How rare it is to get an opportunity. Manage a team. This, this talented and this close to winning. Most of time, your chances air are the opposite. So the combination of Looking forward to get back down there and check it myself. You know, I have the energy and all that stuff. And the White Sox making the call. With a chance to win sooner rather than later. I'm excited that they made that choice and looking forward to what's ahead. There he is. Tony LaRussa, your new white sacks manager. I suppose the markets go way down right when you are ready to retire or worse. They go down after you've already retired. Like what happened back in 2008. What happens then? You need to go back to Work. How would you like a retirement plan that goes up when the market goes up and gives you the most of the market gains with absolutely none of the losses? "One and welcome to the science bloggers. Podcast I'm David Lakshman and I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe sane and healthy as the will deal to the corona virus pandemic and helps to remember that. We're all in this together. My guest speakers Robert Bed Nasr it. Junior doctor from Scotland and host of the patient will see you now way. He talks the gas about their experiences. Living furious medical conditions. When I came across Roberts podcast I immediately fell in love with it and what he was doing and became a fan as a science communicator. I think is important that we listened to and engage with the people to whom we are communicating on a personal level. I have several friends who suffered from endometriosis one of the conditions that rob. It covers in this podcast. Many of these women said that is suffered with this for over several years and in some cases over a decade and won criticism. The said was that the doctor the simply did not listen to them or dismissed experiences now. This isn't meant to criticize doctors far from it. I think the work that had do is invaluable and many of them including the nurses and various medical staff including the hospital cleanup crew all heroes because John the frontlines of this global pandemic. So give them a shot if he can and. I hope you enjoyed this episode. Hello Robert Hall doing. Hey David thank you so much for having me on. I'm doing fine. Thank you. How about you good? And it's good to have you so before we start. Why don't you tell our listeners? A little something about yourself. Sure so my name is Robert Bednarz. I was born and raised in New Jersey in the USA and at the age of twenty two. I decided to go to medical school in Poland and after a six year medical program there. I decided to get a job and I just started working in Scotland Back in August of two thousand nineteen and I am a new fresh Dr F Y. One some people might know it call and I've been working for about seven months and I'm loving it so far. That sounds cool. So what exactly is an Fyi one on your podcast? You describe yourself on your doctor. What exactly is that right? So in depending on which country you're from there's different ways of how a doctor starts working and the way the UK works is that there is a two year like an internship. Kind of kind of picture but you get paid for it. So for two years It's a junior doctor program so I'm there's an F. one or foundation year one and foundation year two. And then after that you kind of decide. What kind of specialty you want to do whether it be pediatrics or surgery or cardiology you know. Pick pick whatever you like and then that's where you start doing your specialization. But these first two years kind of teaches you how to become a really good doctor in terms of talking to your patients how to manage your patients out to manage the Acutely unwell ORT acutely meeting somebody getting really unwell really quick and how to manage it and how to work under stress and under a fast paced environment. And that's what I'm learning right now as an F. One and I am currently in general internal medicine where I cover all different kinds of diseases. Such as diabetes rheumatology like arthritis vascular disease. And so on. Oh so how? Does this compare to say and intern in the US? So in the United States the way it works is after a rigorous medical program. So there's four years of Pre Med and in four years of medical school and when day go and join the workforce. There's not really an inter near you. Kind of choose the specialty. You want immediately jump right into it so whether it be surgery cardiology pediatrics. So be it you kind of go straight into that specialization and start working towards being that consultant level or highest level. Whatever it's called in the US. I'm now more More aware of what they're called here in the UK but it's it's a shorter road to get to that higher placement in the US whereas the UK it's longer But I do believe the hours aren't as bad as as they are in the US. I think in the UK they take care of your. They take care of their doctors very well. Make sure we don't work too hard. Well Yeah I guess good I guess especially with corporate nineteen. I think everyone's pretty much overworked all healthcare professionals and you got a hospital. Is that right? Yeah I work at a university hospital lucky enough so do you WanNa talk about covert nineteen and you know what what's happening. Hostels audience dealing with it. Oh yeah so. That's that can be a very very long conversation but just to make it a short as possible currently where doing okay in the hospital As of today today is the.

"In Hong Kong and here in Singapore on Juliet's Ali and I'm Brian Curtis Hong Kong and China markets opening up here as we speak and trading down this morning other markets in the region down about one to two percent details with Doug prisoner coming up shortly but for now some of the top stories well there was more bad news from the U. S. big banks Goldman Sachs investment portfolio taking a hit from the corona virus pandemic meanwhile bank of America joined competitors JPMorgan chase and Wells Fargo in setting aside billions of dollars for line losses Citigroup also taking similar steps David George is a senior research analyst at Robert bed and he says banks of building up their reserves well pricing if it is severe recession banks are basically taking significant provisions based on economic data rather than underlying credit data so most of these banks are really getting a lot of these credit issues potentially in front of them so which sets up in twenty twenty one and beyond that have very very small provision expense was going for but nonetheless some big numbers so far this quarter David George there at Robert Baird the trump administration meantime is considering paying US oil producers to leave crude in the ground this would help alleviate the glut that has caused prices to plummet and has pushed some drillers into bankruptcy we're told the draft plan would compensate companies for sitting on as much as three hundred sixty five million barrels worth of oil reserves this will be done by effectively making untapped crude part of the U. S. government's emergency stockpile well at the U. S. government will report on weekly jobless claims Thursday morning local time filings will continue to run high for a fourth consecutive wait can we have a preview from Bloomberg's Michael McKee if the consensus forecast is realized that would push the four week total above twenty two million roughly one in eight of the work force that would essentially wipe out all the job gains since the last recession given claims are expected to stay in the millions for several more weeks unemployment above fifteen percent even close to twenty percent is possible for April that would be the highest since the depression Michael McKee Bloomberg daybreak Asia China's auto plants are facing a new headache while recovering from shutdowns that says a potential shortage of parts appears the viruses causing production disruptions throughout Europe North America and Japan which all supply crucial components to the auto makers in China automakers at risk for disruption include global players such as Tesla and BMW and local contenders such as Guangzhou automobile and also Julie China imported thirty six point seven billion dollars of vehicle components last year well Taiwan semiconductor manufacturing is set for its first earnings call since the virus pandemic was declared missing shares in Taipei down by about nine tenths of one percent analysts have two main questions for the earnings call one is how orders from apple doing and the other is what is the risk of the U. S. curbing TSMC sells Stockwell way technologies all right let's get a look at the markets we have some also some new data economic data let's get to do a Christian or a New York dot yeah this is a little surprising if you look at Australian employment for the month of March an increase of fifty nine hundred jobs the estimate was for negative thirty thousand that's quite surprising nonetheless we still have weakness in the Australian equity market although we're off the worst levels of the early going here the ASX two hundred is down about one point three percent and then where China is concerned March home prices are gain of four point one three percent that is a month over month faster though than the growth rate that we had the in in February if you look at what's happening in the equity space on the mainland China composite is down about four tenths of one percent and in Hong Kong hang sang is weaker by about six tenths of one percent right now interesting that the dollar continues to push higher we were up if you look at the Bloomberg dollar spot index in New York trading up about nine tenths of one percent right now the game is about three tenths of one percent the end pulling in at one oh seven seventy eight and the Nikkei two twenty five is down about one point three percent right now so we continued to see of this risk off mood in markets it was really triggered here in the states with some very bleak economic data on retail sales on manufacturing and then home builder sentiment bear in mind Friday in China that is tomorrow we're gonna be getting GDP industrial production retail sales and the jobless report soul was are on holiday yesterday because of the parliamentary elections right now the cost be off only three tenths of one percent and if you look at what happened in the bond market during the New York session we fell ten basis points in yield on the ten year we're kind of holding steady here at sixty eight but check that sixty four basis points and crude oil is recovering on signs that the federal government in the U. S. is considering an oil output cut by sensually paying some of the shale oil drillers not to produce WTI is a twenty fifty right now were up three percent in the electronic session I'm Doug prisoner in New York Juliet thank you Doug will president trump is to advance those talks on reopening the U. "The right thing to do was to suspend the operation of the season looking at every possible scenario to try to restart and the salvage the season should we consider restarting our fans if you had a group of players and staff around them and you can test them and you can follow some protocol doctors health officials may say it's safe to play the one Mr LSU head football coach ed Orgeron tags check out the entire interview on a man in the gold medal podcast brought to you by Capital One why settle for average Capital One you can open a savings account with a rate five times the national average welcome to banking reimagine what's in your wallet Capital One NA member FDIC I go can we go here with you glad you're with us we are presented by progressive insurance so Rachel Nichols or did a interview with NBA commissioner Adam silver yesterday on SportsCenter covering a wide variety of topics including you know their response and why they did what they did when they heard about Rudy go bare testing positive for the corona virus and how they got about testing the Utah Jazz players and I think was important to note that that wasn't there called up with that Adam said in that situation it was Oklahoma City health officials they said you guys cannot leave the locker room with those mass on until we get you tested and that's how that broke down and that was the domino that started everything with all sports being suspended postponed however you want to look at it so then the question becomes resumption where are we there because it's not going to be the thirty days that Adam silver post first put out there on inside the NBA on TNT so here is Adam silver now about the options of restarting the league and what's available to them and when should we consider restarting without fans and what would that mean because personally if you had a group of players and staff around them and you could test them and you can follow some protocol doctors health officials may say it's safe to play so that's sort of second set of circumstances H. got a couple different options in all of them were centered around whatever version of this going forward to discuss maybe a charity event to kind of try and help lift people's spirits and all that right it's all predicated lest you think he's being you're just regarding current standings it's all predicated on should doctors and the people in charge of all of this from a legal administrative standpoint give them the okay that you'd be able to do this in a way that's not going to affect anyone else not gonna put anyone at risk it would only be done if it could be done safely right and for those that may not be aware Chinese basketball leagues are finally beginning over the last week or so right but they are doing so without any fans in the India China and South Korea both starting up their basketball again with no fans and I I'm that's the the thing here we all believe it's all going to start up again at some point but in what way is it going to start out so certainly it's tough to just give one option for what we're gonna do we get back there so has to be multiple options so that's the micro when they come back how will this season look but then there's the macro long play picture is what would they do potentially to change things permanently and Rachel Nichols as office of Scott been built on SportsCenter and said this action caused by this pandemic may lead to permanent changes in how we consume the NBA and when we consume it going forward he has been looking at how to change the NBA calendar and we are in effect in inversely getting a lot of the things that he was talking about experimenting with the mid season break right if we do resume the idea of changing the number of games that we play and possibly even moving the entire calendar I know the lan hawks owner would like to leave here and games to open on Christmas day so that we start competing with the NFL last in the NBA competes more into the major league baseball in the summer and I asked him whether that could lead to more permanent changes and he said possibly well look that was something that he had floated before the outbreak member they try to change the playoff in mid season tournament and all that kind of stuff and that got shot down but what we always say sometimes out of difficult difficulty comes great opportunity and there may be an opportunity here for the NBA to change the way we do this based on what they have to but one thing I do like about the NBA's are pro active more than reoccurring they're looking for things to try and do and I guess I I look at a lot of things from a player side I guess the first thing I would ask is okay how is Adam silver gonna sell to Michelle Roberts in the union how are you going to sell it to us to change basically flip our season R. Y. why should we do that what like anything else what's in it for us we we see from the NBA side what could be in it I'm sure he would explain all of that and potentially because we all know the surrounds what it's around money and you're not competing with the baseball in the summer and not football when you start your your season in late October or November so that obviously get you more eyeballs we can get you better ratings we can get you better TV deals which could mean money for everybody else so I'm sure that would be the cell because that's going to be the biggest question well yeah because this isn't the NFL where you've got to negotiate with your own health and safety in mind again the jobs a lot easier for everybody over on the NBA side that's something I always like to remind you is this isn't talk of adding the seventy seventh game where guys are asked to go out there for seventy more car wrecks over the course of that it's all we just want to move this season around yeah our off season might be flip through your calendar might be flipped or when you're doing all this but that's a lot easier sell them Hey let's go pound on your body more and were not exactly going to be an equitable split in all of this the way the NFL sometimes has to deal with so the M. B. I think it's a little easier conversation just because if one side making money every sides making money based on the way you've collectively bargain like if you're adding more money to the pot you've agreed to the way it's distributed that's the NBA PA Michele Robert's bed right there that however you figured it out by the way I'm glad you brought that up because we are living in a time why perhaps the deal you have is always the best you're going to get in light of what we're seeing right now with how the corona virus outbreak is affecting the economy and all those players saying let's wait for a year and will have a better deal I mean if those TV contracts are being negotiated now I think those numbers would look markedly different as opposed to a year from now depending on what happens what is changing I'm sure that went into some people thought process in the vote let's just get this done let's get it where we have it and then we have a known yeah we're not it's exactly right we're not gonna live with the unknown of of not even knowing when we're coming back so I wonder if some of those people that were so vehemently opposed to it seeing what's happening now thinking maybe that was a good a lock that thing up now while we have it and swing those five billion dollars are way over the next ten years but lots more coming here on goal can we go on a Thursday morning by the way happy spring today's the first day of spring wow so something positive we're always looking for something positive in our current situation so it is the beginning of spring and coming up the QB dominoes how they impacted the draft will get to someone named Mel Kiper junior neck Hey guys Michael here athletes are still athletes when they're off the.

about how they still have the upper hand in in Iraq and all sorts of reasons and you're turning the intelligence community into a propaganda machine now's the perfect guy well he's basically in a right wing communicator for want of a better description the hit man and ideologue and he's a tenure it as US ambassador to Germany was completely counterproductive the Germans found him so offensive he praised all of these right wing neo fascist leaders in Europe I didn't go down well with Argo American players trying him in a stable off the alternative for Deutschland the AFP they have sort of may announce the product so in the penny the doors closed all over Germany for him that he was totally useless as an ambassador but he's an ideologue and are you suggesting that is that the is intelligence services will if they report on Russia and Russian interference which the former head of the FBI recently testified wrote Mollen that not only of the Russians still interfering with the elections they'll do it more so in twenty twenty set the expectation is that there will be an amped up effort on the part of the Russians to help trump in the twenty twenty elections so we'll Grinnell be able to corral that intelligence so that the American public down find out how much Putin is helping reelect from absolutely there's so much this raw intelligence it is never sees the light of day it doesn't mean it's not important it's it's how you package it in analysis and if it's for Congress you know you're limited to two pages but the point is this is all very shape a ball and that's the only reason why they would have in their immediate McGuire was subservient to the present he was the president guy in there right now was subservient to the president but as time goes along he's just destroying one institution after another whether it's department of justice the FBI the CI a or the and I ate you know the jerk national intelligence in is just doing he's he's a wrecking machine a one man wrecking machine and he just doesn't care and you know various international crises any one of them could come up you know between now and November he's got to control that message and like I said Canales the guy to do what he needs is far as I'd as far as we know he believes in the just the wild this conspiracy theories any right he did in flames there the German right and we had the shooting yesterday you know it was another it's neo **** groups are very art are coming to the fore in Germany because of immigration yeah so I mean this is you know just one more step in destroying the United States government that mean trump basically said he would and that's what he's doing and is he doing in that person's behest or what what's his motive for destroying the United States I think it's just for him is everything's transactional I mean I you know if if then you know we'll be in he so impulsive Pune whispers in his ear sent look the CIA and the FBI are are filled with old cold warriors they don't know what they're doing they're making this stuff up he'll fall for it because he he someone Albert of these dictators any SNC doesn't read he certainly doesn't read raw intelligence or even care about intelligence at all it's the last person that talks to him I'm I'm not even sure you the Russians could control him but the point is so it's it's visceral you just deep inside him and he's out in in despises Washington the course despises Obama in anything to do with it is predecessors but more than that he's got to get reelected and this is an important piece to it the intelligence community and again I think of Robert man one of the most accomplished agents and say I history in the winter the career intelligence metal he's the author for New York times bestsellers including the devil we know dealing with the Iranian civil para and he's considered one of the world's foremost authorities on the Middle East and it's an intelligence and national security affairs analyst for CNN news latest book is the perfect kill twenty one loss for assassinations so the current director of national intelligence I will require who has been completely so fond of course under the law since he's acting he's out of that job on the March the twelfth so they had to put this new guy and then this is the game that trump is playing wary has acting cabinet head suit who don't have to be confirmed by the Senate so is this just doesn't want these guys going before the Senate being questioned runs and it just like they don't hold press conferences anymore he just he's going to do exactly what he wants to do in eighty and it's it's not like it's his poll numbers are going down after soon those polls are are pretty good and he's he's placing the base and the and the base hates anything to do with Washington this is a blow torch of revenge and you know the the course intelligence community is totally demoralized just like the F. B. I. now so he's pretty much with the FBI and the play on the department justice too terrified right now Ron Lee got kids in school and pensions and mortgages eccentricity what is that what's keeping them in line absolutely I mean look if if your it is the department of justice and you're gonna spend ten years there and can take a big job in a law firm you can't go with you know with a blemish on your record you won't get hired even even under tropical hers so the best thing is just to move out of sensitive jobs keep your head down so you can move on I mean this is the same way that have the same thing that happened in Germany in the early thirty it this will will get through this this this can't be real what what occurred because waves and eventually Adolf Hitler's going to go but a you know rarely do these things go that way well is the problem then in terms of avoiding the Senate Avenue confirm these people by having acting heads of these various agencies that in that you've got the bomb the defense and acting head for example so is this to do with Mitch McConnell I mean I was we didn't have much McConnell there maybe somebody that actually cared about the progress of the Congress and and I have a site might do something and Furthermore my understanding is that the money the span of appropriated for election protection to help stop the Russians from changing the election results in trump's five McConnell is holding that up it all still do anything to get elected if you look at Democrats and liberals as the enemy and all you have to do to do it you know is defeat them and that's your only mission then if if the Russians want to come along or anybody they just won't turn a blind eye to it we Washington's not fact driven anymore I mean it never was completely but it's just getting worse trump just picked up a trend and and ran with it well the judge today by the way in the sentencing of of a Roger Stanton made that point at the end of the end of her she spoke for about an hour dressing him down along with the justice department in the end she said you know the truth matters earth matters what it and doesn't matter it doesn't matter to an uneducated electric or it at an electric electric pitch so angry that it's just it's it's a blue VS the fact that's the problem I mean this is the date and in this ability to embrace conspiracy theories witcher's absolutely no basis for like a conspiracy inside the FBI the deep state it's just it's just insanity mean there's not even if there's more evidence for the grassy knoll in the Kennedy assassination and there is a and there's by the way there's none then there is a deep state you know it's just it's how we got there you know in someone's got to write a book about this explains psychologically not what happened to the American intellect how fast it went downhill but you're saying only that this new acting head of the director of national intelligence Richard canal he indulges in conspiracy theories.

"Always a pleasure to have you all you've got another great book out your multiple times bestseller your website tells the truth about what's going on when it comes to radical Islamic Jihad and because of that you get a lot of grief but I'm glad you stay for with it I like this book and and what you appear to do with that I haven't read it yet but I like the the outline that I got the Palestinian delusion the catastrophic history of the Middle East peace process now in my adult life I started watching news when I was about ten fifty three now I answered really paying attention back then since Jimmy Carter was the president and even before we've been talking about peace in the Middle East between the Palestinians and Israel we're gonna do it George W. bush was going to have a two nation solution we're gonna do it before him Bill Clinton offered ninety seven percent to Yasser Arafat he turned it down so the wonderment has to be can we have peace what are you talking about peace and maybe better yet Robert why don't we haven't yet what's the problem well I show I go through all those all of those peace process initiatives in the book and I show that all of them failed because ultimately the Palestinians don't want peace they want to destroy Israel completely the one thing that's the sticking point for them and all of these initiatives was that they would have to accept Israel in some form as a Jewish state and they can never do that because Islamic theology is based on the Koran the Koran says drive them out from where they drove you out this chapter two verse one ninety one and even though they didn't really dropped the Israelis didn't really drive the Palestinians out as a show in the book the Arab higher committee actually told the Arabs to leave that area in nineteen forty eight but nonetheless it's part of Palestinian mythology that they were driven out and thus they have an imperative they have a the obligation before a lot to drive out the Israelis and destroy Israel completely and so no peace settlement is going to override that and conversely Israel does seem to be okay with the notion that there could be a two nations a two nation solution and your right Hamas in and whomever I'm also being the actual government of Palestine what would be Palestine is very problematic but they're just not having it they literally won't be the elimination of all Jews and Israel not to exist anymore yeah that's right as a matter of fact mark with a bus who's supposed to be the moderate in this picture is compared to Hamas the the president of the Palestinian authority he has said that in a future Palestinian state not ones you will be allowed to live where is there are Muslim Arabs in Israel who live as Israeli citizens or even members of right Hey AJ it's crazy to me it is Robert Spencer get this book is called Palestinian delusion the catastrophic history of the Middle East peace process and it's the latest the greatest that he's got out it's jihad watch dot org makes you go there as well so let me ask you about the history of of Israel Palestine will would be Palestine because I know a little bit which means I can get myself in trouble I always thought that was the biblical philistine which is the area that we're talking about but when Israel when the Jews who were being killed genocide was befalling them they were actually given back the lady that was historically thousands and thousands of years historically Israel the promised land in the Bible well yeah when when those who were there were pushed out or told to leave or whatever they were really Jordanians Egyptians right where they really Palestinians that the Palestinians are an invented people they don't really exist as as the nationality and ethnicity there's never been a Palestinian nation there's never been a king of Palestine or president of Palestine it's never been a country in the region it's like Staten Island or Brooklyn its name of an area it's not the name of the nation or nationality and what happened was the it was actually Judeo the name of the proper name of what is part of part of Israel and the west bank today's Judeo where the Jews but the Romans expelled the Jews were ordered to their expulsion in the year one thirty four and they renamed at Palestine which is the name they picked out of the Bible as being the name of the ancient enemies of the Jews the bill states but it was always just the name of a region the modern Jewish state was declared independent in nineteen forty eight and it was based on land that was given to Britain after World War one by the league of nations in order to beat territory for a Jewish state so actually no other let a country has any claim on that land but Israel I am in my right when he said the Palestinians are really Egyptians and Jordanians of it if you did all your DNA on them and ancestry on them you you wouldn't get Palestine which you know there aren't any Palestinians like like I said it's a new it was the nationality was actually invented in the nineteen sixties by the KGB and Yasser Arafat to have Torkel point to beat Israel with it's all in the book the Palestinians are not ethnically culturally or religiously different or linguistically different from the Arabs of Syria Lebanon Jordan and still lesser degree Egypt so they're just the Arabs of the area they can easily go to any of those countries and become citizens of those countries except those countries will not allow them citizenship because they want to keep the refugee problem alive as a stick to beat Israel with it is other Palestinian delusion the catastrophic history of the Middle East peace process by this guy Robert Spencer again go to jihad watch dot org it's an incredible website with incredible information that you're going to really get a lot out of so as we talk about Israel and the the continued push to get them off their own land that we know historically was their land for thousands of years I can pop into my brain you may or may not have any answer why why do people keep on attacking the Jews why is it Israel that's the issue are they sitting on a bunch of oil is it because they speak Hebrew I mean what is the actual issue that they can have a little tiny parcel of land somewhere well when it comes to the Palestinians and to the Muslim Arab states it's based on the car on the Koran says drive them out from where they drove you out chapter two verse one ninety one now the I as I've said the Palestinians weren't really driven out of that land the Arab higher committee ordered them to leave in nineteen forty eight because they thought that these were going to destroy Israel quickly and then they would come back but that they wanted them to be out of harm's way in the middle of the war but they didn't come back because they lost the war now I'll drive them out from where they drove you out comes in to play at this point because it becomes a staple of Palestinian mythology they were driven out of the land and so they have a responsibility before a law to retake the letter now certainly when you expand the view to an international level then you do have eighteen anti semitism that's rooted in all kinds of things that coalesces with the Muslim Arab hatred of Israel and makes for the international alliance against Israel but you're right it's absolutely hysterical that Israel which actually has a very good human rights record is condemned frequently and routinely in the United Nations where is states that are really human rights abusers get a pass all the time as somebody who watches these things as closely as you do again go to jihad watch dot org it's Robert Spencer are you surprised at all that you've got to Muslims in in the house representatives now who are openly and coke and an overtly anti Semites I mean you've got refused to leave who who actually walked in your office put a post it note with the word Palestine over Israel which you got her office a you know that that you on Omar Everytime she turns around it's about the Benjamin she's always attacking Israel always attacking the Jews are you surprised that we have these people who were duly elected indoor Congress no I'm not surprised at all because they are the product of the mass immigration of Muslims that Barack Obama oversaw I'm not saying they came in the last eight years but in reality the districts that they come from our full of recent immigrants who all vote Democrat and all voted for them based on identity politics that they were Muslims in il Han worst case that she was obviously sharia it here and with his jab and soul right right they all hate Israel because the Koran says in chapter five verse eighty two that the Jews of the worst enemies of the muscles and the Koran is in the viciously anti semitic portrays the Jews in all sorts of ways the scheming and plotting against the Muslims so it's not the least surprising that both fly even Omar would be anti semitic it's crazy it is Robert's bed for the name of the book of the Palestinian delusion the catastrophic history of the Middle East are peace process you've got to go and get this incredible historical information and the reasons why we're not seeing piece that you have you may or may not have an opinion on this but as were watching all of this unfold in the Middle East as I I agree with you that probably will never be peace I'll unless Palestine gets at all and that's never gonna happen the Jews are gonna give up and we hopefully will continue to have a president will support Israel on Michael bomb who didn't support Israel but as people are flooding in a in as they have they have the stronghold in these different communities is there is there a way to turn that around should we turn that around you know I'm not for telling people because you're really religious beliefs have to get out of the country certainly not saying that but but why would Muslims and Jews both be voting Democrat when there's such a despairing there from Wilson to Jews why would Muslims aligned with Democrats maybe there's a better question you have the knowledge while the align themselves with LGBT Q. organizations where you know gays are being thrown off of buildings in Saudi Arabia I'm confused why these people are bedfellows what am I missing well when it comes to leftists in general and why they support Muslims when Islamic law mandates death penalty for homosexuals and so on that comes from the fact that Islamic advocacy groups in the U. S. a very skilfully portrayed any opposition to their agenda as racism and bigotry and so the people who think that they are the champions of the downtrodden and marginalized have they're playing like a fiddle and they are engaging in the same victimhood politics that the left is so easily susceptible to have a Robert all you have to do is read the hood the thin and sharia law and you learn I mean it's all right there if they're not hiding it it's there you can read it you're right but they don't they don't not only do they not read it but they don't believe people like you and me when we tell them and they are just absolutely blind to reality and it's the same thing with left as Jews voting Democrat even though the Democrats are increasingly anti semitic they have been told that this is the party of the outsider in that they have been outsiders in American society and so many other societies and they don't reflect any further than that and unfortunately now they're voting against their own interests the question might be old hat but can can those who are fundamental Muslims who are sharia compliant to follow the Koran as it's written convey coexist with the constitution no absolutely not if you are knowledgeable and sincere and sharia it here and then you're going to deny the freedom of speech you're gonna die the equality of rights of women with men you're just not equality of rights of non Muslims in general in society and so you're going to be holding to all sorts of principles and then many others I can enumerate that contradict the prince of the freedoms that we are guaranteed in the constitution it's a it's amazing to me that people fall for it because again it's all written down they've gone about Christianity read it what I know about about Judaism read it you want to learn about Islam read it it's all available it's funny because Christianity is held against Christians in this country every single day and even Judy as a result against Jews unless they say well I'm not really that fundamental but but if you try to say look I've read your books and you're a Muslim do you do you are you saying that you're a Muslim and you believe in these tenets but you're gonna ignore those I'll hear you but if you're a fundamentalist Muslims you somebody who follows it to the TV we can't get along that well if you if you're living in this country I mean there are countries where the way you want to live is available to you but when you say that I'm known Islamophobic now is in the fall now bad guy right yes absolutely this is the story of my life Joe but the reality is is that it's a very cold skillful and highly successful method of deflecting criticism is it goes like this the Koran says kill them wherever you find them the Islamic cleric say kill them wherever you find them but then of Spencer says Islamic clerics in the Koran say kill them wherever you find them that I'm a racist bigoted as long as they're buying making that charge the Islamic advocacy groups in the US and elsewhere have been able to deflect attention away from the manifest an obvious fact that.

in a future Palestinian state not ones you will be allowed to live where is there are Muslim Arabs in Israel who lives Israeli citizens or even members of right Hey it's it's crazy to me it is Robert Spencer get this book is called the Palestinian delusion the catastrophic history of the Middle East peace process and it's the latest the greatest that he's got out it's jihad watch dot org make sure you go there as well so let me ask you about the history of of Israel Palestine will would be Palestine because I know a little bit which means I can get myself in trouble I always thought that was the biblical philistine which is the area that we're talking about but when Israel when the Jews who were being killed genocide was befalling them they were actually given back the lady that was historically thousands and thousands of years historically Israel the promised land in the Bible well yeah when when those who were there were pushed out or told to leave or whatever they were really Jordanians and Egyptians right where they really Palestinians the Palestinians are an invented people they don't really exist as as the nationality and ethnicity there's never been a Palestinian nation has never been a king of Palestine or president of Palestine it's never been a country in the region it's like Staten Island or Brooklyn its name of an area it's not the name of the nation or nationality and what happened was the it was actually Judeo the name of the proper name of what is part of part of Israel and the west bank today's Judeo where the Jews but the Romans expelled the Jews were ordered to their expulsion in the year one thirty four and they renamed at Palestine which is the name they picked out of the Bible as being the name of the ancient enemies of the Jews the posting but it was always just the name of a region the modern Jewish state was declared independent in nineteen forty eight and it was based on land that was given to Britain after World War one by the league of nations in order to beat territory for a Jewish state so actually no other let a country has any claim on that land but Israel and in my right when he said the Palestinians are really Egyptians and Jordanians I mean if you did all your DNA on them and ancestry on them you you wouldn't get Palestine would you know there aren't any Palestinians like like I said it's in it that was the nationality was actually invented in the nineteen sixties by the KGB and Yasser Arafat to have Torkel point to be Israel with it's all in the book the Palestinians are not ethnically culturally or religiously different or linguistically different from the Arabs of Syria Lebanon Jordan and to a lesser degree Egypt so they're just the Arabs of the area they can easily go to any of those countries and become citizens of those countries except those countries will not allow them citizenship because they want to keep the refugee problem alive as a stick to beat Israel with it is other Palestinian delusion the catastrophic history of the Middle East peace process by this guy Robert Spencer again go to jihad watch dot org it's an incredible website with incredible information that you're going to really get a lot out of so as we talk about Israel and the the continue to push to get them off their own land that we know historically was their land for thousands of years Jim pops into my brain and you may or may not have an answer why why do people keep on attacking the Jews why is it Israel that's the issue are they sitting on a bunch of oil is it because they speak Hebrew I mean what is the actual issue that they can have a little tiny parcel of land somewhere well when it comes to the Palestinians and to the Muslim Arab states it's based on the car on the Koran says drive them out from where they drove you out chapter two verse one ninety one now the I as I've said the Palestinians weren't really driven out of that land the Arab higher committee ordered them to leave in nineteen forty eight because they thought that these were going to destroy Israel quickly and then they would come back but that they wanted them to be out of harm's way in the middle of the war but they didn't come back because they lost the war now drive them out from where they drove you out comes in it's a play at this point because it becomes a staple of Palestinian mythology they were driven out of the land and so they have a responsibility before a law to retake the letter now certainly when you expand the view to an international level then you do have eighteen anti semitism that's rooted in all kinds of things that coalesces with the Muslim Arab hatred of Israel and makes for the international alliance against Israel but you're right it's absolutely hysterical that Israel which actually has a very good human rights record is condemned frequently and routinely in the United Nations where is states that are really human rights abusers get a pass all the time as somebody who watches these things as closely as you do again go to jihad watch dot org it's Robert Spencer are you surprised at all that you've got to Muslims in in the house of representatives now who are openly and co in an overtly anti Semites I mean you've got refused to leave who who actually walked into her office put a post it note with the word Palestine over Israel when she got her office a you know that that you on Omar Everytime she turns around it's about the Benjamin she's always attacking Israel always attacking the Jews are you surprised that we have these people who were duly elected into our Congress no I'm not surprised at all because they are the product of the mass immigration of Muslims that Barack Obama oversaw I'm not saying they came in the last eight years but in reality the districts that they come from our full of recent immigrants who all vote Democrat and all voted for them based on identity politics that they were Muslims in il hot worst case that she was obviously sharia it here and with his jab and soul right right they all hate Israel because the Koran says in chapter five verse eighty two that the Jews of the worst enemies of the muscles and the Koran is in the viciously anti semitic portrays the Jews in all sorts of ways a scheming and plotting against the Muslims so it's not the least surprising that both fly even or would be anti semitic it's crazy it is Robert's bed for the name of the book is a Palestinian delusion the catastrophic history of the Middle East peace process you've got to go and get this incredible historical information and the reasons why we're not seeing piece that you have you may or may not have a a an opinion on this but as we're watching all of this unfold in the Middle East as I I agree with you that probably will never be peace I'll unless Palestine gets at all and that's never gonna happen the Jews are gonna give up and we hopefully will continue to have a president will support Israel on Michael bomb who didn't support Israel but as people are flooding in and as they have they have the stronghold in these different communities is there is there a way to turn that around should we turn that around you know I'm not for telling people because you're really religious beliefs have to get out of the country certainly not saying that but but why would Muslims and Jews both be voting Democrat when there's such a despairing there from Wilson to Jews why would Muslims aligned with Democrats maybe this is a better question you have the knowledge while the align themselves with LGBT Q. organizations where you know gays are being thrown off of buildings in Saudi Arabia I'm confused why these people are bedfellows what am I missing well when it comes to leftists in general and why they support Muslims when Islamic law mandates death penalty for homosexuals and so on that comes from the fact that Islamic advocacy groups in the US the very skilfully portrayed any opposition to their agenda as racism and bigotry and so the people who think that they are the champions of the downtrodden and marginalized have they're playing like a fiddle and they are engaging in the same victimhood politics that the left is so easily susceptible to have a Robert all you have to do is read the hood the thin and sharia law and you learn I mean it's all right there if they're not hiding "Eight eight nine four one seven two four seven often times people ask why isn't there he's the Middle East trip it's a valid question my entire life we've been talking about peace in the Middle East and it hasn't happened yet why not you don't feel like we're getting close it's got to be some reasoning behind it is one side to blame well both sides say the other side is to blame but what's the reality of it I got with Robert Spencer from jihad watch dot org to explain he's got a brand new book about this exact topic wise either P. ship between Israel and what would be Palestine Robert I appreciate how are you just great Joe how are you I'm living the dream it's always a pleasure to have you all you've got another great book out your multiple times best seller in your website tells the truth about what's going on when it comes to radical Islamic Jihad and because of that you get a lot of grief but I'm glad that you stay for with it I like this book and and what you appear to do with that I haven't read it yet but I like the the outline that I got the Palestinian delusion the catastrophic history of the Middle East peace process now in my adult life I started watching news when I was about ten fifty three now I answered really paying attention back then since Jimmy Carter was the president and even before we've been talking about peace in the Middle East between the Palestinians and Israel we're gonna do it George W. bush was going to have a two nation solution we're gonna do it before him Bill Clinton offered ninety seven percent to Yasser Arafat he turned it down so the wonderment has to be can we have peace what are you talking about peace and maybe better yet Robert why don't we haven't yet what's the problem well I show I go through all those all of those peace process initiatives in the book and I show that all of them failed because ultimately the Palestinians don't want peace they want to destroy Israel completely the one thing that's the sticking point for them and all of these initiatives was that they would have to accept Israel in some form as a Jewish state and they can never do that because Islamic theology is based on the Koran the Koran says drive them out from where they drove you out this chapter two verse one ninety one and even though they didn't really dropped the Israelis didn't really drive the Palestinians out as a show in the book the Arab higher committee actually told the Arabs to leave that area in nineteen forty eight but nonetheless it's part of Palestinian mythology that they were driven out and thus they have an imperative they have the obligation before a law to drive out the Israelis and destroy Israel completely and so no peace settlement is going to override that and conversely Israel does seem to be okay with the notion that there could be a two nations a two nation solution and your right Hamas in and whomever I'm also being the actual government of Palestine what would be Palestine is very
