That report came out later on in the day. Russell wilson's agent mark rogers told. Espn that wilson is told the seahawks he wants to play in seattle but if he were to consider a trade elsewhere the teams he would go to and the only ones are the cowboys. Saints raiders and the bears.
Interview With RJ Koscielniak
"In the york. They were doing ads for detroit. They i never seen it before ads for a city like you know. Hey wanna open that cafe to open. Try it in detroit that hipster artisanal you know. Yeah totally got one of those places that clearly designed logos for a hipster businesses to make his logo for detroit. And and i think it's kind of interesting that this entrepreneur realizing of does a double movement that is almost seems at odds with each other. But i've been so seamlessly married. Which is marrying the entrepreneur preneurs sizing of everything with the new bohemian expectation for everything. So now we have this bohemian entrepreneurial thing going on that i think has one of the reasons why which florida seems outdated or antiquated is not because he wears ideas have disappeared but they become so normalized and he almost seems kind of acquaint like we just recently had that. Where speeds commercial. By donnie part. In that i think says it all ever seen it took working nine to five and they hired her to do a new version for squarespace. Called working five to nine and is basically about having to do your side-hustle after you finish working nine to five and you use squarespace and the commercial has people doing their side yoga website. Their side dance website their side blog. Decide you know podcasts. On squarespace and say right what has happened. We've gone from complaining about having to work nine to five and the boss on your back to now. Yeah i still have all that. But i also get to dream about you. Know this cool side-hustle. It's it's absolutely and i think that you know the the trick. Is that it that that kind of framing of the modern basically labor market but also this dislike klepto economic lake capitalist terrain. Right that we have to live in an on and around right. Is that that all the simple joys that you might have had from your life right. The the yoga right the painting You know the working out that all of those suddenly you're supposed to figure out how to modify and leverage rights. you're constantly trying to invent ways of taking what you actually care about like the actual building blocks of your identity of your life of what you you value and who you value and you're finding ways to put it in the marketplace and see what happens you From when i graduated high school. And and and i and i read. I was entering undergrad. I had this. You know everybody was talking about getting block right and that like oh you could get a blog. Maybe somebody would pay you for that block right that there. Was this like that. Somebody else could assign value to. And maybe that could be a revenue stream right the lake. Your i thinking about matt inglesias right. The way he was able to leverage for for to create his his blog than got picked up by fox and now he's basically an entrepreneur again. But the idea that is that that we've moved from well. I'm going to share some of my ideas to well. I'm gonna teach yoga from my three hundred square foot apartment to twenty five people. And then i won't have time for actually do yoga because then you start doing the self rationalization right like i really like yoga. So i'm still getting something out of it or i really like paintings. I'm still getting something out of it even though what you've done is you've essentially surrendered the like gentle like like honesty of something that you care about to a marketplace. That may or may not care that you've done that and i don't have any grand illusion so i like i. I'm not trying to say that. There's some sort of inherent value in like crafts. But i think what ends up happening is that we are never thinking about how we're building ourselves. We're thinking about how we're trying to survive. Yeah right yeah definitely hurts our relationships right we have an inability then to have those kinds of i mean i'm not trying to get to pop side here but thinking about like how then do you create a collective where everyone is. Potentially your client right is everyone is potentially your customer like. How do you get out of of that. That head space right. How do you get outside of the fancy word for for how you know how marxist talk about this as interpolations Like you've adopted the ideology to the degree where you don't know that there's an outside right. It's like the fish swimming in water doesn't know they're in water right here. World of blue. There's no blue. So so how do you then get. People encouraged people to think about that. That sort of process ideology of whose agenda. They're actually following. And how do you do it. In a way that's constructive and productive right not not like toxic and shouting people's faces right. How do you put. How do you develop an argument for the library. How do you develop an argument for public institutions. How do you develop an argument for paving roads when everybody constantly views everything outside their door as the potential for a new client new customer a new market for their their skills their talents their hobbies and their
The case for Baylor at No. 1 over Gonzaga
"The only respectful way to begin. This episode is by recognizing that scott drew baylor bears formerly known. As bill henderson's baylor bears improved a seventeen on the season tuesday night with an eighty-three sixty nine victory at texas. They outscored the longhorns. By seven in the first half they outscored the longhorns. By seven in the second half as a result baylor otherwise known as terry eagles alma mater is now seventeen and fifteen. Double digit wins. The bears are number one at kim palm. Their number one in the net. they are awesome undeniably. Norlander your turn to talk about baylor. Are you going to spend the next few minutes showing proper respect for the first lady of baylor basketball or are you going to once again disrespect. Kelly drew got drew. Plus mackenzie payton brody. Not to mention homer and janet price and tara dana and her husband. Casey bryson anna isaiah caleb. In luke plus drew barrymore drew carey. Drew brees drew bledsoe. Dr drew drew. Gooden andrew mcintyre how are you gonna handle this moment. bryce doesn't care does care. He'd bryce doesn't care. I talk to about it. He doesn't care. How are you going to atone for the fact that you still have a number one. I mean. I think it's disrespectful at this point. Daily top twenty five and one. After what i saw last night. I got baylor number one. But you don't and you disrespect the entire through family. And every drew. She has to drew mcgarry as well. You're disrespecting them all you've got number two. I think you're the one who needs to explain himself. I actually can't explain myself. And i do get asked this every day. I saw strong joe last night trying to make the case that baylor should be number one and i let it be clear. I won't argue with anybody that says baylor should be number. One baylor at this moment has a better resume than gonzaga. Got six quarter on lindsay. Does eggs only have five. Baylor is got the best adjusted efficiency margin in the country and one of the best of all time at this point. If you wanna if you wanna put baylor number one it is fine with me. It's just. I think we've talked about this. Before i made a rule a longtime ago i will not drop number one team unless it loses the only time i made an exception i went and looked it. Up is two seasons ago. Kansas was number one in the top twenty five and one to open the season. Kentucky might have been to. Duke was in the top five somewhere and do zion williamson cameras and remember the other one started with our allies and it was. It was whatever it doesn't matter. It doesn't rj barrett and so they went out and they just throttled kentucky on opening night at bankers life. And i just. I was even conflicted. Then because keynes's is just one and it was one zero and number one and i was like i don't feel silly not to have that duke team. That just did that to kentucky ranked number one. So i made an exception to the rule. Then but i've been ranking college basketball teams for better or worse for like more than fifteen years now and i've only dropped a number one team without losing one time and that is the example.
Becoming A Mom To Teens
"About nineteen so a eighteen so you just became a mom to the teens in being in the fill that that you're in counseling and having experience with working with teens in in the past what's been the most challenging thing thus thus far raising a teenager actually you know the teen. That's living with us. I really honestly truly feel very blessed. I really feel like i lucked out. If i would have design the perfect child you know to enter into my life like it's really been a blessing for me. He's been fantastic. And i tried to mentally prepare for all of the blended family issues that i was aware of. Because you know i work in the same field as you hear the family struggles especially blended family struggles. You're not my mom. You can't tell me what to do when all of that sort of thing. So i was kind of mentally prepared for that sort of thing. Myspace should the one that sixteen looks with us us what i want prepared for. Was that this. Older daughter wouldn't have any interest in even meeting me. So that's been the most challenging thing dealing with that In balking with my friends who are had similar situations it's been it's been validating you know that also occurred with other people when that you know. Of course they all tell me well. She's the one that's missing out because you know you're flying in great everything else I wish that we had that opportunity. So i think there's probably a lot of other mom incident married into relationships that probably have seen similar struggles has that impacted Dad's relationship with with her. Yeah i mean it's disappointing for him. He wants her to meet me and he wants her to. You know at least talk with me and give me a chance. I guess in in how does rj rj sixteen year. Old has he. How does he deal with that. Because that's his sister in so he sounds like he's welcome. Do you guys have a pretty good relationship. How's that impacted him. He has a relationship with his sister he talks to. I don't know how often he talks to iraqi. Texts are probably more often. But i don't pry into any of the conversations you know. Ask too much. But
Michigan State's NCAAT chances kaput? Who winds up with No. 1 overall seed?
"On thursday night gonzaga beat san diego ninety sixty two so the top ring zags sixteen to no second ranked bears fifteen no deadly. Somebody asked me a question on twitter yesterday. So let me present it to you if zaka and baylor both inner selection sunday undefeated. Which team is the number. One overall seed in the ncaa tournament. I- address this exact thing in my power rankings. This week baylor's the number one overall seed. That's not going to be up for too much debate. I don't think baylor will have at that point. Accrued many more quad one wins and road wins tougher opponents in gonzaga. So i don't think it will be up for much debate and that's before you even get into the question of whether or not Those teams have not played in their league tournaments. I think you're right. The question was presented to me about the number one overall seed the instability tournament. And then about whether i would adjust the top twenty five and one and i will not adjust the top twenty five and one i if i will not drop gonzaga from number one unless it loses. And that's been one of my kinda rules since i've been doing this job. I don't punish number one teams unless they actually lose. The only time can remember. Doing it is win duke zairian cam and who was the other guy that played with them. Norlander see if you can remember this time that team duke zay on camera. tish yeah. He's from canada. Third third pick in the draft of first team. All american show trae jones. Trae jones was on that team. But it wasn't him jack white. It was not yet check why it was not the third pick. Javelin delory in the subsequent. Nba draft. His name was started with all our in the next letter was j. rj. They call him rj. Oh i think i've heard this guy You're gonna have to help me with the last name though. Rj bay. That's right that's right that's right. Yeah that was The yeah he was the other player on this. So that's the only time. I can remember dropping a number one team without the number one team. Losing just silly to have anybody other than duke number one after that performance against that opponent on that stage. So i've done it before. But i will not do it. In in this scenario to punish gonzaga without losing would be to punish them. Strictly on league affiliation. And i won't do that but that said you're exactly right. Both schools have five quadrant. One wins right now. But according to the net the current net rankings baylor has six more quad one opportunities in the regular season. Gonzaga has just one so baylor could end up and likely would end up with basically twice as many quad wins as gonzaga. So i agree with you on selection sunday. If both teams are undefeated baylor based on the resume would be number one overall seed regardless of whether the people and the top twenty five one or anything else actually reflects
Warriors' Steph Curry passes Reggie Miller for second place in career 3-pointers

Here's what will determine whether Urban Meyer will succeed as Jaguars coach
"So rj breaking news here. It is a live radio show in anytime we have breaking news. We enjoy it especially when it's the news that just came out a short time ago. That urban meyer is the new head coach of the jacksonville. Jaguars so what you're saying is the podcasts. Are going to spend twenty five minutes speculate. And if he goes there or not aren't live okay. Except that i agree with you. I find this fascinating. Remember now i'm in ohio state graduate and obviously to some degree in urban meyer fan. I'm not a huge urban. Meyer fan to be honest with you because i don't love that every it seems like there's a a prima donna element to him aspect to him. The idea that okay. When i'm wanted you know it's like the girl who that always likes the guy chasing a right but once she said it was in. She's looking for that next guy to chase her. Because let's be honest if you're getting rewarded if you're getting flowers and candy. It's fine right the day to day grind isn't as fun and if you look at what the buckeyes of done sense. Urban meyer laughed with coach day. You can make the case. It's superior though they haven't won a national title yet that you know is your two year period. You could make the case that urban meyer did better. I don't know but i mean so. Now the question is well how much urban meyer is recruiting. Lay the groundwork. And all that. And i think that's true no doubt about it but in the nfl. You don't recruit. I mean you could say you do to some degree with free agency but it feels like to me. One of the reason college coaches don't do well in the nfl isn't because they're so overmatched that it's not that the xs and os are so beyond them. I have no doubt urban meyer's ability offensively especially with his scheme with his coaching. Ability is going to be fine if not extraordinary but it feels like that to be a great college coach. At least half of it is recruiting. And you're taking that great attribute urban meyer highs in making a nonfactor.
Green Bay predictions: NFC divisional playoff vs. Los Angeles
"It we've been talking about. The announcement. Made sean mcvay announcing jared goff will be the starting quarterback this weekend for the green bay packers or four. The la rams against the green bay packers in green bay. Where right now. The packers on pregame.com. Six and a half point favorites. It's important to remember and it's obvious green. Bay's the number one see green bay. Is the one team the gutter by so the question is how to buy teams do in the playoffs. So if we look back and say okay. Let's look at the modern era. As i call two thousand twelve and beyond and that's because it's the first year four year after the new agreement that changed a practicing and all that things is. This really did change after that. And from twelve on teams off a by or with the by the playoffs who are not favored by a touchdown or more nine and five against the spread so a wonderful. Ats record for reasonably priced by team. The number one or in the past and the number two seed now the next game. We're going to cover and we're going to finish up. The rams is going to be kansas city. Who's the other by team. They're in a different category spread wise and it's different results in that game now. Why do i like green bay. And it is against the sharks. We talked about the sharps. Like the ramps and remember they like the rams plus seven and a half they like the rams a-plus avid now element mind is six and a half. So it's obviously. I don't have to go head to head with the sharps as much as i'm getting a slightly better number and i still disagreeing with them. Though in another reason is i think the rams are little bit overrated on. Defense doesn't mean i don't think they have a good defense. I think they have a top five defense. But i think this price is telling us because we know the offense is and all that good and we know. Jerry gov is playing all that well all the doubts about golf and mcveigh's questioned that's all given how they still the sharp side. It's a defensive matter or it's an anti packers. That's the only reason you could the rams you love their defense or you don't like the pack which it can't be about the rams offense it just can't be so even though you could make the case. Oh the rams can run. The ball aggressively in green bay struggled against that last year. Okay maybe but boy if you're one dimensional. That's tough and the reason. Though i think the rams d might be a little overrated is because if you look at their strength of opposition and we're talking about the opposing offenses now. There's been numerous times throughout the year that they didn't play the best quarterback that that team had throughout the year. So let's use the perfect example. Arizona cardinals were the seventeenth. Best offense in football show right about average so the rams playing that offense their defense against that offense. It looks like okay. The rams dominated an average offense. That's a good thing except the quarterback. Wasn't the normal starting quarterback for the car knows. It wasn't collor murray. It was a backup
Embiid, Simmons extend dominance of Knicks as Sixers roll
"The seventy Sixers coasted to a one oh nine eighty nine something of the nexus Jo Ellen beat had twenty seven points and ten rebounds Ben Simmons had fifteen points nine boards and six assists while also leading the defensive effort that forced New York's RJ Barrett into a two for fifteen shooting performance at one point our I will try to pass the ball so much movement but it's good to see you know guys are willing to you know really turned up and these instruments have never dropped a game at MSG and the Sixers have won their last thirteen meetings with the Knicks overall to buy a terraces have curry each scored seventeen is Philadelphia proved to to Julius Randle scored twenty five points and Alec Burks added twenty two for the Knicks who are now open to under new coach Tom Thibodeau I'm the ferry
Alabama, Notre Dame matched in unique Rose Bowl
"Let's talk college football to me. This conclusion was more egregious than i thought it could possibly been. You might think. Rj would you mean. Did you not expect notre dame to get in. Well one thing. I heard was and jonas. I think you were the big on this. You said all wealth noting gets blown out. I don't know and it doesn't feel like there was any amount of margin was gonna cause notre dame not to make it in hindsight you feel like that. The way they looked in that game against clemson warranted them getting the forest spot. A yeah i mean i just think there was a lot of stock put into their previous win over clemson so why what best quarterback in college football. Yeah and so. That's why i wasn't surprised. Seeing that they got blown out and hammered like they did and still ended up. Getting
Giannis, Milwaukee Bucks reach $228M supermax extension
"Another big deal has been signed in the nba with. Maybe it's best player. It's a debatable. Point but the greek freak is staying with milwaukee for at least five more years yiannis antenna kubo had until yesterday to sign the bucks super. Max extension offer a love. The supermax extension sounds so cool. I want the supermax. I would lie. I would like to have some time on my radio. Career kicked open the bosses door and not just demanded a race but a super max extension. Yeah exactly never really panned out. It's radio after all Anyway if he turned down he could become a free agent after the upcoming year. So there was plenty of angst about it and so the box mandate they bend over backwards for this guy In the days leading up to this new deal. Which i'll tell you about nasek like they were improving the team like crazy They did a blockbuster deal. Given up. First round two first rounders To come and then a first rounder in our rj hampton guards. Eric bledsoe george hill. All to get Drew holiday one of the best players in the nba. And so the box currently look as good as anyone in the league. Right now and would have been would really sucked for the box if if they couldn't have got this deal done anyway Signs a five year contract worth two hundred twenty eight million dollars that includes the opt-out clause in twenty twenty five so crazy crazy big money and handed out in the association over the last few days. Here
NBA releases shorter preseason schedule
"Also hard comprehending this new sports calendar. You're so used to your whole life, the normal, you know, just like the change of the seasons, depending on where you live or the holiday season's whatever is now we approach that as well. But You're so used to the sports calendar now where we're experiencing this new sports calendar and 2020 with the NHL starting up in, you know, mid January or whatever it's gonna be and all these different things that we had with all the different sports. It's just really hard to comprehend it and get a grasp on but nonetheless, the MBA. Has started up their preseason after just a short layoff with Lakers a few months ago being crowned NBA champion and I want to start with the New York Knicks. Because not only because they watched the preseason basketball game which I can't tell you the last time I actually really watch they pre season basketball game. But because finally They look like they have a team that plays with some purpose. Finally, they look like they have some direction Now. I'm not saying the next you're gonna win. Like I mean anyone 25 games in the 72 game season. Who knows how many actual wins? The Knicks will have the man? I went 20? I mean, they they don't have a lot of talent. I know that, but watching them you can tell immediately. With Tom Thibodeau taking over that they play hard at both ends of the floor. They play with purpose defensively, and it makes it different. It makes a difference When you're watching it, it makes it more enjoyable. And you could see it was a point early in the third quarter, where the Knicks had a sloppy possession. Offensively. I think it was Julius Randle surprise surprise, but they had a sloppy possession offensively and then came back on defense and completely missed. Their assignments or what was just completely botched Defensive sequence and Thibodeau was furious and nothing. You need to got a yellow players, but he called the time out immediately and let them know. Hey, this is unacceptable. And that is something that I mean, I can't remember the last time I actually saw that with some kind of legitimacy behind it. You've seen other coaches call time out and get mad. But there's really you know, the players gonna just have that, you know, Stair story. I look just staring into space with Thibodeau. You know they're listening. You know, these guys are buying it and playing hard here. And I think for the New York Knick fans That's all that they could ask for at this point in the rebuild. And it's just been so long since you had a team that actually played with some purpose. It was nice to see on top of that. Nice to also see what a first round pick should look like. With Obi Topping. Hey, it is amazing that over the top and fell to the New York Knicks be when you look at Frank Neil Akina. Kevin knocks RJ Barrett, who? By the way still can't shoot. I mean, RJ Barrett is a shooting guard. Who his strength is attacking the rim. Can't you free throws and has no outside shot? Other than that a great topic. But any way you look and Kevin Knox is a waste of space, Frank Nil Akina Kevin knocks RJ Barret. Finally, you see what a first round picks you look like with all the top, but I get it that he's an older rookie and more experienced coming out of dating and Maura MBA ready. Well, that's one of the reasons why I'm one of the next to draft him and you saw his skill set on full display. On night one. Now it's the preseason. I'm not saying the guy's gonna be a perennial All Star or the next Amauri Stottlemeyer. But with a lot of guys you can tell right away whether they belong in the MBA or not. You know, there's that learning her for some bet it takes a while to get acclimated. Some never do. And some most most of the good ones. You know right away that Hey, this kid's not afraid to be in this league is not intimidated by the league. He knows he belongs. He's playing like you belongs. And then goes on to have great success. And I think that's what the Knicks have in O B top in early on now how they're going to develop players around him. And how are they gonna best utilize his skill set? You know all those thing and fit in with the system and all those things they're still gonna be determined here. But you can tell that they have a player as opposed to. Like I said the last three first round picks where they don't even have a player. Maybe RJ Barry could be a decent role player, a decent bench player, but he's not the part that they thought it was gonna be at number three. Kevin Knox isn't even a player and frightening looking again. Borderline NBA player does somebody's things Maybe he could be a, you know, a decent role

Laverne Cox says she was targeted in transphobic attack
"Laverne cox. You probably know her. Best from starring in orange is the new black says. She and a friend were attacked in a park near her. Los angeles. home this griffith park for you. Locals and at the assault was an anti transgender. Hate crime says new jersey smaller situation. are the over under was on somebody saying that because i don't know anything about it but when i hear attacked i no longer think attacked. I'm just reporting what she said So she was in griffith with a friend and she says we pass this guy and the guy very aggressively asked for the time he then asked my friend guy or girl because i guess it was not obvious. Gender wise who she was with the unnamed friend cursed it the man who began throwing punches but fled when the actress called nine one one but she hung
Arizona-Seattle meet in another tough NFC West matchup
"Because of the raiders having multiple players including four starting offensive lineman on the reserve in nineteen list, there had to be a change made to Sunday night football. Originally, it was Tampa Bay at Las Vegas right now though it has been switched to Seattle at Arizona and on pregame.com the Seahawks, a three point favorite.
Love Is A Choice with Yoshi Sudarso
"Doing. Cash. Surviving. By me. I know. House has the has twenty twenty in treating you. On, a sleep I am enjoying the. A. Forced vacation I guess let's. Yeah. Yeah. That'd be good food. Good. Could be worse you know. I totally agree I. I've definitely benefited of being like more alone with my thoughts figuring things out. What have you been? Occupying your time with. Besides like. We even talk about that. So I have been kind of doing nothing for a longest time in the beginning I really took it as a vacation and did nothing just WORKED MYSELF RESTED PLAY VIDEO GAMES Nice the last couple maybe last month I started getting into 'cause I used to have a youtube channel and content creation, but I never really understood the technical side of it. Oh I've kind of taken it upon myself to learn and I've started. Content creating again and how I'm doing that is through. Twitch I've been streaming on twitch for the past month now. Yeah I saw that I saw that on I think facebook where you're sharing your your upcoming schedule I I am dabbling in twitch myself but I'm still a total new. I will try to help you out with every little bit knowledge that I have but my it's not much. Out On me then that's probably a lot more I. Mean you learn this is what I learned from Tiktok right? Because I was very late to the game rob you just learn so much just by doing it, right? Yes. Absolutely. Getting on the platform. Okay. So what do you do on twitch because I hiked you up in the Intro, we get to know your background you've do stunts and you're an actor, and it's all these amazing things. But like bring us up to speed of like what what, what makes you you and what what kind of stuff are you putting out there? Well, I'm I'm still kind of figuring it out but. I love video games and I play video games all the time. So I figured I might as well stream it, but I didn't want to just stream any game I wanted to like find a way to make the stream enjoyable. Okay. Streaming Games is one thing. The other thing that I'm doing is that I'm I only did once so far but I'm doing kind of what you're doing is bringing you know my friends to come into the stream and kind of talk about themselves you know to have platform for them to. Show what they're doing what's What is it What projects they're doing, what they're excited about and what? Past projects they've done. So I did one last week with Chris Gye at Rj Alex. Is a good friend of mine old friend. And he? He's an acquaintance like we work together a lot. You know when you're doing stunts with each other, you're constantly like seeing each other but only from one side of it. So when I got to bring him on I learned a lot from him talking to the chat. So because you're going deeper into who he is in his background and stuff or like his yeah. Inner thoughts. Exactly. So it's a lot of calls on song in the drink while we can. That's so good. Are you just talking or you playing games and talking and Boba so were talking for the first hour in we hop into a game it just so happened that he was a voice of a game. So we played the game that he was the voice on and it just happened to be a horror game and I don't do well with Horror Games no, I would hate that. I didn't like it. But I'm sure the audience then 'cause you're like actually having a genuine reaction. Is freaking out. Well Okay 'cause gaming is crazy because they I mean because of technology everything is so real. Now it's not like it's not like cartoony stuff. Oh, this way I don't want to even go there because I, I would legit get. Probably from that like. I couldn't sleep well night. I mean, I, love the audiences everything but oh yeah, exactly. But. It's just been. It's been great because. As you know my wife is pregnant so Yeah congratulations. Thank you. Yeah. It's our first kid. We weren't expecting to for it to happen. What it Means to be "AI Ready" - with Matthew Mattina
"This is Daniel Magellan. You're listening to the and podcast. We speak this week on the topic of. Readiness. What is it look like to truly be ready as an enterprise if you're a consultant, you're selling into enterprises and you want to build a success wave. This client stands in what might need to be worked on or if you are an AI champion within an enterprise, you want to get an understanding of where do we stand how ready are we should be an awfully helpful episode our guest. This Week is Matthew Martina who's the head of The machine learning research lab, A. R. M. A. R. Ramsey multibillion dollar semiconductor and software development company wholly owned by Softbank Softbank One of the biggest venture funds in the world based out in. Japan, and Matthew speaks to us about his criteria and his way of thinking through with Ai Readiness looks like in an enterprise again, if you WANNA a checklist to list of features away to assess take view on your own company or that of your clients. I think at this episode should be awfully helpful. If you're just getting started with deploying a, we have a free guide called beginning with Ai. It's special guy for non technical professional. So if you do not have a technical background, but you still want to understand what is it realistically look like to deploy artificial intelligence were the key factors to understand for a adoption. If you're not the person writing code, you're more focused on the business strategy side. Of things then you'll WANNA download that free pdf brief it's an e. m. e. R. J. dot com slash B e g, and then the number one. So bg like beginning and then the number one that's RJ DOT COM slash bg one that pdf should give you some extra details to layer on top of some of the insights that Matthew provides for us here today. So further ado this is Matthew mcconaughey with arm on the and business podcast So I'll kind of dive in first here on this topic of Ai Readiness and ask you about what you consider to be sort of the core components, the core aspects of Iranian s within the enterprise obviously a lot of moving parts here what comes to mind for you? Yeah. That's a good question I think. One of the core questions is one that I think people sometimes miss with respect to a I is. Now there's the problem that you're trying to solve. Of course, understanding that from the get go is key in pretty much any scientific or engineering discipline, but then with Ai. Knowing how your machine learning or a model actually going to be deployed. So what is that model gonNA run on in the field as it can run on a some kind of a big server in a cloud data center somewhere with no terabytes of memory and an of GPS and processors, or is that model ultimately going to be deployed on some kind of you know very constrained embedded device say you know in a in a o not censor or mobile phone or a car and everything in between? So think what we sometimes see is that a model will be developed by a data scientist or or. application will be developed without a good understanding deployment and where that gets prickly as you've developed this model, it uses you know. Fifty gigabytes of memory and then Lo and behold actually want to deploy it on a constrained device that has you know two hundred and fifty six kilobytes of memory, and now you need to do some surgery. Got It. So readiness here you're talking about you know not only involving the model, but involving sort of what are we going to run it on DC? This is potentially part of the four thought process for companies obviously, not everybody's GonNa have devices. Out in the field, people have security cameras, La- run things on mobile phones you know in in cars or maybe heavy industry the have it on a boat somewhere maybe other folks are just GonNa have stuff up in the cloud but for you, it sounds like maybe that thought process should happen as we're coming up with ideas not sort of after we've developed a great model idea that those have to be married to hardware sort of at the brainstorm phases kind of what you're getting at. That's exactly right as part of the upfront? Planning. Stage of enterprise preparing for a readiness. Yes. Some consideration for. What devices is this actually gonna run on and what are the key characteristics of those devices and and the interesting about it is that like I said, you can build models you know and build ai applications that you know recognize faces and use lots and lots of memory or they can have models at recognize faces and use very little memory. And making that trade off and understanding that that trade off will need to be made between accuracy and memory upfront will save people pain down

"Meteorologist RJ high a NewsRadio nine twenty four seven FM. The Glenn Beck program. Peter Sweitzer is with us president of government accountability institute producer of a new documentary that is out and you find it at the creepy line dot com. The creepy line. And it comes from a quote from the guy who's running Google, the, you know, we we're not gonna implant things into your head. But we're gonna come right up to that creepy line. That's terrifying. Or from somebody who's in charge of Google, Peter. I wanna I wanna talk to you about de platforming. I am currently saying to anyone who has a conservative voice. Let's all get on a single server. Let's get onto our own platform together. We don't have to join business or but we have to have a protected platform because I believe these companies or going to platform us one by one is this what you've been doing here. Yeah. I think you're very smart to do that. I think you're very smart to do that because let's step back, and I consider the power of Google and a lot of people don't realize. This but it was widely reported in the guardian. Elsewhere in two thousand nine Google actually shut down the entire internet for two hours on a Saturday morning. They blacklisted the entire internet that shows you the scope and the size that Google Wisman. They blacklisted the entire internet. If you go to the guardian WWW, yes, they shut down the entire internet. A couple years later, they shut down half of Japan's internet. They said it was sort of an error that they, but but the point being the size and the scope of this company is enormous and a lot of people don't realize even if they're not using a Google product. Somebody will say why don't use g mail. I'm not worried about g mail. That's fine. But is your company may be John Smith at acme Inc dot com, but his acne inC's, Email server, actually, a Google product. Because if it is go Google is monitoring and watching what you're doing, and it's part of the data collection. They're doing on you a lot of news organizations in the United States, use Google. We highlight in the film, for example. Robert Epstein this scholar who has been critical of Google Clinton supporter a Clinton supporter. Harvard PHD in psychology. Iran did some studies and the Washington Post ran a piece about could Google swing election. This is back in twenty twelve. Yeah. Then next day. Robert Epstein was shot out of Google. He could not get on fire, FOX. He could not get any on on any of the the Google products. They had shut him out. Same thing happened to Jordan Peterson university of Toronto professor who had taken up position about forced speech on general gender pronouns the next morning when that went public. He was locked out of his g mail accounts and Google would not let him back into his g mail account, all of his emails, his calendars and everything he was blocked from the point being they have a lot of power. And you cannot assume that Google is not going to take these actions people will say a lot of times whether a company they wanna make their customers happy, they are more than a traditional company, they say so themselves they view themselves as a company with a mission. So here. Here's what people say when when I use g male. Well, you know, Google is monitoring your mail. They're not reading my mail. Actually, you are both right and wrong. They are not reading your mail. However, they are analyzing your mail because what they're doing is collecting the information on how people relate to one another. How people talk to one another all four. They're a research. So Google isn't free right for no reason. That's exactly right. You are the product say what is Google's product. You are the product because they are selling information on Glenn Beck or on Peter Schweitzer or on whoever. And more importantly, I think they are analyzed. All look there's this is just at the beginning. Let me tell you spooky story you go to Beijing. There are three concentric circles of security in Beijing the center. Or is the main city of Beijing? How many people use look it up for me Williams, do how many millions of people are living in Beijing? In the city proper. That is the inner circle there is so much monitoring going on. They just did a test. They released the guy they they took a guy pick somebody said go into the center of the city, just go hide. Okay. They had a picture of the guy and the Chinese tested this new brand new system and then after like an hour or two they gave the the system the picture of the guy and said find him in eight minutes, he was in the back of a squad car. Unbelievable in minutes. Yes. Fifty of twenty two million twenty two millions amazing in eight minutes. Yeah. So and this is without a I. This is the kind of stuff that is coming that people really need to pay attention to. That's right. And and Google is at the forefront of that they take a position of pride that they are the forefront of exploiting future technologies real quick though on g mail. This is very important for people to realize it just shows you how far Google goes. I used to have a g mail account. Now what she does is. They scan every Email that comes into your g mail account. And every Email you send out you know, what else they scan? If you've ever written a draft Email. Let's say you're mad at your cousin. You know, I'm sick of, you know, cousin Chris and all the crazy stuff. He does. And you're late one night you write a draft. And you say, you know, what I don't think I'm going to send that to Chris. That's just mean hang on just a second. I wanna make sure this is writing a draft. But that's not saving it as a drafts. Correct. It's just you. It counts the delete, delete, delete, delete, delete, delete. It's not even saving it as a draft. Right. Correct. That's correct is scanned by Google. So Google knows more about you than you know, you can have a very open and completely transparent relationship with anybody in your life. Your spouse, your best, friend, whatever who Google knows more about you than they do, and they are very aggressively going to retain that information. But they're using it against you. Here's the key thing. It's not just privacy. It's manipulation because they want to take that information and not just sell information advertisers. They as part of their mission wants you steer and move your life in a certain direction that they deem is the way the direction your life should go. Peter Schweitzer, the documentaries the creepy line coupling push back in a couple of things. Sure. Or at least problems I have because I'm with you on ninety percent of this one issue. I have is Google is awesome. It's all of the products that they make are better than everybody else's product. That is similar track. It would eat incredibly inconvenience me to give Google because all of their products work better than everybody else's doesn't..

Which is, my favorite Exceed song, of all time timing You guys go with. Fernando red Rigas who was spectacular three two thirds tied, is longest doubting of the year but Blitz look what he's. Done, recently I think for the last month you could, argue He has been one of the most effective, pitchers staff and he's thrown into a tough spots, because of these late notice starts he said to make the last. Couple of, weekends but he deals with it very well as as expected veterans too but I. I love his stuff right. Now that curve ball fastball mixing together very well At the center. Of lineup that really only got one real mistake all night from the where the ball game but Fernando set the table so, I I give my vote to him I love, Fernando I love watching pitch he's been dominant I wish he would. Work just, a little bit more quickly that would that would make me a happy meal You know I do think. Josh you make a great point in that. Isn't it interesting. That if you talk. About the last. Month maybe six weeks going on now the guys that have. Elevated this staff are Fernando and the Josh Smith No one could have ever thought that Just the same thing we'll look at that this the staff, who is led by a starting pitcher Jalen beats and. Out of the bullpen brazier Peres buttery, none of these guys are here anymore and it was the guys who are. Sort of buried of the depth chart, if you will early in the season who. Are the standouts that help it up so terrific stretch Fernando Rodriguez was worried about his roster. Spot when he, got up disabled list I mean he he didn't know if he'd be, able to stick around. With his club and he's been awesome he's had. Stopped, to Yarra for over a month now Speaking. Of the bullpen and and all the, guys that have departed again tonight Ryan brazier. Comes in after the starter he pitches a perfect in in a five two win he comes. In after David, price every every night it seems Alex Cora trust Brian brazier just about, more than anybody on. The whole staff not make nut named Craig kimbrel. Crazy I think you gotta save right now he's on track to, be on the postseason roster that is not even up for debate not even close not only that shot he's gonna. Pitch in, huge spots in the postseason reminds me. A little bit of Brandon workman at two, thousand thirteen. In that regard a guy who was in the. Minor leagues for a, lot, of the year when it became a trusted guy he was the eighth inning setup man for Koji He was awesome in the postseason you're going to. Play the hot hand I think a hundred percent he's above Joe Kelly and. Alex cora's pecking order whether or not Embry, I'm not as sure Barnes probably still has the edge there but I mean I I it's been so impressive Mike as you sir you are fast at work editing a photo shopping getting some things ready for our website we appreciate, that effort but it is time. For you to make a, photo shopping right now go with Marcus Balderas we talked about September around the corner where we're two weeks away to September first when rosters expand tonight. And Marcus Walden his last two outings I think is look. Different than, really maybe any of the outings that. He's had in Pawtucket busy or even before the injury when he was coming back to, the PawSox after, going up to the. Red Sox there is a back and forth there was the starting experiment even though he wasn't giving a tunnel length. At the start, of those ball games really good now and his sinkers what you want out of him he's getting more and, more confident with his Slatter as well he's always Got back cutter in the back pocket I thought Walden look very. Good and I think that. Could be an important are mid is at least, gonna able to to. Provide some rest in September and who knows what else you. Could do these, are really, important out expert Marcus. Because, of that, he, has to show.
