"O'clock today, the latest on the Supreme Court vacancy. We get a lot of stuff to get to 93 WNBC. Going to spot if I was a big story, Big, big story $100 million deal My Oh, my. Oh, my, but of course. The woke existed Spotify as well. Tony Cats, Tony Cats today. The report was was that Spotify employees demand direct editorial oversight over Joe's podcasts. What do we mean by direct oversight? They want to be able to have content flags. Does the content might be, you know, upsetting, therefore trigger warnings. References to fact checked information or simply refusing the publishing episode it all because he interviews some people on the French. Yeah, that's why people love him. He interviews all kinds of people. But you want to block the stuff you don't think is acceptable now, this isn't Spotify. This is a group of staffers at Spotify and that group of staffers at Spotify should be fired and physically thrown from the building. And I don't actually care what floor it's from. Because these people are wrong. They could project themselves as good and decent. Or or they think of themselves as woke. And and you're better They always think of themselves as your betters. You understand? They somehow know best for you. And it's wrong for you to have this information. So you know you can't have it. Well, let me have the information decide myself. You can't decide for yourself. You don't know how to decide yourself will decide for you. Elitism. It's disgusting. It's disgusting and trash and garbage and awful. And of course, we should be opposed to it. I don't think anybody's gonna get the chance to do this. I would assume that Rogan's deal. Not knowing Joe Rogan at all. Never having met the man. I assume Rogan's deals that I have total control over all my content, and you people are lucky to have me. Just write the checks. Shut your face. I'll do the rest. At least that's how I hope his contract reads. That's good. That's my next contract Producer. I wait till you see my next contract negotiation. I've never even been in the room for a contract negotiates. It's my first of all, there is something very, very enjoyable. To be in the room. You know, sometimes you got to.

"But Stephen Vons Voodoo is fucking amazing and it's him. It's clearly him yeah. They play this song. I mean I've said a million times. That's I name this podcast I stole the name from Jimi Hendrix. The Joe Rogan experience came from the Jimi Hendrix experience. Yeah. Nothing nothing like him I always been at. Odds bleach attracted to him you know. That's weird us but that's what it is like attracted to his music and attract like ham has something about him. That just always resonated with me. You know the old studio I had the the Mugshot up and We represents the sixties. The and also this psychedelic thing experience like not not in this like cheesy way. But like in Really. Out there way for the genuine January yeah authentic. Is. The the fun tension because your your health guy he talked about like it'd be healthy how to almost like have a balance. But. That at the same time you say that. You celebrate the self-destruction that led to the genius of Jimi Hendrix something I. Celebrate the self-destruction to self-destruction is an unfortunate aspect of that path. Right, and there's a lot of weirdness Jimi Hendrix Death I. Don't know if you know like he had a a gangster manager who apparently had him kidnapped just so that he could rescue him and convince Jimmy that he was a savior. There's a book that was written on it with that accuses this manager of killing Jimi Hendrix. And saying that. They also threw his girlfriend off a roof when she did either jump off a roof was thrown off a roof. And died shortly afterwards because she knew too much whatever who the fuck knows. It was one of Hendrix, bodyguards someone who worked for the manager that real the story but. The thing about that path, the path of drugs and destruction it's been It's been a path of many of my idols whether it's Kenneson. or Richard Pryor or even Hicks. Hicks died from cancer but a lot of that is probably attributable to him chain smoking and just. A lot of drugs and stuff when he was younger and just destroyed his life. And then it's also pancreatic cancer. So genetic thing as well. You never really know what's causing pancreatic cancer but. The your conversation with Mike Tyson actually symbolizes this really interesting way for me because here you have. Like one of the greatest fighters. Who Somehow found inner peace through the whole like Marijuana marijuana thing but just the way he was behaving. Just was positively and just this vile putting them out there and yet he now for at least brief moment in his life rediscovered the darkness. I was. Watching your podcast with him in the moment when you said like you were having another level chat, he just took you like a few levels up by saying like. That you know when you think about hurting people sometimes it's orgasm. So Gas Mick and you try to laugh it off but there's like memes of. He's like, no I'm serious. Well, I mean, I was laughing I mean I wasn't really trying to laugh it off. I was laughing at the the madness of what does that make by the way down trump tweeted that clip of that I don't know what to make. Politically I don't know what the context. To Mike Tyson saying. Erotic trump's like an old comedian who just happens to be president. Really. I. Mean. The same kind of behavior that a comedian has the timing? Timing like when the thing about Hillary Clinton, you'd be in jail number that. Timing that when they were doing a debate and she she said. About. Him It's painful to I I went back and watched those debases painful to watch. It makes me. As somebody who wants to see a truth and positively went out in the world. Pains me to think about the debates. Biden trump. I don't think they're going to happen. You don't think so no thing. I think the people in the Democratic Party to wise. I think it's possible that Carmela Harris might debate pence I think that's probably and I I think she'll do really well against pants. Pence is a bit robotic and careful and you know an evangelical. Super Christian I. Think she should probably do very well in those debates. Especially there's no audience see that's the thing man. Those debates a lot of it was like getting them zingers in. Yeah I think trump needs an audience like a comedian. You said I think he needs the it would certainly help crowd to work off How do you say Donald trump junior girlfriend's name kimberly. How do you say it guilfoil exact kilfoyle. The way it's written is like, why are we pretending that? This is this is like the correct use of these letters because. He shouldn't put all those letters together like that like fix that. But there's a great video that someone put together an I re tweeted it or reposted it. Of Her screaming this message to an empty room, and then there's a beaver on top of a mountain. This is this is the thing that. Is Amazing Internet's. undefeated this thing about doing stuff in like. Here it is. silly. You. Though it's still just find it on my instagram. It's instagram. But it's so funny because. People are doing stand up these days on zoom and it's bad like really good comics look terrible doing stand on no audience. Comedy's supposed to be there it's like. It's like you know you have a battery and you're charging about battery you have to put something in the area to play real quick..

"Joe Rogan brought his entire world Over to Spotify. Said. Forget This place is ridiculous. Took the $100 million deal with Spotify moved himself Texas. California who can live here gone? So He's now It's spot of fire is working towards Spotify. And the next thing you know, Spotify staffers. I want to introduce direct editing oversight. Into his podcast. They want to be able to add content flags, trigger warnings, references, the fact check information or refused to publish an episode at all. Spotify has any brains whatsoever? They'll fire every single one of those staffers. And take on any lawsuit that comes their way. These people who think they're good and decent and pious are anything but And that they want to control other people's content. His madness. Absolute madness. Why? Because he's interviewed some people who are a little on the fringe for a lot of the fringe. Yeah. Rogan interviews people who are a little on the fringe or a lot on the fringe. Right? He also interviews people who you want to hear from until somebody has Spotify in this little group of of Ah beta males decides that it's too friends or to unacceptable or too violent. Who are these people? They should have no say over our lives. They are not good or decent. They should be crushed. I feel the same way when I hear people talking about anti racism training in our schools, by the way, a gut center And a piece on Facebook. I can't tell you yet whether this is true or not. I cannot tell you. If this is true, this is something called the Clark Pleasant Community School Corporation. Did anybody get an email? From the superintendent. About anti racism training at the Clark Pleasant Community School Corporation. This was sent to me. I can't even describe to you what it is, except, supposedly, it's about anti racism training until I have confirmation. I've got nothing. But I'd love to know somebody's got it because I'd like to know whether what I'm getting sent is legit or not. Oh, yes, of course. Somebody could make something up. Check. Double check. Recheck. That's always the way trust but verify Reagan knew what he was talking about. Anti racism training in school is that's training of bigotry. We confront racism. We confront discrimination with discrimination, and then we confront future discrimination with discrimination. And then we somehow take the words of Robin D'Angelo, as as Ah wrote and say that if anybody disagrees, well, that's just proof of their racism. That's their white fragility. Count me out of that ridiculous kind of Orwellian hell circle. You can't complain. Can't saving about it. You're guilty for the way that you were born and will discriminate against you. Even though you did nothing wrong to show you the error of your ways, which you have not committed. Because of your existence. Your guilty Well, that's that is very Elitist of you. You know better, but because of how you were born, so you can help control the lives of how other of other people because of how they were born. Democrats never stopped being elitist. I guess they just morph into new ways to do it. I was going not an angry episodes to be very focused episode in the nonsense just like the people who are saying that if you nominate and confirm a Supreme Court nominee, it's against the law or unacceptable or unethical. Just stop you want called hypocrisy? Knock yourself out, but it doesn't change anything having to do with the Constitution. And all those people just sounds dopey as all get out. As all get out. Equally as hypocritical. Let's get back to the Constitution and be done. Let Joe Rogan speak. Make sure you check out the podcast and subscribe at rumble dot com. Wisconsin Supreme Court rejects Green bid for ballot access

"The Wisconsin Supreme Court is keeping the Green Party off the November presidential ballots. In a 4 to 3 decision. On Monday, the court ruled that the Green Party waited too long to challenge the Elections Commission decision that kept them off the ballot in the first place. It states that quote it is too late to grant petitioners any form of relief that would be feasible and that would not cause confusion and undo damage. The three votes against were from the courts. LGBTQ+ representation in cybersecurity

"You tell me some some some juicy bits from your autobiography? What kind of stuff? Are we going to cover here. Let's let's you know. Let's let's for a little bit not too much but just a little bit for the readers. I'd have to be careful because I gotta take care of my boy Jim minutes. Oliver Wiley Okay Yeah so great guy by the way. Cool cat. So. Widely doesn't publish autobiographies. So technically I checked call it that it is a non fictional narrative. I am. Real territory between more autobiography whatever exactly. Exactly. But so yeah, it's it's really it's my coming up story. It's my former life and my former skin you know as Eric Hines. And and Not. So where does say that name And you know my transition and really you sort of becoming Loki. Where I transitioned in two thousand and eight, and my journey is a trans woman in. A male dominated world male dominated industry in cybersecurity. My world is cyber security right and You know what that experience has been like just. It's interesting for me because it's very. it's a very unique perspective being able to say that I've lived my life is to completely different sexes to completely different genders you know and and living my life is a man living my life as a woman It's very interesting because you don't really prepare for that. You don't prepare because is a man you read about the inequality. Roy of of men and women in the workplace. The wage disparity being passed up for job opportunities in the workplace as a woman over a man with the same or less credentials or experience. It's a real thing and I didn't prepare myself for what that would be like and it's it's you would hope that. An industry as as you know, new is cyber security. 'cause if you think about cyber security isn't very old, it's not like us. Our banking. Or. Investing, it's it's A. It's a nascent industry that we are trying to figure out as we go right and So you would think it would be more progressive. When it comes to equality and inclusion in. It's not you know and I. You know there was a tweet storm that occurred. I. Think you brought it up in a previous episode where I got involved in to a thread that actually became my most viral tweet and it was a about a gentleman who made the made the statement that cybersecurity moves too. Fast for women run and and that women would rather be at home and be homemakers and be family oriented versus being in Cybersecurity, and it was shocking to me is this is this is a very prevalent narrative for some reason You know there's a lot of people that believe that you know, hey, a cybersecurity isn't for women and here's why. I always from played devil's advocate I was trying look at it from other people's perspective But it's hard to find out a lot of things I'm reading. Because you know I mean there's there's a lot of I think. There's a lot of things that people need to be educated on when it comes to just women issues, but trans issues like you know there's this belief and I hear it a lot. That Trans women shouldn't be allowed to participate in Women Only Sports, right? That's so stupid to me. You know and is in I think it was actually South Rogan's podcast where he actually talked about this and in the narrative is being spread a lot. I understand I think from that perspective but people don't understand that when you go through hr it. Your upper body strength as a as a man as man's body gets depleted you know your your upper body strength. Pretty much goes away in deteriorates. There are women on the tennis court. I. Used to be a competitive used to play tennis competitively and go to tournaments, and there's women biological women that could kick my ass on the tennis court you know and their biological women have. Much, more per body strength than me and you know I think it's an I. Don't think it's ignorance I. Think it's education. It's it's. A learning curve. Yeah and like like for example, martial arts, you know there are biological women that could wipe the floor with. And and you know so I think I think it's educating people understanding and also the unique perspectives were probably talk about the blog article here in a minute unique perspectives at the Lgbtq community brings two teams brings to the workplace. Yeah. that that that you may not find in a less inclusive culture

The Best Places in America to Build Wealth By Age

"Yeah. Of the things I love about when we do this show is where show ideas come from right. So obviously a lot of times it comes from the audience sometimes, it comes from something we'll be doing internally. With clients that the wealth management firm but this came from a different place. This whole show was born out of something that you would not think of money got shelby born of. So guys it probably plays out a lot like you think it is around here is that bose office is right next to my? Office and when I come in in the morning I typically I suck all productivity out of the room by going in sitting in one of his chairs and I tell him. So, here's what happened. My daughter is taking a personal finance course and one of the big topics that she had and I was just really incredible is the income tax rate by state and how that impacts as well as the cost of living for rent and other things, and I can still remember the example was San Francisco compared to Portland Oregon, and I'll get into the details later. I was just I told a house like you got to pay attention. This really is an amazing thing on while when you're starting out, you gotta pay attention what tax rates and other things because they really influence. So I was all excited about this idea in abroad a. He of course, pull out. Wait until I turned around and stuck me in the back and then told me this idea was horrible but he did make it better. I give you a lot of credit you you think like I think but you make things. I I think you take it. You bridge the idea into something else because he came up with. Why don't we do this by age of the best places to live because what you're hitting on is different parts of the country have different things, and here's what I didn't realize when we had this conversation 'cause this is probably a month and a half ago. That had this conversation was how current events were going to veer into what we're talking about here because. Just in the last three days Joe. Rogan has announced. He's moving from California to Texas. You hear Tesla is announced. They'll go have a brand new plant that they're going to be building a cyber truck in Texas as well. So you start thinking about, wow, there are things going on and how many articles do we see right now because of what happened with Cova? That people are working from home. Big corporations are announcing. You know what? Maybe we'RE NOT GONNA. Go back to the traditional office based component. We're let you work from wherever I think a lot of people are about to say. If I've a choice. Let me start figuring out what's important to me on the decision making of where I should leave live for Mafia and what I think about brides. We've never actually sat down put pen to, but we actually worked this entire exercise ourselves starting way back in like the early two thousand tins is time figuring out where we want to live like where do we want to put the business where to the families what opportunity to look for? Even, though we had, we didn't have the show pinned at that time. We kind of went through the things that we're going on the show on how you should think about where I live really impacts my financial wellbeing both now and over the long term have you ever noticed corporations will have an entire task force at their job is to figure out where they're going to put it in starting the local communities to essentially bid out, give them tax breaks and other things, and they'll they'll figure out. They'll take the executive teams and figure out where they WANNA live I. Don't think the average American I think most people live where they live because that is close to where they were born family is close to where they went to College A. You know I don't know that people have gone done a deep dive yet spend the entire show. We have so many episodes talking about training your mind to think a certain way thinking about all the tactics to building wealth but one of the most important things is to make sure that you're putting your entire financial empire is rooted in Fertile Soil Yep, and let me give you a perfect example. I lived in Georgia my entire life. Loved it. Now, there's two things that were going on Bo. You are starting to reach a point in your career on new you needed additional opportunities because i. you know the where we lived in an south, Atlanta was just not going to be economically feasible for support me and my family but future advisor wasn't GonNa be the same. So that was then have a special needs daughter Yep. So that kind of the culmination of those things brought together starting to do this research and when I tell people we moved to Nashville after we looked at Naples Florida after we looked at Alfa Reta. George after we looked at Boone North Carolina. I Charleston I mean, we have a whole list of all the different cities we went through and actually pulled up the the data points. People look at me like I have a third, all my head and I'm like, no, this is this was how important this was. So I want to encourage you to think about where you live also a former neighbor who's now back in Chicago. He says his biggest turning point in his career was when he was just a print salesman in Chicago barely you remember these guys from door to door when we were down in south. Atlanta try sell a dismal way to make a living. He took a flyer chance and started doing sells out in California for a technology company changes entire life I mean he's back in Chicago. Now lived in Tennessee for while we have clots. Yeah I think one of the thing that's really interesting Brian is like We're we were talking about this on average personal finance. It was a lot of focus on early part of your career where to decide I want to start my career but this actually permeates through all the different stages of life because what you say we have clients right now that are either at retirement at first retirement or beginning to think about retirement that are starting this process right now figuring okay. This is where I've. Lived my whole life? How do I make the choice of where? I. Want to retire where I want to move to what adjustments I wanna make, and so we're seeing it very practically right now in the lives of real human beings. So don't take for granted where you live because it does have a huge impact I will tell you moving to Nashville we moved here for all those things on that list what we didn't know. Is that when we moved here, we gonNA have access to more creative types have access to people who move out of work video who could do video editing who could do graphics. The fact that we moved to Nashville. has made this business probably we've quadrupled out easily. I mean I don't even know what the past quadruple is toppled is win toppled. Okay. So so I'm just telling you guys if you will change your minds at you might this thing might grow more fruit than you even could put in your

7 Myths & Mistakes To Avoid When Launching Your New Podcast in 2020

"What's going on welcome back or welcome to the show for the first time? I'm musty as your host, you'd help you. Launch and grow a successful podcast helps you grow your business. Build your personal brand and become more successful and better known whether your goal is more impact or income or all of the above. This is the show for you. When you want to use a podcast to do just that now today. We're GONNA. Be talking about something that trips up a lot of entrepreneurs and business owners when they start their podcasts, and is why it becomes such a chore, and then they eventually fail and give up and to be. Debbie. Downer or someone who's really negative, but I'm going to share with you today. Seven myths slash pitfalls about launching your podcasts at I've coached a lot of people through have helped a lot of clients through and I've seen this happen over and over again even if you're a year into the podcasting game or your year to growing your podcast, and you're like my shows is. Is kind of idle like it's. It's not growing anymore. I'm not getting any leads from it. I'm not getting any new customers from it I'm not getting anything from his just another thing for me to do on my to do this. Well are some flaws are some things you're doing? That are causing you to think like that could help you reshift. Reposition your exact your mindset. Mindset around this in this training Oh this episode so before get into this one. Definitely just circle back had a share something. That's for me kind of illustrated. This point in in real life got a client who's done amazing job for their their podcast. They're up to about twenty thousand downloads month. They're doing great. They get all of media the interviews they are able to reach big. Big Equal, but they often compare themselves to people who have been doing undoing podcasting eight nine ten years, and they're only about a year or two in the game, and that's a big issue that really is that truly is one of the biggest things you can was taken over one I would say is, is this and this? Is this whole conversation that we had with? This client recently was all about this. It's about comparing your niche. PODCASTS was show. That's much much much broader. Here's the deal. If you have a niche podcast meaning, you're talking to a very specific market, and you compare yourself to Joe Rogan or a very much a bunch of punch broader podcast that has reached because they bring on guys like ee. Lan Muss. It's hard to compare really look at your podcast success. Getting to twenty thousand dollars for most people is is isn't hard or sorry is easy and the fact that they've done in less than a lesson. Two years is pretty remarkable so especially in this world now. Now, maybe in two, thousand, sixteen, two, thousand, fifteen much easier, nowadays, not so much a lot more competition out there, so I'm happy for them, but they're comparing themselves to a lot of people have been doing this for eight nine years I mean. If you've been doing this for eight nine years, you should expect to have a way bigger show especially consistently the way they're who they're comparing themselves to. If you go back and look at those shows a near year twos I. Bet you. They weren't doing the numbers they're doing now and they're still doing the same numbers. They probably wouldn't be doing for this long. I can guarantee. GUARANTEE THAT SO NUMBER ONE! Don't compare your niche podcast. Show to someone who's doing something much broader Joe Rogan Tim Ferriss you name it like those those guys are in a broader market. They have experienced They were mainstream before they got into podcasting so yesterday some anomalies. There's Louis Houses who've been doing this for years again. That's START OUT PODCASTING, but no, it's time it takes time trees on grover night. Why would you podcast overnight? So that's number. One number two is comparing your launch to somebody who's way bigger than you so listen. If you have a small audience, you can expect to demand hundred thousands of downloads. Downloads out the gate. I've only seen. That's probably a handful of times where someone is able to do that and every single time it's it's from somebody who already has a large of a name in their in their space. They may not be like Oprah, Winfrey big, but they have the in their space carved out a name for themselves. So if you're coming in doesn't have a name for themselves. You can expect your podcast. Be This game changer? It's a reflection of you, your podcasts and your content of reflection of you, so a big mistake. People make is comparing their launch to someone WHO's ten times bigger than them. You're trying to go into battle with someone who has way more firepower than you compare your launch or or that you're more of your podcasts. That is a mistake. Big Big mistake that I see people

"He does a lot of martial arts as well does he yeah? he did some some taekwondo, and he did some Greco Roman wrestling and stuff like that shit. I talked to the crowd so much because I used to watch him do that and I love that. Yeah I know you hate when I do it, but well, it's not that I hate it. It's if I go on afterwards. They WANNA. Talk to me to now see I. Don't get the just ask them questions. And the way I ask him questions, it doesn't make doesn't open it up for conversation. It opens up to that. They want to shut up I try to approach it that while a jab you know I, get it. I understand I WANNA make sure you're good when you go I, understand I. get it out of their system stand. "Yeah, so Yeah that they have this whole thing though dancing. That is a well yeah. The Iron Fat Lady, they this whole thing that you can't associate obesity and health at all. It's not allowed. It's considered. It's considered a medical narrative, and if we were to come up with, let's say like you invented tomorrow Joe Rogan's. Supplement company Joe Rogan's weight loss pill, but not like some bullshit matching. It really worked right so everybody who takes us pill within of course of a month would get to their deal bodyweight. By. Pill magic just imagine they would actually in fat studies, which is a real critical faster. He's a real thing we. We wrote a paper about that, too. They would call that a fat genocide because you're getting rid of all the fat people. But you're not but everyone of us. Healthier it them they are. They are healthier, but they can always choose to be fatty on. So that's the problem with this shit is it plays on people's best instincts while giving the worst possible reading of everything right like they literally would, and I take personal accountability as well right. They actually say that in disability studies about people who are deaf, invented a surgery or whatever that fixed deafness or an implant. That could fix deafness for everybody. They say it's a deaf genocide because there'd be no deaf people. They've really say that yeah. God so silly, and so I mean you can see. It's just like God. It's so silly restoring a sense as a genocide on people who are handicapped as somebody who's lost senses. I can tell you you want them back or you want them to have them. If you don't, they hate you. When you had your head injury that you couldn't taste anything. Yeah, so I. Really bad in January, twenty eleven and crack My skull and PULL UPS pull up. Bar came apart Oh. My God I was doing those bad ass. Ones where you pull up in, touch your feet. So it was horizontal, seven feet off the ground in the pull up bar came apart and. Back of the head on concrete, oh my God do. Man It was bad like my ears ringing for like a month. tell you this because you fight, so you'll understand I hit my head the back of my head so hard that I deviated Septum Oh my God nothing hit my nose, but my my nostrils aren't the same as they were ever since. So I woke up the next morning. I mean a didn't go to sleep for a long time. Because I've got a concussion. I'm fucked and so then I get up eventually the next morning after I decided to sleep because my pupils aren't doing any of the things and I drink my coffee mammoth coffee tastes. Really Weird I'm really knocked. Silly, and then I realized sometime during the day I couldn't smell anything and it couldn't taste anything. And so then I went through this process for like two years of growing those senses back I. Actually think you learn to smell and taste things think kids. Vegetables is like they haven't learned how to process tastes yet. Wow and stuff tasted really weird. I had phases where like my coffee and garlic, and you know like grape juice, all tastes, exactly the same a fighter and he's had a long career in after one of his fights, he lost his sense of smell. Have Yeah you saying that what drove him? Crazy couldn't smell his daughter's hair down like you would hug. His daughter couldn't spit so weird. Everything's just neutral. It's so weird. It's really it's depressing I was like putting like. Vicks vapor up like right under my nose. I couldn't smell it. Just kind of burn the skin doctor saying as far as the the. Covering really said sometimes recovers, and sometimes it doesn't. It's about five percent of back of the head concussions and came back and I think it's mostly back to normal. I'll mean I learned the hard way About a year ago, that I still couldn't smell spoiled milk. You can't spell again now. This is why I think you learn it. Because now you can if I if you can't smell when for me, why experience was that? If I couldn't smell or taste something and I just kept forcing myself to have it it before long I could. Start to taste normal really but anything that I avoided so one at ever drink spoiled milk one. What I experienced oil milk's all of a sudden came home from a trip like last year, and then like you know bust, open the cream for my coffee and I've like ported intake like this is a sour coffee like it was like a new coffee, so I thought maybe just like really acidic was like. This is really kind of gross and I walked by my wife and she was like what was. Poor that you know what is that now? She could smell it out of my coffee even. And then I couldn't smell it, but then I started to I actually. It's Kinda Gross, but actually bought a bottle of milk and just let it go bad just so you could flew practice practice. Melania, now I can smell it. Oh, you're practicing the smell. It would come back and so the doctor said when I hit my head. Though is at the two things are happening. One happens in the brain, and they don't know what's going on. And the other is the nerve fibers through the eth- moyed bone in your nose, either can stretch or tear, and those have to. If they do they go dormant, and they have to wake back up over time. So I got lucky. I suppose because mine's seems to be more or less back to normal, but a year ago. Well, it was obviously. Thinks. He's still have an issue, so there's anything that I haven't encountered I. Probably won't smell correctly. What about Farts, Kinda Fartsy? Smell and I'm pretty far I think I got those covered at this point. Avalon practice those two. Because some far different, yes, right sign! About a gases that was the thing I couldn't smell like well smoke for a long time. That's scary. That was actually properly scary. Oh, man, when you realize you can't smell smoke. It's scary. Yeah, because it's like how you know if your house is on fire. I didn't want my wife to leave in like. Go on a trip for like a week..

"This is interesting because I'm looking at an op ed from Tom Rogan the Washington examiner and he's talking about the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff general mark Milley says he made the right decision on Thursday by apologizing for his attendance of president trump's walk from the White House the Saint John's church that walk which required the dispersing of an otherwise peaceful crowd of protesters I don't think that was the case but involved a trump posing with the Bible for photographs whether not trump's actions were justified I believe trump should have walked to the church early in the morning of the next morning after protesters departed he says it was overtly political in design in effect for that reason Millie should not have been involved

"We have a lot to talk about today. None of which involves Joe Rogan. So that's why here that's why you're here. You go ahead and hang up because we're not talking about that today whatsoever. Not were not Besides that you can hear conversations about that literally anywhere else but no one's about and all by every single man however that has mouth has spoken about that other guy so or written articles about it. I challenge you all those people that are listening right now to send us some thought leadership on this situation written or spoken about by a woman other than Cara Swisher because she did talk about it on her. Show mind you. That's a Co hosted. Show but anyway go ahead but don't send it to us because we don't care we don't care but no one talking about this news worthy item which is to show better. Hori is a much better story. This this is a news. Worthy item is about the show. Call Her Daddy. Don't want anybody in the chat right now. Everybody has anybody listen to the show. Call her daddy or are you familiar with their current drama in the chat on not in the actual show? 'cause I've been down a rabbit hole rabbit holes with this show. It's a show by a twenty six and twenty seven year old women so Fia and twenty eight. I believe just their names are Sophia. Alex even co hosting the show for while they with The network Barstool sports and as little as a few weeks ago they were best friends. I don't know if they were roommates or not. I thought they were. That's why I'm like going. I wonder who's living like so anyway. Keep going they were roommates. They were friends they were there. Show is about sexual health and basically talking about who they're having sex with dating nowadays and how it all works and whatever and connects. Do how what it's like. It's kind of like love. Line you guys but without Dr drew like there is no Dr drew. It's just the other guy. What's the other guy? Adam Adam Curle but now Adam Corolla has morphed into eight twenty six and twenty seven year old girl women and they are both like Adam Corolla talking about dating and sex and random things for an hour or so because sometimes our shows are really long. So that's the vibe of what it is it's and it's sort of like I think it's kind of like our show to some degree though jess accept that were old and we don't get as Risque about talking about sex specifically well because married. People don't do that in public. That's why but that is correct Because yeah yeah so at least these two Mary. People don't do it and probably some do but we don't so they were about to sign a renew their contract with Barstool sports which was their network and then somehow everything went to Shit and there are a couple articles that will post in the show notes so that you can read the entire saga but basically they went to sign when they went to renegotiate Sophia found out that Alex was making more money than her significantly. More like fifty thousand dollars more and that is because she added the show and does the social media marketing so quietly she she either negotiated or renegotiated a different salary. Now keep in mind. One of the makes Sophia salary was like four hundred sixty six thousand a year. Alex's was like five Oh five or something like that like it. Wasn't that much difference. But it was different. Believe they've found that out in the meeting and then a little cloudy about so so then. Sophia left that meeting and got another meeting with wonder with the help of a friend that they're calling superman no not a friend a boy. Her boyfriend which I think is problem here. Boyfriend of the other girl is now knowing by yeah. He's now Yoko by setting up a meeting with wondering with with like he probably what happened is we had to guess. He buzzed and Sophie as ear. But how this should be making more money and that he could get them more money and maybe even get a commission if I guess and so he got the meeting with wondering which Alex didn't want only Sophia wanted that and then to make a very long story short not that we have to but just to sum up so guys know what we're talking about because they took that other meeting Barstool. Sports started talking about how they're greedy and hungry and ungrateful and then Sophia and Alex talk amongst themselves and realize that they were just valuing their show and what they wanted out of it differently so then Al and signed with Barstool sports without Sophia. She now has her own show called. Call Her Daddy. And Sophia does not exist in the podcasting space as of now. I guess unless she's going to do our own show wondering about summit up kind of but there was a little I mean the latest episode for. Call her daddy as of right now you guys. I don't know what number it is. You can actually hear directly from the founder of Barstool. Sports like he breaks it down all of the stuff that she just said from his point of view. So there are. It's not exactly how you mentioned it but I do appreciate you like following. It is just like some some nuances then. Also Sophia has a excuse me. Alex has a thirty plus minute video on her youtube channel where she also breaks it down step by step of how everything went down why. She made the decision that she made and she's completely transparent.

Some of them don't even mean what they're saying that just fifteen year old kids and want to rile you up and it's like. Is that a way to talk to people the way to talk to people's like this. Hi What's up? We're in front of each other. That's how people talk when they're just being around people. This is that we're supposed to talk. All this other shit is too confusing for us. Oh Yeah we don't handle it. Yeah and I've I've fallen into that trap for sure. I've gone through cycles of the way I handle comments. I've become an indiscriminate. Blocker is what I do now. The first sign of negativity some people say oh that's not very democratic but whatever the way I look at it as you create an environment I'm trying to create a positive environment on my social media and but the problem is and what you're saying is making me second. Guess myself to be honest with you because I know I spent far too much time on that shit and I'm thinking man I really should just not read. That's times precious. Yeah it's precious even now. When people were forced to not work you can do one of two things right. You get either drink all day. Which a lot of people are doing. There's a hilarious video of this guy. Who's out jogging? His neighborhood. Just passed by people's recyclables point out all the empty wine bottles and empty vodka bottles and he just jobs over. Let's see this guy's got boom same shit whiskey why Bam Bam Bam. People are just getting lit up. You could do that or you could use this time to get in shape. You use this time to write out a workout program. He's could use this time to start reading books online You know you could. You don't even have to leave. Your House you've kindle or you know or one of those Barnes no barnes and noble the nook. Because that's still around our barnes and noble still real. They haven't gone under bookstores. They still a books have been doing that for me now. No that's really going to that kind of that kind of pulled media you know tangible media that's really gonNA people are getting losing their old habits now. You know you know go bookstore. Now you sure kindle and all these things are taken in bookstores were hurting already because of Amazon because you just order it online. Like my one book there tomorrow. There's something about that. Like not having to leave and now the people are getting used to getting the groceries delivered. If you live in a neighborhood that has grocery store that delivers you just order online. They'll send it to your house so I've I've like I said I haven't left my house and five weeks. The first time I left castaway type deal or like a prisoner the ankle. Brace Joe Joe Rogan calls you come okay but no one else would have gotten me into my house really. Yeah absolutely oh nobody else But I was very honored to be here. I love to have you but Now listen I I have gotten good at living In my house without leaving I I bought one thing that was weird and I actually find it. Strange actually find this strange about four weeks before shit went down right for whatever reason it was happened it was it was like it was in. Italy. I think it was bad over there. I I'M NOT BY ANY MEANS DOOMSDAY. Prepar or anything like that. In fact the opposite I strive always said to myself something went wrong. You know like I'd I'd have like one day supply food or something like that. My house and I went before the rush on the toilet paper. All that stuff I went and got nonperishable food. I got sardines. I read articles. But what's good protein got beans. I got rice I gun stocked up my pantry stuff. Got About a month's supply of food not thinking that I was actually going to. Actually I mean I knew it was possible. There were glimmers it. They're starting to talk about it but nothing I was actually going to be locked in my house and then all of a sudden it happened and smart you. Wouldn't it be nice if I did have a month? Supply of food. Yeah I talk about this stuff a lot with my friends and we're always talking about the possibilities of things but you know you didn't think it was. Actually it happened so then it happened so Then I've discovered some delivery services that deliver groceries who the people delivering and are they healthy. So so here's the thing about that so I do not interact with them. Oh Jesus touched the stuff that they touched right Chew and again again again. Just just to be safe. I did disinfect. Them and then I take them and put them in with gloves with rubber gloves. Put them into a a another room and Let it sit for three days for the virus to die and then then I start eating. Starting I wish there was a clear answer to all this. I wish there was a clear solution to all this. I tell you talking to. You is making me feel better well. I feel better reading the latest statistics. About the mortality rate. I wonder what the actual there's an infection rate hospitalization rate mortality rate. And what was it was the study that was was it? Ucla is that what it was for sure. And it showed of a very low fatality rate in comparison to infection. So that's good news. The bad news is you know could still kill a lot of fucking people and people that are immune compromised people with diabetes people that are overweight people with lung problems. People with a cigarette habits all and particularly one of the nurses were saying People who were into the jewel people who smoke with jewel they said there's a high instance that that he personally was seeing of people Was it the heat nurse? Shinners told me this note. I was wondering if you remember like one month before this happened. There people were having lung issues because of vapes. And would you think that was weird virus? Well it was a big thing for like a we had that explained by maybe that was Corona Var. We had that explained us by Adam. Curry wasn't really what it appeared to be. Would it really was is a concerted effort to conflate? Two things were happening. One these assholes that made like really shitty low level. Thc vape pens people sick and a couple of people died. Have forget how many people died. Was it like ten. People died Jamie something like that. Adam Curry told us the whole story in the podcast. Then the cigarette companies or whoever is behind this tried to get all tobacco vapes band and they're trying to ban elite. I was fixing my shot. I want to be on camera and the Mike Buck blog. My face lear. Extra Anisa Henson touch. I touched flush. Rip Thinking about sort grossed out by too much sanitizer. Good policing killing everything sanitizing. But it's not good if I know a guy who used this stuff all time. He's getting his hands. Now because is Is Immune System's fucked up? Oh Sanitizing Carlin bit. Yeah that's really what happens like you're not supposed to use antibacterial soap. You need. Bacteria great bit when we would engy. Jitsu sometimes guys would get a staph infections or ringworm is a big one and ringworm. They would use antibacterial soap and it would wind up fucking up their whole body and wind up getting it more often like they think. Oh I'm just using antibacterial soap all the time. You're killing all the healthy shit on the outside of your skin and then you wonder why you're getting sick all the time. You wonder why your skin is getting infected. And you're not like that normally but honestly is the first one of the actually when you made me that coffee earlier Whatever that coffee was which was amazing? That's the laird. Hamilton stuff black rifle coffee mixed with laird. Hamilton's Turmeric Which is just Some Hawaii surfer. Yeah yeah courteous. Yeah so good right. Oh my God. I know coconut milk and Woo. It's nice. Yeah good for you super healthy. That's the first that someone tops yet that I've touched in over a month that someone else has touched for sure. You've definitely touched other things. He just forgot well in my house. That's true you haven't left the house at all so I've touched the groceries but I I I I just infected but so it's but I don't. I don't expect to be like this forever. Well that's the question when we go back. Did you see the Mayor of Las Vegas? Yeah with Anderson Cooper. This is not China Las Vegas Nevada. So there's a line that you know on this end of the spectrum. It's complete casual lackadaisical approach to what's going on this end of the spectrum. Which is I? Guess me right now right And then there's the middle which is more she on the far end. We're GONNA Open Not Las Vegas. We're GONNA have casinos open when the casinos going to open winners comedies. Going to start again. When are we gonNA be back on the road telling jokes? Good question man. I my most everything I've had I think has been moved. Those opposed to be some stuff in May that I was doing in Des Moines Iowa and Somewhere else and that's getting moved and the only thing that I have scheduled is July in Vegas. That's real. Yeah. That seems so crazy to say that. I don't know here in April whether or not I'll be able to do a gig in July inveighs. You had the PODCAST. You're doing the podcast you get your adrenaline rush from that. I'm assuming you get an adrenaline rush from this. You get from stand-up of course right. This is weird having absence of that. Stand UP COMEDY THING. Not just because it's fun to do but just physically. Are you feeling different? Not Getting that onstage energy rush every night no need to go down there. Yes and no but I know he. I know I can't do anything about it so I just shut it off right. I'm not going to think about that. You can't about shit that there's nothing you can do about. That is just drive you mad. I heard you talking about that with donal. Okay can't stand up right now. This is what it is what it is but man. Have you stop thinking about thinking about a guy that works at? Grocery store. Okay Yeah not the worst job in the world. But it's fine now all the sudden he's in a fucking warzone he's in a viral warzone and he's got a hope that some coughing motherfucker doesn't give them a death sentence while he's a restocking the rice right. It's different words from world for them. I mean what I just. I can't I can't go on stage for a while. Yeah Yeah it's terrible. I feel bad for the comedy clubs really. I feel the waitresses and waiters and the the kitchen staff and the managers all the people that don't have a paycheck coming in. I feel bad for them. and I'm happy to do a ton of free shows. We come back. I'll just do do shows and donate all the money to the.

"My guest today is Hugo Martin and Hugo works at ID software it software the creators of quake and doom and Hugo is the creative director at it software since two thousand thirteen and he makes awesome games and they brought in Doom Eternal Frost tryout in look at and Holy. Shit is an amazing. If you're one of those people like that as a real problem wasting massive amounts of time with doom and quake in all those killer. Three Video Games. You got a new problem on your hands. It's do maternal and it comes out on March twentieth and we sat down with Hugo and just went deep into what it takes to design one of these things and all the fun involved and we had a great time. So please welcome Hugo Martin Joe Rogan experience by Joe Rogan podcast. It's up dude. How are you good? How are you first of all the game? Looks like tell everybody who you are what you do. Is You go. Martin. And I'm the game director on maternal dragging US Maggie. Let Me Tell. You some folks. We Hugo just played some of do maternal. He showed us the game and show and ran through the some of the first level. Holy Fuck God damn it. So next level it's next level graphics. It's everything about the weapons. The demons the way you kill them. It's the most violent thing I've ever seen in life it's awesome. It's so ridiculous but it's like seems like it's okay because it's violence against demons. Yeah totally and we we. We work hard on that like you. Never there's no cursing the I have three kids. There's no cursing there's no sex. I do want it to be something that my nine year old could play. Don't you think it's kind of crazy that you could rip people's heads off? You could shove their arm down their throat. You could cut them in half. That's fine just. Don't use any of those naughty words kids yes because I was joking with someone the other day. It's like with my kids like he's not going to go. Somebody in like glory kill them but when someone's glory kill is because it sounds too much like glory who we're GonNa get really confused so in the game when you damage Demon Enough. They will glow with them. And that means you go into a melee. Finisher basically which is like a a melee attack and get help from it and there. There's really really cool day. We should explain is like with your own hands to rip them apart or cut them in half with a sword or a chainsaw. Yes and no crazy like when my kids see that. They're not gonNA do that but when they hear someone used the F word they're like. Oh I could use that in everyday life and that sucks so very interesting rationalization. I'm not buying but the game is awesome. And we'll be cool if you had a are rated mode that you had to like entering your security number social security number or something and it'll unlock. It shows you're over twenty one. I feel like over eighteen. Yeah and then you just hire your brother to get in here. I'll give you five bucks. I'm Markus pitch would be awesome. It's cartoonish violence though. You could see it very much like a cartoon and again you're killing monsters walking dead when they spike them in the head. You can't do that to a person on TV but you could do it to Islamic and their demons from Hell. You're doing God's work yes that's right. We should explain that doom was one of the very first three Games Castle Wolfenstein right that was like the first one with its software. We've had tarmac in before. He's no longer with yes software but who is still there no. He's not there without hogshead. Know what the Fuck Bro. How's IT SOFTWARE MARGIE? Name a bunch of New People. Listen whoever's running doing an amazing job because that game looks sec and I'm scared. I'm scared of winning. It sucked into it. It's awesome the first of all the game play and then just the beginning sequence the in game like whole sequence looks like of Cgi Movie. It doesn't look like gameplay like remember when we used to play games and he used to have that opening scene there was like a video and then it would go to. The Game. Game was crude. This game is exactly like the opening scene. Which is so crazy. No pre rendered that everything. Those are the in game assets. That's how good they are. The team is like insane. The guys are true artists craftsmen like they. Just go crazy on the details and when you zoom in with the camera for the cinematics they completely hold up the rigging like it's like a feature film it's not there it is right. Now let's play. Let's play the the the old jailer. This is the old trailer. Yeah trailers. Good. Just play it for people your chance to talk him and if you just listening we could got to see this Youtube Navy. Like I'm a grown up but oh shit I have an IRA a four. Oh one day I have kids me to bitch me to not bring you peace to turn worse over the avs. I made vice in the name of our prospects. You didn't get fired now. If you're just listening this is just annoying music and noise but if you watching it looks consec much as Oh and enjoy There's angels to. Oh Jesus oh so. He's like the boss Demon. Yeah Dan this looks good. Doom eternal it looks..

"It's like confusing. You can go on and on and on debate about details and everyone has a point. I'll have a point. The vegan people have a point when it comes to ethics when it comes to animal rights when it comes to let cruelty and factory farming they have a point and then the health conscious people. The people that are like you know. I don't fuck about that. I'm just I'm just trying to be healthy. And I cure my disease basis eating grass fed meat. And I'm just going to buy it from ranchers. They have a point to right well last appreciation for Joe Rogan. Really for for a while. I was appreciating your Independent thinking it takes a lot because it's really easy just to opt into one side and dig your heels in. It's bad for you though it's bad for you. It stops you from actually freethinking. And that's a problem with anything again to be or be it. Religion or spirituality or ethics diet everything everything behavior. I think people have to realize that you are not your thoughts. You're right yoga thing. You are not your thoughts your your person in you. You accept thoughts sometimes become attached to them. But it's not good to do sometimes. You should reexamine those thoughts. And don't don't hold onto them as if they're part of you. People argue points. They'll argue subjects and topics as if they're arguing they're very value as a person they're very value to existence crazy. It's not a good thing if someone tells me I'm wrong. Everyone's instinct when someone tells you know you're wrong for your this petty world but my my disciplined reaction. When I'm doing it correctly is to go Okay how wrong I do wrong and just do be. Don't take it personally just these. This is not if you've made a mistake. That's just a mistake people. You're not a perfect person known as everyone makes mistakes so if you make a mistake about a factor a subject or just pause just pause and take it go okay what what is wrong and then is this person. Correct are wrong or they incorrect and can you. Can you correct them without getting personal about a two can you? That's another thing like. Can you tell someone that they're wrong or that? You believe they're wrong without getting weird you know. That's that's hard to do as well because then that other person's GonNa be very attached what they said. I mean people dig their heels in. Its yeah these are all. He's our points. I'm working on in In my book I'm working on which is sort of extracting all these teachings of Ancient Yoga but not not getting lost in just philosophical thought not getting lost in had to make it relevant and practical. But it's exactly what saying no It's hard for people. It's hard independent. Thinking is is difficult nowadays because it. It's it's not the easy way out right..

There knows what is it is a man scape or something like that and they make something they they make a call ball wash I just take. Subtlety sat ball washing balls. That's what it wants your balls. The ball is yeah. We don't need to beat around the Bush here literally so they I mean they just put it out there now. Superior nut store in the House but five five grams of protein is legitimate by yourself. That's legitimate that's like an actual amount of protein chocolate chocolate supposed to be. It was aren't chocolate to make like a real good chocolate one like we did a good solid dark chocolate cacao. Yeah so you actually get anti-oxidants from the dark chocolate so this the regular the chocolate. That's be sold the store. That's not a good excuse. It's not the worst thing for you like all the candy up at chocolate. It's really just CIA. Just chocolate always half Cacao on it. I don't know does it. Do you know. Could it be like didn't feel like that's the definition of it but but like that really. My favorite. My favorite dessert is dark chocolate and peanut butter just Just because I remember I. I'm going to be throwing a kick and I'm just a matter of time like my my back has there's definitely a lot. There's a lot fucked up in their disks or shrink in my district getting compressed and you know I do all these. These stretches is on these different like there's a reverse hyper machine decompress. You're disciplined. That's the one thing as you get older particularly done wrestling Jujitsu your your disc discs get squashed guys have to get their disks fused. DC member DC throughout his back for throughout the day of the fight. I think when he fought. Derek Lewis Really. I think he I remember the day of that fight in the morning. "The government. My name is Christova Marino on today's episode. I am finally answering a question that I get asked more often than you might expect. And that is Chris. What what do you think about Joe Rogan? Well we're about to cover that helping me out with that today. Is Brian Halverson. Hi Brian. How're you doing greg? Chris Ah good excited to talk about Joe. I'm excited. I've got some. I have some experience listening to a certain Joe Rogan podcast. And we'll get more into. I mean who doesn't have experience listening to Joe Rogan Right. If you've done one. The Youtube Algorithm just spits out Joe Rogan at shoe. Whether you're asking for it or not right. It feels like eventually someone you like whether it's a musician. A comedian median or politician. Ends up on Joe Rogan YouTube goes. I Dunno one point. Eight million people seem to watch this Joe Rogan stuff all the time. Maybe you're one of those. It was one point eight million and then you clicking all of a sudden Joe Rogan's on your house for the next three hours like who hasn't had that experience right. Well yeah at at this point. I don't remember when I started listening to some of his podcast. But at this point I'm unsure based on my Youtube Algorithm Algorithm will what is pushed on me and what is just Naturally presumed a based on years and years of habit but most of mine has been through going to his site In looking PODCAST by PODCAST. I generally weed out The fighting PODCASTS. I there's only so many of that I'm I'm not interested in But the The podcast with some of the more of the guest with more of a scientific background I'm more inclined to just give a listen And then the the the political ones of course It's it's been interesting In what we we can get into it Of of course as far as the political podcast which earned sure. That's the bulk of what you WanNa talk about here. Although you know it's interesting I think the science dance stuff lens is certain framing to understanding Joe Rogan as well and it's one of the problems with the show which is that he he simply does not know enough about some of the subjects to be able to push back in any way so he often comes comes off like the Matrix going like. WHOA WHOA? WHOA I can't believe that's happening and you don't you don't know if it's true or not joe that that's actually part of the problem? Album is that people can have a very compelling sounding presentation and if Joe doesn't know Joe just going to accept and I think that that actually you know is illustrative of some of the danger there. But before we get into Joe Rogan WANNA say real quickly here Thanksgiving it just came and went and.
