"We were able to Facebook we were able to help these book grow social media for social goods, thou must the in the beginning of it to that. Facebook also helped us grow right, right? Because you you started as a Facebook. Why did you start as a face? I wanted to see that. I need dozen eleven twenty eleven for six months. We tried Facebook. But it was chaotic there was no search. So I knew that we this is while we were building our own platform. But for me if Facebook could have done it, I would have done I would have stayed there. Because in the end it was about to reach. Yes. Yeah. You know after you work for CNN where you reaching two hundred million people. I was to not have that and start from scratch. That was the biggest challenge is having an internet site. Wasn't good enough. Right. Well, I think like television like mass, right? In the end. I think if you do good investigative journalism. You don't wanna you? Don't wanna be in an empty church. Right. Exactly. That's a fair point. So a website would have been that. And getting I find it pointless to have websites more. I I said that the other day all my staff, just when I'm like, what are you? What what's the point of it? And they're like why I'm like, well, there's other ways to get your work out. And that's what I was trying to get. It's like you have to think really hard about where your works getting out. So you do this you get funding for you. Do initially was not right. Is that correct? Or so initially there were four or five of us above forty, and we had, you know, one of our our when we all came together we had we were mid career and senior. And so we chipped in. We raised among ourselves our seed fund is two million dollars. And then after that we were shocked. We started with twelve people and in a year and a half we grew to seventy five people, and we became the third top online new site. And I was like oh my God. And then we bought into this tech idea of you have pumped prime growth. By growing bringing in more people. So we kept it. I kept it at about one hundred people in rap ler. That's still where we are today. And the impact has been, you know, for the little groups that we are our impact is huge in the Philippines. Apparently, that's part of the reason. President -tario. Likes us so much. So which is to say, hey to. So we'll get to that in a minute. They so you you got funding from outside because that leads to where we are today. You got funding from the fourteen what I did is. I wanted to grow to Indonesia. Right. I spent a decade in Indonesia, and I felt here's what. Indonesia has right. The Philippines is a hundred million people. The median age is twenty three years old and a young population. And we are all on cell phones. The cell phone reaches. One hundred fourteen percent Indonesia's the same two hundred thirty two two hundred fifty million people and the median age is twenty two twenty three years. So I was like I want to grow in Indonesia, and how am I going to do that? I can take money from local tycoons in the Philippines who will have political interests. I wasn't interested. And I said who can I look out in the world, right? Who will be interested in the same questions in the same things trying to technology for civic engagement that was what we were after and I wanted to build so I raised another maybe it's about three million dollars. And these were our foreign they came in through a legitimate. Constitutionally recognised, investors, therm Investors dusters. are. And they're in the Philippines in rambler. They invested in something called Philippine depositary receipts in special class. They had to have believed in us a lot because they have absolutely no say in the way, we run the business. They can't sit on the board. They can't tell us what to do. But they give us the money and the same way to do investments and imagine that is what major network and north base media. I have to apologize to anyone I've ever criticized for wearing bans on their t-shirts where they don't know the name of the band like nirvana, Sherry, because you really get mad at people who were nirvana shirt, but they were born after nirvana was out right and the kit name a song. We'll guess what today the Rizwan apologizing is because I'm wearing a shirt with Ghafoor on it with an amp and I'm not a guitar player at all. So people think on musician, but I'm really not. Does anyone think he's. You know me just to be fair though. Scary, you are a fan of music, and a lot of music has guitars in it. So it's okay to wear a guitar. No business in that shero. The problem doesn't he play guitar? He doesn't listen to music that has guitars. He needs a turntable or an MP three player because only in this is to. He doesn't listen to ours. That's like me wearing a shirt with broccoli on it gives you don't talk Lee. Rockley, bro. You're you search shaming him. I'm shirt shaving. Don't shirt. Shame, guitar shirt. Poser. Scary. "Calling. I live in Salt Lake City a question about leftovers. I know they're your claim to be the leftovers Queen. So this is true. They will not the left over Queen over that s. Okay. So I work from home. My husband works in an office and I like cooking, but I only like cooking like twice a week. So leftovers in theory are deal for keeping lunches ready for the week, but I also hate leftovers. And I was kind of hoping for some tips for remaking westover 's or kind of. Making them feel less leftover? Yes. I think the best thing to do is to cook a big, five pound pork roast something like that, where it's cooked along time, it breaks down. So then you have this really soft tender Braise meet, yes. And then you can make taco. You can make a Brita, oh, you can use it rice soup, and you can add fresh ingredients chopped tomatoes, onions, put it in tacos avocado. So is just a little bit of protein and you can have refried beans. You can take him out of a can and just put them in a Skillet and fix them up a little. So just as a base, I think belong braised meat is really good basis. Do anything. I agree. I mean, roast chicken, rotisserie chicken or roast chicken. They've cooked yourself or any chicken, you know, you can shred up and do all the same things that Chris mentioned. So that works to pork. Tenderloin goes beautifully and salads and soup. You can throw anything into soup and make it more exciting. Canned beans are really great puree of few of them and throw all sorts of leftover vegetables. Slice up your pork tenderloin, but I think Chris's right, you know, that shredded stuff just goes anywhere or tortillas. You could make a tortilla pizza or also have a bowl. You can use Bulger. You can use rice any other grain and just put the leftover meat in some other toppings on top of it case. So fresco on top some fresh herbs little spice on top. Are you could make a me so sauce or you could put a fried egg on top. Yeah. Well, I've been doing like, I'll cook chicken in particular way with eater, so cooked or whatever. And then we do this. Put him in tacos, put him on salad, but I'm finding that my vegetables that uncooking Rockley in paradise and things like that tend to get kind of melody after a day or two. I'm just wondering if there any tricks for things like put on the vegetables or tips for cooking them so that they don't get quite so Soghi or weepy or growth. Well, when you talk about broccoli, it's a crucifix just like Kali flour and cabbage. The just are funky. I would throw him in soup. No, here's the answer. Don't eat Dale cooked vegetables, grains last protein less also. The other thing is should do for mentioned sauces, soy sauce, fish sauce, pomegranate molasses and a few spice mixes. Toga Arashi tar, all those things core salt at the end, just build a grain or rice, the protein, and then something fresh on top being rains rice. They lost carrots said, yeah, I think that's a good plan is just a matter of like having a four because usually I think about cooking rep hour and half before I have to actually stern cooking. So slow cooking stuff is something that requires a little more forethought on Monday. Yep. Thank you so much. Hopefully that will help a little tiny. Thanks, Holly. This is radio. I'm Christopher.

They're not a team they don't. Care about each other I think they're probably the financial pages. In the sports pages that was what I had to, say on that piece and it's made me.
