"The United Nations. is now pro ANTIFA? How much more evidence do we need before we finally defined the United. Nations, this should be it. You've got 'em admitting that their Marxist much more evidence. Do you need before you pull your support from Blm? Same thing here with Antifa? They tweet quote. U. N. Hash Hashtag human rights experts expressed confound profound concern over a recent statement by the US Attorney General describing antiques and other anti-fascist activities as domestic terrorists, saying it undermines the rights to freedom of expression and of peaceful assembly in the country. See how they're conflating! Antiga with anti-fascists. Now Antiga is a communist anarchist terror group. anti-fascist means you oppose fascism. Let's take that example. All the way back to fascism had any sort of meaning which is back in World War Two with Delaney. And sort of Hitler though National Socialism is sort of a different thing, but lump them both together fine. That was the last time the word fascism really meant anything George. Orwell wrote an essay about this had after the second world. War The word fascism lost all of its meaning, but in that war you see a lot of leftists these days talking about the allied troops as the original anti-fascists remember there were two kinds of anti-fascists in World War Two there were. The Americans and the British. Are guys good guys and there were. Stalin's communists. Both Anti Fascist. When opposed to something that leaves it wide open to interpretation as to what side are actually on? Some. anti-fascists are good. Right if you're an American soldier in world, war, two, that makes you. A good guy. But. If you're Stalin. Just because you opposed Hitler at a certain point doesn't make you. A good guy doesn't mean that I want to ally with Stalin. And yet the United Nations conflates the two. We need to defend the United Nations. We pay twenty two percent of the UN budget to invite the worst people on Earth to sit on a human rights council, some of the worst most despotic regimes in history sit on human rights council, then they fly to New, York to the seat of the United Nations and criticize the United States, and we like Masochists pay the bill. We say, thank you, thank you. May I have another? Thank you, North Korea North Korea. Thank you Cuba. May I have another? Thank you Iran. May I have another? Why are we doing that? The UN is situated on beautiful waterfront property. We could knock down that building. We could bring in some nice bulldozers. We create beautiful trump condominiums, and we would save a lot of money every single year. Now's the time to do that. We are in a battle that has become ideological. It's not just in the US it's. International but it's the same issues. What are we fighting for? Why are we? Why are we paying people and tolerating people destroying our nation, our history our culture. Some conservatives. Some conservatives. Go squishy on this. They say it's a good idea to take down the statues take down the statues. Put them in a museum. I say we take down riders and put them in prison. But some conservatives want to go along with the leftist mob. Take down the statues and put them in a museum very misguided. First of all. They won't stay in, museums. You think you're going to take it down from some public square and put it in a museum, and then go to look at it. No, they're coming down from museums to the American Museum of Natural History in New York just took down a statue of Teddy Roosevelt. Why. What was so terrible about Teddy Roosevelt? Nobody can nobody can tell except that. This statue of Teddy Roosevelt had a black man and an Indian in it, and they didn't like that for some reason too much integration I. Guess So. They're taking down the statue. None of the statutes that are going to museums are going to remain there for very long. There's no limiting principle. To tearing down the statues to tearing down some statues, but not other statues of our history. And where the rubber meets the road I notice for a lot of conservatives is Robert E late. Many conservatives who want to prove that they're not racist. Prove to leftist mobs who don't care if you're not racist and to whom? We don't know any sort of explanation whatsoever. What those conservatives do is they say okay. We'll keep up Lincoln and Jefferson. They're really good guys and Washington and even Christopher Columbus, but will tear down. Robert Blake Robert e Lee a traitor. This totally misunderstands. The civil war? Our Nation broadly and how we look at our history. If you WANNA, tear down that Robert e Lee Statue. You find yourself exactly at odds with Abraham Lincoln's vision for what happens after the Second World War. After the civil war we'll get to that in one second I got friends over at first leaf. I love drinking high quality wine. You know that and I love I leaf. I, leaf gave me some freebies when they first came on the show, I drank all of those freebies, and now I continue to pay. I leave because what a great wine club it is! You know what happens. You're sitting at home. You've just finished a glass of wine. You're about to pour another one, but then the bottles empty. You look around. There's no backup bottle. Spurs of fear in you, it's a fear that I called Vino Phobia, no phobia, the fear of running out of wine. Thanks I leave. You can.

"I was flipping around last night. And there was it was Robert Blake Robert Blake. Remember Robert Blake who was that guy from the TV show. And he was if you can't do the time don't do the crime. And then he murdered his wife. You remember that Robert Blake, and he was Butch or something on it wasn't. But she was one of the kids on spanky and our gang. And and then he became you know, Baretta, and then became the guy that murdered his wife and got away with it. But there was this rerun, obviously, the Johnny Carson show since it's no longer on the on the air and Johnny Carson was doing some stick. It was nineteen Eighty-one. Ronald Reagan was in the hospital after having been shot by John Hinckley, and they were doing stick and they're doing jokes. And they're doing a little of the mighty Carson art players or something like that. And Johnny did a joke. They were being a federal agent joke. And they said something being federal agent said we find that we get more with a kind word and the threat of prison than we get. With a kind word alone. And I thought of the Muller people. I thought of Washington say well, nineteen Eighty-one true. I think you do get more with a kind word and the threat of prison, then you get with a kind word alone. I think that's sort of a rule for living in Washington DC. You always get more with a kind word and the threat of prison. Then you get with a kind word alone. And it sort of made me laugh in the context of today's lunacy. And as that was happening, Greg, Greg, Greg Craig anybody, remember this. He was White House counsel to Barack Obama. He was a lawyer for Bill Clinton is a big democrat politico, and according to multiple reports now, and actually I think his lawyers are talking on the record it looks like Greg Craig the democrat is being charged or will be charged very shortly with crimes having to do with the Muller investigation. Oh, no. Which of these things looks out of place. They what was then a Sesame Street says mistreat, which these things looks at a place that wasn't really one of my shows. I was watching combat with Vic Morrow or something. I was watching something else. And which of these things looks out of place. Here comes Greg Craig. This has got to be shocking him Democrats, don't get charged in this environment. And it turns out that he's done all kinds of things very much. Like what Paul Manafort was convicted of doing? Including representing the nation of Ukraine and the wrong people in Ukraine, according to the Democrats and the news media, but I repeat myself so lots of fun going on there. Maybe one of the torpedoes turning around one of the torpedoes destined for the Red October. And it's it's turning around. And Greg Craig is about to eat that torpedo. So that's kind of interesting and and fun. Also, gosh, so many so many things joy Assange arrested in London by the British police after seven years hold up in the Ecuador embassy in London and they dragged him out of the place like his lunatic. And I still have a number of questions about this. He appeared to be if and this is a fascinating story for whole bunch of reasons that I'm going to get into. But he was dragged out the the the president of Ecuador his first name is Lenin. Have you seen this Elliott? And I and the president of Ecuador's first name is Lenin, you know, like like Lenin because. I talked about this recently a lot of people in Latin America their Soviet names because of all the Soviet intervention the communist intervention during the Cold War. And this guy's first name is Lenin like Boris Sanchez at CNN, and Lenin whatever his name is the president of Ecuador the the the United States of America, the Trump administration. And now we have a look the biggest story of today's what William bar said yesterday, and we're going to get into that. And I have tons of audio and the news media has once again demonstrated in plain sight as Adam Schiff might say for everyone to see the news media has demonstrated that they are merely the Democratic Party on television. They are not in the news business. They're not in the journalism business. They're not in the truth business. They're not in the honesty business. None of those. They are the democrat party on TV period. CNN is a disaster. What a joke they make jokes seem like something worth praising honestly, just awful at NBC and the wash. Post and the rest of the how dare William bar said that he's gonna look into the first time in history. Counter intelligence surveillance operation was launched against presidential campaign. And it happened to be of the opposing party of a candidate that they assumed it was never going to be elected, and they're spying on them all over the place. And they're the news media's upset spy how dare they spot for years. The New York Times use the word spy when they're are talking about US government abuses of Fiso warrants until they're directed by the Obama White House at the Trump campaign, then the word spy is completely out of line and clowns like Washington Post clowns like Charles line. So he would have preferred if they had used the word if William bar used the word surveillance instead of spy as you guys should get a fa- Soroush over there at the post because you're not very bright. You really don't know. What news what words mean? Or what the news business is all about you guys are corrupt. You're you're extremely. Thoroughly corrupt. You're dishonest people, and no one should believe anything that you say in person at the dinner table on the bus in the airport, anywhere. You're not to be believed. Nothing that you say is to be believed. But the news media, I if you're a democrat, and God bless you. If are I hope you get better, if you're a liberal, maybe no hope for you. You gotta look at this. Is there is there a shred of decency left within you as their a fiber that that demands honesty that still resides within your being because if there is you really must look at this and say, you know, Chris's, right? The the news media has been peddling a conspiracy theory every hour of every day hysterically breathlessly declaring this conspiracy to be real of Russian collusion and the president to Russian agent and members of congress like Eric swale. Well, Adam Schiff saying outrageous things about all the proof and the secret. Proof, and he's an agent of Putin in an agent of the president of the United States mind you, and then it all turns out to be untrue. And they just move on as no nothing has happened. And then the attorney general who they were praising as a man of the utmost integrity, just a short time ago says that yeah, there was spying going on. And we all know that, you know, about the FIS of words, we know about Carter page Reno. There's a whole list of things and people that we know about we know about popadopoulos being spotted. We know about the Australian embassy guy in London, we know about the British intelligence, we know about so many of these elements that for five warrants using Hillary Clinton's opposition research to justify the the FIS awards. We know about all this stuff. We know that Carter page was being surveilled, including wiretaps where you know, that Manafort was being surveilled and the news media in its entirety. I don't think there's a single fake journalist out there at CNN or of the Washington Post. Or any place else? Who just said? Yeah. Of course, they are being spied. Now. I it's obvious. It's it's in plants that we've known this. It's been in the Washington Post and now Washington Post reporter, it's like, oh, no, there's no spine. Do you read your own stinking press release everyday from the DNC? Are you kidding me? It looks like a newspaper, but it's not as there is their slogan. So those are just a couple of couple of the stories and joy, Julian Assange thing is is pretty giant. I've got to say, and then of course, there's Alexandria Cossio Cortez says that and they just lie in this democrat on Fox News last night. They just they just the their climate refugees all the people showing up our southern border climate refugees now, and apparently central Mexico isn't enough of a climate change for them and northern Mexico isn't enough of the climate change for them only. The United States is enough of a climate change for them maybe Canada. But I doubt it I don't I don't think Canada's too much. It's the three bears. You know about Mexico. No now too hot. How about Canada now? Too cold, how about the United States? Oh, it's just right. Just right. And that's the news media's thing and Alexandria, Casio Cortez whose brain does not work has designed. She is really a a piece of work this one she embarrassed herself again at a hearing yesterday as did Maxine Waters. This Maxine Waters moment on Capitol Hill yesterday was also one for the record books. These people are brain damage to the country's being run by people with very severe brain damage, and I'm a little concerned about that. Next waters is only one and pathological liars like the insurance their Alex. And and there is a funny thing to see the Bill being introduced pencil act, and it's named for Adam Schiff because he's pencil, Nick. And it's slowly they've created an acronym. It's Matt gaetz Republican from Florida created the pencil act. I'll get to that in a little bit. And it's it's named in honor of pencil. Neck the pencil that gig there, Adam Schiff, and it's kind of funny. It's it's what do they call it? A Beckham they started with pencil because he's called pencil neck, and and they made it the pencil acting everybody. It's about leaking classified stuff because he's a crook this guy. In addition to being a pathological liar is broken lots of laws leaking classified information to his boot licks in the news media, perhaps through proxies. Perhaps in person saw the a great deal to get. And I I mean, honestly, I just need to return to this. I if you're a liberal, you're a democrat, and you're watching this you really don't smell a rat. You really don't you really think that when the attorney general says, yeah, of course, I was gone. You say, and then the John Berman, and and Jim shoe and James Clapper say they were there was an John Brennan, they say there was no spying going on. And you believe them is that is that what I'm understand you say. Yeah. There was no spying going on. Yeah. That crazy William bar. Boy, he's off the rails. As Nancy Pelosi said. Yeah, gosh. Why would he say anything like that? I mean, have you been in a coma for the last two years? I as your brain been victim vacuumed out of your skull. Because if you're if you have to brain cells to rub together, and you haven't been in a coma for the last two years. I would expect that you'd see the same thing that I see. And if you don't see it, then you need some kind of help, you really honestly, do, but the news media is just one hundred now everything's a conspiracy theory for the last two years the conspiracy theory was never called a conspiracy theory, and it was just that. And then the the the operation that was run on the American people the information operation that was conducted against us against the voters against the tax payers and make no mistake that sue this operation was run against it was run against us. The voters this whole Russian collusion thing. And then it turns out we get well, not true. True. It's not true. There was no collusion. And then they deny again, it's Joey Bishop in the guide for the married, man. You're they're caught red handed, and they just continue to deny it. It's the body is right there at their feet. And they say what body there's nobody there. No snow there is it's their bodies. Right. They're still bleeding, and they say there is no body. And if you're a democrat, you say, yes, there is no body and you walk away. And and if your eyes and your brain work, then you say, well, wait a minute. There was no Russian collusion. The news media's been enthusiastically telling us about that for the last two years. And then there wasn't. And we know that there were four or five warrants. We know that Manafort was being surveilled. We know that Carter page was being surveilled popadopoulos was being spied on. We know that his her of people who are in the Trump campaign..

"She turned on the TV, and she says they're still running the Bill Cosby show any serving time for drugging and raping women. Is this black privilege? I guess, you know, I don't know. I'm thinking of some of the they're not they're not running. What was the thing? A Beretta running Baretta reruns anymore. Are they didn't what's his face? He got some legal duty kill his wife or something. What was his name? Robert Blake Robert Blake. Yeah. Yeah. They think he did. Okay. He was never convicted. I don't I have to remember. I don't remember it on a member of he was or not I didn't pay attention. I didn't either. I remember he was on trial or something, and I didn't pay attention. I was r I was over OD don't OJ. So I think that probably came after Jaden yet did okay? Yeah. He apparently they apparently had dinner at a restaurant then after that, she wound up. What happens? Yes, it does. So hey, hey, it happened. So we don't see any Beretta reruns. I guess I dunno now people are gonna call it. Now, you see it on the phone. So channel let me tell you something else while we're on this thing about channels. I don't know why I just got nostalgic, and I was channel surfing and this was during the Christmas holiday. There was nothing. I want man. This is why I don't need to be retired. I'm sitting at home on the couch and watching bewitched, and I'm going good Lord. I mean, they would have about five minutes of bewitched in about twenty minutes of commercials, and then, you know, not like TV land and all them. How does he buy watch that stuff, especially when you can watch a lot of this stuff on Netflix and not have all that. Now that I have no problem with commercials. But I mean when you go nuts on them. Anyway, where were we? Oh, yeah. Being all you can be now some of you folks out there are saying, well that's mighty easy for you to say boy. I'm not gonna I'm not gonna regale you with my father says on my father. This is you know, walk into school three miles. Uphill. Both ways in the snow all that kind of stuff, but I will tell you you gotta take a chance and I've taken some chances. Some of them have panned out some movement. But if you're sitting there with nothing to lose as I was sitting in Greensboro, North Carolina in nineteen eighty five working for an ad agency and had made one hundred dollars in three months because I was on commission. I mean that bones you go, what are you going to lose? So loaded up to truck and moved to Tennessee Nashville that is country stars swimming booze. And so I came.

"After Robert Blake is. Up here, and he's screaming severely. I I know from the neighborhood here. Okay. In Los Angeles today. Police have acknowledged that the actor Robert Blake is considered a possible suspect in the murder of his wife. Robert Blake starve the seventies TV series Baretta tried and acquitted of the two thousand and one murder of his second wife, Bonny Lee Bakley. Well, it sounds like a made for TV murder mystery. But this who done it is all too real wife of actor Robert Blake wife of actor Robert Blake was killed Friday as she sat in the couple's car now a special two hour episode of twenty twenty Blake is speaking out fourteen years after his acquittal like getting this. Right. It's going to tell you because there I know he's going to tell you difficult Blake previously made headlines with his infamous jailhouse interview with Barbara Walters. Watched by twelve million people back in two thousand and three you made almost a dozen movies in which you are the played a murderer or somebody in jail. Do you think the today there are people on maybe the press who say he is that guy is that tough guy the films that you made people think is Robert Blake. No, the cops invented that person. And shoved it down presses throat and oppress loved it. They walked up and down the streets saying fifteen thousand dollars for anything bad about Robert Blake Robert innocent. Of course. Of course, I'm innocent. Of course, a minister. Found guilty. What are they gonna do to me? What are they gonna do? Donald ready. They took away my entire past. They took away my entire future already. Oh, what's left for him to take the eighty five year old Robert Blake of today? Still speaking his mind, I'm not giving up and stick a gun in my mouth. I'm not juicing. I taken dope you say. Well, why don't you work 'cause I'm half dead? If you live to be yourselves, and you'll never beat anybody with more murals in their life to me. Now, while Blake was acquitted for Bakley's murder, he was found liable for her wrongful death in a civil case brought by Bakley's children and was ordered to pay millions after an appeal. They settled that confidentially, but you see Robert Blake still has a lot to say. There are a lot of parallels. Because just like Robert Blake OJ was also found criminally liable in the civil suit not to pay any money because he had no money news. Heightened his pension and everything. But there are some similarities here the reason why in part why believe Robert Blake got off. And I think he's connected to the lack of sympathy for the victim involved. Very different for bodily Bakley as opposed to the coal Brown. Simpson. If I'm not mistaken Bonny Lee Bakley that was like her ninth marriage from mistaken to when she got finally got around to Robert Blake. So Josh played this next clip with inside edition. I think the address that in here you may hear some of the stuff twice. But. It's interesting how she is characterized in this audio. We the jury in the above entitled action find the defendant, Robert Blake not guilty of the crime of first degree murder fourteen years after he was acquitted of murdering his wife actor Robert Blake is launching a tirade against the police and prosecutors to this day, I hate him. I'm still here. You bastards still here? I didn't die in a box. You got it. I'm still here. Eighty five years old on beatable to hill and gone, but I'm still here. And you're still pounded a beat smoke that Blake spoke with twenty twenty four a two hour special on the Hollywood saga that transfixed America. A lot of people look back on this case. And they say, oh, how did Robert Blake get off? And the answer is because there wasn't a lot of evidence. Could you buy? Blake was a child actor who rose to fame playing a psychopathic killer in in cold blood and a detective on TV's Beretta. In November two thousand he married Bonny Lee Bakley small time swindler who'd been married nine times nine baby daughter rose who Blake doted on after just seven months of marriage Lonnie Lee was shot dead. In the passenger seat of Blake's car just moments after leaving talion restaurant where they've been having dinner Blake ran to a neighboring house for help. And that neighbor called nine one one of the after Robert Blake.

"There's one way to do this or the other. And if the baby Skinner is the right choice. And if I bothered to compare all the guys I might be here to say. So he seems like a fine choice. There's the incredible year that he's indefinitely way on the other side of the spectrum from Zambia's Gergen's. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, he deserves to be on the ballot. It was on Twitter yesterday. How somebody had a poll that they put up you guys might remember this somebody put a poll up like a few days ago or a week ago after the dolphins fired their coach somebody put a poll up about the idea of the jets hiring him. And this was like a jet media guy. I think wasn't Dan. But somebody like put a poll up on Twitter to jet fans. Adam gay says the next jet coach like it or dislike it, and he said, I didn't know about this until yesterday when gas was hired and the guy wrote that in he tweeted over it, and he wrote that before they hired him. It was like nine percent liked the idea. Now, it's like thirty percent. Way just like Josh Allen and the field house when the bills drafted Josh Allen, people were really upset about that. Right. And look at people now it's not even because he had this season. He had which was okay. No. It started changing immediately. It's cheese immediately. I once that's how it works. Once they did it. This is our guy now. Right. And I don't have to be right. And I'm not here to argue about it, necessarily, or of course, hosted talk show about it. I'm just here to root for him. That's my team. That's it. So a lot of times arguments for anything here anywhere. They sound like that you are saying this thing because you like the thing or else, you would not think this you can't make this argument rational argument is just a you're a fan. A lot of fans are at that way. I'm a fan. I'm not that way. At least I try not to be that way. But okay, it's not a problem. Just how it is. So Adam gays like way more people on board with him once they hired them. And so it's all all this stuff is like is the same for me in that way. If we're talking about something, and this can be politics. This can be anything. Why are you arguing for what you're arguing for is this like really trying to nail this or you really just you know, you want it to turn out a certain way. So you're making that argument. Good for Jeff Skinner. It's cool that it happens on this day when he's in Carolina. I mean, you know, at the end of all that which which is all like. Mostly agreeable with me, if not entirely agreeable with me. I wanna say. The whole thing was going to be a popularity contest for whoever was going to get it. I'm glad our guy was the popularity contest. What I mean? Like, I'm sure lots of fans in Toronto voted as many times as they could. And the Leafs were probably tweeting out. Like, hey, go here and vote for Morgan ride, whatever it's not worth it. It's I don't take it seriously at all. But good guys there. It'll be more fun. Like I liked watching Michael in the all star game last year. It'll be more fun to have two guys. They're definitely gonna watch. Because this is what I do. When is it the weekend? Glenn where there's no football. Good question. Yes. Bye. Bye week. Yeah. Yeah. Between championship games in the day or two days after the song draft. Right. I think it's the I think it's the Saturday. No Sunday that Sunday to Saturday will be skills. And then Sunday will be the game. I think that'd be the twenty seventh. Right. Okay. I found that Eichel will become the first sabre to play into all star game since Brian Campbell. This is according to hockey reference, which has the rosters from each all star game, by the way, two thousand ten two thousand thirteen two thousand fourteen there were no all star games. Like other thing about hockey here with whatever Olympics, lockouts and stuff. Two thousand five hundred sixty two all star games. Ten thirteen fourteen anyway Eichel and Skinner this year last year Kyle okposo in seventeen O'Reilly in sixteen Gergen's and fifteen Jason palm villain twelve. No saber in eleven they did play. But there was no saber in the game. I don't know about injuries here. Either Vanco nine Campbell. Oh eight and oh seven is the year that maybe this was in Dallas where Briere Campbell and Miller all rated maybe we're all starters. Yes. They were all started to in his starters and Linde was the coach and Linde was the coach two thousand. So why would all the way back to like ninety eight four nobody. Oh, three. If there was a game over three she tan. Okay. Oh to Zhitnik. Hashtag has gone by then a one hash EQ two thousand tan anyway. Two thousand all star team all-star game. Like, I wanted to have some fun sort of remembering guys from about that long ago and hockey. Who played for team North America. Lots of different formats to of course, divisions two thousand is this before your time Joe as far as like, I remember it. But right about the start of when I'm like really paying attention. Okay. I'm five or six. Yeah. And those teams you might never forget the first time you start to follow sports that stuff. See stays in their first time remembering playing the NHL video game. I did that game had t- North America and team world in it or whatever it was. All right. You wanna try this? Then name the eight defensemen on team North America in the two thousand all star game. Okay. Chris pronger? Yup. L mckenna's. Yup. Both on the blues. We got the blues. Scott, Scott Niedermayer. No Scott Stevens. Yes. She was. Snubbed. Scott Stephen admire got snubbed this looks like a team famous. Probably this looks like at a time when everybody every team was in once. Every teams represented represented either on the were on each team are on either team right Japan is the only sabre and he's on the world team. Of course. Okay. Two thousand eighteen North America defenseman. Chris chellios? Yup. Chellios McKenna's Pronger Stevens. There are four more. These are big rosters. Hall of Famer hall of Famer. Almost hall of Famer far away, and let's see not hall favor. One guy had a good career. No world Roman amyloid stupid world world not in the game. But yeah. Were some teams zero. Is there a Hatcher in there? No, no, no Hatcher. There's a flyer. On North America. Defensemen. You'll get it. He was good for a long time. Pretty good for a long time. Oh, Eric Desjardins? Does yarden. Him hall of fame near hall of fame hall of fame near hall of Famer left. I feel like he scored six thousand goals on one timers from the point on powerplays against the sabers six thousand probably like four, but like got him. I don't know. I mean, I'm I'm gonna struggle. Robert Blake Robert Blake is right would poll rate. Ray Bork is right. And there's one more played for Calgary. Warner. Goes have saber ties though. He did play for the sabres to Jordan Leopold, Steve monitor note, no all of fame come on. I want to be able to get this. I want you to get gear. No. A lot of Calgary defenseman sabretech what hall of fame defensemen played for Calgary represented Calgary in the two thousand all star game that had sabre connections and also played for buffalo. Dion. Enough. This is the reason I brought it up. I'm sorry. I missed part of the the clue I two thousand all star game Calgary. Flames defencemen played for buffalo. This is the reason I brought it up this person. Look at these two. I love it. Oh the day day made. Sorry. Phil Housley, right? There's literally a hockey card in here. Housley so many teams how about that. I think I would have been stopped by that to watch. Yeah. Play for the sabres and is in the hall of fame defenseman for the flames. I think I would have been stumped by that too. So yeah, we dug out you got it. All right. Good for Jeff Skinner tonight. Sabres and hurricane seven thirty robbery at four and pre-game for tonight's one six thirty from Raleigh, Paul Hamilton. Will join us then eight oh three oh, five fifty is our number. We'll talk about the divisional round in the playoffs. Lots of other stuff is always song draft two weeks away. Get a little song draft preview in. I'm having some fun on Twitter which the song. Yes. Me too. Mike show opened the bulldog here. Happy friday. This is WJR..

They walked up and down the streets in fifteen thousand dollars for anything bad about Robert Blake. Robert are you innocent? Of course. Of course. Of course, a minister what if you were found guilty. What are they going to do to me? What are they gonna do that? They haven't done already. They took away my entire past. They took away my entire future. What's left form? The take the eighty five year old Robert Blake of today. Still speaking his mind, I'm not keeping up. Steve good in my mouth, juicing taken dope. You say, well, why don't you work some half dead? If you live to be yourself. He'll never beat anybody with more miracles in their life than me now while Blake was acquitted for Bakley's murder, he was found liable for her wrongful death in a civil case brought by Bakley's children and was ordered to pay millions after an appeal. They settled that confidentially you could see that Robert Blake interview on ABC's twenty twenty tonight at nine o'clock on KOMO four. It's ten forty four. Actually, pleading guilty to her crime, which happens to be well, it was just a traffic bio icy. Okay, she's pulled over by police cruiser last month. But it was it was hidden for certain degree Dallas coming out. She had to appear in court. She was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign. The ticket reportedly no taste that. She was driving a twenty sixteen blue Ford moving violation and she gets into the news because she beat the rap twenty years ago. The death of her kid. Yes, she had to go to court and she entered a guilty plea to the charge and pay the penalty of two hundred and sixty four dollars to close the case this if anything if you don't know my history of disgusting, Casey, Anthony's slash OJ slash Robert Blake and so forth. I like the slash. Oh, Allah was even thinking about that. Now. I know okay. Is that the difference? I would say between OJ in Casey Anthony on one level. Is that OJ didn't know when to sit his dumb ass down. Now, he didn't and Casey Anthony removes herself from the public eye. She knew. I she it's like, look, I as we say in the parlance of politics when you win an upset election. She drew an inside straight as it were. Okay. And she knew I just dodged something that would have effectively ended. My existence has a free being I will keep my head down OJ on the other hand figured, you know, no pun intended. I'm the star dropped below bills in USC tried to re enter his life as it was as if nothing had happened. And they're going to kick me on the way down. I. I better not do anything to bring their and attention. Like, oh, I don't know kidnap somebody who may have taken some of my memorabilia in Las Vegas where there is a cop every three hundred feet something like that something like that something like that. I mentioned Robert Blake Robert Blake story. Either way Robert Blake was the star of a TV show called Baretta. Just see, you know, not only that he was one of the latter generation of the little the little rascals. Yeah. I mentioned Robert Blake because his former wife Bonny Lee Bakley. Yeah. Was murdered basically in between him getting out of a car going to get some food right at a restaurant and then coming back, right? And it's almost like oh my goodness. Imagine the good fortune bake air quotes, someone getting murdered that you hate. Why you walked away? What incredible coincidence that is? I happened to be in a place, which could which is easily identifiable if I wanted to give this information to somebody assuming I would do something like that. And the time that I would be getting out of the car with my hated spouse next to me, so she's by herself where there are. I don't know, you know. No theoretical. What's the word for those things? Witnesses. And and I go get the food and when I return presto, change o she's dead. Oh. Man, a quote, unquote. Good fortune. Can you imagine how the the odds on that happening twice? I say that to say, yeah. Robert Blake also was someone who kept a very low profile. She used to live in studio city right next to the sportsmen's lodge in. Yeah. And pins. Bowling says Jerry's deli right on that corner Ventura boulevard. Yeah. Often I would spend evenings hanging out at the bar at the sportsmen's lodge. Yeah. Robert Blake was in there often. Because there there are a lot of the of the bird on his shoulder. No, he didn't. The cockatoo. No, okay. They would have these elderly. I would say like menus brunch in early dinners for just elderly folks, he have the discounts. This is before they really remodeled it, so you'd have people come in of a certain age demographic. But this Robert Blake, you know, it's him. Right. But he was very much to himself. People would acknowledge him. Occasion. If he would say, Hello, whatever. But he made it a point to stay below the radar. Sure as did Casey, Anthony. You know on the other hand you in Casey Anthony's defense in a way this moving violation to take place in Florida yesterday. Okay. Well, Florida's a place where people eat bath salts and then e people's faces. Okay. So yes. So you know, she would have to really act out in the extreme to get attention in Florida, not necessarily, and I'm gonna use George Zimmerman as compare cyclops the psycho the psychotic, but everything he did sometimes minor sometimes major in Florida, right? Would get in the news as a function of who he was and what he had done in the court case surrounding him. Sure. So I would assume the same thing for Casey, Anthony, the difference is the only thing that she's done. She hasn't really done. Any interviews. She's quiet. She got a ticket. She got a ticket. Now, she didn't want to be like the poster child for stand your ground or various. And sundry political causes George Zimmerman wanted to be the caused slip. Also, remember didn't Zimmerman go public to raise as much money as possible for his defense. Not only that. But he went public trying to make money off the death of Trayvon Martin. I would say of murder of Trayvon Martin where he was signing pictures of him of Trayvon Martin deceased in the dirt things of that nature. Calling more attention to himself and living in a weight comparing to Casey Anthony completely differently. And you've noticed that their fortunes have been drastically different in divergent because of that case he's alive, and well and Zimmerman who knows oh a shout out to our friend in twenty nine palms. Suzie Q. She's listening over the internet story. John. Okay. Well, you have more time to do more shot us because when we come back, we're gonna talk about not necessarily politics, but a celebrity who's hinting. "When he joins us the top requirement is we must play a local band. We have the replacements here. Mr. Harrigan is that correct? You can you give me the tune the lead the ledge does that meet your improvable, Mr. Sullivan off pleased to meet me. Absolutely. Yeah. I mean, it's kind of a grim song that's breakthrough album with our children some other Catholic play guys hootenanny next week. Exact see Dave is like, whoa. He's blown away. But I'm not after talking to number ten years. I know, you know, the music scene. Very very well. Have you ever had a chance to see stuff at first avenue? I you know, what I have not it's one of the great regrets. Been there. Many times I've been a butcher, and bore and Irie one twelve. Oh, yeah. Look at all these places, I've just never been there. What are they going to see some some music and? Actually, just played in New Jersey. But I I was travelling to Austria. Worked trip whatever something just again. But appreciate those the local. Yeah. Some time and a no it's it's mainly work related, but hopefully does work out. I am a fifty three year old, but I still love music and every time I go to first avenue. I walk away saying this is still just a fantastic fantastic place. And sometimes Brown will go there knowing very little about the act, and sometimes it doesn't work out. But other times, that's some fun where you're just pleasantly surprised about what you see for the legendary places, and by the way, not many places like that left even even in New York City. I'm forty seven brother. I'm not far behind you. Yes. And then it's different. Okay. Now, how was Austria? Contentious. I mean, not not by me personally, we had an ice time. But I mean, it was the OPEC you're seeing I know that you're. And your listeners oil falling the president loves oil falling because you, you know, you go to the gas station. Prices come down more spending money in your pocket. And that's a good thing for the consumer. But there is a huge part of the oil story, which is a little more complicated retailers. Boom that so many now. Matt is built on get and companies have to make enough money that they can pay all the get. They've borrowed to drill for all that oil. So they cut one point two million barrels a day there were apparently the Iranian minister screaming for two days. I actually spoke to him personally Kyodo our camera. We talk. He had a message for Austin as you might imagine there cut it, obviously not doing enough. The world is a Washington will good for drivers bad for the stock market. How much of that of that the glut that is out there is related to the volatility of the market the last few months. Gosh that is a tough question. I mean is so global that there's too much of it here and not enough of it here, or whatever it might be. There's just how much oil out there. Now. How much oil and gas stocks are still an important part of the S and P five hundred they're not as much as they used to be. But it's gonna be very hard for the market to rally without them. I don't know how much of the slide is just sell everything, including these names or fifty to fifty one bucks, and these companies aren't gonna make as much money for make no money. I think it's all kind of related kind of mealy-mouth not answer, but sort of all in the same basket and the basket being rolled down the hill. Let me look at a tweet the president excuse me offered up a couple of hours go China just announced their economies growing much slower than a -ticipant because of our trade war with them. They have just suspended US tariff hikes US is doing very well. China wants to make a big and very comprehensive deal. It could happen rather soon on the Chinese economy slowing the president is completely accurate on that. Correct. Yeah. Gusto output fell to a growth rate of factory four percent retail sales. Also came in a little bit weaker. Listen. Here's the thing. If your kid goes from an aide when a minus right their grades are slipping. Yup. But it's still not a bad grade. Right. And. Got your wants to throw the point four percent. Is by no means bad. I mean, we would like that. They have a different data set. Okay. Got a terrible number. Let's say industrial output her manufacturing for us went five point four percent. We'd be happy about that. Slowdown. He is correct. Or nounce today? There were going to polish. Heroes increase on two hundred eleven cars and car parts, not doing eleven cars, but two hundred seven models and vehicle parts for ninety days. Ninety eight truce we put one on two weeks ago. Now, they put one on. Here's the worry though. We're getting these tweets which from the president. It's a positive tweet move the market at all the market didn't care what walk how I would've expected the market would have responded, positively. But you know, a way better than me. How come well? That's the point number. I think there's two reasons number one is words are nice, but actions are better. Yeah. Number two. I think again, we've got this sort of this world tool that's been swirling around a lot of different things. Whether it's trade is a part of that Brexit, maybe a part of that interest rate increases a part of that whatever it might be. And we've also had a market, by the way, he's rallied spectacularly the last couple of years. So I think you're sort of in this trade is is a boat in that world pool. I think if we got a deal on paper, not just tweets, we might see a reaction. But right now, I think the computers in sort of chart Brian Sullivan with us check him out on regular basis CNBC and also on Twitter at sully CNBC, while the way I can't stand that name sully. I there was another Brian CNBC when I got there. So I changed it. I don't know. So okay. You're good buddies. They don't call you sully. No. They called me. Jaakko Jaakko gets the rugby thing. Now, you were a rugby guy. Not anymore. I'm old and fat. But the day I all right. It's kinda tough till play rugby when you're forty seven right. Token impossible. People are out there doing it for here. I can barely make it through the airport. Maybe like, maybe you could be the brains behind a senior league of rugby rugby, by the way is the sport of the future for kids. I'm not kidding. I have a four year old son. I don't know how that happened four year old son. And you know, it's like I would let him play rugby in American because the way you tackle is is a smart way shoulder. I I think it's a gross sport. Anybody out there checkout rookie, seven fast paced growing. I'm just throwing that I have no stake in the game other than I like watching it. Okay. So people drink beer with rugby. But that's just a issue. Okay. For safety purposes. When people are having these debates now as we're learning more about CAT, Ian in what's the proper reaction was an overreaction, you believe for like middle school and high school kids rugby is safer than football. I don't know if it's safer on every position. I played tight end in America. Jealousy over the middle. You take some hits. Yeah. You know, I I'm six four to forty now. But I was six four one forty Dan. Fall down a drainpipe careful. You get clobbered gone over the middle. I just a sport with you play it the proper way. Professional football teams out the Vikings look too good lately. No have brought in rugby coaches to reteach. Yes. Grown men. Correct. Million dollar your players. How to tackle? Yes. I've watched that. I don't believe the Vikings have done that. But. Well, the the Vikings play the Seahawks this past Monday. And they're punting isn't he oh, a very successful former rugby player, I believe I think so they get they're getting more punters from from from Australia. Australian rules football. You know, my nickname is jockey back in the eighties battery commercials for energizer energizer batteries. That's where the name came from its documents on TV. I don't know the guy is currently some Australian dude who was we player singer your combo way off topic. How about these markets? Yeah. No. I I like bounce around with it. That's that's the fun having because I think of and again, we're fairly close in age, Robert Conrad, and Robert Conrad would put the battery on his shoulder daring people to knock it off. I think I have that. Right. Or maybe I've suffered Robert Conrad or was it that who's the guy that played, Greta. That's isn't that him. Was it? Am I gonna know Robert Blake Robert Blake Robert Blake? That's right. That's right. Because there's power. Didn't you always pay top sergeant? Yeah. Yeah. I think but yeah. Robert blake. I think I've got that. Right. Okay. Let's let's circle back here. The markets. The the president. All over the place. Obviously a lot of things including on the fed was highly critical the fad about rates, and what is going on. What is your sense on? How the fed how the top people have reacted to that. And how will that play out next year? Well, next week forget about now, we've got a fed meeting next week where it's widely expected they're going to raise rates now. The odds of a rate hike have come down, but they still better than fifty percent. And the Federal Reserve remember which despite the name. Okay. You know, you talk to you with a Federal Reserve. It's an arm of the government. It's not Federal Reserve employees. Do not get government pensions. They're not part of the federal government, technically they are their own entity, which is created by the banks in nineteen thirteen. So they're supposed to be politically immune to pressure and Trump put pressure on them in the Twitter way. That's modern. But other president in the past have have also. Yeah, they're not totally independent. We're going to find out what happens next week the markets expecting a rate hike. Here's the weird box that the fed is now in. If they don't want to raise rates because the market has been sliding Chinese data's coming in little weaker, whatever it might be. Let's say they get your and they actually do not want to raise rates. They've just come off a Mars. It's gonna look like they're they're succumbing to the president. Yes. Right. If they do raise rates, then the president's going to attack them as not being remember. He's real estate developer. Right. Its core. Real estate developers want loaded. No interest rates. They're the kings of borrowing. Yeah. So interest rates higher. Interest rates are the an asthma. Well, remember he would say that during the campaign. I love debt, I'm all about debt. Well, if you're real if you want to build a billion dollar building US Bank stadium, you're probably gonna have to borrow money. Yeah. Right. Rates are better and so forth. The president pushing him that way. I do wonder how much the fed might be influenced by sort of the global mail strong. I mean, if you're the Federal Reserve and you're looking out, and there's Brexit, right? The British leaving the EU Brexit really an and now a couple months they're trying to get a deal. They can't get at you. And you've got course trade fight which seems to be causing a little bit. But it's still, you know, it's still out there. Yeah. That might influence your decision. But the market knows it. Listen, the bond market's already moved mortgage rates have climbed up and. No. If you guys are affected by this tax in New Jersey ri- live, you know, we have high taxes most people itemize because of because of that. And and I know that that I live in west blessed and lucky enough living on a nice nice area. And our housing market is shut off. Yes. It slow down dramatically. You know? And so people are like big factor that in I'm sure there's every Saint Louis park. It's a nice areas near lake area. Where y'all are where people are are. It's it hurts. Well, and and and the legislature last year Brian did not come up with conformity to the to the federal tax changes. And there was a lot of pushback on that. And it's what are they trying to do? Well, they were just feeling like that. Once they were the dramatic federal changes that in the numerous areas. So we didn't have to fill out at as expansive of trying to form our state taxes to our federal taxes that you could bring these two more in sync in some of these areas, and it didn't happen now..

So they're cheaper on your website. And and then you'll also autograph and I'm upset that the stock all the FANG stocks have dropped. So I'm not happy with us or anybody at this moment you you'll sign them. Will you also call her them in for me? Well, work. I don't want to do it. Well, you make a good point. Because what I did. In addition to the book as I did a video version of it. So there are twenty twenty five quotes you will see on the video side of the book come to life. You'll see him colored in and then you can use these video quotes as a way to conduct your team meeting. Pause and play because you can download all of these as separate quotes. Yeah. Yeah. So then they can if you color you done the thing Ross style don't could reference. No. But I am hosting it. I'm setting it up. So I'm your virtual host. If you don't wanna bring me into host this run your team meeting. You can have it done by me vis-a-vis video. And that that kind of speaks to oh, I get to host to get right? Yeah. This is all something that we never want to give up. We love doing it. Well, we'd lived the hotel relates the interacting. It really is. That's what I love more about. It is Johnny Carson's quote about that was in when his show was coming to an end. And they said, why are you so successful in his profound statement? He goes, I never tried to be the best guest on my own show. Isn't that the truth? Yeah. Any proves it. But we keep going back to how great he was. But I think he did set the Mark, you know, my wife, and this she may be upset with me. But I've been watching it like crazy on TV and she doesn't it. She doesn't see how old is your wife. If I may ask you seventeen but. Well, she's in her forties. But she doesn't she doesn't see the magic that that you do. I do this is different pace. That's for sure it is slow. So I get that it is slow and a lot of times the guests are painfully boring. They are then I think we've now expect we expect more we expect them than quicker. We have a we live in an instant gratification culture where we don't want to wait. And everything's mean when everything's produced to like, everything is basically setting you up for a story with a payoff, whereas Johnny would just go. Laundry and the guy that you'd see Robert Blake Robert Blake is a bad example because he would be funny and making stupid. Yes. But some actress from a soap opera would go, but I found that I hosted Mike and Mattie we were morning daytime and they would pretend to be the guests, and they would come in. And here's a little peel behind the curtain on a morning talk show. They will pre interview the guest the night before. And then the ideas this celebrity will then spit out the same answers that gave the night before. And just behind the camera is the segment producer with the cue cards waving to get you to ask that question to set them up. And this this goes to show you how important listening is. And maybe that Trump's anything else because she wants me to ask opera. Cu les? This question that came up, and what she didn't hear was Robert was talking about his father on his deathbed said son, you're meant to sing do that. It's just going to get. But what about the tree he lost in the fire? You know, you can't go to that. No..

"So I have I have I have a question. I'll tease it's uniquely Mark arrogance. It's not a law question. But it's a very Mark question that I it's of a per not of a personal nature. But it's something that I've always known about or felt, but I don't have any proof. And I'm very curious what your take is on this. And then we'll get back to. Show quick question. All right million question. I've not seen Harvey Weinstein out and about in months now in as the he'd be out to dinner, and they take pictures and gave him on TMZ, and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, Tupper all those remember Zona. We. Constantly out eating dinner, and they were bothering him. Bob. First things first is part of this deal. When you're representing a guy like Weinstein, do you start by saying, you just go into hotel, and you order room service, and you don't set foot outside like, I don't want to hear your name Messini pictures. I don't want any anything. I certainly don't wanna kerfuffle with Yona TMZ cameraman, but I just don't even want. I don't even want to hear your name for five months. I think a lot of times the clients themselves get into this head space where they just they they don't want to deal with the story. I mean, I remember when he was in Arizona. And I I mean, if you're better if you're Blair or somebody, you're probably, you know, every day there's a different story because there's a different property. I think clients get into that space where they don't wanna talk. They don't want to be the story. They'd rather have more control over because I think whether it's him whether it's other clients that I've represented there is. A certain aspect of it just wears you down. And when you're in a criminal case, it's different than say. I don't know what Pete Davidson, for instance, right now, he appears you know, there's a lot of chatter about him. And he appears and I don't think it's, you know, it's not all negative, although there's always negative negatively on the internet. But when you're accused criminally there is an aspect where you just want to show where I'd like to just put the client attorney advise. Yeah. That client if the client will ask usually and the attorney will generally say, no, I don't want you talking. I don't want you to famously. I remember there Harland Braun was the original lawyer on Robert Blake Robert Blake gave an interview to Barbara Walters. I think in the county jail Harlan fired him then mezro represented him at the pre limb. And then I think. Blake fired mezro and then. Schwarzenbach represented him at trial. And by the way, interestingly talks about you know, you never know the experts don't always though, I think that when they played the interview of Robert Blake that had been taped. And he had lost his lawyer over lost Harland over I think that helped to acquit him because he didn't have to take the stand. He was able to tell his story to Barbara. But famously I'll give you the opposite of that Diane Sawyer interviewing Scott Peterson. That was cringe-worthy when you watched it, and they played that at the trial that general, but the general rule of thumb for you as an attorney to the client, zip zip. It absolute question, that's very Mark arrogance and very. I mar Mark you'll be one of the you're one of these guys. There's a commercial back in the seventies. When they'd say, how many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie roll Tootsie pop and nobody knew and they said, let's ask mister owl. He's wise, and he knows everything. And that's the way I feel about Mark. I have these ideas, and I go I need to ask more doll to spike. You take a moan? Second..

"More or less the orient. Julia show, my talk, everything entertainment. We have decided that Minneapolis and Seattle have switched climates for the last several days weeks. Feels. Seattle last week. I am going to Seattle for my motifs birthday. And we do have flip reverse situations. Sunny and sixties in Seattle, and I for five minutes, the beauty salon getting my hair blown out. There's like a dazzling five minutes where the sun came out. And we were all like, I mean, really we're just people are just like night. Although I read a very depressing. Thing in Paul's Douglas's thing I mean that maybe will make us feel better about the like what is it been eight days? He reminded us in today's search Byun that in two thousand and nine act over of two thousand and nine we set a record because we in the metro area. There was one sunny day in all of October. We've blanked out of our minds because it must have made us also mad. We'd like to have the fault. You know, the fall is just prettiest time of the year. So pretty in the and the trees need some sun to get read. So anyway, he said, hopefully, it won't be that act Tober, and I thought well there you go. Now, I went on to work this morning kind of in the result. But I did find I'm gonna and the prettiest tree am that had turned red. But you do need a lighter sky to get the contracts. But I know what made me happy today is that I went back, and you and I were Jason show last Thursday October fourth if anyone still recording save during the last half hour, you can watch Jason on Hulu demand. I laughed where we fell hard. Yes. We could have been Mike better. But it was it that made me laugh. Back the memory of the day before the big event last Friday, and they feel like, you know, we did so much work. Sheedy olive branch that was offered about something. Yeah. You and he liked the term and he played never have. I ever. It was really laureate. Maybe laugh, and it just made me reminisce that we did so much last week. And now it's over. Yeah. I'm okay with it being over. I mean, I do the stain over at mystic again to hang out with you. That would be fun be. Yeah. I know all that improv exercising and all that extra you at a sick look on your face when he was asking you. How are you enjoying this experiment? How much do you love? Impress improv. Why don't they? They hate it. They're not gonna make us. Remember when you ask them when we were playing zip zap zap, which is just this game. Where you it's free flow. You just try to go fast and and pass it off to they're gonna make us through that on sage. That was an exercise. Thank god. I thought we were going to do that stage. And I told him it was awful. Just like so funny. It was just kind of. That was a big night for us a big ninety. Isn't it already becoming more fun now that we've had more distance from it as predicted? Yeah. It'd be nice for people to see it. Figuring people. Smile today because that's that's our job people. Yeah. We've there there. There is some delightful things that are happening out happening out there that we can have some fun. And this happened actually this weekend. On Saturday people who are fans of the Walking Dead will know this character actor Scott Wilson, he played Herschel who was this farmer and veterinarian he was on the show for three years. His you know, he he's a he was described by leading. Film critic Glenn Lovell as one of Hollywood's most respected, but least used character actors and he passed away Saturday of lymphoma at the age of seventy six at home. And here's here's the deal with him fifty years acting in Hollywood he was best known for playing villains in rogue's often with a southern accent. Because he grew up in a small town in Georgia. And he shot Robert Redford's character to death in the nineteen seventy-four tation of the great Gatsby. He played a dog eating squirrel killing neighbor in the family, film, Shiloh and its two sequels, and he also was in in the heat of the night and in cold blood two of throws critically acclaimed movies. In fact, in the heat of the night, which was based on a novel about a black police detective from Philly played by Sidney toy ta right? He played the murder suspect in Norman Jewison directed the film, the movie won five Academy Awards best picture, and then his reputation also came in one thousand nine hundred sixty seven same years in the heat of the night where he was cast as dick Hitchcock, the young killer. He portrayed in in cold blood based on the Truman Capote book, Robert Blake. Yes. And he went years sometime. Times after nineteen sixty seven between jobs because people just didn't know how to cast him and four months after after in cold blood came out, then Scott Wilson appeared in in cold and the killings in this small town in Kansas which were committed by these two drifters. Right. Played by Robert Blake Robert Blake and Scott Wilson became a national sensation because that nonfiction novel, you know, lead up to the crimes the killers of and their execution in one thousand nine hundred seventy five and then two years later, the movie came out, and they were cast in large part Robert Blake and Scott Wilson because they look so much like Dale Hitchcock in Perry. Smith, the real killers and the writer director Richard Brooks shot it in black and white and on location, filming the murder scenes in the farmhouse were Herbert clutter and his family were robbed. And killed and seven of the original jurors appeared in the trial seems. Oh, stop. Yeah. So Roger Ebert said Wilson and Blake are so good. They passed beyond performance in almost into life. Every actor in the English speaking world one of those two rural roles excuse me, including hall Newman and Steve McQueen because the book was such a sensation. Jeez. And it's pretty amazing. Yeah. And when the performers appeared alongside Truman Capote on the cover of life magazine, they were just described only as actors playing killers without giving their names. So no one ever really kind of knew who he was. And I guess for fans of the Walking Dead. He is going to appear in the show's ninth season in. So he was just seventy seventy six seventy six four. And he really was like when his character died. I'm walking the Walking Dead. I mean, people it was like really you were just like not Herschel because he was he was kind of a really beloved anybody really struggled. If you look at them up you'll recognize we kind of what you've seen him in some different things. But that's where he became famous in those two roles, but then he was so typecast as two killers. Sure. So anyway, I just thought that that was good. Detail and Scott, are you listening? We come back. We're going to switch back to Hollywood. And this is from a late night appearance that happened last week Choi, but because it involves one of our favorite actor boyfriends. We have to revisit our story. We can't get enough of Wednesdays on Jason and Alexis in the morning, it's the birthday prank big time cheerleader high school, and I want to do this Frank where you know, if you've got a reunion with all the Oliver cheerleaders in that class may have to do like a big performance dance. All kind of a thing. Can you still do a back Handspring? Oh my God. No. Oh, really? Probably been fifteen years since I've. I mean, I could practice, but it's so soon. Well, we can work around that. I guess, hey, Brandon. Why don't you tell Alicia your wife that she's been birthday pranked? Birthday prankings.

"Colleen Lindstrom. Bradley trainer and Bill. Cosby gets to keep. Yeah. He gets to keep his Hollywood walk fame star. I think this is very important news that sarcasm in a statement on Tuesday. So earlier this week officials from the Hollywood chamber of commerce. Decided to allow the star to keep his walk of fame star despite the clear horri- of I'm sorry. I get a notion Joe actually had a burp that I was trying to cover up. That's the truth. That is true. So again, the chamber of commerce released a statement and said the star only of Bill Cosby star in particular the stars only commemorate the recipients professional accomplishments. Describing the walk of fame as a historical record of entertainment figures past and present once installed the stars become part of the historic fabric of the walk of fame and are intended to be permanent. It is regrettable when the personal lives of inductees do not measure up to the public standards and expectations. However, the Hollywood chamber of commerce does not remove stars from the Hollywood walk of fame. So there it will stay. So the story is plainly his star will say now, I have two thoughts. And I hope you have some as well. I thought is I don't really care that a stars on the walk payment. I don't think in the grand scheme of things his perpetrators perpetrators has victims probably care, although they probably aren't going to be walking down the Hollywood walk of fame anytime soon see that based staring back and if they wanted it removed. I wouldn't I wouldn't feel you know, I wouldn't be scratching begrudge them. In the grand scheme of things that we need to be talking about in the wake of Bill Cosby Harvey Weinstein Kevin Spacey at such less moon. Vez let us not forget him. Yes. Less does not. Lest we forget less. I don't feel like that's where we need to put our efforts petitions to remove his Hollywood walk of fame star. Right. And also, I would say that because you know, other people stars have been. To face tampered with him. And I just like I get that people have feelings. But I also know that when I was little my mother told me that if you have feelings that doesn't mean you have to act on those, and she often said feelings are like treasures, so bury them she actually. That's from a movie, but but the point is like just because you have really uncomfortable. Feelings doesn't mean you have to act on them. So like, I just I think it's a silly thing to focus on. Honestly, I think pilot for me it takes the focus off what the focus should be on the day. Can we talk about the actual stars on the Hollywood walk of fame? Number one. It's I mean, not that it is not a huge honor for the one upon whom the star is, you know, bestowed in the moment. Not that it's not an honor for that person. I don't wanna take that away. Imaginary? It is not the purchase purchased. They pay for it. It is not like this is some sort of everlasting long living library of people who have accomplished good works. Right. It is like many awards in Hollywood. It is bought and purchased literally by the person in his honoring. This is not something where you know, the some academy of people who've done well in the world calls up the person and says we've decided to honor you please be at your ceremony. No, there's a negotiation that takes place there is money that exchanges hands, and then that stars place there. So that being said, there are plenty of names are a you don't even know are there. Well, and be it's it doesn't really mean anything it is it is again, a reflection of the work. He has done in his career. Here. Let me be clear if they were to remove it. I also wouldn't care, and I would say that for them to expend all that time and effort seems a little silly. Maybe they could just donate some money to an organization that helps women who are actually dealing with. The effects of sexual assault and workplace. However, there are also many other people whose stars on the Hollywood walk. I mean, they might as if they're gonna get rid of his than they might as well be clear earth thorough about it. And get rid of all the other celebrities who. Ended up being one thing and not the other bright, right? Or a lot of those celebrities on the Hollywood walk of fame from the nineteen thirties, the people from nineteen forties and fifties and sixties that we've since changed our minds on now that I think would be a little different if say there was a giant mural of Bill Cosby or a giant statue of Bill Cosby somewhere. You know, you've seen educational institutions that honored him remove those honors. And I think that seems perfectly valid because that is a singular thing I don't feel like it's that much of a thing when it's just like there's one of. A number of stars. And it's just as name. I mean to your point Bradley, there are plenty of people on the Hollywood walk of fame who have done far worse. No doubt. I'm sure there are probably murderer absolutely people who've actually see is what's his name on the Hollywood walk of fame who Robert Blake Robert Blake whose that he killed his wife. He used to be in the little rascals. Potentially robert. Oh, yeah. All right. Betty is actually what's his name? Phil Collins do not. The same guy. No. That on purpose. Have..
