"They bother the hydro inspectors, but Nothing was found out of the ordinary last gasp to bring in the police officers because things were flying around the house around the apartment. And over two week period police officers who I happen to know and were very skeptical. We're putting down the report that they saw some very unusual things. I can read you a few minutes conveyed your couple, their reports. Sure go right ahead. I think you know it's it's an interesting It's a journey, and that's the way I look at all of the paranormal. I don't think anybody's got the end all explanation for any of these things. Whether it's our consciousness, our unconscious of whether it's you know some energy coming in contact with the receiver, whether the receivers actually Activating it. And so I think that on audience who gets an opportunity here, some of that it's It's very helpful in again 90 70. Here's a couple of records. Friday, February 7th Sensible, Robert Crawford found a heavy bet had reportedly been raised two feet off the floor by an unseen force. It was reported by a neighbor, Mrs Baines, who told police she had seen it rise off the floor in the boy's bedroom, 11 year old boy Crawford City rushed into the room and saw that bit approximately two feet off the floor at one and unsupportive. Not believing my eyes, he said. I summoned a Constable Dick College who was outside the apartment. Tuesday, February for about 12 time in almost two weeks, Constable Bill Weir said he saw John Movie knows the sooner I'm giving him the boy throwing off a chair. We're wrote I attended in the morning. I was assisted by Constable Eddie Petar ski while I was there. I witnessed some phenomenal occurrences, which I have attached to this report. At 9 p.m. I proceeded to the residents again with Constable Crawford, where we again witnessed some very unusual things taking place. Between the time of the two calls. I contacted Mr Bradley, the city building, inspector. We both agreed that the cause of these weird encourages was that the boy was the centre of poltergeist activity. Weirs report later signed an authorized by his commanding officer. But what we did not put on report was that he himself got the treatment from the unseen force. Although he did not write it on the report. We're told Constable Harry Fox later on that the older guys force picked up a chair that were was fitting in to have more than £200 were Wade. He picked up the chair and, according to Fox tipped him out of that little 11 year old John movie, probably £25 soaking what has really done that physically. I guess that would be a really tough one to explain to the boys back of the police station. That is a little bit of the background of the 97 occasional 10 years later, as they say, I wrote a anniversary story about the boy has to this day has not been named. Family was so paranoid and so embarrassed about the case that they put a the police were not allowed to release his name, but I knew who the boy Wass. I phoned. My talking did not use his name. 10 years later, I did a story about it. And that night, which was Halloween in 1980. We lived in the country and, ironically, the only visitor we got that language was this boy and he said he had to come to my place. He had no one to talk to you because his parents have seen the 10 year anniversary story. And I kicked him out of the house. He was 21 years old. But there was still fun, Shame and secretive ways about the case that his parents didn't want anyone to know. And they got upset that he had talked to me. So he came over to the house and was far from what I would think. With poltergeist age as one could get. He was very tall, young man. Very unassuming, almost like leave it to Beaver TV show here. I was maybe Expecting some sort of devil, but it was actually the opposite. Very in control with emotions, except when we started talking about how his family kicked about how they pulled the phone out of the wall when I talk to him or reporters Then he started really sobbing and saying, Look, you know, I hope you don't use this checking my office for tape recorders. It's not worth it. My story. I've been offered a lot of money. But it's just not worth my private life. I have a good job. I work with young people. If the parents of the young people found out that I was the Poltergeist agent 10 years before they might think I was a monster. You know it occurs to me when you hear these kinds of The after effect of the ridicule factor, which we call oftentimes in the UFO work, which is very serious is that what if these people as youth aren't causing something but facilitate something that is actually a very important capacity? That we have. It reminds me of. Sometimes shamans would say that when people went through what they thought was a psychological breakdown that it was actually a spiritual elevation. Only they didn't have anybody to guide them. I mean, what if this is actually a capacity that is something about our sort of? I wouldn't call trans species but sort of trans energetic reality and that it's not something that should be looked at. I know historically that its possession or that it's negative. What if it's positive, historically or hysterically? That's a problem? Yeah, investigating these cases because This family active hysterically acted in more scientific and open mind away that obviously at the time this boy could have been studied, But this is one reason we can't It's hard to get at exactly what poltergeists energy is. We're we're left with people like me who rounding up back on a goal stories we can test began a couple of 1,000,000 reasons. One. The hysteria of the family doesn't want to know that they don't know what it's about is frightening. I mean, you have to. I mean, if you're a parent and your child sitting on the bed that's being elevated and plates are flying in the House and Voices air coming out of your, you know, nine year old daughter, your 12 year old daughter itself..

"Chair. Give out in here. The Fat Lady crashed to Earth. Ooh The next morning agents Crawford and desdner return to the heckle brother's Circus Swan Beck and Heller. Were still out looking for clemens. In swore they'd have them by day's end. Schwann told Crawford he was wasting his time playing circus freaks but Crawford still went to Simon Hecklers. Rv ready for another day looking around and chasing hunches. Heckler invited them in and offered them breakfast. No thank you. We already ate. Crawford said Heckler poured himself a glass of orange juice and sat down. So what can I help you with today? We'd like to speak with Lester. Siegel Crawford said. Absolutely he usually sleeps in but I could take you RV later. Thank you Mr Heckler. We were talking with. Reggie Hamm Dean Sylvia's last night. And they were talking about him. Ham was talking to you. Yes I'm surprised. He doesn't like cops much. Maybe he's okay with secret agents. We're not secret agents Mr Heckler. That's the secret service in the CIA. Right Heckler said and began tapping his foot. This time. It bothered Crawford. Is there something wrong? Mr Heckler know why it's just you're tapping your foot. You do that a lot. It's just a nervous habit. You weren't initially tapping your foot yesterday when you were getting ready for your show. That's because I have confidence in costume. I'm used to it. It's the one place in the world. I feel at ease. I've always tap my feet. He dabbed perspiration from his forehead with his hand and wiped it on his pants. Are you sure there's nothing wrong? Crawford said heckler swallowed and said yes. Everything's fine nothing you're holding back. Heckler looked around his RV like he was plotting an exit strategy. Nope nothing. You're acting strange all of a sudden when we see that in our line of work it usually concerns us. What do you mean well one moment? You're tapping your foot and the next year. Calm one moment your. Rv is cluttered in the time. We return it's spotless. Now you're nervous. You're sweating Mr Heckler. And that makes me wonder why heckler put his head in his hands and said okay okay. He began whimpering. I'm sorry I'm so sorry I did it. I'm sorry. He looked up is filled with hope but by confessing before you found out you'll go easy on me right Crawford and designer looked at each other both confused. Just what is it? You're confessing to Mr Heckler. The BOOKS CRAWFORD STARED. He was just as lost as designer. I doctored the books. Heckler said I. I've been doing it for years. I don't make much doing this show and sometimes just to get by. I've not recorded all receipts. Sometimes they change records to ease the tax load. He looked at the agents with pity. And so sorry Crawford side. We're not with the IRS. Mr Heckler I know that but the FBI has attacks arm right. Yes we do but we're not. We're investigating the disappearance of children over a period of six years. Heckler stared at his big feet. They were still a tear fell on one splashing in the middle. I thought you were asking people about me. No but you're right. Cooperating with us will weigh in your favor we will have to contact the irs to come investigate your records of course but that's between you and them we'd still appreciate it. If you cooperated with US though. Sure I'll introduce you to Leicester Right now. Actually Crawford said there's something else I'd like you to do for US Crawford and desdner watched heckler. Get Reggie Hammond Walk. Walk-off back toward hecklers when the two were out of sight the agents knocked on Hams door. Who is it? The Fat Lady said Special Agents Crawford and designer with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. May We come in. There was a pause and then she said my husband's not here. He's off discussing something with Mr Heckler. We'd like to speak with you. Ma'am may we come in another pause and then she finally said sure they found the fat lady taking up a large love seat in the living space in the RV. She was eating a ham sandwich and drinking from a two liter bottle of mountain dew. We'd like to ask a few questions about your husband. Her throat swelled a moment as though she were swallowing an egg sure. She said his done something wrong. We don't know we're hoping you could help answer that question. Crawford took another step toward her and said I heard your husband doesn't like cops. Is that true? He sure seemed friendly with us last night. The color drained from her face. Crawford wouldn't have been surprised to find it on the front of her shirt along with barbecue sauce. Tiny pieces of meat from the Sandwich Crawford knew her look. It was the look of someone who knew something. They didn't want anyone else to know. Desdner spoke up startling. Both the FAT lady in Crawford. May I use your restroom please? Again a worried look. Sure she said of course does went to the bathroom and when he opened the door the RV filled with the smell of bleach. Desma closed the door and the FAT lady looked relieved. She heard him pissing in not going through their things. Crawford notice the spotless kitchen. He assumed the bathroom was spotless to from the smell of bleach the rest of the RV however was cluttered. He noticed a birthday card on the kitchen counter. Right next to some wilting. Roses about a week old he guest. It's Petunia right. He said to the Fat Lady. Your name like the flowers. Yes she said. Do you and your husband have any children Petunia. No we don't proffered nodded his head like he suddenly understood. It must be tough with all the traveling. No it's not that I can't have children. We've tried. She began crying. I've always wanted babies. Reggie wanted to give them to me to want children so bad. I can taste it but the doctors Sam Barron Crawford wasn't ready for the flood of tears that followed. He regretted asking the question. I'm so sorry. The door opens startling them. Both Reggie Hamm entered the RV. I'm back Babe. I have no idea what heckler wanted. He was babbling. He stopped when he saw agent Crawford in his home. He quickly put on his the laws. My friend face agent Crawford how can I help you? Do you have more questions about Lester? Siegel Clemens. I may have some more questions. Yes he looked back at the counter in the kitchen at the birthday card and pointed. Was it somebody's birthday recently. Petunia looked at her husband and then said yes mine really. When was it last week? She said what day on the thirteenth. The tears returned this time much heavier than when she was telling Crawford about her inability to conceive. That's interesting Crawford. Said everything happened in a flash but it all seemed like slow motion time to special agent. Robert Crawford Petunia kept crying. She said I'm so sorry at the same moment. Reggie made his move. He didn't run for the door. He charged Crawford instead. He was on them before. The agent could pull a sidearm. The grip in Reggie Hams handshake was nothing. When compared to the grip he had on Crawford's throat. Everything was going black when Crawford Hamlet. Go hands up where I can see him. He heard designers say desert had his glock. Twenty two drawn on. Reggie the strongman reach for Crawford's gone and the walls of the. Rv were speckled red and allowed pain. Maybe Schwann Beck in the others. Were Right Crawford thought. Maybe it was time to pack it. And his reflexes had failed him he'd be dead without designers backup reality settled in and he frantically wiped it his face he lay on the floor in shock. Feeling another man's blood flowing across his cheeks. He looked up at the FAT lady in the love seat. That's not a ham sandwich is it? Okay so let me get this straight agent. Schwab Beck said with a mouthful of pulled pork. It was three days later in the four agents. Were meeting at the pig. Stop a tiny restaurant shaped like a pig. Schwann Beckon Heller arrived. I had already started eating their sandwiches before Crawford and desma arrived okay so chuckles here shot. The strong man in the head in the fat lady had a heart attack. That's what he's saying desert said Crawford didn't WanNa talk about it. He shook his glass of water. Leading the Ice Cubes tink along the sides. He wasn't in the mood for Sean back not today. But what about the Pajama Bottoms? Heller said a rare vocal moment. They were planted by Ham. Does nurse said we found other things belonging to the kid in the RV. Speaking of the Kid Schwann Beck said the sandwich you said. She was eating every year. Since one thousand nine hundred ninety nine or husband went out and got a kid for her to eat. That's a fucked up gift. Schwann back took another bite of a sandwich making a big show of it. Crawford grabbed his mouth in squeezed. Half the mouthful fell onto his plate. Any forced the other half down in a swallow to avoid choking. I'm not in the mood. Joseph Crawford said he let go and Schwann back face with a Napkin took a sip of water and left his sandwich alone. He turned his plate Crawford. Didn't have to look at the bite. Marks I'm sorry I wasn't making fun of the kids. You know that. Yeah I know Crawford said I'm sorry really. It's just the wild things people do. Just when you think you've seen it all somebody comes along and shows you how little we truly know about how sick people can be. He took more water. This time a gulp and then said so what happened with the heckle guy. Heard you guys solved two cases while we were chasing down a guy with nothing but a parole violation. He thought he could outrun. Schwann Beck had opened the door for Crawford to boast about the case. It was the first time he'd ever given Crawford and Desma Credit Crawford eased up. He smiled as he thought. About Hecklers. Confession. Yeah we were talking to them. Not even about much at all and he started getting all squarely on us. He thought we were after him turns out he was doctoring. His books nothing big. Even but how guilt can person. That's beautiful Schwann Beck. Said he is the sandwich again and looked at Crawford who nodded Schwann Beck took a dainty bite and chewed with his mouth closed. But Crawford still thought about the last remains of Cyrus clam in the refrigerator wedged between a jug of milk and a box of arm and hammer the waitress came to the table and Disner ordered ribs when she asked Crawford what he wanted. He said you know. I think I'll just have the salad today.

"Housing. The heck brother's circus sat like a Garish. Half deflated jellyfish in a field on the outskirts of town. If one ignored the nearby bank and a few other signs of civilization it was like stepping back to a time when the arrival of a big tent in your hometown triggered a summer of wonder gone. Were all those dreams of being a fireman policeman or even a race car driver. Because you now plan to run away with the circus maybe you tame lions walk on a high wire or be shot out of a cannon or perhaps you defy gravity on the flying trapeze or make the audience roar with laughter is a clown special agent. Robert Crawford never had those dreams for as long as he could remember. He wanted to be an agent. He was living a dream. Come true even if it meant occasionally having to see things. He didn't want to see and go places he didn't want to go. He knew what he did mattered and he always face himself in the mirror the next day he couldn't if he were greasy circus clown proffered pulled his crown victoria into a roped off area where the grass had been crudely cut to form a makeshift parking. Lot One good rain and it would become a bog. Imprisoning cars like the La Brea Tar pits did to Animals Crawford. Desdner step from the vehicle does nurse stretched and inhale deeply. Christ what reeks elephants. Crawford said can't mistake. That infernal smell. I'll say worse than cows. Indeed Crawford and desma rarely spoke. They functioned like an old couple knowing what the other was thinking. Sometimes even finishing each other's sentences before they were spoken Crawford could bounce ideas off designer. Who served more as Crawford's conscience than partner over the years the to add wrapped up more cases than anyone from the Milwaukee field office until Schwann Beckon Heller came along? Crawford tucked his notebook under his arm. Schwann Beck called it. Crawford's tiny book of secrets because he was always writing in the book but never showed anybody what he was scribbling. They approached the small handful of onlookers near the big top. Everybody was casually dressed jeans shorts t shirts and a few men without shirts Crawford and designer wearing their dark suits stood out like the bright tent in the middle of a green field on the outskirts of town. The big top and the grounds were surrounded by low fencing. The kind used for festivals and police barricades only painted red and yellow hotdog stand colors as far as the I could see cutting a path through the green grass. Like Godley varicose veins. To the right of the big top was along red stage and a much smaller tent the banners hanging above the stage indicated the heckle. Brother's circus still believed in a good old fashioned side. Show a brave move in politically correct times Crawford thought animals were on display between the tents pacing embarrassed cages and looking defeated a polar bear. The color of nicotine stains panted in the heat is though each breath could be its last. A handful of roused about laborers kept the curious crowds at bay if anyone step too close to the barricades or roped off areas. They'd hold out their hands and shout. Get back you're not allowed beyond this point with all the zeal. Lebanon Elementary School Hall Monitor. The appeared to love their position of perceived power as they scowled at the crowd with disdain. Crawford could tell they really didn't like him desdner but that didn't stop the two from stepping nearer roped off area ready to climb over and entered the sacred domain of the roused abouts and other circus. People a squat man. Who'd probably be homeless. Had He not excelled at shovelling shit and carrying things held out a pair of dirty hands? And said what the Hell you to want. We're just here to look at the animals in dirty little circus freaks like everyone else Crawford said. He was normally much more patient but there was something about the little guy before him that rubbed him like a cat's tongue. Dirty hand said Yeah. We'll just like everyone else. You gotTA stand back Crawford produced his badge and said I don't think we do. I'm special agent Crawford in this is special agent desdner where with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Dirty hands his face went blank. Who's in charge here? Crawford said the heckle brothers didn't exist. They were the brainchild of Simon Heckler. A tall impossibly thin man in his late fifty S. He divided his duties as owner promoter in ringmaster starting the circus in the nineteen seventies but claiming a history that went back to the turn of the century. A consummate showman. Heckler was always on shocking. His way into everyone with all the panache of cut rate used car salesman. So how can I help you? Gentlemen Heckler said to Crawford and designer. The three men were the only people in hecklers cramped. Rv Do you have records of all your stops over the past six years? Why of course heckler said he stood up and cross the RV and a few quick steps unlocking three drawer filing cabinet near one of the windows. He flipped through a notebook stopping on a page titled Dates. Then heckler step back to the small table where Crawford and DESMA. We're sitting handing over a file folder containing all the requested information. Can I get you gentlemen something to eat or drink? Heckler said No. Thank you Crawford said. While Disner shook his head no they never took food or drink from people even if they were ruled out as suspects. What was only a remote possibility when Crawford saw the poster advertising? The circus in Denny's unfolded into something. More as he compared the notes in hecklers files and Crawford's tiny book of Secrets June thirteenth number. One hundred ninety nine Kyle Olson eight years Milwaukee Wisconsin June thirteenth. Two Thousand Stephen Smith Four Years Cincinnati Ohio June thirteenth two thousand one and a Wayne Bridge eight years North Platte Nebraska June thirteenth. Two thousand. Two Sheila SOMMERS six years Memphis Tennessee June thirteenth two thousand three and the Johnson Seven Years Duluth Minnesota June thirteenth. Two thousand four Cyrus Clem Five Years Champagne Illinois. At each site of abduction. The heckle brother's circus was either in or near town. According to hecklers records hecklers elbows rested on the small table. His tiny head nestled in his large hands. He looked comical sitting in the chair. His knees rising up higher than the tables edge. He tapped a size. Sixteen Kenneth Cole on the floor like he was keeping time with a rock band Crawford. Desma were used to people tapping their feet when they were around even innocent people got nervous when the FBI came knocking proffered scribbled. Some quick notes in his book looked up and said Mr Heckler. We're going to need a list of all the people. The circus is employed since nineteen ninety. Nine back in the Crown Vic Crawford ran all the names through the mobile data terminal in just as expected came back with a list of people working for the circus with criminal records circus people. He said desdner nodded his head in agreeance. We've got thirteen people with priors ranging from public intoxication up to two with priors involving kids. Crawford said I hate saying it. But I'm going to bring Swan Beck Heller in on this you scrolled through the list on the MD T in Denver pointed to Mardi Clemens. A thirty one year old with an indecency.

"So, you know, think about it? Our New Year's resolutions. We started those about three weeks ago. Now, it's January twenty first. And it's cold, and it's gonna snow here. Again, actually, there's a term for this. It's called blue Monday. It's the third Monday of January considered to be the most depressing day of the year because you've got that holiday hangover the credit card bills are here. Now, the days are cold and their dark and those New Year's resolutions are getting tough. But remember, we can always choose. We can always choose. And on that note. We've got Jenn grant he's a speaker author and workshop leader, and you can find her at love, Jenn grant dot com. Good morning, John. Good morning Corey. Thank you. Well, I'm glad we're talking about this because even getting up in the morning can be more difficult now when it's dark in its cold and even walk into your car. It's just it can be depressing. It can be so many people leave when it's dark, and they don't get home during the daylight. They get home after it's dark and that adds up for people. And I know that you are a big believer in choice. So so what do you mean by that? I choice as my number one lesson when I get a chance to speak with people. I think we often just kind of live by default. We don't realize that we can live by design, and that we can we can always choose to act a different way, we can choose to respond to different way, we can choose to shift our energy in any situation of always thought like you can't control. Everything in your life. Things are going to happen to all of us. Good bad, otherwise. But you can as you're saying you can choose how you respond. Absolutely. And you know with that. I have a perfect quote for you. If I can share it quickly. It's Robert Crawford. And he says being challenged in life is inevitable being defeated defeated in life is optional and that's exactly what I tell people as I can't ever determine what happens to me. But I get to determine my response to what happens to me live with joy. Sure. Yes. So you have some tips and tools for us to get through this. Because. Like like, we've mentioned off the top here. Like, you know, those credit card bills are coming. And it's like, that's right. We we spent a lot over over the Christmas and the holidays. So there are things now that are coming and it's like, okay. Well, what can we do? Then to choose that happiness and choose joy. Yeah. There there are a lot of different options. The first thing that I talk about is put your hand over your chest and take a deep breath in realize that you have a beat in your chest and air in your lungs. And if that's the case you've been given another day, let's have some gratitude for for the fact that we're alive starting there. I think is the base of of any joy filled day perspective, right perspective in perspective. Yeah. You'd mentioned something to about nature. Absolutely. So I love getting out in nature and for me personally, one of my resolutions, if we dare use that word was to start enjoying winter more instead of sitting in my home and kind of hubbub about it side. Just made the decision I'm going to bundle up. I'm going to get outside. And what that does for us. It's a number of things. But one of the biggest things is that fresh air gives us fresh perspective. It's just the freshness. The newness the getting out there and shifting that energy around. And and on that note, just just moving moving your body alluvia body shift the energy same concept. If you're not going outside do something to move it around. We get stale. We get stagnant. Let's move that out and release some of that we can have a fresh idea then. And sometimes you need is just a call to just to pick up the phone, call somebody, and and not not call somebody to vent, although that can help too sometimes, but but even calling someone proactively absolutely. So the way. Way that I look at this is pick up the phone let someone else know that you're thinking about them. How good is that make them feel and just in that moment of knowing you're lifting someone else up. It helps us to shift out of the perspective, and this call isn't the call to complain it really is that call of uplifting. Someone else. You know, I think as kids yours look forward to to Christmas or the holidays. I get gifts. I get gifts gifts. But as you get older, it's more fun to to give gifts. And and there's something about it that that there's some fulfilling something fulfilling about serving others absolutely serving other people is one of my I go To's if we're having any kind of a day that feels off or we're just feeling icky for whatever reason if we go out and serve other people. We can't remain in this achey feeling and offering some good to someone else. And not only is that service. Good for them. It's also good for us. But then anyone that's witnessing that act. It often has that ripple effect his support them as well. As looking over your website. You mentioned the word reverence. What what do you mean? By reverends, reverence is one of my favorite words. So reverence defined as Greek deep. Aw or gratitude. But reverence isn't the kind of things that we can have off. For that are manmade. It's more of a bigger picture made. So reverence is like taking time to notice the the blood moon last night and just having all over how amazing that is. Or taking time to notice the beautiful sunrise or pausing for a moment, if you're out on the ice like I think we take for granted that are lakes freeze over in Minnesota, but go out in notice like that's kind of spectacular that this takes place or as things start to melt in this spring, look at the little animals, and and that mosquito in her tiny little legs like it's kind of amazing creations that are out there when we stop and take take note of this has been all these tips are just they're wonderful. And it's even like, you know, in the in the break, I I need to text my wife and just even let her know like how much I appreciate her. You know, I think these are good reminders of that. We're talking with Jenn grant. She's a speaker author.

But just watching on TV what I noticed one of the things I loved about Stephen in the first five games was I felt like this is a guy than what I noticed from the sideline was he wasn't necessarily watching the rushers anymore. He was keeping his eyes on the receiver. And I think we saw it in the ASU game. There was a time. I think I talked to you or a detached shed his guard. Third and fourth down. Forty three percent of our completions are gone you you have removed that from your offense.
