Rob & Akiva Need a Podcast #23: Are Rob & Akiva Smarter than a Listener?
What? Bad Akiva needle. That is a right, Robin. Akiva, Nita podcast episode number twenty three we've got a cast of thousands ready to go as we get ready for a highly anticipated episode where we're going to play a game of jeopardy between myself, and my co host an amazing guy who will see how much he knows about the world at large today. We know he knows about the TV show Seinfeld. Because he co hosted a podcast all about it as we rewatch do all a hundred eighty episodes of the TV sitcom Seinfeld here. He is the co host of this very podcast where we spin a wheel of ideas every single week submitted by utilise Nur's. Please welcome in a man who's hobbled, but still here the great, Akiva Winokur. What an introduction has always route. I think people have sort of debated since we started podcasting five years ago who smarter Robert kiva today, we're gonna find out for sure. I think the winner of jeopardy between me, and you is officially the smarter person. Can we agree on that? There's no randomness. Yes, can acuteness. I think that I have long deferred. I'm not one of these people that ever debates that I am you know, smarter than anybody. I have very specific knowledge base where yes, I am an inch wide and a mile deep on a couple of subject than that. I, you know, very ignorant in the ways of the world. Yeah. But I'm listen nobody ever said, I was smart either. We're not saying the winters genius would just saying the winner is the smarter of the two. Okay. That's fine. Those are the stakes here today, but we have a real treat for you guys today because we put this on the wheel awhile ago the game of jeopardy, and so you and I are going to be playing a game of jeopardy. We have we have a host. We have a third person. We have score keepers. We got a whole game coming up so kiva. A why don't you just explain how everything's gonna work? We'll yada yada past of the reaction to our March eleventh nineteen ninety-five podcast. It was fine. Okay. Let's get into this. So we put I made a trivia quiz with a bunch of thirty different jeopardy. Questions posted on Twitter. One day. We had about eighty responses, and we had pre decided that the fiftieth percentile mean the person who came in fortieth would be our contestant 'cause we figured if somebody got nothing right in the came in last that would be stupid that we would crush them. But the person who came in I got like twenty eight to thirty questions right with Mahler shos there there ended up being a tie a three way tie. We actually had a little bit of the bait you, and I wear there was based on the audio. Some people said, oh, it should be the fifteenth person at the fiftieth we really dodged a bullet. Because the fifteenth person was one Alexander chest. Boy, my co-host that would have been the fix people would have been mad. The fixed would have been in. But so fiftieth percent of three people. There was Jeremy who you might. Remember? From the rapture was one of the daters from San Francisco came in tied fifteenth then. When a friend of mine aby. I don't know if he listens. But I know he calls me on Twitter, and he feel that the test. So he came in fifteenth, but neither of them were here because I gave them a a quiz like a sudden death quiz and the winner of that quiz was Melissa. Who will is here with us today? Okay. All right. Melissa. Are you there and here? Okay. Melissa. How are you? I'm great. How are you? Okay. Good very excited to talk to you. Now that we know nothing about you. This is not Melissa Deni or Melissa that we know. Well, so could you tell us a little bit about yourself? I actually think survivor fan I follow all your saviour podcasts. And I heard you advertise a Harry Potter one on a podcast. So I started listening on that all ever since then. Okay. So you have listened to Robin. Akiva, need a podcast. I have okay. Hopefully, the answer is no I thought it'd be much funnier. Didn't know what we were. And so then you heard about the jeopardy quiz, and then you took it, and you came in exactly halfway in the middle of all of the people that responded to the jeopardy test. I was it was a very hard quiz. Too hard. I think I think in hindsight, I think just it was it was a little too hard. Some of the questions were basically impossible except for if people cheated which some people did. Okay. Are you an avid jeopardy viewer? I do watch jeopardy pretty regularly. Yes. Okay. All right. And then what part of the world. Do you live in? I live in Massachusetts NASA. -chusetts? Oh, no. This was a mistake. Actually why. Because she's first of all people always win things there on a winning streak and second of all I'm sure she's a patriots fan. Melissa your patriots fan. I am boy we could we could add better. Yeah. Rod kim. So there was a two question quiz for the tiebreaker. Can I read you guys questions? The first question came from Jess are host that we have not introduced yet. And there was what unusual distinction is chaired by is shared by all these TV series, doctor who get smart have gun will travel always sunny prisoner. The prisoner Semra Jack scrubs that seventy show the seventy the X files. What an usual distinction shared by those series, doctor who gets mart have travel. Oh, it's sunny the prisoner scrubs that seventy show files. I've no idea. So the answer was they have a character with who is unnamed they've an unnamed character on shows like waitress in it's always sunny. Yes. Jess we. Yeah. We actually I've not been introduced yet. But I actually pulled this from jeopardy champion Ken Jennings has a newsletter that he sends around every week, and they send he sends a list of ten trivia questions. And then a bonus question and the ten trivia questions are Google -able? But the bonus question is designed to not be Google. And it's always likley this question because his questions are shared a was now because well, yes, yes. That's when I when I grew up at the test. That's why did switch up the question a little bit. So if someone was googling they might not be able to find the other question, rob because nobody got that was how many home runs have been hit by people with the last name Robinson in. It'll be history. They have it that rub. I the count this myself. This is totally on Google. I don't know I'll say fourteen hundred that's a really good guess, it's fifteen fifty three. You would of nailed it. It was like closest it was like a big brother Melissa was closer than Jeremy the third person was mad because he couldn't do it on Saturday. So he was ineligible. Okay. All right. So Melissa are you up to the challenge you feel confident pretty confident? Oh, wow. Okay. That's like should there. Be stakes. Rob what should what are we playing for other like you and you're playing for the title of smarter than the other person forever? Okay. We're until we do this again. But should there be stakes? Well, should Melissa have to publicly disavow the New England Patriots. And yes, yes, last she has to say that the patriots run is over is the jets time and they have seized. Sure, I can do that with a face. You probably can't do that. And then we should have to say that the, you know, the patriot like we should have to say like. A blessing to the patriots. And may Tom Brady go on to play for. Absolutely. Of course. And also, Melissa I think can have if she beats us if she comes in. I she can put something on the Wheeler in the fishbowl herself. Okay. If she could think of this. She wants something on the fishbowl or in the wheel. I do you have an idea for this. Don't tell us what it is. But do you have an idea for this? Maybe. Okay. Oh, so we'll find out. All right. Yeah. We should make us have to do a recap of like the one of the patriots highlight Liles, we we can't veto idea. But then we're wasting our only veto of twenty nine hundred thousand four what a year for the New England Patriots. Maybe if one of the two of you wins, you get an extra veto. Ooh. Yeah. It's not a bad idea. Okay. I like it. All right. Yeah. I'll take I'll take all the Beatles. One of us with who was the smartest. I think is even even. Yeah. Yeah. I would've. Yeah. Because the vetoes are like we don't like stuff it shouldn't even be on the wheel. So that. Like in February might not be what we like in October. Yeah. It really comes down to suppose, we have an idea. That's a lot of work for for somebody. Yes. And if I don't wanna do that much work. So that's where all right, let's properly introduce the host of Rene jeopardy. She is somebody who is in addition to being a incredibly knowledgeable person. She is also a longtime jeopardy superfan and even appeared on this show. Please welcome the great Jessica lease counts as being jeopardy superfan. If I didn't watch the show for a decade out of my, but you had. Spite is only one shade away from obsessive love, I guess. So I guess the opposite of obsessive. Love is indifference. Yes. Yes. So just is going to be hosting the game today. Just did you also prepare all the questions for today? Sort of I did the lazy thing and actually no this was the thing. I was told to do. So I pulled a game from the past season of jeopardy. So it's basically an entire set of questions from a recent issue episode of jeopardy, and we're gonna use those questions Okla once Melissa episodes. She just gonna late basically I ever watched it. I'm sure rob Hasim watched. If she watched it. She watched it almost six months ago at this point. She's probably another episode since then. Yeah. Just can you tell us about just briefly about your time on jeopardy any fun facts or anything? I'm I I would be happy to tell you about my time on jeopardy. It was really a fantastic. Experience. I'm really I had a blast doing it. Anybody that is a super fan of the show who thinks it would be fun to play. No matter the outcome. It really is that fun. I was on the show in two thousand six I was probably I think I would do better now. But I think I have the experience of hindsight. And I know a lot more about how the game really works than I did when I went into it. But I took the test. This was before it was an online test. It was a written test and go to a hotel conference room and take a written test. And then it has a pass rate. Everybody that tries out for the show. I would say maybe five percent of them passed. And then you go into an interview stage where they decide if you're telegenic enough to be on. And if you're a woman under thirty and you pass the written test, you're pretty much on because they need a diversity. And most of the people are men over fifty. So then I got the call. If you've been a few months. After I took the test passed it. And then I flew out to LA and appeared on an episode and came in second place. It was a very respectable job. I think. Really fun day. I made a friend that I'm still in touch with to this day and the waiter the third place person that you know, he's not somebody at Klay against it was got it. Got it waiting to play. Yeah. In the green room, the guy that guy that beat me went on to beat him the next day. And so the of us were bitter together and couple years later, he came to New York, and we got a pub trivia team together and won like three hundred dollars owing pump trivia, so I guess we did win some money like a pool shark for trivia, you just go to bars, and like clean up, and you usually just like free drinks, though. At a lot of these driven the four I had kids. I one hundred percent did this. We were on vacation when a couple years ago in Saint Louis, and we had my son was a baby at the time. And so it went to bed at seven o'clock and my husband's sitting there like played on the internet, and I see that there is bar trivia downstairs in the hotel bar. And I said, hey, I'm gonna go play bar trivia, you you cool and he's like. Fine. So I go down to the bar. I sit by myself I play as a team of one and came back with fifty dollars in gift cards to this random barred Saint Louis. Okay. I once played rabbi once played something called learned league. Which is like an online trivia competition. And I like went up zero nineteen and five I had five ties. But no no wins in my only season. But one time I looked at. Hey, who's in the top league? I think Mike bloom invited me to this league. And I believe at the time. Correct me if I'm wrong the first place person in the top league probably made up of only people who've actually been on jeopardy was Jessica lease number one heard of the league from knowing just for a long time. Yeah. So she was one out of like thousands was was in first place. So. I said like why aren't you playing with Jessica that would it would have been a waste of everybody's time. That would not have been an interesting podcast. I am in one of the top. I'm in the top tier of learned league. I do not do very well in the top tier of learnedly like clinging by the skin of my teeth. Okay. I'm pretty sure you were in first place when I check, but it might have been to two. Episodes of who? Games. One time. I've had two seasons where I've come close to the top. But there's a couple of people. I'm pretty sure cheat. I don't not really I don't really think that. But okay. Well, let's start to get into what our exercise is going to be today. A Jess that I've heard that you've brought a score keeper with you here today to help us track of everything. Yes. I should introduce my score keeper on he has done a lot of really cool behind the scenes tracking of various things mostly I know him because he keeps track of the amazing race fantasy league that we draft at the beginning of every nobody cares about except the three of us do it. But Mr. Randy Newport, also keeps this beautiful board that he tweets every week after every episode. It's amazing Randi are you there? I am here. How you guys doing ruin the juice juice said Knoop will. But I have yet to new is. It is it is it is. Cavour silent killer. Everyone says it differently. It's new poll. Correcting just I actually thought she knew and that I was I couldn't believe that the a is pronounced. And I didn't know what they'll nest breeding children's book called enough alumnae and as you pronounce air and so short, it's novel bunny. I'm sure because they actually call attention to it in one of the sequels. Okay. Oh, wow. Maybe put made a canon for the first book. Jess, maybe not Randy is not only behind the scenes of the score keeping that he is also behind the scenes of the wand off the survivor supreme court and many other things going on in the greater rob has a podcast universe. Just behind this disliking behind the scenes. Okay. So Randy will be in charge of keeping the scoring. So we have no sort of Calif math issues as we go along here. Jess when the game starts will you be stopping after a couple of categories come off the board to do an interview with us. Well, you guys didn't send any anecdotes. For an anecdote. We have to come up with one on the fly. I think that works or could I just make one up for you. Yeah. That's fine. If you want to improv you could do that to Melissa improving, Allah, try. So after the first commercial break, I'm supposed to come in with some attic, dotes banter and like spoiler alert when you actually go on the show when the first commercial break happens they actually stopped the game for the commercial. And during that first commercial break, Alex comes around and takes his picture with each of you. Oh, and then you get a copy of the picture in that's year souvenir. Nuts and cool. Does. I just don't know if like when someone goes on Ken Jennings was on ninety times they really must have been scrambling for anecdotes by the time. He was on. Oh, they made a joke out of it. That was like by the time they got into like twenty or thirty games. Alex. Would just be like, yeah. Can't how you feel today. Anything new in your life? And it got it got to be to the point where he was really running out of things to tell Alex. All right. We eulogise briefly mentioned the fight. We had before we went on air in the nothing will start and that was. To figure out how how the three contestants should buzz in. And my deal was that we yeller names. I would yell Akiva, rob, rob yell, Melissa. But Jess overruled me. She's in charge. And she said, we're going to type it into a chat, and she will decide who types. I so instead of the fastest yeller the personal festive internet, we're gonna go with the Festus typist. Does not gonna be me. Yeah. Well, this is more like the actual game of jeopardy, Akiva. Yeah. Something that. I think is underplayed. If you're if you're somebody that only watches the program, you might think that you're sheer trivia knowledge is what's going to win you the game. And that's true to a point. But you also have to be fast on the buzzer. And in fact, they tell you this when you go and try out they give you a pin that shaped like the buzzer, they tell you to go home and practice timing your buzzing in. So not only am I going to be rewarding the fastest typist. But I'm going to add another wrinkle onto this when you're playing the actual game of jeopardy if you buzz in before. Alex finishes reading the question, he will ignore you. So I'm going to be watching. And if you guys buzz in before I finished reading the question, I'm not going to call in you. Okay. So I'm just going to type in a rupture type in our most type in any letter because it doesn't it doesn't matter. Just hit enter and then just is going to be able to see in the chat window who has their response above. The other person's that'll take out any sort of like close call tie-break scenarios because another podcast where they do. Just just yell out your name typically, I think everybody's in the same room. So we don't have any sort of lag connective tissues and another. There's one other thing going to do in the chat this set of questions that I pulled a couple of the questions happy visual aid with them. And so I've uploaded the visual aids to a anonymous image hosting website, and I will paste if there's an image. I'm gonna pace it into the chat for you. Okay. Okay. Beautiful that will not help our listeners of the podcast, but we'll have to the. Scribe it after the fact. Yeah, I mean there I think once you're Brennan and say what it is. I think it'll be clear what the image was. Okay. Okay. All right. Is there anything for that? We need to do. There's nothing further that you need to do. When we begin the game. We're not going to play the full game of jeopardy adds. It was played on September seventeenth twenty eighteen what we're going to do here because that's probably going to take us hours. What we're gonna do is. I'm going to read out the categories, and then each of you is going to be allowed to strike one of the categories from the board. So we'll only be playing half of the board. They'll much of the spirit of this show vetoing a category on jeopardy. Everybody gets veto. Okay. Okay. All right. So any anything else? Are we ready to begin? I think we are ready to begin. Okay. Should I pretty so we don't get suits. We call this always smarter than random listener. I think that's a good name for the PLO gives them that of better name in the in the podcast. You are you more than jeopardy? I think I think will be fine. I that maybe just has a better sense of how the people at jeopardy jeopardy. Jess of the jeopardy has never seen me. But I've never tried to get sued by jeopardy before. So I do know. Larry martyr than are you smarter than random listener. What do you think about that name for the podcast idol? I think we'll be fine with the podcast title. I feel like that podcasting sort of outside of the purview of you know, Sony, and, you know, the jeopardy taskmasters, I think we should call the at the I think the title should be something that is not the Jay word. Okay. Okay. All right. So I'll host. Yeah. Don't put it in for SEO purposes. Don't put it in the title. And just because we're talking about jeopardy on the air. I think I think we probably won't draw their attention. Okay. Got it. I'd love to draw attention by you find that's fair. So robber. We shall we sing the opening theme song now in start. I'm not sure what the opening theme song, isn't it? Currently it's the same thing. It always was it's just got a little bit. Like, sometimes it has a different. The nineteen eighties version, but I keep if you want to be the announcer. If you want to be the announcing I can handle the instrumental. Why I don't how how does it go like doodoo? The worry about this. I hear the. You're going to announce the show. Okay. All right. All right. Music dancing. You say music. Yeah. This is jeopardy. What's my line? This is jeopardy. Donna. For the first last and only ever game of rob. And Akiva and random listener late pretty for the title of smartest person. Announcer. Patriots and from somewhat in Massachusetts, Melissa. Two. Kiva? Okay. Welcome everybody. Now, here's the star of are you smarter. And our host the new Alex travek. Didn't know where you're going to go. I get introduced or or what introduce Alex or does. He do the deal. And now, here's your host of jeopardy. Sorry. That was embarrassing Bush league you guys. The new shirt of announce this. I don't know why was the announcer. All right. Welcome everybody to jeopardy but not jeopardy for today's game. We're going to announce the categories and then each one of you is going to select category to strike from the board. And for now, you guys can refer to your spreadsheets. If if you wanna see what the categories are as I read them off. Okay. So we have six categories we're gonna play three of the categories. So click over your spreadsheet. I'll read them off to you. We have at us again. A bit OBE rip lit. Showboats will give you the boat. You tell us the show we have company ease with to ease in quotation marks. We have regional vocabulary and we have state songs, and we want you, of course, to verify the state. Who's a returning champion for the purposes of going first? The previous champion finished and one five times and was retired. Okay. There's an old version of the game. Let's let Melissa go first with the striking and the and the clue because she's our guest. I think that's fair. She's still here. I haven't heard for most of the while you still here. I am still here. Okay. Perfect more than we could say for Taylor Khader right now. That's right. Which category? Would you like to strike state songs? Okay. Okay. Okay. Let's. Eighty six A bit of Brit lip. Yes. Milas maybe waste more than because that was for sure. And I'm Adrienne English and college, I don't know British literature. I we know nineteen Ninety-two, I don't even know the Rick Reilly era. I'm going to knock out lettuce begin. That's lettuce. I love salad on. I'm not a big salad guy. If it was a big salad, maybe so we're only left with three categories jets. What are they the categories that were left with our showboats company es and regional vocabulary? We have accidentally booted the the day will double without knowing you may I'm going to verify that you did the daily double. So there will be no daily double industry. Okay. We can't just improv and put it. I mean, I could but I'm not going to your charges me. What was the lettuce category about? It was about lettuce. That's terrible. That was a good choice. Yeah. One of one of the answers was salad. Spinner? One of them was butter lettuce. We had a Cobb salad. Good category. So what was the what was the correct response? It was we'll begin by washing the lettuce and drying it in this alliterative item. Think that's not alliterative the kiva. Okay. Well, listen, Alex. Is out saying I right. So aboard as our as our person that's in the returning champion seat in my head. You may make the first you make the first choice off board. I look companies for two hundred okay? Companies for two hundred dollars ice cream companies include tasty freeze fosters freeze at this regal one. Founded in nineteen forty. Bob, what is Dairy Queen grits? Like, the end I'll take a companies for four jus- a nineteen ninety-five merger added Martin to the name of this aerospace company. Rob. What is Lockheed Martin? That's correct. So rock Toby that's his favorite like, you know, war contract that one I'll take a companies for six. Okay, this chains. First drugstore opened in Chicago in nineteen o one. Rob. What is Walgreens? That's correct. Although companies for eight okay? This seed seller says it never has never will sell GMO's. I'm going to say nobody knows this. I'm gonna make. The answer to that one. Of course, was burpee. Nobody knows what that is. Okay. Rob go get let's finish out companies companies for thousand dollars in nineteen thirty three r g done and company merged with this rival. Melissa John veer. Incorrect. I'm gonna make the sound effects. I love it Nancy to that one was Bradstreet and don't feel bad. I wouldn't have gotten out myself. Okay. After every five or so can Randy give us the board update for the Randy. We've exhausted when category. Let us know how we're doing. Okay. Currently rob is in the league with twelve hundred Akiva is at zero and Melissa is at negative a native thousand what do you think my strategy of not buzzing in hoping guys got to rethink wrong? Hey, you're in second. Okay. Grain. Rob. Let's do showboats for two hundred. All right. We'll give you the boat. You tell us the show showboats for two hundred the SS minnow, not long afloat. Kiva? What is Gilligan's island? That is correct. Slight again showboats for four please. Okay. Sonny Crockett's boat the Saint Vitus dance. Rob what is Miami? Vice? That's correct. Take showboats for six. Okay. A reality show debut in two thousand five a bunch of boats operating out of Dutch harbor Alaska. Lissa? Deadliest catch catch. That's correct. I'll go eight hundred okay. The USS Nathan James whose crew has survived a global pandemic. Doc triples, triple thumper triple stumper and the answer to that was the last ship Melissa select again one thousand okay, the Pacific Princess exciting. New in nineteen seventy seven. Rob. What is the love boat? That's correct. And we'll go equal v. We'll go into our first commercial break here and pretend we're going off. So you guys can have your picture taken with me and everything and then we'll come back, and we'll do a little banter with our contestants. So Melissa I have here on my index card that you have been arrested. Do you have a funny story about that? Rested. Foreign melissa. Let's give let's just let's give new setup. That in keep that in. That's great. Next. I tell you what my what my thing was going to be if you asked us for own alright. Yeah. What are you glad wanted? I thought you were gonna ask us that. I could when I was a kid I could take my lower lip and put it all like bound that would stay on my chin like under my chin, and it could just stay there. I could walk around like that. That was my fun. Fact, keep up doing, Robin. Given Neto podcast has talent. What can't do that anymore by like one summer out? Always camp. Keep come over to me and say, hey, can you that one year I came back, and I was like I can't do this anymore. I was like twelve did you loan the US tizzy in your lower lip? I think so I think. My my chin probably got too big. And then I it just couldn't even come close anymore, but I can walk around like that for like an hour. It was fun people out. But that's my fun fact for Alex. Wow. Melissa secret. Do you have any secret talents like that? I can. Touch my tongue to my nose. But that's about it. That's not bad. How about you secret talents? I dunno. I used to not have people know that I was playing the mouth trumpet so much but other than that. Yeah. I don't know. I think that I don't have that many other secret or exposed talents. I guess you've been on a podcast for so long. No more secrets. Yeah. Pretty much pretty much. Do you know the secret, you're you're you're a mom of of a young child? Like, Robin myself do the secrets song like if one of my kids, try selling the other one secret the other kid says secrets secrets are no fun something hurt someone. Yes. Something like that. Yeah. Something that is that a favorite of yours. Akiva. I. There are no secrets secrets are fun. Although it's it's you're going to be like, and then and then the kid is going to be like, hey secret secrets let me know what's going on. He was that. I think my parents used to just talking to different language. So I didn't know what they were saying. Yeah. See that. That's a problem too. Because my my son is already like more multi-lingual than I ever was. So yeah. So he's gonna be telling secrets to his friends about you pretty much like he's gonna have friends over there. Just speak Spanish in front of me. And I'm gonna have no idea what's going on. Don't let them have friends and then you'll stop. That's a good plan. I think I'll stick that one right plan. Beautiful. All right. So we can come back to our single jeopardy round. And I believe that rubs still has controlled board. Okay. Let's do regional vocabulary for to all right in parts of the south baptizing means to do this by Dunkin. Lissa? What does that ties thing? Yes. With four hundred all right in some places, you ditch or skip in Utah Slough is what you do if you don't go to this list. School. Yes. Six hundred a big in Wisconsin alternative to yard sale or garage sale. It implies that you pick through the offerings. Lissa was running sale. That's correct. Eight hundred. In the plains states of black lizard was one of these storms. Akiva, what is torn HBO? Incorrect. But he wanna steal. It's a dust storm. All right. Melissa one more clue on the board. One thousand police all right folks in Portland, Oregon may not go to the beach or to the shore. But to this presumably the left one. Listen, what is coast? That's correct. And we are finished with single jeopardy. Ready? Wanna give us the scores after single jeopardy? Robb is lead with twenty six hundred Melissa caught back up with eighteen hundred in kiva has negative six hundred not enough Long Island regional vocabulary there. Although all three of us from the northeast. So I don't know unless Melissa secretly lived in Portland traveling. I've been overseas. A few times I've been in my entire life. Yeah. Maybe she's cheating. Okay. All right. Okay. So it's still anybody's game. Because in the double jeopardy round. Of course, all the dollar values are doubled. And we could go ahead and skip over to the next tab on the spreadsheet. So we can reveal the categories for double jeopardy. In this double jeopardy round. We have specific general history. We have mammals we have rhyming terms starting with eight we have stripes on the flag. We have just for reference, and we have reinstate songs reinstate song reinstate song. Just what was it about September seventeenth twenty eighteen? I there's a couple of things first of all every question on the board got revealed so jeopardy archive only reveals only archives questions that got revealed on the show and second of all they were no big video questions or audio questions. So that we didn't have to deal with any of that got pretty typically good game where I'm just mad at it. I liked the state songs and reinstate songs. I thought that was cute. Okay. To know why the days of jeopardy of the last thirty years, why this particular date? It was a careful choice. I never doubted it was so once again all three of you are allowed to strike a category from the board, and since you are in last place right now, you may go ahead and choose first reinstate songs, we didn't have stayed song. So we may as well. Get rid of that. Sorry. I know I know you're excited about just what constitutes reinstate song song about getting back together with someone so stints the eight hundred dollar question in reinstate songs will obey gift me. One more chance. The Jackson Five sang in this plea their first number one hit. I don't know that. And also, we have no luck with music on this podcast. Wanna know just so I know I don't give you have barely heard of the Beatles. No I've heard they're overrated. Good. Although I do love there's a new movie have you seen this trailer where yesterday which the whole premise looks like awful. But also like, I think we're all going to watch it it looks if the driller or is the movie out, it's. But I think the trailer essentially was the movie was one of those trailers where you see the entire movie. But yeah, the premise of people don't know we're talking about is that guy wakes up in a world where nobody knows what the Beatles is. And he liked pretends to be the Beatles. Yeah. You like that? You like that? Maybe you might like sliders. Like that. Sliders. Is you go to different universes? Okay. Yeah. The Beatles nowadays, they would be they would have like eight views on YouTube. They would nobody would care. Okay. All right. Rob. What would you like to strike? Doesn't Melissa get the second. You what would you like strike? I will strike strikes on the flag. Okay. Oh, I really wanted that one. What was that like showing other countries flags or no? Yeah. It was showing other countries flags and. The flags podcast on thirty to do. You know, what thirty two fans is first of all of it. But I do not know what the lag. So we did. We did an upset where we ranked every single country's flag. We had we had a what's a flag expert called just you. Remember, I don't know what it's called its largest the largest like the number one Exelon the world we had him on. Rob hated at. Rob said, it was very stupid. But I never listened to. Oh, okay. Fine. You just thought it was a stupid idea. Yeah. This guy is obsessed with legs. And we also had the sports guy from slate whose name, I'm blanking on Mike Pesca came on. Also that episode, and I would have just crushed that that I'm very upset. That was my only chance at making final jeopardy. So thank you for striking. All right. And I will try specific general history. Choice history that about actual like military generals. Yeah. Yeah. It was actual military general. So that was struck as the puck is happy because nobody was gonna be able to see the flags. But as a person who wants to be the smartest podcast. I say. So not stricken from the board. We have mammals. We have running terms starting with eight and we have just for reference. So kiva you get the first choice because you are in third place. Yes. Third out of how many I'll take rhyming rhyming terms starting with h please for four hundred. Okay. The longhaired flower children of the nineteen sixties were sometimes described this way. Melissa degree. Yes. Go ahead. Eight hundred police a magician might say these magic words. Melissa. What does advocate data? Incorrect. Rob very pocus. That's correct. Well, hold on hold on one second on my Chad. Melissa, Akiva, rob. Do you see differently? I see Melissa, rob, Akiva. And then I see I see Melissa answering and rob hitting the are again. Yeah. All right. Yeah. So that's people are like, hey was doing badly. 'cause nobody seeing my chats because you're not good at the buzzer. The my thing I got him before up. Anyway, Rob's say a second time after Melissa was wrong. Right. That we have to do. Yeah. You have to after she gets it wrong. Okay. Yeah. Robbie go. Okay. Let's go with rhyming terms starting the answer. Yeah. He did. Okay. For twelve. Okay. If the camera is moving around way too much, the image is said to be this. I'm getting sick, rob. What is herky-jerky? That's correct. Let's go with a rhyming four sixteen quit looking at me that way, it's creepy. And it's giving me these Lissa or does the heat. That's right. Let's finish the category. Okay. An active for a gadget extra useful and convenient. Rob. What is handy dandy Keret? Okay. Let's go with our mammals for four hundred e wear of dog, especially this wild predator of Australia. Lissa? It's very. Incorrect. Rob what is it dingo? Yes. Maybe eight your baby. Nice. I'll take write mammals for eight hundred okay, this largest South American member of the Campbell family makes a good guard animal for sheep and other livestock. Melissa. Alama? That's correct. That's very on the nose answers here. Twelve hundred okay. In the nineteen twenties. The university of Michigan tried using a life. Pair of these mascots. Not a great idea. Akiva, what are wolverines? That's correct. You're on the board. Let's just finish the category for two thousand. Okay, now, this image founded high elevations. It's the four letter rabbit and hare. Relative scene here. Melissa. Incorrect. Anybody else want to try? This is hard for being at sixteen hundred. If you've never seen one of these you wouldn't know what it is it that was called a Pika. Like a week at you a too, right? Okay. We did not discuss we we may have struck both both daily doubles. You don't have to say did actually we did both. So we played Jesse couldn't put one not putting any brand of. All right. Okay. All right to keep select together. Yes. Two thousand okay. All right. Sadly less than thirty years after it was discovered. Stiller's this aquatic mammal was hunted to extinction. Stiller's this aquatic mammal. Do. All right. That was the Steller sea cow. Keep again. Okay. Randy just give us a quick score update. Please. Yeah. Rob is liba seven thousand then Melissa eighteen hundred akitas at six hundred. Just for reference for four please. All right. The body. The history of this judicial bodies work is on view it. Oh, yeah. Dot org. That's easy. Akiva, what is the supreme court? That's correct. Just for reference for eight hundred please okay. This music trade magazine the dates act to eighteen ninety four has an online database of historical record charts. Lissa award. That's correct. Twelve hundred. In twenty ten a reference work by this naturalist with four hundred thirty five hand colored prints sold for a record eleven point five million dollars. What's a naturalist? First of all, what's a naturalist. Is that someone intonation rope is we'll throw is an. It's a guy that draws pictures of animals. No, any guys who was a famous guy draws pictures of animals uses. None uses the answer is John James, Audubon, guys. Okay. I'm a fan of his his Dr. The guy who does a pig. We need to have a pig music in here. All right was was going next. I think that's Melissa. Who's? Hundred okay examined two hundred fifty thousand research. Studies on conditions from asthma to Zeka at these trials dot gov. That's clinical trials dot gov. My whole. So let's finish off. That's finish off the board two thousand. What's another word for lexicon? Look went up in this landmark book of synonyms firm. Eighteen fifty two. All right. You guys the that answer to that one was rose as the Sorus? Get the special you specify roge- as well. What would have happened? There is you didn't sent the source, and then I would have asked you to be more specific like they make Alex trebek's do. Late. So that wraps up double jeopardy. Randy, can you tell us the scores. Rob is in the lead with seven thousand Melissa's second with twenty six hundred and Keita's and third with one thousand. Okay. So here's a twist on final jeopardy. We're not gonna use the final jeopardy question from this particular round mostly because it's kind of boring it's like a random literature questions. So I have written my own final. Jeff can't she love. It can't cheat. And so what I'm going to have you guys do is Email me your wagers in this category. And then we'll come back and we'll do final jeopardy so your final jeopardy category. For today is podcasting. So go ahead and easy that question would be if there was actually on jeopardy though. Yeah. I might have. No, this is actually this is a final jeopardy caliber question. I actually ran this by we have a Facebook group for jeopardy alumni. And I asked people what they thought we had some back and forth on this. So we've we've. We saw just myself. And just if if you saw that question on jeopardy, I'm saying all of us would easily be able to get that. That's probably true. And I asked people like I people that have listened to a lot of podcast and people that are familiar with the medium and also people that are not familiar with the media that gave me some very hashtag basic suggestions, I tweaked it for for you guys, but the general consensus among the group was that this is a very appropriate can Randy sing the music while while we think of it and this after the question, I think my fun fact is I can't mouth trumpet. Home. I can try to all right? Your wagers are locked in. And so now. Your is your final jeopardy answer. And you will have approximately one minute to write down your response. Did they get one minute or thirty? Better than us. Haven't watched this show in a decade. Stop watching you have not gone back into your. I've recently gotten a little back into and every time this happens about twice a year somewhat. I know goes on the show and watch it, but that's been about it. Brag about having that many friends. I've never known anybody other than news. But on the show, I have lots of spark friends. Okay. Oh comes with playing learning league actually coached people who are taking the test. So I don't know if you take this for people is that could be nice. That'd be pretty good. No, I'm just like are getting ready to take the online test like give them some idea of what to expect or they're going to the personnel. Addition. I tell them like this is kinda how you can get on this you should act in front of the camera. And I don't know if it's actually panned out yet. It's a fairly recent side hustle. But okay. Okay. All right. So here is your final jeopardy answer. Make sure you Email me your response in the form of a question. So here you go in February twenty nineteen Spotify disclosed that it paid nearly three hundred forty million dollars to acquire two companies podcast distrbution platform anchor and this production company. So let's go ahead and start with the kiva who was was in third place at the end of the round and Akiva has written down. What is Gimblett and that is correct, Akiva. And so let's see what you wagered. You have wagered thousand. So you get to add that your previous total thousand you get two thousand so congratulations. Nice. All right. And let's go to Melissa was in second place. She says what is time warmer, and that is unfortunately incorrect, and she has wagered twenty four hundred. So then knocks down to two hundred dollars. And finally, let's go to rob. Was it very comfortable? First place rug has written. Well, this this trips people up a lot. And if you ever go on jeopardy, you get your final jeopardy bet wrong. You're going to hear about it. I promise you. It's what we talk about. This a lot in jeopardy alumni group. So rob is written down. What is it is? Correct. And he has wagered. Wagered seventeen ninety nine. So prop knows his jeopardy. Math. I guess. Yeah. Very smart mom, but it turns out that rob is the smartest podcast on this podcast. Oh my God. Well, that includes you. I myself screwed up one of the image postings and mispronounced. I'm just this. I feel like hammered. I was debating betting everything when the final jeopardy category was podcasting. But. But it would have been like good audio. If you know if you had done that, and yeah, just said that you know, the jeopardy stands out. There are not going to let you forget it. If you if you need a million emails about how what a stupid idiot. I am in terms of the final jeopardy bedroom. Yeah. But that question there was no chance we're gonna get wrong. It was a good question. Yeah. That's probably true. It's probably paying close attention because he was hoping Spotify would buy him out. Yeah. If there were two hundred billion then or he's worth at least like I would sell for that. I'm not even greedy. Yeah. Okay. Let them know there. Yeah. So Randy how did everybody finish up? Well, rob ended up winning the day with eighty seven ninety nine then Akiva in two thousand and Melissa with two hundred. Melissa what happened? I did. Not do. Jeff wagering correctly. I could have been guaranteed. Hold on. I don't know what second would have done for you, though to be honest. But if beating you. Got two questions. Right. The whole time or one. Maybe I don't know. I think to okay, Melissa are you prepared to now disavow the New England Patriots in this public setting. If I must. After that incredibly boring Super Bowl. Yes. Team the team up and the next year how Sam darnold looking are you afraid of darnold? Sure. Sure. The honest. I'm not sure right. I guess. Okay. He's he's on the jets. The patriots don't have to worry. It's like people in Manchester. United don't worry about Yeovil town. That's a good joke for our two English listeners. The worry about the jets. If you're a patriots fan. Okay. I've into one debts patriots game. The jets one. So must have been a very long time ago. Twenty fifteen. Okay, fine. The last time we they the jets want. Okay. Let's say if you would have gotten the chance to put something on the wheel, well when you have selected. Guys are sports fans. I'm not sure if you've watched rugby, but could be interesting to try to commentate on a rugby game since kiva commentate on a rugby match. Yeah. That's what now. That would have been that episode. That would have. I mean, it's a fun idea. But I feel like so many Americans don't care about rugby that you know, it would have decreased the entire value of like way below for. Sure. Okay. Are you a player? What makes you think of rugby, Melissa? I do play rugby actually. Okay. You like a college rugby person? I play for club league and providence. Wow. Don't mess with Melissa feel like that means she's like, Jack those rugby people take a lot of injuries. Also, right. Broken one bone. Also. Oh, oh, see look at that a callback to given by the way, not to brag. But the doctor said it was a particularly bad break, rob. So I really have been able to milk it. I have I did not leave my apartment for ninety six hours at one point this week. Wow. Okay. All right. Well, good work. They're great job today by Jess outstanding hosting. Thank you. Rob. Yes. It was. It was very good time. I had a lot of fun. And I feel like next time we need the figure out the daily doubles though. Next time, we gotta get at least a one daily double in there. All right. Well, ten episodes from now if you guys decide to bring this back here return all the happy to put some really listen. I lost was the one daily double. It could have been a big screw up by rob. And and that could have changed the whole of the game could have gone either way, you never know. We lost. We lost forty two to three. But it was just that one play that the difference. Yeah. And of course, great job by Randy new poll behind the scenes keeping track of the score. So Randy thank you for that. Yes. Thank you Randy. Yeah. No problem. Okay. Wonderful. All right. They have it anything else with are jeopardy crew kief. No, melissa. Thanks for thanks for coming on. Congrats on listen, Melissa beat eighty people to get here. And she deserves some props and Randy we got ran the survivor supreme court has been has been, you know, sitting. Quite way in on the edge of extinction. That may need to be. I think the last thing we talked about was if Malcolm got screwed by the double tribal, I think that's the last time we had to. Emergency reach out to them. So something they come up with may have to reach out about edge of extinction. Okay. And for Jess RAV I really like when guests come on and sort of do all the work for us. And we. That's the I did do I did have to write like thirty quest. Jeopardy test and great every test because Google's answer didn't work because people insist on writing what is when I said don't write it in didn't acknowledge their like score eighty thirty questions different times. And then figure out who was in. What percentile Jess really the the yeoman's man the yeoman's? What does it yeoman's what work humans portion the yeoman's? Is there another word that goes after yeoman's? I'm not I don't think so. Terms. Why a lot of the a lot of the worse for this. I have to be fair think Randy did more work than I did. Oh, wow. Randy show, the new I one question. Question. I gotta right. Okay. All right. Well, thank you, all so much. And let's talk about what's going on the wheel. Right key here. We are time to talk about what's going on to the wheel and the fishbowl. Yeah. I still smarting from my devastating loss. But I'm I'm ready to move on to new things. Yeah. Look, I think that killing some of the categories I think was a big help for me. I feel like you know, when we narrow things down to, you know, word play TV boats, you know, were sort of your wheel as final question that was literally about podcasts. I mean flags that's my specialty. That's crazy that you'd even know that you just look it out. Yeah. So less categories is really the person who's you know, an inch wide and a mile deep. I think that that helps me more than, you know, having to compete in a lot of categories. Yeah. No. I think. Yeah. I think that worked you know, it was fun to like have they should have that in regular jep. Everyone gets the CUDA category. Yeah. Or I don't know maybe like the audience gets to kill off. Yeah. The audience kills a category. So all right Keiv. A let's talk about what's coming up on the wheel time to visit mount Rene more. Yes, we've added a ton of things in recent weeks. The wheel is definitely I would say we don't need anything on the wheel. So I'd say the bar right now is pretty high like it has to be a really good idea to make straight onto the wheel. You agree. I agree. I sense that the audience doesn't like us to have such a high bar like that the audience likes to see things get. So they wanna episodes. That's what you're saying. They want to tank us. They want that episodes. But they they don't like it when we poop who ideas. It's almost like that they want all the ideas to get through. All right. How about this? We'll test that theory today. Okay. We in a certain way, we will test. It's like we have to be the bad guy on the front end are the bad guy. And we're saying no individual list. Who care enough to write in? And you know. Yeah, I appreciate like and pitch it. But a lot of the ideas like they're just not fully-fledged podcasts or they don't work for one reason or another. But in the audience has no problem being the bad guy on the back end. They'll kill they like, whatever. Bottom five episode episode suck. But they they like, oh, you guys don't reject everything. Oh my God. You guys are so picky about what goes on the wheel. Let's let's turn it over to the listeners actually because we were little light on ideas for mountain add more the top four days of the week to read. And so right before we went on air. I tweeted, hey, if you know, I need one more idea for this week's episode, send me your ideas. So we're sort of doing this almost in real time wherever the last hour to and people sending ideas, and I'm just going to quickly read all of them. And you're just going to sort of next them, you know, or or you know, or not, but you're gonna. Thank you. You're gonna thank you next them or next like MTV show that we may who knows we could be talking about next week with Alli Lascaux, depending on I got a bell in buzzer ready to go. Okay. So here we go. All right. So let's go rapid fire Renate fire. All right, number one Korean brief history of Robin. Akiva, she says it would be episode for Robin one. For each episode. Rob Akiva, discussed the phone special moments in life, first, crushes I kiss I stayed for some ever want something for job wedding day birther first child any other moments. Guys, brainstorm, this is to episodes. Well, I mean, listen, we're also have the tweak it, but let's say the episode was called brief history of Robin. Akiva, does anybody care. Nobody cares. Nobody cares about what's already we've talked about itself to. And maybe if we were like some like Lothar area, we have like these great. Yeah. Aures? Yeah. We don't have great stories. I crush. I don't know. I'm I have no idea. What says Robin, Akiva, do a book or if you will Philip shepherds novel? Not a person you want to antagonize rave me. Dallas max field says Rene kiva plies for survivor rubbing, tradition tapes from passive reiver's and robs during them. So the over what they learned favorites worse discuss. Okay. We should do it. Keep it takes vice films video pops up and sends it in. Yeah. I remember I'm reading all of them. I'm not skipping to the good ones. Just really, you know, either we're making fun of people's applications for survivor. I kind of feel like that. What I I think that tell me if I'm way off on this. But I feel like what what this show is mostly like, we're taking a break from talking about survivor. So yeah, no. We don't do route it to me. And we have a lot of listeners who don't watch reality TV. Yes. So I don't know. I feel like if somebody has a tape about being on survivor that you know, we're sort of like hurting their chances by blowing. Right. Not my favorite idea. Michael Clark, Robin address an Esa all star team twelve past in pre cast members. And they have to do a weekend update or something. I don't understand that you could you could buzz that. Robin, Akiva geo Gessler that is we just go back to the clock. I do that was like drafting the perfect SNL cast. Yeah. I don't. Yeah. You know, like that something Mike blue might be able to knock for more for Mike bloom. Yeah. Corey David, Robin. Keep starting at agency listeners pitched the guy's products the shows or anything they can put on the market, Robin. Akiva, trendsetter listeners on that. I mean, I feel like that we've had versions of this idea. It's something that I like about sort of like being the person who is coming up with ideas for different things like PR agency. I think we called it at one point. So I don't know if there's enough there, but I feel like that some version of that should get on the wheel at some point at some point showed up, Tim. He's can't be denied needs to be involved, Robin, Akiva, fake, a book report, Robin, Akiva, must give a book report on the number one bestseller at the time of the spin without reading the book use context clues next. Mac says rob McEwen Oscar the guys this year's Oscar nominee is also pass winters favorite moments as Joep has four segments, beechwood reaction to your favorite movies. That were not. Not an Oscar guy. I feel like honestly. And maybe this is terrible. Who cares about the Oscars? Really? I feel like they're so relevant so relevant. Nobody. Nobody cares. Yeah. I listen. I don't have probably people watching the Oscars. I'm not saying like, oh, you're dumb. If you wait for it was like, I'm sure that's entertaining. But just know that they don't matter, and it was like, well you like sports like, yeah. But I don't watch the frequent Espy's. Allowed says it's a ward show season. So how Robin Akiva host and award show. You can give awards for best Twitter memes podcast appearances other stuff like Twitter. Polls reveal the fans agree with you, Robin, Akiva, host an award show. That's the best idea. We've had so far. That's for sure something there. I don't know. Like, we deciding the categories and then we're awards out. Yeah. Ward too. Yeah. What are we giving a war? It's like is it like totally self referential. Like, it's an award about this episode. But it's not the worst I've ever heard, but it needs being loud, you need to tweak it, I if anything should give a Rene award show. So shouldn't that be like fifty or something also that like that's the best episode of the year? That's just idea of of the year. Yeah. Worst episode. We can do a lot of like that's not a bad idea out character of the year. Yeah. That's a good. Missy obviously probably gonna win that one. Yeah. So I think it's going to someone remind us in maybe either when we've been doing it for a year, we could do it after fifty two to the show, right right, or or at the end of twenty nine thousand, but someone remind this of that I don't want to give awards to things that we don't know about. Okay. Nelson says Robin, Akiva, pitch sequels take turns pitching movie sequels for movies that don't actually need sequels castaway to the shining to stuff like that. I'm not mad at it. I feel no idea. But I have to the second one. It's like all right. We got the point. I don't know if it's a full idea. Yeah. I feel like that. We had some version of this at some point looks like it's not on the wheel. They were talking about something like this developing movies. So yeah, I feel like it needs a little a little bit more of maybe our the listeners coming up with the list of movies, and we're trying to figure out what the what the I think this a reboot camp. I think that this was sort of the I don't know what happened to that where we were going to kicked it off kicked out of the waiting room waiting room. Oh my God. So that people might have also been Nelson's idea might have been the same that idea. I would get it on the wheel. Now, I'm not in love with it. I think it's a good idea. But I don't I wouldn't be excited. If it comes up next week wouldn't joy. Okay. Barry Johnson says Robin akitas toward an effort to not Ryan off the throne. Find the most ridiculous poison the market review them alternatively find ridiculous from eighties is in review. Those instead it's a lot of work. It'll those toys did you see that Ryan has a a show with Nickelodeon. That's coming on. Yeah. Is that just going to be his show cut or they're making separate show for they're gonna make separate show? But it's it's so bad. Yeah. Ryan socks knows Ryan Robin quarterback Canada for Meghan. We've had this ready singer and their own person says Robin, Akiva podcast episode rings, since rob lake's talking about the quality gypsum so much when it get definitive ring. But what we ranking doesn't say. Yeah. I don't know. Maybe maybe we bring this poor people could fill out their tournament, by the way. You just you just made my mouth water. We do a bracket of rubbing episodes. That would be exciting. Yeah. Those were all the ideas sent in the last two hours. So just to give people in the you know, none of them were like us. So funny, they belong like the worst idea of all time thing. But like most ideas for one reason are not are not feasible just to you know, what sort of show people like, none of those ideas. We'll even though we just got fifteen twenty ideas in an hour. Okay. And can we carve out episodes sixty five to be the sixty four team bracket of Robin pike is episode of. Well, I don't know if we covered up give sixty five spots on the wheel. And then let the chips chips lies. They may. Okay. All right. So sorry that none of those ideas. From like, I feel like a good idea needs a little bit more substance than than to into these people were just think of something off the top of their head on Twitter is opposed like emailing. Okay. All right. So let's count that as at least one maybe two of the form and a bonus one that came in the robbers podcasts Facebook group this week. Ooh. I didn't see I don't think. Yes. All right. Jessica sterling one of our listeners, of course, part of the duo that is going to get kiva into heaven. You talked to Jessica. And we'll recently on the podcasts. She was part of the discussion about that. Hey, the idea part the stub adding stuff on the wheel is too short. Not enough of it. What about yes, I can't believe it's just ideas. I don't think. So no, I. I don't think we have. I like we're out of ideas right now. I don't I don't like I'm saying, I don't I don't know. I I just don't think there is like if we had like a hundred good ideas, fine. But if you love the ideas part, we do it every week and like fine. We heard people saying it's too short. So I just added some just now, you don't think crazy idea. I can't believe it's just ideas wouldn't get like people like all right? Get Via's in. This is the week where we're going to really open it up. And then we have thirty things on the wheel when we're done that sounds like a nightmare know, I get I appreciate the thought. But but no. Okay. All right. Here's that was idea to let's do idea three from Metronet more this week. It's from Albert he said this in a while ago. It says you guys were talking about doing the prank calls for an upcoming episode. Right. So this is really a long time ago. And I think it could be workshop what about doing the billion the street type ambush? What do you? Call up Archie hosts or mount Rushmore guests in grill them for sixty one hundred twenty seconds. He made it into a trivia competition in the scores of your guests. And maybe use the time to as crazy and the rest of the time this crazy random questions once you're done. You simply say goodbye, hang up. This is a good idea by you should always at at the end of your ideas. This is a good idea to let us know brings. It is a good idea. Yeah. Because we said like, what do you think? I would be like, yeah. No. It's not so great or he would like it. But yeah, Albert, should we I guess this would be instead of what we did with calling the listeners. It's basically calling up people. We know maybe characters from the podcast, but maybe being turning into a trivia game. Now, I know this idea speaks to you because it's about calling up people. Bringing in more meaningful. Yeah. What we just? We just had success bring in you know. You know, we had five people on the line. And it wasn't a disaster. Yeah. I mean, I'm not specially excited about that idea. Do you know, I I like it. I would if you said I love it. I'd say let's put on the wheel. But I'm not going to a mucking to like cry that it's not on the wheel. Maybe it needs a little tweaking. Also, like, my question would be like are we asking them all the same question when they had boring after a while if we're asking the same five questions to eight different people. But I think there's a germ of an idea there that might be good. I mean, I do want to we did the calling the listeners episode a much if that's up for reapproval this episode this week or not definitely. It's soon I think, but I like I want to do something like that. Again. I don't know if you're if you are dead set against it. Scenarios is fun. But it's like okay now, we got Josh wiggle are on the line. Like, hey, Josh. What's like, it's like, I don't know. They were usually on Cavaliers energy works hod cast. Okay. Plus, we are using the podcasters for the row rumbles. So I don't know how much like how much demand there is. How many everybody? Yeah. Right, right. How many times do we need to hear from like David Bloomberg? I'm not sure. So. Okay, fine. So that's a no that's three. We might not put anything on the wheel this week. Let's try. One more. Okay. This has been referenced the bunch of times, I think this might be in the waiting room in some capacity. This is from Derek Alton. It's a similar idea of variety show of sorts where you take all the others that are fun, but can make a full-time has to a marathon many podcasts, you work way down the list, or if the audience can come up with enough draw from a hat, whatever. That's they're all says previously rejected not enough role podcast ideas into a separate list. You could call it. The nap casserole says that's stolen from Seth Meyers the Rennell casserole little bit kinda like, you know, the song scenes from Italian restaurant like Billy Joel had like like like three like two minutes on and then slap them all together. So it's like the turn duck in of ideas where it's like duck invite is. Yes, are they somehow related? No. I think it's just like here. The ideas. We're just going to do them though. It's like all right people. Someone said Robin kiva tell their childhood stories like all right. We'll do that for three minutes. And then do we will? And then we'll like workshop movie ideas. And then we'll like it would be great. If we could do some sort of like like, an improv show of like if there was some sort of through line between three unrelated ideas together. But without seeing the list of rejected ideas, I don't maybe we can have like a Google sheet where it's like a sort of ideas, currently on the wheel ideas rejected. So people can look up and see what's already been rejected. And maybe they could sort of we need a Wicky kind of. Yeah. I think Google we have Sean Falconer with Sean Falconer listen to the show. Sure. Their users for this fell podcast do need someone to you might have a like everything. Yeah. I mean, do we wanna make Cuba's assistant Ben and by make I mean, we can't make them do anything because he's an unpaid assistant. So he might say no like listen to the mailbag segments. And then make like make some sort of. Listen to the podcast. He does. But he might stop listening when I asked him to do that. Just I think that we could just have a Google sheet. And we give out the link to it. And then people like have it be read only what about for the old the old the questions that already been asked? This. We volunteer like twenty volunteers to go through one episode. Yeah. Somebody can like in the renege up. I want to say army. I like that. But what navy like riana today, the coastguard the coastguard coastguard? Yep. The lead over knows. The lead over knows Beverly. The they they can each get assigned a number, and they go bang listened to the the the mailbag. All right, beautiful. New ideas are coming in right now. Rob rubber pick their favorites. We both create individual top ten list of your favorite movies TV shows baseball, players foods, whatever and then reveal them that ten or crash. Yeah. Basically that is ten trips, but it's our Lous. Jim crumley says rob. And or guest explains the ironman trilogy to Akiva in style the stores episode. I don't know if anybody's really clamoring hear more about Ireland. We did get a lot of people saying like marvel of the marvel movies. Yeah. I wouldn't mind somebody coming on with the with the endgame coming. If somebody wanted to talk us, explain the marvel cinematic universe us, okay? In sort of like, basically, the important events from fifteen different marvel movies if they could just like an hour. And then we could just watch the the like basically spoil all the marvel movies for us because that's something that you or I or not very well. I know I've watched any of them. Yeah. I don't even know who the only thing. I know is it's not that man. And it's not superman. But I think it is Spiderman so Spiderman is I know who all the characters are I've seen the movies. It feels like I've been afraid to jump in. I don't know what what's going on. But it would be great. So people have suggest that I think we need a person for. I don't wanna just okay. So somebody with volunteer. Like, hey, I'm your guy for that. We put it on next. But he can explain the marvel cinematic universe to us in layman's terms, and then get us to become it'll be Jake Lehman from the Portland trailblazers. Could explain it to us. Maybe maybe. Okay. So we're looking for somebody NIA podcast, Robert swept dot com or message. Look for key twenty-six on Twitter that or Seinfeld post show. Recaps dot com. Not enough. We don't have enough emails because we also have for nap at rob as website dot com. Okay. One more quick idea. And then we'll go to the wheel. Okay. Let's see if we could get something on this week. Because I I'm a longtime. We've added nothing it's called behind the music. People. Nominate let's say. Let's say you're the world's biggest Billy Joel fan. Okay. And the world's biggest Pearl Jam fan. But it not near you. But the, you know, rob to or Akiva to someone nominee. Let's jester is the world's biggest Metallica fan. Okay. Is he so he said, no, he I don't even though he knows? And then no, I'm sure he's going to send us an Email. Like, I've here's my on every material question. Everyone who grew up in like, yeah, I'm sure he's opinions on talcum. He's not I don't know what his favorite band. He's not. He doesn't know anything about music. So let's say someone is a diehard guns and roses fan and some of the guy die hard red hot chili peppers fan. So these people basically submit themselves, and then there's a vote, and then the winter we have an episode where it's like behind the music. We learn everything about similar to the marvel idea. We learn everything about Elton John or everything about itchy or wherever, you know. They're super fan of like they take us through the we'll listen to some songs they take us through the their their catalog. They tell us about. About the person. And like, it's basically similar to the Harry Potter thing where it's a superfan explaining their band or singer musical act us, you know, I like the idea of like coming on and getting educated about a subject, but just like rain random like, I think it needs to be something that is of particular interest us before we say any. Be music. So it'd be like people, you know, fans could vote maybe each vote, and it would be like all right? Here's using the ten we put on the in the vote, and like he, you know, only one of them. So it would be something the fans wanted to hear. Okay. I guess. Well, it's just like it could be great if it's the right person. But if somebody who like isn't that exciting where I'm trying to think of somebody like like if we get say selene Dion. Okay. Now, we're hearing all about selene Dion like we could pick. The we could pick the five or ten options for the poll. So we wouldn't even need sling done wouldn't even be on the pole. And we don't care. Why don't we just get the submissions of from people that could do this for particular artist guys to come up with artists, and then you know, paint ourselves into a corner. Okay. So you mean wear picking instead, I if somebody was like, oh my God. You would not believe the back story of Huey Lewis. I could tell you when the new year mind between the news the news hates Huey Lewis. Huey Lewis the backup group. Yeah. No. We won't even believe all these people that. Huey Lewis had a relationship with his family hates him like. Okay. Sure. Let's let's put that on the wheel. But if it's like, you know, we're just like, you know, spit balling artists unless there's somebody who's like infamous like that we would want to hear like if if we're like vanilla ice would be interesting to hear his writing could probably get vanilla ice. So that would that would actually make for I still wanna leave it up to, you know, chance where like there's a there's a chance the rapper. We leave it up to chance the rapper rapper. Yeah. So basically, let's just put this out there. If anybody has like, a super interesting biography that they know, and they feel like that would be a great episode of the podcast something that we didn't know about this person secret life over everything that's person did or it's gonna completely blow our minds, please. Write it. I think this is the first time in and we've had no luck with music. So this could be our redemption. If we do a decent music episode. But I think this is the first time in, you know, at least many weeks that we are shut out. Nothing added to the wheel at all. That being said we have a really full wheel to reset anything new for the fishbowl, by the way. No, no, I'm not really taking fishbowl suggestions right now. I feel like we're over twenty things. It's just you know, people get excited about an idea. And then there's a one in fifteen chance it gets picked. And then a one in twenty five chance live in that. I feel like it's too narrow that being said ten episodes ago. It was a rob mckeever Anita podcast thirteen dinosaurs season three episode seven from the Semper eight twenty eighteen do we want to put a another dinosaurs ball into the fishbowl? No, I don't I don't even know how that would work. And I think like I like the dinosaurs episode a lot, but I don't know we need to if we need. Revisit it. We've already spoiled the series finale. Also, I feel like that was one of the better receipt. I feel people were liked dinosaurs recap. Yeah. People did that. I I'm not sure we could go back to that. Well, okay. I'm sure at one point the boss did throw the dinosaurs down. Well. How did we ever land on a like a yes or no like poll button where people could just tell us thumbs up or thumbs down like a rotten tomatoes score on each of these episodes that we then report back. I think what we should do is after twenty five episodes. I don't think we need to do in real time every week. I don't need to do an episode. We work hard on it. And then people and it sucked. But I think with hindsight after what about if after twenty five which is in two weeks will have one of our poll guys make up a pole and people could rank that besides and then we could do ranked as much as just a thumbs up or thumbs down. Like when you wanna know like last week's episode key. How do you think we did? Well, we were. Poll. I I don't really wanna poll every week though, offense the listeners like, I don't wanna know. Don't wanna know if last week only thirty six percent of the listeners the approval rating. Yeah. Like a per episode per episode like on no napping tomatoes. Thirty six percent of our audience liked last week's show. I really don't if you wanna do we could do it. But I just don't like do you think any politician's been? Sweet. I have this thing where tells me every week what my approval rating is. It's so great, and they pay a lot of money realtime. Yeah. But not till I I don't think it's I don't think it's you don't think it would be it would be fun to try. Okay. Let's try with this episode. How does it look set it up? We gotta talk to tabulate or he doesn't wanna do it. Then the new maybe. Yeah. Just like, you know quick poll. It's you know. Yes. Or no. Thumbs up for some context, we'd have to go back to like every episode and see like what the approval rating. Let me say hey kiva last week's episode eighty seven percent approval. Yeah. But I think if you disapprove, you shift to say who you are then we could fight them. If we don't if we're mad at them. What you think that people will troll us? I mean, there's trolls out there believe you don't have to tell me. I know. I know. Yeah. I know we'll figure it out. Yeah. What do you frayed of? Maybe the truth. No. I just don't care. I feel like we I don't know. Why? Instead of no podcasts would do this. Yeah. Look, I rather get like a thirty seven percent approval rating than you know, a bunch of mean tweets like if somebody's going to go vote, we'll still get both the people send me tweets, we'll still send them in tweet. And then they'll have a second outlet, which is now to give us a thumbs down on tomatoes, or whatever maybe there's even like a point where something gets ninety percent approval rating. It automatically goes back on. Somethings. Can't go back on the wheel. Oh, great. Everyone loves the rapture. Now have to do that again for next week. Approval rating hundred anyone who doesn't like that as a more. That's one hundred gets vote. This podcast. So she does not we should have MRIs the third. Jeopardy contestant. I was thinking about because. Could've run. Yeah. Oh, yeah. For sure. Yeah. If she beat us. Well, yeah. Maybe MRIs, Melissa. And we didn't realize. Because she wasn't that salty, Melissa. It was really Missy. No good. If we play again should Missy have the option of being third. Yes. Okay. She's got the spot should have option for anything that we do about. If MRI what's on in the next episode seven that doesn't have guest. She's there. She can come on anytime and yell at us. Heave. I wouldn't like throw out. Also, just the put in people's minds that ten episodes from now, we talk about putting jeopardy back on the wheel. What about Robin kiva play wheel of fortune as long as we could do it. I'm up for it. If I'm gonna put it on for next week. We don't even have to wait ten a good idea. I just we just have to have someone like make the game. Although. That we're gonna podcast. It is a little visual visual. Okay. All right thing. We'll think about it. But I like playing a game. That was I think the big takeaway from today. Okay, fun. Okay. All right kief. Let's talk about what's on the wheel. Rob Akiva Salva murder season. Three episodes seven. That's where we're going to hit the fishbowl that has five spots on the wheel. We've got the coin flip which we've never done either gonna be Rob's pick or akitas pick. A he has the coin the Oregon trail, we got the rise and fall of JT TV show theme song bracket with Alexander, Chester. N TV shows are trash with MRI. Superfan alley Lesher. We've got the leprechaun to we've got millennial bootcamp or fill tea is going to come in. And teach us terms that all the millennials are saying we have the mystery show, which kiva is a working on. But you guys won't know what it is. Until you listen to the podcast we have to life coach with Caitlin Herman. We have infomer-. Trash with Eric Stein. And the Royal rumble is on the wheel and in contention for the podcast her Royal rumble kiva, correct me if I'm wrong, there's going to be two separate Royal rumbles Aymen's, Royal rumble and women's Royal rumble of robbing wrong. I think you're wrong. But it's up to Brent the guy was created. We had no idea. We have no idea. Are we also won't take any any gusts? Then if if people are mad at what we can do that is that is a like, we have no idea. What's happening? Please. Don't be mad at us. Okay. All right. Be made a Brent. Yes. Okay. All right. Plausible deniability, they call that. Did you get a second veto for winning jeopardy? I don't think so. And I don't even want to you. Okay, fine. Okay. No veto. All right. There we go. All right. What are you going to Lord over the fact that you are smarter than me? I'm not I'm I defer I defer to you that I remember I am smarter than Melissa. Even though she clobbered me during the game just did not bets wisely on on final jeopardy. Yes. I think that there are certain areas that I know more than you. But I think that in terms of general, practical knowledge, I'm not talking about military leaders. I think you know way more than I do about a very wide array of subjects. All right. Well, did not manifest itself today. But I thank you for saying that all right, in fact, that I respect the kiva zip opinion on on most matters where I find myself a lot of times in pre- show conversation. He has a lot of noise about this. What's what's really going on with this? And I tell you what's what tells me? What's what I think is very valuable resource? All right. You ready for the saying we have thirteen things on the wheel. Okay. All right, kiva sees through the spin. That's why he's so wise. All right. Let's spin. Spinning around big shanked big slice of season. Three episode seven is not gonna come up. What is going to come up is a guest on the podcast? Oye, hope that we've got Bill t on speed dial that's exciting for the millennial boot camp. I'm ready. I'm ready. I think he's ready to go. He's got he's ready to go to ask me at one thing. Give him a heads up when it was gonna come up. So all right now. Let them. Yeah. Email them Email them right now. Let's see if we can get an answer from him before the end of the pike, and you send a quick message. Yeah. I'm doing that Renault. You send them a quick message for millennial boot camp next week Keven? I are happy. That's nothing to watch. No work for us at all. Yes. Yup. It's all in Phil tease court and the next week kiva, and I can learn everything that millennials are saying, so we. We can bridge the age divide. We could be on Twitter. We could be talking to anybody in the millennial demographic, and we will be able to speak fluent millennial very excited. Now, I am a millennial and you're not. Yes, you are technically the world's oldest millennial that was at one time. Not even because I think millennials taken go to eighty one Borden Eighty-three. But I think the eighty one and eighty two people are really more of your generation 'cause I fully grew up in the nineties. I don't remember anything from before January first nineteen ninety. Yeah. I mean, I don't remember anything before nineteen ninety six, but that's from CTE or something. And that's crazy from having a dramatically awkward child. There's just nothing worth. Remembering there was nothing. Remembering that's, right, everything. Everything else. That's been exciting or interesting has happened since up. Okay. All right. Let's see any new reviews. Do you think at rob? Yeah, nap. Okay. We have from met rich says who is living rent free in your head the answer. Of course, should be Robert Akiva for better or worse. Nice. These two never failed to entertain whether it be watching in commenting on old sitcom simulating fake survivor seasons. Talking about trash even just banter, this podcast has it all I definitely recommend. And love tuning in each week to see if Robyn Akiva will ever leave their houses without suffering. A debilitating injury. Of course, five stars. Okay. Wow. What a way to rub it in on Matt. But that's gonna review. All right. Then this is one from Tweedle. Dee thirty two I listened to this on the bus, and I laugh a lot, but I wear a hat so people don't see my hat and then people stare at me because I'm laughing at seemingly nothing I also don't know when this podcast comes out. So every day too. I think comes out like Saturday night Sunday morning, I rarely outside that. Sometimes I if I have nothing else posted on a Friday with these survivors schedule that might throw us off a little because I do the survivor feedback show on Saturdays. So. Keven I have been recording these on Saturdays. But maybe need to go back. We got to figure out when filters available. Okay. Okay. This is a great review. This is from Smith Dallas February ten twenty nine thousand five stars. He writes, simply I'm so high who by the way, that's really the best idea for a podcast like we both get really stone. Then I am not a drug guy at all. Yeah. Just like we just banter, Robin you've ever high cast. Yes, now is that something that you would even be able to do? Yeah. I could speaking like and keep my marriage intact. I'm not sure what you would be. No. She would she she'll be mad. She was just mad about you know, like fighting during the commercial bring. Nine should care. Yeah. Yeah. I I don't know what the repercussions of what you would to think that through get Antonio his are on the phone. End Elliott lash conference, the both in terms of what would be the legal ramifications or something like that. You mentioned those two because they're famous pilots. No because they are legal correspondent, very unprofessional. And. Assume just like they were really into smoking pot. And that's what I said. Hi, we could do arrow, and I don't know about. Well, in my state that I mean, that's currently legal without being a violation of any sort of, you know, we'll any law, but I don't know. I don't know the rules. I don't wanna be like mosque over here. Could you read the next review because it blew me away? The next the next review that this one is from N J K five zero to five that's the one you like, yeah. I found their Seinfeld podcast from akitas twenty sixteen Olympic preview on deadspin which pulled me into both RJ end the thirty two fans universe. But I think that this is their best work that's wild, right? Because I think we need joke. Even on the Seinfeld podcast because I during the my deadspin Olympic plugged. Hey, have this podcast and during the K if you happen to have found it through the podcast through this article because that's been articles get over six figure of us. So I figured like, hey, maybe one person would be curious and click, and we never had one person right in for years. And say like, yeah, I found you through deadspin. But now we found somebody. That's amazing if someone else's out there. I would love to hear about it. But m j k reveal yourself, that's cool. Okay. All right. No word back from filthy. Right. Not yet. I just Email them. Good to go on standby waiting for your call. Sitting the way the reason why he's cool. He's coming on is because he's got things to do. He knows whats hip. And what's happening doesn't say things. Like was been. What's happening? I didn't go stuff. He did not. I doubt. He's going to go stuff. That's not really his. That's not his speed. He's excited about this. Okay. All right. Well, do you have any new tweets came in to for people trying to make the wheel in the last few minutes? All right. You tell people renting in Akiva, what if you and I write a report. But one is faking one is real rob guesses side who's describing the real plot of the book. Now, I think maybe someone else's pre gaming Robin have a high with that idea. I don't know know that's from Kirsten. Yeah. Another your tweets trash with Brent Farren, cough listener Brent fan costs tweets, your tweet through tweets or Trish, too. Breadth fern, cough or that hater. His name. You head haters is guy. Everyone loves him barrow. It was from Johnny Denver. Okay. All right Keiv. What's going on thirty two fans podcast? Our in the absolute, you know, doldrums of the NFL. What we're doing rang the best ninety nine movies of the year. You know, it's Oscar season. I know we just ragged on we really talk about we still at the movies. So last week we did like ninety nine to twenty this week. We're going to twenty through one our friend of comes on. And he tells us about every movie that came out this year. He sees one hundred movies a year any Wrexham. I mean that seems like cruel and unusual punishment. See a hundred movies in a year, he loves movies. He likes seeing movies. He likes them. Even by number eighty. I'm like, why did you like this? I did like it is like it's only like ninety nine hundred ninety three. That's so he he's a big movie guy. Okay. He goes to movies Li like he comes home for like on the way home from work. Sometimes he goes what goes the theory by himself and watch the movie tells us what he was working late. I think I'd enjoy a very bad movie way more than like anything like in the middle. Like seventy percent of his agree. Yeah. I think bad movies are fun mediocre movies. Are really dull. I would. I would I would tend to agree with mediocre movie. I'm really just like what's the point? What am I doing here? Yeah. No. I feel the same way. Because I watched it. But like any movie that was in his top twenty. I tried to watch and some of them like it's not smart enjoy. I'm shutting this off. Like, maybe if it was like, I was home and doing other stuff, and it was just on. I was just sort of absorbing it. But being in the theater or mediocre movie is a nightmare. She experience I agree. But that's why also never really go to take my kids to a kids movie. I never go to the theater, and that's why like I'm just on my phone the whole time if it movies mediocre, and then it's over. Yeah. All right movies over I think this podcast is to follow a kiva on Twitter. He is at Keith twenty six I'm at Rupp sister again, thanks to our jeopardy crew here today, of course, the wonderful, Massachusetts native, Melissa Jessica lease Randy new poll, thanks to YouTube for listening. Take care have a good one. Bye.

Rob & Akiva Need a Podcast #17: Pranking the Listeners
Wow. Every week. In a cave a needle. Yes. That is right, Robin, kiva Nida podcast. I am rob sister. Nino here back on the show where we spin a wheel of podcast, ideas of listeners suggestions that we get every single week in our mailbag that I discussed here with this man, the podcasters podcast or here. He is the great co creator of the Seinfeld post show recap. Akiva, Winokur key, the how are you? But Sigrid explanation of what we do people were complaining last week that like what is the podcast we never complain noticed, Akiva. And you know, what happened someone as my wife screams, extremely loudly somebody outside my house. What is that noise? Someone's in trouble. You know? No. I'm this is rare. Good week. Okay. So people were complaining why were you explaining this? Now, we got complaints about the explanation. How many so now we have just one or two, but to really sets us off. So we now need to explain why we're explaining last week. Okay. That the podcast needs an intro. So there you go wheel we pick a topic. All right. So that now that that's out of the way last week. Akiva, we talked about judge Judy were judging Judy. What did you think the response was for judging Judy? I feel very strong strong response. Yeah. Oh, you didn't think so think no? You know about what I expected. Yeah. There was very little negative response. Put it that way. I think. That was their favorite middle of the road. Was like my mom my mom's favorite episode. Yes. Okay. We got some of that. Yeah. Well, we'll from America said seven out of ten that's about about where I thought. What other podcasts that people just Email the host and be like if every episode we were just like tweeting at more, Maryland, the Sarah Silverman. That was like a six and a half ETA ten and there were supposed to like that tweet. Someone tweets that at us in his Ileye intimidating. Yeah. Here's a painting that we're going to approve your barely giving a passing grade for that episode. Cat by their listeners. That's what I need. I need that. Because to me keeps me on. That's how that's how you get better. I need to do like being negt. I like the honest assessment more than the worst podcast ever. You can do something with seven out of ten. I can't really do anything with you know, worse podcast or best podcast ever. That's the tough to get honest. Opinions are already very honest with us. Yeah. If nothing else, they're honest. And we're I guess we'll find that. How honest they are today. Okay. All right. Yes. We will find that out today because we are doing something I has any podcast ever done this before I don't think. So I think we try and some weeks we do silly things. Like just watching an old episode of TV, the nobody cares about some weeks. We try and reinvent the wheel. No pun intended. Yeah. This week and we're trying to reinvent the wheel. We are on the bleeding edge of podcasting because we solicited phone numbers from our listeners. And we said, hey, we give us your phone number because we're going to prank phone call. You. And so we got an amazing response from our listener. How many how many people wanted us to call them almost one hundred almost one hundred people said, yeah, here's my phone number. I'm opting in everybody else in the world is on. I wanna be on the do not call list. We have people that said yes, put me on the call list. You know? It's amazing. Also, rob we tweeted it like in the middle. Just of like the day. One time we got like forty replies for Google form to fill out to send your phone number. We mentioned it like two hours into the podcast last week and another fifty people try to sneak in now last week. I said we would only speak to the people who got it in time. But I had I had a thought rob what the people who? So my tweet the only thing they did was like follow me on Twitter and fill it a form the last fifty should really have priority because they listen to our podcast for two hours. And then when and found the tweet themselves and wrote it in I think, those people are actually more impressive. Okay. So we've got a bunch of phone numbers. We will just jump right into this. We're just going to start calling people. And what are we going to do? We're going to actually try to see we can trick anybody into talking to us. I don't think we have to mostly do. Prank calls. We could start with the prank call and let's see if we can actually get one over on anybody. Okay. Fine. What are we praying that we have to have a plan coming in though, I think that we should start. We should be trying to sell something. Here's my idea. What if we're pollsters, and we're twenty twenties just starting and one of four like we're Peyton Manning for president twenty twenty calling. We want your opinion on like would you vote for Peyton Manning over if he primaries Donald Trump or like mitt, rob? Or if he runs for Senate and Tennessee or something? Okay. So I think that's a good idea. Tade manning for president twenty calling for well, if we know what state the person is we could sort of pick their state and say might run for Senate. Okay. But otherwise we'd do Peyton Manning for like, he's running independent campaign. Let's put him in the Senate. Let's not get ivine. You know, we bring, you know, the president into this that, you know, somebody might not want to get to political. And also, we don't even have to say what party. That's right. So we don't have to say what party because maybe he's running democrat. I don't know if he's reply paid manning is running for the Senate as an independent. No. Well, if the Senate he could you don't have to say, we don't have to save democrat or Republican AB. Manning has formed an exploratory committee. Yes. Manning twenty twenty. I just liked the idea if it was president could say it's like a manning manning ticket it's him and Chelsea Manning manning. Chelsea Petr, really mixed Republican, social, okay? Okay. Who should we call? We have numbers next eighty seven that one first. And then we'll get into like, congratulations. You have won crews, and we'll we'll get into like, we'll do a bunch of stuff. Okay. So if the people pick up, we'll just talk to them, right? Yeah. Sure. Well, if they are able to unmask us. Sure. Yeah. Okay. All right. So you do the talking for and then maybe you bring in you bring bring me and you start. Okay. I number on this spreadsheet not phone number. But like the row number of the the first person you want me to t. I'm going to say, let's call who's really gullible. We'll supposed to be an American half our listeners Canadian looking at these lists looking at the phone numbers. Okay. We got we got to find someone who we are in for first name and last name for this is just one of our listeners. We'll save. I if it's like a known commodity, it's one of our listeners who's like, then we'll say, otherwise, I'll just say first name and initial okay, let's go. I'm just being someone. I know lives in America. Let's go with thirty five. Okay. Number thirty five. Okay. This is the woman named Stephanie that you wanna call it. Right. Okay. Yeah. Let's call her. Okay. So her phone number is now people can't find these tones be able to good question figure out what they wanna know Stephanie's phone number that badly than God bless them. They can have it. Okay. Probably google. Okay. All right. So let them even know Stephanie's last night. Okay. What's what's the name of our polling agency? I think you're just calling for let's say just say, we don't wanna use a real company. Right. I mean, we're going to get sued. What are we going to do probably say, Reuters chrome will it's half real. Okay. Reuters chrome on Google Chrome usual. The first thing I opened. That's okay. All right. And what's my name? Jack Davidson, Jack Dave's sounds pretty made up. David jackson. David Jackson of David Jacksonville. Podcasting. Okay. All right. All right. Jack, Jack David now, we are gonna run to problem where only four percent of people answer their phone. Okay. We'll see. Now, we are relieving a message for anybody. If we get voicemail. Sure. Yeah. You can leave a mess. Okay. Or usually not everyone. Finally. All right. So I'm Jack Davidson, and I'm calling up from the lawyers, and we are from the exploratory committee for Peyton Manning for the Senate. What state that Stephanie lives in? I feel like it's in the mid west. Yeah. That he is not. Okay. So he is it doesn't matter. Like, we're just we're just calling from the exploratory committee. Yeah. That's true. That's true. But that's why I think it should be president because why pay manning running for let's say if they're interested in him for Senate will the maybe you like, okay, so pay me that Peyton Manning. And we have an issue with name recognition where it's like a. Different guy named Peyton Manning. If she calls us on it. Okay. Sure. Be Peyton Manning a guy. We don't think is related. He might be different different Peyton Manning. Okay. Danny Manning's a little brother. Peyton. Okay. All right. Closes stephanie. Yes. Hi, stephanie. This is Jack Davidson. People are all expecting our call. I'll right. Hours a week. I was so confident Stephanie row so confident he was gonna get you. I felt well we get we get more than a sentence out. Yeah. You didn't even get do you do, you know, robs number like, you knew the second. But now, but I've been so I don't answer my phone ever. If I don't know the thing, but I was thinking too yesterday K what what would be the potential cities that would come on my phone. I saw you know, it either long. Along. Numbers. You're the first one that we're trying to keep all right next person. Very first. Yes. Yes. Gullible. Okay here. Keep okay. Yeah. Okay. All right. Yeah. So next person will come up with somebody who's not going to be tell Steffi we were going to do. Maybe she could workshop it with us. Yeah. So plan was we're we're pollsters. And we're we're calling to see about we're from the exploratory committee for Peyton Manning for US Senate. We wanted to get your Joni the person's name, you're just taking the poll. I don't think if the say like is this Stephanie? I they have that information. I've had people call before. Where they make these polls law of averages like someone once would ask me on voting for. I don't think it's ever happened. Okay. Why really no been? That's a swing state. I think I tend to get more of that. I believe that Peyton Manning was running for Senate and Pennsylvania though there. Yeah. That's why I think it might have to be president for some of these people are up unless it's like a state. He's associated with like, Indiana, probably wanted Tennessee, you probably don't wanna get super political. But if you, you know, Diane were and or something timely, people might believe it more. But then, you know, more singer. Warren was like an actual politician. Okay. I don't know if we really want to get into people's opinions on Elizabeth Warren on this. It's not that type of show. What rob is? I think we should have quit. We should have a question that we ask every single person ask every single I think of a question you'll ask you a question. Yeah. I'll let me ask you Stephanie while rob things of question. He'll be my question for was taking up space in your head so much space in your head that they should be paying rent. It's. That's all anybody saying the political polling. So this is no who is taking you know. It's just like a once they've realized that we're breaking them. We're just gonna ask them real questions. So Stephanie who is taking up so much space in your head that they are and they're living rent-free, they should be paying rent. My kids. You should be paying. It's not a bad idea. Actually. Yeah. I feel like this is when a kiva is trying to act like he's way more hip than he might actually be. What do you mean? That's all anybody's been saying the the mean down straight though for the next one. I'll have it. You haven't seen? You guys haven't seen. This all anybody says and nowadays is living in their heads rent-free. I don't know what the we're just three parents. From definitely not who should be talking about anything. Yes. Okay. Seven. Did you have a topic that you wanted to ask us about? Boy, I don't know. Now, I'm so on prepared. I said I had a list your somewhat prepared. You're literally answering phone calls thing. Yeah. I answered at work and ran into a guest off real. Oh, gosh. Long Island pride you'd still have a five one six number. I have to say that for some reason I was under the impression that you did have a Long Island number might. He doesn't would narrow it down to burner phone. Did you have any takes in terms of best episode in worst Assode of rob McEwen? Even got a call the listeners their opinions already deeming us what they think with number grades of every episode. Well, so I I did make a very very last minute pitch to try to be the puppet pick correspondent. Yeah. Yeah. Very happy that you did daddy picks fun run up. So 'cause that is one of my favorites. And we watch a lot of Ryan's tour via size very excited to hear that too. I relate a lot of your take on. Instead, my husband who has watched a lot of Ryan be on. He might he thought they were very funny. My kids wanted to play Ryan the other day. It's like you be Ryan's dead. I want to be Ryan's dad. Oh, no. Would you play Ryan's debt? Just like we have. Her centering. Favorite take on that? That was that. They're held their new house. Looks like the apple store. Very everything is white. I don't know who it's little kids would move into a house like that. Like, I have watched the two videos Cal, it's a different different tax bracket. Yeah. Yeah. I know. And also I've been testing kiva about the jeopardy quiz because I take the jeopardy test every. We'll get jeopardy this weekend. Jeff busy with listening calling the listeners, but I will get that one up. All right. Seventy on this week's wheel. I might have to get it up next week. Anything else? We'll suggestion. You wanna pitch us on or anything? I really I really will. You did do it brand steal now. Because I had been my pitch for a long time. I just wanted some sort of brands steel that you did that I don't know season. Three episode seven I'm doing every watch that seventy shows making even consider that in the fish fishbowl should people with people like that that show has some legs. Rob. Yeah. You know, who I really? I probably been in the room when it's on. But I was never never saw it. You know, why you probably like you probably went away to college when it started. Yeah. Mind like I was in high school. So it was like, yeah. That makes. Every episode, and it's not it's nobody's number one show, but it's a solid show. But it's not if somebody. They're insane. But if someone said like, I'm rewatching it. I wouldn't blink an eye. Yeah. Netflix. It's like a super easy episodes twenty one minutes. I can like knock out eight of them after my kids. Go to bed. We we have ABC six people. My time and Stephanie real quick. What's your least favorite episode of Robin podcast? What I have to say themselves because I do near that. This was like a keep as baby, but I didn't your tweets or trash. I don't follow teeth out. Like, I know I do. Is hard. I like that you don't follow teed up some really spicy avatar tweets coming down the pipeline today from teed up. I did think it was funny that all the time on whatever the movies you were polling last week cave. Like, the have have you seen this? This one. I never remember like bring stuff up the next week. I'll get to that in the mail bag. Yeah. Polls of who's seen what moving. Okay, steph. Stephanie, you're like, basically our system here, you're reminding us of all this stuff the jeopardy quiz. She's like we're just calling up listeners and there remained reminding what to actually discuss. All right. Stephanie pickup pick a number between one and eighty seven seventy the next. Live with Regis and Kelly. She's going to pick a we call next unless I don't want to. We wish we call. Oh boy. You're less now. Can you give us a number between one and eighty seven? I'm sorry. Sorry. A number between one and eighty seven is this is this. Oh, gosh. A very simple question. Yeah. We're gonna hang up on her. Just think of. Okay. Number between alco with thirty three thirty three. Okay. All right. Seventy should my question to all the listeners be have you ever seen the emoji movie? Yes. Mike weights career. Okay. All right. Stephanie. Thank you so much. Okay. Thanks. Okay. All right. All right there. Go right. I got to say, yeah. Really like this, rob. I like calling the listeners this was so far so good. So this is a good omen so far for episode number twenty seven of Robin podcast. Yeah. By the way, she said thirty three, but I'm saying, let's call forty one your auto. More of feet. I think forty one. Yeah. That's right. That's the Peyton Manning theme. Okay. Are we sticking with with the fake this person? If they answer is answering picked another sharp here that is going to see through whatever. But I would rather speak to a stranger or someone. We know is gonna be fun to talk to. Well. I would rather somebody that I that we could get over on that this person is going to see right through whatever it, maybe if you started the phone call, maybe this would be a better a better chance. Okay, fine. We'll try that. All right. So you're going to start. We're still doing the polling thing. Yeah. We'll do the polling thing this. I zero percent chance that the the polling prank phone call is going to work. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Why don't you just how about this? Better candidate. Who's like we'll go back to polling just be saying that, hey, this number came up. Did you just call me? So just make like this was a misunderstanding. Okay. Okay. Maybe maybe in the confusion here that will be able to get one over on this person. Okay, fine. So this did you just call me that 'cause I got next from this number also. Okay. All right. So here we got caller number two here on Robin, Akiva, pranked listeners. See if this works. Somebody said the pocket should be called. Hey, you up that should be the name idol. Brandon wrote that. Did you like that for better name? I think in the original thing that we weren't really calling people like in the workday. But maybe not. Is like a hard at work today. All right. Let's was she was at work. She said she ran out of the room. She was excited. We call. Stephanie was okay. Let's try try this call. You're on a q. Yeah. Hello. You've reached a MandA Rabinowitz. Please leave me a message, and I will return your call as soon as I. Please record your message when you have finished recording hang up or press one for more options. You blew it. We called you live on air, and you probably like with your kids or at work doing whatever psychologists do what do you think psychologists are up? They study the brain. No. Yeah. It'd probably studying the brain I hear I don't wanna like throw him in under the bus. But I hear the fake I sort of wanted to discuss with our I've been hearing Alex Jones said the doesn't exist. Anyway, you blew your chance. Okay. My. Problem is going to be with these people that they're going to they're going to call back. And then it's going to be chaos chaos. The phone's to be ringing. We don't have to prank everybody. I think you know, you wanna keep praying. We could call Frank one person yet. Well, we're not gonna success we prank. Anyone he go through if we did all eighty six number of a number or we try to prank. Okay. Let's go for somebody with the first part of the list somebody that was not that that did not hero say podcast that we're gonna got a good idea. Good idea. Good idea. Okay. All right. Who you got? This is no. But this person is asked this person the person who's going to pick asked specifically for us to call. So that's not. We got who who could we prank? Try number fourteen number fourteen. Okay. He just tweeted at us like ten minutes ago. Okay. All right. So maybe might be unsuspecting. We're at you just thought. All right. All right. So maybe we need some sort of like, a voice changer device. And we do that. We didn't really think about that that your voices. Like, maybe next next time around ten episodes from now getting back on the wheel. I already town. Okay. All right. From Jack Davidson from Reuters chrome. My hand over my mouth. Hi, sean. This is a jacket. It's in from Reuters crown do you have a couple of minutes to talk to us about an exploratory committee for the US Senate. Or maybe there's US Senate. We have a candidate that we are doing an exploratory committee survey to see people might be interested to see this candidate run for the US Senate in the year, twenty twenty sure that sounds great. Are you familiar with Peyton Manning? I am do you have a positive or negative perception of Peyton Manning. Probably positive. Do you think Peyton Manning would be a good candidate for the US Senate? He'd be a great candidate. Do you have any positive memories in particular? When we talk about Peyton Manning. What's the first thing you think of? Papa John's pizza top not his NFL football career. Yeah. Kind of a large fellow. He's a big guy loves pizza. Are you familiar with kiva Winokur? I have heard of his name before. Yeah. Yes. Would she be good candidate for US Senate? Hey, would probably be better than paint. I here he likes all kinds of food. Hey, sean. Hey, guys. Sean did rob get you there. Did you think for a second? This was really Peyton Manning exploratory committee. Oh, really you were answering pretty earnestly had us. You should also go along with it for a minute. See how far we can go with it. Yeah. You think paid manning could be a good Senator though? Making. I don't I mean who can't are pant. I mean, I don't know. Yeah. Peyton manning. Joe any hour to just call them people. We're working when the light the other day. I didn't get a Monday. And then you're like, we should call them. They already called it. The timing didn't work out between New Year's and everything in a perfect world. Then people would be less suspicious. But then maybe wouldn't answer the phones. Well, I look at it. And I was like, Los Angeles. The rob reveal collateral issue. Nobody I don't not about phone call. Where are you at Sean? I am in south Alabama. Wow. Yeah. Alabama guy excited for Monday. I'm excited for Monday Ray. What is it going to be Alabama is playing who who they playing temple at Florida state? And Clemson we're supposed to lie to him sham. Be on the could like they're probably putting the jets really. Win. What's the line? If the jets are playing Alibaba's coaching the jets though in that game bait Alabama. Seventeen every I've ever say because every year it what would with NFL team. And no matter who it was the Browns. And what is always NFL team always wins? No matter what. No, I think that's that's safe. It's like grown men against children. But you're Alabama. We'd get up for that game. Whereas the NFL team sort of like the jets motivation. Yeah. Yeah. Want any of that? All back off. Okay. Keep it. You wanna ask your question? Yes. Sean who's taking up space in your head rent free right now. He's taking up space in my head ROY camin right now who's occupying space in your head rent-free like stop thinking about do you think one person is going to be able to answer? Talking about the young man if we call up call up like millennia finding okay next. The next challenge is going to be the let's call the one person you think is gonna be able to answer that question. Okay. Probably. Able to spit something around. My my kids are all right? All right to for two people complaining about their kids. Rough. What's your question? Have you seen the emoji movie? Yeah. I have not even know. I know I always love you. All right going on. Yeah. Fan of Mike. I have to tell you enter day. I think it was at the end of Star Wars than we we were going for the thing. It was so funny when a key to that it's going to be you know, maybe three or four days of watching. You have a lie. I have a right then it keeps your life. Fell out of my mail, truck laughing. Right. Sean is the mailman. It's Sean the mailman. I forgot that. You're are you working right now? Sean are you driving the job? I'm actually off today. So I would have answered no matter what. But I'm actually. Yeah. I guess I guess driving a mail truck. You can answer the phone most of the time when you're at work, right? That's not a bad. Over over to answer the phone them. All and I'm sure everybody around me. Here's because it's on a speaker. And i've. And i've. Why aspirin that rob was wondering why in Birmingham, Alabama? We have like forty thousand listeners only forty two. Here. I have a question. So my question is what is your second favorite podcast, assuming this is your first question we need? Consist of a man that ever been. Yeah. Has. What? World. Thirty two fans and thirty. Dale juniors. Download Pasco racing robs. Yeah. Okay. Big NASCAR guy. Okay. Yeah. All the stars are gone from NASCAR. Could you name? One. Current ask our driver for not Jeff ones. Do try to save Jeff Gordon, but he just retired all these guys. Guys. Yeah. Guys. All everyone. Everyone is famous retired danika. They'll genders I think is in DX, right? Yeah. He's a wrestler. There's there's a Dale Jarrett, and Jeff Gordon, they're gone. Tony Stewart all the big guys are gone. That's Kars kind of a bunch of down the jump in. Yeah. Ooh. Maybe that episode. Sean, Robin, Akiva, pick a favorite NASCAR driver. The only episode with your listeners other than shun ever be there. I'd be there. Doesn't matter. Kids shows trash. Okay. Sean. Thank you so much. Okay. I. Okay. All right. Bye. Bye. John. I feel bad. Amanda was probably now leaving me voice mail. So probably we'll say, okay, we'll get back to at the end we have to call millennial who's going to know we're talking about. Yeah. I'm gonna give you two millennials. And no, actually, I mean, I'll give you a millennial. Let's call our beloved Taylor Cotter. She's a millennial. You're talking about is she a ways head of this. We'll put her to sleep. You know, what I used to think she wasn't listening? But now she's sort of response. I think she is listening to this series. Okay. Number thirty six here is that. I don't know. Does she go buy her new name not Qatar? I'm not sure, okay. We'll say we'll ask that can be question. She didn't fight us to cheat to her wedding. She did not invite us to route. No, nobody invite me to their wedding. That's fine. Okay. No. We don't want to go to fight it. Why? Just like the principal. Lebron ain't gonna have this lying. She's she's not gonna fall for it. Qatar? Any message for eight five. All right. Okay. Who's your second millennial? Let's call. We need a millennia. Let's call Kirsten McGuinness. I don't know how to call can. But I feel like it's the same as the United. It's more expensive. It's very similar. I thought you were a quarter Canadian you've never called Canada before I don't even call America. Like who? I don't call. I don't use my phone. Who would I be calling? I am a cork Canadian. But I don't call other Canadians. Curse the number nineteen. Okay. All right. Mad that they didn't pick up. Came to pain management Kirsten. You're not gonna you're not gonna fall her. Came person. I couldn't get your car right now. Piece of the ball thing could leave it as long as they can hang up or press pound for more options. American person giving the voicemail Kirsten, it's Robin. Akiva, you blew it. You Mr. chance calls back if you get this. But I don't know should they call they call male podcast. We're the middle cross back manners. I got a text message from Kirsten well, terrible timing like sorry. She said that this text message from her terrible. Should've taken off words. We just timing. Nobody. Hugh wasn't like, hey, give us a block of time. That's good for you. That's really the other way we could have done we could have given like Google voice number and said like call in but you really do stuff like that. This is this is the better way to do it. We got we got a tweet today. Rob from Gina who said she's been answering her phone all week. And it's been telemarketers. Nonstop gotta give Gina call Gina's number twenty one Gena is number twenty one. It's really spelled. Are we going to go ahead with? She literally just tweeted, listen, our and said that she's waiting for call. What state is she from? With no idea. She sounds like the mid west. Okay. All right. I know Gina. I don't know. I'm not sure the terrific Nassar. Hi, this is Jack black and I'm forming an exploratory committee to run for the US Senate. No, this is Bob sister knee. God we got. Oh my God. Act black. That's the best you come up with. And Akiva is here to Gina. Yes, gina. You tweeted at us. And you said you keep picking up because it was telemark. Telemarketers calling. I guess it was us. I actually thought unless you met that you got twenty calls since you sent us your number that we were giving out your number two. Tele marketers, maybe that's no, no, no. I know what I thought was that. I just always on the lookout always hoping that it's you guys. But. Oh. Monday. When we posted the Senate sewed. Since Monday oka- always since Monday. But always sense. You guys started the podcast to I've just always wanted to random call. Okay. Rob. Should we guess people? Want us to gamble? Should. We guess what state gene is. We do a draft. Let's do a quick state draft wins. Okay. State. Okay. I'll say, Illinois, Missouri. I'm happy. Right. Yeah. If someone gets that you could say right there keep going up. We get five. Okay. All right. All right. This is boring. Nobody, you know, people like it people want us to gamble. More got. Yes. Jay. What's morning? Okay. All right, Texas, Kansas throughout this more states at the problems like Stephanie before these Vania Iowa. Become close, Florida, Georgia. Virginia state, West Virginia. That's a bad. Nobody was all right Gina. All right. We get in the who won. No one. Live. I live in New Mexico. But I do have in laws that live in Missouri. Okay. All right. We're taking about forty. I forgot the New Mexico state. We might have started guessing doubles got the New Mexico decided. Yeah. Okay. All right. So gina. You wanted us to call. What did you wanna talk about? I just wanted to get on the phone with you guys. So exciting Akita on the phone while we're while we're while we're going other people you just want to be on the phone. Ooh. That would be fun to you know, I've got a question. I don't know how that works logistically. One of my friends. She's trying on wedding dresses right now. He's a big fan of your show to you wanna call one. We're friends. Call one of my friends that is a friend of the podcast is. Well, wow. You get into it that she get you into it. Like, are you just like randomly are you in a Facebook group in New Mexico for our fans? No, no, no, no. We're like mutual friends. And then she was like, hey, you should listen to news. Af why are you watching survivor? So then I started doing all these things, and then he just shows up in in the in the podcast feed. So I started listening to you guys to achieve me onto you guys genome John to something because if art waving working her friends. Yeah, I agree. If our voices are too recognizable. We might conferencing, fourth person and call and Sheena do the Frank phone call and people will never suspect that are prank phone call is actually another listener. Okay. But this is a bad example. Because this person knows that we. Are up. Right. This is a bad thing on wedding dress. What are you in the wedding or you in this wedding? I am okay made. So let's try this Akiva, bride give us another number or keep picking other number from the spreadsheet. And then let's call that person. Gina you're gonna you're going to do the pranking. Okay. Okay. I'm terrible at pre. Jones prank need I need. Your calling for that you want to run for mayor of their town. Okay. We're gonna call now. Yeah. Only three lives in Oregon. You're running for argon state Senator. Okay. Roaring twenty. Okay. Wait. Do I need to give it my name. Fake name. Your name is good. You're you have a good state. Senator name I think or fake last name fake last name. Okay. All right. Oregon state Senate. Twenty twenty for the Senate in Oregon. Okay. Because I says local like, yeah. I need a new last name a new last name and your. Johnson jeans joke. I got. Gene is named spell with a j. So is your fake Gina? Name also smell the J J Gina with Ajay. So and what's her platform? She needs a really good platform. Well, you run for Senate not state Senate. So we've got to think more statewide. What's a big problem? Let's see problems in Oregon isn't homeless people in Portland. Yeah. But we don't know if she's four the almost people are against them. If you do you want to want to legalize homelessness? Movin. It's got to be. I mean, that's fine. But she I don't think she like lives in Portland. What should? She would just go with you wanna get political wonders be like. No. Her platform should be something. Ridiculous ridiculous. Okay. I agree. Yes. But okay. So what's good platform? Gina what what would you run on? That's like silly that. You would let's how about you. You wanna make a garbage pickup four days a week? What? No what about a lower the smoking age sixteen. That's not bad. Yeah. How old vote seventeen or eighteen? I think if you like if you team eighteen to smoke and vote. Yes. Okay. Okay. Well, let's monks twenty drinks Twenty-one GM. Was there anything that? We said that you feel comfortable about you're on your own. Yeah. I don't do Anina the person who calling his Nina. I'm calling. Okay. So I'd say Hello, Nina. I'm Jeanne Johnson. I'm running for Oregon Senate. And more and more as I wanted to run a few issues by you. And then just make up issues like raising thirty or something like that. The drinking age thirty probably not a bad idea. Freaking ages. Yeah. All right. All right. Let's look let's get a shot. Okay. Let's see if we can just go ahead and see if this works. What was the number that you of the the line on twenty three Michael Jordan? All right. Twenty three Michael Jordan. Okay. So let's see if this if this works. Gina Nina connection, if my phone is going to give it away when when you saw my area code, did, you know instantly that it was going to be a prank phone phone. Call. Now, I get numbers like from everywhere. They that's what I said. It was. Warranties on my car. Okay. Lady, I think like I think our credit card. I think like her identities been stolen and they use my phone number. Oh, that's three years. I've been getting phone calls for this other lady, answered them identity was stolen. I think you have my phone number. We'll do let's do that one next kief. Okay. That's on putting on the board. Okay. No. But not for you, gene. Scars your day. All right. All right, gene. You ready? Okay. I am Nina Johnson. No. That's her. You're the cheetah. They're literally, I'm Keana. Okay. All right. We're calling it together. Okay. I'm doing it. Ready, please leave your message for five zero three. Voice. I think that we should call my friend, Jessica because she was super stoked to also get a phone call. Let's get on the prank the Gina prang people for now. Let's call Jessica quickly because we got other people together. All right. So here at set you say her number I'll cut that out of the podcast. Okay. Hold on. Let me find it. It is two two eight. And what should I say? What should I say to her it what we say? Actually, they're actually on the way to New Orleans to do her dress sitting. So also also on a stripper that was hired for a veteran for part about. I don't know where to be. Okay. That was just the first thing that popped in my head. Okay. So she's living your head. Apparently. Rob has got one question. Besides anything H A P or the thirty two fans podcast. What what is your favorite podcast? Listen to my favorite is reply all from it's a vote, and Alex Goldman. But you don't know which ones which when they talk right because I don't I listened. Whoa. I don't know. Who's who it's hard to tell? Yeah. It kind of is at first. But if listen to all your hundred thirty episodes, then inside, you know, what my problem with reply all is Robin Gina with the banter is very scripted. You the banter scripted this banter is is script free. It has improved can't banter. They script. All the Rams. I think okay. I think they do. It's from Alex Bloomberg's time on planet money, send this American life. Those are good. So I think he wanted to bring like. Hon internet things but in a higher position. On internet scripted banter, scripted banter, Gina you nailed it. You're hundred ten right. Why they do it? But yet. Okay. All right, gene. Thank you so much. Thank you. You're the third co host. Rob Makita podcast. Okay. Okay. Time if anything happens to achieve that. You're the next phone call. Okay. Perfect. Okay. All right, Gina. I look forward to have fun at the bachelorette party this Martin Luther King day weekend. Okay. All right. Thank you Martin would want. All right. Bye. All right Akira. We've got a couple of people. There have been with Anka all want us to call them all at the same time. And then patch them in talking to themselves. Okay. Fide that'll be our grand finale. We'll call it. We'll call back. Three people. We missed initiate a call to the issues. Besides herself. We definitely have to call. Amanda said it was waiting for a California number. Okay. All right. I think Taylor was which number is Tim on the spreadsheet. All right. Shut up. Tim is number thirty eight number thirty eight. Okay. I haven't good names. I feel like we we might have do this again. So many people I wanna talk to know. Well, what are you going to? Okay. All right. We promise the call eighty six that would have been. I have a telemarketing script here. Keiv perfect. We use that or should I guess tails, stealing our identity. Yeah. I think try telemarketing. But I do think he's probably expecting us. All right. He knew that he could be onto us. All right. So let's go ahead. And I have a sample dialogue for a telemarketing call. So all right. So I am the person. And I am calling from walkers oil service, I googled or sample telemarketing script. I'm gonna follow follow them. Okay. All right. What? Calling then forwarded to come on eight eight one. All right. Look, you know, we blew it. Yeah. Now, I think it's only in Pepe pig land. Wherever that is wasn't showing belly all other countries. Besides the United States. Okay. Okay. What what? Hi, this is Jack Davidson, I'm calling from walkers oil service. How are you today? Good. Thank you, very good. As you may not know Walker oil is one of the oldest and best known companies in all of Canada with a reputation for high quality oil, excellent maintenance service and timely livery. Could you tell me if you were to use oil gas or electric heat in your home? I do not. Well, oil burners fuel-efficient workhorses that regular maintenance to prevent costly fuel bills. Can you tell me if you've had your oil burner inspected or cleaned in the past six months now, I just go only have is smoking smoking oil smoking oil. You're on Robin. Need a podcast, and I was reading a sample telemarketing script. Rob improved for the next prank. Call. The voice. It's too. Exactly. Well, what can I do? What can maybe I should do it as an impression? Maybe if I have one of my impressions, I could do. Yeah. I think you'd be a little Norwegian your there. Norwegian. Russell. Yes. All right puja. Your question, Akiva. Oh, yeah. Puja? How old are you? If you don't mind saying. Question. Six perfect. So you're a millennial who who is taking up space in your head rent free right now. Question. Right. Like, you're familiar with that current sort of Meam thing, right? Most the mom most of the moms we've called so far don't talk about. Taylor swift taking up space in your head rent-free. Are you ready for her big Netflix special? I am definitely not why. Okay. Not here for us. All your Taylor swift hater. Ooh, that's the one. That's me. He's in the army navy. Ran a navy. Yes. Not the up space in your head rent-free. He said tiller swift. Oh, pay swift. I thought you asked him if it was Taylor Joe. He said, hey, Taylor swift. Why what did she do what she to what she do you block, you know, just fan just annoying? Wow. How much to it? Yeah. Are you gonna get added? Or do we do we not have a lot of Taylor swift stands in the Robin? Akiva, listening audience because I feel like. Similar? Yes. Basically everywhere there are sleeper. Swifty. I do despite being added. And that's and they go up against the Rhonda navy. Yeah. Wow. Okay. All right. Rob you have a question. Besides anything RHA P or thirty two fans. So what is your favorite podcast around this questions, crushing it? So far has already cheap e or thirty two fans. I mean, listen to a bunch of fantasy basketball ones 'cause I've been going. But that's about it. What what's the preeminent fantasy basketball podcast? It's a question. I don't know. So there's a couple there's a rotor Wirawan that listened to. But then there will K. And then I do listen to the starters as well. Yeah. Pretty decent fellow Simone fans. The starters. Yeah. Okay. Ski who's your basketball team? Okay. My team. I would say I root for the Oklahoma City thunder because my dad went to university in Oklahoma. Okay. Good enough action, but will accept it. Yeah. Okay. Keep any questions for puja. I yeah. I got one more question for you. It may do you have a choice ten million dollars or world peace. What are you choosing? What would you rather? And you could be honest. We're all friends here all front gave me the world peace. Okay. Is it considered murder? If it happens during a war of boy. Wanna go there? Can I give my answer off the air? Okay. All right. You can't. If you want to you Deanna, Akiva. All right at me. Okay. All right. Who what do you have a take on? What what was the best episode in the worst episode of Robin? Akiva, a podcast. Okay. Best. Listen, if you don't listen, that's an acceptable answer. I wouldn't put my number in if I didn't listen, okay? Some people. Did you surprised there's a couple I haven't I haven't listened to the Star Wars because I've not watched any of my life. If the only people who should listen to it. I think the nonstop. That's like the quotes that out. I was a big fan of the the lists trash for great. Oh, wow. Yeah. The hot take. But. Okay, take. All right. Yeah. So all right. So puja is thinking about how much he doesn't like Taylor swift. And it was with space in his right? He likes tenor trash, and he would prefer world peace over ten million dollars. Beautiful. Okay. Good, man. All right. Thank you. Okay. All the best buddy. Okay. Take care guys. How good luck? Peace world peace. We got a call a couple of people back quickly. And then we could go. Okay. All right. What what what row on the spreadsheet? Am my looking at. Okay, forty y. Let's forty one. A man does devastated. Okay. All right. Let's go ahead. And that we can just ask people like what gives why didn't they answer our call? Did they is that like their normal behavior? They think it's telemarketer or what then we get improve this format for next time. Yeah. We could ask them for their feedback on the road. Hello. You've reached Amanda recalled ups. Call it cash should. Points. Record your message when you have finished recording. One for more options. May the two strikes you're out on rob a E pay. This is just the at me and said, you're besides yourself. Call me back. We wanna talk CTE and how it's not real we call you back. And I I assume you're at work, but you should've cancelled all your clients or studying rats, or whatever you guys do were set your kids, the sitters really, I take this as a personal insult. I don't about you, rob at this point. Like, Amanda is is on my do not call list for future episodes. All right, man. Thank you. Okay. All right. We'll talk to you on the next pranked listeners phone show. Wow. Wow. Okay. All right. Amanda, man. She really blew it. Okay. All right. Who else who did Kirsten say we should call her back? Yes. Yes. Okay. Let's call. All right. Ladies didn't answer not Robin is used to being Nordby women. Actually, she did not say try me back. She just said it was terrible timing. So maybe they might be terrible time. Did she DM? You all these people DM me except no Kirsten s you might actually not be. All right. What she should do. She should like show this their boss and be like, wow. I they called me. And I was actually let's try Taylor last time Taylor. Okay. Not the Taylor. That is thinking about how much he does not care for. All right. Let's go ahead and give this show shot. Now. Amanda is calling me here. Just answer her on speakerphone, but she won't be able to to hear you. Okay. All right. All right. All right. Yes. Amanda, just picked you up on speakerphone because it doesn't go into the system to do the podcast when you call back. Kiva is really not happy with you. And I'm the one who didn't show up for the live Seinfeld too. She was already that was actually strike one. I don't know. I don't know when the phone rang when you call them right here. Okay. All right. It'd be locked. All right. Do you have a message for for us real quick? Like a quick message about about CT. No, not about CT. I ask them into question. Rob. And then you'll rely okay? With whole key the want to ask you a question wants as you. Okay. Question. I'm going to relate to you. Okay. All right. Amanda who is living rent free in your head right now who is living rent free in your head right now. Even mean, see, you could tell she's a mom. She's got kind of she doesn't know what that means her. She's not him alone. Now. Yeah. Kiva said that's just a question that he's asking people to make it seem like he's really hip and with it. With it for me. Okay. Amanda, take care. Okay. All right. All right. Let's one last one. Okay. We'll try Taylor Cotter go right back to Taylor and chi-china claims to be the number one, Akiva, STAN when the first time she called she should've quit her job in order to take my cautious. Here's the thing. She's still in the meeting. Okay. All right. So I was gonna say if Taylor doesn't pick up then we'll have a second chance. But this is it last phone call last call one of the day. Yeah. Yeah. Getting nervous at this point. It's becoming like a rain out almost. Hello. Hello. Is this Taylor? Okay. This is Cory Booker. Oh my God. On forming an exploratory committee for running for president. Congratulations. Yes. What do you think of Peyton Manning as a running mate? I think that's a great idea. I seen no potential issues. I think any celebrity can be president. So I think that. Shia they want to see a man and another man as president and vice president doesn't care what it is be. All right. This is Robin. Akiva, we just pranked you. You were Rene. I couldn't I can't believe it wasn't really Cory Booker. Would you rather the Booker manning ticket or Peyton Manning is president Chelsea Manning? Vice president manning manning, I think that the gradient Harris, Danny the secretaries Kate. That's absolutely. So Taylor should should. I be hang a podcast about masked musicians. Nass musicians. I really think so I don't know if you do the whole thing, but it was great it is series. Or is it just one episode? I thought it was going to be one episode. But it's a serious. They only reveal the one mask guy at the annual premise real quick. My actually, yeah. It's confusing of this. I just saw in the Facebook group it came at a nowhere. Nobody's talking about. And now, it's all people are talking about right? Yes. Yeah. It was great on. So there were six celebrities, and they were dressed in these really elaborate mascot, like artistic costumes, and they each there were. They were battled kind of like the voice so one to time they carry okayed and saying like, you know, pop songs, and they were probably prerecorded you couldn't really tell 'cause their cost then the audience votes on who they like that are and then at the end, whoever had the least amount of oats pro like, I think got to mass right? Take their they get on that they take their mask off. And then they go home, and it was Antonio Brown. Yeah. Isn't that? It's so. Sports fans. Not a great pilot reveals Brown is not that is it is right now. He's living rent-free in a lot of people's heads key. That is a Taylor. We got a big question for you. You might want to sit down for this Molyneaux, right? Right. Was living rent-free right now in your head. Who's living rent-free in my head is all any. Alexandria, conscio- Cortes, usually, it's people. It's a negative thing. When people say living. They should be paying rent and taking up space for free. I think now unless you're saying like, oh, no, I'm really into. Like. We know what is like and he's really bothered by AFC. And now, I'm mad. Yeah. That's not what you know. I I like her very frustrating right now. I I'm sorry. I don't have a good answer. I'm like it's new year. You know, like, maybe maybe decades of improv train, you could have given us a good answer. I know right. And then and then Taylor, what is your favorite podcast. Besides anything are HP or thirty two fans. Your big a big gonna say. Gonna say their fans dress. What what what is your favorite podcast right now? My favorite off network podcast is work. Okay. Yeah. You are you burger brigade or or or or or you big Nikai? I was it was nation for a long time. And for long time. That was the only reason I listened to the podcast. I said, I don't know why. But I just I love both of guys so much. I think they're so funny. And I I also like chain restaurants. I think it's very sort of American like appeal things I've never been ten this weird thing where it's like if someone's podcasting met space 'cause I can't eat it really any chain restaurant besides like Dunkin donuts, so I'm hearing. Ever into kosher? There's nothing there's no none of these chain restaurants. Go for except for like, very simple ones like Starbucks. Yeah. Daily boys were really really zone, you know, zoning rob out here. Now, obviously, I know I was mad of Delhi boys because they had these patriot levels Robbie my want to get a coffee or go to the bathroom for second. That they did all the host inside Jewish baseball jokes. They're all kosher that and they didn't do six thirteen which is the most basic Jewish number. And I tweeted them, and they didn't change it. It's now mad at them. They do not Judaism. Yeah. I I. Yeah. They're just capitalizing on. Hey, guess, but. But judy. I heard they're gonna get released some point anyway. So someone said Taylor it right now in the patron group that I should explain the bible to rob the way he explained Star Wars to me. Just like a part of it. Maybe he gave a specific portion. He wants me to explain. Yeah. What keeps you have like a working knowledge of every chapter of the bible. I mean, I know it like didn't I go to Hebrew school for twenty years or something? I don't know Kate. I don't know what goes on college. Yeah. Yeah. I mean is there going to be any bible stories that really blow my mind? I mean, if you really unfamiliar with the bible like, I almost feel bad about spoiling them for you. But I mean, if people want to hear that we can put that on the wheel, I think we'll to sleep even quicker do know anything about the bible Old Testament. We're not get into that New Testament stuff. Do you know anything about the Old Testament? Do I know anything about the Old Testament Taylor? I know you don't know anything about they'll test the new one forget about the old one. None do Judaism. Yeah. Taylor. What what's your opinion on on the Old Testament? Are you fan? I like some both. I went to Catholic school. So I both have the bible education. Both are good. I would say the Old Testament is little more like it's like shakes you to your core. Little more than news, which is a little more like a eight a be if you if that makes a good story. Yeah. Kiva you should check out the sequel, if you if you really liked the the first book that that I know you stopped with the Harry Potter books after six you should read on. It's not truly a cycle. That's way, more popular than the original. Yeah, check it out. Are you guys editing the together or is this all like stream and or? Numbers in the. That's an issue having like racist. Missed you need us to cut out. I didn't know it was interesting. We have one more question for Taylor. And then I think we're gonna end this segment. So you got married recently. Right. Yeah. You didn't fight us to the wedding. What the hell you did not invite rob or myself to the weight on this than I? Yeah, we're upset. What happened? I'm sorry. I only invited twenty people in my way. Twenty rob. I thought we were top ten for sure. Yeah. I didn't realize that. Yes. Let's be honest on the next on the next one. Well, her name. I don't know if you use 'cause you wrote in your your maiden name because you're you're old fashioned and your yes and your new so if you I hope I wish a long life to to to your husband, Luke. It's Luke right me. Yes. Yes. But like, let's say, let's say, you know, after hundred twenty years, he's gone. That's what the Jewish people because only most Moses lifted one twenty and then you have to get married, and let's see marry like John Yates, then your initials would be TCP y. I I thought a lot about this. Now that I have now that my initial TB I really have your records there. There. Law has been married a few times, and like she has all the maiden name's and her her maiden name names on Facebook. And it's only four names. But it looks like thirty when you're looking at it like if you're just looking like, oh, she's been married. Eight times or it's like one of those people that makes their Facebook name like John Jacob jingle Hammerschmidt or something like a joke. Long name. It looks much worse. So I do think people have to draw like what is she sixty years old. She thinks people from high school or still looking up, and they only know her maiden name like it doesn't say are not going to find there. I don't know Robin car. All right. Taylor. Thank you so much. Okay. Thank you guys. I that I I love listening to the podcast in waiting. So the end when you say my name. That's that's my treat for me. All right Taylor. Take care. Okay. I buy buy buy. There you go we pranked prank phone call. We got him. Good. They got Rene. He ever net. We did it. They said it couldn't be done. But we couldn't be done. But we did it. Want to say on this subject? No, I do think. I like this idea. I do think we have to sort of figure out a way to like get people to answer though. I guess we could just cut out some of the future. We'll be fine. Okay. Don't answer. All right. I do feel like you have a fifty percent answering right, right? From his next time. We're not asking for numbers again. We're just if we do this again recalling the same people, right? Fewer right now around we should have our listeners won't like we'll have the time. And then we'll sort of like have our listeners in on. And they could be like oh prank. My wife and make sure that they're like the Gina thing was almost gold if we had gotten Gina to prank, Nina, we that would've been a real good. So I think we need to really just tweak anywhere almost there. Maybe they're like the idea we might have to tweak it and another option. Rob is what if we say like, we're not going to tell you when. But at one point like I'm going to tweet for like. Ten minutes. It can't be you. Then we'll get like hundreds. But I'm going to tweet for ten minutes. And like, I'm gonna leave the form the way it did this time. And if you're available today sign up, but if you're not don't bother us. Yeah. We have it will work. Okay. Now get to episode twenty seven and talking about whether or not they should come back. Then we'll have it all figured out by that beautiful. Okay. All right before we get to talking about the wheel. We completely did a spring cleaning coming into the new year. I'm really happy. I use might be in hindsight. This on the mailman really wanted you to be stuck watching an episode of CSI New York every day this past week. This was five. My my only concern was when we were saying that we were going to need to do this podcast before it the last one goes out. I'm like, well, that's that would have gone even worse because nobody would answer to create a real logjam for me. I gotta get these podcasts out. We're up against New Year's also I wanted to sort of like be done with work for a couple of hours. So this is good. Yet. Let's let's quick mail bag this week. We're really refreshing the mail bag and also the wheel is almost over full at this thing. Yeah. So let me just give you a couple couple ideas. Okay. Okay. Go for it. Kristen is a question because a lot of people like the Star Wars idea or Harry Potter where an expert at you or me or guests come on. And explain something to one of us who is totally ignorant about it. Like we talked about the bible earlier. Right. So Christmas is are there any other conic franchises that? Rob can explain to Akiva. Okay. Now. I think that you would have to say that, you know, I am an expert AIn other conic franchises as well. We have to bring somebody in. But I mean what what are the icon? Ick franchise. We've already done Harry Potter. We've already done Star Wars somebody said Star Trek. I don't think that's conic enough. I think the people like it or obsessed with it. But I don't think enough people air. Yeah. I think that Star Trek is I I mean, it's so many different subsets of Star Trek of the radio series. And even if you couldn't it's we're Star Wars is. A classic trilogy of films. It's Star Trek. The original series is like seventy six TV episodes, and there's not really a beginning middle and end. So I guess you could try to do that with the Star Trek movie franchise, but I don't think it would play nearly as well. Okay. I say we're open to suggestions on this. But this is not fully formed enough. Come back to us with the franchise. You want us to cover? I don't know what this means. But I'm gonna read this to Mike from Pittsburgh says Robin, Akiva, play the opening mission to video game classic final fancy eight and predict what happens in the future guest on Jesuit tell them how wrong they are. It's basically an excuse to get Josh wig back on the podcast. Yeah. I think that's fine final fancy eight because I've heard of it. But I don't know what video game. I think it's a little too neat. Yeah. So. Yeah. One day. I'll learn how to pronounce that word properly. I I don't think that's. Going through for me dog. Okay. Harry. Kane says what's up guys? I know. No, you're really sensitive to the plight of the non sports fan listener to RAM EP. But alas I think it's time to put some sports back on the wheel. May I present to you? Robyn Keita's Mets cast or jets cast, aka Robin, kiva Nita real baseball football team. I think this was making fun of you would go through your past president future following with your beloved Mets to be honest. The most want to hear about Rob's recounting the time he got booed at Fenway park. I don't think I know that memories of nineteen eighty six I think I was wondering diaper and Bobby Buni uptakes also provide profits, and you could take over unders and characters in the mad dog. Yeah. So just going on that is there any sort of sports team that we could adopt for podcast because he wants us to adopt a different sport. Obviously, we're not going to like adopt the baseball or football team because we're loyal to the Mets and the jets, right, Sean the mailman wanted us to adopt like NASCAR driver. I like that might be more. Like the NASCAR thing might be. More fun. If somebody came in and was trying to get us to be on board with something with with Nashville through our selves like full throat into NASCAR. We just became like NASCAR super fans watched every race. Yes. A lot of work though, that seem like a lot of work. I would be open to Sunday like a sequel to the mat in game with calling a baseball game. I feel like right? We could do that baseball season would do that off the other thing people have suggested is should we have a one week wheel for the Super Bowl matchup like a sort of an exploding spot on the wheel where to spots where we announce these role matchup once it is known in the one week between the chimp games in the Super Bowl. So we are going to be calling the Super Bowl. It's like saints chiefs. We're going to announce the we'll play we'll we'll have the same the same way. We did less. I'm saying for jeeps and worthy. The announcers for the Super Bowl over wins that game wins. I mean, I understand. The why? But is it funny in any way, you I dunno? I thought it was funny last time. But it was it was the jets, and it was like, we cares Astrum. We took it pretty seriously. So I think that that was that there was some comedy there. But I I know sure necessarily if there's a lot of like real versions of that. Yep. Probably true. Yeah. Robin have a morning show. That's that's the whole post. I want to go to work show on. That's it. There's nothing to go. You got to all right in some gold out of that. So I kind of feel like that. Maybe is it like a live version of the pod get rob? We have a morning show. So I think we'd have to like it wouldn't be morning for you. But come on. And it's it's live. And is it like a morning, I guess it's morning radio sharply. Right. So why do we have to do it at the like morning we doing it like at six o'clock in the morning on six well that no nobody's asking you to wake up at three AM Pacific. I'm that's I might do it. If if. Like eleven eastern eight Pacific or something of an eastern eight Pacific. We're doing it live. Nobody's gonna be watching at six. So what are you doing on the morning? So it's a morning radio show is sort of like z morning zoo type show, I don't know in my head. It does. There's no explanation in my head. It's it was more like Regis and Kelly. They have like a guest. I mean, I don't know if we need a guess, I was thinking more like read the news of the day and go over it nothing that Manson show. That's like, it's all banter. That's even too much for. I can't believe it's just panther. Like, we're not breeding the news on I can't mind. It's like on like parks and recreation when they have the morning show. That's like in the do. I kind of feel like that's what there's something. Yeah. I think there's something here. I just don't know what exactly we should do. Okay. All right. So let's put way down because we have a strong enough take on it. Okay. So we'll put that in the waiting room. I people want Rivera excited about millennial judge. But nobody sent us in a case like put that on the wheel. I do think that maybe could take phone calls live on the morning show where where it's like a morning radio show. All right. Let's go to the callers that we could do that's not a bad idea. So it's almost like a live version of the show, and we have to come up with some. Morning radio bits. So maybe like the first half is is bits, and maybe a quick news briefing and Ryan, but like sort of evergreen, not like. Team with the traffic. All right looking out there. Yeah. It's not bad. So this something there, John, John, the weather man, I think it's cold outside. I think I think there's a germ of an idea may we'll we'll put it on the wheel next week. Maybe if somebody could punch that up. Yeah, I think that's getting close to the wheel are one more thing. I think we go straight into the wheelspin unless you unless you're going for more ideas Taylor Taylor Cotter who spoke to had sent in a season three episode seven. It's really I think pitching herself to get on the show which she just did. Consider throwing in degrassi the next generation season. Three episode seven. It's very digestible episode, and it's a real turning point in the series. Thanks, okay. Do you have any sort of spirit, Drake? I know Drake is in there. I'm not sure if he's in the next generation or the first one, I is that an American one in a Canadian nothing about the Grassi. Is there a lot of make fun of? I mean, listen, the Taylor seems to think it would be funny. She's a comedy expert. I think the ideas she would be explaining it to both of us. Neither of us. Some of these like, I really know where you really know where we both know. And we like it here is something where neither of us know anything it's not super exciting for me. But I think the young people really liked the Grassi if young people really like if it's living rent-free and people's heads. No, it's the opposite rent-free and people's head is like is is the people they is not that people. They like, the hidden mask singer is living rent people and people said rent-free and people said, so what do you call somebody that you really like that you think about a lot? You're just like standing them or something they're they're subletting in my head. No, we're giving them. I don't know. We're like. This person to we want them to read. The that's true. Yeah. Not sure they're like the Bank, and I'm mortgaging my ex someone sent this in. But I didn't I didn't add it to the mail bag so much come on and explain millennial terms through kiva that at the time. I didn't like the idea. And now, I think we need it. Yeah. No. I like that idea. I'm gonna find the idea. I like hearing about any, you know, at the risk of losing some of my street cred, you listeners I like that you know, any any term that's new I like to I like to know about it. I agree. I I don't know. I don't wanna live in a world that passes me by Keefe. I almost don't even whoever sent that has the recent because I don't even know how to search for that. If if it was at the Amer at tweet or Email, and if they were pitching themselves, but re pitch that, and I think we could put that on we wouldn't out one. We would need somebody to come on. And then make it would be like make us cool. Yeah. Well, yeah, obviously. Yes. Okay. I be on make us beyond sleek that what the kids are signing over will stop saying though is over like grandma say on fleet. We gotta find out what the cool people are saying. And then we can say it to the second. We find out there onto the next thing. So it's like a ruin. Cool. Yeah. Yeah. All right. So keep degrassi is going into the fishbowl. Correct. Right at down Qatar. What a day for her. She appears on her favorite podcast. Besides second favorite podcasts after Doboy guess, and she has possibility make second appearance, actually, I didn't mention this. But people were kind of stunned that the calling the listeners episode made it on the wheel in one week. Some people thought it had, you know, some people say like oh era has earned pinstripes yet on the Yankees. Like, he you know, he he hasn't earned his pinstripes. He doesn't really he's only been there short time. I think people thought that calling the listeners hadn't really earn its RA any pinstripes like how could it get on the wheel after one week? Yeah. I understand that. But look it happened is the luck of the draw someone wrote in and said their Email address was like how the hell did this get shows already at Tf dot org and their number was nine eleven nine eleven nine eleven. That's the real number nine one one not nine eleven. Yeah. So look on prices, right? You could have somebody who's down their whole time. Yup. And all age Johnny come lately. Then they go right up. So it always pained me. I wonder how often someone's the first person called never goes up Tiv. So I also want to add in one other ones. This came up on our monthly patron cast, a long time listener REO Glassman called in. She said how is the Brady bunch not already in the fish tank. Okay. I mean, I I was fine with the Brady bunch of definitely watched it s- some episodes as a kid. Yeah. Are people going to care? Yeah. I definitely I we just put the Grassi into the rob Grassi's way more popular than than than Brady bunch and twenty nineteen whatever your this. That is factually inaccurate. You want to put up a poll right now. Hey, what do you like, by the way, speaking of polls? Can I can I read you the results of the of the movie polls that we did a couple of weeks ago? Let me just say that with a with a section of the audience. Digress. He certainly is. More popular with listeners under but it's it's two separate circles. Because everyone over forty has never heard of degrassi and loves the Brady bunch and anybody under thirty has never heard of the Brady bunch and nine. Never heard of the Brady bunch that everybody has heard of my kids couldn't tell you. What the Brady punches probably. Probably. Zales kids L all my daughter's thirteen. All right, fine. Maybe people under thirteen don't know what the Brady bunch is. I would say that you know, anybody over forty could probably name all six of the Brady killer Marcia, Marcia, Jan? And and you know, anybody over thirty certainly at least is has a wariness of the Brady bunch. So I mean this Drake was in the Grassi Drake is way more famous than the Brady bunch ever was. I don't know if that's ready bunch was more famous than see this is why we need a young person to come on. And explain what's cool 'cause they'll tell us the Drake is cool and the Brady bunch knock will there was a point though, where every single person in America knew who the Brady bunch was not everyone American who the president. Is you ever see these polls? It's like do you believe in unicorns and twenty percent automatically say, yeah. In nineteen seventy three that. I'm sure that there were three channels. So I guess back then people knew it. I mean things things that were. Popular were insanely more popular than anything. That's always. That's true. That's that's kind of a good point. So other than like the Super Bowl like nothing really has that sort of national appeal. Right. I think that people there is definitely people who would be excited if to Grassi got pulled. But I think it would be more people who at least were interested in gifts for the older people and vice versa. The Brady bunch might be skipped for the young about. They agree to listen to each other's episodes. Fine. That's fine. Yeah. Let's make a pack. Okay. All right. What percent of people rob have seen the two thousand nine film avatar? What do you think we had five hundred votes for most of these five hundred five hundred are a listeners who follow me on Twitter. Yeah. And how many of them saw avatar? I would say sixty two percent. Ooh, that's close sixty five. How many people saw the original? Line king. That was your idea in the poll. I would say eight percent. Yeah. Ninety four it was really high. I came out to the movie anchorman, which was people said why is this in here? What percentage saw that? I'd say fifty two percent. Yeah. I thought it would be about half at seventy eight percent. Everybody's seen anchorman. Okay. So that was. I'm off on the wizard of Oz wizard of Oz. I would say ninety five percent. No. It was lower than the lion. King only ninety and Titanic. People have seen Titanic. Seventy five eighty one. And the first one was Star Wars. The original question. How many people have seen Star Wars the original nineteen seventy seven film? Eighty nine percent. It was eighty one the same as Titanic a little lower than I would've thought. But I think your guests was I forget your guests. Now. What were the reason we had the arguments begin with? Okay. I'm not sure if we learned anything they're not. Sure. Okay. So what is ultimately the most the most seen movie was the lion? King line. King is the most seen moving by people of a certain age. All right. All right Keiv. So did we add anything to the wheel today? Yes, we added to the fishbowl the next generation to the wheel. We really didn't add anything while we're waiting jeopardy. Jeopardy already on the wheel. Oh, I don't know. If we officially put it on last week. I think we did. I did think they're happier. These one more week. I don't wanna spoil their hap-. So rob it's going well. I will say I never because I I was a teenager when I met my wife and now in my mid thirties. So I never had the experience of being ghosted people ghosted. I do feel like some of these people are ghost. They may like asking for updates. Why you don't radio silence? Yeah. You don't say. Yeah. What do you think about that? Yeah. I think that that this is the reason why I told you to put like twelve couples together. Maybe I did. I'm not saying everyone goes to be. Yeah. I'm just saying it's not a great feeling. I don't like being hosted. I don't know. How do if I had to be out there on like engine, bumbling tender and getting ghosted everything? Inge was yet. We didn't. We did. That's why we need this freedom Elenio in their get anxious. The difference bumble is the ladies start the conversation. Yes. I get that hinder. Tinder is is is. Yeah. Yeah. I think they're all swiping. I think he enjoys like, I don't know what's different about hinge, then bumble or should we join hinge for an episode. Maybe hating is like if you swing in either direction of I don't think so there's other there's other more specific like because that's literally what winless does. Yeah. That's interesting. Yeah. I don't know it might just be the same as tender just like a different interface. That's my guess. I don't think there's I don't think there's a catch. Okay. Sort of like, it's the Non-proprietary like tissue versus Kleenex. Maybe here's an article what's difference between hinge bumble, and Tinder, yes. From thirty fourth street dot com. What a famous great website dance. Your question cider of updating. Yeah, they didn't send us a thank you card. So tender is always been the mainstream mindless, wiping that we know in love Bill does not live for friends dates relationship and everything in between. It's more hookup Centric than the other two. Okay. Bumble is lady friendly app with the same layout. As tender. Got it VP of marketing tender was okay, fine. She started it. The good on bumble. The boys are hot and the girls message. I we've got some of the creeps. You'll find on tender in fifteen minutes swiping session that you have to be a guy on bumble. You don't have to be hot to be a guy. If you don't it's not like there's a riot, which if be approved for which is for celebrity, right? So if you're not hot, you don't get any like might not get as many swipes, fifteen minutes, wiping session street match with Philly pro athletes. These ladies are very shallow. I don't know how I would how like there's guys on like the frigging Phillies. I don't know him competing with them. If you're if you're someone who isn't into opening lines for you. Okay. And then hinge their their claim is that he just relationship can start the premise bind hinge is instead of random strangers. You only match with people you have mutual Facebook friends with. Wow, that's pretty specific. Okay. So it's so yeah. I mean, I heard saying if the hinge, so you're on you're on Facebook, some girl also knows shut up, Tim. And then it's like, all right. Well, I guess you guys both know shut up Tim, so you should date. Yes. So I guess it's more quality than quantity, certainly know quantity. Right. You're only getting people you have a mutual friend with. That's like a very fine people. Yeah. Okay. All right. All right. That's how the hinge works. All right. So that's the difference. That was going to be a full podcast. We just did it now. Us clean hinge. You're a hinge guy. Yeah. You like hinge? Can I'm not on bumble nobody's swiping on me. I'm bumble. My picture is a frigging picture of my daughter in box from two thousand six like going to swipe on that. But my Facebook profile pictures been the same for thirteen years. It's my daughter just like she got into a box, and she was planning a box. Okay. I've never updated. All right. I don't think I'm getting any swipes on that probably better than what I looked like now. But still all right. Let's talk about what's going on here on the wheel CSI York. The much-maligned CSI New York. It's been on the beginning came up last week. Only old veto the old. But can we say it's Q one of twenty nine nineteen. I think we get a veto for every quarter. Because that's the show really was the first few months last few months at twenty eighteen Avihou where do we get four the year? Now four vetoes doing we might do dozens of episodes. I think it's I think that's fair. I think they're here's what we are one veto a year. And then one covy oh year. And so if I use my co veto, and then I if I get you to use your other half of your co veto, then so if we work together, we all idle, I got it. Okay. But what if you say use it, and I say, no, do you get bad and gourd, you lose it. I get it back. Okay. So we have to use it for twenty nineteen. That's not a lot a lot. But things we shouldn't be putting on the wheel that we don't wanna do. That's tomorrow, Robin akitas problem though. Yeah. Okay. Okay. All right. Right. Getting this wheel, y'all. So you were saying. Season. Three episode seven that corresponds to a fish tank filled with ping pong balls. How many spots ping pong balls right now. Put some. So we are actually up to a balmy six slots on the wheel. Wow. Wow. Rather real shot at getting now. All right coin flip Oregon trail rising fall JT. Do we have a JT correspondent yet or? No, yes. Yes. She just emailed us back, Dr ghosting. She's back. Yes goes all right prices right conspiracy. Pod TV show theme song Barack Chester's ready to go with that. He's ready to go with that. Okay. MTV shows are trashed with Alli Lascher trashier with Lascher. That's a trash. Okay. Penn. April thirteenth nineteen Ninety-four jeopardy. And I can't believe it's all banter Keiv last week you and I did not discuss a return to the wheel for what we did in episode number. Do you? Remember need a podcast. Yes. I can tell you that episode number six was the wife. Swap quiz. Yeah. That's a specific episode. I don't know how you put that back on the wheel. It would be ten new questions for America and four Nicole. We'll marriage birthdays this week her birthday president. She doesn't have to answer questions. I feel like we need another wife. Swap. I think we could do maybe like our kids get older, we could do kids web quiz or some. Maybe maybe I work at all. Right. But then this week. Okay. Yes. So there's a seven episode number seven was watching a leprechaun done Lenka to get a spot on the wheel. I will say if we do leprechaun two were really committing to the whole bit of watching like five or six of them. Yeah. I think so. So it's it's almost we're making a decision now for years to come. I I would lean. Yes. But I would not cry. If you said, no, I'm gonna leave at all. I would say I would say, yes, I feel like leprechaun was wildly popular the, okay? And I think it deserves a spot on the wheel who knows when it comes up. But I I wanna live in a world where leprechaun two is on the wheel. Let's do it leprechaun to K put it on the wheel. All right. So hold on a second. We're going to add a leprechaun to we have to watch a leprechaun two for next week every nuts. Okay. And this is the first thing that has gone back to April thirteen ninety four went back. But but it went back with less fanfare. Yes. Yeah. Okay. So limb. Two is going onto the wheel. And this is gonna I'm gonna make that green spot on the wheel appropriately. I look Saint Patrick's Day is a couple of months away. So this comes up like, you know, March first boy talk about luck of the Irish. Yeah. That would be. Yeah. There's certain weeks. Well, what about the week Notre Dame loss in the national championship in the semifinals? That would have been unlock the Irish if that so leprechaun two is on the way and the wheel is very full right now. So chances are leprechaun to is not is not. If you include the six spots from season three episode seven we've got close to twenty spots on the wheel right now. So all right. So here we go Keiv. Let's get ready. The Dan the benefactor wheel is coming. So just hold your horses. Dan, we got it. We got it. Okay. All right, and Dan's getting very impatient. About vary. Benicia new. I do not care. Okay. All right. So keiv. Let's spin the wheel can't imagine. It's January third. Get one of us veto right now right now, I hope it season. I hope it CSI New York. That'd be Larry. K we were one spot away from leprechaun too. Wild. Yeah. And it is I can't believe it's all banter. I think can't just panther thing is in the play on the can't believe just butter. So it's just banter, you know, it's not called. I can't believe it's just butter. Right. What's it called? But I can't. But we can't call. I can't believe it's not panther. Because that's so why is I can't believe it's just banter better than I can't believe they're just sounds more. Like, not you don't think. So I don't. That sounds anything like not. End with the letter t the one thing I'm going to say, you're not vetoing this, right? I'm doing this. The one thing I'm gonna say this is the second straight week of no preparation. It's almost like when you go when you have no school over the summer you like seventh grade's over. And then you get back to eighth grade about oh, I haven't done homework in a month or three months, and it's painful, that's what's going to happen. Next time. We have to watch like freaking leprechaun too. Yeah. The second straight week that we added the re shows last week jeopardy. Prank calls and banter and. Pretty yeah. Get ready jeopardy. Jeopardy game this weekend. Twenty nineteen is really red hot. Yeah. It's loaded. It's absolutely loaded. And some of these things are just we got seven spots on the wheel next season. Three episode seven New York who knows if it'll ever be picked again. Okay. So is the podcast called. I can't believe it's just banter, or I can't believe it's all banter, should that be people. Yeah, we can make that a poll where people could just write in in the Facebook group. We're on Twitter, and let us know. Do we have to pay anything for next week talking? I would prepare an anecdote or two in terms of you know, prepare. Let's pull up the New York Post website and talk about what's happening that day. Tell you a quick anecdote, no safe. Why what's going to be over next week? It won't be applicable next. I guess so. But you're wasting the good banter. All right. No. I'm telling you. There's no way I could include it next week. Yeah. Cute stories about our listeners. What does that mean? A cute story about the listeners. Like, oh, rob let me tell you. So I got an Email the other day from Kaya who. Yes. Yes. Great. And she said the funniest thing to me that it's a semi. Yes. Send me funny panther stories guys not kayak because she missed that. She had her shot. Kaya said actually, people don't know. She's a fan. And she said that she's a shack expert, but now she's like nervous to come on the podcast. So why she's nervous? She's afraid of. She's she's like nervous. She's in her mind should be in the company of greatness, everyone else's like clowns. But she like she's nervous to come on the podcast. Okay. So, but we have shack attack in the waiting room. So can we convince her that we're not scary? And that she should come on the podcast because she's our shack expert. Yeah. Okay. Well, we'll see we'll say phone behind the scene stories ki- like an anecdote of like, oh, Robin. I we're ripe right before the show came on way. Good. That's all that's good banter. We have. Well, let me tell my story. And then I'll let everyone out of here. Okay. So in orthodox Judaism, we have two very formal meals every week Friday night and Saturday lunch. Okay. Friday dinner, Saturday lunch are very former like with the family. A lot of times you go to somebody's house or you have company. You can't eat. You can't eat just your family, but you're frequently inviting people out, and then they invite you back, and then the chain goes forever. If you're a sort of Floca friend group, so we stopped inviting people, so we actually don't get invited out a lot because my wife hates like, she's like all right? No, more company. So for the last two years, it's just been invited out. But then like, nobody will invite you had a second time until you invite them. So we never get invited out anymore because my wife quit on having friends. So a guy I was down the block by the park the other day and a guy who who's my daughters friends with his daughter came over to me is like would you guys rather come for lunch or dinner? I'm like, what do you mean? He's like this week. Would you rather come for lunch? Dinner. And I said, I'd rather I have no opinion. And this is like an ask your wife took question. Whatever it's good for you guys. I think dinners better migrate. I don't know the guy that well, he's inviting me this is like a good score for my wife. She won't have to make one of these massive meals. It's like to thanksgiving every week. Rob. You have no idea. Oh my God. So so fine. So I came home, and I'm like, hey, mare like so and so just invited us. Four Friday night dinner, and it's late in the week. Usually you're inviting on Sunday this is Tuesday night already. And I'm like we got invited. Like every company or you don't always have company, we never have company, but there are people have company or go out every single week. Yes. Okay. Family like my family's company. We're six people just us like it's not like my wife and eating alone. Uh-huh. So I said like it was like eighty percent of invite like he asked me what I preferred. And then he sort of leaned towards dinner. I'm sure he's going to call and then no call Wednesday. No, call Thursday night. No, I think we're invited. And I think he thinks because he just moved to the neighborhood from Canada. He I think he thinks that that was a formal invite. But I don't like have its phone number. And I don't know like I think he's expecting us on Friday night now, but I have no way of knowing. So my wife, and I were just discussing. It's weird. If my wife says like, hey, did you invite us because then it's so awkward if they didn't then they're going to be like, oh, but then you have to come and that we're like the losers who invited themselves over these people's house. Yeah. Right. I don't know. What to do? I don't know. If you give me advice. My daughter had a good idea, which is my wife should text. My wife has the number of the wife. And there's a chance to wife has no ideas is possible. The husband was main conversation with me. And it was like, hey, maybe one we invite you over he seemed to imply this week. It's my daughter said text, the mom and say, what should I bring? Because usually like if someone invites you you bring a desert or you bring the salad or something. What should I bring? And she sounds confused. Then you say oh, sorry wrong. Number like whoops of we'll have we'll have lunch together some other time. But if she answers, then we're invited. So my daughter had a really good idea. I want to do it. You guys have a chance to Scott free get out of going to somebody else's house. Yeah. I know. But here, and you're not taking advantage of it. You're like wait till you trade. I. We wanna go get in there. I'm not saying we wanna go wife doesn't have to cook. So she likes that. But an unrest to do the dishes. Then the the thing is if they're expecting us and their new here, and we don't show up that means they've already cooked for us. And I'm like, you know, we're we're six people's they've made a meal for us. And then we're not showing up right? They're going to come. They live pretty close. They're going to come to our house and be like, hey, we're waiting for you. Okay. It's going on. Then. But then then thirty cook. Like it's too late at that point when we're sitting down the meals at a certain time, like what are we going to do like, they're not gonna agree that it's confusion there. Either one hundred percent positive were coming or one hundred percent positive. We're not coming, but we're not going to know until Friday night. I feel like this dilemma, I don't I don't know. Why doesn't somebody just walked down the street? Oh that was it this week. Or was it another week you wanted to? That's awkward though. I feel like I could do that. I just feel like if I do that. Then they're going to say it's this week. If I had any like if I had all imply that they were inviting us for this week they're going to make it this week. And now, I'm inviting myself, which was like the last thing I wanted to. So then what if you have? You are not feeling good. You know dinner for you now. But what other five people come like, my wife and could bring the kids, by the way. That sounds great. I might triple that. Anyway, for invited just stay home. And hey like you wanna bring back some chicken or something? All right. I don't know. So I could you know. By the time, the listeners listen to this hour have been cited. So I can't really all. Is what we're dealing with in my house tonight. Okay. All right. So do you want more banter like that for next week? I feel like maybe we should produce some prep on the banter. Let off the cuff and the whole the whole premise of banters. No prep thing. I was thinking is if maybe during the banter that we could both be on our Twitter feeds, and we'll be updating people on what people in our Twitter fees are saying, well, we shouldn't be distracted. But if you think that's part of the podcast like we'll be like. Ooh, you know. Here's a great joke from Wilfrid America, well weights that you wanna talk about like did you see this tweet today? Okay. This is a tweet. Here's one from of T dob this morning. Did you see this teed up on Twitter and then go drunk uncle? Well, he actually reporting the tweet like, you know, you're you're holding it up and getting into. Okay. All right. Yeah. Keiv great work today. We pulled off pranking listeners. And couldn't be done. And we've got they said it shouldn't be done. I think. But yeah. Yeah. Are you pumped up for the NFL playoffs? I mean, I'm used to my team not being in there. So I guess like mildly pumped I would say, yeah. I I'm I'm pumped for. I don't care about the Houston Indianapolis game. But I'm pumped to thrust. The chargers ravens and the Cowboys you agree with my take the the Cowboys matter. They're like the Yankees every game. They play whether you like the Cowboys are hate them. If feels important it feels like a big playoff game when the titans are involved or the Arizona Cardinals. Even if it's Super Bowl it feels less than a Cowboys playoff game. Or even be Cowboys regular season game. I would say that if the NFL was a TV show. I think that the Cowboys are, you know, one of the principles that's in the poster for the CNN and like in opening credits. So the Cowboys and the patriots are really start. There are thirty two characters on this show thrones type show. Yeah, they're probably unless they're absolutely got off. All that. If they had any store sort of storyline going on there. One of the principles of the show. Right. Like, well, if it's like lost the patriots and the cat. Probably Jack and Kate. And then like the Steelers might be lock. And then Sawyer like, I don't know right now, maybe the saints or the ravens. But then the cardinals and the titans and the Jaguars are like or like art arriver that guys like characters on the show. That's like, oh, I hate this character. Why are they getting so much screen time? Get back to the characters we care about. Yeah. What's the name of the rose? And what's the dude's name or no armor like Rosenberg? I think they're like the Seahawks when they're when they're around matter. But then you forget about them trolling Nina for not answering the phone. I don't even know if the Seahawks fan. Well spoiler alert shoes. Oh, yes. She is. That's true. Yeah. But no because like the Seahawks they'll be out of the NFL essentially like ten years, but then they're back and they're good. Same thing with Rosenberg Nour's. Maybe that could be a podcast every NFL team did the game thrones characters as you could look through Chester as an amazing every NFL team as game of thrones character. He did. A really good job with that the best one he had was the falcons as the red. Viper. That was really the best following their Super Bowl appearance is really inspiring. All right key, things are shortest episode. Rob. I think we did it. Yeah. One of our shortest. Okay. Yeah. I think clocking in at only about like two hours. So well, good job.
