"So you were a mechanic for this kid. Yup yup i was pretty much just like day-to-day stuff oil filters yuck tires chain. Sprocket s- If suspension or engine needed don. I would just take it off. Give to the team or whatnot but yeah pretty much everything else. I i did. Okay so yes you're actually pretty handy. I'm like a lot of racers. You pretty handy. Whenever i That's kinda part of privateer. I guess you know you kinda gotta do it yourself. Because but i i don't mind i enjoy it. Can you do clutches. yes again all right. good night. I just did one before. Millville nice hey when you pull off after that first moto what was it like. What was your friends and family. What was it was pretty gnarly where they freaking out. It was it was insane like my dad actually came over and was like. Hey why don't you go in the trailer. Just calm down a little bit before the second really yeah. It was Every time someone would like get back to the pits everybody. Would you start freaking out again. So it was. It was just like a constant constant party. Almost just everybody you know gone crazy and then people people would stop by on the road outside of the pits and was like yellen over right right. That's that's cool. yeah. Did you see these news on some of these guys. Yes so. I'm like a year two older than a couple of them but we usually you know if we didn't raise together we saw each other hung out. You know in between motos or at the end of the day on saturday after practice locally but and then once you know once we all turn a and pro than obviously we raise together. Don't pro-am stuff so so we we've known each other for a while and then Rodbell on step pick. I ride a good bit with like during the week. Next thing i know i'm having to tear this fucking motor race bike apart and shoved in the back of a backup. It's yeah chevrolet car. He's got most of the bike in there. It's hanging out. "I believe your money in your hard work and the sweat of your labor belongs to you. I believe in taking care of my community and the people around me. My society, my neighborhood. I don't believe in government theft. I believe that just like we talked about teachers, it would be best if they understood that the entirety of education exists due to the excesses of capitalism. It wasn't for people going out there and making a living, creating things. There would be no teachers. There would be no schools. That's why you exist. Not that you're not people, but that's why the job exists. How else could it possibly be paid for? If you had a society that was this whole socialist rigmarole garbage trash society. An argument about my father uses very often if the society was 100 people. And of the 100 People. 50 people worked at the hospital and 50 people were in the hospital's patients who pays the electric bill. Now. I'm telling you, that's heavy. It was far heavier when I was 13. I grew up differently than other people. I I understand this all too well. But that's the problem. How in the world is that society worked. Have teachers never ask themselves that the teachers unions never ask themselves. How does this work? You work because people who create things go out there and put those things they've created into the marketplace and the excesses or what allows that school to run that isn't saying that we don't have a value on education. It's about how do you pay for that education? Because if we didn't do that, we have the one room school house and people would volunteer what education would stop. Like when people say, you know, without governments who wouldn't have roads? What you talking crazy? You mean the people in this town wouldn't figure out how to build a road to people to trade with the people in the next town? They couldn't have done that without some centralized authority. Is everybody criminally insane. These are the great lies that are told again and again and again. I'm a capitalist. But if you think it's okay So have your lead actress supporting police abuse. You're weird. Have you think it's okay? Teo Teo play holster to China. Not wanting to insult them. For all the fine work they did in areas that are holding weaker Muslims as prisoners as captives as slaves. There's something wrong with you. There's something wrong with Disney. That's just it. So this boycott Yeah. Yeah, These are people who don't understand the very, very thoughts and theories and Recognition of freedom. Help. I read the story. Producer, Ari sent me the story. And I said to myself, when did Senator Ben Sasse start listening to the show? Senator from Nebraska. Call to repeal the 17th amendment of the United States. What is the 17th amendment? To the U. S Constitution. I'm so glad that you asked. It was a Wall Street journal Op Ed called to make the Senate great again. The 17th amendment. The Senate of the United States shall be shall be composed of two senators from each state elected by the people thereof for six years, and each senator shall have one vote. The electors in each state solve the qualifications requisite for electors of the most numerous branch. Of the state legislatures. Now this Right here. 17th amendment. Change the way We get senators because it used to be that senators. Were selected by state legislatures. By this amendment, the 17th amendment becoming part of the Constitution of eight in April, 1913. This said that senators are elected by popular vote. Three things happened in 1913 that a worthy of consideration the direct election of senators. A Fed The income tax. These three things. Lead to what I refer to as the tilt of America If you want to argue what started America on a slide What started America towards not being this truly free place. It is these things right here. The federal income tax, which I argue, has never done an ounce of good except divide people. That's all it's ever done. It's been used as a cudgel against the people. The Fed, which has not the Fed was going to put an end to wild swings in the markets. You think it's done its job? I rest my case, and then the direct election of senators. Senators who are not there to actually represent the state's interests. Ben Sasse called for an end to the amendment. And he wants to create other changes aimed at promoting debate, not ending it. His recommendations. Abolish standing committees require senators to show up for debates implement 12 year term limits meaning to terms right? That's what I mean. Right? Two terms of Senate term six years actually means And requiring senators to live together in dorms when in Washington Huh? Right? Because people don't think of DC enough is a frat house. What would the Founding fathers think of America if they came back to life, SAS wrote. Their eyes would surely bug out first in our technology and wealth, But I suspected also be stunned by the deformed structure of our government. The Congress, the envisioned is all but dead. The Senate in particular is supposed to be the place where Americans hammer out our biggest challenges with debate. That hasn't happened for decades, and the rot is bipartisan. Now I don't know how you get people to live in dorms. I don't know. I don't know how that part goes. But putting an end to the 17th amendment. Ah, hell yes. Where do I sign? Am I worried about corruption? Well, there's not direct elections couldn't hypothetically there could be bribery in terms of getting people on the Senate. Well, if the question is, could the state legislatures be bribed to then put people in the Senate? I guess it's possible but you now have an unbelievable recourse to voting. Your legislator out. There's always a recourse to the thing where you're talking about his criminal activity. My gosh, Rodbell Goya, vich tried to sell a Senate seat. It is true. So there's always the possibility of corrupt people trying to do corrupt things. I favor the opportunity for the people to be able to correct things. I think you should have the ability to recall your mayor. I think you should have the ability to recall your governor. I don't think it should be done for light and transient causes. I think there should be a serious system a place that's not necessarily easy. But if people are willing to do the work, they should be able to do so. They should be able to say Holy crap. We made a mistake. Impeachment is about the representatives saying, Hey, this ain't gonna work. You've got a problem. This can't be the way it is. My issue is not with the concept of impeachment. My issue is with what happened to President Trump that it was just garbage that they moved. Impeachment on No, I like this. From Ben Sasse. The dorm thing is really weird. And I don't think you force somebody to live in a dorm. I think that's very Very, very, very awkward. I don't think that does anything. But if you're looking for something that you could peel off there and keep the rest. That's the one sir. That's what recompense has never been on the show. It's a good question. We've reached out right many times. Are you telling me that Ben Sass is people sent assassins? People won't let him be on the show. I'm telling you, they haven't responded to me. Senator Sasse is team has not responded to this show. No..

"There are a few things worse. And a long, slow, painful unravelling of a season and we're staring it straight the face tonight I started jotting down as Thegame was unfolding the most disappointing red seasons of my lifetime. And I came up with four. I'm not ready to rank them in order, but these would be the four. Maybe this is a topic for tomorrow night. When we have more time I came up with the four most disappointing red seasons of my lifetime for various reasons in which I'll explain I go 1977. Because, as an 11 year old, I was thinking the Reds would always win the World Series because they'd want it when I was nine, and they wanted again when I was 10 with one of the greatest teams argue Bill in the history the game in 1975 76. Then they ripped the heart and soul out of the team by trading Tony Perez. And then they they brought hope in a trade for Tom Seaver. And yet they wound up 10 games out of first place that season in 1977. That would be one of the foremost disappointing Brid seasons of my lifetime and that skewed to my youth. I would add the 1981 season wherein the infinite wisdom of Major League baseball. They decided to around the strike split the season in half and have teams have finished in first in the first half, make the playoffs and teams of finishing first in the second half make the playoffs and the Reds wound up with the best record in all of baseball. And yet didn't win. The first half didn't win. The second half did not make the playoffs. That will be the second most disappointing red season of my lifetime number three. I would put the 2000 season. Because think of what that season broad. It was coming off of a 99 wins season, the hype and the excitement and just how much we grew to embrace that 99 team the element of coming out of nowhere. Nobody had any reason to believe that 99 season was going to unfold with a great group of likeable young players with a mix of some wily veterans. There were career years splashed in. There was Sean Casey, There was Pokey Reese. It was Eddie top and see. There was Barry Larkin. There was Jeffrey Hammonds. There was a Steve Parisa Rodbell owed a Scott Williams said. They all came together to engineer a magical summer of 96 wins. Oh, and yes, there was the heartbreak of al lighter, but with 2000 rolled around, they had added Ken Griffey Jr and you're thinking 96 wins from that that team, they added a guy who is arguably the greatest player and then that we've seen And we know what happened. That would be three teams and I would add this team The 2020 Cincinnati Reds, $160 million of hype and hoopla and excitement in the off season they bring in their first Japanese player of all time, the major League baseball world of the media's buzzing. Wait a minute. Look what the Reds were doing. Who are these guys? $166 million. These aren't your father's reds, and they brought in show go, and they brought in Mike. Caucus and they brought in Nick Castillo Otto said. They brought it Wade Miley, and they were all grinders. They were all winners. They were all guys who would help set a tone for a new era of rates. Baseball. And that team is 11 and 17. Worse at this point than last year's team after 28 games. 11 17, losers of four straight five of 66 of eight and eight of 11. I don't know where to begin. Do we begin talking about? I think we'll spend some time in which we had a full show tonight on Freddy Galvis and what he did Never seen it happen in my life. I'll be 54 of the end of the week. I've never seen that happen before. I don't understand how it happened. I think we need to talk about Joey Votto. I wondered on Twitter and I'm not being mean. I'm asking a serious question Was that the worst regular season performance in the history of Joey Vados career? He struck out four times, three looking one of those with the bases loaded and committed an error. Five b a worth regular season game in the history. Joey Votto his career. And the error. Holy cow! What you raise this observation from the cowboy. You're not having a good night. Here's Jeff Brantley on the prospects of replacing Joey Votto defensively at first base. I'm wondering if David Bill has given any thought to.

Cincinnati Reds Joey Votto baseball Major League David Bill Thegame Tom Seaver Tony Perez Jeffrey Hammonds Barry Larkin Joey Vados Ken Griffey Jeff Brantley Sean Casey Twitter Wade Miley engineer Freddy Galvis Pokey Reese Steve Parisa Rodbell
