"He completed less than sixty percent of his twenty. One passes for a pretty darn meager one hundred thirteen yards also through what kisla described as a mindless interception providing. Another hunting sense of deja vu from twenty twenty qb rating fifty two point three pretty much a failing grade even for a backup without the benefit of work with the first team offense during practice. We can't bronco's coach vic fangio said in the post mortem. We can't have a hangover from this game but some san we certainly do don't we but again i ask you. Is it time to throw in the proverbial tau tau or. Was it just a bad day for the denver broncos. I'm still on the bandwagon about you now. By the way ravens defense had five sacks both broncos and the ravens are three and one although yeah denver's wins against the one in three giants the zip and for jaguars and the one and three jets. Ravens have a win against the kansas city chiefs. Now here this actually for me added insult to injury. Was this an in your face. Move or what and it pretty much. Irked the broncos. So what harbaugh do well. He preserved the ravens. One hundred yard rushing straight by running jackson instead of quarterback jackson instead of taking a knee with seconds remaining the game and the game was well to say well cited would be a bit of understatement right. So you had jackson running for five yards on that final. Play giving the ravens. One hundred thirteen yards rushing extending their one hundred yards street to forty three games. Which by the way tied the record set by the great nine thousand nine hundred. Seventy four seventy seven pittsburgh steelers teams of rocky bleier and franco harris. It was kinda rude and unnecessary. It even surprised to jackson. He said afterward. I thought he was going to ask me to take a knee referring to harbaugh. But he didn't stop there. I didn't know what he was thinking. Jackson said the game was put away. Not the most sportsmanlike decision. Wouldn't you agree and broncos players fans alight pretty much livid about this in your face type of maneuver as they walked into the postseason locker room now again. As mentioned sunday broncos will play pittsburgh. Where big ben rothlisberger and steelers struggling struggling with one. Three record and there is hope hope springs that bridgewater will be able to play but doctors never liked to predict the recovery of concussions. Because no two are. The same protocols are in place it will be up to an independent neurologists to clear bridgewater for the plane trip to pittsburgh. So let's hope that Teddy is able to reignite the broncos fire and get them back on track but both the offense and the defense struggled yesterday south. It's just not that simple is it. But are you bailing on the broncos. You tell me triple eight five. Three zero zero forty three. Meanwhile some fireworks. The celestial type brought Some smiles to some faces source of happy for.

"With both of them but shannon quickly. I hear what you're saying about. Doc am beating their comments. And i get where biz from and also i think he's bothered that they put him in the trade for james heart. Thank you last season yet. Remembers that right. That's the problem with a trade doesn't go through but it gets public. You're in trouble with that player. That said i do want been to look in the mirror though. Yes the way. He's acting speaks of victim cart. He's not a victim. I get it. They did him wrong here and there but he's got a look in the mirror. Say i did shoot thirty four percent from the foul line in the playoffs. I have not after four years of playing basketball in this league. I still won't take jump shots. Like i want him to look in the mirror and do and understand that like magic. Did after the tragic. Johnson finals in eighty four like michael. When he said i gotta get in the weight room against detroit in the play. Offs like lebron did in after the or the two thousand eleven series with dallas. Guys were better than vincent and they still looked into. I gotta be a better player. Guess and i think been looking at everybody else. Is that a looking at himself as their. You know what i like with dr. I can't argue with that. I read this point. I've gotta go prove him wrong. And so i would like to see a little more. That from similar out with us is well. Guess what it was doing what he was supposed to be if he was the player that everybody projected him to be his name would have never came up for james harden like face. I'm not trading the guy that's giving me twenty two ten and fix is dead. He's give us fourteen fifteen six and february no bra and he won't shoot a jumper he won't show if they don't get the ball over doug it what are you gonna do. You can't blame in the fourth quarter. That can't be a point guard that cannot be. you'll starting point. Dad becomes unplayable in the fourth quarter. This i don't know. I don't know how this plays out chris. Thank you for weighing in today. We appreciate your time and we'll definitely be part of this. We get on fox. It's a good one. starts saturday. Strong with the noon kickoff. Pregame show at ten am eastern. We are live from soldier field in chicago and then at noon eastern jack cohn twelfth break fighting irish taken on his former team number eighteen wisconsin. A huge big news. Saturday begins ten. Am eastern seven am pacific on fox and the fox sports app. It's going to be a good one from chicago. Well guys tony palmer. Made a statement in the cowboys away and over. The chargers racking up over a hundred yards on the ground and many are now calling from dallas to continue to use the combination of z. Out of the backfield jerry. Jones said on his weekly radio interview that having the to back says quote outstanding situation because pollard. Surprise the defense with his speed and zeke quote punishes the hell out of those defenders fan. And is this want. You punch underrated or overrated. I think the thing is is that. I think they're really just fine. I don't believe they're they're cre- they did. Not kareem hunt branded not branch. Bradley chubb got issues. But they're not kareem hunt right. I don't think they're that dual. But i think they're very solid duos skipping it and i agree with jerry skipped when you have a do. Oh you need to have a contrast if we go back and look at duos to rocky bleier to and franko hairs mercury mars lands on you throw jim kicking their ahmad. Bradshaw granted jacob more curtly. There needs to be contrast. You can't have two of the same to power guys to speed guys. One guy who electricity of the guys of thunder more power. That's how zeke runs zeke. Punish you and now you bring a french guy in there you only gonna give him x. Amount of carriers. But i know everybody said man here. Nine cares book thirteen. Just imagine what happened if you get twenty cares. You getting broke his bodies not for that. It's perfect give eight nine ten cares blohm another two to three passes. So that's you know. Twelve thirteen fourteen plays for game. They'll be continue to be explosive while allowing zeke to punish the depressed where down and now all of a sudden. They're tired a come. Tony pilot. mike. Okay you'll get it right. This is gonna force you to get it right. So i think the thing is. They're doing a great job. And i don't think they stumbled on this skip. I think they knew they could see the data shows them. The number showed them that. Zeke is not the same guy. twenty sixteen seventeen. Eighteen is not the same guy in twenty twenty one. We got a guy that can lighten some of the load and that can give us some of the explosiveness. Zeke's used to give a give their very few guys that we call bill bands anymore. You get seema carolina you get a dowling cook you get a big derrick henry. But for the most part everybody runs the to back system so dallas when you get to san francisco and baltimore. They run like ten bucks. Keep putting into doing good. It doesn't matter you'll be down your back and he'd get eighty five ninety like he's the number one but i got it so i do agree with you. I think this is a great situation. They stumbled on a great situation. But i don't think they stumbled on it. I think they saw the data was telling them in what they scare. These guys are really smart. They use data. They don't just use analytic to say. Should we go to skip or do we put the ball in this situation. They use data on their own players in when they look at the numbers and they look at zeke's number and they look at the amount of cares. they say he would be better in his system. Like wis split back guy. As opposed to the bill cow so we can maximize tube earns one stone while maximizing every guy's ability. I am shocked at your answer. I thought you would scream overrated across. The you've told me. Zeke is in decline. You'll never bounce back to what he was the first three years in this league. And you have repeatedly told me that. Mike polar is overrated. Because he's not that consistent that he has a flash year burst there but but over time he cannot be belco right right. Did you like this. Because you and i both know. If they thought how many times mix carries getting a better one for you. If i go back to one thousand nine hundred six of my dallas cowboys they brought in herschel walker and decided a we can have a dynamic duo with him and tony dorsett. Tony is not going to sit still for this. Nor should he note because you can have two superstars at one position okay but now this is why i'm about to explain to you. I think your heart is telling you we're heading in this direction. My new dynamic duo is dramatically under rated because it is right on time with the emergency maturity level of tony pollard. Don't call me mike pollard. Okay and zeke bouncing back from what he used to be to what he can be right now which is no longer the zeke. The ohio state. You agree with meal that why. I only agree with you this this much. He did recommit to his his overall body shot. He got himself very new and different shape. He lost his double chance as he got up again. Sheku yeah got it so all the sudden. I'm seeing a new commitment for a guy who got humbled beyond belief ledger. The average sixty five yards a game so right on time. Tony is emerging while zeke is accepting where. He is at this point in his six seasons. Where i can still be that guy. Can he not punt. Jerry is not exaggerating. punish defense. right right he can take it out. he can take pounds of flesh right. If we could quickly see just says touchdown run the other day. I think he's hard to tackle when he gets going down the hill because he is still got warrior mentality crashing through people. Does anybody in this league have better. Body leaned zeke..

"To us on the CBS Sports APP or The Odyssey and We're live in Boise, Idaho, today and through the end of the week and actually to begin next week, as well as we are here for the Boise State, Oklahoma State football game and plenty of Seahawks fans in Boise, Idaho, and in this region, the country Seahawks fans have plenty to rejoice about because they're one and oh, and got a road victory on Sunday over the Colts. And two things that I think Seahawks fans have to be very excited about. Number one Russell Wilson, still making it look easy. Only five incompletions and four touchdowns nearly had as many touchdowns his incompletions on the day. And he found Tyler Lockett a couple of times, D. K. Metcalf once and just overall. Russell Wilson looked completely in command of the offense. And was phenomenal is absolutely going to be an MVP candidate this season. The other thing was how often the Seahawks pass Rush got to Carson Wentz. The only sacked of officially three times, but they were in the backfield constantly. Harassing him constantly. They stopped him on that fourth down, try as well and overall made Wentz and that Indianapolis offense. Completely impotent. So if that Seahawks day can be that harassing on cube es, especially Eight. Colts offensive line that has been a hallmark of their success the last couple of years, a strength of the team. The Seahawks can be really, really good. Chris Carson also went off. He had that big run the 33 yarder. He finishes with 91 yards on the ground, and Seattle also runs for more than 140. The Colts team. That's supposed to have a sturdy defense and a good offensive line was beaten up on both accounts by the Seahawks on Sunday, So a lot of good came out of that that Seahawks victory. You know, I often times Make fun of Russell Wilson, and it's because he's a total corn ball. I mean, he's just He's a total corn ball and Almost nothing, he says, comes off as just genuine. And it might be exactly who he is. It just does not come off as natural or easy going. And so he's an easy target to make fun of. But I have never questioned his football. His football is Italy. He is clearly one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. He is clearly an M V P candidate as he was last season and picked up right where he left off. My criticism of him came this off season. Where Russell's agent Did. Release a report to Schefter. Whether Schefter when digging or whether it's agent gladly handed this over and wanted to leak it. But that Russell Wilson had given his franchise. The preferred destinations to be traded to because Russell wasn't feeling the love. And my point all along has been not feeling the love. They have fired and hired of multiple offensive coordinators for you. Last year, they threw deep, They built an offense around throwing deep to the team's detriment to take advantage of your ability downfield. Pete Carroll after the playoff loss, admitted with his exit interviews. We probably got to wound up in the deep ball in the big play, and we should have backed off of that. They have given Russell Wilson and all of the money they can. They have made him one of the highest paid players, quarterbacks in the NFL. They drafted D. K. Metcalf, and they are consistently trying to find a a run game to support Russell Wilson. You know, it's funny when Dan Marino or John Elway needed a Super Bowl when the Broncos of the Dolphins finally we're looking for run games and could find them at least in Denver. It was seen as thank goodness. They finally helped John Elway. You know Terrell Davis. But in Seattle, it's like, why are you focusing on the run game so much? You don't think Tom Brady benefited last year from the run game? You don't think that Aaron Rodgers benefited from Erin Jones. You don't think that through the years Joe Montana but benefited from Roger Craig. Like great quarterbacks. You don't think Terry Bradshaw needed Franco Harris, a Rocky Bleier great quarterbacks benefit from great running backs. Try Aikman's in the Hall of Fame, at least in part because Emmitt Smith was in his backfield. Yet in Seattle, they drafted they try to bring in running backs just like why are you? Why are you spending so much attention on the running backs? Take care of Russell Wilson. So I just I I barked back against this idea that Russell hasn't been given enough there that he wants more because I think they've done plenty for him. But this is not to take away from his football. Russell Wilson's elite He's sublime. And on Sunday he was exactly that again. At the Seahawks. You have a great season. Not a good season, a great season. Sunday was the start of what could be winning the division, getting a by and being one of the best teams in the NFL. What it was also was a real eye opener for the Colts. Offensive line got badgered. Defense got picked apart.

Terry Bradshaw Erin Jones Dan Marino John Elway Aaron Rodgers Terrell Davis Tyler Lockett Emmitt Smith Tom Brady Roger Craig Joe Montana Chris Carson Pete Carroll Schefter 91 yards Russell Wilson Russell Franco Harris Last year Wilson

"Saw lynn swann over by the locker room. However you i was about ten and And my the guy that was our to my dad he goes. You wanna go say. Hey lynn. swann. And i was like i'm i'm okay. I so badly wanted to do it. But i was so nervous. that I just couldn't bring myself to doing it and And then most of my life even as an adult why didn't say highlands one. I would really. That would have been really really cool. I used to before. I moved to kansas city. When i was a kid i i. We had a football pencil machine at our school. And i used to give steeler pencils to this guy that word with my dad. There was from pittsburgh and so the steelers were playing. I was living in california. They were playing the la rams and he took me. I was in first grade and that changed my life. I was a such a steelers fanatic as a kid to this day. If i need to remember a number an f. o. Number and address or something right all associated with a player from the seventies late seventies. Steelers if you name and number. I'll see if i don't even know for chris sunday. This is all this plan. We haven't planned okay. This is all jogged to go through the go to the pro football reference. By and and we'll we'll we'll put together a phone number for paul rudd area code i. We'll figure it out for his steelers. What year in particular. I don't know maybe go lake Seventy nine nine thousand nine hundred seventy nine steelers call him up. I don't know this is fantastic. I have no idea. Seventy eight seventy nine what you know. I don't know think you got it over there chris. Okay for paul polaroid. Let's let's do rocky bleier. He's twenty twenty correct when swan eighty-eight benny cunningham eighty-nine larry brown seventy-nine ailing the order. This the he'll be three eighty three. If you want on. Say a number. And i'll see if i can get player. Nice sixty three sixty three. Was that ernie homes. Tom tom dohrn brooke right right. Ray right ernie. Holmes was before seventy nine. Okay give another one. Forty seven forty. Seven was blunt correct. Fifty nine fifty nine. Was jack ham. Fifty to fifty to mike webster. Correct fantastic pretty impressive. Fifty eight for the win. Eight win would be jack lambert from kent state university guys. Paul rudd. I remember that because we were stunned. That number eight four four zero four rich is the number to doubt here on the rich eisen. Show michael keaton about the jonasson second. He's a diehard steeler fan. We just showed video of paul rudd being here a couple years ago i forgot. He stunned us a big chiefs guy. He he grew up loving the steelers. You new names and numbers off. The top is unbelievable and it just realized he was wearing a black was right there. Golf bowling shirt. I'm such a fan of this guy. And i've told it to his face when i've had a fortune to be in his presence of one of the greatest i think compliment. You can give an actor is he's he or she is great and everything and that includes the protege which i saw last night in advance of this interview. It's available in theaters. This friday starring maggie q samuel l. jackson. And this man. Michael keaton here on the rich eisen. Show how you been sir. Our haven't seen you for a while. it's been way too long. Talk about rudd yet. Run is a hard chief sky but he grew up loving the steelers and new them left right up and down by name and number and everything new. I like this guy seriously makes me laugh. One day We were sitting there somewhere at some event somewhere and i never met him but we kind of nodded each other across the room and I i was with. And i walked over. 'cause she'd come in and she said paul right has the greatest skin and so i said it was perfect so that he Nice to meet you. But more importantly can i say you've been nicest skin so did you talk moisturizers with him out. Moisturised paul man manny just john. He's i mean he's mr kansas city and he loves his chiefs but i had no idea he grew up with the steelers. So what do you think of your team going into us. And you're should. I worry i here's the here's the thing. Maybe i'll get in trouble for this but boy that wouldn't be the first time It's thirty nine right. Definitely pushing forty. And but that's okay because you when you go You know when you talk about Couple of quarterbacks like the one we are you know the probably best you go do like forty and you go. Yeah but i'm sorry man that's forget that forget that number when it comes to him with ben. I'm not sure he has that regimen out that you know exactly the two words you don't usually associate with ben rothlisberger michael keaton our health and not. That's that's what i mean. So so the question is is what will happen but he does look more in shape. And here's here's the one guy that i'm pegging okay or for the steelers. It's najji harris the crafted. Because this is the way to get ben to stop and the offense maybe to stop winging it around fifty times a game the side how talented their receivers may be. Just give it to this kid and go back to the old school you know and that hitting people in the mouth. That's the way. I think tomlin. I think deep down. That's what he wants to play a to change now. Raymond the ring bags never meant you after running back. That's who you want and you you you thought those guys up now the game so different people go running back a couple years out of one you know. He'll get all beat up and we'll move on the next kit. There's always gonna be really fast kid and some really good kids draft. You know that. I mean that's the way it seems to go because it's such a throwing game now you know but i don't know you know look Let's let's hope but they you know they kinda improve the line a little bit right. Yes they did and they and they get devin bush back in the middle of that exactly right and i love joe. Haden man He's he's like a unicorn back there in your twelve for him. I don't know you know. Obviously t. j. watt. They're kind of like the shrug emoji team they could be. They could be dreadful Based on maybe getting hurt with some important players or they could just be the surprise of twenty. Twenty one and a nice little throwback for the awesome by the way. That's the first are you. Did you coin shrug emoji. Yeah i. I don't know i'll ask my around here. Have their shrug emoji tweets. We've been kind of saying it. Sweet guess michael struggling. You're there are some emojis or just never happen like like. Let me think this overall get right back to you the most. I would love that. That would be. That would be a nice little shorthand. Sir can put people off. Michael keaton here on the rich eisen show. I love this movie. brother the protege it was. It's it's you know directed by the same director of casino royale and it does have a great spy thriller..

"There. You know desk best. That's just how it is. And what i've known about seven years you play seven ping pong. Go smoke you plan golf. He smoke you plan to pick up basketball regardless of what would you want to say how he looked he goes smoking. His is like a natural all around athlete. So you like dying seven okay you. You could have been all american basketball player. You just chose football. I can't say that about a lot of other quarterbacks you know in the nfl so savvy in price themselves on being very competitive now to get back on what you said unbelievable like this. You said well first of all. Let's let's be specific just for a second so you said if he wants if he likes you. You're in so. I mean la. I've never heard that. So ben would go to. Calvin colbert mike and say i like this. I mean even draft free agent stuff now is wash your team you on the t. Now you got for him he. He's not a part of the draft in the personnel part. Once you wanna team he feel like you're capable of helping helping the team in himselves. We got actually on wash once. He feels like you might be a problem. Is going to be a little bit. How're you know what i'm saying. So yeah and that's what i mean. He's he's not into the drafting. 'cause that's about kevin cove. I felt like. He's a future hall of fame. Ozzy notion you know what i'm saying. Once he once he writes but seven is okay. If you're not going to be assistant if you're not gonna come in like me if you ain't gonna put into work like me we gotta You know in a mop personal opinion is all off of the competitive of seven. Seven could've played a lot of difference for scholar. A lot accused at about two quarterbacks in the league embiid very successful. and how is your relationship with band. Did you stay mostly on his good side. Shuffleboard champion in the locker room. Talk be talking talking about bid. I'm just looking at it. Probably how you looking at it. So i'm looking at it from a standpoint. Okay you gotta young. Afc north would three youngsters. Joe bar rope a lamar jackson in baker mayfield. If we can't go on to win a championship right now. With seven at him is going to be even harder once you find his successor successor because of the experience alamar half a former. Mvp experience as you can see what baker mayfield not. He got a good gm in head coach. The experience you would have with joe borough in what he possibly could do if he stay healthy. That's looking at it from gentlemen's standpoint. Do you think do you ever worry about. We're not the nba here dude. You got play hard every week. Do you ever worry a little bit about that. That the the physicality diminished a little. No because that's the rules that have changed with the head ups in nfl. You know what. I'm saying so we just as players either. You adjust your to be the league asep if me ryan clark choi model of chris. Casey hilarious James harrison james farrior if all lust was planning right now the way replay. We'll probably be in the league for three years because we they probably would've took all that money and we would have got suspended for six to eight games that along the suspension. That's just what it is. You know what. I'm saying so with a concussion protocol. They change it for us. It was hit the head of the body of follow for these guys. You got a league which showed so as a player you just have to adjust. Not because you really want to. That's the way the. Nfl is going right now. Did you ever feel as a steeler intimidated offensive players to come. You could fuck around us man you as so as as soon as a player or a coach or office coordinator saying we had to be physical against the pittsburgh steelers We already knew we want because that might not have been y'all personality. We knew that we knew that's all not personality was smashed faces in. We used to call it facetime in back in the day and we used to call it catching the bike. Who can be the first to catch a body. You know what i'm saying so for us. We looked at much. I'm calling like so. You mean to tell me i can take the soul out of another man physical wires and not go to jail. "But i bet escobar place quite a bit at first base. That was the first thought i had to. I like that. I agree with you that he might get most of his time there. And is it really that bad thing. If milwaukee adopts the arizona plan to the envio where they just shuffled guys around day by day they give a day off here there. And it doesn't doesn't really hurt anybody's individual fantasy value that much escobar's loss in potential playing time. Here is i think offset by the fact he goes to a great hitters. Ballpark i don't think he loses any playing time. I think he plays every single day. First second or third i. That's my feeling about anyone does. That's the same thing with frazier. They're not gonna play literally every single day. They're gonna have their occasional days off because they have a roster that supports it. But i don't think in the end it's going to matter more than ten or fifteen. I don't think they have a roster support. Said i don't think rowdy tellez makes you sit eduardo. Escobar with twenty two home runs. I don't but we'll see i mean. Look you're moving to a better offense in theory okay. Milwaukee's only no better better ballpark in. Scituate okay yeah i think escobar's fa- i looked maybe you would trade away escobar now after the straight if you think he's gonna lose playing time with escobar. You mentioned this before. He is an extremely annually. Underrated fantasy player. I know yet a disappointing year last year but he has been excellent two years ago he was great one of the best bang for the buck. Picks that you could get and this year is looking somewhat similar. The astros have a better bullpen. Now setting up ryan presley. They've got jimmy garcia from miami. They're closer and they got killed graven from seattle in a very odd inner division trade and the manners is not a good flying the same park at the time that it just says something bad but seattle had to know that they were over achieving a little bit about agreements not the best relief. pitcher seattle's bullpen. Pulse is having a better season than kendall raymond. Nobody wants to talk about that silk again. They'll trade today to be set up man somewhere. But i think this is pretty obvious. Presley's the closer in grave men and Jimmy garcia are no longer going to get saves so that means going to drop them in. Espn standard leagues. I would agree with that but somebody's left behind. Paul sodas clearly seattle's closer but again daca chain the next twenty four hours. I'm not sure i mean with you on that. Even if he stays. But i'm not sure it's rider. I think second rider might have a chance. I think they could go very well. To the montero and graven bullpen. They had in april and may using those two players. I'm with you. That sold is the guy you invest in. But i think there's a chance it's a combo miami. Could trade like their top three setup. Man they're all older guys in their thirties. Fluoro- bass Rocky bleier but what about Anthony benders so who would you rather roster right now if you have one spot and your bullpen. Anthony bender miami or of seattle. If i'm doing it this minute it's got to be civil. Yeah and i could go to the ballpark. And the fact that the marlins will be fighting at tough close wins. But i'm not. I actually more convinced that sue old is the closer in seattle. I have more confidence in that. Being the case that i am in whether it's floor or bender in miami and as you said floro and sue themselves could be trade candidates liars and other guy who's been on the trade market absolutely That's it for the trades players yet to be moved max scherzer. Apparently his starting in half an hour in philadelphia in the rain despite obvious trade stuff going on there. That's just not smart washington. It's just not smart in the least you should scratch them from the saudi and maybe they will by the time we end the show. Maybe they've been asked to audition show he's healthy. Who knows every team knows is the cubs so have to move some other guys kris bryant. Craig kimbrel no need to keep them around. My is by. As i don't know if they moved by that wanna see byles on the reds he and having three agent orange he and amir garrett his teammates cova does hit a couple of teams obviously washington. The game on wednesday was postponed against philadelphia. Trae turner Ten day isolation christian yelich tested positive as well. Nothing good about testing positive but in yellows case you slugging three sixty seven. So maybe he's back. Needs ten days off so i think there's a silver lining in the christian yelich situation because he's just not helping fantasy managers at all through four months of the season. One of the biggest bus fantasy no power whatsoever and maybe in ten days. We'll have it back. We'll see him. Jimenez came back to hits a home run in his On tuesday including gaming homer any left wednesday's game with groin injury. But we don't know how serious is he may not miss any time at all But it's nice to see him back and it certainly helps the chicago lineup. So and i've seen him getting traded in a couple of my league so either people don't believe or they really really believe so. I thought that was pretty interesting. You know people are all in on. Eli right now. Which i kind of two. I don't see.

"Hand of randy white. A great player. He was playing on special teams. Dentists dirt winston recovered in the steelers had the ball on the dallas eighteen. My gosh that was a pile of a scrum for the ball that lasted forever and it was really cute to wedged minister winston with a ball just holding out running and he was not giving anybody that ball back run into the sidelines holding the ball out. It was like he had stick him on that ball. He was in his clutches and no one was going near that thing absolutely talking about role players like a like a rocky liar. Winston was another one who gave the students a lot of valuable years during his career. Here so yeah he was not letting up all go and that was a huge huge turnover. You're you're you're if you're the cowboys your everything and all my gosh were down. Twenty eight seventeen in the fourth quarter. We're gonna come back in a hurry and then next thing you know you give a go right back to the steelers so that was huge talking about role players. This is not a role player. Terry bradshaw new his role and he knew he was the leader of this team. He had never had a three hundred yard passing game at this juncture in his career he decided to get his first one super bowl thirteen and he got it with. An eighteen yard passed a lynn swann. The scores now thirty five to seventeen with six fifty one remaining on the clock now dallas in desperation mode. They went dorsett and the air hoping for a miracle despite the ban bunch celebrating the second sack perpetrated by their hero. The cowboys put together a four minute. Twenty four second. Drive that culminated. In seventy or billie joe debris touchdown catch from stallworth. After robert thurman recovered with few twenty-seven left in the game that being an onside kick the cowboys scored again when butch johnson hold in a starbucks throw from four yards out but only twenty two seconds. Remain tony and the world knew it. What did they know that another onside kick was coming with the cowboys. Trailing by four points guess. Who else knew it tony. Rocky bleier had the man rocky bleier shorthanded the attempt and the steelers by a score of thirty five thirty one were three time champions and again the toast of the town as for me. I was seven and this was the first dealer super bowl. I was cognizant of and truly engaged in my love affair with his team officially began on this day. Tony and i've really never been the same. What about you my friend. Any thoughts of super bowl thirteen. I just i just. I don't remember this game at all when it originally aired. But i just love going back and watching this game. I love going back and watching documentaries about it and features. Nfl films speeches. I love listening to both teams talk about it. The cowboys here. We are in twenty twenty one and they're still not over this game and some of the critical place. So i i just i just i said this is the first truly great super bowl and i. It's always a treat to go back and watch it truly is and this was so much fun talking about it with you. I had so much fun. I this is the way a super bowl is supposed to be. And i really love this game of makes me more proud to be a pittsburgh steelers fan and i love watching these guys so tony. Thanks so much my friend thank you. It was great. It was great and to tighten went at it and and one came out the team in a decade. And that's the pittsburgh steelers so for tony desio. My name is brian. Anthony davis we are going to be going back in time for another super bowl. We'll do that next week at this time as well. We're going to do later. Super bowl will be steeler. Seahawks where libby be steelers packers. And we don't wanna do that one way or won't be steelers cards plenty of action and all of those games we will decide and we will let you know but for toni. My name is b. You could call me bad and remember you can take away. We don't mind but he better promise us. We'll be back in time. Support for this episode comes from forward.

"The middle of the end zone also got past ron johnson. They're the future hall of fame. Tight end of sixteen years. Dropped the soft pass and the cowboys settled for a twenty seven yard. Raphael sept. an field goal. This would go down as one of the biggest blunders in super bowl history. Tony i could still hear jack buck saying he must be the sickest man in america and rush. I mean right in the middle of the end zone to drop it like that. This was a hall of fame player. But he's remembered for this one bad play and it's a shame. Oh it's definitely and the funny thing about it is. He came out of retirement to play one more season with the cowboys. He played his career but the cardinals and come of retirement. You're already a hall of famer. Now this is what you're known for your you see this image of yourself over and over again for the next over four decades now so you have to feel bad for the guy but hey these things happen in comes down execution and he didn't execute on that play. Many cowboys fans would site for years that this was the for being the reason that the team lost the game however would have only tied the score with more than a quarter left of action. It was now the steelers twenty one the cowboys seventeen and nbc kept on showing him on the sidelines. When dallas was trying to tie the game late what would have happened is eventually this game would have been tied thirty five thirty possibly at the end of the game. But i don't think so. I mean you can say that because they came back but circumstances are much different teams. Play different win the scores tighter. That might have not been a tie game at the end of the game. They're going into overtime. But a lot of cowboys fans wanna hold onto them. And i get it. Yeah i mean if they're down thirty five twenty eight with a few minutes left instead of thirty five twenty four maybe they don't try not sidekick tire circumstances. The game would have been different in in. You said that the strategy would have been different. They would have both teams would have played it differently. So i i don't i don't you can't say one. Plus two equals three. You who knows what would have happened if it was thirty. Five twenty one. i'm sorry Instead of a thirty five seventeen we will never know you got that. Td there was plenty of scoring in the fourth quarter but it started with a consecutive punts. We got to see a lot of craig colquitt in this game as well as danny white controversial. Pass interference play on betty. Barnes while covering swan led to a twenty eight yard gain but on third down. Pittsburgh suffered a delay of game penalty. Hollywood ignored the whistle and slammed branch out of the miami turf. Probably because he was just snorting coke out of inhaling coke of an asthma taylor and he was all amped up. It was a move. The franco harris took exception to and the two opposing players had words. Now ten yards go. It isn't typical to run the ball. But you had an angry franco harris. He was set free on a trap by mike webster. Rape penny and jerry moon mollins and he scored from twenty yards out on the play. Charlie waters also ran into an official preventing from getting the harris with seven ten remaining pittsburgh at a twenty eight to seventeen advantage in this game running into the official. That's a big deal. But an angry franco tony. What do you think was more devastating for dallas. Definitely angry franko and. I don't know if you saw this one feature rocky. Bleier is interviewed about this and he said when they're in how he said. I want the ball meaning frank. I want the ball. I want the ball and franco never said anything like that. He never he barely spoke so yeah. They angered the beast in whether there was an official. They're not i think Franco's running right through. Charlie waters on his way to the end zone. Wouldn't matter roy drew rela he squib kick not sure it was behind or if it was merely being roy gorilla and it worked when it bounced off of the casted..

"He beat randy hughes nets. He's jetting. He's off to the end zone the races for a fourteen fourteen tie just like that. It's a seventy five yard score. It was the longest in super bowl. History pass play at the time. The steelers have some luck with seventy five yard scoring plays. Because willie parker did it. So many years later with a seventy five yard run. John stallworth was i to do it. Without seventy five yard pass. Bradshaw had all the numbers in the world at this point because he just got seventy five yards per a ball that he threw about seven to eight yards. Down the field stallworth. Three catches hundred and fifteen yards. The steelers are tied. Thinks seems so much better. Tony and it goes back to that confidence. I mean they had such belief in themselves and and you look like such an innocent little pass pick up a first down but star wars. You know like he said at one time check no always told them never be surprised by the big play and you know he catches his ball. He gets great blocking from swan. You see grossman downfield blocking. And it was such a beautiful run by him and he. He was so so athletic and not giving enough credit for Kind of athlete. He wasn't it was he was such a great receiver clutch receiver as both and swan were and it was. It was big for them to answer right back after after two quick touchdowns by dallas the score right away. A few plays later to tie the game. It just said we're not going anywhere. We're we're in this game and this is going to be a shootout. Stallworth would not see much action in this game. In fact you would see more of t. Bell because stallworth was injured. I don't know whether it was on this play but Maybe just a little bit later. But he was on the sideline getting attention. He would be sorely missed but as you know things. I did go well in his absence with other players. Stepping up and the defense would start to step up. Tony steelers always had a quick defensive score on the very next series. When a joe green sack jarred the ball loose steepen dallas territory but st for nested and pounce on it instead. He tried to pick it up. For a short touchdown couldn't get control on the cowboys. Recovered dallas escaped by punting from. Its own endzone roy. Jarallah perhaps the worst player in super bowl history clanked his fifty one yard attempt off of the uprights. Actually hit the crossbar. More crisis was averted for dallas. I'll tell you what roy guerrilla from new mexico. He struggling super bowl tony. Yeah he was. I mean for nineteen seventy eight. He was twelve or twenty six. I mean could you imagine that today they would. They would run them out of town while before the before the thousand six field goal. I didn't realize he had such a strong leg It was a great attempt by him in this game. You know you're you're kicking fifty one yards. I guess you have. You had nothing to lose and he let it revenue almost made it. But but you're right he was. He didn't have great super bowls. He's his accuracy was. I was left a lot to be desired. it's surely was now. Tom landry team looked like they were going to take advantage. And take the lead as they drove into steeler territory. But they couldn't do anything with their lock. Pittsburgh put a ferocious rush on star back and is offering was snagged by mel blunt. Another interception at the steelers sixteen this time. It was the cowboys throwing an interception. He returned to the twenty nine inside of the two minute warning. Because of a fifteen yard penalty on an unnecessary hit by billie joe debris on blunt. The steelers had great field position before the end of the half bradshaw. He took advantage and lynn. Swann was his weapon of choice on this possession. Get fifty yards two catches in this in this series tony with twenty six to go bradshaw road right. And it was a thing of beauty he found a leaping rocky bleier in front of db lewis for seven yards in a twenty one to fourteen lead at the half..

"But what was good for sports writer was they would submit interviews openly. They wanted you to talk to them. They wanted you to write to them. And i was fortunate in that. I was writing for the sporting news. I wrote a column on pro basketball for the sporting news for nine years. I wrote calms for the boston by the basketball news. The basketball times the basketball digest busy boy. And of course the street and smith's which you referred to as the bible of basketball and let me say this if anybody is interested in those people and wants to read different stories about them. It's i don't write about games. I don't write about statistics. I write about people and today you know. Most of the bookstores are closed. Waldenbooks b dalton borders. They're all went bankrupt and it's hard to find a bookstore to shopping mall these days. So i sell all my books directly and the best way to get in touch with me is to google pittsburgh sports author jim brian and That's o'brien with an e. Not an a and the thing is you'll find my website and it has information about all the books in the series and i hope to. I hope to stay healthy and wanna continue to buy it. I don't. I don't really make any money so in books anymore. I made a lot of money at one point showing books. But i don't print as many now and i'm happy if i pay the bill because i just wanna write two stories. I have them. I'm sitting next to a room where i have thirty four file cabinets and they all are filled with photos and information about different ball players. I just did a story about the rooney family. This morning owned the steelers. And i have at least seven inches deep of folders about art rooney. Dan rooney art junior. And i have individual files on terry bradshaw on franko harris and rocky bleier. Those people and i had an opportunity about Two years ago. To fly to calgary canada with franco harris sitting across from me in a private jet. It's someone sent to pick us up to come. And speak at a dinner in calgary so i had. I'm sitting across from franco harris like a priest and a confessional box. That's how closely where and i talked to him for about ten hours each way going and coming. Nobody not even his wife. Never talk to franco harris for that. Long franko was thought to be. And i i would. I would say it was true. He was a difficult interview whenever he was playing ball. He was quiet you prefer. He was sat in a corner of the locker room. He'd make a face as sports writer walking his way. And i had all that time with him and then with rocky bleier a. He was going to the hall of fame for a special ceremony. And ken ohio and i asked him if i could ride with him and i said i can interview on the way down and interview on the way back and it won't take up any your time because you gotta go anyhow. I sat and rode shotgun now. The thing about that is i. I learned to do that from bill. Bradley dollar bill when he was planning for the knicks in nineteen seventy season. One day i was supposed to interview him after practice at a death school on long island because the nixon have a place to practice they would practice a different gyms. "NHL broadcaster check. I think about 40 years of your life has been spent in front of a microphone with hockey. Exactly. You also have football. You were a Michigan. Oh, yeah. Michigan, Wisconsin, nine years in the big 10, And it was delightful to be a part of all of that. That's always fun to have a voice like that. In the studio of it. You can see the voice now see the voice and then we have Mr Greg Barry in He's a financial All Star, one of the best members of my financial planning team and handles from central to eastern North Carolina. Mainly right, put some miles on. Yeah, office down. There were grand fall Wilmington. Yeah, And then, of course, up here in the triangle research trying to rally we have the big office and Greg's an extension of the big office. Does a really good job down there, guys? Let's talk about one of the main concerns a Chuck, you are You. You talked a lot of athletes who retired a lot of broadcasters. A lot of people in the NHL. Whoever he retired, and you told me the main concern people have is income when you get to retirement. Absolutely. And you know what? It's almost like an oxymoron to coach because you think these guys make tons of money. And what they do for a little bit of time, right? And you would think that they would know what to do with it. We've seen many cases and especially and it's transcend a different generation. So I'm not just talking about the guys in the seventies and eighties, right talking about guys up to 15 10 15 years ago who entrust people with their money and suddenly they don't have it, And they're wondering why on our radio show our national radio show each week we do something called brokers behaving badly and every single week I see So many bad insistence of people take advantage of PDO and I send it over to Steve's at all who's in our production facility, and he asked to do so. He's got the toughest job in the world. He has to take all these fraud cases. And he has to pick the one that he thinks will be the best segment on the radio. Constant, multimillion dollar theft of money where people didn't realize it was happening. Well, let me tell you something, you know as well. I do in case you didn't know this. Ladies and gentlemen, Mr Coach. Pete is a big Boston Bruins fan. I am and he remembers the name of Robert Gordon. Or Yeah, we had Bobby Orr on our show You absolutely. And so Robert Gordon Orr had a an agent named Alan Eagleson. And a nine year career, which was lucrative for the time. I mean, we're talking. I made 102 $100,000 a year back, then had nothing at the end, And the reason was, he entrusted Eagleson, who later went to jail by the way, because he treated a lot of players like that. Wrongly, well. Bobby Orr was one of the best hockey players ever seen He his career We have been he would have a 20 year career, but he had bad knees. Absolutely nine years he would just cut off. But and now you know the nice thing. There's a moral of story. He is now a player agent representative, and he does right by his client. Well, he he learned from his mistakes, and he's training his clients to not Fall for the same dirty tricks. He did the same thing with Rocky Bleier used to the radio show with Rocky Buyer. Pittsburgh Steelers running back fullback on the Super Bowl winning teams back in the seventies, and he said, Coach, I fell for the wrong advice. I believed in the wrong people, and I fumbled my retirement. So he wrote a book called Don't Fumble Your Retirement. Money lessons going by four times. In our daily lives. Now here's your host, Dan Celia. Welcome back. 6 10 to 16 11. Welcome back to financial issues It is Thursday. July 1st. Yeah. First day. Of the Second half of the year. This is going to be a very interesting second half of the year. I hope, although it is extremely unlikely. That we don't have a Second half like we did the first half full of uncertainty. As a matter of fact, very, very little certainty. In the first half of the year, the only thing was certain. Was that there wasn't going to be any certainty so we need to hopefully, see that happen here. In the second half. So I hope that you will Stick with us and be a part of this second half of the year, there is likely to be a lot of changes. I am contemplating many changes in and around our strategies as we move forward. We will continue to add companies. There is concern about over evaluation of the market. I'm not very concerned about that, and won't likely be concerned about that. Until Mm third week of this month. And so maybe fourth week until we're well into early season. So stocks have been continuing to go up. So how could it be that we are not overvalued? Because earnings going up dramatically brings valuations into play. I don't know if you'll remember this. But back when The election of President Trump. Was passed and I'm talking about the November of that election year in December. Before he even took office. Evaluations. From my perspective. I won't speak about all of Wall Street, but I do believe that they followed suit. Not following me, but they felt the same way as a better way of putting it. In that.

"But we're gonna We're gonna go back a little bit. In the throat backs. Let me throw back Saturday. My name is Pakistan. My form of radio name's Carmine. He stuck sports with the Super Bowl upon us, and with everything that's gone on in the world. I really don't want to talk about politics or what's going on. I want to talk about the Super Bowl. And you know, there's just so much just this game brings to mind. You know, maybe the clothes the changing of guard we have the We have to go and Tom Brady and you have Pat Mahomes. Patrick is just a hell of a quarterback. But what's interesting is I Listen all week long. How Patrick Mahoney's loses this game. He could never be the greatest quarterback of all time. And I'm like you guys. You guys really that daft I mean, when you look back over the years, there was a guy named Dan Marino in a second season broke every passing record known to man. They were calling him the second coming and he was going to be a dominant force in the NFL. He went to the Super Bowl that season. It got destroyed by Joe Montana, 38 to 16. But everybody thought Miami would be back and they never got there again. And when you look at the accomplishments of this young man in three years as a starting quarterback, regardless of the winds tomorrow, well, it does not stamp his career. When you think about this, he has more wins. Then Jim Kelly has been there four times whose own for Fran Tarkington is owing three. Okay. Aaron Rodgers and Brett Farve each have one Super Bowl. This is he's got a shot going after number two in the back to back Chiefs had men disturb role in 50 years and they got their last year and damn near made it. This coulda been three in a row Had not for Tom Brady taking the Patriots to Kansas City, upsetting the chief that year in overtime. They want what they want to kick off, and they went right down the field that won the game like they did two years earlier in the Super against Atlanta, But the bottom line is this When you look at this matchup The reality is it's not Brady against my homes. It's the Kansas City Chiefs because the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and you gotta look at this game from a whole different Platform. It's not those two players were gonna make the difference and Brady's case what he what he has left behind or what he's lost in his mind and his mind. Homes may never learn. Brady has several distinctions going into this game number one. He will be The first quarterback to play in 10 Super Bowls that's never been done before. It may never be done again in our lifetimes. Number two. He's the winning a Super Bowl quarterback in NFL history with six Now that could be broken, But maybe it'll take some years. If he loses tomorrow, he has the distinction of being the Super Bowl champion in losses as well. He could tie Jim Kelly with four defeats in the Super Bowl. Right now he's tied with Fran Tarkington with three Now they call him the goat. But his fault He's 46 3 hasn't won. Every game has been too Mahomes wins, I'll be tuning on the Super Bowl. Is that making the greatest know the interesting thing about these dynasties that we see and how they built? Their built is every dynasty has great players, And it's not just the quarterback you had Joe Cool with the 40 Niners. I still think is the greatest quarterback I have ever seen. Period from Uncle here in Pennsylvania. He was the greatest period and if the game was played the way this today when he played, he might have one more. Jerry Rice says he would probably put it in the 500 passes Montana. What took a lot of Beaton's yet he got it done. He was flawless and Super Bowls for no. Bradshaw Foreign All was he is good. A quarterback is Joe Montana. No. Steelers had a great defense, but they also had great weapons. Franco Harris, Rocky Bleier, when Swan John Stallworth They were amazing football teams every dynasty, the Green Bay Packers of the sixties, the first team that went to Super Bowls in a row and who they beat Super Bowl. One Kansas City. When you look at that Packer team, it's hard to believe that that that many players off that particular team made the Hall of Fame that like one in 11 before they got taken over by Vince Lombardi. Great coaches involved here. Okay? Look at Kansas City now. Arians can't be called the great coach described head stretch. And Andy Reid has been knocking on the door for many years. This is a chance for him to get number two. He is constructing an incredible organization in Kansas City did didn't Philadelphia's well but he couldn't get over the top with Donovan McNabb, but this particular team Mahomes brings to the game. Such a flair, things that you don't ever see before You see the play quarterback in NFL is not physical. It's mental, and he has the mental skills to be successful. He can use his feet. Gigi has a cannon for an arm. And he does have to be in private improvisational. But when you look at Tom Brady Brady is a tailor made quarterback pocket passer. He's not very not very fluently runs. Great at the quarterback Sneak. That's about as far as he's going to run with the ball. But his passing is brilliant. And and his brain for the game is just amazing. So you're gonna see a 25 year old youngster who I believe is a genius against Ah 45 43 year old genius. Now I believe that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers next year would have been the team to beat for the Super Bowl right now. I don't see it. Now, when you look at the first two games in the plastic, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers played The New Orleans Saints lost the game more than the Buccaneers won the game. Case in point. Drew Brees.

Tom Brady Brady Kansas City Tampa Bay Buccaneers NFL Joe Montana Fran Tarkington Jim Kelly Pat Mahomes Kansas City Chiefs Pakistan Patrick Mahoney Dan Marino Drew Brees Miami Atlanta Aaron Rodgers Jerry Rice Steelers

"The plane will land where smiles everyone that show you have the love boat that we had go for on our show from the LeBeau. We had him on like, 10 years ago. He's a fun guy to talk to Fred Grandy. I think his name was really cool guy. He's be celebrities. They're getting harder to find enough. Speaking of which we had a desk for the with happy Show any money, interviewed any money a few years ago. Remember that interview? Yeah. Chris Berman, Bobby or famous hockey player, Rocky Bleier, famous football player for the Steelers. Great official famous weatherman. Ron Francis Scotty Bowman, who's Hall of Fame Hall of Famer, and, uh, Gary Bettman, who's commissioning NHL. We've got all these other three disc set and would give this way when you When you call today you're gonna get this is well and you know, you need to see D player member CD s. How fast did we lose these things, man? Man, Remember blue, Gray and blue gray DVDs with this was the big thing. And also they wanted hasn't the streaming online now? Yeah. Thanks. Change. And so we don't want to be caught in a financial plan that's left behind as well. So Steve again, let's let's open it up for 10. More people that know the phone lines are lighting up right now, and I've also got that. Don't worry, Retire. Happy DVD We're gonna give away as well as the three books set. But more importantly, a total retirement plan, which we do 22 steps behind the scenes taxation factored in income needs safe money, safe money with growth. All these things we talk about. We put it in writing for you based on your situation based on what you tell us. You want to do? Not only today tomorrow, but all the way through retirement and many times spouses are different. Morgan, You've heard me talk about this. What else wants to do one thing? The other spouse wants to do another thing. It's difficult. Sometimes it's difficult but sitting down as a couple and and talking about it and letting the other spouse be heard, sometimes one of the spouses does most of the planning. But guess what? That other one is in there well and then what are the chances are they're both going to die the same day. Really slim down on a list in the car. And so that's why this little green Book of Life is very important to its 100 pages. Interactive that help you diagram out Number one. What You want to have happen in your life when you're not here? Well, after you pass away, Sure, but we're all all the things you've accumulate during your wife are because a lot of times we forget toe can't remember. Sometimes worse. Things are right. "That means when the market goes down market goes up and down all around by the way and We don't look at political events and we don't we don't try to trade on that. You become a day trader. You end up losing money. That's hotel bars done studies del bars in the agency and that right outside of Boston, Mass. And they study investor behavior and fear and greed of the two biggest emotions to get everyone in trouble. There's something called foam. Oh, that I've heard my daughter say, fear of missing out? Sure. So you see a start going up like crazy. Well, you don't wanna be right behind you Jump in and the day you jump in Everyone who's already in decides to sell on Then what happens it goes down and so we can't invest like that. But they're all bar said that the average investor that does start to try to day trade or trade on news. That kind of thing ends up making about two times less. Then someone an index fund. Wow. So if an index fund is performing like 8%, you finally make about 4%. Now, these are just numbers and some people do great When you go to Vegas is always somebody winning. And there are a whole bunch of people that are people, right. Well, you hear about like the joke here, My family was my brother. Bob used to go to Vegas three times a year. And once every four years you call and tell me how good he's doing. Eggs. Simple. Man says he wasn't doing that good. If he was he'd have a private jet. By now. Many times he's gone. There has done real good, but we don't hear about the bad, Sure, just like market You always hear about the good pics, but you never hear about the bad picks are a lot of bad picks out there so big assure you have that proper diversification and you're in the right place. That's what we do in our three meeting process with you, and that's what the Golden ticket entitles you to is $1000 value. But if you call right now we'll open the phone lines right now You'll get this little green Book of life. But you get that golden ticket which is more valuable anything right now in these days, Absolutely that number to call 806 617383 800. 6617383 or you can text the word plan to 21,000 plan to 21000. I love this conversation. Because it is true. You do so much behind the scenes when you're helping folks prepare for retirement. You got that fear report. Attacks. Analysis. The Social Security review the inflation plan, the long term care of you, I could keep going on and on. At the end of the day, though, the total income plan eyes a big focus of this is well, Thomas has been paying attention. Yes, he has. Well, the most important parts, I think, are the income bridge. All right. What's what's in income Bridget's going from when you're getting income from your employer toe. When you get in income from yourself. You have to bridge the income because what you're used to making a salary when you retire. Basically this hour's gonna eventually stop. Isn't it? Sure. And so when it stops, something else has to start back up. It's like a relay race. All right, so the guy ran real good around the track in the hands of baton off and the other guys not ready yet. He's smoking a cigarette. Not good, everyone That wouldn't be the guy in the relay race anyway. It's like the horse race with a big fat jockey of me. Which witch doctor, you're gonna bet on the skinny one or the fat one. I'm going little going little well, and it's kind of sad to say that a lot of people are trying to hand that baton off to Social Security. Who's probably more like the guy smoking. You should a twist. You know, he's gonna walk around the track. Or you need somebody running around the track every single year. The rest your life, and you don't need somebody falling down right when you need him, the most sure, And I think a lot of people out there coach are thinking, okay, I've got Social security. That's my net. That's not always the case. No, you're right. And so longevity risk we talk about to Social Security will pay some bills. But the longer we live, the more the bills are gonna be. Just because things get more expensive, and we get less healthy. Yeah, it's a fact of life, isn't it? And so we just need to make sure that if you are in the process or you or you or you are saying yourself right now you're seeing yourself. It's time for me to protect my retirement. Make sure my family safe then this is definitely the time to call and make sure you have the right plan put together and so We also I've got another desk here. Chuck Kate. Neither chuck it in the Hall of Fame broadcaster for the Carolina Hurricanes free, I think, 39 years. Thank you very much Coach and him and I did a show years ago with a couple years ago called this happy Show. And on that we interviewed Ron Francis, who played for the Carolina Hurricanes. Bob your famous Boston Bruins with player who's also a financial advisor. Now remember Bobby Orr Hall of Famers, the Flying goal like he got tripped and he was shooting. I think it's against ST Louis in the puck went in, so I don't know, but it's a flying gold. Back in the day. Gary Bettman, the commissioner, that NHL Rocky Bleier, one of my best all time buddies, he was a fullback. The Pittsburgh Steelers when they won those four Super Bowls, and he's not that big by the way to be a fullback Well, and he's a veteran. I mean, e. I mean so so many great stories about rock well, basically went to volunteer to go serve in Vietnam got half his toe blown off, then came back and played for Pittsburgh and won the four Super Bowls. Really story success story right there. Incredible Eddie Money one of my all time favorite. We've talked about that before the great rock and roll legend he passed away, Unfortunately, but Not before I interviewed him really good interview Chris Berman from ESPN. Good names. We call her very cold from the Carolina Hurricanes, so we'll also give you this disk. It's really good, really good Interviews on here and live Happy show was a fun show. We'll probably bring that back eventually. Hi, great. Let's do this. Let's give this little green Book of life out. Let's give this golden ticket out. Let's give the live happy show disc out, and I've got another DVD called the Five Keys to successful retirement. It's a DVD that Thomas and I put together and not too long ago. Well, make sure you get it in everyone's hands. Thomas the next 20 people call We'll get this goody bag at no cost or obligation, the most important part to me. I think it should be to you is you also get that golden ticket which will entitle you to make sure you have that total retirement plan that we will do for you. Number one will educate you on where you are right now, which is very important and light and enlightening, but number two Design a plan based on what you say you want to have happen in the future number one will tell you that's possible or not, And if it's probable we'll put it together for you in writing, so they'll be no doubts. Gimmicks or games all the way through your life because we practice three main ingredients that every plan we do we wanna have growth. We won't have protection of that growth. In other words, once you get it, we don't want you to give it back. Walk those gains in and then when you decide we want you be able to activate your lifetime income account. We call it the financial Philip strategy. So the next 20 of you go. I'll be looking forward to meeting you. I'll sign a couple other books that I've written. I've written eight of now, but make sure you get that little green Book of life and make sure you get that golden ticket right now. That number is 806 617383 806 617383. You can also text the word plan to 21,000 P l. A in 2 to 1000 folks. This is why we want to give you our listeners the opportunity to review your individual plans for retirement. You can find out if there are any potential red flags that could cause problems for you down the line with your current plan or advisor..

I mean, I see what you did with the Cavs. Obviously. Uh, And then everything. Call people pawns on in these instagram message is like it seems that could be highs and lows. Um, and that has been a bit of a pattern. With with Kyrie. Let's go Toe Alan in Toronto. Alan, You're up next here on CBS Sports Radio. What's up? Longtime Steelers fan, you know, goes way back to the days of Brad's John Franco Harris, Rocky Bleier. Every finger is pointing Trustee Orange victory, and the game is in the Steelers house to the Browns during a 17 game losing streak of Heinz defense. He's on the sideline and Soza job. Antonio and The Steelers are adept at creating and it's turnovers. Mayfield was sacked four times last week with that with two best passwords. You on the sidelines and big Ben will be fresh. The stories don't really shame on them that they'll be fired up. They want to get paid back for last week. So it Z. I'm looking forward to it, and they just have to look when you say. Right? I think something just absolutely got play Good. They have to put the brakes on chub Lynn Hunter. That's where the Bronx have them on the ground game. That's it. That's the only thing that they have the mind. But the Browns are going to be. You know, it's a shame that the first time there Gonna play offs in 18 years and I'm sorry to have to spoil the Browns reams of victory, but it looks like Steelers all the way and I'm looking forward to it because I just think he's drinking. Hey, Alan. I'm not picking it against the Steelers. That's for sure. Not just because the Browns coach is out, but the red is the Browns first playoff appearance and 18 years. It's really well when you think about 18 years. I was. I guess I'm old now. I was going to say I was only I was 21 18 years ago. Uh, so I guess I was older than you. Do you think I was in college, though. The last time the Browns made a play, I don't even remember. I can't remember the Browns being a playoff game. No, I can't. I can't even like if I'm trying to like picture a Browns playoff game. I can't think Think of one Is there one I'm missing? And maybe I'm being like, try. I just can't think of a time I watched the Browns in the playoffs. It doesn't mean that I don't remember a memorable Cleveland Browns performance in my entire life. Not one. Not one significant, like stand out Cleveland browns performance or moment or game that like, Oh, yeah, I remember where I was when I saw the Browns to do this. Um, let's go to David and Green Bay. David, you're up next here on CBS Sports Radio. Very good morning, Robin. Happy New Year, Um I want to go back to the Shawn Watson. If you might And well, first Let me make the comment. I don't know why in the world this is a topic. I can't even believe that Texans would even consider Tweeting to Sean watching, but let's just play the game and for conversation. Let's make the point. You had you'd asked somebody else while back who would be interested anybody would be interested in to Shawn Watson. But who would have a collateral position that would bring something to the table where the Texans would even accept such a thing? In this regard. I wanna I wanna throw this out. If you wouldn't mind to Anthony. I know he's a Jets guy and Donald's, uh, coming up on a big position with the team there. By the young man's got skills. We won't go into the Jets history, but I don't think you ever really had a chance. I just throw it out. The both of you it. Let's just say that the Jets would offer their number one pick. And Donald To the Texans for this John Watson. What would you guys think about that? Would you think that's an acceptable trade? Um, I'm working. I'll listen. Have a great day. You guys love the show. Take care. It's not enough. I think it's the start. I think the number two pick and Donald is the start of a reasonable trade package. I think you have to add more draft picks to it, Anthony, You wanted your opinion, I would say this just because I know people say Donald hasn't been in the best situation and that's true. But I just haven't seen enough from sand. Donald W. Oh, yeah, I haven't seen enough either. And again, Um You know, we talked about Watson all morning. And you know, he had his best receiver taken away from him. Who did he have? And he still put up crazy numbers and yes, I know. You know, Donald has had nobody around him. But I mean, we haven't even seen Donald even come close to putting up any of those type of numbers, So I'm personally ready to move on from Donald. I agree. You're gonna have to add some other draft picks in that scenario, but without a doubt, I mean, I would definitely be willing to give up the number two picks for Watson because I've seen Watson..

"You want to be respectful of other people's mental health. And as an employer, you wanna be respectable for other people's mental health. So if it was something along the lines of hay after what happened on Wednesday, I really took it hard. You know, I just need I need a few days to get my head together. Um, you know, I really appreciate it. You know, if I could get a few days to get my head together, I'll be back. You know, with the team on Sunday. That's you know, I need a few person I know in the realm of sports. We don't think of personal days that way. They only play 72 games and I get it. I do get even the reaction to that. But I would understand that I'd be much more understanding of that than, um, a passive aggressive way of doing it. Of just like, Oh, I'm I'm not showing up s O. It depends on what went on behind the scenes. But I think yes, you have to consider that depending on what the level of communication was and how it actually played out. But that's part of the problem is we're left to speculate so much, and I can't in good faith or good consciousness render like a definitive take or statement about any of it without Actually knowing what took place and and how it went down 855 to 1 to 4 to 27855 to 1 to 4 to 27 at Robin Lundberg on Twitter. I mean, either way, the team is left to answer for him. The coaches have to answer for him. The team has left to play without him. He's now missed every game. Durant is missed the one that went over the sixes. Uh, the other night. And you know, one of the game's even without the man was the second of a back to back when it was announced the night before Durant wouldn't play. In the back, the back which you get cause of the Achilles and then all of a sudden, Kyrie didn't play. On and then now, same thing here, you know, Durant misses the one game, Kerry was brilliant. In that first game that Durant was out against the jazz and then carry is AWOL. And this guy is I mean, he's since I I can't say that enough. I'm a Mets fan broken.
