"Um, I'd love to say yes, but I know it's been a every time someone eats and Neil, we go to that same cafe. Our staff is watching very closely. I think we've had a couple guys We really like The coaching staff is kind of doesn't hate you better finish that. That is tremendous, exact with respect, understand where story like that might get bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger. But I really appreciate your point. You're looking for guys with a high level of appreciation and low expectation. May I ask you this when you're recruiting players and finally like gratitude, it's such a key point that you make. You have to have gratitude when you're recruiting players and especially very good players, and they're told from literally the jumping day one your special, you're different. You could see where sometimes maybe a young person might feel a little bit entitled and not have great great gratitude. Like in a sense, you have to kind of deep program or D recruit some of these guys once they've been recruited. You know, we've got a great coaching staff and call 48, Justin Jennings, Michael Jordan and Robert Driscoll that I think that's what they do early on in the process. You kind of get these young men in the phone calls. We do our homework. He just don't talk to the kid watching play. Gotta talk to maybe the guidance counselor or his math teacher. Or you think you can learn a lot by talking to if he's a two sport athlete, and it's not his main sport, but he's on the track and field team. What's he like? In practice a track and field Does he take Pride in what he's doing, or he just messing around and hanging out with his buddies. So We do our homework gym and we want to find out. Um guys that fit us in our program and gratitude, respect and compete, and it's not for everybody, but we're trying to build ourselves into a consistent championship program. And I trust her staff and who we evaluate and type of guys you want. I think Chris Peterson and former coach of Boise State former coach of Washington now you call him okay. G The are kind of guy. That's what we look at. We've got a guy that was an unsung hero came off the bench. He starts in games for us this year, and when we were recruiting him, we were the only one in the gym. And there were four empty chairs and I took a picture of those chairs and I sent it to me and said, Hey, I love watching you play, but no one else is here. And he's one of our better players and you love coaching every day. He's got a high level of appreciation for the chance to be a direction a bit is the key word and I'm glad you mentioned coach Pete I'm a big fan of his, too. Zach Spike was the head basketball coach at Drexel. They've gotten amazing opportunity. They are a 16 going up against Illinois. It's in the Midwest region. That game is Friday at 1:15 P.m. Eastern time. Zach. It's great to have you back. Thanks for doing that. Good luck this week, we'll all be watching. Sounds great, Jim. Thanks for having us go, Dragons. You got it. Go Dragons! Zach Spiker. I can't get over this. I love talking to all these guys. So there are 16. They're going up against Illinois and he said, Hey, listen. 14 15 16, no matter what, you're gonna play a really good team. If you're in this tournament, you're really good team and we're really good team and let's do this thing. And I respect a lot. Great stock him, Illinois. Is a really, really explosive team, a really scary team. What? To Zach Speicher's point. Hey, listen, we belong here. And what his team did was amazing to miss the time that they missed and play one game against the best team in the conference to win that game and then run off four in a row in conference play when they had not played on its surface is amazing. But to hear him describe how they did that, then it makes so much more sense. We weren't playing, but we were getting better. I love that notion. We weren't playing, but we were getting better. 1 806 368686. I'll be holed up so really quickly I made this whole to do about Hey, you know how I'm celebrating ST Patty's Day with a green screen How you like me now? That's very, very happy with myself. B. on the men and women the F. B. I. who were on this and our you know our buddy our pal Buck Sexton used to be a part of the J. two D. F. the joint terrorism task force in New York City with the NYPD and that is the group that was at the heart of this and they were part of the group that stop this this is G. Hadi plan to have a bomb building about a weapon of mass destruction is Serra has described it here big breaking news today I'm glad you brought it to us I think I want to talk about the overstock thing is there anything else it's on your front burner today that I I can't skip no that that that's the big story for the day actually what's the story the issue with it up who were taken into custody and who pleaded guilty to the charges and of course Patrick Byrne fifty what's your hero of overstock dot com he resigned yesterday I attack I just got off the phone with him and I he is you know a very adamant about speaking out about what he believes was extraordinary malfeasance within the FBI during the two thousand and five Jeanne election and usually hit the wall and why it happened during the election beginning with Maria patina the Russian gun rights activist and who basically sentence show right now she's serving out the rest of her time being a foreign agent that means somebody who didn't register on that we're not saying that she was a spy but she was that an agent of influence from Russia here in the United States and and hit the ball but with the FBI during the time he knew her and there were people that he described as men in black who gave him he is the term fishy orders and he carried them out but there was a relationship that he's claiming he had with Maria Bertino the woman who is now locked up for not registering as a foreign agent the he's looked askance at by by people now who are saying we may men in black he he says he knows the names of these people is he gonna end up in front of a a Senate hearing and testifying in this do you think well he has already met with the DOJ the department of judges you bet on April fifth in April thirtieth that I've been able to verify on April thirtieth those combined meeting which warriors at the department of justice investigating that basically the beginnings of the Russia investigation lasted more than seven hours on April thirtieth he delivered a slew of documents to the document yet he says or text messages emails and other communications that he had with the FBI he also gave the name of the FBI agents that he met with I would be able to verify that you get deliver documents to the department of gesture and that he did speak with them I was also able to verify that he did have a relationship with Maria Regina I did that for her lawyer Robert Driscoll and add to your other sources as well who actually talk catcher burning her a diversification click Patrick in her out the freedom statue in two thousand fifteen he with the speaker there he is not a trump supporter what's not bad a trump supporter on never give a dime to the trump campaign and he met her after she had approached him she approached him twice during freedoms that he contacted the FBI active it would be okay to meet with her again and he was concerned because he has a security clearance the low level security clearance but he didn't want to lose it and wanted to verify with the FBI that it would be okay the FBI eventually gave him a green light that she appeared fine she with undergrad student and a you know there was nothing to worry about but after he began seeing her developed a relationship with her the FBI kept communicating with them reporting things that you found very odd but she has a desire to meet with officials of a you know Marco Rubio Ted Cruz don't junior you know people in the Republican circle she also talked about a you know wanting to meet with people in the Clinton campaign and she made her way around you we noticed that she had a boyfriend Paul Ericksen we can strategist what was interesting is that it would be able to verify all with the right Patrick burns name never appeared anywhere nineteen the court trial got a news article although he is absolutely true that he had a relationship with her for three years never in the FBI or the DOJ at times never leased his name so anyway I knew they knew of the relationship they knew the name they knew what was sensibly going on but it never showed up anywhere almost as if they were ghosting that relationship for whatever reason that we don't know because I think he was reporting it might so he was reporting what was going on and he was very concerned about her access and you know there were times where he was concerned about her he wasn't sure you know it's you just disputed issue something else and he felt as though they were allowing the state being you know the FBI add up people within the DOJ who knew what was going on and they were allowing her to access Republic it and move around the circle when he became very concerned about that it led to other issues some of which I have not been able to verify yeah and connections remember character burns very intelligent man you build overstock dot com either way it was a story but after I was able to verify certain aspects of that story I decided to move forward with it and I broke it several weeks ago I know you work you yeah so so did you see how everything progression that it really caught fire when he resigned from the overstock a lot of talk about the board may be pushing him out he said it was time for him to resign anyway she was ready to move on and take it lightly because he knew of of the fire that he would receive from Washington DC after reporting let it happen this is what's happening now this is an amazing story and and we're talking to Sarah Carter you need to follow Sara Carter and Sara's eight Carter dot com and it's Serra told me this story on another radio show weeks ago and then when it bottled up in the last couple of days this week I just one holy cow Sir was way out in front of this and here's the weird thing Serra I was at freedom fest twenty fifteen I was broadcasting from freedom fest twenty fifteen for the blaze and now I have to go back through all my notes to see who I ran into there because probably should yeah that would be interesting a lot of people ran into her at that didn't realize till after she was arrested who she was while this this story is amazing because it has this guy who's a really smart guy who has friends on both sides of the aisle Chris Cuomo described him as a smart guy that he's known he didn't think it was a coke gland back has had him on his TV show in the past on his radio show so he is deeply connected and now we hear that the story of these men in black encounters as he called them and the relationship with Maria Bertino who's now serving time for not registering as a foreign agent I got a feeling there's a whole bunch of shoes gonna drop once all this comes out and I'm glad you're there on it because I think you you have and I I had started on everybody else so I'm hoping I'll I'll get more scoops from here down the line so absolutely I think that you're absolutely right and I think there's going to be a lot more to come out and a lot more will be revealed in the upcoming weeks I got a minute to go are we ever going to see those IG report to ever see the horror which report absolutely we will see those Horowitz report I did Spector general has been diligently working through these records and remember every day something you are not I I have heard that the reports are completed and that those reports and according to sources will be delivered after that Labor Day break so sometime after that sometime in the fall you can never released those reports and not going to be very important because they're supposed to be extraordinarily damning while waiting for the call me report more waiting for her with this report on the Russian investigation and the FBI and I'll tell you what's going to be really interesting I'm very curious to find out if Tina ever approached anyone in the Hillary Clinton campaign and whether or not she was.

But that's basically the gist of the QNA during a press conference. It opens the whole door to you know, maybe instead of questions about collusion with Russia bribery with Russia to to drop the sanctions, I think that's where this is headed. Just just the thought here's the story that I open talking about that is so horrific a seven year old girl from Guatemala died of dehydration and shock after she was taken into border patrol custody last week for crossing from Mexico into the United States illegally with her father on a large group of migrants, according to see BP records, the girl in her father would taken into custody December sixth there are part of a group of one hundred sixty three people who approached US agents to turn themselves in about eight hours later the little girl began having seizures this was at six twenty five AM emergency responders measured her body temperature at one zero five point seven degrees. Jeez. I'm amazed. She was still alive then. And according to a statement from CB p she reportedly had not eaten or consumed water for several days begging, the question is why didn't they give her some fucking water when they got a hold of our could they not see that. There was a problem with this child. Asked by a reporter if the administration is taking any responsibility for the girl's death. White house. Spokesman HOGAN Gidley said, quote, does the administration take responsibility for apparent taking child on a trek through Mexico to get to this country. No. Then department of homeland security secretary Kirstin Nielsen was on FOX this morning. She was asked about the girl's death a talking to FOX and fiends. It's heart wrenching is what it is. And my heart goes out to the family all of olive DHS. This is just a very sad example of the dangers of this charity. Legally, what happened here was they were ninety ninety miles away from where we could process you sent them there such a large crowd that it took our border patrol, folks. A couple times to get them. All we gave immediate care. We'll continue to give them meeting. I care strike as journey is when migrants choose to come here illegally. Oh my God. So she's blaming this little girl on her father for her death and said, we gave medical care immediately. No, you didn't. It was more than eight hours before you notice that there was something wrong with this child, by the way. I just got a news alert hold on the department of homeland. Security's inspector general announced it would investigate the death of the seven year old little girl who died after being taken into border patrol custody. The Trump administration is said the girl from Guatemala died from dehydration and shock while in custody. Her death was first reported yesterday. It is the phone. Fault of the United States government that this little girl is dead, by the way, an official from the Guatemalan foreign ministry identified this little girl. Her name is Jacqueline. Call Jacqueline CA L. Yes. She has a name. She was a human being and she's now dead. Sickening. In other horrific. News today marks the sixth anniversary of the massacre at sandy hook elementary in Newtown..

"Oh, thank you for helping us understand the storage nightly. So it's nice to meet you. Thanks for being here. Thank you so much. All right. We'll be right back. Stay with us. Maria tina's currently in jail in Washington, DC awaiting trial on charges that she was the agent of a Russian influence operation in the United States. She was in court today to try to convince a federal judge to release her on bond. While she waits to be tried turns out though that the judge had something very specific that she wanted to take up with tina's lawyer, Robert Driscoll. At the start of the hearing, we've got the transcript. The judge started quote, I want to say at the outset that might chambers received contact from defense counsel this morning that they had videos that they wanted the court to see prior to the hearing this morning and Mr. Driscoll I can tell you that that is not how I proceed. I don't want to be getting material. There was a deadline in this case, that in fact was very generous and in the future, I will not be having a deadline of the night before a hearing for submissions. But there was a deadline. In this case, I had a full calendar this morning. I do not like, and I will not in the future, accept submissions hours before a hearing where there's a pen. Adding motion. I had a meeting I had to leave early after a very full calendar this morning to look at those videotapes. I can tell you having viewed them that. I'm not sure what on earth. Their relevance is to MS tina's risk of flight, but I have reviewed them for the record. The first one of the videotapes is a video of MS patina and her boyfriend lip synching I believe in what appears to be a recording studio to the theme song from beauty and the beast. Is that correct? Mr. Driscoll is my description, correct. But tina's lawyer, Robert Driscoll says, quote, your description is correct. Your honor. Is that correct? Did you really make me leave my very important judge meeting this morning to make me watch video of your client lip synching to beauty and the beast. This is the video that Boutin has lawyer apparently felt was so urgent for the judge to watch. Tina's lawyer also showed it to ABC news, which is why we have it. He says, this video showed them, Maria Boutin has a very serious relationship with that older American man, and she is not as prosecutors contend simply using him for his Republican political context of benefit the Russian government. Therefore, because she's so in love, she is not a flavor risk. If she's led out of jail, she wouldn't want to be apart from him. This is how the judge responded today, quote. Well, the court does not find these videos to be at all relevant on the issue of MS Boutin, 'as risk of flight, and that is the courts primary concern with regard to her bond status. But I've reviewed the tapes for the record. The judge then denied Maria, Boutin motion. She ordered that MS boot, Tina must remain locked up until her trial because despite her love of Disney tunes which was conclusively proven by her lawyer, who made the judge the judge told her and her lawyer today that she is indeed still can. -sidered to a flight risk. Both a little scared. Nine. Parent..

"This was four o'clock this afternoon. I'll just quote it directly. Been a hell of a year period decisions period. Now, as a matter of law, I'm not sure how many real decisions George popadopoulos really has to make at this point now that his sentencing process has started, we'll get some expert advice on that in just a moment. But the last set of developments in today's news related to the scandal centered around the president's campaign chairman, Paul Manafort who, incidentally has a notable new neighbor as of this weekend and a move that was described as a surprise to all involved on Friday night. Look who moved in accused Russian foreign agent, Maria Boutin. Ah, on Friday night was moved from the jail in DC where she had been held since she was arrested in mid-july. They took her out of that jail Friday night and brought her over to where Paul Manafort lives now which is the federal lockup in Alexandria, Virginia. Now, the reason we have this new unflattering picture of Maria Boutin a- is I think because she has been moved to that new facility in Virginia, sits Alexandria sheriff's office there. I think we get mugshots when people are in that facility. That's why we've got Paul manafort's mugshot too. Maria patina hasn't been convicted of anything. She's not serving any sentence. She's only being held in jail before her trial because the judge, in her case decided that she was a flight risk. Prosecutors said to argue that she shouldn't be a candidate for bail because of her alleged links to the Russian government and her alleged links to Russian intelligence services. Basically, they argue to the judge that the Russians would spirit her out of the country before she could ever face charges. If the judge let her back out on the street. That's why she has not been let back out on the street, but now for whatever reason they have moved her from one federal lockup in DC to another. Moving here from DC to Alexandria, means that she's only about two blocks away from where Paul manafort's trial has been underway in Virginia, but that's not the courthouse where she's going to be tried. She's going to be tried in DC and we know from past experience that it's not unheard of for people who are facing trial in DC to end up in this Virginia jail instead. But it was a surprise apparently. And it is a little strange that. Nobody knows why she was moved and according to her lawyer, neither she nor her lawyer had any notice before the move happens late on Friday night for attorney. Robert Driscoll tells the Daily Beast quote, I got a collect call from Maria from the jail in Virginia at midnight, but was disconnected before we could speak Driscoll said, quote, I visited her this morning. She was not informed of the reason for the move. I was not notified of the move, and I am still unaware of the reason he gave that quote to the Daily Beast this weekend. We contacted Mr. Driscoll today to see if he had learned today. Why his client was moved from DC to Virginia. He told us, quote, no news. I have no answers yet. You can ask the Martian service. It's their called. We did ask the marshals service and they didn't call us back surprise if we do get a call back from them, I will let you know there's no reason of course to Paul Manafort and Maria Boutin. We'll have any contact with each other while they're in the same jail. But it's a weird thing that they are now both in the same jail. In terms of Paul manafort's case, we are expecting tomorrow to get the government's list of evidence. Prosecutors list of evidence that they plan to use against Manafort in his next federal criminal trial, which is due to start next month in federal court in DC. The evidence list has already been described as containing over one thousand items, the deadline for the list of all that evidence is to be made public is that it should be made public tomorrow. So that should be a big long list should also be very interesting window into what Paul manafort's next prosecution might look like..

"The way matters show we at nine eastern on MSNBC. All right. Playing the part of United States, federal district court, judge tenure, Tanya, s chicken playing. That part will be me. Playing the part of Thomas end Saunders federal prosecutor in the national security section of the US attorney's office that part will will be played also by me. And playing the part of Robert Driscoll who represents accused Russian secret agent, Maria Boutin a- as her defense attorney, that part will also be played by me, and I know that sounds cheap. It's a delicate balance here though. I mean, what we're saving on the salaries of actors with speaking roles were making up for. In terrible acting by me. So. What's going on here is that accused Russian secret agent, Maria Putina has been in jail now for a week and a half. She was arrested last weekend right before the Trump Putin summit in Helsinki. She was actually arrested before the summit started, even though we didn't find out about it at the time. The court didn't unseal the case against her until a few hours after the summit was concluded. Now, the coincide of those two events is potentially interesting because she's accused of being an agent of the Russian federation right secretly mounting and influence operation in this country on behalf of the Russian government to influence the Republican party around the two thousand sixteen presidential election, right? Since they unsealed her case right after the summit ended, we have learned a lot of interesting stuff about what exactly the government is accusing her of, and it's all fascinating. Right? I think we are hardwired as humans to think that secret agent stuff is just inherently fascinating. Otherwise there wouldn't be. Books with shiny covers for sale in airport, bookstores. We love this stuff. But in terms of the news in terms of the country in terms of this presidency in terms of the big scandal that has followed the president home from that summit with Putin in Helsinki last week, there does remain one really big as yet unanswered question about the Maria patina case. Does her case stand alone or does it link into the larger Russia's scandal? The other prosecutions the the Russian government's effort to swing the election? Does it Lincoln to the crucial question of whether the president and his campaign were somehow in on that Russian operation to influence the election? So today court hearing for Maria Boutin a- and I should tell you the the bottom line here. Is that part of what came out in this card hearing today? Is that prosecutors say her case is connected to the larger story? At least the evidence in her case is connected. They say. Two other ongoing cases and investigations. I should warn you in advance. There's also a little argument about sex and her personal diary. I swear in his relevant to the larger questions here, but you should know what happens. Okay, here goes. So this is the initial discussion in court starts right away and it's about discovery. It's about the evidence and materials. The prosecution has seized in their case against Maurya Boutin and this questions now being litigated in court as to whether and when and how her defense lawyer is going to be allowed to see all that stuff that the government has ceased. Okay. So here we go. Mr. Saunders the prosecutor. Good morning, your honor. Thank you very much. The.

"That's how prosecutors say an alleged Kremlin secret agent infiltrated American politics, getting close to Trump allies and other Republicans Russia's ambassador to the US. The Russians have set up a hashtag in her defense. Her onetime boyfriend. Paul Erickson only add to the intrigue. He's an American conservative political operative. It's not clear where he falls into this alleged scheme. Prosecutors suggest he may have been manipulated by booed know who's half his age joining me exclusively tonight. Maria Buddha's attorney, Robert Driscoll. Robert, the government laid out a long list of communications that they say, prove your client. Ryobi note was a spy, and I wanna read one between her and the Russian officials. She was communicating with immediately. After Trump won the election. She writes, quote, I'm going to sleep. It's three m here I'm ready for further orders. The Russian officials says, think about it in which areas of life we could go towards bringing us closer ISIS. Understandably. What else we need to look at the American agenda. So you sit your client is in Russian spy. How do you? I mean, why is she asking for further orders? I think that like most of the government's case is taking completely out of context, those Twitter direct messages, which by the way, most Russian spies don't communicate by tritter Twitter direct messages, which are there's thousands of them between Alexandra torsion and Maria over years period. And there were gun rights advocates together, and we're friends this Twitter direct messages about picking up toothpaste in America, this direct messages, but with pictures of kids and dogs and everything else, and they both had an affinity for better American Russian relations, but that certainly wasn't the purpose of her trip to the US. It was something they discussed once in a while. Here's another thing that the government says that they had. They fly several direct message between her and the Russian official where your client talks about going quote, underground going incognito, and having to be quiet and careful the government alleges that the message show her acting covert manner to that you say, again, is it is it Maria? Never said she was anyone other than. Who she was. She always said she was a Russian. She said that she had worked with Alexandra torsion or it said that she was friends with him or sitting him in his endeavors is you never did anything covert at all? I think any discussion of them of underground or covert versus public is more to do with whether or not to have. For example, public conferences, invite Americans and Russians on the gun issue on other issues or have more private dinners, which is what they ended up happening. It is interesting for someone who is alleged to be a spy that apparently, I mean, from what I've read from accounts from people who were at the university with their, she had a picture of Ladimir Putin on her phone. And she often spoke in defensive Ladimir Putin in class, which if she was trying to be incognito and be, here's a spy. I'm not sure that I mean it seems odd that she would have a high profile in defensive Latimer Putin. I would think if I thought about Putin, I would actually go the opposite way and kind of downplay my like of Letterman Putin. I actually asked her about that today because I read about it. I think on CNN that's the story about the. The phone cover, it's a picture of Ladimir Putin shirtless on the horse. So you can imagine, you know which she had as a gag as she's the Russian student, and everyone knew she was a Russian student. So she had it. I'm saying it actually argues in your favor in this case, which is like if she's trying to have a cover position, it seems odd that she would be publicly out there promoting vitamin Putin positions in classroom. She was head of a of a, she was well known in Russia before she came here. She's been getting publicity since she's been in the US for well over a year. If she were a spy, her relationship with with torsion was disclosed in. Articles online over a year ago. So according to governments theory, her cover was blown over a year ago and she didn't leave..
