If you don't know tenure challenges post a picture of you in two thousand nine and in two thousand nineteen. I think we did this at the beginning of the year. And now they're dating someone hotter than their ex married person or what their divorce eight and that's the only people that are post pictures like that and it's Kinda shallow when you start doing that and one more thing before I let you go so we're getting into Thanksgiving when this past Wednesday. I'm never heard this expression before but it's called drinks giving because everyone's got Thanksgiving off so everyone goes out and parties on Wednesday and then they're all hung over on Thursday. And then you have. Everyone drinks around Thanksgiving holidays and everyone's beating eaten on each other and punch each other or having a good time. Whatever case may be and then you get into Christmas in Christmas parties and Business Christmas or company Christmas parties and Family Christmas parties in front front Christmas parties? And all that stuff. But there's a lot of drinking and everything going on this one place the Cherokee Recovery Village Bar in Texas is providing a safe place for so peop- so have another sip of beer their draft providing a safe place for sober sober. People can't even say the word sober people to socialize without the temptation of alcohol. So this place in Texas is a bar. That's open to the public but it sits on a recovery village and it says that we give you non alcoholic alcoholic drinks. So you can come in. Relax have a healthy beverage and kind of get yourself into going out with your friends in the dark crazy environment and not wanting to drink beer or drink alcohol now. Here's one thing that I've learned through addiction and and have done studies on addiction as you guys. If you listen to the past couple of PUNK UNCAST I've had several friends of mine that have died from addiction. One thing that I know about addiction is there's there's a there's a rhythm there's a step except one step two step three in connection with your addiction. My prime example is people who smoke anything crack meth anything like that. The striking of a lighter striking of a lighter striking of lighter stimulates the next thing you know whether it be burning the meth whether it be doing so they in treatment they remove lighters like you can't even smoke cigarettes. You can dip dip and do all that stuff but you can't do that light because the light is the first instance of starting your downwards as far as addiction or getting higher getting whatever ever so. This place is saying that they're having a recovery. Recover sober bar when you go into a bar. The first thing you want to do if you're an alcoholic or you're that what type person you wanNA drink. Hey I want to drink this place makes you wanNA drink. I sit in church. I don't WanNA drink. I sit in a daycare center. I don't WanNA drink I I sit in and whatever I wondering if I go to a bar or dark restaurant. This place has very very dim lights. Very very dim settings no windows that type deal. Guess it makes you WanNa do mix you when your party party makes you want to have an alcoholic drink or have a you know some kind of beverage so I don't know if they're recovering village bar in Texas. This is going to be a big head but there you go. It's it's out there if you're in Texas all our listeners over in Texas the Dallas Fort Worth area we appreciate you and I promise you guys on. "That's probably what he wants to do with this squad, and he doesn't want to spend that kind of money. I think it's pretty clear at this point. The fact that their communication has been poor. If you know if that only further to, in my opinion illustrates the fact that he doesn't value defense as much as he values offenses. Certainly he doesn't value defensive player of clear max talent as. As much as he wouldn't offense a player of Cleal mex- talent. But I don't think his words I going to diminish the amount that he's going to command. I see. I would disagree with that. I think if I just think it's if I'm Joel Siegal the agent of Khalil Mack, I'm using every little morsel that I can to use that as my own version of leverage. When I'm talking Reggie McKenzie who's going to actually do the damn deal. I'm saying, yo your your guys, the one saying x, y z. about my player. So why are you taking you? Don't need Jon Gruden say that everybody knows Khalil Mack. See, I understand that. But in negotiations it can get contentious. So if you have any little slight edge, I think you utilize that. What are you going to do? Play play, play the sound of John. I mean, you don't need to play the seventies right there for everyone to see in read and hear the tape. I just don't think you can argue that he's not better than von Miller. But when John says he is that changes the dynamic, so it doesn't look as if he wants to even give him von Miller money. Maybe. He doesn't. I don't show that's exactly why he wants to pay Khalil Mack a lot of money, but that's exactly why you're Joel Siegal you say, well, you're the one that said it. Not me. You see what I'm saying? Like those things are used in negotiation. I think if there's a question of talent in terms of second tier players, sure you can use people's words and use it to help give me. I. Tear on this tier work. You're talking Khalil Mack you. You don't need Jon Gruden to say he's really good disagree with that. Yeah. Poll. Oh, that's a word you ask pol- to put two. We got three hours extended the characters you can use. Yeah, that's true. It's two eighty screengrabs and everything there is that let me grab a couple of calls your Daniel Austin students talk about the brushback pitches and what happened with Robert junior of the Braves, yesterday prospect pitch or the the attended brushback pitch, which really was purpose bench where something in the back. Yeah, go ahead. Daniel. What's up guys in listening to y'all for about three or four years of big lakes. Get on my information from y'all. Thank you. Thank you. Anyway. I agree. Well, I didn't see the pitch on just moon by which I said, but you know, that's I totally agree in. That's like you don't wanna hit someone because they're hot, and, but my point I was making a Raj was. You've got to have the brush back pitch and baseball because that's part of stategy. And you can't let someone just dig in their heels and and dig in the box and pretty much cover all the plate. So I agree with you same thing for years ago, you gotta have that brushback pitch, but that wasn't a brushback pitch. Yeah, that was. Behind him basically. So that guys, I told you I used to work with rob Dibble. So part of the nasty boys, right? Orig-. Remember that late eighties early nineties. You would assume that rob Dibble hit a ton of hitters because of his reputation. I believe own number. I wanted to say seven, eight. I gotta look it up and he told me I only hit a, you know, a handful of pitchers doesn't or less are handful of hitters. Every single one hit was intentional. All the rest were bus breast back pitches. I knew how to brush someone back. We have control every single hit or hit was I'm meant to hit that person. So I don't believe in whole brushback got away thing. I think pitchers no-one. They wanna hit. Someone do. There's no question. I mean, you talked to guys, they know what they were doing Roger Clemens. I use the example yesterday when he hit might be as in the head..

"You can and cannot hit a player because the guys do know how to hit him in a way we're gonna potentially pairs heard something back to take a step forward to that where the guy lands on your foot. So you roll your ankle and badge attacking the baseball. We don't expect it and like he's been saying, I mean, with the way. That also media is bringing everything up. People are freaking out like this can't be happening baseball. And yeah, some place plays where the guy gets hit in the head and all is. And I do some before, like it's gonna take something like that for people to really freak out. And just like the lady said before, piggyback on that, I wouldn't be surprised at a guy really does retaliate like, oh, you're gonna go after me. I'm gonna go after Hugh, right? But here's the difference. So for example, you mentioned the stuff about putting your ankle foot out there and the ankle in the most recent example of that is as Pachulia in Colli Leonard, the NBA very swiftly that season that offseason added that rule where you can no longer do that previous to that, there was the Reggie Miller rule where he used to kick out his leg and people would pick up cheap fouls. The NBA and the NFL, at least have done the right things to try to do what is in the best interest of the sport and preserving health. And I made baseball's nine and baseball has, and you're in baseball the bat and the ball. Those are weapons, right. Being used in the game? Right. I mean, people don't realize that this is a small ball had a little record corn. As you said. I mean with how it tends to be thrown, the faster it is yet it will break bones and even the Batum you think about it, this is a solid object. I mean, this is weapon on weapons. It can get nasty really fast, and they'll be like step in and do something that the need to any unpire did it right. But, hey, this was obvious. We had to get this guy out and send a message that we're not going to tolerate it. Thank you. Weren't things back in that is I don't. I don't know. Many people consider baseball to the gentleman sport. That's golf soccer. Soccer's considered a gentleman sport. They flopped too much. Okay, Okay, fine. fine. Well, I, we continue this discussion. We get a lot of people on hold at eight, seven, seven, seven, ten years beyond if you miss yesterday, Robert, a junior of the Braves got drilled and Keith Hernandez basically endorsed him getting drilled and then other players around the league and broadcasters and whatnot have gone back and forth in are just not happy with what Keats said. So these unwritten rules in baseball continue to be a big storyline, but speaking of unwritten rules, there's an unwritten rule. If you are a head coach or in this particular case, someone who has personnel decision making ability and Jon Gruden may have kind of messed himself up a little bit, and we'll tell you what he said in just a second. We'll get your calls here on the latest episode of under in Roosen baseball already Arctic. If you missed Robert junior, the Braves game drilled on the yesterday. We did. We did. We had this discussion or part of the discussion was about the unwritten rules. And of course it. Reared its ugly head the next day. So we'll get to your calls here in just a second, but so Jon Gruden. Apparently has made a mistake already. Now, look, this is what happens when you are not. Involved in a sport in a decade. And particularly when you're running the show, you have. This opportunity to kind of establish what you're going to do right as a franchise. And I think Jon Gruden kind of slipped a little bit z also. Well, he was asked about the Khalil Mack situation, return of the Mack and he made these comments distraction, you know? So it's obviously been for me, you know, it's been disappointing, obviously, you know, you wanna have your best player here guys, really great guy too. So this point we don't have going to try to get married soon as we can. But in time in you know, you gotta move on gotta get up..

"Get to in a little bit. Jon Gruden maybe making the biggest mistake he's made as an executive, the raiders bringing Keyshawn back. We'll get to that as well. But more of your calls now where he was insane in the membrane nosy, by the way, if you wanna have a good laugh today. Listens to warnings Keyshawn George Nells e. Well, beyond that ESPN's Twitter account has just a really cute video this morning of fourth graders at Lowell, elementary playing the most epic game of rock paper scissors you've ever seen. It really is hilarious. You should if you just it's on my Twitter right now at Sodano ESPN EDA ESPN. If you don't want scroll through biens, Twitter feed. It just it's hilarious plate rock paper, scissors. It's been a minute, but yeah, but they're doing it by adding like like some physical activity to it, which is kind of cool part of the story. I did rock paper scissors. So resolve a plane issue. Yeah, they need is one of the men up front to go in the back of the plane to balance out the weight? Yeah, and then made his guy. We're looking at each other and I was like, all right, rob scissors. And funny part was I did. I did my thing right on three. Yeah, he did his on force so he actually was able to see what I had switched. No, he's still got it wrong. That's ridiculous. I was like, I was like, but you saw had a rock. Why would you pick scissors Just paper. go pay many papers pretty easy to to fake. Then you to be like resolve a lot of our issues that way in life. Man, I'm Rosa her little book tour fast. Second. It's funny I, we've been talking this morning if you missed the big story beyond the dodgers, you know, stopping their lose. We love job is the sport. Maybe love is a strong word, but I don't. I hate you now. Yes. So the dodgers get away. But we were talking this morning about the big story in sports, which is Robert junior of the Atlanta Braves, young star non had hit five straight home runs in five at bats, and then he had also eight home runs in eight games. I believe so first pitch of the game against the Marlins was eight Urania the pitcher just drills him in the back and elbow and whatever, and eventually tossed. But Keith Hernandez of the Mets broadcast who wasn't even at the game was just asked about it and decided to comment on it. Lost three, three home runs. You gotta hit them. I'm sorry. I mean people are not gonna like that. If you you gotta be gotta, hit him, knock them down lease. I mean, seriously, come down and never throw that the anybody's Ed throat anyways, head or neck if you hit him in the back, he had him in the fanny. Show that. Yeah, the fanny show. Yeah, that has sparked some stuff. So BUSTER only our colleague tweeted while you're gonna charge them out if a guys, no hitter. We asked the guy earlier if. If if Clayton Kershaw are Jacob degrom or some of the best pitchers in baseball are max Scherzer had no hitter and they're up to bat, would you would you drill them? And he's a gag? I don't problem with all that stuff is silly, but if you don't want to hear from us non athlete types you talking hall of Famer Chipper Jones tweeted this yesterday. So by this way of thinking he, he quote, tweeted the Keith Hernandez by that we just played Jacob. Degrom should get drilled just because he's the hottest pitcher on the planet. No, I enjoy watching him pitch and enjoy watching Robert junior play the game as well. I'm old school just like this broadcasters, but these comments are way off base. So even a guy like that, who's an old school hall of fame type guy thinks this is ridiculous. Brian is in the what's up Brian. Are you doing? Man? I I call in when this subject comes up and this is probably the second time, but. Baseball. It has such a microprobe twenty comes to this, and that's the reason that'll never change football. They found a way to change the way. People hit change the way guys hit so fake. This could be monitoring could be changing. I'm a coach and I played a little bit of pro baseball. This is the stupidest thing I've ever seen. I play on Sundays. You let it do hit me after his own..
