"Reluctantly connecticut accepted and was entered into the growing dominion. The charter was allowed to survive. Though for the time autonomous ruling connecticut. I come to a close. None of the colonies in new england served as more of a warning against the growing risk of royal control than to new hampshire new hampshire drain. The eighties was still a very small colony with a little over. Two thousand colonists. However the events of the late sixteen seventies and early sixties in new hampshire would have a dramatic impact on the entirety of the england. Going back. A bit new hampshire had been embroiled in a controversy regarding a royal rule for a few years before the emergence of the dominion. the problem. was that roger mason. The descendant of the colonies original proprietor had spent much of the sixteenth seventy s fighting to increases holdings. This included an amount of land that had become disputed between new hampshire massachusetts through a court battle. The king decided that mason had an absolute right to sell the land which he owned. The problem is that will he controlled the land. The king ruled that he did not give him the right to control the government over seeing that land in sixteen. Seventy nine charles. The second made new hampshire a royal colony and said edward cranfield over as the governor. This was a disaster for massachusetts by the time that cranfield was in the colony massachusetts expansion. Meant that the colonies had made their way into mason's territory. Massachusetts was not interested in the land itself but felt they had a right to enforce the governance over the colonists in the region the kings ruling however was that mason control the land but hill no rights over the government which meant that masons territory were massachusetts colonists. Had settled was now directly under royal rule with cranfield at its head. No cranfield was not a popular figure anywhere in new england. During his time in new hampshire he clashed with just about everybody there over. pretty much. Everything the new hampshire colonists hated him so much that at one point they ended up violently revolting. Cranfield survived the revolt and sent the ringleader edward g-o-v to england for execution. Before you go and spend too much time. Worrying about mr gov. It should be noted that he will survive this entire ordeal. He will be pardoned and he will eventually returned to new hampshire. Ask for cranfield. He is going to rule new hampshire with an iron fist. The navigation x. Were going to be applied to their fullest extent with absolutely no wiggle room allowed. Liberty of conscience was also not going to be a thing in new hampshire. Cranfield recognized that the anglican church was the official church and he determined. That is what people would practice under his watch.

"Well as yesterday should have been the Kentucky Derby in five years ago D. A. we had Kentucky Derby day on the same day as Mayweather Pacquiao on the same weekend as the NFL draft on the same day as the clippers spurs game seven as well as NHL playoffs in such an economy we still reminisce about that day how is the greatest sports the the year we know when the Kentucky Derby is every year we know the NFL draft at least around this time every year and we know the NBA and NHL playoffs are around this time so why can't we always highlight Kentucky Derby day and that we get is the greatest sports we can of the year make sure the NFL draft is that weekend every year we we know we want any child if he gives a Major League Baseball she parachuted as well make that rivalry weekend give us cubs cardinals gives Yankees red Sox give us Dodgers giants and give us a big UFC or boxing fight the cap for Saturday night at eleven PM eastern or something like that making the big Jule weekend kind of a blast in the summer weekend the first weekend in may just like we enjoyed a five years ago try to reminisce and they get that way every year that's what I once which could there be too much of a good thing could we be overwhelmed too many things are on that weekend I think if this pandemic is taught us anything it's over well bus with sports as much as possible because like that be a celebration of sports in the NFL will be involved with their draft too who cares make it the whole weekend especially Saturday over lotus as much as possible who cares if you lose out of serve ratings of nobody's watching eighties red Sox let people cram and enjoys much support as possible make a celebration of sports every first weekend in may now boxing is in a tough spot because they just don't have enough visual Sharad stood to schedule regularly although that's kind of a problem for them they should have at least two great ballots every single year the people look forward to and this would be great we could do so but you won't see could do it you'll see obviously hasn't events every month the big one and events every single weekend so they could pull that off I guess actually I don't one of them has to be involved but give us that give us a taste of it because it was so glorious five years ago and I'd love that every year how could that have been five years ago twenty fifteen was that day yes amazing isn't it that five years is flown by our reading unbelievable well I've been watching a lot of classic games during pandemic and going back without baseball above there's no baseball right now so I've watched some classic baseball games like the nineteen ninety one game seven World Series game two nineteen eighty five World Series of the one think you've come back to me still lives were awesome they really were I mean no baseball players it's so baggy it looks so sloppy like you're just wearing sweat pants or bell bottoms you know I mean come on it looks so clean I think guys look more athletic than they look faster when they had their tighter pants pulled up in the stirrups you watch Vince Coleman I'll be that guy burns you watch Rickey Henderson that guy birds if I watch the same go the same speed nowadays cities got baggy pants around his ankles it just doesn't look as fast and I want my action of my baseball so I I wish that the I mean it was really bad it peaked with Manny Ramirez were he was wearing pants that were five times too baggy for him like jinko jeans pouring all over his ankles it's not that bad any more but that really was like the height of baggy pants fashion like the late aughts now at least we got a little bit of tightening up going on but let's go even further here baseball let's bring back mandatory surf like you got to show at least three inches a stroke or something like that so at least we can start looking a little cleaner a little bit more need don't you miss the reference I used to log back in the early days a little easier we have startups put all these years later I thought about search recently too I still don't understand the point of the well they're supposed to keep your socks up when you have your pants pulled up I mean so if you think about old school baseball you pull your pants up almost to right below your knee and make sure that your socks don't fall of their own so that you're exposed half then you've got the sort of thing he keep a month but now we have like those dry fit comfort socks we have to worry about that we are the ones from Walmart on the piano no yeah it's not it's it's not so I called on the base what if we just created this terrible line on the side of socks all screen print startups but I I would I would like at least a little bit of socks showing to make it look a little faster more agile okay I can get down with that switching our every every Sunday here on the DA show a five five two one two for CBS on Twitter D. A. on CBS and B. as in Boise Idaho listing on the ticket there Hey what's going on how you doing it was gonna be a not much what's up anyway you go okay well I heard about the the Dalton signing yeah and I'm a believer that there I think Dallas is killing two birds with one stone here okay not only by the oppressed got game a little bit but let's say that shoulder go bombing out on him again we gotta keep the backup quarterback a lot better than the one they got now the bill in the mail on the spot I think it's a win for the cowboys you're right thanks for the the phone call and he I'm not debating that at all I think it's it it's a win for the cowboys I am a proponent of Andy Dalton I think that he's been unfairly labeled as a loser for a long time even though we played in a dysfunctional organization with a stale head coach for a franchise that didn't spend money and he still led them to five straight playoff raise your hand if you would immediately swap that with your current team I know they need a win in the playoff games but unless you're a patriots fan you would absolutely swap the prime baby dolls career with the your team right now just give me a chance to plus five straight years so I think because he's a red head he's kind of boring is little nerdy played for the Bengals ended with those playoff games everybody just thinks he's a loser he's traction is not so I white is still a lot for the cowboys my point today is not to criticize the cowboys at all I think that this is a direct correlation to the dak Prescott negotiations it not only gives them a a insurance a security blanket in case of injury for attack he's never been injured for years the stories played sixteen games every single year I don't think that's their worry right now I think it's insurance against the go she ation as well going haywire that if dad decides to hold out because he wants thirty eight million Bucks they only want to give him thirty three and he says fine I'm I'm not I'm not reported to camp I'm holding out a later appointment I'm not gonna play regular season games now they have a legitimate quarterback they're not super rush I think that's the reason which is what I've been banging the drum on today which I find hysterical that all the reports of the Dallas is one of the cowboys say it's not connected no no no it's not connected at all has nothing to do with that the doctor go she ation cycle Kamal XPS call B. S. on that Darryl is in North Carolina here on CBS sports radio what's up Darryl good afternoon yeah thank you your son and former cowboy you know what I like is the dag truly you know people like to hop on dag three playoff games yeah great too bad you know I mean they cannot leave their house but you play better in this playoff loss against Green Bay Danny did was wearing a Seattle and his defense gave up two hundred seventy seven yards rushing so I'm thinking a little bit of a clutch game your body burns yes I'm here for coach is all clear so great I thank you write it up there now are screens all bombs right you will follow whatever gift card because I don't care about on talent yeah your head arm talent Jay Cutler you have to win games vehicle tracking on it so I think they're not to blame it may you won't gain balustrade a little bit about the family they got a good backup so be it thank you Daryl I think you're right that game against the the Aaron Rodgers led the Packers a couple of years ago the divisional round he was sensational and basically was who's gonna have the football last and ended up being Rogers Mason Crosby hits that unbelievable field goal and the Packers were going the NFC championship game that was his best moment you're right about that you know I think there's there is stuff to like about dax gameplay and his wins and how he's performed the first four years but I do think you got a look back at last year and wonder why was it every time they needed a big performance against a good team he didn't come throw I kind of write off all the losses that they had last year were in critical games for the plants ninety one tool of those games hello one of those games in week sixteen against the eagles they would have hosted a playoff game you know what okay maybe the cowboys were gonna get to the Super Bowl in a season where you know let's face it that the Niners seems front and center like the best team in the NFC all season long but if you had a chance at a home playoff game and you blew it be because every time a good team was on your schedule you loss he had a terrible offensive effort was like the defense was the reason that the cowboys lost all those games so I wonder if that's a pause it would be a pause for me you know I largely like Jack I would put it in the top ten but a largely like Emma but last year was a real eye opener wow you could just gonna get one of these winds and you went over eight in them there it is in Texas here on CBS sports radio what's apparent IDA what's up Hey Marantz what's up man before I get to my must be almost elaborate on his stirrups yes my below the Texas Rangers in cans are warm and I thought it was a great look to it's a great look it makes him look so much faster the base paths did.

A. we had Kentucky Derby day on the same day as Mayweather Pacquiao on the same weekend as the NFL draft on the same day as the clippers spurs game seven as well as NHL playoffs and such an economy we still reminisce about that day how is the greatest sports the the year we know when the Kentucky Derby is every year we know the other field trips at least around this time every year and we know the NBA and NHL playoffs are around this time so why can't always highlight Kentucky Derby day and that we get is the greatest sports we can at the year make sure the NFL draft is that weekend every year we we know we will then be killed if he gives a Major League Baseball should parachuted as well make that rivalry weekend give us cubs cardinals gives Yankees red Sox give us Dodgers giants and give us a big UFC or boxing fight the cap for seven nights at eleven PM eastern or something like that making the big Jule weekend kind of a blasted the summer weekend the first weekend in may just like we enjoyed a five years ago try to reminisce and they get that way every year that's what I once which could there be too much of a good thing could we be overwhelmed the too many things are on that weekend I think if this pandemic has taught us anything it's over well bus with sports as much as possible you can let that be a celebration of sports in the NFL will be involved with their draft too who cares make it the whole weekend especially Saturday over lotus as much as possible who cares if you lose out of serve ratings of nobody's watching eighties red Sox let people cram and enjoys much support as possible make it a celebration of sports every first weekend in may now boxing is in a tough spot because they just don't have enough jewels Sharad stood to schedule regularly although that's kind of a problem for them they should have at least two great ballots every single year the people look forward to and this would be great we could do so but you won't see could do it you'll see obviously hasn't events every month the big one and events every single weekend so they could pull that off I guess actually I don't one of them has to be involved but give us that give us a taste of it because it was so glorious five years ago and I love that every year how could that have been five years ago twenty fifteen was that day yes amazing isn't it that five years is flown by already unbelievable well I've been watching a lot of classic games during pandemic and going back without baseball above there's no baseball right now so I've watched some classic baseball games like the nineteen ninety one game seven World Series game two nineteen eighty five World Series of the one think you've come back to me stirrups were awesome they really were I mean no baseball players it's so baggy it looks so sloppy like you're just wearing sweat pants or bell bottoms and you know I mean come on it looks so clean I think guys look more athletic than they look faster when they had their tighter pants pulled up in the stirrups you watch Vince Coleman I'll be that guy burns you watch Rickey Henderson that guy birds if I watch the same go the same speed nowadays it he's got baggy pants around his ankles it just doesn't look as fast and I want my actually my baseball so I I wish that the I mean it was really bad it peaked with Manny Ramirez were he was wearing pants that were five times too baggy for him like jinko jeans pouring all over his ankles it's not that bad any more but that really was like the height of baggy pants fashion like the late offs now at least we got a little bit of tightening up going on but let's go even further here baseball let's bring back mandatory sort of like you got to show at least three inches a stroke or something like that so that leaves we can start looking a little cleaner little more need don't you wish to reference I used to log back in the early days a little easier we have startups but all these years later I thought about search recently too I still don't understand the point of well they're supposed to keep your socks up when you have your pants pulled up I mean so if you think about old school baseball you pull your pants up almost to right below your knee and make sure that your socks don't fall of their own so that you're exposed half then you've got the script he keep them up but now we have like those dry fit comfort socks we have to worry about that when they're the ones from Walmart on the piano no yeah it's not it's it's not so I called on the base what if what if we just did this terrible line on the side of socks okay with that all screen print stirrups but I I would I would like at least a little bit a sock showing to make it look a little faster more agile okay I can get down with that switching our every at every Sunday here on the DA show eight five five two one two for CBS on Twitter D. A. on CBS and B. as in Boise Idaho listening on the ticket there any what's going on how you doing Hey what's going on today not much what's up eighty weeks ago I'm here okay well I heard about the the Dalton signing yeah and I'm a believer that there I think Dallas is killing two birds with one stone here okay not only by the press got game a little bit but let's say that shoulder go bombing out on him again we gotta keep the backup quarterback a lot better than the one they got now the building up there on the spot I think it's a win for the cowboys you're right thanks for the the phone call and he I am not debating that at all I think it's it it's a win for the cowboys I am a proponent of adult and I think that he's been unfairly labeled as a loser for a long time even though we played in a dysfunctional organization with a stale head coach for a franchise that didn't spend money and he still led them to five straight playoff raise your hand if you would immediately swap that with your current team I know they need a win in to those playoff games but unless you're a patriots fan you would absolutely swap the prime baby dolls career with the your team right now just give me a chance to play with five straight years so I think because he's a red head he's kind of boring is little nerdy played for the Bengals heated with those playoff games everybody just thinks he's a loser he's traction is not so I white is still a lot for the cowboys my point today is not to criticize the cowboys at all I think that this is a direct correlation to the dak Prescott negotiations it not only gives them a a insurance a security blanket in case of injury for tack he's never been injured for years the starters played sixteen games every single year I don't think that's their worry right now I think it's insurance against the go she ation as well going haywire that if Jack decides to hold out because he wants thirty eight million Bucks they only want to give up thirty three and he says fine I'm I'm not I'm not reported to camp I'm holding out I'm gonna try to pull an avid I'm not gonna play regular season games now they have a legitimate quarterback they're not super rush I think that's the reason which is what I've been banging the drum on today which I find hysterical that all the reports and analysis I know the cowboys states not connected no no no it's not connected at all has nothing to do with it the deck to go she ation cycle come on XPS uncle B. S. on that Darryl is in North Carolina here on CBS sports radio what's up Darryl good afternoon yeah thank you your sign in so much trouble and you know what I like is the dag Truman you know people like to hop on back three playoff games yeah great too bad you know I mean they cannot leave that out what are you play better in this playoff loss against Green Bay Danny did was very close to Adam and his defense gave up two hundred seventy seven yards rushing so I think you have a little bit of a clutch game your body burns yes I'm here for coaches career are great I thank you right up there now are screens all balls right you wish for Kerr all whatever just because I don't care about on challenge yeah your head on talent Jay Cutler you got to win games on it so I think they're not to blame it may work in Dallas a little bit but they're not the Pam and I gotta go back up so be it thank you Daryl I think you're right that game against the the Aaron Rodgers leads Packers a couple of years ago the divisional round he was sensational and basically was who's gonna have the football last and ended up being Rogers Mason Crosby hits the unbelievable field goal and the Packers were going the NFC championship game that was his best moment you're right about that you know I I think there's there is stuff to like about dax gameplay and his wins and how he's performed the first four years but I do think you got a look back at last year and wonder why was it every time they needed a big performance against a good team he didn't come throw I kind of write off all the losses that they had last year were in critical games toward the plants and heavy one tool of those games hello one of those games in week sixteen against the eagles they would have hosted a playoff game you know what okay maybe the cowboys were gonna get to the Super Bowl in a season where you know let's face it that the Niners seems front and center like the best team in the NFC all season long but you had a chance at a home playoff game and you blew it be because every time a good team was on your schedule you loss he had a terrible offensive effort was like the defense was the reason that the cowboys lost all those games so I wonder if that's a pause it would be a pause for me you know I largely like dak I would put it in the top ten but a largely like Emma but last year was a real eye opener wow you got just got to get one of these winds and you went over eight in them Erin is in Texas here on CBS sports radio what's apparent A. D. A. what's up Hey Marantz what's up man before I get to my my Spielman elaborate on his stirrups yes my below the Texas Rangers in cans are warm and I thought it was a great look to it's a great look it makes him look so much faster the base paths sure did so let me get to that real quick and I'll hang up and listen so if you would be a go ahead and beat me up that is that is that baby which got all right so if you don't think one second this what then I'll just reiterate what I told your dynamic young producers.

"Just we're going to keep these guys in the US. We're going to keep them in North America so that. For whatever reason but the I here's I think that plays a role and I think that. The fact that the one in done negotiations have not gone like super well, right? At makes sense also plays a role because here's an olive branch. Will, yeah I think it's like an olive branch to these kids that want to be able to turn pro, but more than that. I think it's us. Look at the mechanics of WHO's involved in negotiating the end of the one and done. The NBA doesn't want the end of the one in done, because it's easier for them to evaluate younger players in highly competitive atmospheres in college, and it makes more sense for that world to continue right. You're not making you're less likely to make poor investments such as like in duty, maybe going in the first round to Minnesota then you are. If they go to college, maybe get exposed. They would love it if they could get two or three, but that's just not reasonable, but on the coming from. On the players side so like the NBA is argue for it. The players aren't going to argue for it, either. I don't think because at the end of the day. The people who run the players association typically are veteran players. Who are either stars such as Chris Paul Kyrie Irvings a vice-president now. You know we can name a bunch of or their veterans like Roger Mason used to be right. and. These guys don't want to have six or seven of their veteran contracts. Handed out instead to. Eighteen and nineteen year olds. Because that's just not a valuable allocation for them of guys who have deserved the right to get paid to play basketball have earned the right to get paid to play basketball, so nobody on that sides arguing for it. Nobody on the NBA side is arguing for it so. I think we're kind of at an impasse, unless the MVP is just like look, it's the right thing to do. We're willing to do it right. which it very well might, it might They might woke themselves out of some shops. Sure but like I'm skeptical of that so like. Maybe this is just like the olive branch. Like here's the thing to like I kind mentioned the. NBA teams like this college route because it gives them an opportunity to evaluate players, and thus makes it less likely for them to make mistakes on players. I mean. It doesn't it doesn't cost the NBA anything which is the operative? Thank the NFL's never. A college football will continue to exist in this country. Because the NFL loves college football so much. It has to maybe subsidize it down the Line Belleville considerate, but a bunch of boosters in Birmingham Alabama paying for a minor league football. It is the best thing that ever happened and I think the same can be applied to to the NBA on a smaller scale. And like I've talked to a lot of NBA personnel at this stage. And Very few of them don't think that this is going to make their life. New G. Leak Process the new initiative in the reason that they say that is A. They have a way that they go about getting. Intel on these prospects already in this totally upends that, so they're gonNA. have to create new networks terms of how they gather information on this..

"Because I was either twenty six or twenty four strikeouts short of two thousand and when I announced my retirement spring of oh six after the first WBC immediately one of my brothers called and said what are you doing you have twenty five more twenty six twenty six more seconds for two thousand like who cares about two thousand like it's three thousand all you got to al Leiter's career batting average yeah who wants to gas my guess at the end of nineteen seasons six hundred thirteen plate appearances go see qualified for the batting title. I'm gonna go one ninety three cut that in half eight five point oh eight five one of the worst hitters that ever played played instead amazing guys box and Dan I'd love to I'd love to get in there knowing I stunk and tried it yours loaded to yet no I was just I was struck out yeah did you ever do anything great how may strike us at two hundred ninety all right so half the time I didn't strike out is very good. I think it's a third of the time you struck out. six hundred a band stilted so I got I got about forty five percent the time he. yeah did you ever get a hit off anybody good. yeah my first at bat. after that so they're in the minor leagues in America like you you didn't they didn't do an early so now if you go in and actually ball park they they hit yeah right so the first time I hit was ten years after high school in game four of the nineteen ninety three World Series the first pitch I sees from Roger Mason at the vet I'm with the blue jays and I whack a double to left field. I I stand up in a second John Kruk who's who's playing first see trailers the play and cranky you guys know cracking well my god. I'm like I know correctly and I don't know if he was really having a great series at that time I know I had to bet in ten years my god this is it should be this way so fast forward that's ninety three ninety four ninety five blue jays ninety six my first start which is my next at bat. first pitch I see from John Eric second game of the year after Kevin brown through opening day I had a base of the mail and from that point on did you ask for the ball I have your first two no I couldn't do that okay that was that fifteen fourteen when that we hello yeah we're in Philly rain terapia is long that was crazy yeah if I remember I still don't know where Joe Carter's home run landed. it landed in the in the bullpen yeah I I was down the left field line with Peter Gammons and and all of a sudden and Gammons I think said or Dave Campbell you know I would be surprised if Joe Carter hit a home run here and all of a sudden. yes and then we looked down and I was like I don't know where that landed I just know that Joe kept run around the bases and I went oh my god you know what I did then do we know Joe got the ball yes because I went to Joe's house in the offseason. and I I went to Mitch Williams ranch to talk to him and then I went to Joe Carter's house in Kansas city so I did a piece on both of those guys on what is it like in the off season if you gave up a home run to to lose the World Series and you hit a home run to win a World Series it was in a drawer in his kitchen because I go where where where's the ball Jo and Joe goes it's in the kitchen door I go yeah right now where is it. open the door and he had it like a sharpie written on it like the home run ball it what it wasn't you know put up in a in a you know I gotta believe Joe I would like to know where that where he's got to have that to be displayed anywhere because the late Tom cheats you touch him all Joe you'll never hit a bigger home run which I thought was amazing call a cool that's that's that's a hundred percent sure how may walk off home loans yeah very very rare World Series yeah but it was in the kitchen drawer and pulled it goes go gold open the door and I went OK and rolled out to go right that's it. can you stay I wanna DO one ask you about some of the match ups yes right and the pressure that the Dodgers are under this year do they ever more pressure than anybody else say but that's a tease out that's what you do Colin please in this business we'll continue without lighter the Major League Baseball network analyst and back after this in the Dan Patrick show..

"Five and a third. That's all they want out of you. Jeff's Amodu got off to obviously the roughest start. You could ever get off to a single that should have been caught polar should have caught that ball. Absolutely. I'm very glad twain pointed that out on the post game show, then three home runs in a row, boom, boom, boom for nothing. But then he settled down and he gave you five innings and he kept the team in the game. And in in with the base. Baseball today with the home run ball. You can get back in the game. If you shut it down after the first any again, if you're gonna go down for nothing do it in the first inning not in the sixth inning. So I think he becomes a valuable piece of an asset for the giants. Because teams need a pitcher like him. Now, what do they need? Well, you need a starter. Wade Miley prove that for the brewers last year. There's no question there are a number of teams that need some starting pitching. And if you can get five innings out of some margin, then turn it over to the bullpen you became. So you become someone who can help a good team. And that's the key word. Good team. Two words. Good team. That's what you have to have. Because then he can help a good team by giving you those five innings the other thing he can do which is happening in baseball today. We see what the giants all the time the relief staff it's going to innings three innings. One pitcher is going to innings. He can do that. Out of the pen. And that's the way he broke into the major leagues. Mike quasi. Our good friend had some margin in with the cubs. When Mike was a manager and Somare. Chad is best year coming out of the bullpen late in the game to go to innings for three innings. So that that Golden Gate Bridge as we used to call Instagram in the in the playoffs to the the core guys. So I think today's game for the March is important to show the world. Yeah. I got lit up. It was in Cincinnati. Maybe it's the mound. Now a finesse pitcher because I'm a finesse pitcher sometimes takes a guy a little longer to feel it and he didn't feel it right away. And even though Posey said they weren't terrible pitches. They were up. They didn't have any snap to him, and they kinda hung and everybody just just walloped him. So I think tomorrow actually become someone that maybe someone would be interested in for the giants to deal when we get to July. Thirty first. So this start for him important. His next start will be what's today Sunday. So be when they come home against incident, Atty. Rodriguez going to pitch on Thursday. So he follows Rodriguez so to be Friday against today. Maybe even be be this matchup again with Castilla at oracle park. So I think Fisher March of important game for him today. It's part of April and may figuring out who you are. And for him. He is a work in progress. Every time he goes out there, but he's trending. I think in the right direction. And I think that's something we take away from from some marja today. Let's go to Peter in San Francisco. Peter kmby are nice to have you on the show. Oh, how you doing Marty? Good. Since nineteen sixty five that also drill a cabinet. Thirty years. Build the dimensions of the midwestern ballparks, but the weather is going to change everything. When you agree. Yeah. And that's part of it because it's not very far to get it out and right field. It just the ball. Just doesn't travel that way as McCovey cove, Dave as out there in the kayak every night, and you know, how many? Park in Mike in the middle of July when it's fifty degrees. The wind is blowing and all hot tub rappers you're against the tents and stuff like that. Well, let me tell you. It's Sunday Michael gains. And I we know though, Sunday doubleheaders with max Leone pitching for the Braves and the hotdog rappers would here on the left field line at about four o'clock in the afternoon. Yes, we've been there. Many many times. Yeah. Well, I think that that you can you can build those those dimensions. I just don't think it'll work because of the weather. All right. All right. Let me ask you this. Do you like watching a game with the giants are on the road versus the homeland? I you know, when I. Cheat in ticket for the forty Niners. And I used to go to win Jillian day games. And I always like when the team was on the road because they seem to. It was it was more. Even you know, even thing because they couldn't you know, the homers were hard to hard to hard to get. All right. All right. I appreciate it. Thanks, peter. Bye. Bye. Very good. Let's go to Nancy in San Francisco. Nancy Camby are go ahead. Today's game after they gave up three home runs. His note on the bottom saying the last time this happened was in nineteen eighty seven the thirteenth of April off of Roger Mason. And I was at that game. I believe it was the home opener for Cincinnati for San Diego. And I also thought I remembered that we had won that game. So after the game today, I looked it up on baseball reference. And sure enough we won thirteen to six. Now, what's not such a close game? We'd actually scored two runs in the top of the first before giving up the three which were to marville win, Tony Gwynn and John crock. So anyway, that was kind of exciting for me to remember that. Very good. Very good. You know, I do a greatest game in giants history. Every Sunday Chris half than I will have to put that one on our list. I remember Roger Mason, very well. Big tall guy. Yeah. Three homers in the first and the giants come back and win it. All right. We're going to look at that. Now that was the home opener for San Diego. I I it doesn't say anything on baseball reference. But there were forty eight thousand eight hundred or eight hundred six hundred some people there. So I think that was the home opener, and that's my memory to Virgo. Hey, nancy. Thank you for that memory. Very good. Very good. Let's go to the wizard in San Jose wizard. Nice to have you on the show. How are you? Good. Very good. About three points. First of all, I absolutely love the show. I look forward to it every weekend. So thank you guys. Very very much. What you do we appreciated Raffin? I put put in a number of hours here. And I'll tell you Josh is part of the family. Josh really helps us quite a bit as well. So we enjoy working with each other. And we enjoy doing this for you guys. Thank you number two regarding the park. I completely concur. With your survey that it'd be nice to have a park light. Great American ballpark. That is exciting. I really really enjoy that you go to Wrigley field. It's like that. It's like that. I think would be really cool if we could do something like that in fan Francisco. We've got such a great part. But if we could make it more, exciting and have more home runs. That'd be super McCovey cove. Dave said we are heard in trying to bring in free agent power raiders. They would not come here because of that. So I think that's something that you know, the giants fan really needs to take into consideration. And I would love to reconsider the park. All right. Yeah. I'm not sure how they could do it. But the the argument is made. And as I say, they listen to the show, and they listen to the fan base because you guys are the ones who pay the money, and they want to make an entertaining products. They'll go ahead. Okay. Michael Moore says back, and I think you probably know over the years, I have slowly loved the energy that that guy brings really pleased that they brought him back. I'd love to have not on the patio. And I think there's another thing that the giants do really really, well, they bring back the old guys. In the past. And that really is very important from a generational perspective. You know, I'm teaching my daughter about baseball. She loves baseball. And when you bring in the older guys, it's reconnecting with the new people. So just wanted to say that in Klein Lee one other point how can you bring more people to part when attendance is off through the fact that they're not playing. Well, I I'm a diehard giants fan. But last year, I went to see a couple of games, and it is a lot cheaper over there. And you know, the bottom line is I wanted to game last weekend. I've seen eleven fifty per slice of pizza. I bought my daughter or something I don't know what it was. I make good money. I think that's difficult for most people trying to do something about that. I think that would be successful. And I just wanted to wrap about that. Well, that's a good one. And we we dealt with it on our podcast the mid inning relief that we do each week. And that some of the things that came up, my dear friend, Patrick sent me a text today echoing a little bit of what you just said. So while the team, and again, it's hard to say what they're going to do this year. How it's going to end up. It's it's just the begin the infancy of the twenty nine thousand nine season. The team is fifteen in nineteen. They've still got good core players. They've got a bullpen. Who knows where this thing is going, and I say that honestly, you don't know where it's going to go. So maybe you can't do it an full-scale basis, but as the season progresses each time, there's a home series. Maybe there could be special items that sort of our go on sale so to speak. As like. Levi. Good deal. I like that. And it shows that they're sensitive to that. That means something to the fans, you know, that I really do. So that would be one one point that I would make okay, very good it. That's it opens up that conversation. And I'd like to get suggestions on it. Hey, thank you. Have a good afternoon. All right. Let's go to Kobe in Santa Rosa. Kobe eight eight can be our go ahead. Laurie. How are you today? Great, very good. It's been a nice weekend. And you know, it was one of those games today that Raffin are looking at each other. And it's four nothing, and I'm saying no hitter and Doug got height and all of a sudden vote gone on base. And you realize you say to yourself you're in that ballpark. All you gotta do is run into one. It's the Archer game again against Pittsburgh, just run into one. And all of a sudden you're back in it and it happened. So it was this was a baseball game today. This is what's going on all over baseball. And we just got a taste of it today in baseball. There's always hope it's always down the road. Sometimes they happen for you. Sometimes it does it, you know, I been listening that the giants on the radio since Mike ID was catching first base. So I I really appreciate to show you doing a great service for a baseball fish now cross the land. I think to ask you more. Ardi about elected comment on the the ballpark and the dimension. Okay. With the wizards that we should pull the pull the pets in a little bit..
