"Dot com coming up next segment a conversation with a wide receiver with the Carolina Panthers Robby Anderson yeah I did but the format open once already this week I would do it again for the right call Robby Anderson is next segment coming up next hour another amazing story a conversation with a draft pick for the New York Mets Eric or is he that's coming up at ten twenty Pacific time top of our number three Dan wakey a national NBA writer for the LA times and I've got some NBA they don't want it momentarily hit me up one eight hundred six three six eight six eight six my podcast episode for the week number one thirty four is live right now Daniel Cormier a came in for that I want to reset it DCS something else one of the all time great great people not only what the basketball there men's sports one of the best people I know Daniel Cormier a and we'll have that for a little bit later on where y'all at we wanna do with it one eight hundred six three six eight six eight six are there any R. S. VP's we'd not heard yet I know one Vic in no cal the guy most famous for the smack off R. S. V. P. I'm not sure whether or not that's coming will lay out we'll wait and see also there is a major piece on the jungle it's on the front page of the big lead right now Kyle Koster wrote and if you want to read it you go right ahead I retweeted it and we'll get into that a little bit later on too all right all that said stocks may be a start somehow the tie re Irving drama has jumped yet another day and it's widening it's no longer about chi re shifting from asking about saunas and drinks allegedly suddenly talking about not restarting this season and somewhere along the way starting a new league of his own it's more than all of that because Kendrick Perkins has entered the arena and the big fella is not having it with Kyree so you can put park firmly in the camp that believes the chi ri is being disingenuous when it comes to being a force for positive social change earlier in the week park went in and said this the ESPN radio this was the same guy about ten days ago there came out and say it there he wanted to join the team and be in Orlando around between because the agreement was with that and active players could go because it was only a certain amount of people they could be in the bowl now what changed over the last ninety days would change the world for what I strongly believe in what I heard is that the NBA and the Players Association so because I really didn't know you can go how can a guy Myers did change in ten days George Lowe was murdered on the twenty fifth of may they started a protest in the next day based on the ride the next Tuesday I remind us that just ten days ago was he wants to go to wood St students there would change the world with there they told him he couldn't go credit yes pan radio so Perkins is saying it's not so much about his social consciousness it's not the fact that he want to go to Orlando and they told him Kyree that he couldn't go to Orlando and that's why he changed that's what park had to say earlier in the week and he has not let up he went on ESPN and then he dropped this is well if you think re over brain they put it in the bird right now guess what the birds go do is go flop out because Calgary right now he's confused he's showing his lack of leadership it is concrete you have been all these conference calls over the last two months you're the vice president of the Players Association you have been very involved in all of this is that there has been taken place full as well that now we're going to play a night and you have been on the phone you have voting took place so he was just getting started he also made time to call the prime James quote the most athletic player in NBA history and quote only for bill Russell himself to come from the rafters and dunk on him by reminding park did Russell was not just an NBA legend he also conveyed US Olympic team as a high jumper that's fine that's well and good that's true but park camp right on rolling and then he went back to go after chi re on Twitter quote excuse my let my last tweet but I really took it light on Tiree today because I really could expose the cupcake B. S. that is really doing behind those phone conversations carry on yeah I'm not sure exactly what that means I'm not sure what he's getting at there but this is spilled over from a former player turned media member talking about labor negotiations into something that it's gotten really personal deeply personal and now a nother challenger is sprinting into the ring there's a third man in now as you might imagine that their man is Kevin Durant KT re tweeted a tweet clowning Parkins complete with Perkins firing an air ball is a member of the thunder don't rant went on Instagram and called Perkins a quote sellout end quote so there's your third man in the course that weird relationship between to rant and Perkins is nothing new that's a dynamic it's truly straight to figure out former teammates turned to Twitter enemies so this thing's gotten really personal in a really ugly and right now I don't see any signs of it stopping or these guys leading up like I doubt Perkins is going to ease up you know Kyree is not gonna stop being chi re anytime soon now to be very clear about this deal there is a really important discussion to be had here about this moment in this country the moment the countries currently in and the opportunity for real lasting change and what role NBA players can happen that change there is a serious discussion in that just as there is a serious debate as to whether or not the role is better with games being played or the games being played distracts from this moment there's a serious debate in that that's a legitimate conversation so there's something to what chi re and others are saying but the fact the chi re is involved and doing tie re things tends to muddy the waters it feels like to debate it shifted from the issues that the players who have questions about restarting wanted to discuss and instead now it's being focused on chi read in chi re being weird hi res motivation because the fact is Kerry is weird because that's what always happens when kai resembled something and there is a nother tricky part in this hi ri isn't just some guy in the league throwing out ideas and takes on when and how the league returns he's not just another guy and he's not just another star player he's a vice president in the Players Association so when you're a leader in the Players Association there is an expectation cation this will be a leader and a disagreement you have with the PA will be kept in the house and not taking public in such a broad manner it's not that he has to completely agree with everything the Players Association does but when you're a V. P. of the Players Association if you're a member of the executive committee you don't freelance you don't go rogue you don't vote with the association on a phone call and then come out a few days later with a totally different plan again this is not just some famous member of the rank and file doing it it is a vice president in the Players Association and it's causing chaos then again.

"After dark judges Jansky right here on a fat eight seven seven thirty thirty seven sixty six sixty six and may very surprised to hear and I saw a boomer mention this on the morning show I saw on Twitter when I woke up the idea Robby Anderson took a less money potentially in a prove it type scenario to go and play for the Carolina Panthers in his former head coach in that role as opposed to sticking around with the new York jets I for one found out a little bit surprising I would figure Robby Anderson the comfort level being here is in New York jets Robby Anderson again I was a reporter with Sam Darnold will look to have stuck around but very very interesting that he will be going elsewhere now in the jets got some work to do as far as pivoting to how to make the score around Sam Darnold I have been a lot better and I was going through some of the rosters and you look at the roster the knowing the patriots Anna and I get it they have the greatest NFL head coach I have seen in my years of watching the game bill Belichick is by far away the best they could have ever seen and I don't think it's close book it's been depleted it was a flawed roster last year no Tom Brady no Calvin alloy they lose their center there was a couple other pieces along the way no one was going to be very vulnerable next year I'm telling you right now I will not be picking the way going to make the postseason now I may have egg on my face I don't believe for a minute they're gonna like tank via I just do not think they're a playoff team a talent that is on a team is not worthy of ten eleven once and I think the odds makers will have buffaloes a favor but the opportunity is there for the jets and the Miami Dolphins if they make the right moves if they build a franchise the right way that they can have that sort of upward trajectory and they're gonna have legitimate hopes of going make noise in the AFC east dolphins already looking to make them both now they was so far in the salary cap I know a lot of people like to get on teams that spend stupid money as they said the office will like a hundred million dollars under the salary cap and they had holes to fill they did a good job still got some more to do they still got to figure out what their long term plan quarterback is going to be but they're a team that is on the move their team that is on the rise the jets it's going to depend on how Joe Douglas builds the offense applied and how Joe Douglas gets pieces all round this young quarterback it's not gonna happen here but he's laying the groundwork we've seen the job that's been done on the offensive line has been good solid is another piece coming in the first round of the draft or is that pretty soon after his round one to be a high flying top notch wide receiver that will be the dilemma that will be the question for the jets as they move closer and closer to draft day do you go with a wide receiver do you go with an offensive tackle as you sit there with that first pick I lean towards taking a tackle and I'm getting too wide receivers in the second at the rounded good news for the jets not one but two third round picks you do wonder there was a play for Trent Williams changed things for me would you bring in Trent Williams you put about offense of tackle I think taking a wide receiver becomes that much more of a most now the jets going to be able to strike a deal with the Washington Redskins what the wait six the trouble is on his team despite his age makes sense because he's cornerstone franchise left tackle I'd rather give him for a second round the next year because I need to fix this year I knew Joe Douglas go to work perfect world you get trouble is right around back I would do that a harpy said Sussex county eighty up next on the phallus up any Hey morning Jerry Jerry it's a pleasure to talk with you well IT the pleasure is all mine can you turn that radio down please I'm sorry I'm driving into work J. taking driving safely so we got four may two heartbreaking losses I'm a Die Hard cowboys fan my first one was simple ball five Roger stormed back to Jackie Smith in the end zone wide open and the second one I'm not sure what happened then ET or Evey why and catch the catalyst why Clark of course is flat right from the cowboys standpoint all of the success and all the championships you've seen it say all this you know there's no way team like that could have been a losses but you mention Jackie Smith you mentioned why Clark days Brian a couple years ago I mean that Tony Romo game when you will play in Seattle where he botches the fury the catch I mean the cowboys offense for that you would put on an all time list that would rank pretty highly I mean those of four brutal brutal games right would bear where the song was on the white Laureen third of course the field goal of the tab but the bottom line was Jackie Smith was you know and actually of receiver with the back computers and when he went to the cowboys and I believe wait the cold I'm not sure in Super Bowl fly by JJ he was wide open touchdown wherein but we lost Eddie that's the beauty of this exercise my front I hope that was therapeutic boy now you've seen what five super bowls in your life he said during a nineteen nineties privacy my team in a Superbowl cell they say in that regard I'm not gonna feel too sorry for I'm really not hello we appreciate the call it's like why belly ache about Yankee terrible losses and they're a bunch one of my family since that they don't really take it I want to hear it because if you're a Mets fan of my age group in my demographic we don't remember eighty six and you sure as all remember nineteen sixty nine sell you wanna hear me belly aching about two thousand one or nineteen ninety five when your team as a one so I totally get it sent to New Jersey rob up next the joins us on a fat without Robbie very very great show I appreciate that rob with that in mind I got a great yogis story thank god before was talking about you the R. I have two of baseball but you'll get a kick out of it I would say it was probably like I don't know like four years ago all right word we lane street construction programs but we also construct you know we're all right so far the market is very cold very very loose and I need to call I mean American programs job we're doing the job in Moscow where it's like you know you there by like five thirty six Michael okay so I'm out this is years ago amaan the truck I'm actually on the truck so you we were in the driveway and we're right next door to your house so how did you see we know he's a Montclair guy but how did you know rob thank you all right if you get like insider info some Intel like how did you find that out for more members to the U. where you'll live everybody who were killed always cottage the two should I gotcha okay so well we we get started right so it's what you have spoke to light GBM your role you know he'll stop by your house make your voice he wants to start or so I borrowed him out first you get lower right back you know thank travel records the birch pollen on the machines virtual console right here are you over it I start going out or coming down the driveway I'm coming down the driveway I cheated swimming garbage feel at the end of the driveway it will slippers from white crap search thank you there are so I forgot all the locks are you rolling your I'm like you'll come up your your case where you all micro Rick three your your your your he goes what should the watershed in order to portray the role for you come through you guys thought regular order began work this all morning I'll take that okay or because she remembered your are you sure that is that is absolutely tremendous so you can use them as you try to do a job that's fantastic but at that time yeah okay more so now twenty years ago all right so maybe I don't know for five years later I go to Christmas dinner at my brother-in-law's house and every pitch dark my bro my my nephew has his friends over at the house and so it goes very own Karabo wants you to be Larry Larry Burke and I'm like wiry hair you go to your your grades are I couldn't believe you got all right I mean it's like you're in that's why the your family's forever intertwined we okay now did you tell his grandson about the store all yeah I told readers out such Bapat ecos but what you're doing it was the only it's very ever problem leave a man it's like the equivalent I appreciate the call of you're doing a job and in a much different probably tone and demeanor persona baginya doing that job and Tony soprano comes out in the bathroom thank you guys you know in the Tony voice and I'm thinking about re watching the sopranos I'm really thinking about it the problem is I got those are coming back on Friday sell I'm all fired up about Ozark Ozark is great absolutely great Bateman and I can't believe I'm saying this developing Jason Bateman fan I think he's very good actor him playing a serious role I think for a lot of us is kind of like you know there's no way in the world is gonna work you'll have her show to watch Ozark binge it and any other one I made two when I watch the episode last night little fires which is on a rule and I don't even know I had a rule Kate subscribe so it's a great more power to us I mean a lot of channels even though I had until you know the last few weeks but we watch a little fires Reese Witherspoon Kerry Washington really really good and that's like only four episodes and stuff you look for some TV habit help yeah said to Stanford Pete he joins us on a phallus upbeat J. J. what's up what about the show we're not appreciate that P. which again there are no good or try to call them on one of those heartbreaking losses you guys are in a mall pretty much what my Yankees Knicks and Rangers but I got one that'll make you feel good about fifty one to ninety three ninety four season Martel waters were planning your doctor about that he's given his game very very well people tell them about the legal at game all my god yeah and the week before that I was on the floor to talk and have you crossed my brother who's off the stand and karma came back with me Giada de think about that is got to be one of the wildest finishes to a game that you're ever going to see and it's funny you mention that because the NFL throwbacks page on Instagram posted the highlight of that right around thanksgiving when they were thrown up all sorts of throwbacks to maybe was the dolphins page still and it's so real and I know bloomer was talking about this yesterday it's amazing I find out about what happens on the morning show via Twitter Instagram or what not we'll pull was telling a story about a run in with OJ and how they use the picture of rumored OJ the trial years later you know Pete OJ was the sideline reporter for that dolphins cowboys game very popular to everybody loves it's crazy to think about and that is something I watch TV yesterday I was going through the J. R. thirty for thirty which have seen already but that the story and everything that comes with it is so fascinating to me I had a chance to watch it again I was like you know I'm gonna watch an extra twenty thirty minutes but you tell boys at the end of the day Pete to get the last laugh that yet they did go on to win a Super Bowl yeah more than other deterrents the year and if I'm not mistaken it often didn't win a game for the rest of the year so in the end but that one day I mean if you want to talk about what's gonna feel golden jump up and down and all crazy then it's been you know your line at the beginning of the one for me closer so but that's another one that I heard but J. did you stay safe great to talk to you know work Peter preset Imad al love when we can like inter twine is into sports moment that brought you a whole lot of pain but for somebody like me would have brought me a whole lot of euphoria Miller put a big fat smile on the face I don't remember that game vividly I was still a little too young to remember the intricate details of thanksgiving ninety three some big spike ninety four is like ingrained in my mind that's like one of my first real memories of watching football and that's another one Jeff and that's maybe not that high on the list because the jets of kind of made to order of losing the excruciating heartbreaking game but that one for me Seoul at St Pete big tapping a beauty four.

"I woke up this morning to this drave Anderson former cy in jets free agent signing drama. And I see this order goal at the Post writes that links to win S. N. Y DOT TV article saying that Robbie Anderson tweeted this. But there's no screen shot and then when I go to robby Anderson's verified twitter account. I don't see the tweet. So did he tweet. This and elitist city not tweeted. I don't know I mean the whole thing could be fake news. Good morning boomer. How are you sounds like somebody wanted to say something? There was a url es Tom Izzo sent me the screen. Grab the tweets all. Shoot it over to you guys. So he did and he did end up deleting it but he deleted it. I wonder why. The plot thickens. Boomer how are you? I'm doing great and I don't really. It doesn't matter to me. I have a great source. My sources always accurate. I'm I'm not backing off. Anything I said the one thing I did say yesterday that still remains in my is very true is that Ravi decided to go play for his old temple coach and rule. Matt rule and they have that new offense coordinator down their job of Joel Berry and he is cited to your deal to bet on himself to get back to free agency in two years. It was It's I wouldn't say gutsy move but I think it's a great move. I think it's a very confident move by Robbie Anderson now whether or not you know he. He decided to do it that way. As opposed to staying with the jets for four years. You know that that's his decision you know and I give them a lot of credit for making a decision but I know what I know. I know what I was told and You know it doesn't really matter in the big picture of everything he's GonNa make twenty million over the next two years at has a big year next year with bridgewater. Who knows you might be right back at the table next time on next year at this time anyway extending his contract so he made a business decision as you say and Hopefully it will work out for him. But I know what I know and I'm just telling you what I was told and I still stand by it so I'm looking at this tweet now and W. F. N. Z. Linked to article I guess or took the information from the article at Wfan Dot Com when your audio went out there and we posted it and he tweeted that before he deleted it. And it's false news. Y'All need a false newt. News there's no commas or anything so I gotTA figure out exactly what transit false news. Y'All need to do better jobs reporting and put now fake news to People T. O. P. I was fake. News said Fake News Sad. But then he ended up deleting it because I'm going through all of his tweets and his verified twitter account which I had followed already and and and it has gone so whatever reason he decided to delete that but it is a little bit strange to me and curious that he's going to put that out there and then and end up deleting it but he he went fake news said then he backtracked on that so. I know that you are a guy who's not going to go on the air and just throw stuff like that out Willy Nilly so I one hundred percent side with you your sources and this and then be interesting fake news all of us to death. I don't break right exactly so I'm not I'm not worried about it doesn't really matter count so I I know exactly. You know what I'm talking about what I'm saying and I know who I talked to and I know exactly where I get my information from so maybe somebody else out. There has different information. I'll just stick as they say in the business. I'll just stick with my sources and not get worried about it and not anybody about it or any of that stuff. Yeah I mean you put it out there. You're confident in doing that. Because you knew you were right about it. And that's that these guys can fight back and say whatever they want but Yeah I mean if Ravi Anderson would have left it up there would have been a different story and then you know you sit there and we could go back and forth with the fact that he deleted. I mean there's only one reason to delete that and that's because he didn't feel confident with leaving that out there so whatever he is now gone. He's down there getting Carolina's not going to be with the jets any longer and he decided to take this part of his career to go down and play with his old coach. Temple and bet on himself thing and all of that. That's fine. That's that's great and you know the jet. Some sure wanted to keep him at a certain price in certain years and they threw something out there and he decided not to do that. So right I we`ll. We'll see how the jets respond to. This is something we talked about. Yesterday I shot Perelman. Of course animals see what they end up doing in the draft. Yeah I just the you know. The whole thing is ridiculous. You know in in the big picture void. Everybody's dealing with right now. I don't necessarily know that I cared even argue with anybody. It is what it is and The jets will sign somebody in the draft. Our draft A wide receiver. There's no question about that. And they'll continue to move forward. They made their best effort He chose another way and that's his right to do that. He's lucky enough to get the free agency. This is his second contract and he obviously wants to get back to a third contract kind of envisioning having a big year down there in Carolina with Teddy Bridgewater Joe Brady and Matt Role. So good for him. Yes so does it feel like this was supposed to be opening day for you because it doesn't feel like it was supposed to be opening day for me. I I honestly we've been out of work out of the building on out of work. I should say that we've been out of the building for over a week now and it feels like about two months that we have not been back at our building and I really had totally forgotten about when baseball was supposed to start on what day it was all these things that I was already planning and we had guests. It's exciting guests that were coming into the studio. That of course cancelled it after do with baseball that hopefully at some point we'll be able to talk to all these things that we had you'll lined up for opening day in baseball but it's just a totally different world. I mean sports is of course on my mind because it's always on my mind since I was a kid but at the same time I have not the whole calendar of well. This was supposed to be this and this was supposed to be that even back to win the tournament was supposed to start. I just I can't think in those terms right now. It's hard to wrap my mind around the fact that there was supposed to be baseball player today. Right Right Right. Yeah you know. It's it's hard to believe that and things are going by lightning speed In our society decisions are being made. Things are changing People are changing. You know there are new reports out there that Some something this is going to go on to September now that over eighty percent of the people population of the five boroughs of New York City. You'RE GONNA come down with Corona virus. I mean there's all sorts of information out there and everybody's trying to put out accurate information. Everybody's trying to get everybody ready for now. What we are in the middle of this Corona Virus Storm? And I'm telling you I didn't even think about This this whole opening day think today until yesterday when I was looking at sports minutes and stuff to put together and then I damn tomorrow's supposed to be opening day so It it caught me yesterday a little bit but I don't know I'm just you know the sport now that I'm watching is just a sport of politics. It's a politician after politician after politician. Either Sniping at each other or given different levels of information and their own opinions about different things I want. They say about Governor Cuomo's when he says he's giving his opinion he's making sure that it has nothing to do with the facts I it's just his opinion and how he is reacting to the facts and how families react into the facts which I think is somewhat comforting to To New Yorkers but I just I can't even think about any of this stuff. That's why when I saw the Robby Andersen stuff this morning. I was like I. I don't really care I you know I I got my information. I know what it is and I'm not fight with anybody. Does it really matter in the big picture of everything else? We gotta get through this man. We got up. We gotTA keep fighting deserves people on the on the ground. That are exhausted right now. The first responders are exhausted. And it's just The sport the whole sports things just seemed so far away from me right now given everything that we're all going through. Yeah I would agree in the fact that we don't have a start date or an idea when all of this is going to end is another reason why it's hard to wrap my mind around it because the further I look down the road and into the future the more confusing and gets for me. Because I just can't think about me. I hear all these plans and a Rod Manfred was on with Scott Van Pelt last night and they were talking about certain issues and they hope that they could start a double header thing that we had talked about those things and I know that they have to do that. Because they've got to have all sorts of contingency plans in place but for me. It's just impossible to think about it really is I mean. Even with the Noah Syndergaard News. You know as much as that was a blow to the mets was just really hard to process. Because I don't know when the season's GonNa Start I have I have no idea so I remain. I try to be every day optimistic. That the measures that we are taking right now will eventually will eventually see the benefits of that because that's been proven in other places but right now we're not at that point and we're seeing numbers go up and up and up and we're seeing some of these stories at hospitals in these things that are not good and now we have to ride through that and hopefully make it through it sooner than later but it's just it it you're right it's hard. It's hard to to to get really really worked up about these sports stories. It's definitely still affects me because it's been ingrained in me for many years but it sort just bounces off and then I'm back into this weird reality that we're living you know. There's probably a handful of other places on the globe where there is such density of people living on top of each other Sharing whatever may be whether it be public transportation or you know Eateries of restaurants and and stadiums and things of that nature and we are very social group of people in the fact that that we are practicing this social distance thing this isolation thing is just so amazing to me that ninety eight percent of the people are actually doing what they're supposed to be doing. The other two percent are all going to work trying to support the efforts of out there. That would actually be sick in want to infect other people because we know that especially in a place like where we live in where we work. There's so many people when there's so many people there are so many crazy people to that. Someone would wanna go and do that. That's something across my mind. I don't know if this guy was sick. Doesn't sound like this person was sick in this wagmans. That was doing this. It was just a as you put it aptly jerk off. Move by that person but yeah I mean. There's there's going to be a lot of morons out there continuing to act like morons. Because that's all they are now. I try to remember all the people that are helping and there are good news out there and you see some of these retired medical workers that are coming out to help people from other states. That are coming to New York to help right now. And those are the things that I'm encouraged by the money. That's getting donated. A to corona virus effort released like those are the things that I'm trying to focus on it. Yesterday I was also encouraged by the fact that I heard both Cuomo and trump talk about how they had good conversations and they both had good things to say about one another and also the fact that the stimulus bill finally went through in these things that we were talking about. Yesterday it seemed to resolve a little bit and knows the Times that I start to be more positive about it. I know that the facts are telling a grim story but in order for me to get through this day to day I gotta find and Cherry pick these little things that are positive in the Sea of negatives and say all right. You know we're going to. We're taking a step forward because of this taking another baby. Step forward because of that. I think we've got a couple of those things yesterday and we got a lot of bad news yesterday's well don't get me wrong but we got a couple of these things. Yesterday that made me a little more encouraged. Well you know the thing about it is..

"Driveway right doing PD class with my daughter playing the guitar I thought it sounded good I want to know what everyone no one's expecting born to run the ones expected yeah right I have in the office it'll be it'll be some good good music and and John at twelve thirty also twelve forty five rate denture we started to show they talk a lot about the eagles in the fact it with Robby Anderson impairment going off the board yesterday both signing with you know changing clubs and receivers you know one gets ten million one gets a million will be aimed at Anderson's case it was two years twenty million to ten per year well I'm pretty pretty crazy have to but I guess that's a big the going rate well it's it's also that Nelson Agholor ten million last last year they made a mistake you don't make that mistake again I mean I I'll just see what I do you know sort of the beginning reiterate I appreciate how he's methodology so far I know a lot of people probably find it annoying that ignoring the position of greatest need I like that methodology to address common job that helps you lose stress coming you told us you were giving Carson the weapons he needs to be the mail the world beater we expect them to be and you didn't do it four words the all season you want over not over okay it's not over but when it started you walked away from the table of the biggest blockbuster deal that could have been done for de Andre Hopkins you said it was too much to spend for a guy who's twenty seven years old and in my book the best wide receiver in the league it's it's been between him and a couple other guys but this is he's a beautiful receives a great Larry Wilson made an all timer is all favor and we decided we didn't want to spend we do want to spend for a at a top flight receiver telling you don't have to wait him like a top plate guy you have to Hey the best receiver in the NFL like he's the best receiver and you won't be paying on that way for long someone will pass him soon but I find it foolish but completely foolhardy and totally against the the outline for success that you put out there for us part of the plan was to give Carson all up more than what he had down the stretch last year down the stretch last year was a fiasco it was you're throwing to nobody yeah and you said it was going to be different well if I'm Carson Wentz I'm ticked she is not sorry I meant and the Hopkins thing there's there's there's no good Intel that says you know having the highest paid wide receiver football is it is a good plan in a salary cap world to win a Super Bowl I mean when you say they didn't want to spend your you're not seeing the right phrase John the right phrase is how he wants to put his resources elsewhere doesn't mean he's not going to have improved wide receivers he will he will have better wide receivers and they had last year I believe that but they want to put their resources whether it's draft capital or whether it's a cap in a salary cap world they want to put to they want to spread it around that's how you get Darius slay I appreciate that I appreciate there is slated to and it was a bigger area of need corner was a bigger area of need wide receiver contrary to what about seventy percent of people were telling us that pulls people are wrong how we knew they were wrong how do you how is priority in free agency was going to go on a lot like whatever how he does and says bye and John I said I'm not why I'm refusing to do that but before I made a mistake you got women before they make up for that mistake can go get somebody that you can depend on at wide receiver you've now put every egg you have in this draft a basket where you have to trade up to get one of the best three receivers in this draft because they are truly as a class above the rest the top three guys yeah your CD lamb Jerry Judy and Henry route you got to get one of them and it's probably gonna be rugs you're gonna have to trade up and sacrifice draft picks to do so in your might not get that done so then what will you admit failure if we don't get one of those receivers Joe if he doesn't get one of those receivers end and I think you will get someone they do you feel good about it it's not that easy it's not this magical thing where you can say Hey you know what I really want I want to trade up and get my guide like there are thirty one other teams that might have him tabbed is that their guy and they're gonna do whatever it takes to get him to which on your also hell bent on this idea you got to have all yeah I did you will find the money to get de Andre Hopkins can easily win this honestly usually you can win the Superbowl having the seventeenth best water Sebring sport happen right all the time right also you can including when he also served again and have a daughter to give Carson the best chance to be the elite player he's supposed to be if you give him yeah how to have a great or it's a lot of them Henry road in Henry Ruggs pans out that's another thing what if these top three guys don't end up being good pro player then you got to see it a lot when you have a problem if you have little to go to the phones two one five five nine two ninety four ninety four John song coming up in short order let's go to Andy and deford what's up Andy yeah what's up those sort of how I felt was good John hi as far as the addendum caller had earlier about BT hammer pop culture edition what about if you had a beat the hamburger torment of champions edition so you had all the callers that beat the hammer along with Joe and I will find out who's the real ham it's a it's a reasonable thing to consider I don't think there's been enough of them yet to do that Andy the only couple you guys out there that would you have you have what including yourself would be what a five man tournament so you give some somebody that buys more now I think there's thirteen people they'd be like I think three people beat me twice act three people being you twice there be thirteen L. B. thirteen so let it be one person has a bye you got a twelve man tournament let's get it manages all sounds like I'm out of town yeah I mean maybe there's like a lot and it's not unreasonable to appoint me jeopardy started doing that stuff after they're like twenty years in the box but I mean we got a lot of time on our hands well we had ours to how the situation goes I look at what what Bobby Anderson got what Pierre main guy you could have got both of them for what you paid JB on Hargrave is hardly a good player yeah but hardly isn't even the biggest need on the D. line let alone the defense yeah I agree you had to start with the money you spent on him what they give him like thirty million player but I mean the reaction you got tugs were more and need of a pass rushing de end yes end up third D. tackle right you could you could a lump that money into gladiators in here man and then at the draft we don't have to get a wide receiver right now we have to get a while there's no doubt they have to get somebody get to guys they would about to be in yeah they gonna get what we had to get a DN we ended up with what's my my guys Louisville market markets what what was his name market's largest Maffia use an outside line so when you go in the draft as a need for a certain position again I get it I get to concern anyone up for failure when he got here for the best of us something something Villalba could you repeat your your lease but other teams won't when they know where it's at you need at that position that's what this concerns me like this clan at house clinic gather it doesn't look like much of a plant it's also the keystone crap on the wall and hoping it sticks as well I feel you're you've got a lot of confidence in him to go for what reason I don't know but you did the agent's own guns something in something when he got any about something or something I think a lot of people in the millions are going to be utilized in this a lot more than they regularly would and I hope you get on it too but you would need a girl too so I don't know who to call for you what about that Netflix and chill good answer was that Netflix and what show getting me I don't know what chills what how are you sell out on popular what does that mean Netflix it was a thing Netflix and chill they meaning just to relax like get Netflix and relax is that it is I'm just saying I don't I don't have a show that's why I'm asking so the idea is if you have Netflix and you can just kill did you get Netflix yesterday not but I'll start man answered why I stopped and I to finish their hunters it's it's thirty seven hour movie I mean I finished your honor then I did some positive today took a huge not yes that's what threw me off and then it was up to me that it was a team that I was also for a and a child it was awful it was up to four I am very unhappy very unhappy what don't take a huge bite out today I gotta fight it off I got a yeah well I guess like well I have my stay awake until bedtime we have yet to coach you up you're not touch your face and did not take you know we have we've got to take the picture I know what it will do that coming up H. I. let's get to John sausage on before you let me play this year please tell us the setting of the all right well I'm hoping that we can do more with art in our show some creativity we got some you know we get some opportunity to exchange artistic feelings and express we have a higher we have time yeah yeah so yesterday I was doing gym class with my daughter in the drive way and I had my acoustic guitar with me and I've been reading up some lyrics and chord progression just sort of clicked in and recorded it on my phone quickly while I'll yesterday they do not thought of the song before it well I mean I had I had been reading up some later previously but then just never went anywhere with that and this was I I put my phone on my leg propped on my leg while I was playing this song the phone fell off my leg ground go here my daughter came over and picked up the phone for it with the F. for me inside like singing along to what I was saying it was kind of a cute moment and we just put the you know put this together it's just the verse and the chorus but hopefully you'll like it hopefully you send in some stuff write some songs and I would you know probably I I think part of the plan is we're going to do some songs and put him out there in the future good I like it because the show let's hear the debut area is that not yet world number one but he's got a shot now let's hear this is us is a good step here's John Richie yesterday in his driveway so.

"The same day that the Carolina Panthers moved on from cam Newton they added a player receiver Robby Anderson there was a thought that no one was gonna touch Robby Anderson until they had a chance to bring him in and talk to him because he's had some off field issues well his college head coach Matt rule not bashful about getting the deal done two years twenty million dollars Robby Anderson joins the depth chart in Carolina same day cam Newton leaves and the jets react to the departure Robby Anderson by doing a one year deal with per shot Perriman the former Buccaneers receiver once upon a time a first round pick of the ravens who was a major disappointment remember last year he was going to land and I think it was re sign in Cleveland I can't memory was in twenty eighteen but he was ready to sign a deal with the Browns before they traded for a Beckham junior actually had agreement in principle and the Browns I had no qualms about letting him back out of it so that he could sign with the Buccaneers any wasn't bad last year with the Buccaneers but now that the jets have a need the jets pounce on Perriman he gets a higher spot on the depth chart most likely and the jets move forward about Robby Anderson I wonder how concerned the jets were about losing Anderson to the Panthers given that Matt role the coach of the Panthers didn't need to sit down and delve into the nooks and crannies of Robby Anderson's character since he had that knowledge of it that was an advantage that no other team had because no one could bring him in no one can get up to speed and it looked for awhile like Anderson was going to stay put with the New York Jets another receiver on the move Philip door set I remember when he was a first round pick of the colts and all of the receivers an Indianapolis and allowed the colts fans like what the hell what are you doing Ryan Gregson we're already covered at the position he was traded to the patriots for Jacoby percent a couple of years ago the state in New England last year on a one year deal but now he becomes the latest patriot to leave a lot of patriots have left we we focus on Tom Brady but Kyle van Noy to Miami Ted Karras to Miami Jamie Collins to Detroit Phil door set as mentioned the Seattle they cut Stephen Gostkowski I'm sure there's more than I'm not even thinking of here I found a free agency tracker let's be complete here let's give you a full picture on everyone the patriots have lost they did use the franchise tag on Joe Thuney and they re signed Devin McCourty which is good news for them but a lot of these guys are gone Kyle van Noy as mentioned gone Jamie Collins gone Danny Shelton gone island he signed with the patriots Brian Hoyer he signed with the patriots Duron Harmon was traded alliance a lot of guys on the way out Ellen don Roberts that's the guy that I wasn't thinking of he's the guy that played some fullback last year Nate Abner one of bill Belichick's favorites he signed with the giants Joe judge C. you've got Joe judge with the giants you've got Matt Patricia with the lions you got Brian Flores with the dolphins you've got John Robinson Imad rebel with the Titans there's a lot of outposts of the patriot way now where there are people who have relationships with these players and they are luring them away so the latest even though there's no connection no direct connection with the head coach like there is with the lions and the dolphins and.

"I don't know what's in the guard this year and by the way it's not necessarily elective surgery it does actually fit the guidelines for necessary surgery for him down in Florida especially not here or may it may be different if you were up here but he's going to an outpatient clinic for HSS down in Florida that clinic is not you know they don't have any coronavirus cases there anything it says specifically an orthopedic clinic so he's going to get it done tomorrow my question would be if he was complaining about this before spring training why are they doing it now why didn't they do it a month ago right yeah I know well one of those things I I thought about it says that's one thing now as far as Robby Anderson is concerned I understand it the you know I would I've been told that the jets offered a four year forty million dollar contract which I think would have been you know more than fair for both sides Robbie wanted to take a less years and wanted to bet on himself and obviously want to go play for a coach that he knows because the coach obviously down in Carolina was his coach at temple and he feels comfortable with that offense that they're put building around Joe Brady their offense coordinator down there so you know Robbie decided to leave and and essentially bet on himself because he wants to be back at the free agent table in two years and I don't blame him I really don't and I think the I think the jets made a fair offer for him they wanted him for years forty million he ended up said taken two years of twenty million and again that this is the player basically betting on himself I believe I don't know if the jets would have offered him mmhm the two year deal that I don't know but I do know that according to my sources that there was a four year forty million dollar deal on the table for Robby Anderson yeah and if they replace Robby Anderson with per shot paramount right away and a one year deal one of these many one year deals that the jets are handing out which I do like a lot with the flexibility in the unknowns and everything that's going on right now with the NFL and other sports now remember Prashanth Perriman for anybody who played their fantasy football last year and it was a lot of people who did I mean this is one of those guys at the end of the year jumped on everybody's radar why because Evans and Godwin courthouse yeah he was getting all the opportunities and three straight weeks he had a hundred yard receiving games against the lines of Texans in the falcons and the guy was was insane I mean one of those games against alliance six catches on for thirteen yards and three touchdowns the one against the the the the falcons he had a hundred and thirty four yards and a touchdown so this is a guy that I like hi he's really really fast he's someone that was given an opportunity last year's whole career as a whole has been disappointing I don't focusing on three games for a for a positive but I just love the fact that you know in an offense we were trying to get the ball down the field in a very aggressive offense of Bruce Arians when he was given those opportunities he produced at a very very high level so but to me the thing that I wanted to hear from you this morning is Sam Darnold in all of this now you know Robby Anderson he's he's had you know good things in his past as a jet bad things in this passage yet but it seem like him and Sam were on the same page and that's the part of this that I don't like that here Sam Darnold going into his third year you're talking about too bumpy years to start out maybe feels like he's starting over again and I just don't think that's the greatest thing for a young quarterback like him well this is going to be apartments fourth team in four years so you member he was a first round draft pick by the Baltimore Ravens back in two thousand and sixteen or two thousand seventeen I think it was I he didn't play because he was injured came back up play two years so the ravens a year for Cleveland and then ended up you know last year Tampa where you know they threw the ball a lot and because chase what's his name Jim Swenson throw thirty interceptions that there had to throw to catch up in so many different ways so I he benefited from that a one year deal eight million dollars is really nothing but I do believe at six four two and as you pointed out he's a fast wide receiver that he's got an opportunity you know he has got a major opportunity here right now and as far as the relationship between Robby Anderson and Sam Darnold it's unfortunate that these things happen but I do believe the jets made a legitimate offer and I just think that Robby Anderson wanted to go with his former coach down in Carolina is former coaches the coach that was that he had in temple and he want to be a part of that offense and he has a huge chance down there to be their number one guy so both guys I think benefit from this probably the loser I guess if you wanted to say that he was a loser in all of this would probably be Sam Darnold because the relationship that we have with Robby Anderson and then the other question is now one R. O. T. is going to start are they gonna start are these guys going to get a chance to work out together are they going to get to know each other that kind of thing so the jets acted relatively quickly here they got a replacement they're probably gonna draft one or two receivers in this year's draft you know and and Joe Douglas again shows himself to be I think very conservative and and not really trying to make a big splash but again I go back to the fact that Robby Anderson I think really bet on himself here and if he does have a couple big years in Carolina in that offense that we saw that was so great at Ellis you because remember that Joe Brady was the offense coordinator for Joe burrow down there the last two years and that's really what really took Joe burrow to the top he also came from the saints so this is an offense that supposedly you know is going to get the best out of all these different players so good for our Robby Anderson he's bet on himself and breshad Perriman is gonna have a huge opportunity here with the New York Jets now yeah he well one is an opportunity I'm sure he was looking for in the last a couple of years after the disappointment of him being drafted as high as he was not really producing in injuries I'm sure that this is you know he's looking at this like I got to continue what I did last year at the end of the season and now I'm gonna be a big target for Sam Darnold in this Adam gase offense and this is going to be a a walk here for me in which I'm really gonna benefit that's probably what he's thinking hopefully that benefits the jets as well of course Robby Anderson and Matt rule two guys who have relationship all way back in college so it makes a lot of sense for Robby Anderson to want to continue that are bent on themselves in the system and a coach that he is comfortable with and no was Syndergaard the of the other big news there there's so many questions here it's so much disappointment it's weird I know I never really process the bad sports news like that Noah Syndergaard thing yesterday the end in the way that I did which was sort of it was a really really jarring and surprising and shocking especially all the images that we saw Noah Syndergaard now with the shirt off and all the analytics stopped was talking about and stuff's tape to him he's in great shape and then he's tweeting out pictures on Instagram of the refrigerator that he's got an all this health stuff and everything that he's doing going into a walk here I was thinking that this guy was going to have the year of years for him like finally it was going to happen well do this yeah well the interesting thing now is going to be his his rehab time in when will he come back so he'll have the surgery on Thursday so let's say March to April April may June July August September October November December is nine months right yes so it's nine months and so he'll have you know you know you'll be throwing again maybe maybe April twenty twenty one he comes back depending on you know what they have learned through the years through all these different Tommy John surgeries but I wish you would have had this done prior to spring training he was complaining about it before spring training and he he might not even be a met anymore though he's going to walk here so I get that the timeline of this for the Mets might not even mean anything no it's not as if you got no with Syndergaard under contract for the next four years and you can't wait for him to come back this might be it this might be it for him and and the Mets and and because of what else were dealing with in the news and and how weird everything is it's it's just was it was hard for me to even process there wait a second so this is the last time we're gonna see him in a Mets uniform potentially is is him at the end of last year and it just shows you that all of this tends to work out to with all this too much debt that how many starters in Burley bandwagon it's got these guys any promises guys gonna start neck I'm going to start is only six guys five someone always ends up getting hurt this is one of the worst ones were even worse of course it was Jacob the ground but you know call me naive or someone who is taking the bait again with Noah Syndergaard I really really believe that he was setting himself up in his walk year to just be great and I don't know when this happened I don't know when he felt it but once again we see him have to come in or have to get a surgery after he comes into camp in all these great shape it was only a couple years ago we saw the same things put on all the muscle and of course he ends up getting hurt he's out for an extended period of time they missed a lot of that season and here we are again forty comes in the best shape of his life and he ends up having to have Tommy John surgery just that's not a combination for Noah Syndergaard that seems to work where the guys putting on muscle or getting shredded it's all about working out he's just never healthy when that happens it's crazy to think that those two things don't work out but for now it's at the garden having worked out so a sensor we just says that he's injury prone he has a problem and you can't do it you can't go through a full season and I mean I don't know what else to tell you by the way I'm I'm I think I mis read the one he started reporting discomfort he he did report discomfort during spring training and it was right before spring training was was suspended then he had that's when he was complaining so wasn't before spring training started it was in the midst of spring training but it was right before the whole thing got suspended and doctor Neil Ella tries out no way that definitely confirm the diagnosis one of the reasons why he's going on Thursday to get it done and you're right it it it's it's it's sobering news because it's now again you know and know is run around without a shirt on and all that other stuff just goes to show you man you know the the little the ligaments the the elbow you know this is a kid that is been trying to throw a hundred five miles an hour since he got up in the major leagues and eventually it was going to go it's just going to go now the question is what is he worth on the open market what are the Mets try to do here can they do anything I mean so those questions are obviously will be answered next offseason but this is definitely a but a shocker for all of us and and it came out of nowhere that's the thing I guess like propped up out of nowhere else and I know like I said I heard everything channel but I'm like the same way like what they have what now of all things like I was like the last thing I was thinking about yeah I was actually funny if you I mean not funny if you're a Mets fan or a jets fan listening to Joan Evan processing information so the event starts to tell Joe about Robby Anderson and and the way that he's telling him that this video is out.

"Wide receiver market is finally moving. So let's go through it. We mentioned The Panthers Moving on from Cam Newton while they welcomed former jet Robbie Anderson on a two year twenty million contract Schefter had it as twelve million in two thousand twenty. He reunites with Matt rule which little bit connect the dots that nobody else really done. At least I haven't seen it Anderson was undrafted at a temple but his coach at temple was Matt Rule so This is a I think a quality signing for any team especially at that price the word throughout December and into January and then Leading up to free agency was that Robbie Anderson thought he can get anywhere from thirteen to fifteen million. He doesn't really come close to that. But the Teddy Bridgewater Lead. Panthers now have a deep threat to do some damage

"Jets receiver Robby Anderson has signed with the Carolina Panthers they would've terms two year twenty million dollar deal yeah that's about right twelve million dollars in the first year well so we didn't get the you can get the three of you are all my own arm dearly wanted yeah that's what I got at least in some years that's what it's gonna cost us with the that's what the other receiver who was the receiver that went to who am I thinking of no the receipt with the Houston got three years our rental car rental car again he got three someone give him okay we'll try yeah yeah you said it was wrong it isn't this pretty good are you still at all but had a did it they had a decent year last year in Dallas had a bounce back year in Dallas but it wasn't it wasn't something where he's gonna turn back in the Randall Cobb we saw an increase you are at this point he's a slot receiver that is limited can't stay healthy Serra that rules bringing all the owls back yep ha the longer they could act Lou Rick was good was gushing over PJ Walker on Twitter yesterday let you know that he very well could end up being the starting quarterback in Carolina no well I mean if you take the big shots yet also believe teddy Bridgewater doesn't succeed he feels like PJ walkers ready to slide in there and take his meds guys will be back up there every time somebody speaks BJ's are gonna play well he'll keep employee but he's not he's not a starting quarterback in this league probably not who is it was left so what what I mean experiment in art yeah but you know if if Anderson twenty if Anderson's two for twenty it's not that far off yeah I'd rather permanent Robby Anderson yeah more of a risk bigger upside Robby Anderson I feel like you're Robbie Anderson he is what he is he's a deep threat he's not a high volume catch guy he he mean it listening serves a certain purpose and he serves it well I mean he's not available so that I mean you know I mean we would have taken it had legal sorry yeah would you rather have a shop time and or or manual Sanders I would rather have paired I think we got enough slot receivers well and and is also is also has injury issues and he's a little bit older they started three yes side that the pull hamstrings and stuff like that if you get twelve thirteen games out of them I think that would be a good year man paragon signed a one year deal that you know there yes or two yeah I mean I don't care what it is I just I just need another receiver in here back to the phones we have we had you Corey Florida G. Corey listening on the radio that come out to Corey how are you I'm going garden at my mother's house of god busting out concrete why you were getting your mother's house you were cut down trees last time out well I'm out of work right now we teach in our home so he launched invisible mothers are all good to meet you it is yeah man now that I'm pretty sure she appreciates that yes she does she does well back to the evil thing I would like to have a shot here and there because it's probably a domino effect right now the rugby and is designed to I think that would be a good pick up for us this one a one year deal then right for sure and you can't trade with the jets now because they're getting their problem one of those either dear Judy or probably seating lamb well look at you making sure there's not a good job in medical centers in New Orleans yeah we got to ease signed a two year deal as well think about yeah yeah and I don't know he's two years sixty million yeah eight million that's crazy and what better thing I I do not miss I listed BC because my clippers but it sure will turn it on who's going to cut open the way J. as though he still may get a chance yeah who are you gonna get a choir about two months will be released in the store right now yeah I was gonna interested in seeing the clippers versus Lakers Western Conference final also was interested in seeing what Houston look like in the playoffs because they were starting to put together a little bit yeah but you know you're not James harden gate in the playoffs the the uniformity of size no rush rush for cash to our south three are going to break out not me I think the clippers Lakers would have been I mean we still may get it we just may happen in what July yeah it's fun though yeah well yeah but yeah hi to Corey preceded G. O. Bensalem G. O. go head how are you what up January owns a yeah you guys are frustrated with the pay cuts and stuff like that I like I totally understand that at the end of the day you got your number login laid off their people who are get paid at all you know you've got to get paid still to get paid it said in a salary to have health insurance you have all these things the need for not working at all they're not working so they aren't you're getting paid for what they're doing or not doing anything they're still getting paid and I didn't I didn't understand why you can why you're mad at the owner FirstEnergy treating this like a business but they already walked there we walked back to you yeah it does but but you're you're you're going on and I'm not gonna come a year anyway no it's fine I think it's a good discussion your right business wise everybody you're right look at a lot of people are getting laid off and nobody could ever really prepared for it because nobody saw this coming this thing came out of left field I know people are making a lot of rash decisions and I think if if Philadelphia fans didn't come in and react the way they did today I can almost guarantee you almost everybody in the end and be able to do the same thing yeah there's no doubt in my mind that they have if they were just the first ones to jump out there but they all these owners are thinking about it yes they are yeah and now and you know what they're doing now they're probably thinking about not doing it at all right court court court yeah I don't want to let you guys know I mean I understand the the the the frustration but there are guys are not getting it all right now like I just know I'm an ominous Angelica Firestone so there's this guy that came in earlier today he said he lost his job you know that his socks is really sucked because right now we're going through right now and I hope this is over soon because this is crazy but yeah I mean he's got they still were not paid you know you're at work and so you have to have different opinions on it but yeah I did I did it with that big of a deal well here's the thing I said to have to pay you back off with no first of are going to go out with the marks and resulted in Marjorie's madness geo are gonna do but then again I'm not going to Philly stuff that I don't want to bore you but to say what a what does I mean there's some we all got family members that are going to this is well all right I have to be in a fortunate position that I am with this job but I have family members that live paycheck to paycheck dead dead dead they don't have jobs now they they they don't have an income steel company and so you know I got extended family members on either side of my family wife cited family or my side of the family that they are getting these type of benefit so I kinda had that initial pulling myself that hold on they are getting something there are companies out there that are laid people off completely with no paychecks and that's why I wasn't as outraged by lot of people there and yeah it just looked bad from a from a professional team billionaire standpoint it the optics are bad that's all it is yeah that's all it is here's the view Joshua Harris who is the owner and the ownership group there are there are billionaires they own a franchise that is that that's worth billions of dollars and the optic is they're coming out and they're saying okay we're cutting your salary that's all it is short you know what those workers would they rather be laid off know what they could do but that that's that but like for example the airline industry they're gonna lose they're gonna lose so much money they're gonna lose so much money that they're going to need to be bailed out by the government they're gonna need billions of dollars by the government Joshua Harris isn't going to need it relic just weren't they may lose millions of dollars are gonna lose millions of dollars with the seventy Sixers but you know what like they're not going to need a loan to make up for the money they were used for for losing revenue from the gate right if I could just looks bad you're right yeah I have my my both my parents are self employed and a little bit older and now they can't go out right like they they're likely they're a little bit older and then all the mortgage anymore so they're okay with with with their bills for now right I have friends that own small businesses that work in small biz short I have friends that were in the restaurant industry enter bartenders they're screwed yeah right they don't have it the best savings that they can they they can rely on I'm frankly I'm worried about this this industry depending on how long what is that goes along with it you know every impact do you use hard to it's hard to not be a professional team meeting or be a professional athlete and not being impacted by this is almost as our maybe worse than me recession a decade ago a little bit over a decade ago when when a lot of people getting laid off M. as in jobs back to the phones we have our birth so in Warrington Alberto go ahead how are you hello Johnny Martorano I don't care what the situation is you take care of you people always point blank period now there's no way they're going to be what that the Sixers are gonna hold anytime soon after this year so if you get what I'm saying no you're right yeah yeah your god is a S. the forty five year old it was our defense was living there's a hundred if you know your artistic thing really and then you can call for people to make sure that they have the phone ring thank you Sir like all the call earlier the United States almost sorry the the business owner in Jersey now that you've got to take care of his people regardless of your goals in the better not I respect because at the end of the day all you have in this word all you have in this world if you're worried and we're also excited at the end of the day you gotta take your your people if you don't think your your people your scumbag to work through and that's pretty much it I feel I've been which are still considered an essential yeah but the point remains as there are many of people there but I have a job right now because of this most people may have the hardest time getting a job after all this is said and done it was very clear your people now is that this process is always better for the prepaying you'll get a check or or however you would get paid I'm gonna put that out of sight if I'm gonna sit down or something so if you put your people spreading especially well if anything your available to give you a call last year there's a there's a little bit more begin by because you are working the billionaire well you know where you're going to be your people you think your your people you make sure your people strategy because at the end of the day if you don't have people in your corner you have nothing one of the many played on the side of his neighbor told just say you're one of those workers and they came to you with this as as as an employee I don't know if the employee is going to feel as discrete it's one along if you're if you're if you're looking at possibly losing your job completely versus being paid eighty percent of your salary keeping all your health benefits your your your pension beneficial for one K. plan like you're going to accept that and not be upset about it verse is losing your job completely and because that so in you can you can almost see why how they justified it right which was well they're only working four days a week now not five days a week so we're taking up to twenty percent so twenty percent would be one less day of work right so I mean I I honestly I think if if if management would have come to me and I work for the seventy Sixers the the the thought of being laid off eighty percent of better than zero percent right well I'm from I..

"Robby Anderson was twenty six something like that they're not gonna go I'm think in more in terms of door said he's twenty seven or Paul Richard seniors twenty eight or forever might shake free so that you have a veteran on this team on the field but they're going to draft a guy like you said relatively high they've got with thirteen thirty one's abilities to move around either up or down to get the guy they want so it didn't make sense and that's that's where they are now one really good when teams are really good you're gonna lose certain guys that are that are glued type players and he certainly help the wide receiver corps when he came here depot took off when he came here there's no doubt that he was important but they're gonna have to drop the gun after drop well these guys going to come out you have to come in here and play because you can't keep everybody that's why the force Buckner trade was so important and if you don't if you don't have the thirteenth pick in the draft and have the ability to get your your date I'm not sure he's even gonna be there thirteen he may not land that now you have the ability to to get him possibly their trade I think I think if you go up to nine you could probably get in at nine but you would never had any ability if you were sitting just at number thirty one then I think you are trying to re sign a manual Sanders may be good what is off the roster but now or other transactions would've been made to clear up some cap space I don't know if that would have impacted you wouldn't trade Buckner did another thirteen thank you may have you know check camp kept arms that I'm not sure how the finances what worked but if you did not have the thirteenth overall pick in the draft you would need a manual standards are a player that you mention Robby Anderson is more of a a straight line runner he has developed a little bit of a a crossing route skill but he's not as refined as Emmanuel Sanders and certainly nowhere near as good as your Judy yeah all right Eric Davis is gonna join us our old pal is gonna join us former niner former daughter broadcasters down in LA we'll catch up with him see what he thinks of the Niners move so far the the NFL in general and how he's doing as we all are going through cover nineteen doing actually here on the sports you're listening to a Papa in line now one one oh four five FM the C. Colt McCoy, New York Giants Agree To Deal

"The giants and the jets and they continue to make some moves nothing to write home about per se I think with the New York and you know but the New York football giants laid to in the afternoon Thursday afternoon with colt McCoy now backing up as we speak Mister Jones so that is a better a backup don't you think that Alex standi who last took a snap well with the Tennessee back in twenty fifteen so called McCoy has had some experience in a more able bodied back up we had a chorus Brady in Tampa and everybody wants to play with Brady Robby Anderson of the jets came out and said he'd like to play with Brady well get in line because that's the word that half of the NFL wants to play with Brady at Robbie Anderson by the way not getting any kind of knocking on his door no rumors no speculation nothing a year with Robby Anderson who is not getting any kind of play with that kind of money that he wants more so and probably will re sign with the New York Jets but with the jets money I'm not the kind of money that if he wanted to make in the open market so the jets and giants have been making some moves and I guess you know Bradbury for the new York football giants Martinez the middle linebacker from Green Bay those are two notable moves and of course both teams are trying to shore up the the offense of line and I think both teams might be able to make some major moves and hope to make some major moves once we get to the NFL draft and I think it's safe to say that both the jets and the giants will be looking for an offense of linemen end or a wide receiver in this upcoming

"Least one more maybe two more in the draft and even if you reside Robby Anderson you gotta go get another wide receiver this draft class you have two good to let somebody's guys pastore and you know we feel when we really need to call him back we need the edge rusher as usual I really wish I knew what happened to my mom and locals and then the judge in the writing of let him go off and tell you what I basically fell off the face of the earth and I had to call as always Jeff Muhammad Wilkerson was a guy who was a dominant force for about two to three years became a bad scene that locker room became very tough to deal with and has not had success leaving the jet organization let's head to the Bronx a my friend let us have a great great show the owner of the I am in the morning but I had a question describing the expended season and extended play or what's your opinion on cultures limiting us they may be running backs there's certain players who hi or or Smith why exactly I mean you're playing sixteen seventeen games why would you limit snaps why would you limit plays what before planet ocean all game did they go last year bill they limit certain players who I mean listen if you clench everything yeah I mean you're gonna treat the team however you want to treat the team if you want a player guys a week seventeen if you want to set your guys in week seventeen that's a dealer's choice type deal and remember the Baltimore Ravens basically sat will more Jackson all week seventeen all wild card weekend and the Baltimore Ravens came out flat against the Tennessee Titans I'm very curious if we roll to next year and we're thinking about a football season and Baltimore has a bye this Paul Moore played differently when they see in a lot we are going to goal pedal to the metal so that we stay in gear your risk the risk you run is that somebody gets hurt but I think for many teams they almost want to keep that momentum going you don't want to run guys out there who are playing like fifty or sixty percent casual running on fumes plan options now you sit them down but if you're firing on all cylinders in many ways playing week seventeen carrying that momentum over can really help you look at Kansas city at Casey got a bite put them rallying to get that box might have been different and I'm going to win winning the Superbowl four thirty eight here on this Thursday morning it's AJ have to digest is just you right here on the family got a lot more to do get a board eight seven seven three three seven sixty six sixty six cents I know with everything that's going on in the world looking for good news while also the Yankees may actually have some good news to report obligated at Belmore a culture come right back here's the thing about new cherry vanilla coke though cherries named first all the flavors tastes just as great I mean it could have just as easily been vanilla cherry coke or it could have been coke cherry vanilla and since it's too amazing flavors of coke it might have been cold vanilla cherry coke or cherry vanilla coke coke unless you're in France which would make it a cocktail of an Iowa Democrat a Democrat.

What could TE Austin Hooper bring to Packers offense?

"Was a report from. I think it was robbed a mosque. Who covers the Green Bay packers and he made you know at least the packers are aware that they need more pask actors? They reportedly planned to add two of them via free agency and the draft. And you can certainly get a bunch. But I'm not sure that the guy that he talked he said they're played into. Target Austin Hooper. I'm not sure that's what Aaron Rodgers really needs. I would rather see somebody more explosive. I don't know what you think about that but either released Jimmy Graham who's just Zaslov signing for them. I would note that Matlin. Flair was the Falcons quarterbacks coach when Austin who was a rookie in two thousand sixteen in Atlanta But Yeah I. I don't know I'm not sure awesome. Hooper is exactly what fixes. What's wrong with Green Bay right now? Which is clear. It's Green Bay at margin only feels comfortable throwing to Davante Adams. Yeah I think they're awesome. Hooper would be fine signing You give the packers a solid possession tight end just really reliable. Almost eighty percent career catch. Ray Can block enough from a dynasty standpoint. He would block J Sternberg who drafted in the third round. This past year in. I mean I really liked him coming at a at a Texas. A&m But you know. Yeah he he would be a big roadblock in the way of j Sternberg. I'm completely with you. Though in Syria I mean I. I think that they should sign two guys. I mean I think that Al Having Allen Lazard as your number two option. The passing game isn't good enough and I think that even if they signed someone like Austin Hooper. I think should go robby Anderson. You know I think that Robbie Anderson Opposite Davante Adams would give them Just a completely different dynamic in their passing game. I think that they need some any they I think they need an explosive field stretcher. And Yeah if I was. I would focus on a guy like Robin Anderson. I mean mark has vowed is scant laying in theory had the skill set to be that guy but he just did not take a second year. Yeah there were some reports from Our friend Matthew Berry had noted that era jittery like Salazar staff-related Allen. So I think they're going to add a wide receiver for sure. But for now I would consider Allen Lazard the front runner for the number two wide receiver job. Assuming they don't add anybody which then was certainly

"They got some. They got some dolls over there on defense. You know, Myles Garrett, Dinsdale war, Jamie collar. They got a lot of guys that are are some playmakers on defense. You saw what they did last week down in New Orleans and drew Brees. So for twenty one year old quarterback to go against that great way of z. phys that's a tall order. That's why it's bothering me. These comparison, Sam, Donald Baker, Mayfield we've seen why Baker Mayfield deserve to be number one. Well, Baker Mayfield wasn't going up against the great Williams defense. He wasn't going. Listen, Gregg. One might have been synonymous because he's associated with bountygate, which obviously had a residual impact on an a detrimental impact on the New Orleans Saints. We get all of that. But the flipside is he's universally recognized as one of the elite defensive coordinates. When you think about the physical water natives in the National Football League, two of the names that come up more so than almost anybody is Wade Phillips obviously, and you've got the situation with Greg Williams. So I think that that's been underplayed to some degree. What about, you know, I totally agree. Again, it goes back to you talking about the youngest quarterback in modern era, playing three games in eleven days, and now you gotta prepare on a short week for Greg Williams defense. That's a tall order, and, and by the way it would help. If some of the other skill position players with help are saying, they name name name. Listen in new balled out. There's no question, but Robby Robby Anderson this the second week he can't hold on the ball strip in wobble walk. Would you know twirl prior? We need. We need more out of him, you know, curse. We need more. I know he's coming back off injury, but you talk about twenty one euro quarterback. We need these guys. They need these guys step up big time with the number doing what he's doing, but cursing the slot. I think you need to put a curse on the outside, put somebody else in the slot because nobody else is getting open. Robbie Anderson and I, I'm gonna say this right now and I said it earlier. They need to go out to the New York Jets need to go out there and get somebody like this, Brian, they need to go out there and adds some. Well, here's what I'm saying that because of the lack of production, you're getting from the other guys. If Robbie Anderson was playing better to hold onto the football, if a noodle was getting more help than I would say, no. But the fact that is so glaring that the jets need help. And on top of the fact that you got a young quarterback there that you're trying to help grow on what have you. You need to get him as much as you could get an I would be support of bringing Dez Bryant. He had a New York City, especially if he was willing to be a slot. Receiver that's a, that's a, that's a big one. That's, but here's a question I'll have. Do you want to do you wanna have their man? Do you want him to enter your coach that you're trying to let you try and instill in your locker room? I think that's to me. That would be the biggest question that you had to as if you're if you're tired boat. I think the fact that he has so much to prove I think that you Cerps any locker room concerns because there's bronze, don't walk in there. He's going to be looking bowl because the underbelly look into validate what he believes of himself combined with the fact that you know what he's very frustrated stuff to prove combined with the fact that you don't really have any standout. Why on the New York Jets? Yeah, clearly guys weren't making plays last night. Again, I go back to your twenty. You got a twenty one year quarterback. You gotta help the man out. You gotta help demand out. No question. They mean what he right here was even a on ESPN radio. Let's transition to the other New York team to New York Giants. You heard the quotes little Dell Beckham junior, just basically talking about how you know we've got two touchdowns against score two touchdowns gay saquon. Two touchdowns as far as I'm concerned, we should be averaging thirty thirty five points a game. This is why he log it in the ball..

"And probably will raghad four hundred and fifty yards passing but the fact that they didn't just smell blood in the water and target the patriots secondary to me is just a failure you know failure to communicate i guess failure of coaching and that's another one of those things where when you're a patriots fan or a patriots hater you can look at that and you can either charge up to the patriot mystique well you know they lulled balls into trying to run the ball when in reality should have been passing the ball or you know as a hater you look at it and you to say those idiots why didn't they pass the ball more with the patriots secondary the way it is and they could have you know had more success on their offense i wanna say of the thirty one completions josh mccown i think twenty to twenty one of them were either behind the line of scrimmage or within ten yards of line of scrimmage sowed really set up more for the backs and the tight end to catch the ball but which to your point your anderson the wide receiver right now jury curse did a pretty decent job he cut four balls on four targets and maybe that's the guy that they should have left in there you'll curley had two catches one for a touchdown but that was it he had those two catches early and they shut him down they tried to go to robby anderson the other wide receiver he had four catches for seventy six yards and i didn't realize this sherry targets they get many times they tried to throw the ball him eleven twelve hours close forty seven attempts in twelve of them went to someone name robbie anderson i woulda just nail their prices right roles are i think i think the showcase showed that's true i think the patriots try to sort of force the ball one way now look that currently made the most of his catches here 230 arturs and then and toward a touchdown and then is pretty much a healthy dose of least what felt like malcolm butler all over him but that was the guy who really could get it done main everson was the one where four receptions on twelve targets so ferry jenkins caught eight balls but he had a total of forty six yards.
