If you want this pandemic to go away so that you could go back to school and back to work and have good health, you have to vote. It's crucial. So if Biden gets elected The pandemic goes away. "Hammer is here. Rob Kendall from the Chicks on the right in the Rob Kendall's transfer off the rails. How are you, sir? I'm great. It is a pleasure to see Verona Free Nigel back from your vacation. Thanks as always, to our sponsor garage doors of Indianapolis. So you brought something my attention while I was on vacation. Actually, I'd just gotten back previously. I thought the India and you know the deal. On the police mantra that we've been seeing around the country had kind of way. Hadn't seen that here in Indianapolis so much. I mean, I know it's maybe what was a motto of some of the protest that we saw downtown. But I hadn't seen any actual city County councillors talking about de funding the I m p D and you say, Now there's this this roundabout bill coming up talking about how possibly that that could happen. What is that, exactly? To my least favorite part of the show or after talking about All right. I am gonna get that right out of the gate, so they're not going to go through the front door leads to fund the police because people wouldn't have that even people in the African American community. The vast majority of people don't want any part of that so that I could call it defunding police. But there are ways to make it happen. And they started at the other night. With this proposal 1 96 which is the precursor to defund the police. It will ultimately take away money from law enforcement. It will give it to individual special interest groups. And they were smart. If I give these guys in the City County Council credit, then come out with themselves. But they totally distracted everybody because nobody's talking about it because I'm gonna paint black lives matter in Indiana Avenue, so that all came out of the same City County Council meeting. The headline was black Lives matter is going to be on the street near the Madam Walker Theater on Indiana Avenue. But quietly over here when nobody's paying attention, Thesixty County Council said We're going to allow our counselors toe allocate public safety money as they see fit. Now. Now people will say, Well, it doesn't actually take money away from the police. No, not this time. It doesn't physically take money away from the police. But it's a trial balloon. And this money could have gone to the police. There's not a money tree. Zach Adamson didn't plan on, um, money tree in his backyard. The money grew out of it. That's money that could've gone to the police. He's so what they're doing is they're essentially making these individual City County councillors chief of police in their own ward to use this money. I'm doing air quotes here as they see fit for public safety, and I feel like this whole survey that was sent out by the mayor's office about public safety kind of ties into this as well. Because they're going to say Well, the feedback we got from the quote unquote selected people that took this survey and what our city county councillors were doing. This is their way of defunding the police Now they're going to try to pull bull crap on that, But I've already put out there. Abdul and I have talked about it. We're going to a public records request on the surveys. We're going to find out exactly what was in the.

"Ever versatile Rob Kendall. I only hope someday I will have a statues so that an angry mob might take it down. Ah, well. A California pair has been charged with vandalism for defacing a black lives matter Mural in the City Street. This is 42 year old Nicole Anderson and 53 year old David Nelson, who are facing civil rights violation and vandalism for $400 fine and possession of tools to commit vandalism or graffiti. There could be accused of a hate crime for covering up the Martinez street mural with black paint. Now it's important to note important. The mural had been officially permitted by the city, and they had approval to place it on the pavement, so it was not Vandalism when it was placed on the pavement, But it was vandalism. When you are defacing a properly permitted work of art, you might object to it. But that is technically destruction of property. So while I don't agree, necessarily with their actions, I think there is still some hypocrisy here. Now, Rob you are aware of the similarly black lives matter. A mural that was painted in Washington D. C. Yes, okay now, within hours of it, having been freshly picked placed on the pavement. It was defaced by black lives matter. Protesters. They spraypainted all kinds of obscenities on the thing. Cops get me hot. Bowser got me hotter. This mirror doing crap, Ola. Stop and defend the police fudge. The murals change the system. We want change, not appear on. You know, just a litany of other things. He's a Bowser. That was a character, Mario. I'm not sure what the connections are all there, But But, yeah, that was one of the things spray painted on there, and none of those individuals are being charged with hate crimes. So if we're going to stick with consistency here Which is vandalism against permitted public works of art than those black lives matter. Protestors should be similarly charged with a hate crime wells, and it's interesting here because a Sze Yu know I've been very hot about these murals that say some really what they're threatening. There's no other way to say it threatening stuff and the mural of dish on Reed, who shot at the cops and is on his Facebook shooting into a residential neighborhood at all sorts of warrants for his arrest, and some people were, you know, responding on what would happen if we took I'm down. What would happen if we, you know, painted over a minute, And it is interesting. Maybe get charged with a hate crime. Who knows? I don't know. I mean, I guess if you don't want to look at in downtown Indianapolis, Ah, guy who shot at the cops or you don't want to look at someone who has a signed this is justice or else right in the heart of downtown. I guess you just got to not come here, Which is what I'm doing other than when I have to work here. I mean, we you and I are advocates of property rights Rob, and if these works of art have been properly permitted or allowed by the The instant you know, in this case, business owners by the institutions in which their display then none of us have the right to go up and to face these things, But the standard should be equally applied. If it's a black lives matter protestors to facing their own monument, But here's the thing. In our downtown Indianapolis. Look at all the damage millions upon millions of dollars of damage. People literally died 25 felony arrests. That's it, Ethan, I watched. I guarantee 200 people on the Internet, do it, And there's been 25 felony arrests. That monument to people who gave their lives to free people was defaced. Awful. Terrible stuff was written on it. And nothing happened. So if it can happen there, nothing happens. Why does it happen here? I'm not for the facing property. Trust me, You know, I got on my hands and knees and cleaned up awful stuff written. At the police on the state's statehouse lawn because Eric Holcomb wouldn't do it. So you know me. I don't believe in to facing property. But the question is, why can they do it? And nothing happens and somebody does it here and something happens. Yeah, No, absolutely. It's a double standard at play, and unfortunately we are being held hostage by this national conversation right now, with no seeming solution or no easy solution in sight. Unfortunately, that brings us to the clothes. Of this week's edition of Saturday night on the circle. Thanks for sticking around, Rob. Thank you for filling in for Dr David route. "Hammer. Rob Kendall, filling in Or big Nige. Tom Hanks is 64 years old Tom Hanks is 64. Now I'm dating myself. I am aware of this, but I remember being a young child watching bosom buddies on syndicated reruns, Channel four. Back then. W T TV when they weren't bringing you, Cowboy, Bob and Janey and Sanitary. They had all these old shows. And one of them was bosom buddies. Hot. Take your hammer, The best. Tom Hanks movie Big Big, Really, That's the best one. I mean, he's acting like a little kid is a grown ass man. That's pretty. It's a great movie. It is a good film. I enjoyed the movie big. It's got a lot of stuff I like Now the older Tom Hanks gets the more he Gets into politics, right? And this is kind of what happened to David Letterman for me. I grew up watching Letterman Light night. That's why I wanted to get into broadcasting. It's why I went to ball state. I wanted to be Dave Letterman doing wacky bits, right? How many guys in a bear suit? Can you fit into a diner now throwing stuff off the balcony? Things like that. But the older he got, he got so surly. Politically, he became unlikable. Why do so many of these guys become liberal? Surely they can't all feel that way. It's going to be pressure right of the people around them to be hip and cool and liked and fit in. Well, you know what? You can still be liberal, but entertain me right? George Carlin was a super lib. But I will maintain he's my favorite. Stand up comedian of all time so inappropriate, very politically incorrect. I disagreed with his philosophies. But I found myself laughing and be entertained, said they were Bill Maher. Sometimes I disagree with the majority of things that come out of Bill Maher's mouth, but he's entertaining. This is what you don't get with, like, Don Lemon and Chris Cuomo and folks like that. Yeah. You're an interesting study to me Hammer for many reasons, but in this case you are not a protest guy like I stopped going Bruce Springsteen concerts for a couple of years because he got super political. Then he stopped and I went back again. But you are a guy that really can put up with all the bull crap just seems like a lot of work to Mae like, you know, I don't mind it long as it's not interfering with me. Like we said the other day, I'll let you protest in front of me and do all that kind of stuff. But you try to jump in my car. We're going to have a problem. Yeah, but I confined enough things that drive me crazy for free on the Internet. I'm not going to pay and take up a day to go See it. Well, no, I wouldn't take a day to go see it either. I'm not saying that at all. I'm just saying, if I'm leaving Monument Circle, I'm not going to be the guy that complains about this or that or whatever. Just get out of my way. Please don't block the street and let me go home and drink. That's all that I'm asking. I'm a simple man Rob, also celebrating a birthday today. 73 years of age. O. J. Simpson. Wow, The juice is loose, baby 73 years of age. Now what we do here at the Hammer, Nigel show from time to time We look at O. J. Simpson's Twitter account because he has an account. And I think her every day for her wise words at crock in balls crazy. She should have just said Don't kill people. Fake Philly fan. O. J. My wife left her sunglasses at a restaurant. Should someone bring them to her? Or should I kill her, and those are actual responses to an actual tweet? I'm the birthday boy. O J. Simpson. S. Senate and ever since he decided to run for U. S. Senate he's just become a pretty miserable awful person he he was easily defeated by Mike Braun offended many many Hoosier Republicans in the in the process came after many of us here in W. I. B. C. R. from the tool of Bryant Baker self abuse you just give a very angry bitter person and he was defeated and normally what happens in politics is you know if you lose like you try to move up you lose you get the message you go get a private sector job as a lobbyist or something include influencing others whatever you just you don't wait for a while not working he is an ex for some reason that I have yet to figure out I decided the very last minute that he so needed to be in public office there's no one for twenty against Curtis hill and a harder and Jonathan what's your camp and and despite like this but so I think that the guy who knows yet of a law license to be Attorney General he found out curtailing his whole things we go through excellent Wallace's expire for almost two years ago twenty seventeen to twenty nineteen eighteen came out but then he decides he wants to be Attorney General and I did just floors me that people like topic he does need to be in public office and they are they exist as Democrats exist as Republicans it is just a troubling thing because that is absolutely not what our founders intended public service to be it is very clear if you read the federalist papers the founding writings back and forth between the great men who founded our country that they did not intend public service to be a career intended you to go to public service because you were drafted by your constituents those your neighbors your friends those around you you went kicking and screaming you did that to the best of your ability and you've got the heck out of there George Washington is a great example they wanted to make him king he said nope not doing that and then after two terms he said I've had enough of this bye I'm gonna go be a farmer again because people like George Washington could function in the real world they had skill sets they had abilities they didn't need to graft off other people and make their whole lives getting money from other people they had talents and abilities that makes all this because the Republicans had there state convention over a during this week it was a virtual convention usually everybody gets together in a big room and they give speeches and people vote on things and is different this year due to corona viruses virtual convention are well news gathering partners at wish TV were kind enough to run the run the speeches and a very other various other party business as it's referred to on their network which was awesome and so the four candidates for Attorney General got to give speeches and I will tell you never in my life in a multi candidate forum for one such as this have I ever seen one individual candidates spend such a huge portion of their time talking negatively about another candidate if it's one on one maybe you might say a little thing here or there but in a five minute speech these things are intended to tell people what what you would do about how you would make their lives better all the stuff that you offer to.

Kendall certainly would appreciate a follow over there and spent all this week hosting for twenty cats or on the on the morning show and at much of what we spent the week doing was getting different perspectives to try to come up with then understand listen to people and how they feel about things to figure out how to move forward and as I said last segment we are going to have to do this as a society we need being the people because the politicians are clearly not capable of figuring this out I mean look at the lack total lack of leadership at all levels of government that you have seen across this nation over the past two and a half weeks I mean you think about what's going on the federal level those Democrats taking a knee for eight minutes and the the the in their dress which was offensive to many people the pandering that took place there was a joke the series I don't have any answers you think about the the state level we just played last segment about no Eric Holcomb almost lost the state capital his it is he was so petrified to do anything and risk being called a racist or whatever that he did nothing and almost lost the state capital then comes out and congratulates those the protesters while just two months earlier he had told other peaceful protesters that they were gonna spread the plague they were UP three dash personal leadership there doesn't have any answers offered nothing sense either he just closed his eyes and hopes and then we talked about what he my arms on the on the Democrat side in and played if you can find him somebody finally found him at the democratic convention these ridiculous word salad of what he wants to do which he offered nothing other than platitudes and buzz words so you have no leadership and then now we come to the local level where maybe the most agree just lack of leadership of all is taking place and again I point all of these things out because we are at a time in our nation's history where we need people to stand up we need people who are capable of saying I'm listening I hear the voices on all sides I'm hearing people who haven't been heard before I'm willing to do that and then we're going to move forward with policies that work for everyone regardless of their race because many people and I think rightfully so are concerned that the end result of all of this ask politicians so often do is they're just going to throw their hands up and do something for the sake of doing something without any real tangible results or results the slope of the swing the pendulum the other way and then breed resentment and harsh feelings on the other side and again nobody is satisfied and that's likely what's gonna happen that's what government always does it happen so often especially in areas of high profile of in which one side is quote unquote outrage and they just look at what we got we got someone please leave us alone and enjoy hog set is an incredible example of a lack of leadership that has this nation in trouble because the last two nights of of going out to to broad ripple which thankfully is is open on some level still be the fifty percent and I'm sitting there as you know purchasing food and beverage at local establishments I'm sitting there thinking actually tweeted this out I have done more to help the businesses in broad ripple in two days the Joe Hogsett is done in twelve weeks and that's a fact I as a citizen just being eighty eight law abiding a patron of local eateries purchasing food and beverage have done more to help those businesses in two days than Joe Hogsett is done in twelve weeks and if it's pathetic and tragic but if I were to use words to describe jokes that pathetic and tragic might be at the the the the top of the list and I bring all of this up because his holiness the mayor Hogsett said that even though Indiana the rest of the state went to phase four on Friday which allowed more things to open up the higher levels of capacity a new businesses were able to open up for the first time the mayor council now we're we're not we're not doing that yeah none we're we're not we're not doing that yet we're not going to face for until next week and here's a little bit of that announcement by the way you're reviewing our county's health data including a continued decline in hospitalizations and doctor came and Marion County public health officials are now suggesting we proceed to stage four that's interesting but he but he did have a little advice for everyone because he's still very very he's very concerned about coronavirus residence **** still strongly encouraged to utilize face coverings and practice social distancing so on one hand he still so concerned about corona virus that he's delaying the movement to phase four for another week just to be sure just be careful we got to take every precaution necessary okay well I I disagree there never but I understand your person who really is legitimate in your concern for the citizenry and the spread of coronavirus and you want everyone to what we're saying please don't wear a mask when you go out down the climate that I really appreciate jokes a caring so much about me about everybody's well being and and and that's not spring current all but look let's go blue wave back in the time machine to a couple weeks ago and what your Hogsett had to say about the thousands of protesters many of them not wearing masks all of them for the for the most part not social distancing breaking all of the rules here's what he said about them what there be no doubt I was heartened to see thousands of people come together over the course.

"B. C. rob Kendall it's the rob Kendall show happy us Sunday again thankfully a very peaceful weekend thus far here in the circle city and that is something we can all get behind regardless of whatever political opinion you might have an issue stick around coming up next hour I very rarely ever do this but this was so important that it we just had to make an exception connect our whole our gonna talk with Indiana Attorney General Curtis hill when this is up is really the first time he has spoken out at length a certainly a political nature since the events more than two years ago involving allegations that he inappropriately touched women and of course I mean why would you want to speak to me if you if you are trying to make a point in politics in the state course you come to rob Kendall the rob Kendall show and talked him earlier this week we played some of those clips on the chicks on the right hand or Nigel cetera but coming up next hour we're going to give you the the full thing in its entirety my conversation with Indian Attorney General Curtis L. and man he brought the heat on governor Eric Holcomb on the Indiana Republican Party certainly the establishment wing and he makes a point there is a big difference between these dudes here in Indianapolis and the rest of the entire state I'll talk about what he's been through we also get into a little bit about what's going on in our our city and state right now involving race relations protest at center it's a phenomenal conversation make sure you tune in all next hour Indiana Attorney General Curtis hill right here on ninety three W. I. B. C. the rob Kendall show the past yeah I guess it's been twelve weeks now right I mean it seems hardly is basic basically been twelve weeks and society was shut down by corona virus and through the twelve weeks in which the government picked winners and losers and now in the past week and a half of protests in which the government has seemingly picked winners and losers there is beginning to be a resentment that is brewing amongst many law abiding citizens regardless of their race and the resentment is brewing because they feel that they have done things the right way yet they are treated differently because of either whatever business they own or political opinion that they have and it is starting to become more and more prevalent and I'm starting to see more and more people speak openly about this look one thing we should all ask from our government whether you're a Democrat whether you're Republican whether you're a conservative whether you're a liberal and we can all have disagreements on the size and scope of government but the one thing we should expect and demand from our government is that all people be treated equally under the law we should also demand this from our justice system which is much of what the protesters claim to be marching about right they're upset about police brutality about how people are treated differently under the law center but we have seen very clearly from governor Eric Holcomb and we've seen very clearly from mayor Joe Hogsett that people are treated differently based on a variety of things I mean think about in the state of Indiana when corona virus hit businesses and companies that were allowed to stay open welcome can say science whatever anybody with an ounce of common sense real life there wasn't any science to it he was arbitrarily picking winners and losers and certain businesses were allowed to open at certain times based on what kind of business they were well if you had to feed your family he didn't care what type of business that was you just wanted to open to pay your rent and put food on your table and put clothes on your kids back but depending on what you wore and much of it may or may not have been based on if he had friends or donors that were in those businesses some lived in some died naturally that's going to breed some resentment now let's talk about the protesters think about a month and a half ago it's been maybe a little even longer than that now when a large group of people as many as five hundred by some estimates peacefully gathered on the governor's one their protest was about being able to go back to work it wasn't for a political clause it wasn't for change it was simply we just want our business open we we just want to be able to go to work they didn't want anything other than a their business is open to be able to go back more than one anything special anything different often changed just put it back the way it was remember how those people were treated by the governor when he sprinted to the microphone to condemn those people saying that they were going to spread coronavirus he even called them his words not mine a Petri dish can you imagine the arrogance of an elected official to call as fellow citizens Petri dish Eric Holcomb did it certainly wasn't proud of them wasn't patting them on the back for executing their first amendment rights is fully assembling my you're all trash picked up no traffic blocked in center and course there's very famous clips of where people are even honking as they're driving by because all citizens were very peaceful in a battle all laws Eric Holcomb certainly didn't meet with any of those people didn't Pat him on the back didn't tell him keep going didn't tell they were special com a Petri dish last four to how the protesters in the past week and a half of been treated they've been allowed to lie in the street and stop traffic they've been allowed to March in stopped traffic they've been allowed to threaten police officers here we've all seen it on tape you know after the police police should die we saw March right up to the governor's mansion blocking traffic invading the rights of law abiding citizens what happened to those people they were patted on the back by the governor they were saluted by the governor in fact governor even met with one of the leaders ended a big photo op with him I'm sure you've seen it by now governor our mayor Hogsett same thing shutting down law abiding of bars and restaurants and partner barber shops right now the big thing if you're eighty six the meridian your spelling of your ninety six meridian your your you're a good paying tax the tax paying citizen right how are the protesters treated and by the way they were told that because they were going to spread crowbars we can't have the restaurants open because we're gonna spread corona virus so if you would dare question us being Hogg said Holcomb that's us well you're a terrible person you want grandma to die you're going to kill your fellow citizen compare that to how the protesters have been treated they've been patted on the back told they're special told they're doing a great thing and you may agree with the protesters that great and fine but that's not equal treatment of government under the law the protesters of Ghana so as far as to deny Joe Hogsett orders here in Marion County member the curfew curfew the the worst curfew ever enacted in history the curfew was so weak and so worthless that the cops were openly told not to enforce it you know who did abide by the curfew though law abiding citizens protesters well they spat on that name March right past it what happened to absolutely nothing can you imagine if a restaurant in a barber shop had said no no no we're not doing that you can't tell us what to do we're opening up all you better believe the health department every law enforcement agency under the sun would have been there in a moment's notice to shut those people down in the fines would have started and people would have been arrested and if you think Joe Hogsett when the done that you're Dreamin he was so serious about it he said he blocked roads here in downtown Indianapolis of the people that died in the street yes that was Joe Hogsett dancer will allow you to dine in eighty five degree weather with flies and sun beating down on you protesters were given a Pat on the back told us okay this isn't about whether what the protesters are saying is right and wrong it's about example after example of the past twelve weeks in which people have been treated differently under the law based on what they do what kind of business they own or what their political opinion is that's wrong my friends it's not right we are a country that is great because people have all sorts of different political opinions they have all sorts of different beliefs that come from all different sorts of backgrounds owned different businesses and and different come from different walks of life then that's wonderful that's America and you know those people in Indianapolis that are marching they're protesting god bless them they can do it here and whether I agree with everything they stand for not not the point it's that people are being treated differently one because of their beliefs but to because of what government fears the reaction would be and we would be naive and foolish and kidding ourselves if we didn't think that was a big part of it right governor Eric Holcomb he knew those people to peacefully protest on his lawn a month and a half ago he knew they pick up after themselves he knew they'd obey the law he knew they'd be nice and peaceful what destroy anything so his response well it's gonna be a big tough guy and condemn them and call them human Petri dish can you can you imagine anything more insulting to single person than to call them a human Petri dish you're literally calling a person a virus my goodness but then with the protesters that he was concerned wouldn't obey the law were clearly breaking curfew we had shown they they they they were not going to abide by rules and regulations he patted them on the back and told them their special America is great because you have the right to your own opinion you have the right to freely and peacefully exercise that opinion and god bless you for doing that but what we all should demand whether you're black or white whether you're a liberal or conservative whether you are a Republican or Democrat is that our man or woman or whatever whatever the difference is in us we all should demand that government treat us equally under the law as one government starts picking winners and losers as it has for the past twelve weeks be it through corona virus for these protests we are all equal and that's what at least the protesters claim in many cases they're working towards ninety three W. "Zero rob Kendall from the checks on the rights and the rub candle show joining us live in studio how are you Sir I'm great thanks as always to our segment sponsored garage doors of Indianapolis rob let's go back a few days the weekend the protesters outside the governor's mansion I wanna get your thoughts on a couple things what what are these protests really about was it going back to work or was it that some of these draconian laws that say you can go to a Walmart in a minor but you can't let your kids play the playground something doesn't make sense what what is it more about was both as a buffet of stock yeah I think a lot of people are actually work talked with this before look we keep playing ball and all we get are more restrictions right we keep doing all the things and by we I mean ninety five percent or more the people do all the stuff and you just keep getting more restrictions and and look I talked a couple constitutional lawyers last week and they said they're the here's the people we need these people have a case these things are unconstitutional he knows they're unconstitutional I look up to five hundred people stood on his lawn and violated a whole bunch his orders and not one person got ticket so we know there's no T. twenty actually says is anything going to be accomplished with that though because the governor wasn't even there he was at the state house it just seems like I get maybe indeed not a big protest down but that just felt like a waste of time well I don't always tell people this whether it's these referendums that I work on when Iran do you want to be right live in an echo chamber or do you want to sway people and this was more of a protest to I want to be right and be in the echo chamber because there's a bunch of things that could have done for people who are sympathetic to them but because of the way they did it they didn't win those people so I guess I guess the question was what was the end game here because I don't know maybe saying that it was a waste of time is a poor choice of words on my behalf I just don't know what the in game one there was and that's why you hire professional people like me who know what the hell we're doing this to stage the these things number one I would have done it at the state house while he's giving a right before he's giving his press conference because then they have to ask you about it if there's five hundred people at the state house mad at you that's all you're gonna get asked about a total missed opportunity the other thing is they should've really practice the social distancing because there's a lot of people who want to go back to work who are sympathetic to the government overreaching yes but they also want to be safe I'm one of those people right like I keep getting blamed for all this things are telling you protesters our led to protests before on the government's last year the we'd probably change if you are you are purchasing marijuana your advocate yeah okay I'm a big medical marijuana guy and I think it's I think it's totally ridiculous that they say oh we have an opioid crisis is not one of those basic things they refused to do because of the donations he gets from big pharma but that does not look the point is there's a lot of things that could have done that I was referred to him as as suburban mom right that's who you're always trying to win suburban mom wants to go back to work suburban mom recognizes probably some overreach but summer mom also cares about her kids and her family and when you're not doing the social distancing stop they look at you know you're not really serious okay so that takes us to Georgia because tomorrow this time tomorrow George is gonna be opening up a lot of stuff getting tattoos residence yesterday comes out and says that you know what Georgia might be opening up too soon I was surprised by that kind of surprised a lot of people trump is wholly disappointing all of the stuff right and and and we said this for weeks now he's probably the worst personally to pandemic response because he changes his mind more often than he changes his underwear for years the last person to get to trump is who usually wins only conflicted which is fine a lot of people are wholly conflicted on safety but yet people going to work I think it's hard to the right place but he opens his mouth all the damn time keeps contradicting himself let George do what Georgia wants to do and after the fall of promise the governor George will pay the price so wait a minute your criticizing your.

"W. I. B. C. rob Kendall rob Kendall show thanks for joining us don't forget if you'd like to play along so many of the conversations we have here on the radio show continue over on Twitter at robin Kendall on Twitter at rob in Kendal on Twitter give us a call enjoy what's here today or if you just really angry about what you hear today and and you want to tell us about that robin Kendall Twitter so much of the conversation today is surrounding corona virus and what things have been trying to it is so interesting that the conversations in this building alone right I mean because you have people very people follow the news in various levels right you have guy that doesn't follow the news at all you have guys that might you know follow Facebook you have a guy that reads you know the drudge report and many other people were here Debbie IBC and these are people that whether Terry cancers checks and rider hammer Nigel Ethan rob Kendall by self Abdul whoever we this is what we do right we live in this world and so the conversations here from people who follow the news and are you don't understand how the government was put together and and and it's so interesting to have these conversations here and one of the questions I keep asking people here on the internet well first first faucets do you think the founders made a mistake do you think the founders just accidentally left a line out when they were forming putting together this government if we keep running from the break greatest was brilliant because smartest people that ever lived I mean Washington Jefferson Ben Franklin Hamilton you do you know all the names John Adams do you think they just accidentally when they were putting this thing together these years of painstaking barked in debate in the federalist papers and thousands of letters written back and forth you think they just they just forgot to put a liner that says well if there's a virus no we've been together all the whites the freedoms liberties the checks and balances what goes out the window yes even but rob haven't it's a very simple yes or no Mr libertarian is an American history filled with eggs exceptions that have been made to the constitution alterations that have been made to the constitution in fact the way that our Supreme Court functions isn't technically outlined in the constitution they are not the constitutional authority and yet never the less that's who we look to you to answer those questions thank you very well I will gladly answer the question America is the greatest idea ever conceived by man and we have talked about this on the show before they didn't make mistakes they didn't do things halfway it's so those brilliant people at a time the data for it all to come it's liquid on the Big Bang of government America truly is the equivalent of the Big Bang of government something that only and whatever you believe the world came to be what do you believe god did it or you're a science person or whatever it's something that only happened one time it took everything coming together absolutely perfectly they didn't make mistakes and the beautiful thing about when they put this thing together was a they recognize there may be changes that needed to be made and my friend if you don't like something in American government in American politics or the rights and liberties or freedoms that are put out there they gave me a way to fix it they gave me a way to correct it it's really difficult a difficult by design but so many of the things that needed to be fixed deals that had to be made in the beginning in order to get this thing off the ground they've been fixed they've been corrected these people didn't make mistakes they didn't do anything halfway so I asked the question again to people to you out there listening at home do you think the likes of Washington Jefferson and Hamilton and Adams you think they just said just forgot to put in there Hey Jeff recently right now holding out with your beautiful handwriting you put up with a lot of the locals the window if there's a if there's a fear of there's a virus there's an outbreak no of course not things are the way they are for a reason we have checks and balances for a reason and this is what has me so upset about what's going on here in Indiana look it has me worried about the rest of the nation but whatever Ohio governor guy does doesn't bother me at all I mean at the end of the day because I don't live in Ohio hi no plans to go to Ohio anytime soon so if he wants to completely ignore the constitution and just do things **** nilly those people want to tolerate it fine whatever I get asked this all the time about about the referendum issues are people going why don't you go to that community and say that those people from tax increases I don't live there if they want to raise their taxes that is on the point about this is everything the governor has done arguably the most you could make a compelling case this is the most important thing ever done in Indiana history ever done in Indiana history whether it's shutting down schools for an extended length of time whether it is shutting down eighty percent of the Indian economy whether it is single handedly switching election dates it has been done without debate and without discussion and this is what has me upset there is no check and balance there is no debate there is no public vetting of this decision making process it's him coming out with a couple people a press conference and voila everyone complies or wells now what the else is we don't really know yet but in the case of in this is where it gets really dirty right this why politics is super dirty when the governor made that order a couple of restaurant owners I know said he can't do this and and what we'll get into a little bit later in the program the the code C. siding and things like that let you make your own decision on this they said you can't do this we're gonna we're gonna stay open the next thing you see them posting will be open for Kerry out only what happened what happened was the insurance companies can diffuse westerners and said you are free to do as you please and your wife you probably can't enforce this but you know who can enforce this us the insurance company because we're not willing to take that risk because we know you're gonna get sued and we won't insure you at a restaurant owner knows he can't stay open without insurance and don't kid yourself governor Eric Holcomb knew exactly what he was doing when he said he was going to shut these restaurants down he knew that they were the ones who wanted to remain open would have to shut down they were forced to comply without being forced to comply there has been no debate on this issue publicly it gets frustrating because many of you know follow me on social media at robin Kendall my Facebook is a pretty public thing I leave all my posts for the most part public for people to see because it encourages debate I have engaging conversations several active officials and many of them will go yeah you're right I don't think it okay all right I've got somebody in the house of representatives Salem right something's gonna get done here but then they follow up with what could be done what could I do response to them is first you literally have an entire agency in state government called legislative services who literally rights bills that's what they do you don't have to understand the law you don't have to know how it works you literally have a group of people in which you can walk in at any given time and say I'd like a bill that says this and they'll do all the work for you it's like having your own up what's the online law firm of the guy that was J's attorney Robert Robert Shapiro set up were of legalzoom legalzoom twenty four hours a day seven days a week and all of these lawmakers are agreeing with you I mean I emailed one of my lawmakers about this saying the same thing I agree with you but I'm not sure what to be done there hasn't been a debate on this we haven't forced the governor to publicly come out and say to the people who are supposed to be the check and balance which is the Indiana legislature here's why I'm doing this at the end of the day if he puts all his cards on the table and or some form of debate in the people who represent me have it added to an opportunity to stand up on my behalf it's a have you thought about this have you have you thought about that have you thought about maybe we could have done it this way I mean unless they're Holcomb gonna say knows everything about medicine the economy education I could go on forever all the things he's shutting down the other voices deserve to be heard why is there not they've had special sessions before for things that I heard a traction as important as something like this why are we having a special session for that and then at the end of the day if they still come to the same conclusion that shutting down eighty percent of the economy that shutting down businesses who have been open for generations that will never return if putting hundreds of thousands if not more than a million people out of work is the best approach okay fine but at least we have the debate at least we had the discussion at least the process worked itself out we are not a nation of kings and queens my friend we are a nation of checks and balances that we have none of that here and I think what gets me the most upset and maybe this is Patty and maybe this is small but gosh darn it see my friends have the businesses they work their lives for shut down without a voice to be heard forcing my friends are now out of work that seems really petty and small to me too I think what hurts me the most is we have a guy who's making these decisions who never went to the actual vetting process to be the government you can say what was the Republican nominee well anybody could win as the Republican nominee in the state of Indiana in the same year he would for being third a distant third in a three way Senate primary win was actually being judged by the voters to governor in the same year and nobody ever cast a vote for him this is frustrating I see my friends hurting I see my friends lives being destroyed.

"Rob Kendall from the six on the right to the rob kindle show joining us live in studio democratic debate in Vegas last night rob what did you think well to quote the great philosopher Homer Jay Simpson everyone here is stupid except me because I live in the morning you say this I listen to the checks they're saying this Bloomberg did so bad he did this he was terrible that it's over it's not it's just getting started and he's not playing a game to win the nomination he's playing a game to force a brokered convention and keep Bernie Sanders from getting fifty percent plus one of the delegates so what do you say that Bloomberg was not a disaster last night because you read the reviews the on fox and friends this morning said it was a rough outing for Bloomberg yesterday because it if you remember in the debates the first debate trump had with Hillary back in two thousand sixteen everybody ever saw she cleaned his clock see why pull for them she that she that drop wasn't playing for the nation in terms of talking to the nation yes you probably won but he was speaking to a specific group of voters in Ohio in Wisconsin in Michigan and Pennsylvania and afterwards I said he won that debate because he won where he needed to win all your crazy you don't know this year he won those states borough Bloomberg there was a moment in the debate last night or he just stops everybody and they're going after him for his wealth in first companies and is this and then that he goes what are we doing appear more attacking a guy who successful who was given a huge amount of money to the Democratic Party and the audience actually applauded at that line he is speaking to a group of people not the people that are in Bernie Sanders camp or in the fake Indians camp he said he got to a group of people who he needs in order to force a brokered convention and I thought he did it come into his own he started to get a little groove there that last hours specially with the socialism and communism blasts toward Bernie Sanders like yeah the only guys socialist onstage got three houses that was genius that was the line of the night from Bloomberg he did have a bad first hour though rob well he's an unlikable goof I mean all these billionaires are and that shouldn't surprise us right I mean Stiers the same way these people don't live normal lives like they can't go out to all Wendy's I mean they they told live normal lives they're not around people that's always soccer Berg Basil all of these guys their toll weirdos this shouldn't surprise they don't know how to human and so do you think Bloomberg accomplish what he set out to do last night which is a lot of in fighting between the other candidates on stage and he's just kind of in the background like what you mentioned homers of The Simpsons Smithers is that I'm sorry Mister burns like twiddling his fingers just in his goal is to get a a brokered convention so it does it's not about how we did on the debate stage last resort the Punisher because nobody watches these things I mean we all right because it it's it's our job but the average person does give two craps about what's going on in the bottom or the debate the average person watch Indiana and Minnesota exactly the average person knows what they see in these ads and by the way all the bacon if I'm gonna pick and you know all right with anyone but I fight to do what to do that's worth sixty billion billion with a B. dollars fake Indians about to get hers my friend because he can run a hundred million no joke he can run a hundred million dollars of negative ads a week ago it's like you and I lose and twenty cents on the couch cushions so let's talk about Elizabeth Warren the only woman of color on the stage last night the fake Indian human out scorched earth right away I kind of got the feeling she thought all right if I'm on the backside of my campaign I'm going to light a fire throw a match and bring everybody down with me on my way out the door how has this broad whose entire life is based on a lie like everything she has is because of the Ivy League job which she only got because she lied about being in India and then perpetuated the why the rest of her life how has nobody when was this the seven debate six the made no one person is looked at her and said ma'am you lied about being an Indian exit stage right these people are cal words nobody will hit each other except for the one wealthy rich successful guy I will say this we had been waiting for this level of heat this level Aston as in a debate and every time we think we're going to get it we got cool my yard everybody if they're holding hands and then not saying anything Bloomberg brought that out of everybody last night I think the other candidates whether it was Pete weather was slow but shark pocahantas they all knew all right Bloomberg's going to be up here now we have to play hard ball should tell you everything you need to know about the Democrat party because even hit the front runners have been kit what do you call a kiss steel in free we'll hear sniffing wheeling dealing by no no fun we will go after him Peter judge absolutely destroyed south bend that cities a disaster manatee cares a woman who literally lied about being an Indian nobody cares wind up Kamel hairs of the printer lied about smoking dope listening to to back this guy who actually gives a hundreds of millions of dollars to charity and actually one your party the house of representatives almost single handedly well we're going to unite around hate for that guy that the Democrat party I find it ironic as well that to everybody saying the Bloomberg score gold buying the election what do you think Bernie Sanders is doing he's doing that in a round about way too by saying he's going to give you a bunch of free stuff in NY me and free stuff that's the same thing in my room in my mind it's nobody's damn business what somebody who earn their money illegally spends it on as long as it's something legal if you eat okay you liked the sports bad if you want to spend a billion dollars in sports betting and that's your money what business is it of mine actually and I don't agree with Bloomberg on much of anything but I got a like a guy that's like now it's my money I'm only be holding myself I do what I want but in the Democrat party remember I told you guys and I've said this for a year now trouble with a minimum of thirty five states watching that debate last night it works kind of thing and forties in play I mean war to kind of watch that go on these people aren't embarrassment to everything rob candles going off the rails with us here on the hammer and Nigel show on a little bit more about the debate last night we saw Aimee Colbert shar and mayor Pete going at it and listen we know there's a little bad blood before but there was a moment last night why I thought Aimee clover char wanted to go full bills mafia judge and slam him to the Spanish announce table out there at NBC he was ticked off if you didn't shake his hand at the end well it again it's people who won't say the stop and also to stop and that's fine Peter judge entire campaign and they all know this on stage is based around the words I'm gay I mean that's it let's be honest that's why he's here if he's not gay herbal job as the mayor of south bend I did this is not a joke a hundred times better running Brownsburg your son of Joe Biden now this is not.

President Trump speaks after Robert Mueller testifies, live stream

"C. angel Ron candles here robber going to go live to the president this is unprecedented here on the a line or press or drop speaking out for the first time since the conclusion of the lower hearings today today the Republican Party our country there was no defense of what Robert followers tried to defend it offers Sir Robert Boller weather is performance was a bad one or a good one I think everybody understands that I think everybody understands what's going on there was no defense this ridiculous hopes his voice that's been going on for a long time pretty much from the time I came down on the escalator with the First Lady it's a disgrace what happened but I think that I proved a lot to everybody in fact some of my biggest opponents road things today that I would not believe that what I've read that I appreciate that they did that this is been a very bad thing for our country despite everything we've been through it's been an incredible years for our country the administration our president me we've done a great job we've got the strongest stock market the best unemployment numbers the most number of people ever working in the history of our country right now almost a hundred and sixty million our military's been rebuilt I'm getting even stronger we've done a great job and we've done it under this terrible phoning plowed a phony club that's all it was and they should be ashamed of themselves absolutely how do you know who knew what was a phony plowed more than anyone else who's in that blur and hello to see everyone of them they all know who is phony stuff you look at the polls the polls are showing it may be more than anybody else or anything else and I've had my best falls and I don't say why what people see what's going on in our country with this whole thing I've been going through it for three years for three years all nonsense this was a very big day for our country this was a very big day for the Republican Party I'd say it was a great day for me but I don't even like to say that it's great I'll tell you what I very much appreciate those incredible warriors if you watch the day on television Republicans that defended thing did something very powerful very important because they were really defending our country more than anything else they were defending our country but they were warriors and they've been warriors role long time and everybody you know it was a hoax is specially the Democrats I wish we could be a fly on the wall in those rooms with the Democrats would go in and talk before and after meetings and they'd be laughing and smiling I'd say can you believe the way getting away with this but in the end they didn't get away with it yeah there is no such a thing he didn't have the right to exonerate you know it's very interesting people mention exoneration that was something where you totally fall that because you know that the right to exonerate was covered very well by congressman Turner but still a conclusion we were take a look at the report be on the record take a look at what he said but what he was forced to say and even your network video network does for every one of these networks you know we had a couple of gauges actually we had about six stages where they all our representatives your network please don't comment that I we're not going to be doing much on a the reason they're not because it's over wikileaks is a hoax just like everything else and all of those problems having to do with for the biggest hoax of all was the what John John and when you saw Robert Maulers stay for the earlier statement that Betty yeah we did a correction later on in the afternoon and you know what that direction was I used you know why because you're afraid do you know one of the most of it is that you because you know what the totally corrected himself in the afternoon as you know that just as well as anybody I don't know whose senses weren't I guess his senses weren't because if you love the whole report you take a look at what they did some of the things that he didn't even know about some of the things you didn't even know what was going on but you know in the end what he did he actually probably came through for a self the performance was obviously not very good at a lot of problems but he showed more than anything else is that this whole thing has been three years of embarrassment and waste of time for our country I you know what the Democrats thought they could win an election like this I think they hurt themselves very badly for twenty twenty I don't know I really don't I don't know yeah good frankly whether or not it would matter to me because he did nothing wrong they did nothing wrong because it's so on a board it was always a very on a board meeting it was only a part of the fake news go ahead say that again your fate news in your right at the top of the list also let me just tell you not what he says is correct shouldn't correct correction we'll find out that's why people don't deal with you because you're not a not a border they are devastated the Democrats lost so big today their party is in shambles right now they've got the squad's leading their party they are a mess where even you take a look at subscribe and you take a look at so many of the people that were the most outspoken and they say this was a devastating day for the Democrats are you know John and everybody else does it this was a devastating day for the Democrats a very and very unfair question because if you look at his direction he took that totally out of place he made his decision based on the facts not based on some role so I would ask that question because you know it's a the Democrats had nothing and now they have less than nothing and I think they're going to lose the twenty twenty election very big and thinking rational say it's because of the path that they chose who knows where it goes I from what I hear they're giving up but I I just say I know them too well they'll never give up they'll go back into the room and they're trying to figure something out this whole thing has been honestly it's been delusion illusion what the media television with other countries this has been a disaster for the Democrats and I think we're gonna win bigger than ever I'm going to West Virginia one of the great state as stated filling Hey look at percentage off I think it's number one or number two in the country and nobody would have believed that West Virginia is going great some going to West Virginia we did have a big case today you know we want this file okay in Washington which frankly you should be asking about that because that's the real deal I can't believe how nice you are going to go ahead give me a because we did nothing wrong nothing was done wrong this is all a big dog and if you look at it today nothing was done wrong now I believe what you're going to you're going to find a lot of things that were done very wrong but that's going on now that's something you have been writing about that has to do with the other side to do with the thing called the investigators let's see what I the traffic break here Donald Trump live at a chopper presser his reaction to molars testimony in front of Congress today rob Kendall filling engine for Jason hammer says trump says the dems are in shambles today that's a devastating for the Democrats to the Democrats are gonna lose the twenty twenty election that's including a congressional seat twentieth thank I'll tell you what he is a role

"WABC, rob KENDALL. The rob KENDALL show that was governor Holcomb speaking to reporters at the state house about miracle medical marijuana on the first day of session. You can find those full the full QNA over at Indy. Politics dot org. Again, it's a guy reflecting on the topic of medical marijuana. Eric welcome continues to deflect because the answers he's giving. I mean, look that standard by the standard you gave while the federal government hasn't legalized yet. So I'm not gonna do anything till the federal government legalize it. Well, teams are the federal the governor drives on federal highways and whether the speed limit's fifty five sixty whatever I'm sure the governor has gone more than fifty five miles an hour or whatever the posted speed limit is on a federal highway. It's the same thing. I'm sure he's done fifty eight on on a fifty five or sixty on a fifty five, and I'm sure his people his drivers have done sixty or fifty eight hundred fifty five that's not an excuse. Right. I mean, the federal government has basically said we have legalized it yet. But if you want to do it, certainly for medical purposes, we're not gonna do anything. They're not doing anything about states. That are doing it for recreational purposes, we could places like Colorado and now Michigan nothing's happening. That's an excuse. Deflecting, and he's gonna hide behind will the federal government hasn't legalized it yet as long as he can because that will keep Eric welcomes big pharma donors happy who don't want medical marijuana, and he can continue to hide behind that. And that'll be his excuse for allowing people who need comfort to suffer people with cancer PTSD patients people with migraines, terminal illness, whatever it might be he'd rather those people continue to take and get hooked on opioids rather than have medical marijuana because that's what his big pharma donors want. We spelled it out for you. Just last week thirty thousand dollars in donations big donations from Eli Lilly. Since December twenty sixteen ten thousand dollars a year that you don't get money for nothing. You don't get money for nothing. Finally, governor Holcomb asked about hate crimes legislation. Take a listen,.
