"Love how bad this movie is. Was this your first time? No, absolutely not. No, I had seen this movie plenty of times before. But I always like in my mind, I always thought, oh man, that's such a bad movie, but it's like an enjoyable bad movie. Watching it again, I'm like, no, this is straight up fun. But almost not on purpose. I don't know. There's something about it that's so charming and just awkward. It's hard to draw the line between what was awkward on purpose and what was awesome. The story was written in such a weird way and the set design is so weird and they put them in a bunch of tires as his outfit, I don't know. This movie I always, I kind of confused sometimes with another movie where Stallone plays a cop aided by Rob Schneider judge dredd. Another great movie that's also awkwardly good, but bad. I don't know. Everything about this, I love to watch, even though it's not good. And I don't know, I don't have a good way to describe it. It's like the goodness and badness of it are almost like an M.C. Escher drawing where you can't tell if it's going up. It's complimentary, it's endearing. I will watch this every time. This is a movie that if it comes out and I'm going to watch demolition man. And I feel like it's one of those that has a cult following for that reason. Yeah. But yeah, everything about this movie is fun. It's weird. It's just a weird movie. It's magnificently weird and weird in a good way. Yeah. But not like a Charlie and the Chocolate Factory weird. I can't look away. I don't know. It's so hard to put into words why I like this movie. It's strange. To wear this kind of falls into one of those, is this a bad movie? Is this a good movie? It's that perfect gray area. It's that perfect little valley of the score goes down enjoyment sort of goes up for a little bit and then it goes skyrockets down. This is on that upswing. It would be a weird Venn diagram of like campy satire over the top 80s action like comedy and then like a typical Stallone movie. This movie is in a weird area where they all meet and make a good movie. Yeah. It's a weird Venn diagram that you would have to make for this movie. A hundred percent, yeah. And it has like the action elements like the Stallone shoot them up cop. But it's in like this weird sterile comical environment where he's not allowed to have a gun. Yeah. And they could not use that hefty hefty hefty would be of the whippy line in the commercial that made it seem that glad bags were wimpy. But in the radio ad, which did not reference glad in that sort of back and forth about hefty hefty hefty and wimpy wimpy wimpy, it was okay. It was just the tagline it was puffy. So here the context of the price comparison claim and then the trade dress of wimpy being looking like a glad bag was enough to transform that tagline into a comparative performance claim. These are just the ones we were used to that. Some people in Hollywood especially were leading the charge, saying that they might be adding to our Children with autism, for example, So in 2021 Gavin Newsom has a covid vaccine mandate. But in 2019 he was against school vaccine mandates for kids. And from there, I fell into one of those wormholes. Oh, boy. Yeah, it would just get deeper and deeper. And I started reading about all the Hollywood celebrities that supported RFK Jr and Gavin Newsom and they included people like Jessica Biel, Kristin Cavallari, Alicia Silverstone, Jenny McCarthy, Jim Carey, Rob Schneider, Toni Braxton, Selma Blair. Jenna Elfman, Danny Master said who I think is now involved in his own scandal of me to think. And they were all against vaccine mandates. The waving And and it's like people are just look, I understand that I get it. People have been negatively affected by this disease. I'm not sure that he meant to have people stormed the capital. Aside from all that the big issue here is censorship in the United States are your lot, professor. You're gonna have to handle this stuff with your students here. Somebody make you go to class again here for a second. Isn't this a super dangerous time Number one and number two. Isn't this gonna fall back hard on the tech companies at the end of the day? The end of the day. I agree with you. I think it will fall back hard is a dangerous time. And they you know, to use the cliche. They jumped the shark. The jump. The shark moment came from Amazon. Because on the heels of Google and Apple, removing this app parlor from their stores, Amazon kicked them off of the cloud server. Now there, there is a level of censorship. We have never seen They deep platform this company and it appears as though these tech companies conspired together. To harm competitors way We all know what that's called. Over his social media profile and his political positions that this kind of stuff is unacceptable UN American and shouldn't be happening. So s So Is there any Is there any legal recourse stamps that I get that I think that there is I mean, a lot of people say, Well, there can't be because the judiciary is corrupted. Yeah, I do think we're in danger of the Supreme Court being corrupted, becoming a rubber stamp. But at the local levels there, there are there literally. Hundreds of new judges that were appointed over the last four years, and the courts still had a degree of integrity. As long as we stay away from that. Hawaiian judge who seems to want to determine US policy, But I think there will be a lot of legal recourse for these where they overplayed their hands where the tech companies have overplayed their hands. It's a debate on, for example, the Twitter keeping up the Ayatollah Khamenei keeping up the president of Iran, uh, keeping up really, in many cases, hardcore pornography, at least until they could pull it down. And to permanently banned the president. The question, of course, is. Is this really a private company? I think some courts they're gonna wrestle with that. Because section 2 30 gives them government subsidies and because really, in a way, particularly the Amazon case. That is like saying, Okay, You know, we don't like rusty nails joke, So we're gonna cut off if I had a nickel every time I heard that can you imagine, and we cut off his electrical power? See, that's the kind of thing that the Amazon cloud Shit decision is like well after the war, that we're looking at things that appear like utilities. I think the stronger the arguments will be and remember, we're talking about civil lawsuits and civil lawsuits have a lower threshold, a lower standard of proof that's not being under reasonable doubt.
