But you know, you realize that it's a part of culture where we're literally in people's heads right now. Listening to us. Hello, we're in your air. We're in your ear. We're stuck in there for 20 minutes. I really enjoy them. I used to love radio. I still love the radio, but the radio you have to tune into at certain times, with podcasts. It's like a streaming service. It's like on demand, I can listen to my Friends, people who I think are my Friends. I'm not really friends with all these people. But in my head, like when did you say is that all the time? In my head, I'm Friends with these people. With the queen of England. Yes. I love listening to podcasts. I think this is a great idea Wendy. The other thing too and let's be honest, podcasts you can do in your pajamas, so Wendy, if you're sick of all that hair and makeup and all that cheesy stuff. So if you're not unfamiliar, Sex and the City reboot came back last week and literally they killed off mister big in the first episode because he was on a peloton bike, and he had a heart attack. Of course, everybody over the weekend was like, how come peloton would do that? How would they allow something like that? So late last night, peloton put out a response ad featuring mister big Chris north. It looks like a scene from Sex and the City, asking if she wants to go for another ride, very Sex and the City asks. And then Ryan Reynolds comes in with a voice-over talking about the positive effects of doing a peloton bike ride and how it's good for your heart. And at the end he goes, he's alive and that's it. And that's his response. So it's I think we all got played personally. I think we all know there's a lot of talk about it today, particularly people that work in show business. Could they shoot that commercial that quickly? Yes. Or did they know about this? Was this a mechan all along? Mister biggest is certainly the winner here Chris not because he not only got paid for one episode of sex from the city, but he also got paid now for a huge commercial as well. I'm gonna poke about this all day. I'm not convinced that this wasn't genuine. I think it actually was a response. I think the peloton knew their bike was going to be involved in Sex and the City, but they didn't know the storyline, and that's often the case with product placement. There's even a story today in The New York Times of all places fancy pants, asking could peloton sue for defamation and there is actually a legal precedent that if you defame somebody's product, you can, you can possibly say. I was supposed to see misses doubtfire two years ago. It was literally the show that I got for Christmas gift for my wife Alan. And we were going to go see, he gave it to her that December, and then that COVID thing came into bout and it shut down misses doubtfire. And we were super excited about it. So now that, you know, the theater is open. Misses doubtfire is back on stage. I can not wait to go see it. I'm so glad you said that. You're gonna love it. Or unless you gotta crouch down. Like i normally have to crouch down and then throw them up in the air and hopefully catch them when they fall back savannah.

"To do a bit of an entertainment year in review. I'm joined now by DeLana Dixon, editor in chief at diva gals daily dot com. She's also a guest host on the naughty but nice with rob Shooter podcast, which he confined, of course on her radio DeLana. Thanks so much for taking a few minutes to talk to us about this and look back at the year and entertainment in 2020, and I think the first place to start is going all the way back to January of this year and the big news involving member Of the royal family. Oh my goodness, The biggest story of the year and definitely about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle because they actually stepped down from the royal family. Now, back in January, they basically said If we're out on what that meant, is that they were going to lose their Royal Highness titles. They were no longer going to accept the money. Any public money from London? They had to pay back $3 million that they used to refurbish their capital out in London. So one of the reasons why they wanted to do this is because Circle. They wanted to make their own money. But secondly, they had been under such scrutiny now. Obviously, Prince Harry, he married an American. She's divorced. She's a person of color and they got so much and God for that. Meghan actually did an interview where, she said now remember, he used to be on a show called Suits on USA Network. She's used to being in the public eye, but she said, I didn't realize it was going to be this intense. And the negative, so don't worry about them. They're doing fine. They've moved to the United States, their living as very exclusive county and Santa Barbara. They live in Montecito. Their standard. Their famous neighbor is Oprah. They're not doing too bad for themselves and for money. Well, you know what they signed a production deal with Netflix, which is estimated at about $100 million so buried. You're okay. They're gonna be producing content. So now they're they're here and you know, from what we hear. Harry is very interested in getting his American citizenship and becoming a U. S. A. U S citizens and they're just enjoying their time with their son, Archie and living the American life. Here's the thing Clearly, since they have a deal with Netflix. They know what Netflix is. Really Well, you know that the crown is pretty much in a third season and from what we hear you are not going to see anything on Prince Terrien Meghan Markle because they had a little comfort. So you're not going to see that they're obviously you know, Lifetime did a couple of movies about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and people are really interested in finding out more about them. But I can pretty much guarantee you They're not going to be doing a reality show, you know, alive with Meghan and Harry and Archie from month. Speedo.
