Press secretaries never comment on the previous press secretary and the current one and I've respected that I haven't responded to Jenna reacted to her. But she crossed the line today. She chose to bring me into this. So, Jen, you want to know about my qualifications. Joining the military and wearing the uniform of this amazing countries remains one of my greatest decisions in life. For 22 years, I've had the honor of serving alongside some of the most talented, patriotic and brave. Individuals this country has to offer. I'm a proud graduate of the U. S. Naval War College. I've done multiple tours and politics has never entered into my service. I've served under five different presidents of both parties. When you wear the uniform you serve the commander in chief. We take an oath as officers to the Constitution, not to a party. Each of us chooses how we're going to serve this country. I won't ever questioned how anyone chooses to do that. I won't question how you choose to do that, Jen. But don't you dare ever minimized or question my service to this nation. You got it. There are some people would say I was the greatest local government official in state history. Some people would say that there's some would say it was the worst chamber fours when you got together when the City County Council Brown's, we got together with their protest. Where their demonstrations where their people shouting vulgarities and things of that nature in Brownsburg that ever happened to ever witnessed that. Oh, yeah, I was called a Nazi and a Hitler and all some words I can't stay on the air. Really? Yeah, it was. It was an organized. Were there more than one person was there more than one person saying that depending on the cause, Yes, nice. I don't know if you're aware of this, but I bring out both the best and worst in people. I've only seen the bathroom that now we only had to kick in all the years because I believed in freedom of speech. And people have the right to come and tell. Tell your government what they're doing as long as you behave yourself. We don't have to kick one person out ever in the four years I was there. Yeah. Do another guy? Oh, yeah. Okay, We better better. We better move on. Then there's a reason why I'm asking you this because we have some audio from last night's City County Council. In Indianapolis in the City County Council voting on mayor Hogs that $3 Million Crime prevention plan, which by the way, just just as a side note here, it's really sad and it's scary, and we have been starting segments off like this. It seems like daily 11. More people being shot. Two more people being killed in Indy over the last 24 hours. 11 people shot 22 people killed but rest easy Indy help is on the way relief should be kicking in towards the end of the year. If you hunker down as our governor would say, just for a few more months, the Indy Council voted boss Hogg sets $3 million crime plan through Last night. They're treating it like it's a sidewalk repair. I mean, it's uh, yeah, we'll get to that in October. Yeah, No. Your sidewalk is gonna be fixed. Meanwhile, the crime the homicides are on record pace, uh, out. Outpaced last year. Um, you know, while by the way, they also shot down in the City County Council shut down the F O. P s proposed plan to take immediate action. They had several steps. That were on the table that they could do right away to alleviate the problem of crime and violence in the city, and they voted that down partisan lines. Is it safe to say at this point based on the actions the past several years repeatedly That the City Council and the mayor's office both have great disdain for many of the police officers in the city. Why it seems like it. I mean, look what happened with the Aaron Bailey shooting. Those officers were cleared twice, three times to multiple committees and wooded, Hogg said, have to say about that he kept after kept doing it. What happened after the first day of riots last summer. A mayor came out and said he stood with the protesters. It was on their side and and through the police under the bus for the way they responded to the riots. It does seem like that a little bit, And it's such a weird thing because There doesn't seem to be the same level of disregard and disdain for, say firefighters or Mt. Workers. So what is it about police officers that has this council and this mayor who they need to solve this problem? If you operate from the standpoint, they actually want to solve it. Why do they have such different feelings in such disdain for law enforcement? So you have 11 people shot two people killed while their debate debating last night on this, you know proposition for the F O P for gunshot detection package and and Also a measure to hold repeat violent gun criminals in custody of simplifying a little a little bit, But they you know, as 11 people were being shot and murdered last night, they were voting. These actions you can take immediately down. I mean, it's It's not just the F O. P in Rick Snyder pounding their chest and and saying, We need to do something they know they have solutions well, and that's really important point because hawks that gets a lot of the blame as he should. The council gets a lot of blame as they should. But Ryan mirrors American County prosecutors a big part of this problem, and he always seems to skate in these Things well, because he's going to allow people to have low levels of weed now without following through and prosecuting them all. What a great guy. He stinks of his job night. He he is, in many ways directly responsible for much of what we're seeing the revolving door of the criminal justice system. These low bonds, these these violent offenders getting right back out on the streets and committing More acts of violence and you know it affects the African American and minority communities, the most. That's who it affects the innocent victims of these repeat offenders get out on these low but level bonds. Are are minorities overwhelmingly, and I'd say those policies of letting people out of like that are Racists and really would well in any regards to Ryan mirrors being prosecutors a tough job because you got so much jail space. You got so many people. You got to try to make some calls, and I'm not saying it's an easy job. But time and again, we have seen violent offenders allowed back out on the street for a host of reasons. And ultimately that responsibility in many ways in cases rest at the prosecutor's office. So it's an interesting dynamic last night because while okay $3 million crime plan, half of that goes to the I m p d. I'm not against it, but I am for taking measures immediately. This won't even start. We won't even see residual effects from this until the end of the year. At least, um, so the dynamic there was. People were wanting the f O p E. And there, um, proposition to put be passed through that got voted down. There are also people there that were mad that they were going to pass through the $3 million crime prevention plan at all the BLM protesters Money to fight crime passed last night despite multiple Jackson's a disturbance of the City county meeting last night. Let's go. Let's just here a couple of pieces of audio here. This is from a BLM to fund the police lady. I don't know what her name was, but apparently the speaker before her Had said. Look, if there's crime if I get assaulted, Who am I going to call the Ghostbusters and here is how this woman responded, Um, I I do want to talk about the previous speaker that was up here. Don't know your name. Really don't care to. Um you're you're speaking from a place of privilege. When you say Who are you going to call Ghostbusters? I'd rather call them are calling Jesus than to call in PD. Cause I'm every speed shot. So that's all I'm gonna say about that. So you I mean, obviously very disrespectful and not willing in any way, shape or form to pay attention. Anybody else else's perspective. Um, nines. Let me say this real quick to defend the police, you know, abolish the police. Well, I've always know you. You always know at a council meeting of any sort that when people in the audience start fighting with each other that you've completely lost control. Of the situation. Oh, so that would lay at the feet of op? Yes, because President of the Council you are there to address the council. Your comments are to the council not to other citizens, as their job is also to address the council. It's a in this case City Council meeting. If we thank you guys from the bottom of the heart every day for what you do, and I really Really appreciate it didn't expect to get this is emotional. But this week, of course, it was a tough week for and it's not about me. It's not about my family showed up the officer that lost his life in terror Ho but really, thank you for what you guys do and are doing. There is something else that I feel like this went under the radar because you made a press release kind of before the fourth of July, going into the weekend last weekend about road rage and interstate shootings. And how they are on the rise and how concern concerning it is for the, um not only for the police officers, Indiana state police, but for for civilians as well. I'd like you to kind of maybe revisit that that press release of what you had to say about it. You know, Nigel, it's It's an interesting the evolution that we've witnessed because I've been in Indiana State trooper for almost 19 years. And I was just recently speaking with my commander who has about the same time on and and we say back when we patrol the roads. Both of us have administrative jobs now, but I don't remember responding to calls that started as road rage that led to gunfire, and unfortunately, it's become common now. It's become so common that we've had almost I mean over 30 Shootings on Indianapolis area Interstates interstates. We're not talking the city streets, um, that most m from road rage. And it just there was another one That happened on fourth of July weekend. Um, what happens usually, is it somebody getting cut off in the flash A gun or its aggressive driving, is it? Uh, you know the middle finger is I mean, what? What You see a pattern here. It's terrifying to think that somebody could make a simple mistake while driving that maybe you didn't see that car near blind spots. And the result could be gunfire. The first and foremost, we're asking people do not engage in road rage. Even if you're the the person who may be, uh, accidentally cut somebody off and now you're aggravated because somebody's tailgating you Don't engage in any type of road rage because you don't know who that person isn't that other vehicle and their motivation may be a lot different than than just to flip you off or give some gestures. It's uh um Terrifying to think that that they think the answer is the fire gun from their car at your car. And if you are in a situation like that, if you are being tailgated, I I remember a couple years ago, driving home on 65. And I saw an erratic driver. Just a guy that was going all over the place. 100 Miles an hour, you know, back and forth three lanes of traffic. I would say my suggestion would be. I don't know if this is yours. I'm sure it.

So we we went through this yesterday on the show about this horrific Disgrace of a town councilman we have in Brownsburg named Brian Johnson. Yeah, and he, uh, he's got a He's got a problem with telling the truth. And, you know, mark. We've had this conversation for years on the show you you and I can disagree, and that's fine. And I'm going to make your life a living hell, but at least as a government official, I will respect you. Like if you look at me and say Go to hell, yeah, I'm doing this fine. That's your right. And what? You can't do his lie to me and what you can't do, especially as lie repeatedly. And he's lied and he's lied and lied and lied and lied and slide light. And finally, the last. This was the last lie about this Parks board and I'd had enough and I said some Very deservedly negative things about him. And so we unfriended me on the Facebook. Oh, which is fine. I don't need to be your friend on Facebook. What you can't do is unfriend me. If you make your post to where only friends can see your posts because he posts about town business on the Facebook page. He doesn't have like a separate official Brownsburg. He does, but he uses both of them. What does he do? Are they do? No, No, No, They're not. They're not. It doesn't matter. So on Friday, I Because I knew he would see it. People would tell him. I said there must have been another accident that occurred and so I'm going to give him until Monday to rectify the accident. Yeah, he was very helpful was very nice. Did he know? Did he know who you were? I didn't want any special privileges, so I used the name Mary Ann Weaver, said Mariam Weaver from Brownsburg. Oh, and he said, I think that's certainly something but we would explorer taking action on and so Wow, as of this morning, I, uh Filed my complaint. So so now it. I mean, do they? Do they give you a follow up? Yes. What happens? Is he the office will review the complaint they make and I hope they do contact the potential offender in question. I put his personal phone number right there on the, uh, the list his email address right there, and then they'll issue an official opinion. Well, what if they say Because he has this other account? Then you're you don't get to have access to his personal account. Well, I don't think he's going to say that because he's posting official business. I mean, I went through the thing with them, and I tried to be as fair as I could. Because I don't want to waste my time. Right? Because you know me. I'm for truth, Justice and the American way Totally. And so I went through the thing and he said, Yeah, I think that's something we would certainly. Wow. Okay, take a look at. So how does how does one become that public counselor appointed by the governor? Alright, That's an appointment. So no doubt the governor, someone appointed by the governor will certainly give Rob Kendall all the justice he deserves. I'm certain that that will happen. This public access counselor as a history of being very fair, and I think he will do the right thing. So I will. If I have time later today, I've had to block out all the personal information. And so major is the one that got really bitey and got into trouble. They had to be sent back to Delaware. He was rubbing people's like shoulder smelling smelling the hair. But I saw over the weekend that the Bidens released a very lovely statement about champ who passed away over the weekend. And so they were talking. He was 13. You know, he just He passed away peacefully at home, and they wrote some really, really lovely things about their dog. And you know, when it comes to dogs, I don't care whose dog it is. I'm going to be sad if a dog passes away, and so you know, I I saw people being cruel to the Bidens for No reason except that they disagreed on politics. And I was, like, really, Are we going to do that? No. Everyone thinks that they have the best dog ever. And everyone is right. Everyone is right about having the best dog ever. And so you know, it's a sad thing when a dog passes away, and then you get here this morning, and you're like, so I have some news, so I don't know Jacob. I don't know if you're in the room yet. When I was telling mocked this, I said So I saw this segment come up, And today at three o'clock is when we are actually made an appointment and we're actually saying goodbye to Max. We're putting him down. But you're not shooting. I'm not shooting him. No, we're going over to Dr Ambition. Cicero, and we're gonna We're going to put him down. Uh, so thank you. He's been He's been an absolute godsend. I mean, we so, Susan, I we struggle to have kids for a number of years. And it was like the Lord gave us Max as a puppy, and he was like that that showed like he would come and just you know, he When Susan was having a rough day, he just knew, you know he would get jump right up on her lap, and he's an £80. Dog. He's boxer Rhodesian ridgeback mix. So you really cool dog and and he's been with our family for you know, now, 12 13 years and and so he just He can't He can't hear. He's losing his I say. And so it's just been the last few months have been pretty down. Not happy. No, he's not. No, He's definitely not himself. I think I mean, I have not had I put a cat down, but I've never put a dog down because I didn't. I didn't become a dog person until my dog Ella, who's now almost 11, and so I did, and now it's like as soon as I got her, you bond with dogs so quickly and immediately I started thinking Oh, my God, What am I going to do when she's no longer here like I think about it all the time, And I just I mean, I cannot bear the Thought of it, And so I really feel for you and I felt for the Bidens and it's just an awful thing to lose a dog That is such a part of your family. And it's so not fair. It's by the way, Michael, one of the very first questions I am going to ask in heaven is what in the world where you thinking, making these creatures only last, you know, 10 12 15 years at the most. And when turtles which are disgusting, they last a long time. 80 100, plus years. What is that? That's a good question. I don't know. I don't have an answer for literally my Number That is your number one question When you see when you see the Lord face to face, Lord got a question for you by the dogs die so young, It's not right. It's not not fair, Although I will say this, isn't it cool to see the you know just how the Lord created dogs to really their purpose is to be man's campaign companion. I mean, it's awesome. So far we have been taken down yet. So far, our posts are retweeting. I guess you'd call it a retweet of Donald Trump log has not been taken down, and it pops up as there's a picture of the president sitting at his desk and he's signing something, and it's whatever you decided to repost whether it's the bashing of Mitt Romney, whether it's taking on Liz Cheney. "Oh, hey, I'm doing just about as well as I could do after seeing that sounds horrible display from our president last night. I am embarrassed for our country. But you know, other than that things are great. You've been all over Fox News this morning. I just said we were just watching you on with Martha MacCallum and we could go down any start with anything, Joe Biden said last night, but I was rolling my eyes immediately. Assumes that things started with the mask theater. And I know you guys were talking about that earlier. I mean, you have AH, chamber full of people that have all been vaccinated that are all socially distance accepted the vice president and the House speaker. And they're all I mean, most of them are wearing double masts and wanting how absurd you thought that was, we'll tell you if our president already didn't look old and feeble wearing a mask, but he is fully vaccinated certainly didn't help things in the fact that towards the end of the speech, it seemed as though he was almost falling asleep and stumbling over his word. I mean, there's so many things we could discuss what we look certainly week last night, and you could see when the camera panned around to the Republicans in the room that they were about is over it as all of us watching it and again, it's just they have to push this mask narrative. Don't know if Nancy Pelosi just really wanted to wear a mask because we couldn't see her dentures slipped as you normally do in these kind of events and speeches. Thank goodness we didn't have to see that this time, but my goodness, how embarrassing for them to be walking around in these mass as it makes them look. Proud as if it makes them look like they have a position of power. I mean, my goodness, that's Clown college and you want to talk about power, Tommy. I think one of my favorite moments last night. I literally laughed out loud. Watching this at home. When Joe Biden was acting like he bossed around Vladimir Putin and dressed him down with a verbal undressing. Is there anybody in this country that feels like Joe Biden gave a stern lecture to Vladimir Putin? No. Yes, he didn't realize who he was talking to which that is Probably more likely. I mean, they've been giving a stern talking to his dog who has an affinity for biting people who really knows at this point, but I mean, the United States is coming from a place of weakness. All you have to do is look at our open border, and it tells the world exactly what they need to know about this country and then seeing a roomful of mass idiot. Certainly didn't help matters. I mean, look it what? China must have been thinking. Oh, boy, we really got them. You know, he messed up their country. We kind of sabotage their election, and now we got them all walking around in masks like the Phantom of the Freaking Opera, embarrassing one of them one of the themes at the beginning, And the end was the white supremacist narrative and how oppressive this country is, even though like you mentioned, I mean the border's wide open people clamoring to get into this seemingly white supremacist of president. Country. Um, do you believe Joe Biden when he says that white supremacy and systemic racism is like the most lethal threat to democracy since the Civil War? What do you mean? What did you do when he said that? Yeah, again. I think we've all been commenting that he certainly didn't see 9 11. I mean, it's interesting and this is just a typical Biden gap. But I don't really think that Joe Biden sees our country as a racist nation. But I think he's been told to say that we are racist nation because that's all the Democrats have. They have Coben and they have racism. That is all. They have to go one. And so they're going to continue to push both of those narratives and beat the dead horse. Because that is the hole that they have. They can't talk about anything else all they can do to push their big spending plans. Talk about Kobe all they can do to push more control in a national nationalization of police. It's a talk about police brutality and systemic racism. That's all they have on their bench. That's all they're gonna play. I will speak with Tommy learned from Fox News, and that is that's the biggest theme right? There is the socialism angle when you have You know Biden talking about government control, taking control of private economy. We're going to create the jobs. The government will create the jobs, you know, government controlled elections when it's the Constitution that says it's up to the states where we're gonna read. The federal government wants to control policing the feds, you know, Wanna tell local and state police what to do? I am just I was. I mean, he was saying it right? All all out there in plain sight. I mean, for people that thought Joe Biden was this moderate Democrat that was going to come in there and just kind of get along with everybody. I I did not hear any of that last night. Nothing we didn't hear last night was not one mention of freedom. Not one mention of liberty of felt Alliance of personal responsibility of Pull yourself up by the bootstraps. We didn't hear any of that. We heard the government is your family, your Messiah and your master. That is what we heard. And this is what Terrified me at the onset of all this covert stuff and all these checks going out if people are getting way too comfortable being dependent upon government, and it seems great right now, we can all stay home. We could work for home. We could do our little tic tac wonderful. It sounds good now and get a check in the mail. But it's not gonna sound so good. Once the more control more control head to get your check. You got to do this. You gotta give up a little bit more and a little bit more and a little bit more, and that's how socialism creeps in. "Rob Kendall. Here on the hammer, Nigel Show now the coals for unity. Heard a lot about unity reaching across the aisle from Joe Biden yesterday at the inauguration when he was sworn in. I don't know He believes it. I certainly there's members of Congress, the radical progressive members in the house that don't want any part of of unity or accepting or all of branches reaching across the aisle. Are you buying this? What do they really trying to say? When you hear the words? Unity. Well, their version of unity is do as we say, and that the tax and the approach they're taking is interesting. Which is they're trying to make Trump supporters feel like, look, you you realize now you made an egregious mistake, and we're not going to shame you and we're not going to hold it against you. And if you're in the Washington crowd, we might give you a job again somewhere. You just gotta come over here and promise you'll never do that ever again. That's the approach they're taking with people, and it will see if it works. I think the vast majority of people know why they voted for Trump. They know who these people are, and it's not gonna work, but that's the approach they're taking. It seems like we had the audio earlier. Nicole Wallace MSNBC, really calling for the exclusion and explosion and punishment of not only people with It's important Trump. But even Congress lawmakers say they need to be reproved. I'm hearing reprogrammed more and more like it's a bit like a common thing. Well, it's scary. I talk about this with my dear friend Ben Stein. The other night on the very fabulous Been Stein podcast that I'm has to be a part of every so often. Oh, yeah, It's great. He's phenomenal. You want to talk about feeling stupid. They've been trying to e the fairness Dr Story decades. They will continue in earnest now to come for us. But I'm saying our job is to talk to people are living doesn't exist based on our political views. In many ways, it exists because of our political views. People that you feel bad for and the real Patriots who have to stand firm and all of this are the business owners are the people who work it places where they're getting drowned out by hard core liberal voices. Those are the people that are the Patriots and are the heroes in this because they have to continue to stand firm so that people don't feel ostracized for having the views that they have. We start having this push to get representative Dan Leonard to bring this bill that's in his day. He's the head of Rules Committee. He has this bill, which would force the House to vote on Holcomb's emergency declaration. We heard for 10 months below. We'd love to help you out. But boy, there's just there's nothing we can do because we're not in session. Only the governor can call special session. Truth was, those legislators didn't want any part of that bill because they don't take a stand. They learned from the Curtis Hill saga. Don't you Dare cross Eric Holcomb, or we will take you out. And it was all bravado. Curtis nicely, whose representative put a bill for it said. Let's vote on it. Dan Leonard gets this bill is the head of rules and we flooded him with very polite and nice emails and phone calls on Wednesday and Thursday, thousands of correspondents saying, Let's get a vote. We want a vote. We want to know where the lawmakers are well magically, Nige on Friday The governor comes out and the head of stairs, state police and go well, We're shutting down the capital all next week. And people say was they're credible that no, no, no, no, no, no, no. No Credible threat. No, no, no, no credible threat, But we're gonna err on the side of caution Well nights, the subway across the street from the capital is still open. And so I came out and said, We all know what this is. You guys are frauds and you're liars, and you're shutting this down? Not because you're worried about the lawmakers. You don't want to have to take a stand on this bill. Are they eventually going to have To take a stand on the bill. Well, going to vote on. We'll see what happens because the goal in this was let's give it a week. People forget about it. We get focused on something else. And you know, Burgio, the squirrel will see it. But a lot of people don't have that natural mindset as I've had for decades. But now when, when you see on the media police departments told to stand down, you see entire communities who are out to defund the police. Okay, when, when, when? When? That's the mentality, and even here, where there's been no legitimate moved to defund police. In Indianapolis. At the same time, we clearly had a mayor in a police chief Tope police to stand down. I had I had people contact me on my show on Saturdays and police officers wouldn't got 22 years of experience, and he said, Look, the word's gone out. If people come to downtown Indianapolis to burn the city I m p d will form a perimeter. We'll go in and clean up after it happens. People hear that and they realize that a natural reaction to that is move or be if I'm going to stay here, it's on me. I'm responsible for my safety, and a lot of people are naturally going to decide. They need to be armed and equipped and hopefully trained in order to do that, And that's why you're seeing massive millions of people by and got the number. Of licenses to carry in a typical month. Do we consider the death of Kobe Bryant and entertainment story Or did that moment sports or something else? We certainly do. Because he said living he was a legend. Right? And he was just the opinion. He touched so many lives. So yes, the death of Kobe Bryant was I mean, we were all just in shock. I mean, do you remember where you were? When you got the news? I was at home watching television. And I got a text from my buddy. Is it true about Kobe? Right? And I didn't know what he was talking about at the time. So I do what everybody else does. You jump on Twitter to turn on the news and you're thinking at first. This is a hoax because somebody doesn't happen with something that kills people off all the time. They're still alive. John Sena and the Rock had been killed off a million times. Right? Exactly. But that was I think the first big story of 2020 when you look back at the year, one of the stories that stick out to you. Oh, my goodness. There's so many. I mean, if we keep on this train, of course, you know that was just Locker because was on the blue wasn't like he was sick. I mean, he's young. He's got this family. I mean, Alex Trebek of obviously that was just hard really hard to watch that happen. Not not too long ago, right? Because we all grew up with him. I think that's huge. Of course. Chadwick Boseman That was just heart wrenching, And that was huge. Another shocker to me. Kelly Preston, John Travolta's beautiful wife. That's right. I didn't even know she was sick. It's It's very interesting. You know, like we talked about Chad with both men. I mean some People choose to keep it quiet, and then when they do pass, we're all shocked that, like their family was aware of what was going on with them. Regis three, We lost Regis Philbin, and that was just I grew up with him, and I felt like he was like everybody's grandpa. There's so many big names that passed away this year. But looking at some things that were actually fun. Who do the Tiger King would be like the highlight? That's why it's fun, right? We watch the show. We don't know what it's about every buzzing about it, and then we kind of like a train wreck. We can't start watching that. We've who's a scare. By asking, Would you do a killer killer Adversities Harold basket because I'm dancing with the stars, But who knew that would be like the phenomenon of of 2020 really write? That was like the perfect show at the perfect time Tiger came came along What? Everybody is locked down. That's when the quarantine really started. And we didn't know anything about Corona virus back then everybody scared last night, so we're staying at home. We're being good little soldiers doing what we're told. So we're looking for something to watch sports or canceled at this point. No new movies were coming out. And there's this hillbilly in Oklahoma And then Joe exotic. And just when you think you've seen everything at the bottom of the white trash barrel, Tiger King proves that if you lift up the barrel, there's another person with no limbs underneath. Yes, and I mean to see unemployed literally get their arm ripped off by one of these cats. And that goes back to work. Like three days later that it was like, Who are these people? It was almost too good s. Oh, thank more thankful for Tiger King. I personally am some college student. Needs to make their faces the tooth toe limb ratio in Tiger King. There's got to be some sort of mathematical equation that you could do a thesis on because not everybody had two limbs. And certainly nobody had all their teeth. I'm with you on that 1 100%. This also was the year of re boots. I feel I'm going to say the top of that list. I'm not hating on this. Not mad. It saved by the bell. I spoke to Mario Lopez about this because I was like, Yeah, they're gonna mess this up. They've done a good job. It's actually pretty funny, and I'm pretty impressed.
