"Includes language about him. You can grow it. Now in all fifty states that of course, includes California, what is the future of Hampton, California. We're talking to Chris Boucher? He's with the hemp related farm operation farm Tiba. He explains what his business is all about or California corporation where in the business of selling hempseed, helping consult with farmers on what type of camps to grow on their field where they want to grow for fiber food. CBD variety of crops that commodities you can get out of the crop. So we're we're here to really help roll out the industry in California. That's kind of where we specialize in some estimates. Have the value of the market regions something like twenty two billion dollars in four years? It can be used as you mentioned for all sorts of different products, clothing, medical, applications, building materials. It's amazing all it can be used. What is also amazing is how a dapple ham biz to a wide variety of climates and growing conditions can be grown from the Arctic circle. Chile South America. I mean, it's versatile, and it's one of the few plants gross Roth almost every region and real world. It's known to actually sprout through permafrost. The sheet is very very viable considered. One of the oldest vegetables fell gross. Gross basically goes fast the ice age. So we know that it's been around for millions of years compared the cotton or soy or other crops. So it is I think one of the most viable agricultural crops we've ever seen and it's now coming into our industry. So when you're speaking Bassett jobs infrastructure built in all kinds of new investment. So that's going to be huge with farmville institutional money from Wall Street from the invested camps to be removed from schedule one. So it's really a huge blessing for farmers. Yeah. Let's talk a little bit about that in relation to what's happening here in California if hedge funds and money funds get involved in growing hemp, I did very conceivable that almond and walnut orchards could be ripped out and replaced by him. And where does that leave the small farmer in California? Well here in California. He's lost. Former a minimum I think of one eight Griffin grow the hair, and it's. Cottage industry compared to other crops are but I think in the next couple years, you're gonna stay the big commercial farmers come in, and they'll going to grow, you know, five ten thousand acres of authority, but still people will be able to grow at for their own seed oil, just you know, their own fiber. We'll be at the role for their own TVD oil. So it definitely can be used from the small farmer to the big farmer will stay quite a few jobs created from that. And of course, whatever California farmer wants to know, just how water efficient is it to grow hemp while we see different types of growing, depending if you're using robots flap dad, how you're facing is and probably half of alfalfa or a quarter of Al south comedian acre for acre and a half point back from some people doing dry for me. Also. So really depends on what you're trying to grow it for holiday. CBD aspects of it. Or if you're trying to grow up or fiber instruction materials last quarter. So that will determine its usage, I would think too that for those that don't have the land, but want to get involved that the infrastructure that you mentioned could be an important part and a booming industry from what I understand even though hemp fiber is very versatile. There isn't much in the way of processing plants for hemp fiber in the United States. That's correct. So there is a my company and several other companies are looking for build the infrastructure out, the ham campuses were farmers can actually bring their Hampton get it processed and get paid for whether it's from the CBD the fiber the the protein powder. Armor might become vertically integrated. My just for the rob cherry hill. So there's going to be quite a bit of investment if the game building these factories that need to be built. So the farmers can sell it and get paid and another aspect too. That's an ancillary business that I could see developing because only the female ham plant can be grown in order to avoid cross. Pollination? Somebody's going to have to grow all these seedlings and call out the males correct now for CD for me. It's all pretty much the female plants in similar Joe when you grow seedless watermelons you gonna pull the Parlin pods off. But with fiber growing for construction materials or like protein powder stuff like that, the actual grain used, male and female, and you will have fallen, and you probably will have some issues with payroll water growers that they don't want him throwing anywhere near. Their field. Pollen drift maps in different counties and commissioners are going to have to really settle this issue with marijuana farmers. I have farmers. That's another very big aspect to this whole thing. Just because it's been legalized federally. Don't the states still maintain control. That's correct. So the state basically has to have either a State Department of agriculture here in California or a university, and as we speak the CD FAA in California on their website. They have the application to grow and basically going through a forty five day public review period as we speak, and hopefully it will end here in December and whatever adjust until be made we'll be made for the application. So anyone can pretty much row with this application permit. You'll have to have your GPS Ford knits in your address. And all that good stuff where you're growing it after you're growing at so we're hoping in the next sixty days or less, they'll be applications for farmers grow. And what about those farmers who are thinking of getting involved? With the farm Bill passing. That includes the hemp legislation. What steps are you urging them to take? Now, the most important part is contact your local and Commissioner and they're the ones in each county. I believe there's a fifty eight or fifty three commissioners in California, and they will organize and manage the applications in each County, California is I mean, it's all country. In the world. Compare it to like the Colorado and farmers Oregon or Tennessee. I mean, these states have three to six billion people, and they only have one. It's going to be pretty big, and it's a huge task. And it's really getting on board with your Commissioner making sure he's really educated in the application ready to go can these prices for him products. Hold up if everybody can grow hemp like any other commodity in agriculture. You know, we'll get fact during the next couple of years, you're going to see a really good profit margin or farmers, especially if they're going to either get semi vertically integrated or if they're going to produce the most sought after crop and you'll see the hints the gross mart rose profits for CBD her acre anywhere from thirty thousand like you said the ninety thousand dollars acre the fiber and the C, you know, maybe twelve to fifteen hundred dollars an acre double or triple of what you get for corn. However, that's still going to be pretty good market for farmers. And you know, we're really looking forward to getting the different props fear in the gravity fell on your. I would love to speak with any interested in. Rolling him how they can get. How do they contact? Your local Ag Commissioner together a California Growers Association, which we are now. And I think that would be very important for the California industry to have associates of farmers that way where represented wife well in the supply chain and global supply chain shipping camp to Korea to Europe. I mean all over the world. So it's great. It's gonna be really huge the next couple of years. Now's a good time. And the best way to contact you. I imagine would be via your website. Sure. Foreign Chiba dot com, WWW dot com. Check out our website information there, and you can contact us and would be more healthy happy. Help guide you in growing up farm, TV dot com. Chris Boucher is the CEO of farm TV riding the wave of what could be the next big crop in California and across the United States ham. Chris thanks for a few minutes of your time. In California where a couple of years. Oh, I think we'll catch up pretty quick. I all these other states to get here. Right. And I work with the people at Kentucky, Colorado.
