"But it's very clear that particularly Jalen and Jason are not afraid of that. They do not avoid them in any way. There is nobody on the nets defense who the Celtics primary offense or creators are even trying to get away from. Like we've seen and Tatum has done this in a lot of games against claxton before where it's like he gets on him and he's like, I'm going to square you up at the three point line and shoot over you. I know you're long, but you're not rob Williams. You're not going to block this shot. And I know you're going to sag off because you're afraid of the drive and then we saw Jalen just bold Bruce Brown over on that second and last hoop in game one for the same way. It's like, they're not afraid of anybody on that defense. They're not trying to avoid anything. And meanwhile, the Celtics, as we know, just have, like, they're picking on Derek white. They're picking on a guy who was like reasonable to put on like second team all defense because that's their best option. And now they're getting rob Williams back. And it's just really, really hard for me to see how the Celtics defense doesn't just carry them over the line here, especially with starting with the two games. So that's what stood out to me. Is that like the nets are what we thought largely. And this matchup is what we thought. And it's probably been a little bit closer than the reality of what the themes are right now. Yeah, I mean, the nets they pray in their head think they should be at the collapse and game two. So I rise, but there's no question that the way Kyrie played in game one and just the play of the supporting cat. I mean, a guy like, I mean, I was kind of worried about him going to the series, but I wasn't even expecting this level of playmaking and shot making from him 18 points in 20 minutes in game two after a really solid game one. And to be honest, I'm kind of, you know, it's the teams, it's only roster slash lineup flaw that Nash can go back to him earlier because they just don't have the body to match up with the Celtics defensively, but I thought nationally being mapped for so long in the second half and literally only giving him a few minutes there was a pivotal mistake. Just based on how good he was and how much he was kind of wreaking havoc on a southern defense in the first half when Durant and Kyrie were relative no shows. Yeah, when they picked him up off when they picked him up, I.

"Play that out assuming that he's back. I think it's probably best to start him for a couple of reasons. One, it's just like that's the group that he's most familiar with and we know that things have gone well with that group and the team at hasn't been getting off to red hot starts so it's not like you're like breaking anything. So that's one reason I think it's just sort of get him out there and with the guys he's used to playing with the most and have that whole workout also. The net starting lineup has like the most natural place to put in with the way that they've been using them in the second half of the season. It's just like you go and guard Bruce Brown who's going to be in the corner and obviously got off to a very hot start last game. But he's kind of the ideal player for the way that they've been using rob a good but reluctant shooter who kind of camps out in the corner and maybe crashes the glass a little bit and some cutting and movement. But that's kind of his role on that team and he's not super threatening he comes out and sets a decent number of screens that sort of weaponizes some of the other stuff that robbed us. So if you're looking at like a playoff level player who he would sort of be naturally in defending, I think that that's a decent decent place to start where you just say like, yep, you're going to rejoin the starters, play with the four guys who you've dominated the league with. And just yeah, those minutes will then have to be short. So that's the only issue is it's like, where do you actually fit in? Let's say he's got 15 minutes like 5 minutes to start 5 minutes in the third quarter and 5 minutes somewhere in the fourth quarter. There's a lot of sort of downtime in there. But I don't know. There's no ideal way to play somebody who you wish that could you could play 35 minutes or 15 minutes, you just kind of have to you're not going to play them like two minutes here two minutes there to me. That doesn't nobody gets any rhythm. So you got to kind of just pick where you want to go. And it just seems like, yeah, stardom because that's the simplest thing to do. But it's really hard to question anything that I don't know does right now. So if he wants to play him for the last 15 minutes of the game as one full block, one of whom I had a question. I'm sure it'll work. Yeah, I mean, it's a good point in terms of and what I think we'll touch on that just more serious stuff in a little bit later. And this, but I agree. You start them there for the management purposes, the continuity purposes. And I assume, again, you can, like you said, you're not going to probably play them.

"Of NBC sports Boston and even if we weren't doing a home and home here, Chris, I have to we had to bring it back because the avalanche of rob William was positivity news since we last talked earlier this week has been Fast & Furious. It's coming from all angles right now. Is he playing tonight against Indiana? It's truly remarkable. I mean, even for me, it's been quite the roller coaster. And I told you, I was like, I was a little bit hesitant to just even before we knew about the surgery, I was on the fans. I'm glad you got me back because you caught me at my probably my low moment. We can come back to the high. Obviously woj said on his pod yesterday that there's a chance he'll come back within inside of four weeks. And like this isn't a surprise and people that have had this injury, there's been guys that have come back super quick. And is that the right path? I have no idea. I'm not a doctor. I don't know. I'm leaning on the Celtics here to steer their players in the right way. Now part of me is hesitant because of the Celtics injury history. And I think I am fearful of sacrificing anything long-term with rob, but you heard Brad Stevens on the radio this morning. He says, rob's long-term health was, as he put it, numero uno. So as long as they are sports science and everybody is on board with it, then far be it for me to get in the way because after watching that Miami game, I would like rob William back on the court as quick as possible. As if, you know, again, I always tell this people I don't root for the team because I'm like, I'm from here or because I want to see them do good. It's good for business. So I hope that rob gets back out there. There are a lot more fun to watch when he's out there. And yeah, like as long as it's as long as it is prudent and you're not rushing him into a dangerous situation. Let's do this, get him back out there..

"Coming out. And this factor in a rob Williams too of like, okay, rob Williams is going to be starting at center. I think we're that's a safe, guess. Richardson, we assume he's coming off the bench. But dickers a case to be made to split up him intruder and have shorter do that and then you have Richardson and smart as you're starting backcourt and that's probably one of the best defensive backwards in the MBA period. If you go with that in terms of on ball defense and or are they going to go big without at the fork and rob at the 5 and then play Brown and tame or the two and the three and just hopefully save the wear and tear in those guys to start to? Yeah. I hope not. I like that for there was even reports the shooter was okay with coming off the bench, right? Yeah. I can imagine that was promised to him. Right. So I mean, and Richardson, you can say this about pretty much anybody in the NBA, but Richardson is a lot better when he's playing next to the Jays. Yes. I don't think he's the kind of the kind of talent where you want to put him to lead the second unit. He's a much better as a complimentary piece. I would have said the same about fournier before he obviously much better offensively in terms of leading an offensive unit. Even though most of these units are going to have one of the JS out there at all times anyways. But if you're talking about getting what I think the max impact from Richardson, I like Marcus Richardson Jays and rob. Especially as we've said in bernardoni is set a bunch and I trust him that Al Horford can not play the four anymore in the NBA. No, I mean, not against guys that can shoot. Which is there'll be some line of which is bringing me much of it. There are some, because there are some big lineups in the east that you could say where the nicks are obviously yawns, you can put out on a Yanis for ten, 15 minutes a game. But yeah, they're only that's not a winning combination. We saw last year, the double bank in general is just not going to get the job done most days. Right. So I think Richardson where you can say to him, okay, you're going to get you're going to get a lot more open looks, obviously, when you're out there with the J's, you are the guy you and Marcus, but when it comes to maybe covering some different wings, you can step up at times and take some of the pressure off the Jays. So they don't have to expend full energy on defense while also carrying the offense. And I just think that he is best served in the Celtics are best served with him in the starting lineup. Yeah. Well, a week a month away from training, I should say excuse me. So that will be something to keep an eye on that front. "Yes, I do very well. I was thinking that. If there was ever a time that we could have reached out to them because there is a common theme recently in Celtics where all this Brad Stevens and his extends his Celtics enhancement pills. We had Marcus smart last week. Rob Williams, Richardson. Everyone's getting extended. I was texting with a friend of the show and freaking co host, ran Brandon Joni to see if there is any are there any other Celtics left on the roster, eligible to be extended? And so guess what Bruno Fernando, you're up. The four year $9 extension is coming your way in mirror hours now. But it is. Maybe Brad used all his pills. That's true. Listen, you gotta see a doctor if he is too many. So let's slow down there. But yeah, so three, three extensions here in the past week. We already talked about Marcus last week. But I'll leave it to you. Where would you want to start with rob Williams or the Josh Richardson? Rob is, I think a little bit more exciting. I think the ceiling is higher and aerobic extension. It's a little bit more. I mean, there's a lot to unpack. I read your story in mass live about the Richardson extension where everyone's sort of figuring out what to make of it. But are the details out yet on rob? They are another way. They are not. So I will start with this. I would be shocked. If the $54 million is guaranteed. And I'll start with this. I will tell you that it is not. Oh. I don't know if we call a call that exclusive. That's absolutely. I don't report this kind of thing. It's not fully Gary. It's from what I hear. I have a winning place in this game, yes. But according to winning press play sources, I have heard that it is not fully guaranteed. I'm not follow-up on that then. Right. To check out, but yeah, again, that is not a shocking development. So with that involved, if the money is not guaranteed as we both suspect or have heard, then there's little to dislike about this deal. Again, once you kind of went down that road if Marcus smart, then like the train has left the station, so why not? Yeah, and okay, like I said, a million times. If he plays, it's a win. It's undeniably a win. If he plays the way he did last year for that number. Right? And let's say he plays more games that he's hurt a little less often. If he puts up that sort of production for 13 and a half a year, that is pretty solid value. But if we're assuming he's going to continue to develop, he's going to get more comfortable. And if we can assume he would be healthy, it's a home run. Right. And so that there's a long way to go on this run for a guy who's, you.

"Of uninspiring that's fine teams can win games with an uninspiring one position as long as they're released able to give you the same thing every night. But if you want to beat the Nets maybe the Sixers the Sixers would be traditionally been a good match up because maybe you can beat them anyway, or you know, the Bucks are going to if you were to somehow make it to the finals like it's just having a wild card out there is kind of good because if you don't and you just play it straight and you're going to lose anyway, like who cares if he has a bad series and he throws the ball the way a couple of times because he's you know, the lights get a little too bright and he's not used to log. Out there. So you lose by 8 instead of 4 and it's like, you know what difference does that make but if he has a good good series and if you just sort of breaks out and has has these performances that we've seen from him then I thought maybe that wins you a game. Like you said, you know, maybe one a game in the Toronto series and that's a seven-game series and in the in a big series, maybe he does Smart sort of the same way with his shooting right like you want smart to shoot. In games where you aren't sure if you're going to win like you won the Eastern Conference Finals game against the Cavs because he was like, well, I'm just going to shoot a whole bunch and if we if they don't go in we'll get swept and if they do go in we'll lose and five and so they lost faith only one of the game just by like being like what the hell like what who else is going to take these shots. So I'm going to shoot for 3 and some of them are going to go in like that's okay that you is actually like a viable strategy if you aren't the best team, so I think you'll also brings that he brings a lot. He's really good. Like everybody can see it one of the I don't know. I don't want to ramble for too long here. But one of the things that I find funny is that I think there's a little going on right now where people are watching the video being like look he's setting better screens. He's making better defensive reads. You can do these little video break down and say look he's doing this better. And the reason he's getting playing time now is doing this and doing that. He's a good player now. Yeah, I mean, I guess that's true. I believe that Brad see some of those things that's why he's maybe giving him some more minutes but to a certain extent you can look at it statistical profile this year versus last three meetings at the same same wage. The same block rate you got the same steel rate to the same assist rate. Is that the same turn of right? Like he's getting a few more offensive rebounds and he's taking a couple more shots, like literally like one more shot in game because he has players who are slightly better at throwing a lot to.

"He's an outrageously gifted player on the offense just looks different when he's out there, you know coming in. He was Defensive Player of the Year and his conference and the shop blocks and the Steals and all that are are still there in, Georgia. Really sort of incredibly high high volume on on both blocks and steals but I think what showed last year in in the bubble is that he's a really gifted offensive player who just helps everybody else. There aren't enough players on the team who helped everybody else on offense, which is something that's been a popular thing that's been talked about lately about how Jay Leno Jason are sort of natural Playmakers and Kemba isn't a Chris Paul style point guard. You can put Robin Williams out there and he has a 15% usage and it just everything seems easier regardless turns the ball over a little too much, you know is a good passing instincts that get a lot of assists doesn't have a lot of usage you sort of think like well that player shouldn't make everything that much easier on everybody but he just create space on a team that doesn't naturally create a lot of space off and and I think there's like a ton of value in that and just sort of giving everybody a little bit of breathing room and entice create space in his own ways. And that's really I think largely what you get down. The difference we talked about defense and about switching and who the matchups are and all that but a lot of it is like twice. He's not a great 3-point shooter, but he will shoot the three and he creates and he's a good passer on the short hole and Rob we know what she does on offense and Tristan just doesn't really do a whole lot on offense and the things that he does do even when the ball goes in are generally negative things. You don't want to build your team around Tristan Thompson baby hookshot posts all the time, and he doesn't really do anything else on that end and with and that's why you need to create minutes for for Rob. It's because he just even though he doesn't touch the ball that often his simple presence greases the wheels for everybody else. Right and I think when you just look at the complexion of this team.

"But but I guess like if you know the Bane's if you think bank is going to be okay in that third man role and obviously is going to be better than anything you read in the street and you I guess you do have that salary for trade purposes if you need to use it in the offseason, like if you need to pick up that option just to make the money we're going to do but you also the TV so that shouldn't be necessary. Anyway. Yeah, I literally think of it is just like getting back out of the deal basically saying like if you could undo it and get can't hear back would you and like I don't really want Cantor back either but in the grand scheme of things, it's like I just dead. Really want a 9 and 1/2 million dollar third Center next year. Now if you think like if you look at the market you say that Tysons going to make fifteen million dollars and Tristan Thompson to be my backup center next year. Then that's fine. You could keep him and just move forward thinking that ties is going to be gone. Like none of these things are like needle movers by any means right? It's just you can look at it and depending on what you think about Daniel theis and what you think the market is going to play and in the off-season it would be completely reasonable to me that they could make a move like that. That would just seem like nothing. Okay. Why did you bother with that? I'd be like, yeah. I know. I mean I get it it's fine. Whatever. I understand why they would do it off and so from that like that's where we are with Tristan Thompson though right now. I think we're it's like he's not playing poorly. He's not playing great. It's just kind of too much on the roster. You want to rebalance it and sometimes you rebalance by making a trade that everybody sort of shrugged ranked every trade that Danny Ainge is made right some of them you look at and you just want to shrug in you're like, yeah. I mean, I was fine. I get it and there's not not a whole lot more to it than that. Right, and I guess it's it's printed two for now. I think we're anything else is standpoint of like this is this is a one obvious area to address the next 10 days. Like like we said waiting to the offseason do this if you have out now whether that's Toronto weather, that's another.

"From Well first off. Do we look at the center one thing that says could do here and this is where I look at their assistance for this year as fascinating right now Ryan is like having a three-headed monster a center does make sense for diversity Thursday and point you can you know, give Thompson and tice nights off as the games pile up here and keep everyone kind of fresh and the injury backup situation would obviously you'd be in a better spot if you keep all three there, but if you're going to lose one of those two guys next year anyway, and you're not making the roster better to contend in the present does it make sense Jeep all three of those guys for the rest of the season like knowing what's what's probably going to come this offseason? Probably not. I mean we were talked on the preseason about how it didn't necessarily make sense to have all of them and that off depending on sort of how the season played out and where they needed to get help and what Rob showed that it may very well be that one of Thompson or Thomas gets moved. I think one thing that has happened in the last couple of weeks is that you would have to get somebody like dead. Really seriously good in order to trade Rob at this point and I I don't know. I mean it's possible but I don't it doesn't seem likely so you left with the other two and I do agree that like having three centers is a necessity. They you know Thompson if he's willing to be a third Center is is totally fine at that option. Like you don't want to be paying a third Center 9 and 1/2 thousand dollars next year. But for this year, it's not you know, it's fine if he's okay getting d m p. Sometimes. I don't know that likes playing one or two rotations and and all that like kind of a problem with needing guys to rest them needing depth at every single position. But yeah, I think the question really is like if you could trade him and then go and sign norvel Pelle, right? Like just somebody who's tall and is off somewhat reliable and has a little bit of NBA experience. It's going to understand that there are third Center. Would that make your team any worse? I don't really think it would particularly with you know, getting back to health and having more options on the wing in the backcourt. So.

"As much matchups as it is just like the flow of the game right some guys some nights guys. Have a good day and some they have a bad day you get a little banged up from an injury, you get foul trouble, whatever it might be and it's nice having a third Center who you can rely on the problem is trying to dead. Play them all like their second centers, right and they sort of all get back up Center sort of rotations and minutes instead of having anybody established as a as your top guy and a second and third who is an ideal. Your third guy would be e d m p s and things like that and that's just not the way that it's working at the moment. So yeah, I mean to me, it's Thompson's pretty clearly there are their matchups that come to mind for you cuz people think of them as I sort of think of him as the bulky one became Thompson are because Robin and tice are not super, you know, they're not sort of thought of as like post bachelor's and on the defensive end really obviously Thompson sort of made his name as more of a almost a switch Center off. So I'm not sure what the matchup would be where you would want him over at the other two is this is there, you know ones that come to mind for you where you're like Thompson's the guy against somebody I don't know all those matchups have not you know fairly. Well this year. I feel like we're going to be like, okay. Yeah like Thompson vs MB that's your best option that match up like that. He was roasted just as much as anyone in that job. And then you isn't that Thompson's a good match up for that is that you're just worried that the other two are bad matchups, right? It's like the worst two, but then it's when his when you look at that match up and you're like, okay Thompson is about you much more defensively than either of those guys would and then on top of that your offense is so much worse than when he's on the floor based on compared to those other two guys. So that's I think that's just the Tristan Thompson problem. That is emerging. Here is his D. I know whether again it's only half it's halfway through season. Now, it's defense has gotten I think slightly better but the switching the switch ability that I think a lot of us came to expect from him kind of fallen off as he's, you know, reached his 30s here and with that aspect of his game. He's not a great defensive rebounder. He's a great officer your honor, but he's you know, his size is a known issue in down low. And so if he's not making bunnies and he's not kicking me out to guys for three's then again unless he's becoming you know, his energies at a high level for certain night your birth. The the the cons outweigh the pros compared to I think the other two sensors on the roster a lot nights guess maybe the kind of player who you would like him against in this a little bit counterintuitive..

Boston Celtics vs Houston Rockets Highlights

"Is a cakewalk. This is fun. This is get you get you right feeling about yourself sort of game kind of got the makings of start of one of those tough like this almost felt like that Toronto game right before the break wear like there's no earthly reason why they should wage. Close yet. It was Houston was making everything Celtics D wasn't great a lot of open threes and then literally just Houston just flipped the off switch and that way that was literally off during the second quarter sharrod there like yep work done. And that would be it Celtics run who was over. Yeah. I mean at some point they realized that wait a minute. Where the Houston Rockets right? Yeah, we're not that good. What the hell are we doing here? This is this is screwed up our chances to get a number one pick Let's just kill Pat and just play the way we can play off. I'll say this is what the Celtics I thought the one thing that they did that frustrated the hell out of me from the jump was the two bigs line of and then I'm not taking advantage of that either player wings and beat the crap out of these guys. They use those two bags and beat them to death around the rim and it over as a game progressed. They started training in that direction was great to see but but very outside I was really frustrated at this game because I knew he's multiple clear advantages and they were just like nah, we're just going to just come run around for a little bit and just let them get their shots off and then at some point before half-time we'll figure out where they do better team and play like it. Well, yeah, and so should I tell you I doubt you've you know, I don't know how many of these you've ever watched or gotten any whiff of anything we do, but if you don't stop me, I'm going to talk about Rob Williams for twenty five straight minutes log. It's just it's just what I do. So what was interesting tonight when they did go away from the two big lineup they went to a clearly a one big lineup and that rotation. I'm going to talk about Rob Ad nauseam in a dog cuz he had a near perfect game tonight. And again Houston was totally undermanned. But I don't know that you can do anything better than rub what Rob Williams did it tonight? But it was interesting that Tyce was the guy who was kind of thing on the outside here. There's some games that should happen. Yeah, I think if if you're going to go with the two big line of years is is just a real radical thought how about just plain to Biggs. I think one of the problems that Brad has he's trying to play all three of those guys every night and there's some nights we're ties I think should be out there and maybe less Rob and less trust and sometimes I've been more Tristan sometimes I think more bread has to figure out of those three which to do. I need to have their asses on a core more than not and tonight was a clear example where you have a team that is under man and under talented as a Houston Rockets go with the young fellow wage. You're running for and swipe anything within five feet of the rim, and he did that and it worked out exceptionally. Well, and again Rob Williams, we've always talked about the potential but what we're seeing now is consistency on top of the potential. That's why he's out there playing more and that's why if the Celtics are ever going to break through that top three upper echelon in the East Rob Williams going to be a big part of that. Well, what is interesting. This is the first one in Jimmy. I want your thoughts to this is the first game I came down. I got to go back where Rob had the most minutes now very well could be an asteroid makes a good point. I mean why why playoff games every game cuz we've seen Brad get away from it with at other positions like he goes games without playing semi, he goes games. Playing Nesmith Teague. I am not saying that theis is really like on that Teague level. Obviously, it's not they are talented players to the point where you want to try to get them in but there are games where you gotta ride the hot hand and it's been robbed lately and we need to see more and more and more and and obviously me and John have been banging that drum for What fields Month now but it's starting to see it like Rob's getting in the game more like you should but he's staying in for the reasons that we've seen tonight some of the passes he was making on guys cut into the rim or they're the tip like like that alley-oop to him. That was like a not a great pass like the touch that he has around the rim now the little turns a little floaters like that's why he's staying in the game. It's not just because he can go up a trip down boards and block shots. And I mean even some of the blocks and they were like controlled blocks when he was actually like blocking it and then grabbing it and you know, making the outlet pass

Celtics Trade Rumors: Nikola Vucevic

"Do have interesting trade rumors. We didn't want to wait till after to get to them and they involve a bunch of big names that we've been kicking around on the thread on the on the live streams all of this time some really big fish out there. The Celtics are supposedly in on so we'll go Name by name. But again, this is Shams very plugged in the Athletic Club throwing out vucevic throwing out Jeremy Grant throwing out Harrison Barnes. These are all enticing names and honestly those three plus there and Gordon are probably the big fish house on the market Garden Of course dealing with the sprained ankle. So teams are wait and see there but those are the big names out there. We've been hearing them all the time. I'm going to start with Bobby's boy boo Savages. Part of that report was that it's going to be a massive Hall that we've been debating on all day Bobby what that actually entails but first this you turned on this guy meaning turned back towards this guy as Gore guy tell us why tell us what you think what you'd be willing to give up here for the Celtics to get it done. So I was never the biggest fan him and the sticks were previously invested in him during that Kemba Walker offseason. They were hot on him cuz they had the max cap space after Kyrie and Mortadella could have filled him down the middle. So there's a connection there. Obviously Kemba came along and grab that bone. Now, you have the chance to have four All-Stars on the team of chemicals affect them. They hated it. Yeah, and I still don't love it now, but I think context is everything you don't have cap space forever now wage only so many ways you can improve in the future. So why not grab the best player available? And I think out of all the options were going to talk about today. This guy's an All-Star. He pushes 30 points a game on many birth. It's eye dominant. Rebounder. Probably one of the best rebounders in basketball this year defense. We'll see I think it's all situational but he's kind of a disaster down there in Orlando defensive or a that could change in Boston and the three-point shot by zone is the best 3-point shooter above the break and basketball this year. So that's perfect in Boston pick-and-pop off and he'd get open shots above the are called a there he can post up he's seven feet. I know people will love that. He's a real big so he just give them a bunch of different options and outlets for offense and size that they don't have right now and this is what I love about and to John if they can find a way to clear types in a potential deal here clear Thompson in a game here and you're left with Rob and bukovic. See the dream. That's the dream. So look at it this way though. If you're the other team coming back, your don't want to take on Thompson or Thai so, you know, Rob is automatic berth. Certainly, if you're going to go big, you know to go get somebody else's big. I don't see any world in which you make a trade really any trade at this point in Rob Williams is still a Celtic. So anybody at home saying do do it do it I think has to get used to kind of giving up on their Binky which is Rob Williams, which is going to be hard for a lot of Celtics fans to be able to live with that.

Recap: Celtics Beat Hawks in Game 2, Robert Williams Explodes

"To the thing that was more interesting and remarkable off of this game. And again, I think it was I think it's hard to argue. It wasn't robbed fans. He was just so interesting. But I mean that stretch where it's basically like steel block back door make a nice pass dunk l u and like Bobby tweeted about it from the Celtics account, you know, the game went to From mildly competitive to a blowout during those Rob Williams second quarter minutes there and that was basically the ball game, but the guys just so freaking elected. He probably had like eleven fouls tonight. I think he only got called for 4 or so before he got going on the set. You just talked about he wrapped up capella and like one of the first place of the second I Tice took another fellow from him. I'm sure sure you get that and then there was a third player like wrapped up reddish. So by halftime he had six fouls, but they only call three and then by the end of the night he got away with another one. We were going re fellow there. So realistically he realistically at $8,000 I wouldn't do it. So that was the most unfortunate game and the Exact Staffing was at the start of that structure was 33 to 24 and then at the end after all his dunks and layups and Steals and box that was 51 the 37 and that was pretty much the game. Dude was awesome. And it's funny because we always talk about let's just see the Celtics just love it up there. Right just throw it to Rob and let's see what happens and then he does like the most Rob like we knew he was capable of this sort of athleticism incredible man. Like that was caught it tapped. It one-handed in his hand eye coordination is just through the roof. Yeah, like that's the kind of play where you're like, wait a minute. Like if not that it's not one of those. Okay, if he does it every single night as well change everything but like just that open opportunity if he's able to get more comfortable get these reps in man like that. It just opened my eyes to how how explosive this office could truly be when with Rob in the middle of doing what he did. He was doing everything on both ends something like he was somebody tweeted it jokingly just way to your point was like, I wonder what this offense would look like if they just robbed if they just loved it to rub on every possession, you know, it's like legit and we always joke like that but like he made it look so smooth as well. Wait a minute. Why don't we do that more often wage? And also here is you do see the other side though, the ridiculous goaltending all the files were so like absurd and he easily could have ended up taking himself out of this one and having a game. So you do see both sides of the debate here where there's just an enormous level of upside. But also these like just absurd things. He does that you just can't do out there that end up getting them home games and you only had 16 minutes in this one in the end because of all the following and mistakes and miscues. He jumped into a couple of Shooters on the three-point line and it's like you're right John there's more good than bad. But the bad is so bad like just inexcusable stuff.

Rob Williams is killing it right now

"Second straight night. Rub williams clamoring for him to start. I didn't think that was going to happen. But with thompson out it made sense. They weren't going to go with the two big lineup. They started teague we even theorized maybe pritchett started teague again. Played a good game. Bob is gonna have to apologize for that and a little bit. Couple shocking gene goes. I mean look at this. I mean we're not talking about teague. I'm just kidding. Saw four points. He was feisty So rob william steals again insanely efficient minutes again and it's now it's literally everything i mean short of a jumper which doesn't have even though when he does take in his form looks perfectly fine when he's forced to in his free throws stroke looks actually pretty good but again the playmaking is unreal for this guy on offense and again ofo is something all of it. There's so many. He had so many almost assists tonight As well he was he just has great vision. He such an asset. And everyone's talking about you know I mean right now. There's a real conversation to be. There's two conversations be. We're going to start with one and ep. Is he the best player in the league question. No real but questioned one again. We we've always said at the beginning it's going to be a matchup specific sort of thing with these guys you depending on. Who's out there. I don't know that that's the case anymore. Tell me a situation where you don't feel like rob williams can be on the floor right now. Well anthony davis was one that bobby mentioned earlier. Well hey anthony but are we going to have those dogs burger bowl kierra. Opponents joel embiid. You'd rather not have him yet. Isolated on and you. Don't that happen. Yeah so like there's a few but you're right if you have him with the starters with the regulars on this team who can help them out on the defensive end when he needs it and of course empower on offense. It also goes back the other way. We talked about this last night. The secondary passing the diving to the rim. I would they keep talking about on the broadcast tonight. Stevens keep saying the vertical gravity up the posed. The guys back toward the rim. Because it's like the opposite loose all the new stat. Will they love it. Well the game. This is what. I thought about last year two with that team. That was so poll. Pappy if you had the sky diving off all those po ups like it just basket after basket for him easily. Because of how efficient is how high above the rim gets. It's just the one thing that still missing is that switching at the perimeter. Play getting out on shooters that can devastate you. The way game swing on threes. I still see why. Brad has that little bit of hesitancy with them their raving everything else is there and the term is role gravity. The kids love it okay. I'm old gravity. Yeah we're just bond you on the league leaders by tomo by tomorrow. But i mean basically. It's you're so you're so concerned the same way shooter will draw attention on the floor. He's going to draw it because everybody's freaking out when he's rolling because no one wants to get no one wants to get it thrown down. You have to account for it. You're not gonna you're running. That role with grant williams. There's no fear you run it with rob williamsburg like whoa and everybody's gotta worry and it. Does you can see the defense. Start to tense up. Every single time they run the high pick and roll and he starts to move. It does kind of draw a lot of attention. You saw few times tonight where it was kind of packed in because everyone's like oh they're going up and over me here in his ability to just go up and get it and just frigging ram it down you know. Nobody wants to be in that position so it does Open things up there and it does of it causes the defense to

"Sad, you're just like man I mean Paul Dougherty the, other day doc on basically said do you care Bengals season starting the worst thing that you can say is I don't care I. Think is worse I think you gotta go in with some. Degree of optimism you have. To be realistic you have to know that they're certain things that are never going to change with the franchise and. This and that but I think, as I've said you've could look at some of the potential positives and get a degree. Of optimism Lisa's how do I think it sucks especially doing. This every day if I gotta go, in, with like oh it's going to be terrible incident that. That's no good I. Can't do it it's not good. For my life seven four nine seven thousand. Eight hundred pounds seven hundred on AT and t. your thoughts on the, season coming up Sheila. Your first step what? Are you thinking my take on the Bengals I I'm going to go at thirteen and three this year thirty three. Thirteen, and thirty Andy Dalton all run run and more touchdown and he's ever had. In a season Well what was? A two thousand fifteen was the stats in front of me that was arguably his his best season he played very. Well, and, look a lot of last year, he was looking at getting killed right And so he was gun shy and look everyone knows it's no secret he's not a guy that's going to lift the rest of, the team on his shoulders and succeed in, spite of them he needs a lot of things working well and when a lot when the lines going well. Providing them time and there's a. Lot of weapons around him he can be a sufficient quarterback and I hope. That happens this year absolutely but I I. Think Marvin Lewis I think he's mingle tied Jonathan Marvin Lewis came in and it was like he was just. Bingo-type any control or his at all All right well Sheila the thirteen and three I got about Some money up I'll bet you. On that. One a Greg How. Are you, feeling, about the Bengals I feel pretty good about I mean there's you know what they showed, a lot of promise last year they make some great mood and then. We got the offensive line coach. From Dallas Greg I'm, sorry to. Interrupt, you but. The point you. Just made the offensive line coach there's people around. That team that are saying they tell me this. Was the best free agent acquisition they had. This whole forget the players. Forget cordy Glenn forget okay Billy price. That's all good but this is the most impactful off season, change this club is made and I couldn't agree more I was never a fan of. Of Alexander I thought he was he? He didn't teach the things. The mentality, I, believe that you? Need to be a great offensive. Line which, is to nasty and firing, out and coming off the ball and taking the fight He was. More of an occupy college kind of way of. Blocking and by all accounts this dude is. The real deal hopefully hopefully. It works out so your thoughts seven.
