"And there were so many things that are so not true that it's hard not to feel deeply disturbed by it. And to have somebody say, Oh, Best punch I ever threw against Robin, and she bounced from one wall to the next and was out literally praying that those things were in a climate where it's not acceptable. It's not rewarded. It's not congratulated. And that's something that truly means. A lot of people respect those. They have to. I guess it's legal. Sometimes they do. Sometimes they don't. But I didn't know that you could keep somebody are your story by doing that. I mean, Mike Tyson was married to Robin Givens. So it is, You know, he's weird. Well, according to her lawyers. They says she was heartbroken to have to send the letter to make them not do it. But she's been trying to move on. And she says she finds herself fighting the abusive, demeaning and false account of their relationship by Mike Tyson Nearly 35. Years later, he said he has not only made light of the abuse he inflicted on how he also accused her of cheating on him with Brad Pitt. Before they had divorce, And she denies those allegations. Amazing story that he tells during his saw his one man show on Broadway and maybe running upon grab pitting Robin Givens. What, once again, it's Mike Tyson. There's two sides to every story. So I understand why you can't tell this side Could he send a cease and desist? Said You can't mention me, Kitty, do you want to go to the legal drums? Do you want to go through the legal drama, possibly having a movie shelved or You know issues of not being able to put it out. I don't know how that could happen. And if she's saying that things aren't sure when he's saying they are, that's what the issue is. All right. Well, I mean, we name it would be someone a movie named gab in ribbons. That'll be the name alright, I'm in geology and that's your room report. All right. Thank you. Fashion History Now
"So this week April. I thought we were Kinda start talking about fashion wink. We're on the tail end of the month of quote Unquote Fashion Week. We are currently witnessing all the Paris runway shows and I thought this would actually be a great opportunity to suggest a instagram. Follow to our listeners. At Robin Given our OB. I N. G. I. V. H. A. N. She's a fashion critic for the Washington Post and pass dressed guest that absolutely. She came on the show and our very first season to talk to us about the battle over cy which happened in nineteen seventy three and it was basically like a fashion show face off between French. Katori as an American designers. Yes so that was an amazing episode but she is an incredible critic. She's very thoughtful and insightful about her coverage of fashion that I think a lot of our listeners will really appreciate for instance today. She's posting about the Balenciaga show. And she's saying that. The show is thoughtful but she says quote. Thoughtful just stressful. It's very ominous. I think it's kind of a commentary on climate change. I haven't read much else about it. But she also has been writing about kind of the feminist ideologies that Inspire Maria Grazia. Carey's creations for Dr. And how you know that. The fashions and the runway she presents don't really reflect those feminists beliefs. They still reflect this kind of feminine ideal of a woman which is a little counter intuitive or counter to feminism for all women representing all women. That's something that's I guess. Problematic throughout fashion she also has commenting about Virgil Oslo off-white collection. She just doesn't get it. I don't know if you've seen that yet. But he was sending like half Parkas and half tool dresses down the runway. Yes and not only that but one of those tool dresses was actually ripped off. I think it was from givenchy. I don't know if Jeevan she but she ought. There's definitely been comparisons to victor and Ross tool creations and kind of cut out creations. Like it's definitely something that's definitely probably been done before. But I thought the fashion writer Tony Glenville who you could also follow on instagram. How To really insightful? Commentary about some of the collections? That have hit the runway today and he wrote that it's time fashion. Stop treating US too. Don't care close. You know kind of these clothes that we can't really wear in real life. He says you know when you start thinking. The future and designing fashion aware in the real world think about fashion to keep and cherish and fashion to make women look strong and confident. It's not taking the fun out of fashion. It's actually thinking on the subject of fashion as Global Business. And he goes on. That fashion is a creative force. An employer of millions repository of tradition. And Crass let's think about how it can survive in the future and then I wanted to kind of talk to you about this April because he ends with costume belongs in museums. Fashion belongs in our lives and I was curious what your thoughts are on about that. Do you agree with him? Well I mean I think. That's some problematic terminology in terms of exactly how we as fashion historian. Use those words right because all fashion is costume but all costume isn't necessarily fashion. Does that make any sense? Yeah and I think. He's trying to distinguish between this idea of like fashion as as costume as kind of like this performance. Art as a something. That isn't really representative of what we would wear in every day and specifically he was talking about the mosquitoes down by Jeremy Scott. I'm recently which he literally had. It was very much a let them eat cake. Marie-antoinette moment with like tons of Pan Yeas and women in the you know those huge waves reflective of late eighteenth century fashion but they literally came down the runway dressed cakes and like references to eighteenth century panelled gown so a lot of people probably aren't going to wear those clothes. I guess the argument would be if we're just creating fashion for. I guess this like a federal shock value to send it down the runway. Is it still worth it? Should we be doing that or should we be more conscious of the environment and creating fashion? That isn't actually meant to be put on bodies. Well I that actually kind of leads me into the the follow that I want to talk about. Because you said WHO's GonNa wear these things? Well perhaps this next segment of the fashion buying public. Which are drag Queens? So I can definitely see some of those drag Queens on Rupaul drag race adoring that mosquito collection and I would like to recommend to. Our listeners is to follow an instagram account. Called at Drag Bombs D. R. A. G. B. O. M. B. S. and this instagram account is hysterical is actually run by the brother of a former dressed guests. Terrace ain't James. Who CAME ON SEASON? One and talk to us about the intersection in history a sustainability in the fashion industry but her brother. Jordan. He's hilarious. He is obsessed with repulsed dragway. And He's also obsessed with lush products. The cosmetics Carney and so what he does he finds pictures of drag queens and then pairs them up with the lush product that they're outfit and they are hysterical. Some of them are so dead on and so perfect. I showed it to a couple of my friends one time and I tell everybody to follow this all the time. And they're like oh no he has to be the designer of the products and the drag queens are his inspiration but no no no. No that is not the case. He's just really really good at this. So if you WANNA put a giggle in your day follow Jordan on drag vase and I promise you it's GonNa show Ganic smile at your face. I know and I just speaking of. I've never seen this account so I just went to it. And it's Jordan the Raven Claw Lachey. A master bather and he says no drag. Queens harmed in the making of this account. It is pretty incredible. How spot on a lot of these comparisons are. Wow okay well check that out dress listeners. Instagram accounts for you to follow and check out some other things for you to watch them suggestions of some films. I would like to suggest that I just watched. Actually this past week I came across. It's actually a couple years old but I had not seen it. It's a documentary called my generation. That's streaming on Amazon. Have you heard or seen of that? April I have not but you better bet I'm GONNA put it on my list now. I really really liked it Because it is almost entirely comprised of archival footage and photographs. So there's no there's no inter spicing with interviews of people in the modern day there. They just take those voices from those interviews. It's narrated by Michael Caine. It's kind of like has generation and his experience in the nineteen sixties and he interviews. People like famed photographer. David Bailey models penelope tree Mary. Quant twiggy Vidal Sassoon. People interviewed there so integral to this period. And this this documentary. That's really about in the nineteen sixties it just reveals how integral fashion was to the experience of the nineteen sixties by all these interviews. So I highly suggest checking that

I do love that both tells the Gabbard and Andrew gang outlasted Kamel Harris thirty times dire and Michael Bloomberg just kind of like was like you know I'm jumping in and why not why not Democrats are starting to realize but a little bit too late and this whole embrace of socialism thing is not great the conventional wisdom today the merging on Twitter it seems to me that Kamel Harris's put out of commission by Tulsi Gabbard because tells a cold or a cop but that's not really true come here is basically destroyed herself on the shoals of Medicare for all just like a little bit more and Gillam was the Florida gubernatorial candidate who lost a near race Rhonda Santis yes entire piece today in The Washington Post saying the Democrats have to fight back against the socialist label which is definitely a change from five minutes ago when all the Democrats are saying we can call ourselves socialist now socialism is the best instead and Gillam suggests the Democrats start pointing out the Donald Trump to cuddle up at his at ten pot dictator which again you're gonna have to explain that one to me when you are overtly calling for government controlled nearly every area of American life the Democrats I think a little too late they're realizing this get you fired left which is why again Joe Biden continues to be a durable candid despite the fact that he is not alive it turns out that living is not natural pre condition to being president of the United States you can mean that for like five years and be okay if Joe Biden is any evidence coming up Paul Krugman has an idiotic column in The New York Times in which you suggest that red states are dying faster than blue states specifically because red state values will have on Charles Murray to analyze those statistics.

"Just even if I'm here where you're out and about I think working and not just taking my kids at tennis tournaments and being a mom will hopefully open the door. We can run a little scroll underneath our thing. If you, you talked about to like you, you kind of hiding behind mother, but now you are. Yeah. Guy in Robin. Yeah. Right. Yeah. I think to have the current I wrote, I wrote my first book, like legal on a legal pad longhand, you know. And I feel like I feel like I've another book in me. I'm trying to figure out what that is. But I think that sends especially for women coming back to yourself and having the courage to make yourself your own project. I think we have a tendency, whether it's with men, oh, I can fix you. Or I can fix that or with kids. We're going to do that. But to real, let me tell you what I came to. And I don't know if this will mean anything to anybody, but it does to me when I was younger even now, somebody would say, oh, mind your business, and that was kind of like a bad thing to say to somebody mind your business and you know what I think one of the hardest things to do is mind your business. I actually think it's good advice to mind your own business. Make you your own project to be concerned with your own faults, and flaws and frailties, and even the good stuff to mind. Your own business mind is in take care of it. Takes some courage to mind your own business. And so it was a lot of moms here and we constantly like these little weight club. Yeah. Yeah. But the but the thing is at the end of the day, you can't blame yourself. You can only I mean you can't blame anyone right? Alternate comes down to us and to you are you're responsible for you. Right. And say, wait a minute. I, I have to take care of which women. I really believe we have to learn, I would put the oxygen mask on you have to take care of yourself. But I'm like, oh, wow, mind. Your business wasn't a bad thing. It's good advice. Omar minding my business my business. I think that I'm like, oh, wow. That was good advice on the playground or whenever. He said you have to fix. Yes. Riverdell long. We can't wait. We're gonna see a lot of rubbing gives ya. Yeah. Yeah. I hope so. And get to see the real meat. Yeah. Yes, my thank you. Thank you. Thank you. That was fun. Thank you to our guests, Robin Gibbons..

"Yeah. He talked to us a little bit more about what how was healing. Yeah. Mother something you don't hear beautiful, but yeah, it was healing. You know, this thing that, I believe, at least for, you know, that I feel like your parents start raising you and your children finish raising you, you know, I think your children really grow you up, you know. I mean, they teach you compassion and patience. And if your mom you know, they need you all of these things about yourself because they really know you as much as you know, them. So my grandmother used to say I know you better than you know yourself and you know what I get it. I say to my sons, I know you better. But in a way they know us too, but I think for me during that time United opted, my first son, and he was a baby. And I remember just needing a break and going away, and I used to like to write and I, I would sit right with him. And you know you're you're playing in the sand at the. Beach. And, and he thinks it's beautiful. And then you're like, hey, this is pretty darn awesome. Are you looking at the like you start to see it through their eyes again? And for me, they kind of made me believe, again in people, you know, and, and simplicity and enjoy. And so for me they were really healing. It's got a fresh start through. There is as opposed to anything that I might have been tainted by one thing. My daughter has taught continuing teaches me like, you know, we go away for work a lot, right? How old is she how she's nine? Okay. So, but this was like four. So we got stay at the London hotel, right in, in LA. And she really wanted to be at the pool, but word. You got a sign on if sorry emailing and she put her little handout, and she said, mommy, no pool. And I was like here, right? Julia. So we went up there, and I sat there enjoyed the Hollywood hills and I mean, we only do like thirty minutes, but it was like, no, I have to enjoy moment with our that happened to me, once with my son, my younger son, I Tyler Perry was opening up his new studio, which is like probably old compared to the new one and I just flown in from doing something, and that I was flying out the next day and my younger son, maybe was three four let's say where you going. And I said, I've got to go wherever. Joe's just broke out, and I just took off my clothes and stayed. But that's back to we were talking about the now. Because time is the most precious commodity, it's certain thing can come and go you get it. You lose it, it doesn't matter the time you will never get back. So it's really to me the most precious commodity. So having the ability to take the time, which is not my natural sensibility. I don't know about you. I'm always like you know, which is why I do yoga just to settle my spirit, you know, but to take the time, it's the one thing you'll never get back will looking back when you one female star. Did you see your career still going to be this far along? I don't know what I saw it was so much so much of my time in many respects at that time was like just survi- survival. I wasn't I didn't think this is a career. I just loved acting. You know, maybe I. I would have been better thinking of inter-. I just I cannot tell you how I feel about the craft of acting somebody was telling me like asking me recently, how I feel about social media or people coming into the business like a different way through like followers opposed to know this real. Yes. And I think I've learned to say, okay, life has changed. It's not gonna stop for anybody, you know, or slowdown for anyone, but I always believe people should love and have a respect for the craft itself, you know, as opposed to just splitting the fame, I was, I was, I think it was on Wendy's movie when I was playing Wendy Williams little. Yes. Yes. And there was a mod and this was years ago, but there was a model she was extra..

"Yes, yes. We can see you on the fix. Yes. Oh my God. But really quickly going back to ambitions just a bit is. Oh, I'm sorry, not emissions. But what you were talking about when you had the dim your light, you have heard. You say this, you were what you went through with Mike Tyson, ripe breeding ground zero. Right for what, what metoo moment right of calm? Right. What are your thoughts on? On that moment? Now on these women have an voice to publicly say with, you know, when someone is being abusive to them, and it's a notable figure. Right. Well, you know, it's so interesting that the world even when you just to circle back to when you first introduced the journey the and, and we're all on these individual journeys, and then as a society were all collectively on a journey. And that people have always as we were talking in the meet and greet about the power of social media and the phone. And then all the sudden now everyone has a voice even that way, the metoo movement started hashtag me too. You know, and just how the climate is changed so things that, perhaps were acceptable back in the day or not acceptable. But that you could turn your head away, you won't do that. Any any longer. And of course, I think that's a beautiful thing. And thank you for speaking up back then. I mean, I'm sure that it was very brave of you. Well, I don't even know for me if I was being brave it was just more about. Trying to live. You know what I mean? And you not only not only physically, but my spirit, you know, and depending on what you believe it's interesting. God works in many respects. But certainly, I think the climate for so many things to watch that change. Anybody that just everybody knows how happy I am about that. Yeah. For for not only for myself, and I've talked to I love speaking with women, and I've spoken to so many, women, Brown women, you know, Asian women want women all different shapes and sizes and colors that are that go through very similar things and. I'm happy..

"And then also there's your power, right? Because you didn't you didn't. And we can cut here, but you don't take any shit. Right. Right. Right. Right, right. No. She'll thank you. I made them because you didn't like you didn't know I wish I had known, you know, I wish I 'cause sometimes you don't realize you're in the moment and you don't. Sometimes it's hard to give yourself any credit for for for that. So I have to kind of accept that in a good way like complement positive. What do you think of have you seen the new series? No. I haven't seen. No. So I I'd heard about it, and I was not too long ago, maybe time go so quickly. Maybe it's actually been a few years that I ran into Eddie somewhere, and he said givens. The owners are you because it gives me a Robinson. Mon robinson. We did a classic who knew we were doing a classic. You know. So I have it when I heard about it I was kind of like. Oh, wow. Okay. But I haven't seen. I haven't seen it. Yeah. I think it's really their kids. Yeah. Yeah. In atlanta. Yeah. And gonna get to Atlanta second. Yeah. You mentioned briefly that region Harlem was your favorite. Well, I think rage was one of your yeah. Yeah. It's really one of my because I think I grew up these are the movies that I grew up watching, and loving and women, you know, Lauren Bacall and, you know, Rita Hayworth, you know, earth a kid, who you know, certain types of women the, whether they were, they were feminine, but they were strong. You got the feeling that they could keep up with the boys, you got the feeling that they could, you know, play pool with the boys have a drink with the boys, but they were still very feminine and what it meant to be a woman, or, you know, if Damon broad were in a bad word. Now you know what I mean? So I think she was that character that I'd always grown up watching, and I felt honored to get to, to, to play her. Well, I'm pulling up this, because this us from your Instagram. Oh, okay. And this is. From your characters from the new show coming out. Yes. But when I saw when you did this scene, and you walked in front of that death. I was like this. No one does this like running. No one that can be consuming. No one does this. Yeah. I love her would I mean I love her you play this characters. I mean this, what are you tribute your neck plant? I know you this. Yeah. But like you can eat you. So you place a will a woman not to be trifled with right. Who pulls no punches view? You will read someone for filth. Right. Not ever saying about work. Fred whitley. We did all did sparks together. It was me tear. It's she said you. I just I mean I curse little fused. She said about word but I just. Wow. You know, I I love being woman, and I love being a black woman really. And I love that, that there's a balance of strength, and minority and sensuality. And you can I think that's what's so wonderful about, but you can have all of those things, and maybe because I grew up with a single mom, I remember being at Sarah Lawrence, and they were discussing feminism and debating feminism at, at our cafeteria. And I was wondering if at especially that particular time in that maybe this was years ago. If black women I, I don't remember having a choice, you know, you went on a minute, for us as wack women, most of the I, my mom was in the school that I went to the only woman that worked though their mother stayed at home. So I didn't know effeminate applied to us in the same way. So I love that we can be strong, but I. I think our strength doesn't have to take away from our femininity or sensuality..

You're the to WWAFL dot C me, I wanna know whose side are you on Giselle or Karen, whose side are you on? I just hell. I guess excel, I think I'm on. Yeah. She was coming on a little strong berries. Why was it a problem if Karen wanted to layer in her room and go on Instagram, live, like it wasn't that it was a problem, but it was just she said, I'm tired? I'm resting. I'm grieving. I mean, she was in bed while she was doing. To sell side on this one finally underdo show ambitions, Robin plays, a cutthroat lawyer, but as a hardcore Potomac fan via away in on the ladies drama. I doubt she'd object. So here's what let's get Robbins guidance on some of the recent Potomac problems with given some advice, Robin, what advice, would you give Ashley and candidates in regard to their fighting about how much Ashley drinks while trying to get pregnant, any of candice's visit, I think it's absolutely none of candice's business. Okay. It seems like Robin and wine or on a good path to rekindling their romance advice that you would give them to stay strong as a couple. Okay. Can I just say, I'm so happy that you guys are back together? When they were doing it like rabbits. It's my advice to Robin is keep doing it like rabbit. Okay, what advice would you give Candace in dealing with her? Mom, does she need to cut the cord financially. So mom, doesn't have control Candice. You have to cut your mom loose, let her go. Okay. What advice would you give Giselle about her situation, which Sherman did she make the right decision? Breaking up with I, out. I think you're a little tough on. I agree with the therapist. What advice, would you give Robin who's having issues completing our first house flip on time, Robin, mom? Contractor, then I think it's time to call in some somehow somebody else. Let's lewis. "You talk. Speaking of when Williams you there. There's some of you said 'cause I'm a mother, but you said motherhood was been healing for. Yeah. He talked to us a little bit more about what how it was healing. Yeah. Mother something you don't hear. Beautiful. But it was healing. You know, have this thing that I believe at least for you know, that I feel like your parents start raising you and your children finish raising. You, you know, I think your children really grow you up. You know? I mean, they teach you compassion and patience, and if your mom, you know, they as you all of these things teacher about yourself because they really know you as much as you know them. So my grandmother used to say, I know you better than you know, yourself, and you know, what I get it. I say to my sons, I know you better. But in a way, they know us too. But I think for me during that time United opted, my first son, and he was a baby. And I remember just needing a break and going away, and I used to like to write and I would sit right with him. And you know, you're you're playing in the sand at the beach, and he thinks it's beautiful. And then you're like this hand is pretty darn awesome. Are you looking at the like you start to see it through their eyes again? And for me, they kind of made me believe again in people. You know, and and simplicity and enjoy. And so for me, they were really healing. It's got a fresh start through. There is as opposed to anything that. I might have been tainted by one thing. My daughter has taught continuing teaches me like, you know, we go away for work a lot, right? How old is she? How she's nine? Okay. Yeah. Yeah. So but this was like four so we got stay at the London hotel right in in. And she really wanted to be at the pool. But I got a word you gotta sign on if sorry emailing and she put her little handout, and she said, mommy. No, cool. Yeah. And I was like here. Right. Julia. So we went up there. And is sat there enjoyed the Hollywood hills. And I mean, we only do thirty minutes, but it was like, no I have to enjoy this moment with her that happened to me once with my son, my younger, son. I Tyler Perry was opening up his new studio, which is like probably old compared to the new one. And I just flown in from doing something. And that I was flying out the next day, and my younger son may be was three four. Let's say where are you going? And I said I've got to go wherever I go. Joe's God, eight just broke out. And I just took off my clothes and state. Yeah. But that's back to we're talking about the now because time is the most precious commodity. It's certain thing can come and go you get it. You lose it. It doesn't matter the time you will never get back. So it's really to me the most precious commodity. So having the ability to take the time, which is not my natural sensibility. I don't know about you. I'm always like, you know, which is why I do yoga just to settle my spirit. You know? But to take the time, it's the one thing you'll never get back. You know will looking back when you won, you know, female star. Did you see your career still going to be this far along? I don't know what I saw it. It was so much so much of my time in many respects at that time was like just survi- survival. I wasn't I didn't think this is a career. I just loved acting. You know, maybe. I would have been better thinking of inter-. I just I cannot tell you how I feel about the craft of acting..

"I didn't say that. Because he's still uncle I wanted to respect him. But that's what I was thinking with that said that same uncle who I loved dearly uncle Mickey guy. So he came with me to my first homecoming, I knew my mother was coming down. But I was surprised when my mother, and my brother came that my uncle guy out of the car. I was like I'm like, I don't get you know, you'll coming down homecoming. He's like, yeah. I want to see it. And a was interesting to be in the stands. I mean every yes, everyone comes with the halftime show. You know, shot out to ebony fire those or the name of our dancers and are are marching band. But it was something about watching the performance, you know, watching the game with my uncle. The same one who I love. But who basically told me you short chaining yourself by coming to this college? And here he was basically an admiration. I mean, really honestly he was in awe of the performance in looking around. And I could see his mind shifting and filling. I'll be honest sense of pride that here. It is his niece wasn't college. And she was having this experience. And I kinda gave him this look like told you do like come on. I want to say something else. But I can't say it on the show. But you know, like come on like, this is college. This is what college is not only about, you know, your your education or your GPA. But it's also about your collective experience to be honest with you being ended H B C. You are think really shaped me fully for the woman. I really am today there things I learned there that I still call on. Because I'm like that are only got that. Because I went to a historically back college. So going back to beyond say calling the her film homecoming really speaks to me because it is a true celebration of black culture. And it's also a culture that isn't celebrated enough. I mean, yes, bike did it in school days. Charleston did end drumline but still to see it. Celebrate it in this massive way with this massive audience 'cause you know that audience that was the first time, they even saw this even probably know what they were experiencing but me flashing back to last year. And watching it with my mother, three o'clock in the morning in on my computer in her living room. We were both like this is homecoming this is what a black homecoming is. And she just let the world know what y'all been missing out on. So that really is the beauty of that moment for me at at the end of the day. The essence of. Of what seemed beyond say take the platform of net flicks. And really show it to the world. But I wanna know especially for people out there who have gone HPC's. What is your favorite homecoming moment? What do you look for homecoming? I mean, as you know, people, you know, plan a home comments, you know, all year. You know, you start pulling out your outfits what you're gonna wear. I mean, it's a scene. It is a moment. So how do you when you go back to homecoming? How do you celebrate? How do you prepare? How often do you go back? I'll be honest. I don't go back enough. But are ready see this year because I have a niece shout out to my nieces. Who's birthdays are this week? I eat to be, hey, pay Taibbi birthday. But my oldest needs will be turning eighteen next year. She's looking at colleges so already know I will be taken her to Hamptons homecoming because I won't hurt a see that I want her to experience that up close. And I also like to say like this is the inspiration for beyond say this is where she got his from. So you can be inspired by your surroundings. So tell us about your homecoming experience. What was that? Like, you could tell us about your personal income experience. Oh, what was your experience watching beyond say this weekend? Please use the hashtag..

"Yeah. Before people were like, hey, you need to address this. Now, we all know about Mike Tyson's rape charges. But no one's no one's kicking them off of like anything. No one's like getting mad about he has a cartoon show, whatever or did. Yeah. You didn't about the rape charges? And he beat up his wife. When he was married to crap what the hell is her name. Now. I Robin givens. Oh, like he had beat up Robin givens when they were married. Yeah. Mike Tyson bit somebody's ear off. Yeah. He's he's always been kind of like. I don't know office. Rocker all like athletes are always kind of given a pass because it's like all right. Well, there brute strength and testosterone. Like, you know, like that's what they do. But with Louis, it's like you use your brain use your fucking brain. Again, our burns or controller Dick's, and I guess his dick is very powerful. One thing one thought I did have. And I don't know there's any validity to it now. But like when he first came back like if I go week without doing standup. I just feel shitty. Like, I feel like I'm good. I don't like going on stage after after close to a year. I guess I could see why the you have to literally do the most skilled bit of your life. Maybe it can't be the first thing you do. But so I figured like, okay. Maybe getting his legs back, and maybe he still is working toward it in a special that he has a deal for. But now, it does seem like the more it happens. It does seem like that's not the case though. Like, he really is just ignoring it now or not not going to address it. I think that he feels like I've already done my penance. You know, I paid my pound of flash now, let's just move on flash. Or heard about like, maybe you did. But then the point of it is to educate further, you ignore it. Then it's like it didn't really matter like just shut up about it. I think it's also that same entitlement. Of what caused him, dude? In the first place is that he doesn't think he he has to address it. It's like well like, I'm Louis CK. Of course, I can come up and do is set and not talk about this thing that everybody's thinking. That's the elephant in the room that I don't want to address. I don't have to address it because I'm me. And I think that that's like the whole light like when with the whole my whole like I feel like the gold standard of something fucked up and having to talk about is always been Richard prior. And like, you know, like that like milk and cookies bit was just like, you know, he that's the first thing he went head on and he leaned into it..
