Happy to be here okay. We are also joined by frank and robbo as well. Why are they much why. It's hard enough to tell it to you to address the you call them out for the half. I'm quoting for the white t shirt and black jacket. Or whatever it is rumbles wearing the fashion icon. Anything anything the frank where you've got to wear it. Because he's i understand that. I i told you i not that. All right was he says. Come to you first. Robbo us know what went wrong and realistically how much longer as tessa as the gaffer doesn't make it easy what went right. Let's let's make it easier the to send to halston defend whether or not. That's one thing. Then why if bring bringing in for fifty million pounds more dominant than he was in the game against brentford when they go to the front ariza. Quiet law certainly wide. Lots of crosses into the box enough flies making forward runs. They didn't make good decisions with their final. Paul's it wasn't a terrible performance in terms of creating of twenty two shots. But if he's done defend well enough to send off and defend long. Throw that comes into your boss. Well enough you're gonna lose. Games has cheese second question. I'll probably going to bat saying games. If he doesn't win six or those he's going to be in trouble at.

Is Saka Arsenal’s best player?
"Committee espn fc. Shock his lops fashion. Salazar with you in studio shock. I don't know if you saw yesterday's show. We had a heated discussion over whether the of religion have been reduced to ten men against round madrid in the champions league. We will keep that debate going a little bit later today. Show some different faces to mix it up steve nicol. We'll be by for that joining us now. Though stuart robson julian laurent don hutchison. It is thursday which most importantly mean shaq is power rankings. Most importantly means europa. League will start in greece for arsenal. Beat benfica come from behind in this one. They went three to two advanced. Four three on aggregate a bombing with a couple of goals. Kieran tierney As well jill's. I'll start with you. Just how big was this for arson to advance the round of sixteen in europa league the result of course and qualifying but also the fact that they came from behind. He's he's been very very rare season. I think he was only the second time where they went behind and then ended up winning again we against southampton in the league. The game saint. Mary's but apart from that every time they were behind every time they considered. I couldn't come back and win it so to do that logically would be huge tonight. Plus also the quantification the momentum before the game leicester on sunday and also of course the two goes for obama. Young and the to assists for psychiatry. And i think we need to find you. Were to qualify an amazing player. Bouquets in one thousand nine dong cossack is he. I think he's that best plass sevi- mono people say about me on gets the goals and they rely on. His goal is true. But i think when i watch young suck apply. I think he's got a lot look at his temperament. Look at the way he plays the game. You can tell. Light loves playing football. He's got smile on his face. He's a choose infectious at the training ground when he's playing but talent wise he's got a wonderful less or you can goes pass. Players phone can go either way. Turn the pace again. He works back. He's got a lot really. I mean he must be a manager's dream robbo arsenals best player. he's right up. Two games in the corrected goes for obama yang and that was the difference between the two sides been fieger. I thought place nice football today. But they had no cutting edge going forward whereas cutting edge liquid trying to break off sidelines. Saka was coming in it and those little round the corner obama gang trying to running behind whereas been fake. If all that good fly times just had no cutting edge shocker arsenal just getting it down today just but last questions about about soccer. Yes he in my mind. He is arsenal's best and most important and ask those third goal goal. That takes them to the next round sums it up one more the defender a couple of crossovers defended doesn't know whether he's going to go. Righto left come back onto onto left and picks a fight bullets. Who just onsides 'cause on maybe man because of his two goals headlines but but for me also is a vote soccer and so much of their good plea comes from from his unpredictability from just clever. He is on the ball and for me without question. That teams suffers most without without saka more than anybody else other
Serie A Race Tightens
"We saw in italy where a c milan are windsor. Champions at the halfway stage in syria they are top of the table. Two points clear of into despite the fines. They lost three now at home against atalanta. Insecurity manage a nil nil draw. Meanwhile away against 'euthanazi and romo a seven goal thriller against four three moving them up to third in the table. It's welcoming shall we shoot robson show robot. Let's start with milan against atalanta talk about impressive. The visitors are brilliant. That difficult i ten or fifteen minutes but once they start planning football and they get illegit you vote and he kept on coming in off of that right hand side onto his left. The patter led the line brilliantly. Froylan back in midfield ghosts down one side patty board down the other three centre backs defended really well as well as i've seen the defend for quite some well they dominated the game. I mean thrown in midfield kept on making challenges and milan could get into their front plays enough. So he was at the game for long periods the young plas- planning behind him and mehta and on the other side castillejo. They couldn't get involved in the game for once able to dominate midfield so brilliant performance by its atlanta and now the informed seem at the moment and if they depict their best side against tonight as a earlier on earlier this week and last week they would be right up with the front runners of course is at the moment who are the front runners. I it's interesting is this same regressing to the mean slightly robots. Yes they're a good side but not a great side you know when you go abraham of issues who's thirty nine and he's Lead the line. The three young players played in behind on several different occasions came on on. He's going to be quite good enough to take them to the next level. Amac is got saints off last week. And he's quite good enough at the moment guests. The good game in midweek against calgary didn't play whatsoever today. May you make these Food first full appearance didn't really impress. So they're they're aside. That can improve. But let's do what some young players that needs to improve quickly to narnia didn't think dominated the midfield. And that's what kissy had a problem today. Impressive milano after that defeat which not forget. It was their first domestic defeat against events as they bounced by. Didn't they they got the win. Against torino gonna win against cavalry as well so after this defeat robbo you would be hoping for the same sort of mentality going forward. You think they can get themselves together. They can regroup because it's against the small teams in which they've picked up those crucial points this season. I need some of that players. Back the nia challinor who need right. But you wanted to substitute. He'll you him back. The got manzu kitchen now to help out ibrahimovic if he if he needs to be swapped any point so i think they've got the mentality pill has done a really good job mentally with them. He's a good coach as well. They got the you know exactly what they're trying to do but he's also got them on that even kill so when they lose games they don't panic too much. They come back again. So i think they'll they'll certainly putting performances but i still don't think they're quite good enough to win syria
Liverpool Crash and Burn
"Liverpool losing to burnley by final score of one nil a late penalty for ashley. Barnes the difference and this result significant on so many levels for matches in a row without a goal in the league for liverpool a sixty eight match. Home unbeaten streak snapped. You gotta go back to early. Two thousand seventeen almost four years ago for the last time liverpool lost a premier league game at anfield. They now six points off the league lead from our perspective. We welcome in stuart robson shock his lob julian the ron robbo all start with you. What's gone wrong at liverpool. Well in the last few games the final pass hasn't been quite good enough. They played with the fluency today. They go to into some very good areas. I mean trent alexander. Arnold must have had the ball twenty thirty times inside the burnley box with time to pick out across play cross into the box and he picked out the wrong option and the movement in the box. Particularly the first of wasn't good enough. You wanted to come short at times and rather mike dynamic hawksley Was on the right hand. Side is not really a front. Bless we've moved wasn't great in the box amani trying to the runs the deliveries from trent alexander. Arnold were good enough. He should've just been whipping booze. The goalkeeper in the back four and allowing people to mike runs into it. He was trying to pick people up. So they're they're lacking confidence at the moment you can tell that guy moron and other disappointing display from the shock. It wasn't for a shortage of opportunities. Perhaps nothing more symbolic liverpool recently than that. Remiss handed an opportunity and couldn't put it in. Yeah it was a rather ridiculous defensive era that the letter again and yet a lot of ground to cover before taking the chance on and let's be honest as good. As as nick pool was all game long. he shouldn't have said a chance to we. Went for a little bit too much. Pays the crossbar kind of some some liverpool up over recent weeks. They've been getting opportunities. But i just feel too many in that squad seem to have misplaced the shooting boot
Looking back: Tottenham Hotspur vs Liverpool, 1995
"Fa cup like little bit sparkle so far. So we thought we'd take you back to one. Thousand nine hundred tottenham against liverpool anfield jurgen klinsmann score in the winter to see spurs book. A place in the semifinal yorgen and robbo back with me. What was striking when you take a look at the goal is the celebration in the complete ecstasy from those on the bench for the spurs fans in attendance. It kind of brings you back to more of a day where you feel the. Fa cup was was more. Relevant was a bit extreme. I think you know. Obviously if the fans in the stands it's a whole different game and all suffering covid at the moment but but I i mean the experience. I had In those years in in england definitely river meaningful in terms of the fa cup Is a religion fully english. People is is is so important. Sometimes i mean. At least a tottenham my days it was almost more important than championship and And then when it happens maybe by accident that you win you know a quarterfinal game at liverpool. And they haven't won for many years and enfield road then then things are going bit out of control but you can just. You can just see how much it means to you to the fans to your your teammates as well it was going to be when goals spurs and when you're looking back not only. It was a very special moment that you obviously won the game identity. But but i never will forget that at that situation at that moment was just the way. The liberal ville faints basically on so we went to our corner. A lot of tottenham fans were and we we think them and applauded them. And and i will never forget. I turned around and i thought okay. The rest of the stadium is probably gone by because out there for ten minutes or something but they weren't there at the stadium was still packed and then we turned around and walked towards locker room and the whole stadium stood up and gave us standing ovations to liverpool. Fans did that. And that's what kind of i never experienced anything like that before. My career never ever afterwards because It shows you the understanding of the english fans when an away team is that given day a little better and then comes away with a win and they they all know al performance and there was something very unique in my my time when you speak to anyone who's played of that generation genuinely they say it was on a par with championship. Is that fair. It was it was above the championship. I'll give an example. If we played mentioned united home at highbury in a league match. You'd get thirty. Five thousand in the faa get sixty thousand and My biggest memory is an biggest atmosphere. That i played in was an fa cup semifinal against mentioned united played at villa park there was sixty thousand there and when we arrived to the ground to hop us one went out onto the pitch. At two o'clock the ground was full. The atmosphere was unbelievable. It was it was. It was meant to be a tough game. Pitches weren't particularly good. It was played on a bumpy pitch but the atmosphere was incredible. It was it was really what everybody wanted to win. And we could. We get to the fun on fortunate. We lost the game two one but it was It was always sticks in my memory will be the atmosphere both hostile and in terms of the just the noise that came out the ground.

Mohr is stroking from the eighties. Yeah, Claire's car. Never seen a shot so bright. I don't like this. This is one of the songs just makes you feel kind of picky like something's wrong, Mike, like there's like, like something bad happened against Daddy Love? Yeah, something worse than that. Like a sad eighties movie where someone dies. Never dress you wearing You know what it feels like. It feels like a guy singing to the ghost of his dead wife. call and point them out we're going to hear from a lot of new jersey teachers and what they actually do in the summer when everyone thinks to doing nothing in the summer a some of them do but others you know and i put it out on real steve trevor and i also got into my facebook page so please hit that and save it up nine o'clock hour we'll be talking about things teachers do in the summertime to reinforce to their students that they're actually doing stuff in the summertime all-stock about summer homework but i wanna start off with right now speaking of school point pleasant borough held their graduation and among the graduates was billy borowski i heard this on the bill spady show and i kind of i'm listening to bill tell the story and i'm thinking like i'm kind of like half asleep half awake and kind of wake it up and i'm here in this in this can't be relentless dream in this billy browse sqi graduated high school and point pleasant borough and he's going into the marine corps so he stands up with his other classmates going into the air force and they got record denies that the ceremony but he wanted to wear the sash the marine corps sash with his cap and gown and they're not allowed to as a matter of fact not only allowed to but police showed up to give him an escort out if he actually wore the sash it got to wear the principal had asked him to you know to to pull back his robe so they could see that he wasn't trying to sneak the marine corps sash in and i'm saying like dream in this and then like when spada said he was in the marines spady was in the marines i must be dreaming this but actually did research the find that if spady was in the marines he actually was in the marines as matter of fact we've got audio of bill spady is time in the marine corps Areas. but but but enough of that actually what do you make this so you know we the superintendent point pleasant borough superintendent guinea vincent smith comes up with a statement and basically the problem is that they're only sashes worn are school issued that honor society things like that but you cannot wear the marine corps session i'm gonna ask you one eight hundred two eight three one zero one point five if you're going to go into the service of your you know if you want to defend your country support your country back your country getting outta high school and go into the service the marines you know the toughest of all the services do you should you be allowed to wear the marine corps says at graduation one eight hundred two eight three one zero one point five how do you feel about this school superintendent and this principle you know getting to the point where they would have been cops in she doesn't get to do it one eight hundred two eight three one zero one point five i mean if anything you know what you cannot wear the sash it's against school rules lord and you one eight hundred eighty three one one point five if anything you know budge wink wink sado more okay don't wear the sash i'll be very disappointed and then leave the room and all my god i can't believe he wore the sash but i mean but to get to take it that seriously if anybody should be taking it that seriously should be the students you know if anybody should be taking it that seriously should be the family and you know the parent of bill borowski was on with spady of this morning check it out at nj one zero one five dot com very upset over this and you know what i also want to ask you because we've done this topic before about you know who's going to college who's not going to college but we've never talked about the military so i would like to know i would like to hear from people high school students who are enlisting i'll give you a shout out right now i can't give you let you where the says on the radio but i would like to recognize you i would like to give you a shout out my cousin ryan trevelise is going he's joining the marines going through the party on saturday and graduating high school not able to wear the marine corps sash because the principal and the school superintendent point pleasant borough won't allow it and secondly i want to hear for you is anybody graduating high school or is anyone graduated high school and going right into the military how did it work out you know if you're going in tell me what made you want to do it if your son or daughter is going in call up talk to me tell me why and also you know if you went in tell those going in what they can expect it's a lot different now you know the bar is higher at chip bar is higher one eight Well, Don makes was good enough to ask us if we wanted to attend a kiss concert a lot of people must have said, no, I mean, it must have been a ton of knows before he got the first and second choice, and I've never seen kiss. I've interviewed gene Simmons which I thought was enough for me. I was a huge kiss fan right up until about nine th grade. And once they took their makeup really lost the appeal for me there used to be magazines rock and roll magazines cream CR EM etcetera where they would try to get pictures of kiss without their makeup. You'd see a picture of gene. Like from the nose up, and whatever I for whatever stupid reason worshipped at the nights in the service of Satan, which allegedly is what kids for I was kiss arm. So I just want to give you guys some context about reality television specifically, but also how TV numbers work, so eight hundred thousand sounds like a lot of people for television, but truly it is not know, however to preface this cable news and network television or cable networks, excuse me, and network networks, exc, etc. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. Cable versus networks. Polen much different viewership ripe cable has a harder time pulling in over a million viewers whereas networks easily poll in the five to six million viewers. Right. And it is long. Understood amongst various, cultural historians and writers that television is one of the few true mediums of cultural poll, right because if you can be a cable television show and get over a million people watching it consistently. Then there is a dedicated demographic in this country for that. Content. Right. Whereas with networks, it's also that like guys, I'm not joking. The Massingir each week has like thirty million total viewers, so tragic. No matter what I wanted to out walk or crazy, or whatever like it is actual, and it is actually an icon writes an entire show orca to with how prevalent the Kardashians are with how ever-present they are in the media landscape. You would think they are doing numbers. So they have a hundred million followers on every account. Now, you would assume them e news as you know, is a subsidiary of NBC universal. "robbo" Discussed on First Class Fatherhood
"Welcome back the first-class fatherhood. I had been very blessed. That has so many top shelf names on the podcast over last ninety nine episodes. And I have to be honest almost all of them were more than happy to come on here and having opportunity to talk about their father journeys family life, and I really need to give a big shout out and dean Cain. He came on the show back on episode voice seven and not only delivered an awesome message about fatherhood. But the superman that he is he has consistently retweeted. So many of my posts on Twitter and really helped me gain a lot of notoriety for the podcast. So he is a standup guy and a first-class bother all the way another dad that brought a huge amount of attention to the podcast was Dion. Sanders. I stayed after his manager for about two months straight and finally had the opportunity to interview prime time right here on the show. And he also had a great message share about fatherhood and faith and his episode. Brought a ton of traffic to the podcast as well. So. A big thank you to Dion Sanders. Another major download draw was navy seal. Robbo Neil, the first class father who shot and killed Osama bin Laden, he brought a lot of listeners as did. All the navy seals. I've been honored to speak with here on the podcast those who've listened loyally here know how much I love the frogmen and their mindsets. Jason Redmond is another one. His entire story is so inspirational and his fatherhood journey is great. He was very helpful to me in getting other seals the come on the show. And I am very grateful to him for that. And Craig Sawyer another navy seal and former marine he has got such an important mission of trying to end child sex trafficking, which is way out of control in this country through his veterans for child rescue organization, and I was just so humbled and honored to be a small part of that. And just have him here on the podcast. There are so many first-class fathers. I don't wanna go through all the names right now. But I do encourage you to go through the archives. Take a look at the. Names of all the people who have appeared here on the program, and for you guys out there that are always asking me. How do I get all these amazing guests do I pay them? And my connected. Pay for those, but you can't get them a goddamn proper week. But but the but he's not lying when he says the jokes come a thousand miles away where you can predict them and I'm cure thinking, God, this is going to be my first review and I don't want to sound pretentious. But then when I'm seeing, I'm like, how do not know where it goes and then we're, it goes, beep, beep be when you're you're trying to fill you motion, no, or trying to feel sad or funny. I mean, they queue up the music to just to reinforce if you're that dumb Martin as an audience, fewer. This is the part where you need to feel sad. Yeah, this is the part where you're supposed to laugh. So how did you feel when you saw these jokes come in a mile away and you sit in their angry and the theaters erupted in laugh. Well, hold up before you even answers that why you can predict some things. Some us things in places like how the fuck do we get here? This is weird. This is this makes no sense. You saw it in the trailer. So he has dyslexia and see what I mean. They just go to bazaar areas for laugh shirt. You don't have to go there and it makes no sense. So he has dyslexia in Tiffany. Haddish care to says, all right now that we know what the problem is. I can help you and he says, how? And she says by bring you into a hexagon and beaten the fuck out of. What is the capital belch. That is. No, I'm I'm not a. I'm not a therapist, but I don't think that cures, dyslexia right there, physically abusing somebody. I don't think they used to cure it. The sixty. Even knew. Yeah, teaching him how to focus his physically abusing him. Right. So every time he he's keeps he sees something and gets a confused. He's gonna think about that as well. He's like, this is yes, weird, man. Yeah. I mean, even even people who are laughing at. That makes sense. I was going to abuse. Yeah. No, it makes no sense. There's a moment of team-building not to tell you about his. And and the thing is they have to people that they had trying to make carry the movie and let them just kind of go on and on five thing is when you add other characters. The movie starts to meander even more assure even comes to a standstill and not that I don't like some of these people that they have as the students. There's a Romney Markle right, isn't isn't the movie. And and he's actually, he's actually pretty funny. He's the kind of guy he's he's a woke conspiracy brother. Yeah, I could tell that he he, he, he comes in with some funny lines every now and then. But after you've heard about five times, it's like we got it broken, how in the same scene by the way. And so he's seeing? Yeah. Yeah, yeah, man. And you get these these folks together. And like I said, they're fun. You know, you got a juvenile a juvenile delinquent play by an winters. You have a Robbo Mary, Mary, Lynn west. 'cause he plays a wide PU is being abused by husband, even if it's mentally abused and they make kind of light out of it. Yes. She says she says, my husband just at me and my kids out of control, but I'm blessed in the more they do that job like, wait a minute. You living in a abusive relationship. Oh, but, but this is comedy, but we played it up for last Martin unfunny than domestic abuse this what was going to get shut down. Martin, maybe I'm nitpicking. Maybe I'm abuse. I don't know, but they solve the metoo of it all by her coming to terms with it, but then her acting very dominant and be like, well, this was me now or this was the meat..

I mean, we saw for San how did with that was so we're I, he does have room to grow getting off blogs, you like to see more that it wasn't cursing. What he did on Sunday. I think that you know this year more than any in recent memory. I don't worry as much about this linebacker core. If Sean Lee does have to miss a little bit of time, I think they have enough depth and the have enough top and talent. Now Wilson playing really well and late and Vander Esch isn't a huge, huge drop oil. And another thing that doesn't bother me as much leaving out is he hasn't played well in the first two weeks, and the defense is still been good. That's secondary's phenomenal. And the the defensive line is getting to the quarterback, so I don't really worry about him missing time it. We're not even really talking about not Thomas who came over from Green Bay in the offseason who I think initially they brought in to be Sean lease replacement in these situations. You know, I think that they were hoping. And again, this totally be wrong, kinda just reading through the lease talking to some people. I think they were hoping that late Vandross would come in a great for camp. Have a great queasy that not yet injured and he might be you're starting Mike linebacker, and then you'd move Jalen Smith's at the Sam. Allow them to rush the passer often play on the field in certain packages, but those rules kind of flipped. I think because of how good Jalen sniff was, and obviously vanish suffered the injury didn't allow out practice time, but I think initially they kind of thought Joe Thomas would be the next man up Sean Lee. And then they started seeing some things from Layton Vandereycken wanted to get that first round pick on the field, but real quick. Let's go on the Seattle Seahawks injury report. We're not going to go through the whole thing, but I did want you to highlight some of the notable absences from the Seahawks practice on Friday, kinda give some decisions on what they're looking like. A lot of their starters were banged up a little bit in even some of their key contributors for also banged up. Go ahead and talk about some of the Seahawks who may or may not play this weekend for the Seattle. Yeah, let me get my producer to pull that up for me wrote quick. Producer the producer has. To thursday. Shania location. I have not seen the the Friday updated lists right now, but my is looking at right now. He should have. I know. I know one of the big ones is just in Brit the starting center for Seattle. He had a, it was a shoulder injury that you know the the, the word I got is it's not looking good. He might be anytime decision, but you know, he was questionable closer to be doubtful, questionable, Ethan posted who's back up. He former LSU office alignment. He was also banged up. He was also questionable k. Jay. Wright was another linebacker that was questionable that they don't think he's gonna play again. I haven't seen the whole practice report today, but the word I kinda got is doesn't look like HR rights gonna play. It looks like Bobby Wagner would be back from his injury that's been keeping him out in week two limited him in week one. So they'll be getting some guys back, but it also sounds like the offense align is already. Weakness is going to be banged up, and then another really good linebacker cage. Eight right. Is also gonna be out if what I'm hearing is true, but once we get that report producers gotta pull up years shortly, we'll be to tell you for sure. Yeah, so it's not up on their website yet. I'm on the clock. Fan sided account right now, and Bobby. Saami Wagner was a full participant on Thursday. He'll be ready to go. This was for six hours ago. They will get DJ fluker back for Sunday, right guard is back. The Wilson is fine. Trae flowers was full participant on Thursday. I don't see anything about our guy at wide receiver..
