were laughing about it. When later at home. West of the Rockies, you're on the air with wall hover aloe. Yeah. This is the Ron from Palmdale. Ron. Yeah. This story kinda reminds me of when the old days when I see the fireworks show class beat explosive and. Wiring finale or. I'm trying to think of the plate. Doesn't matter wherever it was. You were doing a show. Yeah. And we were wiring finale, and I was talking to this guy all all explosive guy and. He told me about a story when they were somewhere in Europe blowing bridges up and he said. You know kid when you wanna blow something up that? My teacher told me. You figure out how much dynamite you need. And you double it. And remind me of guy telling me, the story is there actually want any way to calculate how much dynamite would've taken to as they wish to do obliviate or turned into little tiny particles, such I think what they should have done it. They were gonna use the closer, you know, with puts them, maybe the case or two in singles stick on top of the whale and put it on top of it. So it would kind of blow it in apart in place more or less need still buried a pieces. But at least you'd have smaller pieces to bury. But. But this guy thought he was going to by putting the dynamite on the inboard side. He figured he was gonna blow the whole thing off the ocean didn't work that way. Wildcard line. You're on the air with Walt Amun Hoffer alot. Hello. Hi. Yeah. The sale. Yes, right thing to do is Buddha bar across the way. Do what a steel bar a steel bar? Yes. And then dirope and drag it out to see then you blow it up..

And as luck has turned out to be a funny story. But thank God. Indeed won't I would like to submit just a few moments of questions from listeners. This is such a famous story that I thought I'd let you take a couple of calls willing to do that. Oh, I don't know what people would ask it's all pretty self explanatory. But we can find out east of the Rockies you're on the air with Walt on Hawford. Hello there. Hi. Where are you an Eugene, Oregon, Eugene, Oregon, all right? While you're on the air. Rien Houston, Texas argon, Ron Houston, Texas. Yeah. That's what I meant to ask where you work. Okay. Well, you're on the air with Walt okay hours. And you on no real story with art bell. Well, that's that's who you got. We're on the you're now, you're on the air with Walt okay? I. Then really impressed. Levity in interest in the very of projects that you bring forward just through the people. What you're saying is I've got a weird show, sir. Thank you. I put a damper on it that you've brought out over the last two weeks trying to get through to you. That wouldn't be the moment for it, sir. We've got questions here for Walton. Only a few more moments with them. West of the Rockies, you're on the air with Walt on Hoffer. Hi, art. Art. Was actually not calling any questions regarding the whale. I was trying to get a hold of us. I could ask you a couple of other things. Well, then you'll have to do that. After our guests are wildcard line two you're on the air with Walt almond Hoffer, high quick comment. I, you know, this the first time that this isn't the first time something like this has happened. I think I think it was done once before right northern California. When I was in college in one thousand nine hundred seventy eight my professor told us about in northern California where they tried to blow up kind of thing where they tried. It. Didn't it just kind of splattered? He said it wasn't quite as quite a big show is what happened up in Oregon just kind of splattered all over the place to the main character Bill has anybody. I'm curious anybody come up with an actual good way to dispose of a well, I saw at the end they sort of buried in the sand. I think that's what they did in this case too. It's just. You know, it's an impossible situation. Another words whales. Don't would you say that while that whales. Don't really well. I blew up part of it blew up. But there was so much of it left. I think better than half was still intact. Wales don't blow up easily. No. First time caller line, you're on the air with won't almond author. Hi, gentleman, Milwaukee. Yes. Turn turn turn turn your radio officer, turn your radio. Okay. Good. Was there anyone that yield? So probably would have been a good idea. Was was. Okay. Thanks was there. Any kind of countdown. The television supplied one walnut was very dramatic. But was there any kind of countdown? They did otherwise on the site. Remember them waving their hats at one all clear. How 'bout fire in the hole or something like that? Yell thompson. East of the Rockies, you're on the air with Walt Auburn Hoffer. Hi, how are you doing? Well. Okay. Good. Well, now, what about these environmental all these guys going crazy because someone blew up a whale would now believe me biologists and everybody and they weren't screaming. Holy. That was lacking the date back in the good old days. Look that way today they would probably scream bloody murder. There's no big protests when someone blew up away. Oh, no now now bear in mind. This whale had as Russia would say assumed room temperature to the point where it was hard to stay in the vicinity. So I guess that's your answer. Where are you, sir? Where we're in Houston tax Houston. All right. Yeah. And I'm wondering about your book. Well, it's on the way. Are you going to get that second edition? It's imprint now because I was wondering what's the big advantage to the first edition? Listen. I I don't want to go into the don't tell me to listen. No. Well, all right goodbye. I know who he is. He's a guy who calls meals every morning west of the Rockies, you're on the air with Walt on Hoffer. Hello. Hey, walk. Wild story there. I'm trying to picture myself being in that thing. Oh, this is Bill from Olympia. And I'm trying to imagine watching this. Well, the all this stuff coming down. And I'm trying to decide what do I run or do? I watched the fallen dodge the big ones. That's a good point. Another words running. You wouldn't see one coming at you. At least if you stood in one place and kind of dodged around a little bit. You'd have that's the point wall. Yeah. That's what I did. I stood there. In fact, by what the big teeth hit my car figuring. I don't know the person who ever dodge it or not have it really come moving pretty fast. That's what I'm trying to figure out. How? Dodger run, which one would work. You know, when you told it won't. Thank you caller. It kind of reminded me I like roadrunner cartoons. And and I used to watch cartoons where things would go up, and you kind of pictured it as going way up and then sort of stopping. And suspending that remote exactly what I did. As it reached its highest point. And then and then, of course, I suppose then slowly it would seem from the ground that it would begin falling back toward you that kind of deal. East of the Rockies, you're on the air with Walt on Hoffer. Hello. Yeah. What kind of car was that? Regency. What are all Bill? Regency. Regency. A brand new one too. Abreast brand new smelly region. Okay. Thank you. Where are you by the way, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma city? Alright. Yeah. Brand new one that must've been heartbreaking. I mean again. Yeah, we can laugh now. But I know how you feel when you have a brand new car. There's nothing like it. It must have been heartbreaking. Actually at the you know, it was pretty serious thing until after it was over then we all had live. But then it became funny with nobody was hurt. At the scene or later at home when you were laughing about it. When later at home. West of the Rockies, you're on the air with Walt hover aloe. Yeah. This is Ron from Palmdale. Ron. Yeah. This story kind of reminds me of when the old days when I shoot a fireworks show class, explosive and. Wiring a finale or. I'm trying to think of the plate doesn't matter wherever it was. You were doing a show. Yeah. And we were wiring a finale, and I was talking to this guy, all all explosives guy and. He told me about a story when they were somewhere in Europe blowing bridges up, and he said, you know, kid when you wanna blow something up at my teacher told me. You figure out how much dynamite you need. And you double it. And Guyana reminds me of this guy telling me, the story is there actually want any way to calculate how much dynamite I would've taken to as they wished to do obliviate returning to little tiny particles, such I think what they should have done it. They were gonna use explosive, you know, with put some maybe a case or two in single stick on top of the whale and put sand on top of it. So you would kind of blow it in part in place more or less need still buried pieces. But at least you'd have smaller pieces to bury. Yeah. But but this guy thought he was going to by putting the dynamite on the inboard side, you figured he was gonna blow the whole thing the ocean. I didn't work that way. Wildcard line, you're on the air with Walt almond hopper. Hello. Hello. Hi. The. Yes, right thing to do is Buddha bought across the world do what a steel bar a steel bar. Put it across the whale. Yes. And then dirope and drag it out to see then you blow it up. That's what they probably could have done it button up. I remember that time. There was a pretty good sized tug foreign. Got a big met or something and put around it and put the dynamite in it. And Greg it out a couple of miles. And then touched it off. We'll see that's why I really the only part of the story that I don't have. And I wish I could get and I will pursue is the Genesis of it when these guys were sitting around whether it was in an office or in a bar after work, whatever, you know, how they came up with this. That would be good to know the minutes of the meeting where they planned it somewhere. He got a rule of thumb case dynamite. But tunnel whale per ton of well, I. Did you spend a lotta time arguing with him that this was. Well, I I got cut off pretty quick. You don't argue with it with a bureaucrat when he's in charge and Mike Reid. In the interview, he seemed very confident very confident. Yes, now, did you? You must have seen that interview actually going on. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, you did. So there he was. Yeah. He looked pretty proud and his only attitude after all of this was over. Reflectively was that he had not used enough dynamite. That's that's that's what he told the guy from Sports Illustrated. West of the Rockies running out of time. You're on the air with Walt on Hoffer. Hi. Hello. Hello. Yes. Where are you? I'm in reading the northern California. All right. Hey, I have something. I thought you might find interesting a well, we've got a guest on listening. Well, actually, I've been away from the radio. Well, actually, then I've gotta move on wildcard line. You're on the air with Walt almond Hoffer. Hi, hey, what's happening? Hey, art. How are you? Well, I'm art. He's caller. I'm aware. How are you all this evening? Good vine. What's on your mind? "When Paul got it. I got to stay lovelier. I did we did some leveler shows with and then when he was going to the sky working at the skyway a lot through Paul in. Silly willy Bill do Maske. I I was in on the skyway news. So I I would do once a month. Sometimes wants too much. I'd do show out at the skyway met Jamie, and Danny foster and all her family out there and Paul is a good fish. But he liked to go down south and fish for the those exotic scenes. Daycare. Yeah. Good guy. Good fisherman too friendly. Got never saw him without a smile. No never. Yeah. That was one of the things. I'll miss is. You know? Somebody like Bill Miller will know this because he's done this show with me quite often. It's up at four thirty. This is an early morning show. And the one thing you could always count on when Paul Bristow was your guest was that energetic smile that enthusiasm for fishing. He always had great questions for some of our some of our elite caller Savar callers that call in with takes surely always great questions for rod Ron taco box things like that. So again, I'll miss him from the from the show side the show will definitely miss him. But I I just I miss my friend texting me and constantly pulling on my pulling on Mattel, go go catch snakeheads. We gotta go cat snakeheads. And I never did do it. And it's too bad. He's a lawyer. Yes. You know, what university Wisconsin, you you bet really smart guy university of Wisconsin graduate him, and I would always talk badger football. When he came in badger hoops when he came in a little bit of a Packer fan. But he he actually grew up in Illinois and went across the border to UW to to go to school. So here's efficient at fear for for our listeners. Come and the Paul gave me then you know, I thought I'd been around the block will bit and and fancied myself as a pretty good artificial guy. And I wasn't real sure that that anybody could show me much, but but as often as I thought that somebody every task what I learned about doing a show like you do with other people you learn something chips, so we're fishing the the love lures, and I liked the love lures Denoncourt retailers have little paddle tail. And that's what always used in Paul. Brought along the curly tails, and we're Fisher one day, and I was digging it bopping it year real a couple of times bumped up. Like that Paul is just catching fish every cast. And then finally started looking at him. And I said Paul you're not even moving your rod, and he says, no Bill, you don't have to get that curly tail right down near the bottom and just real it slowly and every now, and then give it a little bumpy says you just swim it in that curly. He just realize that curly tail would spin and. He was just killing me. And I started doing and it worked. And so now, I'll ask can't help myself. I still jig. I sure, but if things are slow I'll always go to Pokka Paul's trick. And I'll real at think slow, it's not a not a new trick. But he he showed me something new that day, and it works to you know, you can you can count on your friends, your fishing buddies to always do that for you. Ryan record has done it for me a couple of times cap Ryan. So then again, I know Ben Marshall Cameron who sits in for me here quite a bit him and Paul have fish together. And I know battle mess him as well so thoughts and prayers to Paul's family, and I'll keep you guys posted on the arrangements for the celebration for Paul at the skyway. I'll let you know. Let's go the phones here. Let's go to j in Tampa seems to have a good question lineup. Jay. How are you this morning? I'm good, Mike. You made the Florida insider fishery port yesterday, I was watching the show and that snooky caught when you were doing that tournament down south. Yeah. Yeah. We it was one our boat caught actually Troy Pruitt caught it. I just got to landed for us. We were fishing snook and read Fisher biggest snook and your biggest redfish in that tournament. And I've had a lot of people texting me let me know that Ron Houston. Put us up there. The board there at at the insider Fisher report, that's pretty cool. That was nice. I just had a quick question about Shum either you or Bill could comment on it. When you're when you're catching bait on the beach. I don't know really if you use Trump or not, but. Could you turn me onto a good sham that, you know? I always keep man oil in my boat. And but something that that sink settled like go to the bottom disperse because I ended up buying a bag of shown that it's like a floating Shum, and you can't really you just don't really mix it or nothing. You just throw it out there, and you talking about really a big fan of it. You that you guys might use 'em eighty. What it is. What you gotta do is get it wet. Mix it dump it in your bucket. Whatever you're gonna use. And then get it wet. And then what it does is. It'll get heavier, and then it'll get down in the water column a little bit. If you just put it dry on top that it it'll just float.

"Oh yes. But the insect Kafka. Yeah, I feel like I feel like this Kafka on acid. You know, this is this is like, yes, you and you know, a couple of my latest weeds were, if Orwell went to a polish. And pitched or wrote five chapters of the Donald Trump regime. He would never have gotten a publishing because nobody would believe that was there was possible number one, and it's so ludicrous that it's not Senator -taining right what it is it's draining and it's outrageous and it's an assault in an offense. And there's no were obscenity that I could use that even compares to what he's done to those families, the southern border, what he's done to the rule of law, what he's done to the emoluments clause, what he's done to. The great, great, great. Patriots have our country who are working for peanuts to keep us safe like the NSA FBI. True patriots who are not looking to do book deals and and tour deals and rip off the country. In all the ways Trump empire is these guys just care about keeping America beautiful, and he chose them to be his enemies. He chooses them be his scapegoats. He chooses them. I mean, that is Hitler ship that is Stalin ship. That is the worst stuff we've seen in the history of man gyms. Of an assault on very, very things that define us. It clips his enemies list to fascism. It really does silencing your critics media, the enemy of the people who lies only one. He's awake. Use the term the term fake news about anything is and to have people who were actually buying into that Ron. I'm sorry, lessee. What's that America's fallen down the well. Sorry. I know I know America's almost you saw bud and driving down the street again. No, we know that's not safe zone. Only hope. Ron Houston's sporting. Fred. Every interview you've ever done, but I just thought shades on Joe Biden, I hang on Leslie, I'm coming. Nationals to kill the day with Ron Perlman come on, but you said I've always felt there aspects of me that were Munster's. I mean, he know you've played every as you've said everything. And that's the thing with where do you find the humanity or the anything in him? Right. Just 'cause we all go. We all have horrible parts of ourselves that we, you know, wish we're better, but. You even said about yourself? I'm being a director. I don't like working with me. I would punch myself in the mouth if I had to take my direction. I said that. I'd like to be the guy that said that, but also I'd be dead without my sense of humor. If you can't laugh your wealth way through life, you're fucked. Isn't that the thing he's also missing? He has no sense of humor, no sense of humor about himself. No. Like anything that any of our previous presidents have had a single thing that he does is is not magic, engineered create a response, which is what all conmen. Yeah. And I, the mistake that I made is that I thought that he had no core. But I really do believe that that this not only is he indebted to Putin for putting him in office and that you'll never turn on him for those reasons. But the that if he admires anything at all, it's that kind of. Savage power. It's that kind of, yeah, ruthlessness that would kill all of your enemies and speaks out against you. Clearly doors dictators v. one. So. So there's a core that I didn't think he had the his hatred for anything that's not white or anything that's not white, but that's worth more than a million and a half. That's a core value. He's been. It's not a positive positive Corvallis, but it's a core value from going up in New York. It's not just his anti Obama shit. He's been a racist all his life as was his daddy. Yeah, who hated him vote? He was like a piece of shit. What's wrong about a lot of stuff. You're right about that. What I'm saying? You know what I'm saying? I'm from a baby, I think with Putin. No part of his thing is Putin is incredibly wealthy because he's made all this money and Trump wants to build do that here in America too. Don't you think it's it's money? It's greed. And they both, you know..
