Jesse Kelly: Communists Purposely Destabilize Society
"-Communist Manifesto. you Now see why the book is rocketing up the charts. Jesse, you're so right. I've made this case on this show repeatedly that we fell in kind of the John McCain model, that, oh, if I just go up and vote down on changes to Obamacare with the infamous thumbs down moment because it didn't follow normal procedure. Then The Washington Post and New York Times will love me and the Democrats will say, oh, look, there's John McCain. What a dignified man. he respects procedure over everything. Maybe we'll consider Republicans. No, no, bro. That's not what's happening. You are dealing with people who are like, hey, that 90 year old, someone cut should his nuts off. He's playing with a Barbie doll. This is insane. They don't give a, oh, gosh, I hate FCC rules about procedure or the thumbs down. These people, what they only care about is the the destruction of the present system to usher in this new era of top down collectivism. That's all they care about. It's all they care about, Dan. And maybe the best example of this, it drives me insane is when I see these Soros prosecutors, when I hear them discussed on the right, the right almost universally will say they're soft on crime, prosecute. He's just a soft on crime, making him sound like some flowery liberal hippie who just happens to want to be really nice to criminals. No communists in the revolutionary phase from Lenin on turned murderers and rapists loose intentionally so they will murder and rape more to lies a society. These are communist foot soldiers intentionally causing rape and murder. And we can't even speak like that on the right. Instead, once again, well, I mean, he's soft on crime. Barf. Israel kills another militant commander in Gaza as Cairo presses on with efforts to mediate truce
"Israeli aircraft destroyed three houses apparently belonging to members of Islamic shahad in northern and southern Gaza, claims which have been rejected by those who lived in the properties. Children gathered by the rubble of the destroyed building in the enclave's southern city of Khan yunis. It belonged to un Jihad Al ara, where she said she lived with her disabled husband and children. In 2014, they hit the house and burnt it with shells, but we repaired it because we didn't have another house. Now they destroyed it again. Another air strike at a sprawling housing complex in Khan yunis destroyed the upper floor of one of the buildings, where Israel said a senior commander was killed along with two others. The air strike caused damage to three surrounding buildings. Residents Abdullah Hamad described an abnormal light in two explosions, and then finding his children crying in shock. When I reached them, I found them covering themselves with bed covers and screaming out of fear. The Breakdown
Will Withdrawals Drive a New Institutional Ethereum Narrative?
"All right, so there has been a lot of macro and big picture thinking this week around things like AI, so for the weekly recap, I wanted to shift back and catch up on the big crypto news. And obviously we need to start with the biggest protocol level event of the week, which is Ethereum's much anticipated chapella upgrade, which was actually kind of two upgrades in one that went live on Wednesday night after months of work. This was in many ways the culmination of Ethereum's transition to proof of stake. The key feature added in this upgrade was enabling stake Ethereum to be withdrawn. Some of the earliest takers have had their tokens locked up for years at this point, so there was rampant speculation around whether these investors would withdraw their stake to realize any gain or loss. Now it should be noted that over the last year the rise of liquid staking options like lido and rocket pool have allowed investors to maintain liquidity while still receiving their staking yield, which you would think somewhat reduces the need to withdraw to access liquidity for at least some investors. Also worth noting that withdrawals are limited by a cue system restricting the number of stakes that can be withdrawn per day. Going into the upgrade, the data seem to indicate that the demand for withdrawals would be fairly minimal. Last Sunday, ave founder Mark zeller pointed out that the concerns about a long line of stakers waiting to get out just hadn't materialized. He wrote, one thing they won't tell you, you can withdraw now. If you're afraid, you can voluntarily exit right now, meaning you'll be first in line to grab your eth post Shanghai, with Shanghai in three days, the empty withdrawal cues tell you everything you need to know. Zero panic. What happens if you exit now? You don't earn around two days of staking revenue. So around four 50 per node, then when Shanghai hits, your exit is proceed and you get your 32 eth back and all yield when it's your turn on partial withdrawal cue. Anyone can do it, no one is doing it. End quote. Crypto quant noted that 60% of stake de supply around 10.3 million eth is currently sitting at a loss compared to when it was staked. Some analysts suggest that large selling pressures tend to form around realizing profits rather than locking in losses, so this unrealized loss among stakers could in fact cause investors to hold their positions even though withdrawals are available.

"The 5 on four break, it's a problem, but it's not a unique problem to the Lakers. That's something you see around the NBA. Yeah. And I know Trevor, you've been very upset about it very vocal about your frustration with that this season. And again, the schedule is only going to get tougher. I think they only have 6 home games left the rest of the season. A lot of these games out of the stretch you have a big road trip coming up. Minnesota, Toronto, Washington Cleveland, and then you come back home for a game and they have three top ones on the road. So again, the schedule is all you're going to get topper. In the Lakers and what should be an easy win on the road, it gets a bad rockets team. I mean, what makes you think they're going to get up for, I mean, they've already shown they don't get up or Oklahoma City, let alone New Orleans. So it's aggravating, man. John Robertson Dallas said it's hard for a Lakers fan that you'd still watch every Laker game this season even with an atrocious season. Yeah, look, hey, you're a real one. If you're still watching right now, you're real one. I know some of the people in the chat didn't really watch the game, just kind of had it all in while they were doing other stuff. Understand, but man, it's not easy getting through some of these games. That's for sure. Matty James said, Trevor and Sean, any off season free agents that would be a good fit for next season or players you'd want to re sign once Russ is gone. Malik monk is a guy that I would love to see the Lakers resign Eric pink is over at bleacher report did a piece about this about that would be one of and we've spoken about this here as well. One of the potential pros of waving and stretching Russell Westbrook is now you're probably looking at bringing back Malik monk because now you can get into the mix with a full mid level exception offer. Now overall, I don't think stretching process is a good idea. I think it's probably not the correct path to go down, but that's the silver lining to doing that. That's the positive is if you do that, you can probably put yourself in the mix to hang on to a guy like Malik monk. Maybe you don't need to go there. Maybe you find out through whatever channels you need to that he'll play for the mini mid level exception, the taxpayer mid level. That's possible too. But that's kind of the silver lining. Other free agents that are out there, the free agent market is not very deep this year, and there's also not a lot of cap space. And those two things are connected. There's not a lot of cap space because teams spent their cap space because they saw there's not a lot of players out there on the free agent market this year. So it's going to be pretty competitive going after free agents. I don't know there's going to be a ton of different difference makers. I do think that's going to create to have very trade heavy NBA off season because teams are going to see they can't get the pieces they want on the market. So instead they're going to try to trade. But in any event, we've got plenty of time to get into the off season stuff. I haven't looked at every single free agent out there..

"'cause think about it. It's coming to a point. You're likely going to let Frank Vogel walk anyway. That's the point. Yes. The team is, the team has played like this for a total, probably about 15 games this season. And I get it, Frank boger does have a bunch of guys defensively who will lock in and play with the tense effort, but respectfully there's no way in heck that you should give up a 139 points of the Houston Rockets who are the second worst team in the NBA. That's an excusable and then the lack of effort that they've shown again for at least 15 games this year. And it just looks like the guys they just give up at times. And I hate to use that word because I think teams want to win and I think guys players the players want to win because if you don't want to win, why are you playing basketball? Like you're in the wrong profession, but they just look like they quit. Honestly, in, again, I hate using that term or whatever, but that's what it looks like. And I think part of that is slightly on Frank. And I think Frank's done some things. He probably regrets. I think the rotations have been lack thereof, not good this season. The offense has been bad unless LeBron or 80s going Berserk, the offensive is bad, defensive. Way to inconsistent somehow they're still ranking at 17th, I think, person energy, which the reliable I get my film from them. So there's somehow ranked 17th in the NBA and defense, but man, it's rough. So I would at least get Bohemia shot going into next season. I don't know, Daniel espinoza said, so what's the solution, Trevor? I mean, as a professional athlete, you should take pride in your heart and hustle. Agree. A 100% agree. And that's why I think that the only thing is that organization you really can do is say, well, let's see if a change of the coach shakes things up enough to get us some energy through the remainder of the season. Joining me is Sean Davis from Lakers nation dot com. Sean, I don't even know what to say. This was, that was brutal. That was awful, awful, terrible. And all I can do is laugh. Yeah, you laugh to hide the pain, but I wanna really quickly applaud all of Lakers nation, the fans are great staff for somehow managing to get through the season because it's been rough men and guys are real ones for stick it through I can't see right now how many people are in here live with us, but you guys are all real ones because if I have to do this I wouldn't be here right now. It's rough on for sure. Yeah, this is this has been really, really bad. This is particularly when you look at this game and I guess here's going to be my big picture point for this. My take away so when the Lakers when the score was tied and the Lakers had the ball and we're heading into the final play of the game, I'm thinking, okay, the Lakers they're going to get the last shot. And I was thinking, all right, even if they score here, the discussion isn't necessarily going to be, hey, the Lakers won this game. It's not going to be a celebration, really, because we all know what we saw. We all know what we saw the Lakers do in this game. We saw them not play basketball. Not put forth much effort, not really look like they cared to be out there. It looked like the worst parts of an All-Star Game. Frankly, to me. And the rockets have an excuse. It's a young team..

"In case you want to just go down off season memory lane. Yeah. But no, yeah, it's the most frustrating thing with me. Like, Deandre Jordan, I know, still has a pretty decently sized name when you bring him up with casual fans. But he's just not the same player and through 8 games. Because trust me, we saw this a lot with Marc Gasol last year who was also a very slow footed big who couldn't really defend as many actions. But at least Mark provided spacing and passing. Deandre Jordan was still definitely a law threat when he has space enough to get up there. But after that, though, he just hasn't been as good on the glasses I would have expected either. We had a lot of fans complaining about offensive rebounding for other teams, which means a Lakers aren't defensive rebounding. Deandre just hasn't been that good either. He just doesn't have the same lift. He just doesn't seem to get the boards that we expect pigment to get. That's been another complaint of mine. So not to dump on the guy completely. I do think he'll try his uses some nights, but I just think going forward long term, the best version of the Lakers doesn't have him in the line. I mean, 9 he had what, 9 boards tonight? Three of them offensive? I mean, that's not terrible, but still there were enough moments defensively where I thought this is going to be better when Dwight's in this rotation. Right. And I mean, to be fair, if you want some added context, they're playing the rockets who didn't have Daniel Tyson, the game. Sure. Because he was out for the night. So I think when you have, when you play other teams with more size, I think you'll notice that Deandre just isn't as effective on the glasses used to be there. Definitely is not makes that an even more curious move that the Lakers decided to go with the Andrew Jordan. Look, the Lakers and rockets tied in offensive boards, 11. They won the rebounding battle over all the Lakers did 43 to 38. But again, the rockets are missing their starting center. You would think that would be a bigger discrepancy there. Yeah, you would think so, but it just doesn't have that's not the case right now. All right. Let's take a let's do one more. One more question. You know what? One of the things that I've been doing lately. Because the last couple of shows have been solo. Has been our favorite moment from the game. And it kind of like a little de facto award that we throw in. So what was your favorite moment from tonight's game Matt?.

"No, I mean, I'd have to watch it again to you, but I did do a double take. It looked like it was about to hit the rim and Deandre grabbed it, which is why the rockets are falling goaltending. So I don't know, but what's worse there if you missed that badly or if I don't know, I don't know. It ended up in the song. So but I mean look, if whether it hit the river or not, if it was a total air ball, if he just missed the rim, then that's not goaltending. If it did touch the rim, it bounced straight off. It's not like it bounced up or anything and it would have gone straight into his hands. I'm guessing it probably didn't hit the rim because so many people were asking, was that a pass or a shot or what was it? We'll call it a pass, though, just for Avery Bradley's sake. Yeah, great, great corner lob. Yeah. All right, let's I've had a lot of people asking about this. I want to get into some other topics. I want to talk about Deandre Jordan. I want to talk about that's the reaction. I want to talk about him. Want to get in some other stuff? I need to talk about Anthony Davis three point shooting. A lot of things there. But I've got so many people talking about this moment and I know it's going to be our master lock in the night. So let's just get into it, Matt, let's talk about what happened. We already know we already know what it is. The master lock of the night was the referees taking two points away from the Lakers because of what they call this was their language, a correctable error. Where Kent bazemore got to shoot two free throws by mistake. They thought that the rockets had 5 fouls. They actually only had four, so they thought they were in the bonus. They gave Kent bazemore two free throws. He shot them. What was it a couple minutes had gone by? Sometime had gone by. And then they went back and said, oh, wait, we made the mistake and took the two points away. The reason why this is a master lock is because it rob the Lakers of a possession. If that was the case, right? If they had made that mistake, okay, but you just wronged the Lakers with that mistake by going back and fixing it because if they called it correctly, it would have been the ball out of bounds to the Lakers. Now they just lost the point and didn't get the possession of the ball. I have literally never seen this. I haven't either. In all my years of watching basketball, you know, I made kudos to the rest for trying to get a call right, but you don't take away two. They literally took points off the board. And you know, at the time, I don't remember what the actual score was, but I know the Lakers were up and they had maybe a two possession leader. But you take two points away. No, actually I remember now. It was a 5 point lead for the Lakers. They took two points away, it became a three point lead. LeBron was able to nail a jumper and put it back to 5. But that should have been 7 and a three possession game. And it had a real implications because like we said, the rockets could have won. Yeah. They would have won. So yeah, I just don't understand. I can't imagine that's in the rule book..

"Start thinking, this could be the one and how many people are watching this game because we're playing the Lakers. This is gonna be our night tonight. If the Lakers would come out defensively and just put the clamps on from the get go, that thought never enters the rocket's head and then they wind up having a much easier night, but instead they created problems for themselves by not taking care of business. That's not what you want to see out of a veteran team that knows better. Yeah, I agree. Look, the final score of this game was one 19 one 17. The last time these two teams met, it was 95 to 85. So obviously scoring was not an issue. And I cracked the joke on Twitter a bunch of times that defensive option was that's honestly what it felt like for most of the game. Obviously, you expect the rockets to be a bad defensive team. They're young. They're still growing. They're learning how to be professional MBA players, but you've got a veteran team like the Lakers under Frank Vogel, that knows better and still are outright trying to just outscore teams rather than clamping down defensively like you mentioned. So yeah, it's a little frustrating and this is what I was kind of referring to previously and other shows is that I still have no idea what the identity of this team really is. It's very Jekyll and Hyde. They look so great in spurts. I thought the Lakers that we saw against the Cavs was pretty indicative of the type of team we could expect to see down the stretch or going forward. But then you get nights like tonight where you're like, okay, I'm not too sure now. So it's one of those things that I know they're going to still be working through. And 8 games is still a relatively small sample size. But I do really think that, again, this is going to be the norm for the Lakers where we're going to get up and down performances for at least I believe, like maybe the next one. And that roller coaster fans buckle in. I'm going to talk a little bit about that too. The fan reaction, we'll get to that in just a bit, but toxic toxic bash Bosh from YouTube with a super chat..

"Dot com live postgame show the Lakers did pick up the win over the rockets a close one. They almost lost at the buzzer. Too close for comfort, not what we were expecting from a Lakers rockets game but got the win nonetheless. That's the important part. We're gonna break down the game here tonight. Quick reminder, if you're not already subscribed to the Lakers nation YouTube channel, make sure you do subscribe and don't forget to turn on those notifications as well. If you're coming in from YouTube from Facebook from Twitter, welcome in, we'll be taking your questions and comments. If you're listening to the podcast version of this, make sure you do follow us over on Apple podcasts Spotify wherever it is that you listen to podcasts. Joining me tonight is Matt the optimist Peralta. Matt, how are you doing, man? How stressful was that? Was that game? I am never going to be able to watch a Lakers game this season in peace, Trevor. This one was way too close for comfort, as evidenced by the last couple of minutes. Of course, the wind is nice, but it's one of those wins that doesn't feel too great. It shouldn't have gone disclosed and to be honest, the Lakers should have even been in this position to begin with. But, you know, the Lakers move to 5 and three, which is I believe good for third, now in the Western Conference and this early part of the season. So that's good. We're now 10% of the season away. So all things considered, things could be worse, but again, it's just one of those things where you wish the Lakers played better and didn't have to tried this hard toward. I think the frustrating part for me was it felt like against the calves and then again against the rockets, the Lakers had taken some steps forward, right? Like the last game against the rockets, there was never much of a doubt about who was going to win that game..

"Skills. And so i don't really see a world where mobile wins like the top three rookie year. Just because the stuff that he's good at is particularly the sort of thing that wins you now the rookie of the year. Even like predictive of it's basically just i. It's sort of like six points per game than you know. Yeah i i agree. I think you know i mean like you said earlier. There's very there's very rarely a rookie. Who comes in and is actually good late. And i do think this draft is going to kind of create a bulk of. I think there's gonna be a good amount of players in this draft you are rotational players for the near future How many of them are impact for near one. Will we'll see we'll very much cbo before we before we end. I do want to ask you two questions one. If you are in the rockets war room. I mean you might not know who the rockets wants today. But in your opinion at those twenty three and twenty four big who would you take a tough question And i'm in so much of it is tied to who you take it to. So i'm gonna toss out a number of names ago for Who possibilities i mean. This is a draft. Were again so many things are going to happen. Say something things can happen. Because i just believe so many things will happen. I agree yeah. it's gonna be wild night So you know we. We've tossed out a couple on if he stays in this draft. Oppression is a very interesting for who can do a lot of thanks. Ram he is a like a down l. player in a very positive way Probably going to be one of the leaders of repeat dumps Because a keep he truly believes he's going to dump on everybody He can give them a little bit of a playmaking role which is ideal or like. It seems like the style of guard the houston was going for. You're gonna need some big man or or some big wings and making To if the cup morley catches expecting to go on a high bicknell repossession.

"Name's image and you guys can find me on twitter at finding twenty three and a podcast at jazzy rockets. And now we are only twelve days away from the drafts. The rockets still have the second the twenty third and the twenty four th pick a little bit of drama going around with those picks maybe we trade up for number one and take gade cunningham and maybe we pressure you know detroit possibly take jalen green number one And there's a lot of things that can happen but today we're here to talk a little bit about some prospects of the rockets could take a some prospects in this draft and a little bit about how to go about the draft process. We're here with one. Of in my opinion the best guys on draft twitter of great at breakdowns. Anybody watch some recently. And if you haven't definitely go check it out Very very in depth. And i learned a lot just from watching those pd web pd. How're you doing today. We're entering stretch The most stressful times of the year of rumors were for trying to get everything done and trying to feel. Like you're in a good place but Yeah it's also the most exciting time it's it's very exciting and you know with the situation that the rockets are in especially with all the stuff that happened last year a three picks in this draft might just be the best way to kind of really get the rebuild started especially with the number two big and you have a guy that you think we should take number two but before we get into that. I wanna ask some things about the draft process and the process of scouting And specifically what kind of things do you look for in prospects What are the things that stand out to you. And what sort of attributes do you think are the most important. I think that there's not a universal most important I think the who. When i'm looking at a general prospect I'm thinking like what they're what they're nba. Skill is the thing that they're going to do it like a questionable in the nba. And then you know once once they have that skeleton say like they're they're an mba plus shooter than it's tearing you know what is that look like forgot korca's for catching shoot For a guy like a bone thailand bets shooting in in in versatile situations. And then you know to figure out where somebody belongs kind of. Try to thank you. Know what is the will how it a medium. tv's it's like has a good developmental environment team. That has a like a fine situational fit. What is the worst possible fit for them. Like what is the best possible but in kinda work from there. I mean my general idea is if somebody is you know in this draft process. There is a circumstance where they can be a really positive player as just trying to find the best circumstance for everybody and trying to find the more the the players highest likelihood of finding no good outcomes whenever you're looking at like these different attributes for players and seeing if they're translatable to the nba. Are there any kind of attributes that you know in. Your opinion are easier to translate than others. I think that like like soft skills always translate well so like really good communicators players with with good movement skills so the ability to turn their hips..

"I always predicted. I've said many times i think it's gonna take the fda three months to approve the applications from the time of first submission. I think that's a reasonable timeline. Might slip a couple of weeks. It might slip into early september. But i think the timeline of three months from the receipt of the initial application is what. Fda's working on in my view given my experience at the agency. So i think this is coming up in terms of what is gonna drive. I think on the margin. It probably will drive more confidence about getting vaccines probably are people. For whom the deterred from getting back state because it's not fully approved. But i think more likely what's going to happen is going to give Healthcare institutions and other employers more impetus to mandate vaccination once it's no longer experiment perceived as under an emergency use authorisation. I think a lot of businesses a lot of healthcare settings are gonna mandate vaccination going into the fall and it's got finally the yankees last night canceling that game with the red sox at the last minute. A lot of people were already. There are on the road waiting for that to happen. Why does it keep happening with the yankees. Just the test is you'd yeah baseball. I think it's going to continue to happen with baseball. Because of what what the environment is. You're very close quarters. You get a single introduction of infection to that setting particularly more contagious very like like adult ovarian and it's going to spread. Someone introduced it into that setting and spread through the clubhouse. What i don't understand why these baseball teams don't require everyone to be vaccinated. The individual introduce that infection into the clubhouse forced the closure of that game put other players on the disabled list costs that team a tremendous amount. And so why why. These baseball teams allow players to go into that setting unvaccinated and put other players at risk is hard for me to understand the other players that are at risk around vaccinated. So i don't know maybe they deserve each. I don't understand either the scott but If you're vaccinated you can't catch it. And so what do you mean who who are the unvaccinated people giving it to other unvaccinated people. There were some supposedly vaccinated. People don't believe you believe in. I don't know i. I have some doubts. You believe that people would be vaccinated today. That's my story. And i'm sticking to it or maybe they got one or something. I don't know i. I don't know what do you think how's it happening. You don't wanna congestion here. Tell scott what do you think. Look the reporting some of those people were vaccinated somewhere in back saying we don't know who introduced into setting where we probably never know. Because i don't think the yankees will disclose that but my hunch is that unvaccinated individual introducing setting in that kind of a setting. When you're close quarters some people even who were vacc- are going to catch it so with us on this. I want to thank.

There's not a huge pool, but a lot of teams have money. We're going to talk about the salary cap and implications for different teams. This offseason go into the next CBA agreement, and twenty twenty-three. And then log, About some, you know, some hypotheticals we'd like to see be brought up potentially in the next CBA agreement. So going on to start with some teams and just some of the biggest salary cap implications, this is Rockets podcast. So we're gonna go ahead and start with the Houston Rockets Allen. What do you think is the best move for the Rockets to go about this offseason? I mean, obviously there's a lot of things up in the air with whether or not that pick pans out, but we have about, I believe it's, we have about a maximum amount of space of about Seventeen million dollars this year. And that's, you know, if she, if we were to also get rid of Kelly Embrace Kap R. Kelly very well, if you're also able to get rid of Kelly, Olynyk scaffold, we have about Seventeen point, eight million dollars in cap room. But, you know, you get that number one pick that's about an eight or nine million dollar contract, I believe, in, in year one. So that brings you down a lot and you probably want to bring back a Linux or what do you think is the birth? The the best thing that like the rockets need to do. So there are two schools of thought out there. There's, there's a large sector of rockets fans who say Houston should show me about John Wong. Clear cap space that way..

I'm actually a huge akina. Lifelong fan a pretty big rockets fan and he was was actually the first episode of big fellas basketball back in june of last year. A significant have. I have a huge affinity for. This team is asian. But no one. I think i've ever met matches your rockets accurate. So let's take it all the way back. Talk to slow bit about the early days of the rockets and what that might have looked like for team. That didn't even start in houston. Yes so Actually the rockets didn't even start. Use the actually started in san diego in one thousand nine hundred sixty seven so the nineteen sixties. There was a space race. And like you know whenever you think about like oh houston rockets will. The johnson space center was built in usa meets in houston actually live really close to it. I like go. What used to go there all the time. Pass by all the time when i go to my house like great place. Actually team actually lives near there. He did his houses at state was right next to the johnson. Space center when you think about. It's like oh the name in the city kind of go hand in hand space city the houston rockets. But actually in the nineteen sixties. Sandiego had a huge aerospace industry and they were given a franchise in nineteen sixty seven hundred sixty seven. What happened in the nineteen sixties the space race right so sandiego was huge usually involved in the space race. There's a lot of city pride for that. And so the city decided on the name of the rockets. So we have the san diego rockets from nineteen sixty seven to nine hundred seventy one. The craziest thing about san diego is honestly like the history of that team literally goes back to your one. We have a huge name. The very first pick from the san diego rockets..

Lakers Nation Podcast
"rockets" Discussed on Lakers Nation Podcast
"Oh what just happened. It's like an eclipse know it was Anthony Davis. It was flying in. I don't know where it just shuts down everything the one kid from Houston tried to dunk on him trying to dunk on him. Don't do that. Don't try to dunk on Anthony Davis. He got it rejected in his face. He he's like when he does this on the defensive end the Lakers about Unstoppable and I said this in my pregame video I said if the Lakers played defense like they did in the first game against Houston thousands nothing Houston can do it's over the game is over before it even starts. Because Houston can't do anything with that. And so I guess that leads us to the question are the Lakers this good or is Houston this bad and I think it's a little bit of both. I think we have seen the Lakers flip the switch. I think we've seen a Lakers team that was really mad after the loss to the Spurs against Chicago. They tried to kind of get things going but then Anthony Davis came back and that turned things around a lot. I also think she has just just matches up terribly with them the way they're constructed right now and Houston came into this game knowing they would lose. That's really what it looked like from the opening tip. Houston's body language was off. They look like they wanted zero to do with the Lakers like they did not want to be out on that floor at all. I don't know if that's a James Harden trade thing. I don't know. I'm sure that's weighing over the franchise. That's that that's not an easy thing to go through for the organization's not a thing for the other players on the team rumors flying and things like that and then people have got to wonder, you know, well if Harden gets traded am I going to get wrapped into a trade in the next thing, you know, I'm being sent somewhere else or I'm being said she third team is part of a deal, you know, that kind of stuff can certainly disrupt team but the Rockets do not look like they enjoy playing basketball right now and part of that may very well just be they don't enjoy playing against the Lakers. There's no six wins in a row when you go back to the playoffs to for the Lakers over the Rockets. I feel like the Lakers not only are the Rockets going into these games knowing that they're going to lose its like they're traumatized like the Rockets are going into this just going please just get this game done as quickly as we can. And the Lakers came out with energy and made sure that if the Rockets had any little hints of competing with them, they snuffed that out like instantly just jumped all over them and said you're not going to come close tonight. You guys can go through the motions for the game. And and this is done. It's the Lakers are really really good. The Lakers are really good when they want to be but what we saw tonight. This level of dominance is a combination of the Lakers being really good and the way it's being not good not enjoying playing basketball together..
