Court orders defiant Michigan barber to close his shop

"The Michigan court of appeals ordered the trial court today to issue a preliminary injunction against the barber seventy seven year old girl Mankey from Wausau he has been ordered to quote immediately cease all operations that's from the Michigan court of appeals the the child was he cut a judge Matthew Stewart refused issue that preliminary injunction because he said there's no threat here from my missed making who does you know he's got the mask on what he's doing is hair cutting as he's done for sixty years and basically they've they've shut down his business from Lansing the the governor and her her friend the Attorney General the the cold fury at a rate the Michigan department of health and Human Services appealed the case welcome to appeal the case I mean really you think the Carl Mann ki is is leading to sub spread of the virus here is that what you're saying they appealed the case to a three judge panel of the court of appeals will guess what they just issued a ruling and the ruled two to one reversing the trial court in other words are going against Mister Mackey the majority opinion was signed where there's more just wait the majority opinion was signed by judge Stephen Morello you know who judge Stephen Burrell I was I'm I'm guessing you don't he is he's a man who was the former chair of the Saginaw county Democrat park a former chair of the Democratic Party and he was the judge who issued the the lead the majority opinion wrote that the administration's executive power easily encompasses the closing of the fed ex barber shop those once the governor declared a public health emergency the legislature determined that it was up to the department to issue orders protecting the public health majority opinion said accordingly in order to challenge the exercise of that authority apparently he had to present evidence that appellant overstepped the statutory boundaries Appel E. failed to present any evidence to rebut the department's conclusion that operation the shop posed a serious public health danger what about what about the fact that he did supposedly a danger in the first place have you taken the other point of view that he didn't prove that he's not posing a danger well we shouldn't approve me that he's posing a danger I'm just asking but you get a couple grand home appointees on this court they join together and go to the one the the other judges Brock Schwarz or Schwarz celeb sorry an appointee of Rick Snyder he wrote his own opinion Thursday and he concurred with Perot in part and dissented in part but Parolo again the former democratic county party chair in Saginaw voted along with his fellow Grandhomme appointee A. B. rogaine Krause and they teamed up and and shut down the ship the barber once again you believe it I mean you're spending all this time in court and using money to shut down a barber but there's never been any any evidence whatsoever that the man has posed a health threat to anyone will flock to his store he said the you know the problem is he's had the support of some groups that the governor wants to label as violent militia groups are gonna shoot everybody that's which he and the Attorney General or try to tell us anybody really good condition they they've knoll no concept of what the second amendment stands for I'm just I'm

Hair Loss, Stress, and At-Home Treatments to Regrow Your Hair

"If you've been noticing more clumps of hair in the shower that could be a result of stress But we don't want to stress you out more because there are things you can do. Look I lost his little Patrick here. Living proof ride here but there are things that you can do right now at home to help that And one of the first things. We'RE GONNA START TODAY. We've got a wonderful guest She is a Harrisburg and she's actually know working with Bosley which I thought was just for men. But he educator there and What's so great is that she cleared up. A lot of the MISC- The misconceptions I had about Knoxville as everyone knows what Doxa Gul's the only thing that has been approved by the FDA that actually does regret hair and is active with the minoxidil though Is that something you know? Just speaking as a not a hair professional It's something that I've heard about right. Rogaine is another big brand that you hear about and I have a girlfriend who had significant hair loss. And that's what she was using. But it meant hawks ultimate always been a little bit scary right so is that other people should not be using or is it something. That's pretty safe for everyone. So there's a two different percentages on it. There's a two percent and a five percent. Typically the women use the two percents and the men used the five percent so You Wanna be able to Access that lower percentage If you feel necessary and then you can like start in slowly but I do recommend that you use at the same time every day And it's just like he would try to think about taking care of any other Any other area of your body. I mean you won't stop brushing your teeth with a certain kind of toothpaste. If you have great results from that so Ryan I mean but you get what I'm saying like do you think like pregnant woman shouldn't use yet so and doesn't make your hair fall out at first a little bit too? Can't that be an effect or am I totally wrong about this. Maybe I'm totally off. I'm sure one out of one thousand. Maybe it fell out but maybe he or she skipped a day or like you said didn't put it on at the same time at the same Torino at like. If you break your routine with these systems you can have a shed you absolutely can but is this something you think. Everybody should be using then. I'm even if it's like the hair. He knew it. If you're if you're like fresh out of Chemo and you just grew your new hair back now. Right no right right right. If you think you're going to get pregnant or you're infertility. No I mean it's kind of common sense. If you have other health issues you should obviously talk to your physician and throw that against the wall but I think majority of people can give it a whirl and just but if you're if you second guesses talk with your doctor so what is that program. Is it like once you start is it. You have to just keep doing it. Is it like a man which we know a lot of beauty things right like if you want Bo talks? You're going to have to keep doing botox to keep the wrinkles away if you want those eyelash extensions. You're going to need to keep doing them. The second you're not gonNA have those lashes if you want hair extensions so is this another thing that you're going to sort of add to your beauty toolkit but it's like once you start to commit to it. Yes if you're seeing results from it you definitely want to keep doing so Hair has three cycles. Everybody's familiar with you. Know Antigen intelligent and Cata Jen. So when you're in the resting phase During that phase. That's the time that you want to make sure that you're speeding up that process when that new hair growth is starting to come back in and you also want to keep the hair that you have so you're definitely trading from a clinical approach. She knows that hair follicle and you're waking up and speeding up that rusting cycle where that new hair can come back and through so you're seeing results in your getting hair growth. You definitely want to eat using that. So somebody WHO's been bald for thirty years all the back And that her follicle is no longer producing hair. Are you going to get results from Minoxidil? Maybe not so that definitely you WANNA wake up that hair follicle and you WANNA speed up that process for that new hair to come back through. How do you feel about the the caps or the headbands with the red light therapy? Your what's your what's your take on those those are showing a lot of promise and those also There's lots of before and after she now that are online. So it's one of those things it's like you know what works for one person may not necessarily work for all if you know works for the majority and if it works for you definitely keep doing it. You have to be insisted on that you have to use it. You know. Every single day In addition to the other three sixteen approach that you're doing I personally noticed when I combined all three. Wow it was the trio of fact for

I would've loved a pill for the men most men who would be in a position to have. That problem have told me that I've talked to have told me that they would like for that to be legal now. Thanks, please. Yeah. That would I would love a pill for men earlier this month. She suggested that President Donald Trump supports supporters are child molesters and wife beaters. Why is Trump always PR man for villains? Seventy two year old ask why does he Couto kiss butts of dictators child molesters murderers, wife, beaters anti-semites, white supremacist haters of all skin, not lily white? Just sounds like a politician, frankly, doesn't even sound like sentences Twitter. That's not really sentenced. Okay. So you have the character. Limit the Cucaracha limits twice as much now. So it used to be like one forty four to eighty eight or something when forty to eighty I don't know it's gotten more. Anyway, I just thought it was kind of amusing this screed, and it shows how unglued people have become over this particular president. And I think that this new Muller report has probably sent some of these people. Well, we read we read articles here on the air that there are people who are staying alive to hear the Miller report that they were trying to hold onto life. Itself old people just waiting for the Miller report to come out. So that they could find out the Trump was going to be impeached, and they could die in peace. And what's it like for those people today? Well, they might be dead. They've probably died of disappointment. Like to see the statistics on how many people died shortly after the Buller report was released. There's a lot of diluted individuals that are just hanging on thinking that this report is somehow going to well, there's there's something hidden in here hasn't been released yet. We don't know we don't know it could still happen. That amuses me. I'm I'm not the biggest Trump fan in the world. I didn't vote for Donald Trump is not my guy by any stretch of the imagination, but I'm not gonna get all bent out of shape. It's just amazing to watch my friends, especially on Facebook, just every time. I mean Facebook sitting around long enough that I can see this when Bush is in office, the Democrats are going bananas when Obama's in office. The Republicans are going bananas. Now Trump's in office. Well, frankly, both of them are going bananas. But the half of the Republicans and all the Democrats are just going. Nuts. No, ladies and gentlemen. No, no, ladies and gentlemen. You are not going to see a democrat elected in twenty twenty. That's a prediction, admittedly. It's certainly not gospel truth, but. You know, it takes. So it really takes something for this to occur under. I mean, there's only been very few instances in recent history that somebody didn't get to terms. The one case you had Jimmy Carter. Now, he had a terrible economy. Trump does not have that. And the other case it was George Bush senior and he had a third popular candidate running against him. He had Ross Perot. You're not gonna have at this point. There is no third popular candidate on horizon. The rock Dwayne Johnson is not going to be running as a green party member. That's what it would take to my mind is it would take somebody with name recognition that that would split the Democrats anyway, but well, they would have the first they would they would have to be the only way that Trump's going to lose in twenty twenty is somebody like Dwayne the rock Johnson gets the democratic nod, and he's probably not liberal enough for a lot of Democrats out there. And the funny part is is they've got all these different Liberal Democrats vying for the slot. This is going to be the liberals are really shooting themselves in the foot. And what what I'm saying. The liberals I'm saying that I'm purpose Democrats aren't necessarily liberal, but there's a large powerful contingent of Democrats that are liberal and those people are going to run game. They're going to finally get their candidate in a year that they cannot win making their whole run unimportant. And they're going to you know, that that's going to be used as evidence that they that liberals can't win. Well, you can't win. Anyway, this go round so Bernie running at what is the eighty nine. I have no idea. You know, what that's Elizabeth Warren? The list goes on and on of these highly liberal candidates, and they're not gonna go anywhere now. That's my opinion. Anyway. If you think, you know, something different eight five five four five zero three seven three three. It's eight fifty five four fifty free. I'd love to hear it because I'm certainly not right. All the time. And. I feel bad for these folks in many cases, they really get whipped up. But. Trump isn't going to just go away. As much as you want that to happen, by the way, if he did go away. Then you get Mike Pence is president is that a win. Melanie told me about this this apparently the story that New Zealand had some kind of gun confiscation site, maybe information or something on what to do with your gun, and that it's been taken down because they got too much trouble on it. So after the shooting, which was blamed on the US somehow in New Zealand agai shut up a mosque. And so New Zealand it was like, well, hey, you can turn in your guns. If you once just fill out this form online and tell us, you know, things like how many guys you have what kind. And you know, and we're not gonna confiscate them yet. Maybe, but you know, you you tournament if you want to so a bunch of people. I know that some of them were from the US, but a bunch of people turned in trolling warms because it wasn't like password protected or anything. Go fill out is anyone with internet access could just go fill out one of these house. And so they had that so much that they took down the site. Yeah. I mean, what what are they going to do how they how are they going to prove that somebody filling out the site is from New Zealand, and that's not gonna work. Yeah. So this one guy wanted to turn in his military style semi automatic serial number can't say that on the air the caliber of the firearm it's airplane, so missiles, probably. Firearm accessories. Half a tank of gas flat tire. What? Just saying silly things. And yeah, some bureaucrat has to go through this. And and and look at it all I I was gonna turn into thermonuclear bomb. This is my wife keeps nagging him to get it out of the garage. Well, I mean, you wanna be able to park the car in the garage. I mean, what did you pay for the garage for to store stuff? I don't know what nuclear bombs though for. But I imagine they go for more than a garage is worth think, I suppose, I don't know what you're gonna sell it to someone horrible and evil. I don't know who's willing to pay for it because the government is going to come in and take it. So that's the problem with having a thermonuclear weapon instance w sell it to eight five five four five zero three seven three three.

"So Kate, I have to tell you this next question is very near and dear to my heart. I know I think it's a good one. And I'm I'm really excited to kind of dig into it with you. Let's get into it. I'll start by reading the first part. Do you want to read the second paragraph? It'll be like going around in the classroom, or it's like a Seder or that. We're basically at a Seder. Here's our question. My question has to do with hair loss. I'm thirty six and have been experiencing gradual thinning of my hair for the past five to ten years, but it's really been accelerated after each of my two pregnancies the postpartum hair loss after my second pregnancy is still continuing year after my son was born. I'm starting to get really frustrated and depressed with the situation. It is so hard to see all the strands and the shower and on the bathroom floor every morning, I have tried camouflaging the thinning with topical products. Use special shampoos have had a full battery of tests run to see. Of hormone levels thyroid vitamin levels are low and I'm taking supplements or medication where advised I'm considering trying a product like women's Rogaine to see. If that helps all right, here's partout. My main question, though, is how to deal with the emotional and self esteem impact from hair loss, some mornings as they get ready for work. I just get so upset and depressed than it is hard to get myself out the door. I've a lot going on with two kids under three and a demanding fulltime job. So I don't really have the luxury of wallowing too much. But it really affects my mood and self confidence. Part of me knows that I'm so much more than my hair. And then I shouldn't let my appearance dictate so much of my happiness and feelings of self worth. But it's hard. I don't feel like hair loss is one of those things that is accepted for women to talk about or openly deal with and is just so embarrassing. I don't know how to coach myself through my feelings. I'm starting to just spiral if I dwell on it too much. My husband doesn't know what to say or do to help. Although he always says he quote doesn't notice I'm fairly confident. He is lying. I don't really find. It. Anyone else about it because I'm just so self conscious? Some days. I'm in tears about it. Probably I'm being shallow. But there it is. What advice do you have on how to deal with this? Not sure if Kate had to face this after pregnancy any tips, how do you feel competent and happy with your appearance when dealing with something like this? Oh, I feel for you. This is so hard. This. It is so hard hard, and it is this listeners. Right. Like, it's not a thing. That's talked about for women, and it is a thing women deal with and hopefully we can create a dialogue and other people will weigh in because it's like one of those things that happens to women no one talks about. And so there's this kind of weird suffering in silence experience. I think that comes along with hair loss for women, and that must really really be so hard. And so I just want to say that I'm sending you a big hug and lots of sympathy. Did you have hair loss postpartum I did but I didn't have a thinning effect? I did have a ton of haircut out. And and in addition to it it feeling weird because Harris thinning it also is very jarring because hair's kind of coming out in clumps, especially in the shower. So I did experience a real thinning of my hair? But not in a way that I felt that it was visibly noticeable. Right. I think. Think that's part of the challenge that this listener is describe it grow back it did. But I think what happens is your hair gets very thick because of all the hormones juice up your body when you're pregnant, right? So you get this like luscious fake. Yeah. This new main? And then all of a sudden it, and my hair changed texture and changed kind of shape actually after having children. So it's a whole it was a whole journey. But I'm I'm I don't know if I have an answer for this listener because I do think you're in the shitty position of like. Yeah, we like we know like ourselves esteem is not based on our looks..

"The governor of war the boys who were dan badly damp patrick show and the defense you know what's interesting about bigger may builds beggar may build tonight heisman trophy winner quarterback twotime walk on right walked on it texas tech walked on in oklahoma won the job at both places has not lost a true rogaine in his colleague in his oklahoma career has lost charogi now this is that a road game this is a neutral site game and when oklahoma was last in the cultural while playoff frankly he forced it and look i know people want him to be they wanted to be russell wilson he's not they want him to be drew brees he's not uh there are some similarities air to johnny mans l same offense i don't think he's nearly the problem off the field i don't think he's surrounded himself with the type of sycophants that the johnny did with johnny's family in israel buddies or whatever like my friends at at oklahoma tell me like he's a good due to everybody likes to play four whereas when when johnny manziel is at nm that wasn't what i heard from people round the ain program nonetheless this is we do make judgments let what scouts say like now now we don't make judgements based upon you know one college ballgame like look if he lights up georgia and lights up alabama or clemson i think that sedudu who's gonna look like a firstround traffic and if he doesn't if he's bad night or these just okay and they win and then he's bad against clemson alabama i think people like they'll start to go back to the he's small you know there's been there's like two quarterbacks from the big spread era quarterbacks in the big 12 at have done a andy dalton and sam bradford right that's that's it those the the big twelve spread era quarterbacks that are currently in the nfl bradford's career i think is actually he's actually way better than people perceive mailsail the in an anti downs been fine fine per second round pick okay pretty good but we know.

"He accused skinheads than free rogaine people marquee and sue them cancer talk like a sign language guerrilla who got hit in the head in fact the only thing your mouth is good for is being putin's ulster wow you it's amazing that he could even get away with saying this i mean for one thing stephen colbert is just not funny and all give him props i mean i guess he has a certain style about him but the materials week it's a lane he's not funny and could you imagine and i know if you could really understand what he said but the word he used i can't say on the air but it basically implicates that trump's mouth would be a private parts holster for vladimir putin that's kind of what what he's basically alluding to can you imagine if he would have said something like this about president obama how much backlash would there be with this guy even have a job the next day if he said something like that so it it definitely illustrates to me that there doesn't seem to be any line that the left has a hard time crossing moron number nine that'd would be the academy awards of this year's oscar ceremony was even more embarrassing than usual when warren beatty and faye dunaway announced that the winner of the best picture was la la land when it was actually moonlight you are they conclude economy thank you too lionsgate thank you to our incredible cast and crew were all up here right now you pick this off in damian chazelle we're sitting on your shoulders we lost by the way did i i'm sorry state this there's a mistake you guys one best picture come on israel joke i'm afraid they read the wrong thing this is not a joke moonlight is one best picture life pictures this was an absolute complete train wreck anaconda serves and right i think that i think trump's comment and i'm paraphrasing with some of the effective spent less time bashing me and more time on figuring out the envelopes maybe these going to disasters wouldn't happen i thought it was hilarious the look on jimmy kimmel's face for anybody to watch this thing was priceless jimmy kimmel is big fat dope in my opinion and he was actually the host of the awards show this thing was just it was an absolute mess and it serves them right it serves them right.

"Mistakes both offense plan defense in has the season goes on hopefully can eliminate more more those and keep getting better and you know some of it it like i always tell her guys it's numbers good you think it's never as bad as you think and when you watch the tape is probably somewhere in between there where we have great effort in were were rebound in the ball and a high level which eliminates a lot of teams second chance points and that's how you know a lot of baskets your scored early in the year where you know two mistakes are made but the teams good enough to get another chance and then they score and now we're just eliminating all of those and we have to do that tonight that's a big key to tonight's game is be naval eliminate those rebounds because this is an app lennick team we play and they're gonna come flying in their to get the boards and if we can block them out you know then they're going to just go tip dunk in on us and that's to automatic points i would think also rebounding helps your offense to because if you want to run in you like to run the quickest way to do that is to get the rebound to come up the other wet well you have to be m two in and that's what and then you've got to be willing to run really hard downhill and and then what that does is that can as a cumulative effect he look at ireland noise state game where we rebounding really well and running it really well by the end of the game they stopped go into the offensive glass because they knew they had to get back and and and try to deal with us and so you know those things are all connected in and we you know obviously we have to elevated tonight and keep getting better because tonight we face the challenge of some really really highlevel athletes we're going to ask is this the biggest challenge you played a good schedule so far but the fact that this is the first crew rogaine that make this the biggest challenge in the fact that they've won forty six in a row here she that's quite a number forty six in a row and and no question an an absolutely 'cause it you know you've been around to these games that are on the road and ferry it does present its own challenge in each team's new and each team as to.

"Rogaine the spirit of what they're doing defensively and then the bottom falls out of them if they are platense tim it would seem presi trade carmelo or paul george if they're hovering around five hundred and he looks at the situation and says look we're not obviously titlecontenders this year were obviously not going to take down huston her golden state rather get something then get nothing at the trade deadline oh that's a good question i sam sam is always a guy who's going to look at things uh rationally um i think that would probably come down to whether he felt that was unfair to ross um especially now that russia signed the extension um i mean i i think if i think i think if it was up to sam i think he probably would if things were going that badly um but i but i also could see them saying hey if we get in the playoffs anything right and we as they showed plane against the warriors the other day like we can we could play with anybody and if we just did in if we're not the heat seed we can make the cops violence which i don't i don't think is is really a crazy thought either so to me it would have to go really sideways for him to think about trained boss brace it goes i still think like from what i understand like paul's been happy there and i think i think they they think they have a decent chance to show him make to be go to keep him longterm um but yeah i i guess to like i i just to me westbrook is just the next version of kobe bryant and just that that's what were at like this guy that nobody can rarely agree i'm he is or who he is and and it just is this guy that you know there's people on one side and people on the other side and that's it that's just kinda where we're at and kobe always had a championship in his pocket eight which day rust does not that's that that's that separator on.
