"Him um and he said to me when he said you know when i was at the cia i did not do what i should have done to fix that agency and he said um you know i uh and he regret and he said and then he turned to me and like looked me down in the eye and he said the entire upper hedge line of that agency is made up of individuals who do not believe even the democratic institutions of the united states of america that's a quote i have no reason to disbelieve what bobby kennedy say folks the state the police state israel someone asked me on face book nicely and respectfully so and i appreciate your comments said he dan please stop using the term police state there are good police officers out there sir jay comments a lot please don't take this is adversarial but this is what we are living in right now we are living in a police state that is using police like powers to suppress their political opponents there is no other way to describe it i don't want to play fancy word games or euphemisms games this is what's understood throughout human history to be what happens when people who carry guns and badges and arrest authority are used as political operatives by higher -ups above them we are in an extremely dangerous spot right now and if what RFK is saying is true that we have people at upper the echelons of the most powerful intelligence gathering agency on earth CIA that don't believe in what the constitutional republic stands for and democracy and we've got huge enormous problems one of the reasons I played that is after having written multiple books on the plot to take down donald trump I have no reason to believe he's lying let me address one last thing it happened yesterday addressed it on the s a little bit you know folks one of the things I've been going through for a long time is being kind of a public figure in the movement something I didn't ask for I ran for office I didn't I never thought I'd be radio a guy I mean I was an agent I was a secret service agent ran for politics and lost I mean this wasn't in my career I had moved on I was doing some consulting some business stuff I was doing some investing some financial stuff I never planned on being a radio guy or a podcast guy it just happened I read an article one day about how podcasting was the future that was nine years ago and I and I started a podcast never realizing it was going to become the behemoth it became and that led to this on the radio one of the things I want to warn you about if you're an activist you want to be politician I don't mean want to be in a bad way I literally mean you want to be a politician an activist you want to be a radio host the tv host you want to do a podcast you want to start writing in conservative outlets remember what I'm about to tell because you you'll see it as soon as you garner a following the most destructive things that are going happen to you in your career if you're doing the right thing if you're doing the wrong thing you deserve to be exposed but if you're doing the right are not going to come from the left they're easy to deal with folks they're so predictable it's pathetic I'm serious they're morons they really are they're just swat them off like flies they're dumb now that they can be tactical about how they do they've things but never been argued with their entire lives they're easy to break down most of the damage it's going to be done is going to be done to you from a group of people who pretend to be conservatives on social media outlets I swear it's like a bot army of leftist you'll see what I mean when you get there they want nothing more than to find a conspiracy around every corner that they expose to their fake followers it happens all the time whether how a song went viral or whatever they don't want you wasting time on important things like dismantling the police state they want to get you caught up in these little like conspiracies they found around every corner you just got to ignore it and plow ahead now when get you to thankfully where I am or have a big enough voice now and a big enough platform I choose not to because I choose to expose these people but you'll see what I mean if you ever get a following in this movement and if you've been following me on social media you know exactly what I'm talking about all right I think your calls coming up next 844 384 3872 "I was talking about the media and they're ignoring the stories. I'll give you a perfect example. On April 26, Ms. Rodas gave sworn testimony. I've used this many times. 85,000 children have crossed the border and disappeared. That's sworn testimony. That's also evidence that has been submitted. I talked to Tim and he says it's actually much bigger than this. But anyway, I think that's newsworthy. The next day in the news, nothing. Absolutely nothing. But we've seen this over and over again in the media. You said ivermectin is bad. That's listed under the NIH. Hydroxychloroquine is bad for us. That's listed under the NIH. Adrenochrome, that's not true. It's C9H9NO3. This is a chemical compound that is absolutely listed. It's been around in modern science since the 1930s. There's a synthetic form and there's a regular natural form, which is caused by torturing little kids. To get their adrenaline up, essentially. And then extracting it from them. When you sit and me and so I brought this up a few years ago and all of a sudden I was attacked by every media. Look it up. It's there. They absolutely went after me. And the next day, I never heard from my agents, my agency for 14 months. My lawyers let me go. My agency never called me after that. And essentially it was done. And so when we go and do movies like this, you spend a great deal of time with agents working with them. I didn't realize the connection though to my industry and to Epstein Island and all of that. But obviously there is. And I couldn't sleep for two years after doing that movie. Two years in the middle of the night, horrible nightmares. Something hard that happens to you in your life, you can either fade away or turn and fight. And I've decided to fight back. Because those precious children are God and I give my life for God. I'm talking about the Jesus Christ God. Okay, the QAnon stuff, Jim's QAnon. Well, let's look into that because that could be really evil. Somewhere in Congress, they said QAnon is racist. Okay, we don't like that, right? But so is the Ku Klux Klan. And that's another letter. It's a K. We don't like the letter Q. We don't like the letter K. But they don't go after the letter K. I started looking into Senator Byrd. And he was a grand wizard. Hillary Clinton's tied to him. And Joe Biden's tied to him. Understand, this is the Ku Klux Klan now. And there is a lot of data that can prove that the Ku Klux Klan is an evil organization. And so are the Nazis. One could say that they're also racist. But they don't go after those. Only the QAnon. Now, by way of analogy, if I were the apostle Saul and I'm a Pharisee, I'm going to go after the Christians. I'm going to take them down. Now, remove Christians and let's make it QAnon. I'm going to destroy them because the Romans told me they're evil. I'm going to destroy them because my own church staff, my Pharisee, fellow Pharisees said evil. I'm going to take them out. And then you find out it's not QAnon. It's Q and Anons. And Q puts out a question. And you're not allowed to ask questions anymore. Not allowed to. And the Anons, they look it all up. And they start looking and investigating this stuff. I never knew about them. While I was doing this movie, Sound of Freedom has nothing to do with our film. But it's really interesting that they pointed to this immediately and said, that guy is one of them. He's bad. I'll tell you the rest after that. Jim, we have to have you back soon. I'm sorry. We're out of time. Angel.com slash Jim. Jim, thank you for your courage and your willingness to speak out. You are in the middle of the spiritual war and we're praying for you. And keep your spiritual disciplines on the top of your list because the enemy is not happy with what you're exposing. Jim, thank you so much. Hey, everybody. Charlie Kirk here. "They're they're building over there so it's safe to say that you are bullish on narrative audio rea-. Okay so i think you also influence the decision on some some content. Would that be true. Yeah we have a head of development but certainly a member of the team is thinking about what we should be building next okay and so when you and the team are deciding on that content. Do you do it with an eye to the long tail. Hell well we'll get monetize and will it play in peoria and across other platforms. Well certainly yes. Consideration we wanna tell amazing original stories that their audiences for that can be really nation. Specific content in different verticals we. We actually are building content. That's you know all different genres sci-fi through even female radico like our show with demi moore called dirty diana so we think broadly about the different interest areas consumers have and then when it comes to things like rodas in tv and film. That's definitely a consideration though. We are primarily focused to ensure that the podcast that we make is gonna work on its own and we turned down projects. That won't work as a podcast. So we do you think about the holistic view of the stories in the content. That's being told. Oh got it. So the pitch to q code to develop a product is It's not just you developing and finding the product. But it's also those coming to you and you're looking at it through those lens. I of will play as podcast. Yeah yeah one hundred percent and point out like the projects that key code developed some of them come in as original podcast ideas others actually came from different forms of media to begin with so the left right game for example was a viral. Reddit thread that we developed as a podcast and is now in development with amazon and we have other projects as well like dirty. Diana came as a book so sometimes the idea for podcast actually originates in another media. Type end becomes a podcast and then can go be that other rita type as well great. I knew you'd buffer a good base for us. I i wanna do something. That's common in marketing podcasts. I want to give props through cross promotion to atlanta. I encourage the audience to find that. Episode with steve wilson on atlanta. And in it the hosts quoted malcolm glad well who said we think with our eyes and feel with our ears is that also how q code approaches projects i think. So course malcolm god. Wells is a brilliant person to to quote and put things so we definitely take a lot of pride in how we put our projects together. So q code You know really one of our. You know television sets in. Ctr's through in four k hdr. We're seeing that same increase in audio quality and we make that a core part of the project. Sweet may excellent. I love that. Thank you for being our first mini episode. You are second mini. Episode is glenn teague will williams and she is someone who has a long tenure in audio coming from npr and sink jamaica. "Nazi family and what sixty years later. It's still with them. I'm rick steves. This is travel with rick. Steves we're talking with jennifer wilson. And she's written a book called running away to home our family's journey from iowa to croatia jennifer living there in this little village of eight hundred people you must have had an intimate look at just the structure of society. What was your take on on a woman's place in croatian small town society you know i was a little intimidated at first. They weren't a lot of women in the bar. Which is where. I went when i first scouted the place and i was there loan. I was sort of seen as an oddity and eventually i was of teased a little bit for being so independent of my husband's life. You know traveling alone. And also when jim was there with me. They couldn't believe that. Jim was staying home with the kids while i was doing my research. In fact there's a whole chapter in the book that sort of talks about how everybody thought. Jim was living the life of a croatian woman but in terms of the older people in the village they had such a vigorous life that it really is something that we should shoot for more here. I mean the neighbor guy who was well into his eighties. Used to dig our car out when we were stuck in the snow when we would visit. And everybody's still had a job and ran their farm no matter how old they were in his results. I mean everyone. There were tons of people who were well into their eighty s who were still quite vital. I get the sense that the seniors would pass on skills to the younger generation. It's just. That's the feeling i get when i look at the photograph in your book of the old woman with your family out foraging. It looks like well. They certainly did to me. They kept reminding each other my to find you used to tell me they kept reminding each other. We're all that she has so each of them would teach me something different. I learned how to make different recipes from back on zora showed me where the old foundation of our family home was. They wanted me to come back so they could teach me how to knit with five needles. The women sort of passed down to me. The things that my grandmother might have taught me including the herbs in the field. In what we could harvest and drink is t- it was the most touching and important part of that trip for me as a woman Separate from my family's journey one of the things about that village rick. It was crazy. They would tell us everything i mean. I knew who was having problems with this woman. I knew who was messing around with who they would. Just talk about these things openly. They told me about their world. War two stories and these awful things that had happened during the yugoslavian wars. But when i asked them for the village recipe for rocky ah new doors. Shut well. But they share it with you. They would share it in copious amounts. The old woman in the morning made sure we had a shot every morning about nine thirty on my way back from my morning. Run shot of rocky at nine thirty in the morning. The old ladies and i turned out to be a morning drinker. I don't like drinking at night. But wow that was kind of nice to start my day with a little buzz. Like makes a woman more laid back. That's for sure what is rookie. I mean is it a drink. No it's not. It's boiled from plums. Usually firewater right right and i didn't really go out to bars at night so much. It wasn't really might thing. But you know i love sitting around with old ladies in the morning and just doing a shot of something strong and they always told me. It was helped my digestion. And then they'd talk. Would that be a lubricant. And they'd tell you stories. Yeah yeah it was some of the most pleasurable times in my life sitting around the table and listening to these old women. They were very physically demonstrative. They would rub my arm. Non treated me like a great granddaughter. It was it was quite a gift to talk about. The old woman liked to talk about how little i knew that was one thing that they really enjoyed. They like to talk about the tease in the meadow. There they were having me on a steady diet drinking travel which turned out to be saint. John's work because it was such a wreck. When i first got there. We're talking teas that were made of the surrounding meadows from flowers in the meadows. Yep so they are experts at this. They were absolute medicinal experts. There was not one ailment that we had in pie. Of course it was all minor travel stuff. Colds flu whatever that they weren't ready with boiled pine needles in a sap for us or something to that effect. The old ladies had folk remedies for whatever your family and did our first neighbors. That was the phrase in the village for your best neighbors. The ones who you trust the most our first neighbors mario in yazmin took us to the secret bowl in the mountains. That on like a one week period of time. In the fall cranberries and blueberries fruited at the same time in the same foliage and everybody was just laying on the side of this hill just picking berries and putting it into cups and eaten berries and just kind of this big local laid back party out there and and i just remember looking around this heath of purple and red and thinking. There's really nothing more beautiful than this moment in all the travels i've ever made. Whoa a croatian. Utopia suits that one week when he put the secret bowl in the mountain. Berries are ripe at the same time right and there actually an old fellow that came over and asked mario in yards minka. Why we were there in kind of grousing that listen. There's only so many we don't want everybody to know about this. And mario explained to them that that we were family. I was gonna say it sounds like you were not just considered newcomers but you were part of the family. It really felt that way. I mean i was going there seeking my immediate family's connection i was also seeking a little bit more connection to my own family. I talk in the book. A bit about how My own relationship with my mother is a little tentative. And i was looking for my grandmother. Who was croatian. She had a very heavy croatian. And i did know her. I was kind of looking for some comfort from her in these unstable times. I guess and i think everybody you were not really having the fulfilling close relationship with your actual mother and you found your great grandmother and you got that from her. My my mother's mother grandma kate. She was the daughter of the people who were from mirka pie. And she and i connected. We absolutely were inseparable as grandmother and granddaughter and when she passed away that was when i started kind of becoming interested in the place where her parents were from. The last of immigrant relatives died sister. Mary polera dosage and the nuns gave me her personal papers. That talked about mirka pie. croatia. I got those papers at the exact time that i started just feeling really restless and jim was unhappy in his job. Had one of those he had one of those awful jobs where you have to ask permission to have a day off to go to the dentist or prove you're and we just started thinking what if we just took a break and and to me. I was thinking what if i just got to see my grandma a long time and it was amazing. How the village recognized that need in us and you know as americans. I think a lot of time travel and feel like we're superior somehow like we're going to visit these smaller countries from very big country. We're a superpower. But they felt sorry for us. I've found that repeatedly. They couldn't believe that. I was coming there to find out who my great grandparents were. Who doesn't know their great grandparents. You know It was fascinating that they really felt bad for us. I mean they don't have any malls they don't have any good sushi joint but but they knew who they were and there was no doubt about that and they saw in me especially that i just wasn't sure and you know i had not travelled like that before i did when i was in college. I was backpacking. But i was from a very small town in iowa and it was my sister. Paula rodas which the last of the immigrant relatives. Who told me you must travel. You must get outside of this small town. And so i just i hit the road and i just went to learn things. I went to look in the loop. Because i wanted to know what everybody else saw that. Sort of thing It was a very cursory trip but this travel with my family gave me such unique entry into a culture that you never would have gotten in any other circumstance. I really felt like it was the first time that i had truly traveled. Because when you're a travel writer you have a guide or a fixer. Who tells you try this. Try that and they hide everything from you. You know because you want to have a little happy travel story. That will end up in a travel magazine. And that's why everybody feels like they fail when they read travel stories in their trip didn't turn out like it didn't the magazine but this was and i was committed to writing everything in between and i don't look great a lot of times in this book because i talk about how i was uncomfortable. We don't always look perfect. The village doesn't always look perfect. But it truly was this immersion into another world that we loved as a family and and me as a traveler. I think i really learned how to get outside.

But, you know, Donald, I'll ask you You ever clean the condenser underneath your refrigerator? No. How's that for quick enough answer. That was a very quick and honest answer. And like 89% of the American population. Has no knowledge of how important that condenser is to their pocketbook. Really their pocketbook. You're gonna add years of life. I talk about the condenser as a dirty disease bearing Part of the refrigerator, and that's what makes it so interesting to those folks out there who do clean. They're condensers who can pass on the word to others and say Yet Joe's Gannon's newsletter because he just reveals a whole bunch of information that has never written anywhere. You don't see consumer agencies of any kind. Talking about the dirt underneath a refrigerator and how the deadly bacteria that's in the drain, baby. You want to read it? Okay, yet better get the newsletter. And that's it for me right now, Donald, would you be willing to help out an email or that Rodas named Tom from Farmington Hills? Yo, and this is regarding draining a brand new hot water tank, and he has three questions. One Should he turn down or off the gas? Before he starts draining this hot water? Take his thought would be to turn it down the night before, so the water is cool, or rather than turning it off and having to restart it and then drain it in the morning, too. Should he turn off the water input valve going into the tank before he starts and open it back up after he's done draining the tank and three is draining three buckets of water adequate. He's gotta just well, you know, he's got a nail Smith. Thank 15 months old, and I just wondered if you could answer Maybe some of those questions, if not all, well, dying. Now is the time to do it while it's still new, and you don't let the contaminants the minerals in the water build up. Because all you have to do is take a little piece of hose. It's got a female and on it screwed onto the cap line on the bottom of the hot water tank, And yet, like three buckets of water, that's good. Train three buckets, So put it in the drain like my drain. I is next to the hot water heater. I just hook up with a little piece of hose 45 ft. Long. And hook it up and drain it right into the drain on the floor. That's all you have to do. You don't have to shut it off, and I shut off the gas and all of that stuff just important that if you want to keep that tank clean, add years of life to it. When you get a new hot water tank, you make a habit. Like I do mind every for months, and you make a habit of draining it, and it keeps the tank bottom clean. And here's the biggest complaint consumers have about hot water tank. They make all sorts of crackling popping noises when they get older. Well, That's because there's enough mineral deposit inside the tank to have a deposit of 4 to 6 inches off deposit, which turns to a rock shale. And, uh, when the water and when they're heater comes on in the flame comes on. You gotta heat the water on the very bottom and the boiling water that your heating is going through this rock shale and its profit making noise is nothing to be concerned about. Biggest concern with the hot water tank is when you have water dripping on the floor from the bottom of the tank that gives you an indicator. Hey, there's a hole in here. That the whole is only going to get bigger. Now is the time to react Not after the whole pops open and you've got water porn all over the place and the drain on the floor gets plugged up with a piece of paper something and then you got a flood and then you've got all the products around the hot water tank, which will be destroyed by the water react. And that's why we've got a great advertisers. Thorton and grooms who's a heating contractor, plumbing and as well as the air conditioning, and they install hot water tanks, like nobody's business. Okay. Good job. All right. Give us a call. Dear Listener, we're ready to take it. Get back to our phones. 808 590.
