"The Seahawks kicking off in about 15 minutes for the league's first ever regular season game in Germany Roger Goodell told a fan form in Munich that the NFL will stage at least four games in Germany through 2025. It's open season for gambling now in sports in today's match between the bears and the lines as a unique wager lines wide receiver Amon ra saint Brown and his brother bears wide receiver equanimous have a $1000 ban on whose team will win the most games this year currently the bears have one more win than the lions. One thing that seems like it could be coming more of a sure bet is bears quarterback Justin Fields solidifying that he belongs. The bear's offense has averaged 31 points the last three games, but one theme all sees a long offense coordinator Luke gets he is not getting ahead of himself. Something that just has always resonated with me that Mike McCarthy used to say to us all the time is this that it's way harder to handle the success than it is to handle adversity. And when you have what appears to be other people thinking you have success, so then now people are telling you they love your patchy on the back, remaining humble and staying focused on your job and making sure you stay true to what you believe and what your philosophies are the way you want to play. The kind of man you want to be and the kind of football team you want to be. And so we have to remain to that and stay focused on our purpose. And I think the guys have done a good job at this point. Sounds like a good approach to me. The bears have activated water receiver Byron Pringle from the injured reserve to the 53 man roster. Has been ruled out for today's game with an ankle injury quickly with the NHL. The Blackhawks beat the ducks last night in Anaheim, three to two. Bears have won 7 of the last 8 meetings against the Lions, they'll meet up again today or coverage begins at 9 a.m. with sports on the home of the bears, judson Richards, one of 5 9 WBBL. "Sources are telling us and we talked to more than 30 sources, owners, league office sources, teams sources who have told us that cider tells people that he has enough information to blow up other and that's a quote blow up other NFL owners and commissioner Roger Goodell. I want to make clear he may be bluffing. This is what he is saying. And this is what other owners believe he has. So the question is, is belief more important than reality? And how much impact does that have when the owners come together and vote about what they want to do with the future of this team? Because the power resides with the owners. It takes a vote of 24 out of 32 owners to make any major decisions like ownership. So one of the quotes that we're talking about concerning Dan Snyder is him saying the NFL owners all hate each other and then a source told you no, they all hate Dan Snyder. So from your reporting are the votes there to I'll stand Snyder's owner of the team? I think that's the $1 million question. I'm getting asked a lot of questions today about, well, so what's going to happen at the next ownership meeting, which is on Tuesday. I think it is a very dynamic situation right now. We know that other owners are angry about the idea that he could be using private investigators to collect information on them. Our reporting has that. But these meetings are important because these are where the decisions are ultimately made. Tisha, Snyder could make millions and millions, billions of dollars. Billions. If he sells the team. So why does he hold on and endure all of this abuse and all of the investigations? Well, we have reporting from sources who know that he considers this team to be his identity. That this is what he bases his professional life around. And he has told many people that he will never sell this team. Is there something else you haven't told people that you want to tell us to? If there is, I will definitely be reporting on it, but I will tell you, there's some big events coming. There's this owner owners meeting coming up on Tuesday. And then of course, I'm expecting at some point for Congress to the congressional oversight committee to put out a report. The woman who's been chairing that investigation lost her primary and so she'll be leaving office in January. I would anticipate that we'll see some kind of report come

"Good afternoon, I'm Gigi Barnett. And I'm more glue us with the top local stories we're following this hour. The owner of the Washington commander is reportedly claiming that he has dirt on other NFL owners and on NFL commissioner Roger Goodell. ESPN says its sources indicate the Dan Snyder recently told the close associate that he has gathered enough secrets to quote blow up several NFL owners. The league office and commissioner Goodell. In a statement provided a WTO, the team is calling the ESPN report simply ridiculous and utterly false. Snyder is facing multiple investigations but has told associates that he will not lose the team without a fight. ESPN reports that Snyder has recently told an associate that the NFL is a mafia and the owners, hate each other. But the network says it was told by a longtime team owner, that's not true. All the owners hate Dan. ESPN says it's been told by many owners and top league executives that they'd like to see Snyder removed as the owner of the Washington commanders. Chris Christie Talks Deshaun Watson

"Now I want to turn over to a different sports topic, deshaun Watson. I'm asking you this because you were a prosecutor. And you might have been in front of judge Sue Robinson. She was in Delaware. I don't know if you know Sue Robinson or not. Okay. She hands down a decision 6 game suspension. I'm not taking an opinion on this until everything is done. But first of all, she talked about nonviolent sexual assault. You ever heard of such a thing? No. Okay, so Roger Goodell triggers the appeal process, which puts him in the absolute no win situation of either upsetting black athletes who believe that white owners get off or upsetting women for not taking seriously allegations of four cases of nonviolent sexual assault, but there was no prosecutorial process for deshaun Watson. I'm really conflicted about this whole thing. What do you think about it? What I think about it is that Roger Goodell has used, as you said, is put himself by appealing this. Now in an impossible position. Because quite frankly, I think the suspension and fine and penalties you just gave the Miami Dolphins are laughable. When you read that, in fact, the owner of the dolphins did say in front of a number of people that would be better off losing games than we would be winning games that people testify these said that to the coach. Now they're saying, well, he didn't really mean it. I mean, and he suspended some mid October. Now, are you going to affect the integrity of the game in a significant way? And if he's going to give now to Sean Watson, a much starter suspension, which you have to believe that that's what's now going to happen. Then if I were the black athlete, I would say that there are two different standards. One for the people who play the game and work for the people who profit from the game. And I think it's a real concern. I think that I didn't quite understand her, as I said to you, her characterization of nonviolent sexual assault. But in the end, too, there's got to be some sense of equity. And that's why I think the NFL should not have appealed. They're going to put this person in a position to make these judgments. Sometimes you're going to agree sometimes you're going to disagree, but by appealing roger Gonzalez now put his own judgment regarding Steve Ross into the crosshairs as well.

Meantime, we've got more details on sex assault allegations made against Snyder, and they come from a 2009 legal correspondence. A woman who worked for the team said owner Dan Snyder groped her and attempted to remove her clothing in a private partitioned area in the rear of a team plane. The Washington Post reports the details are in a letter from an attorney representing the team to the lawyer representing the woman in 2009. The post says that Snyder denied the allegations, but the team agreed to pay her a $1.6 million settlement 13 years ago at the request of an insurance company. Particularly on WTO P news. Students who hate standardized tests could get a pass from all university of Maryland schools, entrance exams like the SAT are now optional. Board of regents decided that the 12 schools that make up the university system of Maryland could set their own admissions standards and dropped SATs and ACTs as requirements for admission. Joanne bauman with the university system says there's another reliable tool for admissions, the GPA in high school and or in community college is one of the best predictors for our student success. The board's decision leaves the door open for individual schools like the university of Maryland to bruis state, for example, to have a test optional policy or require the standardized tests. A newly obtained document shows that a woman accused Washington commander's owner, Dan Snyder, of sexually harassing and assaulting her on a team plane in 2009, and that the woman was later paid $1.6 million by the team to settle the claims The details came in a letter written by an attorney working for the team, which was obtained by The Washington Post, the letter also argued that the woman's claims were not credible. NFL Releases Cleveland Browns Schedule for 2022 Season

"I got the brown schedule last night. The browns NFL released the schedule. And there it is, we open away and we close away. Honestly, the NFL hates the browns. They've always hated the browns. I don't know why they hate Cleveland, but Roger Goodell, you know, he walked in and said, whatever we do in the schedule, the browns are gonna open away and close away. And we close at Pittsburgh. Even though they're lousy in a crummy team, we do open away in Carolina. And if we can't beat Carolina, it's gonna be a long season, but deshaun Watson probably going to be suspended. I don't know. But as a browns fan as a northeastern Ohio native is a true blue son of the land that schedules okay. But I have to complain because I am a true blue senator

"It's a really frustrating, awful reality, but the fact of the matter is whining and complaining that Roger Goodell is not going to release these documents is sort of a moot point at this point. Roger Goodell has been operating this way for the majority of his time as commissioner. We know who he is. We know how he works. We know that this system of judge jury and executioner is how they operate. This is nothing new. We know that the commissioner is rewarded off of TV deals and the income of the league. And it's why that ESPN just released a report that he has made a hundred and 65. I think a $165 million in the last two years. Roger Goodell himself. You can't ask somebody who is benefiting to such an insane financial degree. Somebody who is benefiting so immensely from a constantly growing.

Jon Gruden Resigns as Raiders Coach Over Decade-Old Offensive Emails

"John Gruden has always been kind of a wild child in the NFL always been a little bit of a loose cannon, if you will. And I believe he was also he was also the coach of the Oakland Raiders in like the 90s. And then he went to the Buccaneers and led them to the Super Bowl very complicated. But then he rejoined the Raiders in 2018 after he was an analyst on Monday Night Football. Do you remember those things he used to sit down with the quarterbacks? And it was like Gruden's corner. I've never been a big fan of Jon Gruden. I'll be very honest. One in 2002, that's right, my memory's not too bad. I'm not going to be an apologist for Jon Gruden. Okay? I'm sure he lives a complicated life like most people in the NFL. But this recent saga involving in his resignation slash termination is disgusting. And the national Football Association is in many different ways. In enterprise that is built on a House of Cards. The entire structure of how many of the teams are filed as nonprofits on how almost every stadium is built thanks to taxpayer dollars. There's a lot of corruption that exists in the national football, the National Football League. And so it came out a couple days ago that John Gruden is going to be fired, or it has to speak out for his racist and homophobic emails over ten years ago. And I shrugged my shoulders and I actually didn't know where this one was going to go. Because John Gruden signed a ten year 100 million dollar deal with the Oakland Raiders. And now so he technically resigned whatever he says, I have resigned as the head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders. I love the Raiders and do not want to be distraction. Thank you to all the players coaches and staff and fan fans of raider nation. I'm sorry I never meant to hurt anyone, John Gruden. And so it was revealed in some of these emails. And based from what I've said, seen should have said something's probably not no, was he joking around in private in a context that none of us can understand? Yes. He incited Joe Biden, insulted Joe Biden I can't even say what he called Joe Biden on air. It's kind of hilarious. Called Roger Goodell, a certain name. I'm no fan of Roger Goodell. So if this whole thing is like a Roger Goodell, apology tour, but here's what really matters. Here's the question. In the National Football League, do they ever allow people to do bad things and continue to participate? Like murder. How about rate Ray Lewis and his legacy of the unsolved double murder? Or how about you remember this one? You remember ray rice, who literally punched his fiance in an elevator? It was an elevator, right? Which gained total notoriety following the indictment he was released by the ravens and suspended, and now rice would be reinstated after he successfully appealed the league's decision. And this whole thing with John Gruden is this question of should you be judged by things you have said in private ten years ago to destroy your current

"Are finally going to mention what was the biggest sports story on Planet Earth this weekend. It was not anything that happened at the Olympics, and it was not anything that happened in Canton, Ohio, and it was not anything that happened on a baseball diamond near or far from you. It was and I will give new no 30 seconds to explain to everyone who doesn't already know why it's such a big deal. It was Leon l messy the greatest soccer player in the world and his tearful divorce from Barcelona, where he has made himself a legend. And I will admit new. No, I need the education on this. Tell everybody why this happened and why it is the biggest sports story on planet Earth. The simplest thing is Barcelona's finances are so messed up, um, that they can't afford them afford. Afford him. The league wouldn't allow them to sign Messi back even at a 50% discount. Um and I've tried to equate what it would truly be. It would kind of be like with Brady leaving, um, the Patriots. But if Roger Goodell said, Hey, he's not allowed to come back. That's the thing like Sometimes I read about things that happened in international soccer and European soccer in particular, and I am the first to admit, I don't know almost anything about it. I didn't grow up following it. I know enough about it to cover it for television, which I've done for years, but I don't know the ins and outs. And every now and again, things like this happened and I find myself thinking. How do they deal with this? Like what kind of system is this? Inside The Russell Wilson-Seahawks Rift

"Years russell. Wilson has been wanting to throw the ball more and at the start of this year. It finally happened russell. Wilson was not good in the first half of the twenty twenty season. He was excellent deep cap touchdown. Seattle you run down there and set in his answer. Any better than that was fourth in yards per attempt. Weeks one through nine i. In passing. touchdown percentage was second in passer rating. Wilson keeps as default talk. He was legit. The best player in the league madden gave him a ninety nine overall rating during the season because he was cooking notion as he throws an accident. Edi feeds defensive player of the years like russell. Lula's legitimately the best guy in football games of the season then week nine arrived and they had this game against the buffalo bills that you recently wrote about. Can you tell us what happened in that game. And afterwards what happened is russell had to cook in the kitchen. Just kind of just caught on. Fire his paycheck wine with a sack at a takeaway from russell wilson. I actually watched that game with a former cr defensive and cliff april and teased talking me through it. And he's like russ's off he's trying to do too much and i think turned it over like four times. He threw a pick on the goal. Line throws for the jordan with tyco. I think that really turned the tables for the whole team. After that loss where they gave up forty four points and turned it over a bazillion times and got embarrassed in buffalo. Well what i would tell you that. I don't recognize that game. We haven't seen the look like that and it's a game that i don't have any place in my brain for. He told us he didn't even have any space in his brain for that game. That's very important subjects right like the fact that he considered that not seahawks. Football was influential the rest of the year. Well the following week against the rams things. I guess only got worse. Wilson throws and the other one four darius williams second game. I know that there are better days ahead. I'll use a baseball now but sometimes you go up to the plate you know and you don't have your way today mike. You and our colleagues. Mike sando jason jank's wrote about a meeting. That happened shortly after that loss to the rams can you take us inside that meeting room and just explain what went down russia's meeting with the coaches normal game planning type of meeting and he has suggestions he is giving input usually does and his suggestions just weren't dismissed. There were dismissed in a way that russell didn't feel appreciate it. And i think that is really important. I'm sure they disagree in every meeting ever but in this particular instance rust belt that he was not being appreciated so rushed stormed out was basically this idea that. How dare anyone in this building. Be dismissive of my ideas. I am of the quarterback was almost like kevin durant warriors when he was like no way up. I'm kevin durant russell wilson and he rustled perceives him to be someone who has succeeded. In spite of what's been around him not because of running for his life making the pro bowl with battle lines perceive that to be like the story of his career. And you get to week eleven. And it's like do. Just chill out. We got this no. You don't don't get it. I got it and that forced him out the door. Russell in the second half of the season was which is not himself like he was twenty eighth in yards per attempt in his final eight games he was sixteenth. In a touchdown percentage nineteenth in passer rating. These are bad numbers. These are not just like below average twenty nine yards per attempt man that was lower than the cincinnati bengals. Even when the circumstances are bad around russell he's been good enough to elevate situation still played inefficient level and twenty twenty was the first time it was like. Wow he's not able to elevate the lack of talent or execution of preparation around him and it produced like some of the worst numbers of his career certainly produced the worst playoff game of his career against the rams in the wild round sitting meeting big. Who's going into other sack four sacks two takeaways the interception return for the touchdown and floyd now all right. Let's fast forward a few weeks to the super bowl. The seahawks have been knocked out by the rams in the wildcard round and russell. Wilson is at super bowl. Fifty five in tampa bay sitting with none other than commissioner. Roger goodell mike. Tell us what you found in your reporting about russell. Wilson's experience at the super bowl. You know it's really interesting. Because i tweeted during the super bowl. That antonio brown caught a touchdown from tom brady in front of russell. Wilson there is the pass for the touchdown. What drive a super bowl. Winning drive that brady's only done throughout his whole career. I kind of just said it like star cast the as a joke. Not really thinking about how russell fell and then as our reporting i was like okay so i i was right like he is really upset. And it's so many factors. There is the fact that tom brady is in. The super bowl is the fact tom. Brady's they're playing pine. A good line is the fact that tom brady is playing in a system. That gives him some atonomy like got to pick players gronk. Antonio brown is the fact that mahomes is there again laying for again in a system that like essentially like his talents. The last time also played in the super bowl loss of tom brady seven years later prime many years. Tom brady's back. I suppose in a soup. Kitchen fuming so during the superbowl. He's texting his quarterback coach. And just close. Friend jake heaps. He's a local radio guy. Here jake to set it on the radio. He's talking about how russ was missed during the game texting him. They'll look the he had was in reflective of the text messages. I was receiving russell wilson. Just ultimately the overall sentiment was that he was mad that he was not lying in this thing and then russell spoke to the shortly after the game show. What's up with our line. You see that. Winning requires a good line and the gist of peace response. As far as i was told is about faith. And just you know we got this. And that just wasn't good enough for us

"Whoever network it is you're going Can we? Can we actually use that word? Or if to say the big game? Can we say Super Bowl? I say the Super Bowl. If they want to sue me, they could. If if if Roger Goodell wants to sue me, this will be the most viewed Super Bowl ever and they'll probably be over a billion dollars Bet because there's now there's 20 States that have legalized sports betting on this Super Bowl. So, Brian, I know I'm gonna ask you for an early prediction, and I'm gonna give mine. Um the line opened up at minus three. We're not really having you on to talk about gambling. But I believe that and then we'll get to some local stuff. But I believe that the Chiefs are gonna win another one. If Tom Brady does, I would be a little surprised not because I don't think they're capable Just think the Chiefs are just that good that the two questions in my mind is. Can the Buccaneers defense stopped the Chiefs or at least hold them to a few field goals when they're in the red zone? And can Tom Brady's offense keep up with the chief's offense? I just think it's one of those games where if the Buccaneers we're gonna win? They cannot make any mistakes. They can't turn the ball over once, and when they're in the red zone, they're gonna absolutely every time they're in their red zone. They're gonna have to put up seven points can't get field goals are not gonna win this football game. The over under is lingering around 57. They're saying it's gonna be high scoring game. I agree, And that's the only way the Buccaneers win. You can't turn the ball over and you can't you can't kick field goals. You gotta score touchdowns when you're playing the Chiefs. Yeah. No, I will say this. I'm not a sports betting mind like j d at all. But I'm capable enough to know. You know, I got three point spread over, understand all that good stuff. I'll give you something good. I think that if anyone thinking of betting and taking the cheese and taking those three points like even though three points like man, I think that's a good that's a good bet man like I Agree women, and I mean they would have blown them out in the first game, which means a whole lot of nothing. For the most part. It seems like it's working advantage to the bus coming into the game, but they don't know I don't read into that question is, if this is the quarterback for the other team is not Tom Brady. I think this spread is like 6.5 or seven. I think it's a lot. I think I think I think Tom Brady is putting points in the other direction now. Both these teams are pretty good at stopping the other the other team on third down. I mean, the Bucks have a lot of speed at linebacker with Devon White in Labonte, David and Shack burned around the corner. I'm not going to touch the game. I'm just taking the under all my only bet is going to be the under in the Super Bowl. That's it. I could see them all the totals very high, so I could see the under coming in as well. Okay, Brian summoned. Let's switch topics quickly here and let's Ah Let's start with you and I'll be basketball. There's a very good basketball team that's in town this week. Of course, I'm talking about Utah State. They're one of the best teams in the Mountain West Conference. They actually just are coming off of a loss against the very good Colorado state team. Utah State Keita. Ah, lot of people thought that he would go to the MBA last year, he remained Brock is an unbelievable three point shooter. They've got a lot of talent on this team. I'm a big fan of Craig Smith. I like what he's done with the Utah State program. Am I wrong to assume that I think you and Alvey is in trouble tonight? In trouble. So you're saying they're gonna lose? I think you will be loses tonight. Yes. Okay. Well, you would know the numbers. You can tell me that after, but I think that I think yes, you and obvious probably in trouble, but I'm gonna go ahead and disagree. I think they went tonight and really used one. You say that they Utah State just lost against a very good Colorado state team. Colorado State team that barely beat UNLV after you know if he had not played a game, 100 years, I'm gonna Colorado state. I'm gonna pull back on you a little bit there, and here's why. Okay. First of all, Colorado State beat San Diego State number one number two. They're tied for second in the Mountain West. Conference number three UNLV matches up well against teams that are not good underneath the basket. They don't have size underneath the basket. That's one weakness of Colorado State. They don't have size. They're not skilled. I know they got that one guy Roddy, whose whose hoop Rotting understood Roddy Roddy is a very, very good player, But he doesn't necessarily have size, but he's very athletic. The problem. Height, but he's got to correct the problem with this Utah state team. In my opinion, you could be right, but in my opinion is that they're gonna have a lot of problems dealing with Kate in this game. He's got size. Now who's gonna be guarding in? It's going to be in Bach is young and Bach as young as you know. Gets in foul trouble early. If in Bocca gets a couple falls early, UNLV has no chance. That's the key to the game. In my opinion. I think that I think that in Bach a John matches up great against him. Think of the masters that they've had in the past. He's going to look at the numbers and and it's not like that He's dominated in Boston, John he hasn't dominated UNLV. Um, And historically, you know, he has played well against Utah State and again. Cholera is it if we're using Colorado see that as a barometer, Colorado state Did not dominate you and Alvey. And what did he said that if you know he had had any practices and games, leaving into those games that they would have beat up? They they should've beat him. You know, they actually should have, you know, with all that being said, anyway, so I would really say that. Um, after paying a few games, I think maybe maybe you know this would be upset win, but I think that they're they're coming into this game, probably at the present time for running represents. Well, the problem that I have again if you're talking about the last few weeks is that you wanna bes played some of the worst teams in the country. The last couple weeks in ST Catherine. I've been addicted or whatever. I don't even know what that team was that they played last week. But Gorman Yeah. Yeah. And then they play New Mexico Twice. New Mexico Just lost two, arguably the worst of Vision, one college team in the country in San Jose State. That's right, New Mexico Just lost. They get their last game UNLV against New Mexico. They both teams didn't even combined for 100 points. This is a good Utah state team, so you might be right. Maybe you on all these surprises me. I just think Utah State is a much more polished, better basketball team. But we'll have to wait and see what happens. And I guess that's why they play the games. Right. So they're gonna be playing tonight in a very short and college basketball schedule tonight and because of covert Utah State remains in town, and I bet you a lot of these and they'll play Wednesday's white bitch. A lot of these teams are very happy to be remaining in Vegas for forced to stay in Vegas four days as opposed to in Provo or some of these other places that some teams are forced to stay in. So what? We'll have to wait and see what happens. I hope you're right. I hope you and all the plays. Well,.
