"Your calls and more 8 three three four valdes. Let's go to rockport Missouri, KMA coming out of the Shenandoah Iowa is where she's listening from Ellie. What's up, you're on with rich valdes. Welcome. Goody, good evening, rich. Thank you for taking my call. I agree with you a 100% and the Janet that called previously from Springfield. This is getting out of hand with the drag queens in the schools and all this sexual exploitation. I used to think that wasn't weren't there rules protecting and guarding innocent individuals as in children from sexual exploitation. Yeah. You would think that used to be a thing. Now it's the thing to indoctrinate and introduce it at an early age. And you know, and this is why I probably don't do enough of a deep dive here. And maybe I'm a bit of a conspiracy theorist. I think is what they would label me today. But doctor Alfred Kinsey, this guy, he pioneered research saying that babies could experience orgasm and that they also desired sex and that babies and children are sexual creatures, and there were others that followed him another guy. I'm drawing a blank on his name. Doctor Carlton, do you remember what I'm talking about? Anyway, this doctor Carlton, I'll come up with his name, but he was another one that ended up sleeping with 400 boys and had adopted 56 boys and ended up getting sentenced to jail and then he died. But there are a number of medical and this guy was a pediatrician. And he'd spoken at the American medical association's annual conference. There are a number of practitioners out there, psychologists, medical professionals that subscribe to this Kinsey and thinking that where they think that intergenerational or intragenerational sex or insects incest, excuse me, is it's an acceptable thing. And it's bizarre to me, but his argument was that, no, this is how it was in Ancient Rome. This is how it is so. My point is that we have people that are diametrically opposed here to this idea that we should protect children. They're thinking the best way to protect children is to expose them at the earliest age possible because this is the best thing for them, Ellie. Well, this is an outrage because innocence is being lost. It's being violated. It's being stolen. It is a disgrace. And if our nation continues to tolerate this, then you can see we're not really at war with other nations. We're at war with God because not only in the Bible or scripturally, but even in the Greek, even in the ancient textbooks of the other countries, the Middle Eastern and all the countries, the countries of sodom and gomorrah, where the ancient art of we know sodomy. Well, that's where that came from from the township of sodom. And there has been archeologists to this day still trying to find the foundations of those they were called vast civilizations in biblical terms and that's Old Testament. But revelation speaks of it will be as the days of sodom and gomorrah. So God's wrath has been kindled, I would think. Because when you look around and little children don't get to speak their voice, like a raging lion. Little children are innocent. Little children are to be protected at all costs. And so in God's eyes, you can probably hear the anger in my voice. Amp that by 10,000 by 10,000 and speaking, I can't speak for my God, my maker, my master, but I can tell you, if I'm upset, I can only guarantee he is very upset. Yeah, it's a good point. Yeah, Ellie, I agree with you, listen. I think we can't turn a blind eye to this. And the doctor whose name I was drawing a blank on is doctor Carlton gadgets. That's a GA JD U.S. EK was an unrepentant pedophile and Daniel carleton. Google them. Check them out. Readers obituary in the Los Angeles Times. He died in 2008. This guy was a class, a D bag. Really was. And he was lauded by other medical professionals. This is the point I'm making, and he started doing this in the 50s. And Kinsey before him. So there are alive and well and these people teach in public schools. They teach in universities. They teach at teacher colleges. They are creating the next generation of people that embrace pedophilia as something that should be celebrated instead of something that should be punished. And it's a shame. Ellie, thank you for your call and for your passion and a big shout out to everybody listening on KMA. Let's continue. Let's see, Phil's been hanging on for a while. Let's go to Phil, KDKA Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Phil go right ahead, you're on with rich Valdez. Welcome. Hey, rich. First of all, I want to say this $8 radio that I got at the thrift store has been really good. I love your program. Oh, thank you. And I love $8 radius. Yeah. I just wanted to say that I had a job where I was working with this guy and he got upset because he wanted to be known as a girl, but he didn't look anything like a girl and nobody had any way of knowing that and it just got so ridiculous with the pronouns and how are you supposed to know what people want to be called? I mean, yeah, listen to this. So there's an old video or meme on the social media. And I saw it again yesterday. I've seen it a few months ago, maybe a year ago. And I saw it again yesterday and it's particularly funny to me because you know my family were Hispanic and it's a whole different vibe for us this stuff. And the guy has an accent. He's like the manager of a fast food place. And the video is from the person that is the aggrieved party, which is a transgender person. And she's complaining. She identifies as a woman. She is complaining that the guy took the credit card and called her a sir through the automated system at the drive-through. And the managers are pleading with her, but he's got a real thick accent. And she's saying, do I look like a man? And he's like, man, man. We apologized and, you know, he's like, I can't get into that. And she said, do I look like a man? And he says, I'm not going to get into that. And she says, excuse me. But he says, what's the name on the card? Is it a feminine name on the card? He said, we went based on the name on the card. And she says, no, it's not. And so he turns around.

That's Red's eats on the famous coastal Route one in Wiscasset, Maine, rain or shine from opening day in spring until it closes in October. Ryan Lewis lives down east in Rockport and got in line with his family after driving past Reds for years, whether it took us two hours to stay in the line or 30 minutes, it doesn't really matter. We just really wanted to check it off the bucket list. Further up the line. You can start to smell it. Yeah, a little loopy, a little giddy with excitement. You know, it's almost my turn. Pennsylvanians, Lucas Truck and Road and Emily Bell Heard about Reds on T V. You normally enjoy waiting in life? Not particularly. I don't seek it out. Okay, So what is it about this line? That's a great question. I have never waited on line this long before for anything, But then it was almost like I committed, you know, and I just have to I have to get to the end. Reds has changed hands a few times in the 81 years. It's been serving lobster rolls from this spot for the last 30 or so the shock has literally faced its competition. Sprague's lobster across the road on a pier overlooking the sheeps got River. So customers waiting at Reds can see it and how much shorter than line is New Yorker Isabel Sung wondered. House break stays in business like they probably the leftovers from From this place. Not so, says owner Frank Sprague. We get up to 2030, but it happens quicker here. Sprague says. He has more kitchen space, then red so the weight stays under an hour. I would say we're Sharing basically the same customer base. Some women are coming down here and what did they say? When they come down here? What's the deal with that line? A lot of people like standing in line. Massachusetts native Paul Lang saw the line at Reds and came to sprays. To me. The dynamic over there is that there's a line and there's always a win. And the perception is there was like Oz at the end of the end of the weight, and it's just like no, it's lobster and roll. The roles are usually cheaper. It's breaks depending on market price. 30 bucks the day I went.

Um, does this ahead pause for some of those people? Yes, it will it but hopefully not for a long time. Right now, With the some of the major projects we have going the biggest project That's happening right now is the rebuilding of the key legal bridge. There's only one way on and off effect. That island that has over 800 homes on it. We're hoping that this since the water into the debate into the bay does not damage the structure of the bridge. We'll have a resume of water next week. So if you're right if I take another couple parts apart, and I see that just bare concrete there Yeah. Oh, The courses. Then you deal with the plastic under them. Yeah. Then you're dealing with something different. Because if you put the vapor barrier down, you're 100% correct. You can get moisture that comes up through the concrete that the air conditioners handling right now. But it may not handle it with a vapor barrier on top, So you would want to do a moisture test. They got probes that you can use that will give you the moisture content of the concrete. Or if you got a big enough area, you cut a piece of plastic 12 inches by 12 inches, tape it down to the concrete floor. And if it gets humidity under it Yeah. You're not wanted to put that. Moisture barrier down if it doesn't get humidity under it in 24 hours. Then you're clean and good to go. Mm hmm. But my preference would be And initially it was just going to be no vapor barrier and live with what that might do to the work. And of course I listened to you. So I go well, she's why not have Coke and talk to Jim. Anyway, thanks for the in both so no, baby. No vapor barrier is not something great, big and taboo. I need to worry. What if that's what you do? Because if you read the instructions, they really push that on the concrete floors. On a wood floor, you know, like, say, a second floor of a house or something. Ah, lot of those floors can actually even be nailed down or glued down. It's not his critical on you don't need it on all floors, so it's really designed for the for the concrete floors. Mm hmm. Hey, thanks for the Helping I'll listen to the rest your show. All right, take care of Chris. And let's see here. 713 to 125874. That's 713 to 125874 any home home Proven question. You have pick up the phone. Give me a call in Let's talk about it here on Texas home, Prudent man. You know, if you're looking for a place to go look at all the different floors. They're available. Florida core is a great place to go to. If you're looking for those click, unlock floating floors and stuff and you're in an area where you can get some moisture. They actually have some that are moisture resistant and virtually moisture proof. I mean, they don't advertise his moisture proof, but I'm telling you, I took some of them, put him in the back of my truck and haul them around for a year. Leaving him out in the rain and stuff. You couldn't tell it. They they held up great and Florida Court carries like four different brands. That are that way, So it is available for you, and that's what you can use, like in the kitchen area and places like that. So again if you had a question 713 to 125874. That's 713 to 125874. We're gonna go over to a leaf and Lorraine, How are you? I'm wonderful. Thanks for taking my call. Hey, I'm glad you called. How can I help you? Well, I have a house in a lease built in around the seventies. I had a couple of different questions for you. I have a granite countertops. It's kind of like a galley kitchen. Um, and it's got like a four inch black splash. That was kind of connected by a clear stuff. I don't know what it was, but it's separating. Now the sink behind the sink is kind of like falling down a little bit. And the backsplash is staying where it is. You know, there's a big gap. And, um, I had someone come over that told me I needed to know. Jack it up that if I jacked it up And he could. Then he could give me I don't know what he was going to give me but I'm like, I don't know how to jack it up to you. Does that make sense to you, Jack it up. You know, I'm really wondering how it's sagging because if it's granite It, it would span across without sagging. Well, um, I had some foundation issues, so that could be a problem. Um, I'm not positive of that. But I had my foundation done around 20 years ago. And of course, it was a company that was supposed to guarantee it for life. But I couldn't get them to come out, so I had to have somebody else come out and do it. Um, that that really shouldn't play into it, though, because granite granite is rigid. I mean it. Yes. If you could pick your in your mind the backsplash separating from the flat granite, right? You know what? When they originally put it in, they put in that clear. I don't know what you call it. This is silicon. Nice cock. There you go. That's what itwas and now there's like I could stick my pinky finger in there. Yeah, and that shouldn't be happening at it. Neither one of those pieces of material should be able to move enough to do that. It's got to be something else going on. That's allowing that and.

And i just you know as always we we moved from you know we were on the air force base for a while we lived in iowa and then kansas after my dad passed away to live where my mom's parents were in a big open skies. And you're always looking up to see what was going on up there because you know. I was just kind of bored in small town. Kansas and My uncle taught me how to fly. When i was nineteen years old Down in rockport texas. What kind of airplane of piper warrior and I just you know even though it was a little stressful because he was kind of a screamer why it was it was i love going flying solo but when he was in the airplane i was just a little bit stressed out but i still have his His voice in the site you know in in my ear every time i'm not lined up for the centerline of it in even in a seven thirty seven. Now it's get get lined up with. What's wrong with you that just use a spring but it was i'm just curious You have a relative teaching to fly when you're not in the airplane. What was your relationship with him like. Yeah so i was staying in his In his house and that was it was just. It was a little stressful. But i in there were. There were times where he was like these. You really want to do this one. She just leave and things like that but when it was all said and done he was really proud. And i was proud and But i was his first and last student because nobody else wanted to deal with them. I guess but he. He came to my winging ceremony when i became a pilot And he was just proud a you know it is just the way life is. Sometimes you know it's not always good. It's not always bad. There's just getting bad mixed in but But i learned a lot. You know and i and i got the i got the license in like fifty five hours. I was there for two months from from zero to two private pilot just in the summer of nineteen eighty five. So that's the way to do a t to go. Full bore fly every day. If you can and get it out of the way right. Yeah and i saw that with the students that i flew with later so a way You go to college. I went to college at the university. Kansas and i was living in kansas can think. And why. why am i here in the first place. That's my mom's hometown. But i found out that the university of kansas was ranked in the top ten for aerospace engineering. And i was like well. That's pretty cool. You know so. That's that's what i wanted to learn. It was a tough program. But i got through it Actually with honors But i decided to join nato. otc The air force at the time was They weren't offering pilot slots Two people who were getting scholarships Be an engineer for the air force. And then you would compete for a scholarship later in a it just seemed a little too much ambiguity. Matt's of navy was saying we'll we'll give scholarship. You can figure out if you're gonna be a pilot toward the end of the program in You know it's needs of the navy. And all that kind of stuff so so turned out. When i got selected if i they told me i was going to be a pilot and then like they. You know four weeks later. I haven't graduated yet. They said well. We're sorry that we were badly in the back sears. Nfo's nfl stance from naval flight. Officer so i you know. Tail between my legs went down to pensacola tried to figure out a way to become a pilot and they said no dice Were just short on. Nfo's and that's in. You have a minute refractory error in your left dive. It's keeping you from minnesota. But i was twenty twenty in gotten in like six months before six months after they probably would let me go to the pilot program but at the time they just they were starving for back. Seniors in that may have been a blessing in disguise. Because like a year after. I got down there. They cut the bottom third out of pilot training navy wide because of the cold war drawdown and there were guys get sent home. We're getting cintas supply or know. They were surface warfare. That kinda thing and so it was. It was kind of an ugly time in the navy late eighties early nineties.
