Robyn Pfaffman: Tyre Nichols Video May Be 'Worse Than Rodney King'
"Robin, it's our understanding and you and I have covered crime new year's for years and you've covered some of the most high profile criminal cases in America. I have not seen a case like this where even in the aftermath, the immediate aftermath back on January 7th, where they would not even release the incident report. So we have no idea what precipitated the traffic stop. We have no idea what the encounter was. As a matter of fact, we were all led to believe by police in the early days of this that the guy fled from police and said he was suffering, he was having a problem breathing. Well, now it turns out, according to our sources, that that video is going to show three full minutes. Of this man literally being beaten to death at the hands, the literal hands of those police officers. Todd, it's outrageous. And again, I defer to Memphis police chief CJ Davis. In this interview that she did with CNN, she was very measured in her words, but she was very honest. And she said that the taste is really bad. She was outraged. And the other quote that she said was, you will see acts that defy humanity and that the video in her words is alarming. And I'm going to defer here to the police chief because I haven't seen the video, but I'm going to trust her. And if she says that it's worse than the 1991 beating of Rodney King in Los Angeles, then Todd, we have to we should be going with that, I do not like videotape that's taken out of context. I was not just a snippet. I'd like to see the whole thing like you're saying, what led up to the original stop of the driver, how to see then get away, how do they encounter him a second time, what precipitates the beating and his mother, by the way, says that her son was quote beat like a pinata.
Robyn Pfaffman: GOP Senators Who Passed Omnibus Bill Need to Go
"President Trump coming out earlier today and he is fired up over these 18 Senate Republicans who voted for the massive omnibus and an in doing so tied the hands of McCarthy and the Republicans in the House. He says they all need to be primaried. They gotta go. Agree or disagree. Agree a 1000%. They all need to go again, they're rhinos, and they're part of the group think. And they just go along to get along. They're a part of what Trump famously calls the swamp and the swamp has a lot of creatures in it that are very ingrained in below the sea level, right? You don't want to stick your foot in the swamp because it might get bitten off. And these are the people that just go along to get along. You know, Todd, you and I know these people personally, some of them. And they are afraid to come out and speak their mind. They may think something differently privately when the door is closed, but they're going to go along with the crowd. And you know, you see this in all levels of life, you know, whether you're in elementary school or high school or a university student or in the workplace, where someone will say, well, what do you think and people are really afraid to voice what they think? And that's how you have these 18 Republicans who did what they did in the Senate. And it terrible. 87,000 IRS agents associated 7000 needs to be down at the border. And speaking of the border Todd, while we're talking because you know that's my number one issue, having been through September 11th and all these people that are creeping into our country that we have no accounting for. Yesterday was completely bogus. I was ashamed. It was shameful. It was just shameful. Robin,
Caller: The Big Winner Is the Conservative Agenda
"Hey Todd, you know, it's great to be with you and you know I was listening to all these people saying, oh, it's okay chaotic on Capitol Hill and look at the fighting and there are a bunch of babies and all of this and all of that. And I'm sitting back watching my television set and thinking to myself, you don't look a big winner here is the big winner is the conservative agenda because these people, the non rhinos, the non Republicans in name only. They really had it out there on the floor. I'm from New Jersey, originally and I like a good fight. And you know, I'm not the biggest hockey fan in the world either, but when they fight in a hockey game, I love it. And I think that the more fighting the better, the more argument the better because I was very impressed that it's no longer going to be a house of sheep. All the group think on the left, everybody going along with Nancy Pelosi and now Hakeem Jeffries and whoever else down the road, I'm glad to see that there's some shepherds in the group and not all sheep. Yeah, I'm with you on that Robin. And again, it's not like they were out there caning each other, which I would have minded seeing, actually. I had to see how that works out. But I like to see a little bit of feisty this out there. Yeah, absolutely. And I think that the winners are the American people here. We have a lot to do in Washington. And there's been a lot of lies. There's been a lot of corruption. It's very irritating to people who have sat back and on their couch and they're watching this and we're sending people to Washington and they're not doing what they're supposed to be doing. I thought it was great to see chip Roy out there and Matt gaetz, whether you love him or hate him or however you feel about the man. You know, he stuck to his principles. He's not without issue. And some of the other ones, I
A Candle in the Forest
"Ready to tell you the story of the candle in the forest by temple, Bailey. The small girl's mother was saying the onions will be silver and the carrots will be gold. And the potatoes will be ivory, said the small girl and they laugh together. The small girl's mother had a big white bowl in her lap and she was cutting up vegetables. The onions were the hardest because she cried over them. But our tears will be pearl, said the small girl's mother and they laughed at that and drive their eyes and found the carrots much easier and the potatoes easiest of all. Then the next door neighbor came in and said, what are you doing? We're making a vegetable pie for our Christmas dinner, the small girl's mother said. And the onions are silver and the carrots are gold and the potatoes are ivory said the small girl. I'm sure I do not know what you're talking about, said the next door neighbor. We're going to have turkey for dinner and cranberry and celery. The small girl laughed and clapped her hands. But we're going to have a Christmas pie and the onions will be silver in the carrots gold. You said that once, said the next door neighbor and I should think you would know that there weren't anything of the kind. But they are, said the small girl, all shining eyes and rosy cheeks. Run along darling, said the small girl's mother. And find poor pussy pour up. He's out in the cold, and you can put on your red sweater and red cap. So the small girl hopped away like a happy Robin and the next door neighbor said, she's old enough to know that onions aren't silver. But they are, said the small girl's mother and carrots are gold and the potatoes are in the next door neighbor's face was flaming. If you say that again, I'll scream. It sounds silly to me. But it isn't, really, in the least bit silly, the small girl's mother said, and her eyes were blue as sapphires. As clear as to see, it is sensible.
BlockFi Sues Sam Bankman-Fried Over Robinhood Shares
"Now when it comes to the crypto contagion story, not much has changed since yesterday. There is still a conspicuous lack of updates from genesis and digital currency group, although some amount of doom posting has subsided. Whether that's because there's new information or simply declining engagement with that doom posting, it's not exactly clear. Still, for those looking for a sliver of hopium, yesterday, massari's Ryan selk wrote, I am 90% confident that genesis does not need to go into chapter 11. That would be a strategic choice, but not a necessity. Beyond that, the most interesting follow-up to yesterday's contagion stories is a bit of bankruptcy to Ted between BlockFi and FTX. If you listen to the show yesterday, you know that BlockFi filed for chapter 11 on Monday. Well, on the same day, they also sued Sam bankman freed. Their complaint is aimed at emergent fidelity technologies, which is one of Sam's wholly owned holding companies. The suit is demanding that emergent, AKA Sam, turn over, quote unquote, unspecified collateral, which would be interesting on its own. However, according to loan documents seen by the Financial Times, the collateral in question is SPF's Robinhood shares. Remember, earlier this year, Sam bought about 7.6% of Robinhood, which sparked massive rumors that he was going to try to acquire the company outright. So here's the core of the suit. BlockFi claims that on November 9th, which was of course when everything was falling apart for FTX, but a couple days before its bankruptcy, emergent signed an agreement to guarantee Alameda's obligations to BlockFi, pledging a certain common stock as a security. When it appears like from the outside and looking back, was that as Sam was frantically trying to save FTX in Alameda from crumbling under their own weight, he tried to get BlockFi to chill out on calling do some of Alameda's deaths by pledging his Robin Hood stock as collateral. Now, importantly, earlier this month, FT also reported that based on signal messages they had seen, SPF had at the same time been trying to sell his Robin Hood shares to various parties directly. Those sale attempts continued right on through signing this pledge all the way until the evening of November 10th. However, whatever deal BlockFi thought it had was shot all to hell when FTX filed for bankruptcy.
A Recipe for a Hollywood Fight
"Michael viner was the owner of dove publishing. He had a number of decent books that came out in the 90s, the most famous one was you'll never make love in this town again. And when I was dating Jermaine Jackson's ex-wife, Margaret Maldonado. She was working for him at the time, but for Michael viner. And one day she sneaked me in early copy of this salacious book, and no one had seen it yet, Margaret got the proofs and begged me not to show or tell anyone about it. I said, no, no, I won't. I'm not going to write about it. I just want to read it myself, okay? So I go back to the hotel or wherever I was and start reading this book and the proofs and maybe two years ago, I read a couple of the more filthy chapters on this show. The book contains a bunch of stories written by three prostitutes and one actress about this sexual encounters with a bunch of different Hollywood celebrities. There was a Robin and Liza grier, Linda Hammond, and Alexandra daddy. And inside are all these lurid tales of what these girls discovered while having sex with the likes of Nicholson Warren Beatty, Don Henley, Bruce Willis, Robert Evans, John Claude Van Damme, Mickey Rourke, on and on. And a very, very detailed stories. Whether they're all true or not, I don't know. It's just the horrors point of view. So my jaw was on the floor when I started reading this. A couple of days later, I'm at Evans house for one of his great get togethers. Robert Shapiro, Geraldo Rivera, Jacqueline bessette, Beverly Johnson, Neil sedaka, a lot of luminaries in addition to the dynamic to all of Jack Nicholson and Warren Beatty, who are always at Evans house back in the 90s, and now I have all this information inside me bursting out and I don't know that Jack Warren and bob know about this. And then my eyes couldn't believe what I was seeing. The publisher Michael Weiner walks into the party. And he lived a few doors down from heaven, so it kind of made sense, but I know all this information from the book he published and I grabbed Margaret and I go, what the fuck is he doing here? She's like, what's the big deal? I go, he's publishing a book about what a few hookers have to say about a few of the men at this party. But balls on this guy,
Caller: How Could Anyone Support John Fetterman?
"Say, it's unbelievable to me again. You know, I couldn't believe mulroy, we went here to Memphis, prime example, 20, 25% of registered Republicans got off their buds and went and voted in the important election. Let me get in get the win. So I thought, okay, maybe we'll learn a list. So now let me not necessarily tend to say did okay. But look, I mean, and maybe there was something going on in Pennsylvania. But you know, if my dog ran against John fetterman, I would have to vote for my dog. I mean, there's no way, how could anybody with half a tenth of an IQ vote for federman. Number one, and Robin even though the stroke, his policy are exactly what killing this country right now, and he's even farther left than those policies. And Pennsylvania, fracking capital, and he's against it. They need lives to everybody in their faces like y'all are idiots. What did they just say, oh, okay. I guess we found the truth. He changed his mind. I mean, I don't even understand it. I just don't know, and I mean, there's obviously no time to panic, so to speak, but whatever we need to figure something out, I'm talking about blaming everybody. Trump, I'm a Trump. I'm a Trump fan. I don't worship him. I believe in his policy. And I believe in Rhonda santas. You know, I went to Florida during COVID. I'm telling you when I went down there. It was like I was literally in another country. You are a man if you wanted to. Mother tonight, you didn't have to wear a mask, restaurants were open all hours of the night. You could do whatever you wanted to. It was unbelievable. Literally, I didn't know what had happened. Did I fall into a portal or something? But I mean, we've got to figure something out. This is unbelievable. I mean, is there some of the Democrats? Is there a different price they pay at the gas bomb? Or it's a grocery store than what we pay? Bill,
AJ on Harvey Weinstein and 'Good Will Hunting'
"I registered today that reminded me of the very wicked wicked ways of Harvey Weinstein. But this time he was screwing a guy. Now not the way you think. You got to go back to the days and 1997 when the smash hit, good will hunting was out in theaters, they spent 10 million to make that movie with Ben Affleck and Matt Damon and it ended up earning 225 million at the box office, one couple of Oscars, Matt and Ben got the screen playwriting award and Robin and Williams got best supporting actor, but there was some bullshit that occurred. You know, years ago I told you the story where Harvey paid Matt and Ben has started amount of money. No one expected this movie to blow up like this. All different types of screenwriters to punch up the script. In fact, word is the original script didn't even have a love interest that was played by Minnie Driver. There was some other things in the script that just in the initial script that Matt and Ben wrote that were not there. And Harvey had to do considerable amount of work finding script doctors to punch it up and he did. So when the movie time started to make a ton of money, Matt and Ben were very grateful, but there's a famous story that he told me where they said, you know, we really feel like we didn't get paid enough. I mean, in hindsight, they're right, but shit, the guy gave them their starts and they won an Oscar, but they still cried about, you know, we only got a certain amount and now the movie is over a 150 mil. And Harvey, it was in a hotel. He met them in a hotel, and I'm sorry, they called him. They had a meeting. They told him to man. And so I think about it. But he was pissed off. And then they kept hounding him. And he said, where the fuck are you guys? And they tell them what I'll tell they were at. I should stay put. And about two hours later, Harvey had a $1 million in a hefty bed, a garbage bag. And he threw it at them on the bed. And he said, I don't ask you another fucking thing. I'll kill you. I'm kidding, but I'm not. Now, then in that work, considerably happy back then to get a quick extra mill on top of whatever they got paid. I guess that shut them up, but that's one side of Weinstein. But on the same, the very same film. Kevin Smith, the director, was telling a story. That Weinstein actually pulled the movie from the fears early because he wanted to fuck around with Robin Williams Korea. Now, generally you hear him, you hear these stories about Harvey being this play with women. I've never heard much about him doing this sort of thing to a man.
Meghan and Harry Fear the Bling Ring
"Yeah, crime is up everywhere, man. Meghan Markle and prince Harry are scared. And their neighborhood. They're leaving their $14 million montecito home. There's no crime in montecito. There's not even flower boxes that get pushed over. So they have their sights on that. I'm very exclusive California private community called hope branch. People say the couple have, well, their current sprawling home doesn't properly accommodate them. Because they're a family of four. I don't know what that means it's too big or too small, but nothing I'm on aceto small, hope ranch is a suburb of Santa Barbara, California. Very affluent community, a lot of equestrians there. There's a nearby country club, there's a tennis court, a golf club, almost 30 miles of horse track riding trails, because all the 10% of the community owned horses there. The room while they're moving, this is the rumor. There was a news story that came out that there's a bling ring type of style, you know, out of area, death gang. And apparently they heard through the Grapevine that they had the Dutch and the duke and duchess montecito neighborhood on their hit list. Yeah, I mean, it's a great place to go Robin. It's got money everywhere. I mean, Adam Levine's out there, Ariana Grande, Katy Perry, Ellen DeGeneres. Yeah. Make a lot of money out there with a bling ring. And I don't want to see these two git hurt, but I wouldn't mind finding out they got robbed. Like a Kim Kardashian Paris style robbery. Megan Markle needs that. There's always something that's hard on them. The family was harder than the queen was hard. They want their privacy. Her stupid podcast, his complete befuddled face everywhere.
Amber Athey: Diversifying Your Message vs. Censoring per Platform
"No I don't blame you but I always say I'm not one of these goofball leftists who complains You know you want your stuff out there on every platform possible Honestly not that not to put you as Robin But the reason I got off YouTube though is because I found and I don't know if you're experiencing this too You know because you started on rumble and YouTube you're kind of insulated but a lot of people didn't And this is why I don't get into criticizing others A lot of them Friends of ours by the way They've been at this game ten years and they built you know hundreds of thousands if not millions of followers on YouTube and YouTube kind of has them by you know you know what And they self censor a little bit I know it because they don't want to lose that audience Now I decided to make the break I'm going to be talking about Google and true social a little bit later in the show I hope I get to it But I made the break because I don't like to kind of play tough guy with my audience I found myself occasionally doing that too Like saying things different than I would have and I swore earlier in my life I got mugged one time and I said I'll never negotiate from a position of fear again I went and started taking these mixed martial arts class or whatever And I got off there But I don't blame people for getting their message out as wide as possible But there's no question that people out there They do self censor because these platforms they know if they say something like this versus this there's potential for them to get bumped Your general thoughts on that I think it's a great point and I'm certain that people do do that I'm really lucky in that the podcast is not my main source of income So I don't care if you two demonetize as one of my videos It doesn't really matter to me if one of them gets scrubbed for me I'm just trying to diversify who gets to watch my content and try to make it accessible to as many people as possible But I'll tell you what if that was the only way I was making money it would change my behavior no doubt
Hulu's Mike Tyson Series Is Good Despite His Disapproval
"You can not sleep on the series about Mike Tyson on Hulu. The streaming platform Hulu. They had a way of doing things and putting the show together. It's in a really great way, the actor playing Mike Tyson is trevante Rhodes. He was in moonlight. He was in bird box. He gets Mike's mannerisms down like you can't believe. This guy should be an impressionist. Harvey Keitel plays the famous train of custom motto who eventually, you know, adopted Mike and let him live in his house upstate New York to get him out of Brownsville, but the scenes and Brownsville Brooklyn of where he grew up and what it was life, what his life was like brutal. Robin Givens his ex-wife and her mother, they come across as a really bad and conniving pair of women, but Mike's brutality in the ring and his brutality when he had his one man show his brutal honesty when he had his one man show. They kind of go hand in hand. And it wasn't until that night that he began to speak so honestly that he just said to everybody, I'm going to tell you all the truth, all right? I'm going to take you back. I'm going to tell you, I'm going to tell you everything. And that always turned me on when someone says that as a person who always followed people around and tried to get dirt, dig up dirt. It's the people who were just so honest that you don't chase his heart. You just go, you know, the guy said he has problems here and there. I'm not going to go keep digging up rocks. He is who he is. He's imperfect. It's the people who just lie and you just go, I'm going to catch this guy. So I love that honesty about Mike Tyson. That's what made America fall in love with him again. It's hard to turn away from. Unfortunately, Mike is not happy about Hulu, running this series.
AJ Takes on Trump on Howard Stern in 2001
"Sit back and enjoy AJ versus Trump on Howard Stern may 11th, 2001. Donald Trump's on the phone. He can't call in tomorrow because of a flight scheduling problem. So he wanted to quickly get on the air. He is not coming in live. No, no, he was always calling him. I did not know that. Donald. How are you? Oh, by the way, arch enemy AJ Benz is here. AJ is a nice guy. I like him even though he said negative things about me in his book. This one shaft is worth. That's all. I can't believe it. Did you know you went after his girlfriend? Yes. I stole his girlfriend, but I didn't know I was stealing his girlfriend, Robin. He's so nervous. Nobody told me I was stealing your girlfriend. Nobody told me that was your girlfriend. I know. Well, you brought Donald guy, so I have to believe you. Wait a second. Isn't it one of the greatest things in the world to be able to steal AJ's girlfriend? You know what? I've always liked AJ. AJ rightfully can't stand me now, and I can understand that. But wait a minute. At the time, at the time, I did something that I didn't know I was doing. I had no idea what was AJ's girlfriend, and it's one of those little things. Okay, I moved to LA as a main car breakup. So she was a free agent. You know, even though he's still up. So I don't know. We broke up. But then I got back to town, and I approached all of the party at Charles Evans house. And I said, hey, this is not so long piece of me. I love this girl. Now, stay away. I had naked pictures of your wife a long time ago when I was a cool guy and gave me the shots. And he said, you're right, I'm sorry. Chuck Jones was sent in the Xerox. All right, go ahead, yeah. And I gained it on his AJ, he was stand up guy. Then he forgets what I did from now. If he was cool, he would have walked away. I realized you can't make any girls sleep. Of course. I understand that. But as a man's management said, it is plenty of girls out there.
Student Loan Forgiveness Is Reverse Robin Hood
"We continue with the preview video on student loans. It's hard to imagine how we could screw up higher education any more than we already have. But we're about to, if we make student loan forgiveness, a reality. There's a lot in phrase that helps explain why. The phrase is cui Bono, who benefits. In the case of student loan forgiveness, it's first and foremost, the colleges and universities who can charge outrageous tuition largely paid for by student loans. Second, politicians who make cheap promises of debt forgiveness to win votes. And third, students from upper middle class families who would get taxpayers to pay off their student debt, who doesn't benefit? Everyone else. That includes those who didn't go to college and a new class of suckers, people who went to college and paid off their student loans. Student loan forgiveness is reverse Robinhood. It takes from the poor and gives to the rich.

Beyonce's New Album Is Causing Controversy
"Her latest album is called renaissance. It's the first one she's released since lemonade. Remember that hoopla 6 years ago? It's causing quite a stir in the business. Remember she's saying in the Super Bowl? Oh my God. A lot of shit in the business now because of this album. A couple of singles were secretly released. I don't believe that for a second. I'm sure it was coordinated without her consent. Yeah, sure. She knew what was going on. Another pop star, kelis, and the police, my milkshake brings all the boys to the yard and they're like, it's better than yours, right? That's kelis. Kelis went on Instagram to give Beyoncé some shit. 'cause her album has 16 tracks and it pays homage to dance music and she samples some iconic hits from Donna Summer and Robin S, Robin S recently said she was thrilled to have a work included. But now everybody's thrilled. Apparently, kelis is not thrilled because milkshake was incorporated to Beyoncé's album on the 5th track called energy. So now she's speaking out to claim that the song was used without her permission. And without getting too in the weeds, let me just say the production duo of Pharrell Williams because I'm happy and if you feel all right, Pharrell Williams and his partner Chad Hugo, they're known as the neptunes. They're listed as two riders of milkshake, which was released back in 2003, and kelis is credited as a sole performer. So she and the neptunes have a long and complicated history. We don't need to know that. They worked on a first three albums in 99, 2001, 2003. Who even knew, kelis has three albums. I didn't know. But either way, it's not my world. But according to new track credits for energy that you see on Spotify and Apple music, both Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo are listed among the numerous co writers on the song while kelis goes on mentioned. And despite not being listed in the song's credits, her involvement in renaissance was teased earlier last week after Beyoncé released an official track list naming the artists set to be sampled in each song and as a fan account on Instagram that put up the list, she repulsed the list of Beyoncé put out. And that got a response from kelis, who said that this was the first time she'd heard that her work was being used on Beyoncé's album. And she wrote in response to this fan, it's not a collaboration. It's theft. So right away, shots fired. And kelis went on to say, my mind is blown because the level of disrespect and utter ignorance of all three parties involved is astounding.
Previewing the Tuesday Primary Races
"We play cut number two? Let's play. I don't know which kind of thing. Cut number two from Brett bear last night when the round table with Molly Hemingway and Josh krosh are going on cut number two. It will certainly tell us a lot more about president Trump's full. There is a third Eric, by the way. Our friend Henry Gomez in Ohio went and found an Eric McIlroy on the ballots, and we're not sure he's out of it. But what Josh said is true, Eric Brighton will lose that. He's radioactive, credibly accused of rape persuasively accused of domestic violence against his wife and child. He's plummeting the polls, Eric Schmidt, and his successful AG. So the former president played that down the middle. He strong with white masters who's ahead, the Michigan governor's race. He is gone late for not Kevin rinky, who I thought he was going to go for. So we often throws a curve ball for people. But I think at the end of the day, it'll turn out to be something people still covet on the Republican side that Trump endorsement. Yeah. Yeah, so that was, yeah, if you're in Missouri today, go vote for Eric Schmidt. All right, go vote for Eric Schmidt. Go vote for Kevin ranke in Detroit. The Arizona primaries are today. I did not take a position in the Arizona Senate race to be Blake masters or Mark Bernabeu masters as it had, but it's not without a question. Carrie Lake against Karen Robin, Robson, and I believe Karen Robson is the better choice. But Kerry Lake and sheer neck and neck, primaries all over the place. Play
Tony Sirico Was Protective of Young Sopranos Actor Robert Iler
"Robin eiler is telling a story about how he was never messed with on the set. He said, but all this molesting stuff gets talked about. People always say to me, did anything ever happen like that to you on the set? And I'm like, you think Tony sorico was standing around, if there were people I made the wrong way, like, oh, rob looks really cute today. Tony RICO is just gonna stand there and do nothing. He just wants to be the second or third episode, Tony, come up to me and says, hey, listen to me. If anybody bothers you, anybody says anything like, you don't like, you tell your uncle Tony. You understand? That's how I, that's how I felt in school as well, he said. Like I was 13 years old and I was like, oh, this kid thinks he's gonna mouth off to me. I'll have Tony cereal come down. He said, no matter how old you are, you see somebody that has black hair on top and silver hair on the sides and just the way he always had a handkerchief in his pocket. And you go, you know what, this doable fuck anybody up. And that's the way Tony
Highland Park Shooter’s Father Sponsored Gun Permit Application
"In Illinois, the firearms identification card, he got his at 19, which means that his father had to sign and vouch for him. But he was not a danger. His dad really should be held accountable for that because there was at least two reports during that when he was 19. Were the family reported that he was a danger and he didn't press charges, but somebody like this kind of skirt that red flag law that Illinois has employees. That if he had those things, he wouldn't have gotten its legally. I mean, he probably expects he could find it. Otherwise. But his dad was running for mayor of highland park. And failed. A trumpeter Republican. I mean, Robin, this is why we gotta keep saying, we've got to have a blue tsunami and get assault weapons ban because we can not depend on people's judgment because in all of these cases it's bad, right? Generally the people around them, the parents, you name it. Or just in the general community of people that saw this stuff on social media, there's got to be a better reporting system and just, you know, a way to just, nobody should have a weapon of war. Nobody.
"robin what" Discussed on ESPN FC
"Surprise me if there's another reason behind the change of the name. So what I don't like them getting rid of the stars, it took them a quarter of a century to get the 9. So no, tripping right here. "Seeing. You know I think it'll be. I think it'll be a competitive market. In the spring i really do A lot of it depends upon the winter. You know that's six months between now and then A lot can happen by then But as you look at statistics and historic sales and what's happening out there. It sure looks like it could be we're talking with robin barrowman with livestock exchange for the For cattle market update. And and yeah to your point about things maybe being a little bit slower. I think some of these farmers and ranchers are trying to milk that grass as long as possible because of the the the cost of feed like we just talked about. Yep yep keep that protein source energy source up for him and you know it's a calendar meant to range and be out there not meant to be pinned up and they do better. It's amazing Just the stress level that they prefer but Yeah just make sure to do a little feed test. You know thirty dollars. Sure Tested for everything possible and and You know thirty dollars is cheap to to make sure that you're getting what you need your cows because your cows depleted you know. She starts going downhill. She's been going downhill for thirty days. And you just now realized that so You know just take that extra step and go that extra mile. Yeah no doubt robin. What are you guys have going on at livestock exchange home and we got lots and we we are. You know we all forty of us around here. We just try to keep things going and and So you know the guys that are here every day. It's There's a had dozen of those guys and we're just keeping things rolling so we do have our cap specials every friday and We have A red cow special coming next week on thursday and We have a nice really super nice brand to sell on that cow special as well and then Ellie auctions is getting prepared for their november six options for the end of the year until spring. So tanner some of those calves. We should have between eight hundred thousand calves for this week next week. There's already right at a thousand calves on there. So i do want to Recognize a few of these camps for this friday..

"Steve. Let's dive into week four. I got a question for you. I got like five teaser legs. I really like three our favorites teasing down to our underdogs teasing up. Do you have a strategy. Should i round robin. What are you thinking. But you can certainly round robin it or as i like quick calculation. Oh warning warning math coming so that would be what five toro divided by three factoria. Times to factor oriel in terms of number of combinations. So that's the three cancels so four times five. Divide by two. That would be ten different bets. Ross and united on each. That's certainly reasonable. And i think that that's a good strategy. That sounds like a lot to keep track of though to now is easy. Because you're you don't have to go through an adage one of them if you go to and three you're going to go one nine indigo three and two. You're going to go four and six. Okay so what. Are you saying. I do here. Because here's roy got. I liked the titans. T's down from minus eight to minus two. I like the saints teased against the giants reminders. Eight to minus two. I like kc against the easel. Eagles teas from minus seven to minus one and then detroit and atlanta atlanta from plus one and a half up to plus seven and a half and detroit from two and a half up to plus eight and a half. Yes so you're going to do every combination. So so it's ten different combinations. You probably want go one unit each so you don't bet too much in any one game. And it's ten different combinations. Ten ten best bets for you. So tennessee new orleans tennessee. Kansas city tennessee detroit. The atlanta new orleans. Kansas city new orleans detroit. I got man. But i'm really tempted. Talks teasers man. I'm tempted to go to units. Is that too much. It's yes it's too much. Because now you're essentially betting eight units on one of these teams and in terms of the teaser legs. So think about this we. We don't go more than three units. I don't think you should suddenly bat eight units on something. If it's like the greatest bet it's too high. You gotta have some bankroll management Okay i'm doing. I'm going with steve. I'm going one unit on each. Because you're right. If i do two units on each and i lose the one that would bother me so one unit on all five of those teaser. Legs that we just went over. Let's start with thursday night. Steve bangles are laying. Seven of the. Jags we're gonna have a little bit of a diversification here. Because i'm just play my teasers. Without wheeling them altogether like ross. It's but i endorse his basic strategy. Teasers gonna cincinnati. Why not since since. He's my seven autism down to my on. Wanna play to teasers. Two units each. Let me go ahead and pair them up with the minnesota vikings. I'll take from two and a half up to eight and a half or two units and also teased. The new orleans saints reminded eight down the mice to two units each of those teasers so four units in total on the bengals to pound the hapless jaguars..

I think it's okay because I have nothing to hide. Yeah, I use my other phone. For all my secrets that phone, not okay, but you're never going to find where I hide it. So it's cool. I don't think I want to go looking for some reason. You're not going to see my cheating phone. Let's say you're not as sneaky as I am, and you only have one phone or one computer. There's a good chance that your significant other is going to probably run across something weird one day, and that's why one of our listeners has reached out to us for help. Her name is Robin. Robin. What device? Did you snoop on? His real phone, His burner phone, real computer or dark Web computer. Well, let's get one thing straight. I wasn't snooping. Oh, okay. Hot, Robin. Upping is the key word there. Yeah, look at someone or snoop on What word? Would you choose to describe it as I was using my boyfriend's computer to finish a school project because my computer is at the shop while I was using his computer. I came across a folder. Uh, it was just screaming your name and saying opened me opened me. They're setting in here. You need to see my curiosity got diversity, So I see some might call that Snooping into a folder. Can I ask Was the folder titled, Like Secret or Something Stupid like that? They would obviously make you want to open it. It was untitled. Oh, that is weird. That's even sketchy. Do not open if it's my girlfriend, darling. Okay, So the weird thing about what Is inside the older it's they're all pictures of me. What? Why is that? Yeah. Why is that weird? Well, because they're like candid shots like pictures that were taken of me when I didn't realize somebody's taking a picture of me and they're like from a distance. Oh, like a private investigator took these pics. Something like that, you know, And I'm so you don't mean like candid like I was at the bar laughing and he got my perfect angle. You mean candid in somebody was hiding in the bushes? Stalker? Candid? Yes. Oh, I don't like that. Is this What do you know when these pictures are from like, Is this from before you guys dated? Um, maybe, like a few months ago. He must be might have taken them. What I mean, what was going through your mind? When you open this folder? I'd be freaked out like in my dating a serial killer. Honestly, at first I was freaking out. But then our two year anniversary was coming up at the time. So I figured maybe he was trying to compile some sort of like collage gift or putting a book together like I don't know He's in the making videos and stuff. So I hope that if he's going to make your videos, he does better. Yeah, it could be sweet, like Happy anniversary. I've been watching you exactly. And then a ransom note is attached. Yeah, okay. I mean, I like that. You give them the benefit. Of the doubt. Obviously, you guys are I'm assuming you feel like you're in a good space with your relationship, right? At least I thought so until there and to be honest, like I didn't say anything about it, because obviously, if he was trying to do something special for me, I didn't want to ruin the surprise. But then the anniversary came and went and no picture collage. Oh, uh, so he's saving it for the five year anniversary. I don't know. I don't know. So what now? What are you thinking of all I'm freaking out because I want to know what the hell those pictures are for What's really going on? You know, but that's why I'm kind of calling you guys. Okay? So my question is, Is this like a newer relationship that you're in? Like, how? How deep into the relationship, are you? It's been a two month relationship the whole time there in two years. They just had their two years. Okay, but you don't know him from before then. No. Why would that matter? Because it's I mean, two years, like two years into our relationship, you know, Know someone right? Like, clearly not like maybe they worked together for 10 years before they got into this two year relationship. I don't know. Maybe there's more history there or they were trying to scare her that he might have been stalking her longer. I don't know. I'm trying to figure out what the relationship is. You just know you've only known him for two years. Right? And I mean the relationship been great. We really don't have any problems like everything's in beautiful Except for this folder. Do you live together? Yeah. Oh, you live together, too. Alright, dude, Like he sees your face every day. Like, why would he need to buy the candid pictures? Yeah, Maybe he just misses. You know, I don't think I can't do anything right? And that's also creepy. Okay, well, cute here watching the she's He's suffocating her. All right. So what do you so what are you hoping to get from us today? If the reason isn't for something crazy. I don't want to freak him out. Yeah. You don't want to call him out for nothing? Yeah, exactly. Yeah, Let's not freak him out by calling him on a radio show. We're not that's coach right away. Yeah, it'll make it light hearted. Yeah, Yeah, we'll get some laughter in there. We're gonna play a song will come back. We'll give you a little bit of advice. And then we'll let you call your boyfriend and ask him. Why does he have a bunch of creepy photos of you on his computer? Oh, just effective record straight. It's not Are creepy pictures of me. It's just creepy that he's taking them. Okay,.

"It's ridiculous this man puts on a suit and time when he comes comes to see us. So it's a combination of golden mayors. What was seen as incompetence. It's robin what was seen as being corrupt. David been growing on being seen as elite. And all of these things put together. The country's ready for a change and in an amazing surprise bagan is elected in the beginning of november nineteen seventy seven and the israeli media. Calls it a mapa like which is kind of an an upheaval or a little revolution. It was completely stunning. Nobody in the country expected it not long. After ben not long after bagan is elected anwar sadat. Meanwhile back in egypt goes to his parliament and he makes the statement he says. Menachem begin than israel very surprised to hear that i am willing. I am willing to go to jerusalem at the speak to the knesset and to begin to negotiate with israel a peace now through. This was stunning. People on the inside of israeli politics knew that there had been a little bit of communication between israel and egypt through ceausescu who was obviously in in europe at that time. And just go and been told that you can trust beijing that unlike other israeli leaders he was told this guy actually says what he thinks and he means his work and begging immediately responds to sadat's overture and says you are invited to come to israel. And you're invited to come to land in tel aviv. You're invited the company jerusalem and to speak to the knesset. So that wants to come on a saturday bagan who is much more. Traditional than any of the secular labor party had been and also cares a lot about how religious jews in israel feld said. You can call it a saturday But after sundown you can come after show by which was his way of saying to sadat rule negotiate but this is jewish state. You're coming to keep that very much in mind now. Just like gold. The mayor had suspected that when nassir invited nothing goldman to go to egypt and negotiate. She thought it was a trap. Many israelis thought this was a trap. Also that the plane would come in from egypt. The doors would open egyptian troops would rush out of the door and kill all of the israeli leaders. Were there to greek man. And in fact on the top of the terminal israel stationed the large number of sharpshooters all of them aiming at the door of this egyptian airliner. So that if that was the case they protect themselves but of course that was not the case. I'm more so that came out of the plane stood on a red carpet and met it's robbing met. Menachem bagan met goal. The mayor met most of my on met all of the people who had defeated arab armies time and time again shakes hands with them. Warmly stands at attention for hatikva israeli standard attention for the playing of the egyptian anthem. So that goes to. Jerusalem becomes the first arab leader to ever address the knesset and he says he wants the sinai back but his willing to make peace with israel and many israelis are opposed to giving back. It's very clear that something dramatic is taking place in the middle east now. These negotiations are unbelievably complex. America in the form of jimmy. Carter gets involved in the middle. They go to camp david..

Welcome back to you both Familiar voices to a long-term listeners. I do want to ask you both quickly. I'll ask you first florence. What have you been up to since we last saw you here. I know the answer for everybody's is not much if you could elaborate beyond that. That would be terrific. Has been getting depressed at home for months and months i was trapped in this three months down here which was the longest in europe so it was not a good idea to learn that time. And that's it. We will be talking more about working from home on which you have clearly developed some trenchant views. Robin what about you. How many different ways are there of saying not much Doing much you're you're you're the eighteenth and so far where there aren't eighteen different ways of site on a walking in the park of been sitting at home i've been reading. I've been watching. I've been listening. I have a lot of thinking. Fortunately i have a couple of small children. I've been seeing them and they've been keeping me sane or insane but let's move seamlessly along into somebody who has been doing quite a lot this last week or so that easier as president joe biden he has returned to washington dc after his first overseas to a since assuming office in january the three summits he attended the g. Seven in cornwall. Nato in brussels vladimir putin in geneva provided a catch up with america's primary allies with america's least debatable. Adversary biden did not leave behind the trail of dropped jaws arched eyebrows and borrowed browse that he's predescessor caused on such joints. But what if anything was actually accomplished florence. First of all the easy question would you say he cutted a very different dash on the world stage to donald trump. Yes he did but this is not wet. The surprise of what happened actually. It was kind of relaxing g seven summit for example if you remember like this picture. Famous picture of angela merkel leaning for donald trump like very defiant with his arms crossed an all european japanese around. So i mean that was the end of this and Somehow it's it's kind of relaxing whether it achieved much. I mean obviously to chip that america is back that the relationship with the e u Will be different relax. Closer biden also said. He believed in nato in an article five of the treaty. Which means that you defend that has been attacked so all of this was absolutely the country of what trump had been saying and finally the summit with putin. If it didn't achieve much. I mean not achieve much with putin. Putin is not going to the country of what she said before but at least that was not that kind of incredible scene of donald trump Giving right to putin when he said he was not meddling in the american election so definitely whatever even if not much with achieved already. It was a big progress for robin. What did you think was it. Joe biden attempting to assert some sort of reset to normal and communicate the idea that the last four years were a regrettable blip over you get the sense. That biden has ideas of his own about perhaps using the fact of that blip to recalibrate america's relationships. I think it was both of those things. I mean i think the most important message to out of the g seven really was just a huge of relief from everybody that they had a us president who spoke the same language that international diplomats. We're used to. He observed the niceties. He's hugely experienced on the global stage. He knows how to do what needs to be done as for his summit with mr putin even mr putin seemed to say that Mr biden was slightly more serious character to deal with. Mr trump had been which is a nice way of repaying the loyalty thirty go from mr trump but yeah it was a change of tone obviously change of policy also certainly vis-a-vis russia. Less of a change. I think vis-a-vis china big change on climate change so If mr biden can actually translate words into action then yeah. It will have been worthwhile stepping out. Puff florence on the putin summit in particular. Does it strike you that. That was a well. Basically a good idea because putin clearly was alive to the significance of it. Indeed do a big rift noting that you know i get some to myself. Everybody else has together in a group and stand in line but he takes an entire day out of his shell. Jewel and i get an entire day over. Is it still. Is it still warranted. According russia that much significance when it has significant. So whether you you want to Warranted not whether it's putting who is the head of fresh or anyone there is. I mean you have to rush into consideration so definitely. It's not like not the same kind of i would nourishment than Trim gave to Kim jong un for example. I mean russia's not a marginal player and well yes i mean you give importance to russia because it's important and it doesn't mean that you condone the precede or whatever. It's always better to have a dialogue and you know to stay abroad and be only conflictual three. Get a sense from that some Robin biden really wants from america's relationship with russia is it. I mean this was how it seemed to me anyway. That biden seemed to have this desire. That china is going to be actually the thing. While i'm president. The less i have to think about russia the happier. I will be yes but i think he needed to say to the american people that he was alive to the potential threat that russia poses to To the western world in general. I mean it's not only cyber attacks. It's not only interfering electoral systems. It's the assassination of opponents for example on the attempted assassination say and assassination indeed on british soil It's the destabilizing way in which putin tries to further what he sees as russia's interests in israel says he is a significant figure whether we like it or not. I think mr biden has any illusions that he's going to change Mr putin's behavior but is important. I think for him to be seen to be sitting down with mr putin and saying that there are certain things that you are doing that we do not regard as acceptable and we are determined that you will pay a price unless something does change just a final quick on this floor specifically about the press conference that president putin gave yesterday and obviously in that context. He's going to get roughed up a bit in a way that he would not win. Giving a press conference to it exclusively. Russian crowd of journalists. Obviously but not for the first time in such a context. I got the sense that he was rather enjoying himself. That he doesn't actually mind a bit of given take a bit of pushback because it it gives him he seems to call enjoy the argument zika. Gb man you know. He can face an american journalist without any difficulty. And i mean yeah you know the question that are ours like yeah. Are you going to change. Or what are you afraid of asking putting. What are you afraid of honest into each. It was kind of a weird question certainly not journalists and as you say yeah there is a kind of a game and the tough guy and the leader and this is the idea is always trying to project to his own citizen to the word so to trump was that he likes being rude to journalists and so when he gets a chance to be in the same room with a they ask him a question he gives them a rude answer he enjoys it he knows it goes down well with a lot of russian people as well. It's win win spurs. He's concerned okay. Well let's move on somewhat. We will stay.

You gotta adapt You just gotta make some make work sometimes. Yeah looking back. You've already touched on a couple of things problems that you encountered looking back now. Is there anything you would have wished that you'd known when you started out and that maybe would have caused you to do things a little bit differently. Yeah i mean. I think it's a double edged sword. Certainly there'd be some things that we would be armed with knowledge. When i'm on clubhouse and i don't know if this is the same experience for all of you listening but when i'm on clubhouse i feel like i have to be an active listener meaning. Um, This is really great news that that's coming up from Europe. We're talking about a company called Still Antis. Which means from Latin to Brighton with stars. So what are we talking about? I'm talking about a company, which has just announced its perfect marriage with fit Chrysler automobiles on this is the marriage between the P ece and citrine group that we've been following for quite some time. Now this group has relaunched itself as still antis on in a nutshell. What is this really all about? Well, key toe. What This organization is going to do, I think is very, very exciting. It's going to allow each of the 14 unique groups. To be themselves to draw upon their own people. Drawer upon their engineers, their designers. They're mechanics. They're technicians. They're organizer's. Each of the 14 groups, which we're going to hear about in the coming weeks are all going to be allowed to be given their own head and to develop their own identity, And this is a special exciting As we're talking about the real take up off electric vehicles, and all of that entails..
