"Playing that sound bite for the teeth time because I love it Bola Gumbo. Because the the the the Gulf in between the person asking the question and Marcus Peters from Oakland, California could not be more evident in that sound. Fair enough. The real the real like beauty of that clip is is when he say. Right, right. When you stop smiling immediately. Oh, yeah. That's why I always like fair enough fair enough, sir. So you think something's going jump off? Right. Marcus peters. He's gotta keep to lead. Who is no. Bert. Well, like how about that? We're we're getting you'd better make sure Michael Thomas don't drag you round the field. Okay. Marcus. Marcus Thompson said that Marcus Peters. Robert Peters is a beast. Do that. Yes. Marcus, Marcus Peters. They'd get used pretty good. Let's not mess up. The narrative that Marcus Peters is looking to exact revenge on Sean Payton, I don't want revenge. Michael thomas? I'm sorta Gumbo. Buoy obeys type type way. You think he's just gonna go down? Right. Always gotta go down. No. It's not going to go down. Now, if he gets a pick he's going to do something sound and fury signifying nothing. He's gonna if he gets a pig. He's going to do something while Marcus Peters said I love the fact that he's a competitor. Just all respect to Sean Payton, and what he does I was pissed off. I didn't have the game that I wanted to have Marcus Peters. Downplaying his his comments that were full of Tabasco and hot sauce after the radio game. And ru. Crabs oysters. So we talk about football Gumbo point. Is this Marcus Peters? Downplaying he wants revenge on Sean Payton, I'm in agreement with you let Marcus Peters. Get a pick Marcus Peters. Go show. That's Marcus Peters after he got that call from Goodell allow we're gonna find you. But that ain't what he really think. We go find out what it really think. When he get this pick. Is he going to get one? You think? So you think so he's down his pigs. Are he had nineteen picks? I think is I two two years three years. I know that Marcus Peters got like three cents can be a a risk taker. But when he's at his best he's up there with Xavier Rhodes, he's up there with Jalen Ramsey barges Peters. I believe is one of the top. Let's say sits quarterbacks in the game. He had a down year this year, and he headed down year this year. I, you know, I make fun of him all the time 'cause he shot himself in the parking lot of a club a keep to leave being out. Put a lot of pressure on Marcus Peters. A keep to leave is really really really good. Because don't forget a few years ago when Toledo was with the patriots when they were having problems with their defensive backfield he helped him win Super Bowl. And when he was out the patriots were gettable through the air having achieved to lead back. I'm with you. I think Marcus Peters is going to have a significantly better game than he had during the regular. No question. Just because that's people like that. You know, when he circled this game when his pride on the line that he's going. He's going to play better. Once he said, yeah, I play back. He's going to play better. But also, you know that defense has to do something unique. Right. They can't just let the Rams do what they do. I know they're gonna you know, everybody is expected to run the ball. CJ and there's Anderson right? And and and girly you worked so well last week, they just can't let them just control the game. Like that. They're going to have to gonna have to bring pressure to have to do some blitzes. And I think that's where Peter shocked when he can go make a play on the ball. He's the Michael Thomas is is a beast though. So he's gonna have to bring I mean for the Rams I mean, really and once you get to this point in the season while you're talking about the best going up against the best in both of the championship games. It does become pretty simple. It becomes a game of who controls the line of scrimmage. You know, who who's who's who's lying play on both sides is getting it done and specifically on that getting pressure and getting pressure up the middle and with these quarterbacks all four of them, really not, you know, not just the the two the two old heads on their way to the hall of fame and Brady and drew Brees, but with Mahomes and Jared Goff. They're all too good for you to sit back zone that would be death chargers Anthony land, but you can't show them the same look. And you've got these pass rushers. Obviously, the Rams have have if sue and Donald on the inside they got guys coming out on the outside as well. You gotta get it up the middle. And if you could get that push just four or you bring an extra guide you get up the middle fine. But you have to get exotic all of these quarterbacks because they're too good for for you to allow them to get into a rhythm when they go. I know they're just going to bring pressure off the edge. Or I know when I see this certain look, I might get that extra Blitzer every single defensive coordinator for all four these teams they will have to take some chances and they're gonna have to gamble, and maybe they'll get burned maybe they'll lose. But if you don't show all four these quarterbacks something that maybe we'll make them think you've just you need a cigarette in the blindfold who who do you think has the roughest time this week? I mean, obviously, the easy answer is home against the homes against Bellichik. And you know, Bill Belichick. He's always got something. Right. He's always figured out a way don't quarterback going up against Bill Belichick. You know, who you bet on even if it is a talent like Mahomes, but is that is it that easy? Or I part of me has a feeling the saints have something for God. And it's it's a little bit of the saints. But it's also is that don't man I'm telling you, there's a there's a Bojan there's a voodoo in that dome. It's just tough to beat that team in that dome stuff. Just start happening. I'm in agreement with you. I just look at it. From the standpoint of they've been in this environment before even though NFC championship Superdome and regular season Superdome are different. It's still sixty five thousand saints partisans who get really really loud at the exact time, you need to if this were the first time Jared Goff and an offense that then I'd be a little bit more client to go all the way there with you. They've seen this before they've dealt with this before. So they won't be going into it unfamiliar and blind. But I can't see especially if there's an early pick or or or something of that nature. I could see if it has to be put all in Jared Goff shoulders at some point in time early. I could see that being problematic for right one could take the run game away. And it's all on golf. All right now, you you're you're giving yourself chance to real estate umbrellas just are dancing is over. Over that nation. Once they start dancing is over. You do by that. Now, nothing you can do. I just I kind of wanted to say the way just because I want falcons fans to be tortured. But here's what I find funny about the falcons saints rivalry because it is a rivalry. No one in the NFL outside of saints fans. And falcons fans know that that's a rival, right? They have no big. It was a rivalry when they were both track. In the seventies. When know when when you've got free tickets and loaves of bread, you went to college in Atlanta. So, you know, you're absolutely right on if say it's the saints walked into the Mercedes Benz stadium and won a Super Bowl at day. Not fans would be sick. That's not the thing like even up until the Super Bowl. They go bring the New Orleans party to Atlanta just be all in clubs, all they restaurants. Poor also everything. Making this right. All in magic city. Embiid. Man. And then if they went to oh, man. All those all those New Orleans Saints fans in Alcoa's territory is just going to be hilarious. If you don't want the New Orleans Saints all on Peachtree street videos. The Rams go to beat them. Right. So as one who went to school that ladder. Trust me. This is this is real. Current political climate has nothing to do with. This question marks. Thompson can't be our insider, my partner today senior writer for the ethnic. Are we here for the halftime show with Travis Scott and big boy just from a musical standpoint. Are we here for the halftime show? I'm here for sicko. Right. That's that's what he's I left foot. You know, we do a lot of tire changers and stuff. So they help out Buena Vista tires. And then we still have all the day's I'll booze and that's about it for now. Nothing wrong with. I use. I've used you guys. And I'm telling you guys are mazing and folks to by the white gloves a real. Yeah. Yeah. The guys are kind of going for the door with the on the guys are kind of goofy. But but the gloves are awesome. Right. Hey, they're having fun that that's the main thing. I wanted to hear about the last night. I wanna. Tell us about Ventura. You got any news on that? Yeah. We got up there super nice track. I guess they just recently did some work to it. And they got it all super Bank now. So we got there, and they do a different big time to do a little bit different than Borana. We do like a qualifying hot laps and qualified for for my heat race. So started out my heat race and made my way to the front and just took off. And I guess I set the fastest lap time of the night. Oh, yeah. That's fun. Yeah. And I got a kind of a crappy Bill draw which sent me back to fifth in the main and second lap got a little over excited. You know, Gators got to me, and I spun out what's that mean to the back? But then I made my way all the way back to third place and press. It was exciting while yellow but pretty it was kind of a one lane track. You know, everybody stayed to the bottom, but it was fun. We had a lot of fun. Everybody up there. A super nice. Surprised? I'm dead serious. Because when we were there watching the some of the racers didn't exactly have a great attitude when they won and stuff like that and their speeches. Yeah, they were unsportsmanlike. And so yeah that guy, but that's not coming out. That's not coming out of Borana. No, no. I'm talking about you know, that there are some locals that didn't exactly have a good reputation for being sportsman get sports. I think they were kind of like what the heck is this new guy comes up there. And just. What? Well, they had to have some respect, right? Right. There's there's always that guy and the podium. Yeah. Do you? Remember like Britney said when she got she podium up there too. She didn't really know where to go for the tech. Yeah. Yeah. I didn't know me either. The one guy after my heat race. He was like, I think you need a way your car like. I don't know if they thought I was cheating. It was fine. It was we had a good time. Good. Congratulations on your third place. Thank you so much. Yeah. My back in my second heat race win and this new car in third time driving the car. So wow. I think it's gonna be good next year. Well, you know, it's kind of like, you know, you get I think we've had this conversation when I when I raised go-carts because I didn't have a whole lot of money, but I would take the cart my checkbook to a guy that would build carts, and I sit here here's my checkbook, here's the cart. Call one is done. And if I lose it had better be my fault. Right. Because you know, there is a combination between equipment and talent. And sometimes equipment will always defeat talent. You know, whenever it feels like it. But boy if you could ever get that combination. Yeah. All right. Sorry. Go ahead. I can't think Bobby Brown enough. That's who I bought the car from. Yeah. Unreal. I didn't even think they were going to be possible. And he's he's helping me out tremendously on this. You know, non knowledge which is phenomenal. You know, it's like by Jeff Gordon's car or something. I know. Well, you know, he was huge cone speedway right now. He was he's the man of Verona too. So. Yeah. I know you just gave me goosebumps goosebumps because. Just like you said it's like just receiving a Jeff Gordon car. Yeah. Yeah. Did that put pressure on that put pressure on you a little bit? It made me feel like all right? Well, now, I'm going to see the media the car though, excuse car. I felt like all right. I'm me. I couldn't tell you know. But now, it's it's pretty neat. You know to have that Bobby keeps telling me stop saying. Thank you. Yeah. But you know, what? Hey, the little bit of respect we haven't had that very long in this country. So I think it's a great thing that you say, thank you and down deep inside. You know, he, you know, he appreciates it otherwise, you wouldn't be doing it. But now, I think that's awesome. And now that you got the new car the new and really a new track at Borana. Because the Salazar's Brady and all this dirt. And they've been really manicure in it. And I mean the racing out there now is is as good as as it's ever been. I think oh, yeah. Phenomenal. The last main laps race. We just had. That's probably the best track. We've ever had that I've ever had any way up there. And the I was phenomenal smooth tons of by. No, you know, it was it was perfect Napper better track. There really dialing it in. Yeah. Yeah. They're definitely getting a handle on coarser. Okay. And I interrupted you before. But I wanted you to talk about Tristan. Yeah. Kristen so he was going to finish out the season. But we got informed that he's only had two races this year. We had a little problem with this car. And they said if he raised one more than he wouldn't be able to for rookie of the year. So he's gonna sacrifice these last two or three races that we have. And then just start brand new next season shoot for that. Rick. Rookie of the year and hopefully the championship. So where are you going to tie them up? He's he's going to be in the pure stock. Now, I said where are you going to tie him up for the next three races? And put them in a closet. You can have to do something. Yeah. That's what you say. You're right. Oh my God. I could see on his faith. He's definitely bummed out. But he you know, he he made that decision himself. I told them we get you back out there. But he's like nine, you know, what I it's something you could only get once in your life, you know year. So. He's all up. He's thinking big picture. You know? And you gotta you got how old is this kid? He just turned seventeen that's called big picture, man. I mean, you gotta be out. Yeah. Because if he just wanted to go out and drive guy. Well, then okay. But to to blow because if it sounds to me like he would probably like to do this professionally. Are you allowed to that? Would definitely be dream. He's building a resume. What's the first thing? You win the rookie. Jay, the next thing. I next goal. You've got to win a championship. And then you next you see see he's he's got to figure it out. He's got it figured out. That's awesome. He's a good kid. Yeah. He's takes after his mom. Yeah. Definitely. Does that throw that one out there? Did you ever watch watch Bill Cosby, and when he did his show, he took his son? He took him a football and a baseball and in in the hospital and taught him everything he wanted to that kid finally becomes really good in the first time. He's on TV. Who's he think this mom? Thank you. Right. So I if people wanna I know, I know you'll always take money and sponsorship. So if people want to get a hold of your house it what's the best way to do it. They you go on my Facebook just woke up Robert Peters. I'll accept any friend would quit their come up to the track. I'm Nora Pitt. Yeah. Come up and Baronne watch us all race or more willing to go and talk to people, do whatever. And. Yeah. Hopefully next year. I hope I'm happy caliber to be championship. That'd be awesome. You know? But. So you would happen. Your next racist next weekend. Right. Yes. Yep. And you'll be there. Yeah. Yeah. We'll be Verona. And then I believe we have this next one. And then one more after that. And then third one is our open com. Wow. That's gonna be awesome. What's the number on your car for people that are sitting in the stands Donahue? You're talking about number five. Number five. What callers cars black with a white number five? What's it gonna be next year? We were thinking maybe doing white and gold. Komo yet now. And you know, I'm glad you said that it's always cool to find a combo that nobody else has got. Yeah. Yeah. Do you ever seen teal you ever seen that real weird teal blue just on that spread for mystery sing? Oh, that's right. That's where I seen it. Yeah. Up in Paris. You don't mind me. All right, buddy. Hey, well, it's always a joy, you're you can call anytime. You like I mean, we appreciate it your local kid, you do it. Extremely well. Tell your boy get ready. Yeah. Thank you guys do. And thank you break me for always sending us up. And. Oh, yeah. Right. Jeez. The best. She really is awesome. Buddy. Enjoy the rest year Sunday. And we'll talk to you down the road. Sounds good. Thanks. We're going to go ahead. Take small break when we get. We've got guess who got Jake's Watson who used to run that color? You combination. You were just talking about. Yes. I think he might have to check. I knew there was someplace I see when he was with miss racing. He taller. I thought it was really unique. All right. Well, he's Jake's on the wing in the wings as we speak. So we're gonna take a small break. This is FM ninety six one in north county. That's right, folks, we're blast. And all the way to LA AM eleven seventy in San Diego all the way to the Mexican border. And we are and eleven seventy the answer..

"Science fantastic welcome back to science fantastic with professor michio kaku we're talking about radiation what it is what the debate the no fly dr robert peter baruch blacks and we have doctored gale with us on the line he's a professor at visiting at imperial college in london specializing leukemia and other bone marrow disorders let's now shift gears to focus shema isn't a true that even today you can get a geiger counter a walk through the streets of tokyo and find out that your groceries are slightly radioactive how bad was that accident compared to chernobyl and is it really gonna take forty years to clean up that mess the answer to your questions is yes i mean of course you can find foods that have radiation released by fukushima but important thing for us to remember is that all of our food all of our water is normally radioactive just like we're radioactive so we know water comes from the earth the earth is filled with uranium and thorium radium so it's not that food or water is not where he lapped if it's only radioactive and when we deal with an accident we are dealing with the amount of radiation not whether it's for you active were not radioactive so you can find such things but um you know if you go to tokyo i say sometimes i just come back last week you can sometimes seen mothers in a supermarket with geiger counter checking different bags of rice and this is absolutely silly.

"Welcome back to science fantastic with professor michio kaku in this hour we're talking about a technology that is on everyone's lips but well people have misconceptions survive radiation what it is what you need to know by dr robert peter gayle and eric lacks well adopted get where we last left off you were talking about the post war era when we did have weapons accidents we did also have tremendous advances in the hospitals with medical radiation but that in 1988 we had the churn noble accident one of the biggest nuclear accidents of all time what happened there i understand that a quarter of a million a quarter of a million a russian workers had to be enlisted in order to stop that accident and of course they were exposed to radiation that was the largest engineering project of modern times tell us what happened at chernobyl the accident which was shown in 1980 six worth a um involved a a mill town a uncontained power ria something that was used to generate electricity and i was involved in an from the inception and you're right we actually used six hundred thousand workers to deal with the accident and we have been following those people for the last now it's 26 years originally there was some a cohort of about two hundred firefighters and rescue workers set ran in to deal with the accident not knowing that it was a radioactive release and those are the people that we brought for this secret hospital that i mentioned in uh in moscow ellen retreated them about twenty nine of them died but we were able to rescue the other uh uh 100 in seventy so that was um very sad but fortunate that we could rescue that eighty percent of them and we follow these six hundred thousand people you know that we we call them liquidators who helped to contain the accident and we find a few cases of possibly a few cases of extra leukemia's at the good news is that we haven't found any other increase in any cancer so far now it it may take forty or fifty years to see an increase in cancer but so far we haven't found any convincing increase in cancers in them but i'm sadly we found a seven thousand cases of thyroid cancer in children that were living in areas around the reactor and that.

"Landmark goalcom science fantastic welcome back to science fantastic with professor michio kaku this hour we're gonna talk about an issue that was the number one issue when the fukushima reactor went up in smoke we're talking about radiation and did you know that life on earth would be impossible without radiation so what this today to talk about radiation what it is what you need to know we're very delighted to have with us dr robert peter gail he's a physician at imperial college in london and we were very glad to grab it when he passed soon new york is co author is eric lax and the book is called radiation what it is what you need to now so dr gale thank you so much for being on science thanks for the invitation okay first question for you it is how did you as a youth for his kit interested in science and also medicine because you're an expert in leukemia and bone marrow disorders ever really in any other career realities worth count finance fears into my project ironically was to develop a solar energy power station for my sixth grade project i think that got me started in this direction and then why medicine denison was probably precipitated by.
