"They're be filming their first episode of season. Three at the i. Lanta culture fest again at the atlanta culture. Fess be there. i loved it. I loved that sense of brutality. That went into. It is funny too because i went into this match just going well. You know what jericho. He's he's gonna do some stuff here and there. But this is really going to be all about nick. Gage taking the ass whooping. He's going to be taken a big brute of all viciousness. That's gonna be coming because that's what he's built ford. That's his gimmick. That's his whole check. So yeah he's the one that's gonna really be jared going to be a pretty boy that's going to be coming out. It is really unscathed by to the contrary to the contrary jericho went into this. I couldn't have been more prouder of jericho's performance. I dare say. I dare say. And i will jump out there. I don't know how you guys personally feel. But i will jump out there. I felt that jerk performance tonight has been one of his best performances within recent memory since he's been in a e. w. data. That's honestly where i'm at right now. I really really had enjoyed it. Was it was that damn good. I you know i. I saw a a level to him. Tonight that i i always knew existed because i've seen it and previous years of his career but i just didn't think that he would be willing at this stage in his career. I just didn't feel as though he would try to rise to that occasion and really try to tell a great riveting story really try to go above and beyond to put a guy over like nick gage boy. That's essentially what he did. In his main event match tonight he went into this. He did not have acid in any type of way effort that he definitely has my utmost respect for sure. I mean yeah. Granted what he's been doing with 'em j. yafe that's been great. There's been some bright spots with this whole pinnacle inner circle few for sure. There's there's been some really cool stuff that's been going on but it's been kinda. Nah you know to a certain degree for me. At least i don't know how it's bad for you guys. But no no what he do. In nick age tonight was was pretty fucking sick. I it was pretty bad as an. I love the fact that nick gage came out of this. You know i know. A lot of people are fans of nick gage. I saw some of the stuff that was being put out there on social media about him. Hey you know. Why did they hired is bank robert. Weil why the hell they give this guy. The time and date is makes no sense whatsoever and is like hey everybody's worthy of a second chance hell. Some people are worthy of a third chance. Right mean as long as they're showing that they are they you know showing that they somehow are of the redeeming quality help people will always take a chance one them and i know that you know he. He's had his drug issues alcohol issues and everything. But you know you just hope that this go round with the spotlight that was placed on him. I i would like to believe that all of this stuff you know. It's happening for him for good reason. Because if he was somehow nominee we can't go in this direction of all the people to put time resources investment in. This guy is not one of them. I would like to believe that. Tony kahn in them. They definitely had serious talks. I'm sure that there was probably a lot of back and forth. I'm sure that There's probably a little bit of a feeling out process..

We hope you enjoyed that set from laps in the park in the mid eighties so to close things up as I alluded to earlier in this particular. Is Comic Musician, Robert Aguayo. We've heard him a few times over this podcast. He is a very finding musician out of Venice Beach California. He was seen a couple of times on the TV show the love boat, but he's really most famous for his musical entries into the comedy world. In this particular case, we had him write and perform the opening music for our TV series. As mentioned a few times, we had a couple of TV, series special on Fox. We did shows for ABC and CBS in this particular show live at laughs had A. Theme Song Written by Robert Wiles before I start this, I wanNA make it clear. This theme song for our TV show was written and performed by Robert Weil. But the voice over the singing on the piece is my partner Bob Stove owner. You also heard him as the drive through voice on the Carl's junior song earlier in this podcast Bob and I go back through many many years working together and many different companies. But he was my partner at live unlimited in a very creative guy. He was an animator did a lot of art Art Director for the company. But he also did a lot of voiceover work for our TV show commercials in other special things and I think we should shout out for his special talent. So let's hear that in kind of in this podcast, a Cornucopia of comedy was some great music. Here we go. Here's a theme Song Chart TV show. Thanks to Robert Weil for writing it and my partner Bob Stove owner for seeing it. Hope enjoy it..

"SARMAS. All about you know. Nobody's going to tell you the truth. Because the truth doesn't make money. Right the truth is not sellable right and You have to find the truth yourself you know, and you have to have your own that can have to be responsible for your own decisions and and the responsible for your own self and don't just take somebody's A. Somebody's bird for what the truth is because the truth is all about who's making the money, right? I was watching I was watching a movie not too long ago called wag the dog I don't know if you've ever seen this got Dustin Hoffman Robert Weil ago. I Love I love this movie and You know it is such a statement about you know how how the political world. Is really wrapped around the entertainment world than how the entertainment world could really influence the politics get on and Hell. We've got the Democratic National Convention going on this week and just all I've got to say his Ya you know you could see you could see exactly what you said, what, what, what the advertisers want to hear what's going to sell. Of course. Now, we've got the Republican coming on next week. So it'll be a completely different group of advertisers and a completely different story, right? So to me, it's fun I. Enjoy it I don't take it real seriously but I think that the the cry Wolf Song really just says you know. Always still people I I. Am not the Guy Nor would I be so presumptuous to say, I, can tell you what the thing is. I know the answer is because I don't. All I really challenge people to do is to think stop sit back think. I and the rest will come easy right another statement my dad used to beat at me all the time when I was a kid and and again as I've got older I realized the wisdom in it. But yeah, this week just stop and think we're pretty bright people overall right and you know. Stop and think. And that's what Cry Wolf L. About you know the. Please don't tell me the same thing over and over and over and over and over again because at some point just like in the cry wolf. "I mean that's why i. read that quote where he was like I also kind of appreciated the fact that he was like Robert Weil ready it and I've said that for years, so thank you, Flanagan for backing me up, but yeah I would be intimidated as fuck to take that on and the fact that he did it, and then was like. You know what no I'm not going to remake it I'm Gonna I'm GonNa Redo it in a different way I'm going to remix it I like it. That's smart in. He can hold his own like he's. He's he's not replacing Kubrick. He's not replacing wise. He has his own place in cinematic history and his own visions, his own voice in dots. Yeah, exactly why we're talking about Him Spencer, did you just on the same note of the Writers? I have to point out again with the editors. I'm sure he's got a team of at least two or three other people. Out with editing. I'm. I'm sorry as as an editor I know that there are assistant editors and assistant assistant editors that so. I think even in the visitations interview. He said I was just in the editing room for whatever working on whatever he was working on. And I think that you know he was probably working with somebody else anyway. It takes a village Spencer. Rant over now you do you're you're in this world way more than we are. We are fans, but yes, we need to give credit where credit is due and appreciate that he he does have a team that him make his visions possible, so thank you for pointing that out. Out, and it takes a village to make something like this to be shirt like absolutely for sure, and I think that was admirable to is that he clearly chooses the right people to work with. So that's why I think. A lot of stuff is so phenomenal because he's able to recognize I chemistry with this person they get my vision, and and that's important to to understand that and make that happen so Kudos, all around to Flanagan and his team, and every single person involved including like the interns that bring copy. You guys make amazing art, and we love it and keep scaring US please for the love of God bless us each and every one. Hey Man I like I, like new and original horror, and he's bringing it so I. Know we're. Headed like it was getting very savvy. Suren hate sappy I don't. I don't always savvy all right. Let's move on all right. It's analysis. Talk about some of the upcoming projects that Flanagan is working on and that we're very excited to see. The hunting of bligh manner, which is season, two of Hill House theoretically. It's a follow up to the Hunting Appeal House created and directed by Mike Flanagan and company for net flicks, and it'll be loosely based on the eighteen ninety eight horror novella that turn of the screw by Henry James while the creative. And many of the cast of Hill House are returning for blind manner. Fuck Yeah. The narratives of two series will not be connected. The hunting of manner entered production on September. Thirtieth two, thousand nineteen, and is expected to premiere on that flex in twenty twenty So an exact release date has yet to be announced finding tweeted in April. The blinders release date should not be affected by the coronavirus pandemic as they had already finished filming prior to production shutting down. Thank God because I really wanted to see this. Agreed I WANNA see it too so I'm glad he was able to finish one project because the rest of these projects that we're going to mention. yeah might be a while. And I do want to point out that there are already two films based on that Horror Novella. There are. Turning which came out this year which we haven't seen in the innocence from sixty nine. So it'll be interesting to see what he does differently, and it's funny, because the innocence came out around the star in it stars Deborah, Kerr and it's also a fantastic movie. So, this is the second time that he's GonNa. Be remixing a story that's very famous and has already been brilliantly done, i. have no doubt that he's GonNa. Kill it. He's going to be great. Yeah, I'm excited for that so. Next up, we have midnight mass which we talked about a little bit earlier, Flanagan will direct and serve as the executive producer on the TV show set to take place over seven episodes once again it's about an isolated island community that experiences miraculous events in frightening omens after the arrival of a charismatic mysterious, hot young. Thank you for adding that. I had to I couldn't resist character, names and descriptions are not being revealed, but we do know that Henry Thomas. And Anna Bet. As well as other Flanagan, favorites will be in the series shooting for the show, however was supposed to begin this last spring, but Duda Kobe that did not happen. and this is according to a February twenty twenty article on deadline by Denise Pat Ski. and I honestly couldn't really find much more recent information on this, so this is put on the back burner. Yeah until! Who knows indefinitely. Knows when all this is going to end Yeah Mindy Fuck. You Fuck you coronavirus. What's next is the midnight club according to slash Dot Com article the Midnight Club is in development. Clearly it will be a new series. That Flanagan is adapting from the night. The Nineteen Ninety Four Christopher Pike horror novel for Net Netflix's fuck. Yes, he has stated that he is a longtime fan of the world of Christopher, Pike and a variety interview. Flanagan said quote I began brainstorming and adaptation of the Midnight Club as a teenager. So this is a dream. Come True Kat Dammit I. Love Him. He also said quote. We will be incorporating a lot of his books in this series, so whatever your favorite pike book is, there's a chance it'll be part of the show unquote. Mass Resumes Filming Flanagan Will Likely Begin Work on midnight club soon after, and that's so fucking awesome I knew they were making the Pike story into a mini series I did not know Flanagan was the one behind it I think I'm GonNa Freak out anyway. Sharon well I. Think it's just a movie rate, which is serious series Oh it does say it's a serious bub-bubba. Yep we read those books. When we were young I loved those books. I'm sorry I did not like with him behind it. Oh my God I'm freaking out right now. Anyway. What's coming up sharing? What's next are so the last one that I have is. Heller on which prior to the release of Dr Sleep Warner. Brothers had enough confidence in the film that they hired Mike Flanagan to script a sequel focusing on the character Dick Heller on with the working title. On following disappointing box office performance of Dr Sleep, which I'm like that kind of pisses me off because I would love this movie, and if it doesn't happen because of the box office performance of Dr Sleep which should have made a lot more money because it's an amazing horror film. Whatever the projects basically unclear at this point whether it's going to happen I, mean is also unclear whether it's going to happen because there's a fucking pandemic. So yeah, we, we don't really know but according to den of Geek whether the potential movie which is under the working title. Is A prequel. Focus on a younger dick or something else entirely is. Anyone's guess is not even clear. If the movie is still happening at all, that's disappointing. It's very disappointing and I would love to see a backstory because yeah. Right. Dick Halloran he. talked a lot in doctor sleep, and also the shining about his pass with his father and his grandmother, and I think it would be a really fascinating story and I would love to see what Flanagan did with that what he would create with that. These US nature is crying at your news. Upon hearing that because it is now raining very hard outside. Finally? I've been. A thunderstorm alday day today and I was looking forward to it, so we could just stay in and watch horror movies, and you know be all like cozy while it storms outside and has yet to rain today, because weatherman cannot predict a fucking fart mother nature. Don't give. But yeah, that's all I have I. I thought. Spencer told me that there is actually like a few more upcoming projects that he was working on I thought he said Holy Shit. He's working on like seven upcoming projects like I said he is competing with James Wan to see who can sleep the least in just. Keep pumping out material, but yeah I thought there were more I'm looking at. Now and there's only I mean midnight. Club isn't even on this list, so I don't know what that deal is, and I mean maybe they because of Covid they you know they've taken some of these off because they can't really even be in development because they can't even work on the other things. Yeah I yeah because I definitely. Heard about the announcement of it of midnight club going to. Be a series, but yeah, you're right. I mean who knows literally like there's no nobody knows what's happening, so it could be that things are. Td. I'm guessing after you know. He totally finishes with post production. On the haunting of blind manner, he's probably just going to pump out like fifty new scripts, and I am so I. Can I'm sorry to be selfish, but I'm so why they finished filming that before the pandemic because I really want to see that and I'm like Oh my God. We're going to get new Mike..

"Kevin McCarthy and Dokes said warn you and yes, we've got another award. We were in if you recall last week Arkansas for the Little Rock, talion culture and food festival. Thank an annual concentrated on the food. Although I did attend a couple of cultural things in the culture tit. And the governor of the state of Arkansas presented us with a presentation naming us official Arkansas travelers and quote commissioned us to be ambassadors for the state of Arkansas. That's a big job. That's a big job. We got to get that up on the wall. I'm going to get a frame for it. This is kind of do it. That's right. Just like another Missourian who I don't know where he is right now. But he's going to tell us and this guy travels board, we do the author of all the things you need to see before you die at America thousand one hundred whatever Bill Kleveland, welcome to the travel planners show. Hey, you guys. Yeah. You know, Arkansas they offered me that award. And I said that sounds like way too much work give it the cabinet to play too. Yeah. Where are you right now? Bill. Right now, I haven't blowing rock North Carolina. Doing some filming in the state of North Carolina this week for a web series. I'm a together. Yeah. Love North Carolina is a great state, lots of beautiful scenery and death. You've never seen, you know, whether it's the smoky mountains there, you know, little farther to the scenery around this part of Carolina. You just it's it's one of those things that pictures, just, you know, doing Justice true. Yeah. It's a beautiful area. And you're been on a book tour for your first book, and I understand through the grapevine you're working on a second one wins gonna be out. Actually, just came out in parts called driving across America. And so yes, I've done some events for that kind of a book of short story about things that have happened to be on the road closely. Don't stop, you know, funny little anecdote interesting people that I have met. And so yeah, that's been a lot of fun catch talking to folks about the new book, and it's funny. I had a book event in Saint Louis area just a couple of weeks ago, and I had my both my first grade teacher, and my third grade teacher showed up for the book signing, and I think both of them were stunned number one that I wasn't a threat. I had written two books. I think they were very surprised you go keep that was like my band director who always said you're never going to make a living talking McCarthy. I gave a talk at one graduation, and I called him out on that you may you most recent thing before this has been the southern Illinois area, which they call little Egypt in some cases. And of course, along with that the great river road which runs the late in the Mississippi River, that's quite I think that's an undersold and under recognized destination. Yeah. It really is. I was tasked with producing video for those folks. And it was so much fun to do. What about it is? You can go to south west region. You can do to Connex American drive in one day brand. You're not going to do the entire drive of route sixty six degrees river road, but you can get a pretty good flavor of both of them. Now the great river road. Is you mentioned a moment. I think if they're experiencing a little bit of flooding, but. Dell from Alton up past jersey Ville up towards Quincy, and they're saying now that this may equal top in some places the flood of ninety three. So I guess we'd better figure out how it is. Yeah. Yeah. No kidding. But I assure you the waters will receive at some points there in here, and you'll be able to enjoy that enjoy that great river road. Right. It is it is really pretty specially at sunset to watch the go down on the river road there southwest. But route sixty six also has a presence as well. And you can of course, start the chain of rocks bridge cross that you can go to the the paint elephant antique mall, which I had never been to before. With a lot of fun stuff at you, see outside gigantic, pink elephants spaceship out there. And he's giant statues of people. I was really pretty neat. I think you're going to have that spaceship as a little summer cabin or something stuck in the woods. I'm dan. I looked up that was a pretty fat. They they made more. The antique they probably going to price tag. So he probably could have been if you wanted fan. One of the one of the thing to check out is the dock soda fountain and love the old soda fountain really repetition of of route sixty six and that's that's all the way up in Mitch Arar, Illinois. So you if you haven't on my website at Bill on the road dot com, kind of lay out the plans for you. If you want to go and take this trip, you know, obviously doing Bruce sixty six years coming back down after lunch going exploring all a little bit. As the Robert Waddell statue, maybe the Lincoln Douglas sites. And then the rest of the day doing the great river road. But you can do it in the with. But you can do it. About forty miles north of Saint Louis for listeners in its four lane. I fifty five there's also the bunny rancher bunny farm up there, and it's not the same as in Nevada much different situation. But it's Robert Waddell, the world's tallest documented, man. It's an amazing little drive alone. As you say very easy to do. Robert. The eleven into or so and went when he died at the age of twenty two and so STAN. I'm a vertically challenged guy by what six and a half. I believe was my official height. So standing next to Robert Weil really feel very significant for the masonic lodge. He was a Mason in Alton, Illinois has the original chair that was built for him. That is this statue has a chair there that is a copy of it. I have sat in that chair. I'm six four. And if I put my back up against the back of it, my heels, hang off the edge. That's how big this guy was he's amazing. Yeah. Yeah. Very interesting. That's also a little sad. You know, the story of Robert von lower. They. Like, a circus freak and some perspective, and that unfortunate, but the very interesting. Yeah. Absolutely. River road. And of course, route sixty six there in south, western Illinois. I have a video up at Bill on the road dot com or folks Facebook, which is just space with that complex Bill on the road. Just a quick little sneak peek kind of look at the drive and hopefully folks over we'll check that out. We are meeting. Our friends from the Czech Republic. Tomorrow on route sixty six year old chair Oxbridge they come over tours twenty to thirty medic time two or three times a year to drive from Chicago to L A too. Big deal in your route sixty six they saw the TV show. They red grapes of wrath and.

"I don't see any glaring except for the first game maybe glaring things that he did that they were by a better team. Let's face it. The three best teams in baseball this year where the Yankees the Astros and the Red Sox and the dodgers were probably fourth, and they beat all three of them, by the way before we get back to the Red Sox eight I'm glad you brought this up Robert because and I rob Ryan I tweeted this out the other night because I was at game five last year. Which is the craziest baseball game. I've ever seen thirteen. For the stroz. Okay. Please. Remember that the dodgers might be world champions two years running except in the two biggest moments of both World Series. They could not hold a four nothing lead. And when they lost game five to the Astros last year, they had Kershaw on the mound with a four nothing Laden. I forget he was like ninety seven and two and some crazy number when he had that big lead and this year they hadn't lost a single game when they were up four nothing and they they do not win game four. And and I'm telling you, it's it's just remind you I'm doing a parting shot about how fragile these big stories are and how they turn on these moments, but the dodgers could not hold to four nothing leads in the World Series. And now somebody else's won the last two World Series. Yep. Just we could go on and on about little things. But Mike, you we were talking, and I'm going to give you credit for pointing out that maybe a pivotal moment. Last night was when after Martinez lost the ball. Oh, twilight you gotta main on third with one out and they do not score. And by the way, missed their all Mr. October is at the plate any swing. Robert wall. Turner swings at the first pitch. He it's one out man on third. They're botchy tied the game at two all okay. And he hits the ground ball to Bogart's. And when they got when price gets out of that, I'm thinking to myself that is a huge change in the dynamic of this baseball game because Robert wall if you remember in the deciding game against the Astros. It did an engaging interview with AJ Hinch. Who's who I think is brilliant. Okay. And he honestly said that night you're seeing the ANC Zayed's of being behind in an elimination game. That was the night. J D had put the Red Sox up one nothing. With a home run. And man the longer that went on last night, you know, strike out after strikeouts. You could see it just grinding the dodgers into dust. I'm surprised the things I've read so far this morning. I would've made a big deal out of the emphatic punctuation ending it with six straight strikeouts. Oh my God. I mean, you know, that's a World Series. I don't have to worry about the people at Elias to find that out. And I just think that's extraordinarily exclamation point. On this entire season. We've been talking about what a wonderful start the finished season. It is has no season as ever ended ever ever ever ever in his playing along time to they've been playing baseball long has not ended with six with back to back to back. Innings of punch outs away by Robert Weil. I've got a question for you. Because my son started asking me this as soon as the game was over last night. And I gave them the answer that turned out to be right and the piercer price. Who? Pierce? I I have no problem with Pierce. I would have no meeting nor do I by the way. I if they would have gone to price somebody would said Pierce. I have I have problems with either..
