"Kobe nineteen our own Susie Jones went through it today north memorial is opened its first culverted nineteen drive through testing operation given that I've had at least one of the symptoms I was actually able to get a test we're sorry as you can hear it was not pleasant but it was quick spokesperson Katie Sullivan says you don't need an appointment and they have the potential to test a lot of people so this is a new process for us it's hard to say how many people need tests right now but we want them to be available in Robbinsdale Susie Jones news talk eight three WCCO the Minnesota Senate today approved the use of more than seventeen million dollars of federal money to secure and protect elections senator Mary kipp wire of former secretary of state says it's important to have an orderly process that's really important in this time of lack of of certainty in a lot of things are changing Minnesotans can count on their elections being conducted as much as possible within current Minnesota law the bill passed with overwhelmingly bipartisan support a freeze warning tonight for most of the state otherwise mostly clear and chilly low thirty five I'm Laura Oakes newstalk eight three WCCO newscasts the rewind feature on radio dot com now the Friday night on the good neighbor newstalk eight threo WCCO I'm your host and relate for the next four hours me and Susan plants will entertain you won't I hope that I cracked some jokes every now and then we'll talk some sports we do have a few guests on the show this evening actually a three guest on the show other three guest over the course of the evening we're gonna talk to reg Chapman WCCO television reporter we hope to be joined by him at nine thirty I know these kind of running around he's doing some things but Rhys Chapman is a really cool too and there's a lot of cool people in in television here locally and and rages one of the really really cool cats out there so I look for to check in with him I haven't seen in awhile home and I won his perspective on just the way that we're all in the media business operating during the course of the coronavirus called nineteen and for him having to do a live shot from home and just that whole dynamic and everything because typically red's a guy this out in the field needs run around he's researching and doing stories and I know it's got to be extremely I don't even want to say difficult because I'm like I speak for him but just it's it's totally different the way that news reporters are going about their business nowadays we'll talk to read chapter hopefully at nine thirty what autumn at some point I think tonight was scheduled to to check in with him at nine thirty at ten o'clock we will talk to the head coach of the Minneapolis more football program and that's Charles Addams junior and I want to talk to him about just how he's having communication with his current student athletes because I know that with the end of the school year but can you locating with the young people that are exiting your school in the notes that are continuing to be at the high school that will be on your football team going into next year what is it like how was he able to communicate with his guys what are the prospects for may be a delay in ramping up for the school year and for high school football in all of that a negative thoughts on the kid that he coached they got drafted a couple weeks ago Tyler Johnson well headed down to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to play with Tom Brady imagine having a kid making good from the the north side of Minneapolis is going to go catch football from the goat so we'll talk to Charles Addams junior I coming up at ten o'clock and then at ten thirty last interview of the night we'll talk a look in from some zone coverage Minnesota he has us some takes some opinions about the regular season schedule that was unveiled for the National Football League for the Vikings yesterday so those would be the three individuals that we talk to tomorrow night but I want to start off the show with saying that I am so pumped because I did something for the very first time ever literally an hour ago okay so Susan you might have done this maybe a year ago a couple years ago maybe you've done this for a long long time but I did something for the first time ever that job that I just I had never done okay and what I did Susan was Hey he's pizza right have you ever heard of it love haggis pizza I just tried it for the first time ever it's good isn't it it is more than good it's it's a game changer in in the reason why I say it's a game changer Hey I know people like like is this what you leave the show off with yeah I'm I'm we're having fun on a Friday night dammit this is not this we have a happy hour basically on a Friday night all right we all know that we're living in quarantine liat and I want to have some fun on the show okay in you guys can have fun with me it was the first time I'd ever tried it white honestly I didn't know anything about it until recently okay I've read a body people let we're talking about in like in the reason why I'm late to the party admittedly and I know the people out there like late you're a Minnesotan how did you not know about this being a thing before I have to admit I'm not necessarily a frozen pizza okay I'm not necessarily a frozen pizza so you were had lots of monster I have not had that one and that was one is written to me tonight yeah it's very very similar to Haiti's they use a lot of cheese and good ingredients okay so it is now is lots of matzah is that that's a local one too right no I think a lot Simonson actional one I called the national but head eases local I know that okay yeah so so I'll have to check the last month right what the heck is it's really good in this is the reason why I'm so like I feel like I've accomplished something in my life is that whenever you you come across something especially in the you know the food around it tastes really good and it's a local it's a Minnesota product you're gonna feel better about it right support local support our neighbors support each other right I dive into it and I don't know what you love the most about it because it's the thing that struck me a ball diving into it tonight was a couple things number one the sauce was so good and I am a sauce died so so like I know that people talk about you know season who's got you know great trust and also if you have a really really good sauce like to me the sauce will will stand out and set you apart in the in in terms of pizza for me okay V. that was the number one thing that struck me in the number two is this the the fact that it doesn't taste like a frozen pizza right that to me that's the thing that makes it so different and so special it doesn't taste like a froze with the how many places or how many companies that do frozen pizzas can literally saying that they taste like going to an establishment and getting a take out pizza I don't think that there are many and this is not throwing any shade on the national debt well maybe I am throwing shade what we talk about do Jornal right are you talk about all the the the major what tunes to all those different ones right don't those tastes like frozen pizzas at least to me they do this did not and I'm not just saying this because the Minnesota company I'm not just saying it because I'm trying to get props to arm you know somebody that's amongst us it actually was pretty darn good so I'll be honest I'm late to the party but now I'm gonna throw a little bit of shade on Susan in in that the people that I I I told my friends you got someone told me about this before what I'm not I'm late to the party because you got to inform me before we talked about this the other night the other night yeah we talked about all the different kind of peace talks I remember I shared that I I like jacks which is the cheap old one no we did talk about a couple nights ago my what I'm saying is you can tell me about this last spring or last summer Hey I just found out that lots of matzah is made in Minnesota it's yeah yes it's in fact I think it was it's it's a brew pub pizza from verte telos foods so really okay so that'll be the next one on the list yeah that's awesome is it really so do you have a preference between the two yes this is for lots of matzah but the reason we only sell of cheese and they put lots of mozzarella on the cheese on the pizza it's really good what about what about the sauce though this house is good okay the sauce okay to see if this is the reason why I started thinking so much more about it I don't even know if you saw this is a but a couple weeks ago because now that we're all you know we don't have the freedom to go into what we typically do a live our lives the way that we typically do we're in the core team like right you got to be creative about what we're gonna talk about on on the internet on Twitter articles that you see on the Star Tribune Piner press I think that the Star Tribune they did arm they did a story in which they did a poll or they get a ranking list all of the best frozen pizzas and I think Haiti's came out number one and that was the reason why I was like okay I've never tried this but admittedly I've never been a frozen pizza got I am now though now I know what the go to it's at least at this point on I'll try the next okay I will put that on the day of the to do list to buy that will because initially when I was setting out the people from Baghdad tweet at me when I admitted on the air or admitted on Twitter that I had never tried it and they were lucky we kind of just twenty should get on that so I'll tweet at them maybe the most right to say I tried it and it was damn good but the bottom line is I I I'm gonna have to go ahead and tried lots must because you have told me that is really good and I've seen that one because when I went out a couple of weeks ago right when I'm made the ran errands on my Saturday run to Cassville to target to buy at least once and all that a few weeks back I went out in search of the eggs and I I was in barley's ones and I was looking for didn't come across it okay so then a week later I mean target Audi Ridgedale I see it I buy one bom I'm all over it now so I'm good to go I am now member of the squad and I love that they want to be basically up huh good squad to be a member of okay I'm on.
