Of course, no Russian CS go organizations in the mix meaning no verdis pro, but we'll have to wait on news for gambits as their players are unknown as to what they'll do in the EPL. However, VP players are competing in Group B next week as team outsiders. But today, group a saw G two beating looking for an org and tropic handling mouths and fanatic getting tossed for a loss against ninjas in pajamas ESL announced that specially for this offline event that zawe monitors would be used as they are the official monitor partner for the league. And as such, all players are on their 240 hertz two K monitors during the competition. They join other EPL sponsors like Intel DHL and Monster Energy. "Topic of the day off, or the post Majors hangover is the latest valorem patch. And boy, is it a doozy? Almost every single agent in weapon has been updated in some way, shape, or form with a buff Nerf or reward is being implemented. Riot games is also adding an account leveling allowing players to show experience that having to grind to the ranking system. Eight hours a day, four days a week, not to mention a free battle pass for the season. There's plenty of changes to go through, but our own just in a min helped break it down and eat. TSM Can't Use FTX In Name

"This month. TSM team Solomid signed a naming-rights deal with cryptocurrency exchange ft x worth 210 million dollars over ten years to be known as TSM. Ft x. That branding however is under siege as Esports leagues around the industry are blocking or will be blocking the FTX portion of tsm's, new name siding that it breaks part of their sponsorship and partnership rules for their leagues. Riot games, notably page has blocked the FTX in League of Legends and Valor and titles but now Rainbow Six Siege mid broadcast after a pause there, player tags switched from TSM, FTX to Simply TSM Ubisoft home, the sole discretion for what sponsorships are allowed and currently it's not clear. Whether ft x will be allowed to be used in the TSM name for CDs games for a 210 million dollar deal. It's not really paying off. Dancing games like ft x had hoped for

Ready for a Summer Games Fest?

"So mike you remember when we used to go to the electronic entertainment expo and see a bunch of new video games. Yeah seems like another lifetime ago. It's been nearly two years since last time i was. I was in los angeles for the annual e. Three industry convention obviously last year. It was canceled because of the coronavirus pandemic and to fill in the void. Our pal jeff keely created this summer fest which was a series of online streamed events including a preview of playstation five and a bunch of games. And now if you're into games you've probably heard jeff who began covering the industry as a teenager and then in later years began producing the game awards in two thousand fourteen which many of equated to the academy award for video games. Well this summer. He's going to produce the summer games fest again and kicks off june tenth so far participants include Playstation xbox activision to k amazon games electronic arts epic games riot games tencent games and newbie soft. And there's more but that's that's that's gives you an idea it's going to be really well supported and then there's a new. A new independent games will be highlighted in something called days of the davos. Which is a showcase produced by eight bit and double fine productions which is one of our favourite game developers and they've made some super games including full-throttle second thoughts and grim fandango. I'm not sure if you're a fan or not but rock band. Weezer live on this june tenth broadcast. And you can watch on all the major streaming platforms including twitch twitter youtube. We have all the links in my story on tech usa. Today dot com they'll be more musical performances and special guest announced in the coming weeks jeff said and in the announcement came out. But what's really going to be. Interesting is if when and how the summer games i might conflict and come right up against e. three which is back this year but we'll be all online and streamed.

"Week. Right games told users. They were updating their privacy policy. Giving the company permission to record valent voice communications. This comes as part of an effort to moderate moderate toxic behavior in the gaming community. This is a headline that should scare gamers while riot claims they are recording voice. Communications to weed out toxic players. It's far more likely. They are doing this to collect data that they can later use or sell given riots chinese ownership. This is doubly worrisome as policing what can be done with the data. Is that much more difficult. I hope that games do not follow suit tempting as it may be but right is unfortunately setting a bad precedent here

Riot Games Will Monitor Voice Chat in Valorant for Toxicity

"Riot has announced that they will now be recording and monitoring voice comes in order to combat toxic behavior. So this has been rumored. I think for a little bit now Going on in certain games maybe not exactly with riot but just in general with games and everything. It's i've always had the saying. Look if you're gonna talk shit. Satan voice check. They can't report you for it. That's kind of my mild saying well. Now i can't go with that rule of thumb anymore. I guess because they now can report you for it. I'm surprised it's taken this long for this technology to get implemented somewhere. Can you imagine if this was in pub- g before you eject out of the plane you would have over fifty people band before you even like left the plane in that type of game right with all the ship that was talked in the pre lobby chad for those games are awesome for riot to to do this. I think it's great like i'm not a toxic individual so for me. This is not like a worrisome thing. Right and then there's a difference between like getting mad kind of toxic and then caught sexual harassment. Type stuff being racist. Like that's the stuff that i i'd hate like i have to sit there in people. Report them knowing. Nothing's probably going to happen because it happened of voice shot. They didn't say any of it. type any of Nothing's going to happen. Most likely but i think this is great and i would love it even more if you had to attach a personal. Id to your account you know so. This stuff was tied to us individual. I think they do that. In china which is not going to be popular for me to say For american listeners. But like i. I would be very much. Okay like you know. Riot Games Loses Alienware as LoL Partner, Denies Allegations Towards CEO

"So we need to talk about Ride game CEO and the allegations against him on the dreams and the sports minute from E Sports Network have to say my last two weeks in the show. Certainly haven't been overly wage doesn't and today is no different. Here's the background on January 7th. Former Ride Games employees Sharon O'donnell filed a lawsuit against her former boss right game CEO Nicola rent in that lawsuit O'Donnell alleged that Lorenz had created a hostile work environment and had fired her after she denied his sexual advances among other issues that lawsuit is still ongoing but this week sought a big piece of news around it. The first was Alienware a major partner of the Legends Esports cutting its deal with Riot games short. According to Jacob Wolfe now at. E sports that deal was set to continue through January 8th 2022, but Alienware wanted to terminated ten months early wolf also has reported that ride games image impacted by allegations like the ones with the rent as well as the ongoing discrimination lawsuit home. And the neon controversy of the last summer played an important part in Alien, we're leaving the deal early right games is still in that lawsuit with many former female employees around sex discrimination in the workplace is an issue that came to light with the Kotaku article from 2018 Ride Games is currently focusing legal efforts in that case on pushing the lawsuit to arbitration the neon controversy centered around right about accepting a sponsorship from a new city in Saudi Arabia at faced immediate backlash from fans casters and parts of the community do to Saudi Arabia's poor record on human rights in a variety of different areas. But the most topical impact on Ride Games image is those allegations towards threat yesterday right games announced that the right games board found no wrongdoing by the rent and recommended no sanctions following a third-party investigation the recommendation of no sanctions came from three people doing the investigating of a law firm to review of the allegations that law firm was hired by Riot but it was not the same Law Firm that is representing them in the case against O'Donnell the three people reviewing the law firms report were young May Moon a Harvard Business School professor and part of riots board as well as two unnamed male c-level Executives at 10 sent the Chinese company that owns Riot for his part. Riot Games VALORANT / MSI Plans Show an Esports World Leaving LAN-Hibernation

"In Eastport during a pandemic is difficult thing to do Valor has done a pretty good job getting up and running without business as usual to rely on but today where I walk ins and outs of these Sports first land over a year since the game came out in beta in late May for VCT stage two masters. The top teams will be traveling directly vik Iceland to compete with that's still a long ways away, but it's really cool that we can actually have lands booked into the schedule again, even if fans still won't be able to attend this event the only major land to go down during the pandemic was Riot games pulling off League of Legends World in a bubble like environment at the height of the outbreak as cases shoot back down to earth and more people are vaccinated events are slowly going to pick back up cautiously optimistic is how I said, At this rate, it seems like fans will be in stands by early summer at least At A reduced capacity for I'd games they put all their chips in on Iceland this year. In addition to the stage two masters Iceland be the host of MSI running from early May up until a few days before VCT. I mean if you're going to hold multiple events in one country during a pandemic Iceland probably makes a pretty good choice. The back-to-back of MSI and then the stage two masters is kind of reminiscent of the old Festival like feeling of ESL and dreamhack events and honestly should be a ton of fun. It's a Fortune, of course, the fans won't be able to attend and receive that long but for the players will have a great time for people who aren't totally up-to-date on Valor and Esports. I'm getting a little ahead of myself here considering the first stage one Masters event still hasn't even happened that event is taking up in mid-march and it's also really noteworthy as it's going to show the first time since first strike that the overall appetite for top Valerie T sports events. I'm really curious what the viewership is going to be like on that one because it'll really highlight the fan favorite teams and how much will foothold Valerie has been able to take on and its first year certainly isn't make or break. It's the very first year of the Eastport but comparing that viewership to see us go off OverWatch and Call of Duty viewership benchmarks should make for an interesting thought experiment once it happens.

Anzu's Plan to Evolve In-Game Advertising with CEO Itamar Benedy

"Any of these Sports networks other properties on this episode of the E Sports Network podcast for bringing back a gasp from about a year ago wage a little more bonetti. He's the co-founder and CEO of on zoo in a more. Welcome back to the Shelf. Hey meets great to be here tomorrow is on the show back in February of 2020 where we discussed the growth of in-game advertising age people who miss that show or too many of our new listeners since then on to his a platform that makes it easier for braids to get into video game worlds and for developers to open up more potential White spaces in their games for Grants Pass. I'll do is work with Publishers like Ubisoft at lide Castle to deliver Brayden moments for major. It's like Samsung Pepsi American Eagle and many more Esports. We've seen it gave ads take Auto larger role especially patiently League of Legends open up space in summoner's Rift and it was filled by MasterCard an Alienware among other partners and just this morning as a record this on Wednesday, February 10th, 2021 rocket League announced that Ford is going to take over there it gave Billboards for the upcoming which are major on zoo also had a big adults with this what the platform recently raised nine million dollars in additional capital in around Kool-Aid buyback Fetchers and hbse Ventures. There is participation by plenty more investors, of course, including Mark Merrill, one of the two founders of Riot games, this follows two other funny raises of three and five million. So in Mark Gratz of the race, first of all, what are the plans for this capital? Yeah, thank you Mitch. So as you said we raised 9 million dollars beatcraft is one of our previous investors are still leading gaming Esports v c. B c is a new VC which comes from the sport world and a lot of touchpoints around gaming and then other investors are wpp the biggest advertising group in the world, which is also like in the existing investor and Sony Innovation fund, you know, Sony is one of the biggest gaming groups in the world and the owner of PlayStation. So that's a privilege to have them on board Mark Romero the founder and chairman of road games on League of Legends. As you mentioned didn't call ins the founder and CEO of super awesome that recently got acquired by epic games and the Chicago Cubs. Yeah, the baseball team go Ventures and gainesville's and illumine Adventures. So a very crowded and exciting structure of invest investors to have on board. I'm a Cardinals fan so we'll let the dog So invested things slide, I guess but grats on all the different people who came together you mentioned before we started recording you were in the position that every founder kind of hopes. They find themselves in which is we have a few people. We have a different options for Capital so we can pick the people that make the most strategic sense for us going forward. What did you find from the mobile the different investors? What were you looking for? Especially as guiding parts of the company to push it Forward? Sure. So I mean, you know what this round was not about it was not about as fast as we could have fine as it like very very fast as what it was about bringing the best structure. Number one number two, it was about, you know to maximize shareholder value. We could raise almost double the amount but we didn't want to make sense. This is the amount of cash we need for next stage Rose and then in the future if it's a year from now or two years from now we can do another round off. For that makes sense. So we were not looking at at you know, these things it was more about we have a lot of confidence in him. Advertising is going to become a major business model for game divorce across all platforms, through PC Mobile and an important ads category four Brands media agencies and the ESPYs and and the question is how fast can that happen or more sneaking about big Brands big Publishers not easy companies to convince them to do something new. So when we meet partners that can help us to make this happen faster than wages. Are we get excited one form to partner is again investment one is a strategic partnership and they can elaborate more of some of the Partnerships we have in place and some of them is people who join our team. So that was what was guiding us and looking at the different, you know buckets of we are investors came from there is some you know, some like VCS and financial institutions. There is advertising and groups. There is game. Groups and there is a sports organizations that have a lot of touch point in going to become an important overlap in my opinion the next two years. And of course there is like with the values that we want to group represents and communicate us companies gauges as the leading investor for equal opportunity and Which choice for us an important to him and announcement to basically said if the world that was how we were looking at it that's a great place to be at

Riot Games CEO Faces Lawsuit Alleging Sexual Harassment, Misconduct

"Games CEO has been accused of sexual harassment and misconduct by a former employee and they're investigating internally. I'm at dreams and this is the Esports minute from you Sports Network racking said money issues with gender discrimination in the workplace starting with a 2018 article published by Kotaku that detailed the culture of sexism it right games developer has basically been in court the entire time multiple lawsuits have been filed against the company and one lawsuit was settled out of court for ten million dollars and I think most people thought that was the end of it but after being examined by California state agencies found that the woman might be entitled to as much as four hundred million dollars. So the women pulled out of the ten million dollar settlement then they got new legal counsel. And now they're back in court. The ten million was not paid out and the case has not been settled that case is still ongoing with Ride Games trying to push more women into arbitration and prevent a jury trial but last month another case was opened up against the wage. Sharon O'donnell vs riot games, Nicolas Le rent or rent is the CEO of Riot Sharon O'donnell was a former executive assistant for the company who worked closely with the rent during her time O'Donnell accuses the rent of creating a hostile work environment with allegations of unwanted sexual advancements demeaning comments about O'Donnell's femininity and termination for not reciprocating his advancement Riot games naturally disputed that characterization of her termination. There are specific grievances in the filing. I cannot go over them all in this format, but they include the page as you know, Donald whether she could quote handle him when they were alone at his house and quote and there were also according to O'Donnell questions about her underwear according to the lawsuit when O'Donnell refused became angry started removing work responsibilities and eventually terminated her contract right game says that O'Donnell was terminated after over a dozen complaints from employees and external p.m. There's no ride games claim to be changing their culture for the better after that Kotaku article the rent even published a blog post titled the buck stopped with the CEO where he pledged to do better off clearly Riot games has not worked through all of their issues with this case and the other one that is still ongoing. We will update you more on this show as these cases progress.

PUMA Sponsors Honor of Kings' KPL to Join Nike as Major Athletic Apparel Brands with Esports League Contracts

"Know. I have a weird fixation on the Athletic Apparel Brands and the work they do in Esports and I absolutely blame growing up in Beaverton, Oregon the home of Nike but while I'm only kind of biased to the swoosh, I'll admit that. I'm a fan of all the brands in Esports and especially Puma because they're led by Matt Shaw who happens to be one of my favorite people in all of these Sports on Sunday Puma announced a new major sponsorship Puma sponsoring ten cents king of league. If you haven't heard of the kpl the kpl is the top level of honor of Kings Esports, and I know you don't live in China on Earth Kings is called Arena of Valor in the West End is basically League of Legends mobile version including being published by 10 said now Riot games is actually in the process of creating wild Rift and official mobile version 4 league, but it likely won't take off in China because on Earth Kings is already huge and domination. Market, and it really really dominates that market as of March 2019 the game and brought in four point five billion dollars according to sensor Tower. I'll do something quick extrapolating math here. I found individual month's Revenue numbers from 20 20, which average I think this actually might be a conservative estimate another two hundred million dollars per month in revenue for honor of Kings. So if we take to walk 1 million as an average and multiply it by the 22-month separating March 2019 and January 2021, we get an additional four point four billion dollars in Revenue that would bring honor of Kings total halt to a point nine billion dollars since launch in 2015. That's a lot of money a lot of money this week the developer TV studios. Also announced another $154,000 would be invested in honor of Kings Esports with about six million of that going to prize pools for Puma. It's a huge win. The only other Esports League represented by Athletic Apparel birth. Like I said at the top is Nike and they have the League of Legends Pro league in China. And while the LPL is almost certainly the most important individual League contract and all of Esports honor of Kings K p.m. Is honestly not that far behind. It's just almost purely popular in China what Nike got with the LPL was also that International exposure that comes with worlds. Primarily Puma also offer deals with Cloud Nine and Gingy. I predicted the race for Esports assets from Nike Puma and Adidas would pick up and twenty Twenty-One and with Adidas already partnering with G2 and now Puma grabbing the kpl only in January. The race is definitely picking up steam already.

"Is opportunities across digital media podcasting and video programs. Please reach out to e-sports our CEO marked in using the email address of the show The sooner we're going to sponsor the sooner. I don't have to lead every episode with that read. I know you all want that for Valor its first six months was a nice sport. The game has been led by E Sports organizations offering individual tournaments besides riots pretty successful First Strike series, the developer has been uncharacteristically hands off when it's come to valorous events. Well that's changing soon kind of off the 2021 Valor and champions tour was announced this morning. And even though it's the longest-running competition that ride games has ever announced for Valerie. Ain't it's going to be run in N A at least by nerd Street Gamers Club. Nerd street is a bit of a do-it-all Brandon Esports. The company has a media alarm. We're full disclosure. I've recently been publishing articles. They also have an abundance team and a network of facilities as well lately. They've been a major leader in N A Valerie the host of the first strike in a tournament in December and this month have also hosted two major tournaments won a partnership with complexity and the other the recently ran a winter championships, the new stage wanted the champions tour is much more expensive which is why we say that this is coming directly from Riot. This event will run from January 27th to mid-march the terminal be a mix of open and closed events culminating in a Master Series in March those open and closed qualifiers will take place over two weekends. The first Open qualifier will happen on January 27th. And then the the first closed qualifier will take place the weekend after that pattern repeats in mid February and again in late February into March the entire goal will be to reach these Masters Tournaments, which will take place on March 13th. March 14th, and then again on March nineteenth twentieth and twenty-first that Masters tournament will be the biggest stage Valerie Esports has seen so far in the games first year as an esport up until this point. Manny Anekal Breaks Down Why No One is Watching Venn

"We are going to be talking about vent and for people unfamiliar Fen is a new network started in part by Ariel horn. He's an experienced producer who is a leader in some of Riot games broadcasts including one that one of a sports Emmy for the 2017 League of Legends world's finals before that. He was a producer on Olympics broadcast for major networks like NBC, I believe where he also won some sports happens. So to say he's got who knows what he's doing. He left Riot to start vet and experimental new broadcast channel filled with original programming and it hasn't worked Manny recently published a newsletter titled why no one is watching a vet. And we're going to look at some of the reasons for the channels lack of success. And before we get into that conversation, I think it's important to say that we are traveling in this failure by any means so my friends and really good p.m. The industry are hosting shows over there, but the fact of the matter is your ship is not just bad. It's abysmal recording this on Tuesday December 15th, and you'll be hearing it on Friday riding. Guess not much has changed right now invents YouTube with fifteen thousand subscribers the video posted six hours ago has 42 views for two. That's it videos for the day before have eighty-eight and eighty-nine Views took me one events last 30 published videos from the last week and a half cracked 1,000 views in total. I pulled up twitch and they're alive with a rebroadcast. So it's not new life content. But only eighteen people are watching currently to be honest. My brother's friends get more being bad at Call of Duty. So so I guess that's the best place to start Manny. Can you summarize? Why does you think no one is watching found that you laid out in that newsletter. Yeah. I mean, you know, I mean think there's you know many reasons for that. You know, I think I'd also like to start off with you know, how you did in terms of, you know, we're not obviously, you know, reveling in failure and wishing. You know bad things other people in the industry. We all want to see you know gaming and he Sports content, you know, not only survive but actually Thrive, you know, so it is unfortunate when something comes along, you know, great promise and and doesn't deliver and you know, as I had laid out in the article in in newsletter is I think there's a couple of different areas that you can look at into why the production of been hasn't really succeeded you mentioned, you know, some of when you look at you know, they're Wednesday live show which broadcasts on Twitch and different Ott platform. Well, you know, the viewership is absolutely low, you know, I've checked multiple times since I've even posted that article and sometimes I don't see more than you know, a hundred people watching. So how is that really possible in today's day and age and also during a time of covid-19 Americans really consuming more content than there ever done before so I think you can break it down into a few different ways off. First and foremost is competition, you know again going back, you know me a decade ago, you obviously had things like G for TV and things that were kind of new relatives space but you know fast forward to 20 obviously with the explosion of gaming e Sports content starting about five years ago. Everyone in the mother is played the space. So you have you know, dedicated media channels specific to gaming any sports like a jinx TV and watch TV some of those are based in Europe as well and carried on satellite channels. So you have dedicated channels there. Then you have your traditional Sports media coverage. For example, like ESPN or the score bar stools obviously had a great year as well. You know, they have Barstool gaming Hooligans and you know, they're obviously playing the space then you obviously have your dedicated, you know, e Sports coverage like daily XR know and then all the TV networks as we talked about earlier this year such as you know Turner's had a lead for a while ESPN's had many many events on there as well as Disney and then what we saw with Fox Sports with NASCAR earlier this month You know, they had a really great job. So that's just from like a media perspective and then you then you're not talking talking about for example watching League of Legends world. You content operators like ESL all the numerous events that they put out and then finally furthermore even teams like hundred thieves or phase plan which do their own tournaments obvious released tons of content. So starting off that you're entering into a completely crowded market. So I think that was going to be very challenging to start off.

"This's business rock stars. I'm Bernie Lehman and my guest is Chris Hopper, Head of east towards North America at riot games, Chris, Thanks so much for joining us today. Thanks for having me excited. So what were you doing before riot games That led you to your career was working for Ah strategy consulting firm that worked with Rachel Banks in New York on Actually, That's how I kind of meant League of legends, in fact, was my manager who introduced me to the game, and I was actually playing with him and met one of his buddies kind of interning at riot and he's the guy that said, you know, East forces this team that they're building. They don't know what's going on. There is a problem solvers. You should check it out of applying through him. So you know, sort of this weird If I manager hadn't introduced me, I probably wouldn't have left the company. But, you know, I guess Karmically later here I am. And you know, glad of here. That's amazing, and so different from what you were doing very different challenges, and you've been a part of the senior team at riot games and League of Legends has seen tremendous growth. Can you tell us about how East sports has grown and specifically how it's grown at riot? Sure s O. I came to riot back in 2012 and back Then he sports was a very different entity than it was today. Back then there was a lot of independent tournament organizers. You've seen multi game events, you know, M LG's and Appeals and things like that. And write really took one of the first steps into developer driven sort of single game, He sports Andi No. We created the domestic leagues in North America and Europe. Now we've actually spread to 13 regions. Globally. We have 13 different domestic leagues running Andrea Lee. We just tried to be responsive to the players. At every step. We tried to see what is it the players want and what is the product that we think would be best for those Those gamers and those viewers who want to participate in the sport. So you know what we wanted was created ice makes of domestic competition. There'll be aspirational for players all those regions but also culminating in incredibly competitive mastering German events like a roll championships. There's been an evolution over time, and we certainly you know I made some mistakes and learn from them along the way, But I'd say at this point we feel pretty pretty possibly about the product in we put out there. That's amazing. And as you're saying you hold the championship every year, and the viewership is close to matching the Super Bowl. Why fans so excited by the teams and the game? You know, this year was this year was certainly special year. I think. The last several years have been dominated by teams from our Korean League. This year, There was no cream team even in the semi finals of the North Dragon team there to European teams of the Chinese team. So there's more international representation this year. I think the term it felt a little more for grabs this year, so more people are kind of excited until as foretold of an outcome, But overall, I think it's just that people have a passion for this game. You know, it's something where The mastery and you know the time you invest in it can be rewarded and watching these pros play and watching the time they've invested their master be rewarded is incredibly compelling. And you know for anybody who's who played football, played basketball as a kid and now watches the MBA and watches the NFL. It doesn't matter that you can't for a 60 yard touchdown past. The fact that you can appreciate what goes into somebody who can first experience from past is what makes that supports their special so in a lot of ways. Our game being so relatable and so inclusive, I think makes the East for not much more compelling. And before we were kind of you mentioned that there were some challenges along the way Some of those challenges faced and how did you guys have overcome those? You know? What's interesting is that there's a lot of different parties in our ecosystem. Right When you think about basketball, there's only two parties. There's the MBA, which is comprised of the owners and as the players in our system, we have riot who owns League of Legends. Where's No one really owns the kinds of the past one owns. The basketball teams were independent entities. The pros are independent cities and then we also consider the viewers to kind of be 1/4 party that's invested in our ecosystem. That's the one we're making decisions around Leave format. We're choosing between best of three sources festive ones. We have to weigh the pros desire for a more competitive. Siri's, which you know they want more games to be able to test our competitors and limit limit randomness with fan desire for something that's simpler and easier to consume. With the team desire where they want maximum exposure for their brands and their sponsorship. And so it just becomes this really convoluted system of kind of prose and constant decision we make, so we've we've way went from being the one to be 03. We went back to best of one. We've tried putting more games on the calendar, putting more games and given day kind of playing with, you know, Do we want to be on two shames wants or one shame? And so it's just a lot of No testing kind of understanding what the preferences are of our viewership. But at the end of the day, trying to make sure that we're always making the best decision for the entire ecosystem. Absolutely, and was a major company sponsoring league of Legends and e Sports in general, Can you talk about that? And how that has grown? Sure. So you know, back in 12 4013. You really only saw the endemic brands coming into Eastport. You saw large attack an alien where Plantronics, you know, like the literal Computer accessories and computer makers that you need to play the game. What's exciting is that now Brand are starting to see that our demographic and our audience is incredibly compelling. And they're incredibly engaged in the product that we make when you're thinking about The key demographic for a lot of being kind of brand decisions. You're basically 18 to 30 and likely Stephen 18 to 24 for financial services. Carr's personal hygiene products like there's so many Decisions that you make in that span that if you can find a way to appeal to a very tightly knit group there, that's a very compelling product. When you think about the N B, A or the NFL. In.

"Carr's personal hygiene products like there's so many Decisions that you make in that span that if you can find a way to appeal to a very tightly knit group there, that's a very compelling product. When you think about the N B, A or the NFL. In most cases, those guys those leads. We're looking at 20% of their audiences in the 18 to 24 range hours is 80%. So when you think about a compelling value proposition just to all these companies that want to speak to This new generation of financial decision makers. They're all watching our game. They're all watching our product, and they're watching for hours at a time. They're incredibly engaged in the ecosystem. So you know whether it's the core of the audience or how much time they're investing. There's just a ton of value to be found in the ecosystem. And you know you have such a loyalty, Ray, like all these people playing these games are so loyal League of Legends and riot. And so it makes sense. You know, it kind of in a lot of ways to me makes sense to see why, like a football fan doesn't just become a baseball fan overnight. You spend so much time investing and learning a sport. And that that learning that you do pays off in the greater understanding and appreciation of what's happening. So just because for night is the new thing. Our Overwatch is the new thing or street fighters. The new thing doesn't mean that all of these people have spent years watching league of legends are just gonna make the jump. Go now Streetfighter fan because the new game they might play that came for a little bit, And that's actually okay with us right philosophy on Game design has always been We want lied to me the game that you come back Teo, And so it survives thes Triple A launches over time. That's why the game has been as big as it has for 10 years before. Many's for perspective. We feel like we have Ah, stronger kind of hold a stronger engagement with that core audience and employees actually paid to play. Other games were talking about before we turn on the cameras. Tell me a little bit about that. And riots, company culture, you know. Everything The right does is trying to be a player focused. You know, our company motto is literally we aspire to be the most player from just game company in the world. And so a lot of that has to do with creating gamer, empathy and understanding. You know, the decisions that gamers have to make. The experience is that they're having not only within league or than the sports but also outside than in other games, Right actually does provide a stipend every year for every full time employees to go out and spend on other games. And so You know whether it's subscriptions or, you know two of your choice, or, you know, buying the new game that comes on the market. There's just an investment made in writers understanding what gaming looks like you over here because the industry changes so fast that you really have to kind of consciously invested stay abreast of it, and so, especially for a game design team are publishing teams. Understanding. You know the challenges plans might be facing with different game releases or new products out there really helps him position, legal vengeance, better market and for us on the port side. It just helps us to understand. What is the new game out there. What kind of the new trends in showcasing gaming competitions on Kind of what? What games out there might be that that could kind of challenge for our same core viewership. No, it's just It's about education and really putting ourselves in the player shoes. I'd say That's 80% of the battle is just sort of seeing the fire in the eyes of the Entrepreneur take more chances. "And welcome back. This is Lucas Review Journal. Coming coming to you back from the Las Vegas Convention Center at the Level of Expo Davis. Thanks for joining me this afternoon. Shaping Your House the expo going for you so far personally. It's been a little hectic to get all the high schools more involved and making sure that they know where they're going competing but for the most part been very enjoyable to see all the high school was having fun. You know for people who aren't familiar talk about what you're doing so a couple of months ago. I May I recontact. Colts owner the level of Expo. To see that you do to help at the high school community Back then I was only junior in high school and currently a senior in so In THAT TIMESPAN. I've been able to gather three different schools. Also GonNa be under Silver City Sports. In essentially we will create events at gameworks. Unlv stuff for only the high schoolers they get the more involved in the community and so The big thing was a level of Mexico at the end of the year. To make sure that everyone involved could be on a big made savings coverage in so it didn't really fun to see. All Highschool is coming out and making sure that they're having fun. You know the last silver state smash you had over a game where it was a really big success. How many people will you expect him when you started? And were you surprised at how grown from our first back. In October we had seven league or entrance and so expect the second time around back. Then we'll about twenty schools so this time we had thirty so expect at least one hundred show up. Well we almost redundant the one hundred forty five minutes. Total in so regarding reasons. We already rented out the entire game. He's found in Jason Happen in a at that. Same event we have these letterman jackets. Pass out to all the high school or said they can represent their school with school logos on the back of you know we've seen sports obviously grow by leaps and bounds here. Why was it important for you? To organizing at the high school level is cool. Level is a lot of the main demographic for video games and sports in general in so we can get that sweet spot our before they head off to college in we did Sort of introduced the idea of eastwards as a legitimate career for law these high schools whether it's competing production media anything like that we can get them interested in those things in the future. More opportunities will come and take me back to the beginning. When did you start to organize everything? And how long did that take to kind? Get everything together so my junior high school. I was the president of my Smash Club in so we just ran smash brothers tournaments and When smash ultimate came out in two thousand eighteen in December I thought really idea since the game just release on the popular. Nintendo slit does breaking record. Sales of everything I'd have to be really good idea to get a lot of high-schoolers involved within my school to see if they'd be interested in in at that tournament just within west second we had sixty entrance which is in terms of getting clubs involved. Not even see. Tso's like more organized clubs those kind of numbers so is definitely very impressive. Not just for me personally. What rose's school the sports as a career you know being a senior. What's coming next for you? And you know whistle overstate at the High School of. What do you hope to see that? Go on I'm definitely contacting as many partners to see what we can offer already contacted my liver Provide a boot camps at UNLV for the UNLV. Eighteenth coaching the high schoolers in a sort of direct them to continue a career in education to continue their and sports gear as well and so I also contacted within the Nevada and our exports about sports and Talking with CSM before that colleagues well in so also like I said other partners like showing a gaming. They already have a junior team setup where they're feeding from. Silver City sports to make Sponsor teens that are under the age of eighteen in for the most part the communities very supporting the community always be wanting to contact me. See what they WANNA do. The help out these high school in so always high school or the cushion promoters events get as many people didn't show up and defeat his people more when a more doors and opportunities open for everyone. Involved including the highschools. What's next for you personally after High School for me? Personally I would definitely say I'm going to be a hardy applied energy got in doing my mission right now and. I'm going to continue running silver city sports and contact with the partners in in college. I feel like I should have a little more free time that I currently do. So I'd be good definitely Maybe a little more time to make early flush out you know we're talking five years from now what's GonNa be different about the sports world at the high school level at the high school level. Definitely the terms of legitimacy this year loans. We've been able to get Varsity jackets for the player's racing along their schools where I was going to get more schools on board as the years go by but also in quality in terms of with the adventure able to provide the level of Expo gameworks You know me whenever we can offer that seventy something we WANNA push it from over and you only Events on the books here coming up soon for the most part we have one coming up in. I believe April spring break at the sports arena renewed for battle between the top fourteen. Best Smash high schoolers. We're GONNA rent out These work three and a four that stage for a little bit of time so that we can have the best high school his face off against each other so people who WanNa follow silver state. How can they follow what you guys are doing? All we have every social media twitter. Instagram both silver state yes In our youtube channels as well on Youtube Upload the odds of our tournaments and then on twitch covered the livestream also our website look silver state. East sports The first website link in that also all the All the photos McGowan previous events in any potential students are teachers or parents watching this to get more involved. Definitely check out the website. Hey you know as a kind of last question here. Was it always goal to get into this side of it? The planning stage organizers and how challenging exciting is that part of it. I found out pretty quickly. I wasn't good as a competitor but I knew it was in like a religion. Other sports are regular sports. Leagues Like Basketball Football. There are still a lot of work behind scenes so I realized advisors for either Terminal Organization production or anything like that there are still opportunities will ever wants to be involved in so that would really opened on my opportunity when I was like okay. I may not be the best at my school or even like it was in the in the Las Vegas community bikes offer opportunities to get more people involved. Perfect anything else dad right now. I think that's it. Thank you for joining us and welcome back. Thanks again Davis and you know it is truly amazing and it seems like one of those. Next Steps in sports that you have to build out from the younger ages to Kinda give them that Organiz League to help build for the future. Yeah absolutely and I thought it was pretty interesting too on on some more developing news From that I know that Them IN VEGAS INFERNO have partnered up. I'm not sure exactly what that looks like. But it basically created the Vegas Lions and that you know again building up. These kids in east sports From this younger age from a high school age and take an on again. I if you guys are not taking E. Sports and video gaming seriously now is the time it it is it is. It is going to be huge in its. It's already a worldwide. You know a worldwide deal. It's only gonNA get bigger and bigger The more money that's pumped into it You know these are. I could never imagine being a kid and saying you know I'm Gonna. I'm GONNA major in sports exactly so hard like Not today but it's fantastic. That are doing this. They're seeing it On on this education side of it is well under starting to incorporate it into schools in giving these kids new opportunities that That are there and that are going to be growing and expanding as we move forward in time exactly. Yeah you know that announcement the inferno unfortunate happen a week or two or a couple of days after that interview but from the sounds of it it will go beyond just how having vacant for no a sponsor tournament. It sounds like it's a development program and not just on the gaming side broadcasting side on all that so it sounds like the start of something to give these kids a look at all the avenues available to them which is always good You know it's funny too because Davis was saying that they were handing out letterman jackets. Some of the athletes which I think helps legitimize. I mean it seems really silly maybe to us as we get older. But you know when you're in high school you see all the athletes so you don't want to get stuff like that I think helps make it real in people's eyes visually and make. It seem like like a thing instead of an abstract idea. Like Oh okay you got are. They're playing video games and it. Now there's a lot more to this is you know again. This is A sport that they are competing In in some of the best Best Video Gaming Athletes Out there so they are building them and it's always exciting to see something locally like this happening You know please let us know too. If there's other stuff like this happening and other cities please hit us up on twitter at Atlanta Party Pot. Let me try that again at Lan. Parties pod On twitter. "And out with friends trading pokemon battling each other. It was like my. I truly social video game experience and I think that's something that that thank goodness connectivities come a long ways from then but you know even then getting your friends together figuring out who had what POK Mon the different versions trains. You complete your pocock's I mean it brought you together in ways that especially back then People didn't think of video games being able to do right and according to national today dot com the so. Here's they kind of broke out a little timeline. And it's probably not even accurate or not not. It's not not accurate it. Does I think missing a bunch of things but they have August twentieth. Nineteen sixty five So Toshi Tahiri is born the man who launched a worldwide phenomenon The INVENTOR POK MON is born in Tokyo Nineteen ninety-five February. Twenty seventh pokemon needs to world the first pokemon media poke him on red and green a pair of video game. For original Gameboy are released. And I'M GONNA come. I'M GONNA swing back on that here in a second Tenth Birthday February. Seven twenty. Sixteen pokemon celebrates its tenth. Birthday would an advertisement aired during super bowl. Fifty the twenty January twenty first live action movie came out of it and then November. Twenty nineteen is when imported over to to the switch. Something I wanted to ask a question about and I always Kinda know again kind of being outsider of the pokemon world. Why is it that they drop multiple games at the same time? Can you explain that to me a little bit? I never understood that I feel like you would almost be splitting either. Well I guess you're Superfan you're going to get both of them but I feel like you know someone who couldn't afford it. You might be splitting a little bit so you know for a lot of times. In the past. They would come up with three versions. They come out. They'd come out with two initially and then a special edition of that generation. So let me just say the business side of it. Is it forces you to buy more games. You know so. In the past each version of poke him on would have certain pokemon that were only available in that game so not that wouldn't be one version where you could get every poke amount available in that version so it probably still all goes back to business but there were just certain specific. Pok Mon So for instance and sword and shield The the to poke Amman. They're the ones that are on the cover of the Games. You can only get in sort or shield and there's also different. Poke him on that. Are Only available and sword or shield. So you'd have to play those games. Get them in those games in order to use them in future games. Is that in my understanding correctly or no. Well you'd have to play one version. Get that pokemon and either trade with someone or trade with yourself. If you were alone I guess did you. Yes so you could trade. You Could Trade Pok Mon even dating back to the game boy games with those link cables that time so it was a way maybe to force you interact with people and share your adventures and buy more copies but yes so that is why we were told anyway that they came up with two versions and then a third special edition version interesting so as far as future and I know that you know there's not a lot of talk right now The new games came out not too long ago. But we're kind of. What are your hopes for the future of it so? I mean Pokemon is famously series. That doesn't take very big steps. I mean you know. They're they're of the thinking of ain't broke. Why mess with after you know what it's it's been successful it. I would love just love to have a truly open world pokemon game. I mean I think of like breath of the wild open world and said that in the pokemon universe somehow and my mind just goes crazy thinking about that this this other one probably sound even more farfetched but I mean pokemon. Vr experienced could be pretty cool. So there are different ways of Nintendo chooses to do that But the POKEMON company tends to not take very big risks. So if any of that happens it'll probably take awhile. Yeah no it will but It it's been fun to see and and I know how much I didn't realize again being an outsider of it How big it really is I have so many friends Both online and in person that You know they absolutely love Pok Mon. They they they've been about it for forever and I'm just like man. This is this is legit thing like like you know. My first instance of it was from my nephew. My pokemon like I knew about him but I never never watched. Any shows never did any kind of research whatsoever so like truly my first experience of actually playing pokemon was Pokemon goes so I will say I was there. Perfect customer had the Games. I was collecting the cards. I was watching the show seeing the movies. God I did reach out on social media asking people. What some of their favorite. Pok Mon were and the most popular answer I got was even the I got some votes for Volpe. Six and a vote for charm under slash slash. Charred which I mean you know what? They're pretty cool. I must say I was always a Pichu fan just because you can't hit the mascot. I will say this though I do like chart a lot. Yeah I like growl with I've kind of messed with him. A little bit Incinerator I've gotten a play with him on Super Smash. She'll like I've actually been able to play with a few of the characters you know having a smash and whatnot so like I had the connection there. But it's it's it's fun for me. I'm very much an outsider Looking in at Pokemon but I understand my people enjoy and there are a lot of people that enjoy it. There are all right now so I think we can throw now to talk a little bit about League play an obviously a well and depending on what part of the world. You're in either busy weekend or not quite so busy past few weekends Ryan. Let's start with overwatch and let me just ask you. The Corona virus obviously is front center across the Globe and it's affected a Lotta people obviously in a lot of different ways. The gaming industry is starting to feel those effects. Both through league play especially in Asia and some conferences. Having to deal with it you know. It's a weird mix of of of a different part of society now clashing with our little space in the world. Wh How big of an effect do you think the coronavirus can have on some leagues? And what's the solution here? I think it's going to I mean it it's clearly having an impact not only on the League But just gaming and conventions Loan I I spoke about where we talked about. This on another podcast. Cfc game cast. We talked about how. Gd The the Gaming Developers Convention Was postponed as of right now. I think it got pushed back like six months. Kinda like what? I'll sing on there. I think he was just kind of them. Not pulling the trigger and saying that the event is canceled. But hey give us six months we can kinda monitor the situation and then we'll make a call from there You know that You know three has had people pulling out There's another one here In Vegas I can't remember. I think they closed the they. They ended up canceling the. Do you remember what that was So Adobe heavy canceled their summit or whatever the list yeah so. I thought that was so I mean people and I think rightfully so Again this is a a a virus that is spreading rapidly We don't know how severe it can get. I think it you know I would rather be in a boat of being a cautious early and said of being you know. Now I'm reacting to this thing that is way blown out So you know I it. Smart for the people to do it. It's not worth The possibility of of getting You know M- people infected obviously Especially at conventions people are coming from all over the world so you don't know what people you know. They may not know that they're sick yet. Or or whatever. And then you're spreading around the virus. I think it's I think it's smart to do an adobe and and is not only adobe. There's a couple of other people.

"That. I think that'd be really fun. It'd kind of bring bring back yet would bring back some Some vitality to the game. I guess another reason to go back to the the the last woman that'll touch on Before I kind of get into the point why why why. I kind of unrivaled all this in the in the first place So apparently they were going to They were working on Starcraft first-person shooter But that kind of got at at put on hold because of a watch to Again recipes starcraft goes so so with with all that said it should be a pretty big bliss con swinging with with the riots big announcements announcements Yeah right it's not gonNA Doberman. They are and Ryan. I'll I'll say this side one less thing about right up riot does a damn good job for you sports. Like no one compares. No one isn't legal. Legend still like one of the number one if not the biggest goes out there Like the the showing Ford is great. That's why I'm excited for the fighting game because if right decides to make like right fist twenty twenty and it's like the fighting game with Lee Legends Tournament and Room Tara Tournament like just like a giant sports like sports event. I would go to that in a heartbeat. That's huge odd. It's going to be amazing in that. We'll it's going to be more stage. Yeah turmoil turmoil for riot riot riot. Like you'd be huge man like they do a tremendous job for all of these sports. There's so much opportunity for all of these is gains to blow up like League of legends did and already activities up there is future had such a fun game like it's all random in all like luck based but even still i. It's it's it's a fun game to watch like fritzy Bunch Kalia. Yeah yeah the first East I ever really watched Because it popped in a few times I've obviously gotten into overwatch league a a little bit But I think here's a storm was the first time I watched limited. Here's of the dorm was it was on. ESPN and I and seeing something like that on ESPN was was such a big deal but It's a trace point. I I would love to see the right key building on the sports legacy that they know that they're already running. Can't believe third dependent is so much stuff in already I'm so excited for it. Oh yeah the fighting game like it looks so clean already and it's I can i. It makes me happy that they took in such a great team team people and we're GONNA make a fighting game for this now like we're fighting game in a world that people already know of with characters that people love. Let's do this and even better. They could add things like a three three mode no problem because it's their game as their property they don't worry about any other people getting in interweave with the stuff like it's awesome. They have all these skins it can make for these people. They are printing money right now. They are printing the money that'd be glove wait so not only does WITH BLISS CON coming up not only does blizzard blizzard half to Kind of deal with the punches that riot through but they also have to work against themselves a little bit uh-huh Oh yes so For those that may not be aware. blizzards kind of in some some hot water. Right now honor yeah. It's probably been maybe two three weeks at this point or a blitz Chung one The the biggest hartsdale tournament the other grandmasters. I believe it is He won that they're doing like a post post game interview and he got on there and and and basically just voices opinions The opportunity with the platform that he had his opinion on Liberating Hong Kong Which again I'm you guys may or may not be familiar but That's kind of been a hot topic for I mean I'll quite a while It's been a topic for a very long time but it's kind of started to heat up past couple months because I won't. I won't dive to political here just to give some people some background China's basically trying to extradite people from Hong Kong to China In China isn't as that. You're looking at Communist versus a kind of a limited democracy within Hong Kong. So you've got China and you've got Hong Kong within China so it's kind of a two to system one country situation Another this is all getting confusing. So I'll try and wrap it up at Basically China wants to complete independent or sorry Hong Kong once it's complete independence kind of full democracy and everything And and their Deadly protests going on so he got on their voiced his opinion and they cut the cut quickly to an ad. The the casters like reduction under through their desks It was a it was a whole really. Oh yeah because you don't want to be associated with that like list young even said like his by saying what he did he was basically sleep in his own personal safety. Onstream are on the line From for saying that onstream so it's it's a pretty serious thing to to speak out against China China so with that. They took away all of his prize. Money and Suspended him for twelve months from competing in in blizzard. Sports which is pretty. I don't know it's pretty disgusting man like they should do like they they showed they showed showed Or they said it was in the the agreement For their tournament. I K you. Can't you can't say anything. It was part of one of those contract. Trek things like subsection. C says. You can't say anything that might be detrimental to the face. Yeah exactly but also every voice matters but also it doesn't really because we're trying to save face with China Blizzard. Has These mantras that they have for their company right like you know every voice matters. You know we're all the same when Babe family that part of it but then now that they're part of activision some of these moral the company morals of changed. They haven't put that in place. They have a giant or statue with all of these sayings like On this you know for the company like all these. These wheels for the company ends like it's been broken. It's it's terrible right and I think it's brings up a good point. I think it's important that the the developers like not at obviously not everyone that works. Blizzard made this choice or agrees with this choice because their employees that actually covered up the every voice matters matters around the statue just kind of in solidarity Because if every voice matters why are you trying to silence people or punish them for her for speaking their their opinion. Yeah especially when they I don't know I know there's a lot into it and I'm I'm not claiming to be a politics expert or anything I don't know like human rights or human rights it. It's kind of. I don't know you should have rights in that old Randall. Even like just kind of The fact that even Congress is getting involved like asc you see was like sending the like senators right sending letters to blizzard activision blizzard and basically saying like you know this isn't right. You guys need to go back on this and they So they kind of did right yellow about maybe a week and a half ago. They're like okay. We're going to give you your prize money. And we're going to cut your suspension down to six months and they wrote this They basically posted a letter kind of explaining everything and and basically kind of everything I've covered from a while. We understand that he voices opinion but according to our rules did break those And it's one one of those like every voice matters but and they were kind of taught to understand that anything that comes after the word but innocence is no kind of CBS. Like you don't you don't really mean it at that point racist but yes exactly and I don't i. I don't know if you guys were aware of this. The blizzard read. It was actually a lockdown to rail Yeah just because there are so many things in bud to to add onto that I'm just kind of remembering things as they come now but Mm Overwatch launched on the switch about a two weeks ago right okay. And they're supposed to have this big launch event at the tender store New York. I think we've been there tim. Yeah great show there. We've been place that no I knew you knew what it was. I was just reminded him Just in case you didn't know like I'm better better trade. I went with him. Don't fight I love you both. But they were supposed to have this This overwatch on switch release event right. Yeah at the store and then like the day before it was cancelled like blizzard just cancelled it and they didn't tell they they basically left. It's an Intendo to tell people and I called him out on on twitter. We're like. Hey sorry the Vince cancelled. It was cancelled by Blizzard. We don't you know it wasn't really a US. And oddly enough they are actually giving refunds funds for overwatch on switch. which they they never do right right in particular for this too because this isn't like an actual physical game you just got your download code down down occurred inside of it which is crazy loony fence on that? 'cause you know you never get refunds Especially in digital right. You're the specially so that was pretty wild definitely not a blizzard isn't really on anyone's good side right at activision activision. Blizzard isn't on anyone's good side. Right now Now I'm I'm a little worried for a few reasons reasons 'cause I canceled my wow sub. Even though I I really WanNa play the Hamas and event one of the things that I like to play but I felt that it was you know one of those things that if view you kind of have to take action on if you want your voice to be heard instead of just tweeting about it saying it You know obviously activision vision blizzards languages money. They're not going to do anything unless they see an impact that way early. That's how it feels so. I'm hoping that with you. Yeah people cancelling subs or requesting refunds. I I hope that they realized how big of a deal this is to their fans and they they come out and say something bliss. It's gone because they really other than that letter to wear they gave a blitz Chung his money and cut his suspension in half Like I don't know they. They definitely need to address it and I'm a little worried that they just won't their address. Sweep it under the rug. Yeah like hey look at all these look at all these flashing she lights in smoke and mirrors and all this stuff we have come in right. Yeah plead on. That's that's my concern for Wiscon- like yes These announcements Trevor like I canceled my while sub. it's really hard for me to Napoli Overwatch. Because it's it is a game that I do WanNa go professional freshener Coach or something but Games like I don't put money into a cult duty off seat but that just came out and that's also game. I'm John Keep up with But I can't put my while to shut up Tim. Yeah like a year ago thanks Tim. You're welcome Tom assigned even on that day that when that happened like their stocks plummeted that it down. There's a there's a steady rise because the call of duty ramp up was come in and know people are starting to hear about these leaks or something to come out and then the books Chung happened in the news is the glitter like a nosedive and sock knock. It was so bad but it's it's tough because I love blizzard. I love developers. I love the people who do their stuff. But then as as a company they are messing up so bad in so unfortunate and again just to just to reiterate love the the developers the blizzard for keep working through this and building on the excitement of bliss con trying to stay positive because these people have spent years years working on something that they're super passionate about and that has to suck to get get Getting close to the release of something. "I can't remember all of them built over Those like the four four five actions under the so. Yeah Pinto friends on our one DEMOCRACIA noxious failure. That's those once. Sorry a Jagna Jesus in the shadow out. So there's a lot one two three four five six ZIP. The six toll factions you combined like two of them together to make different decks yes. It's very similar to our sun. I think but I think it's GonNa be a little more engaging and different enough. I mean I'm excited for not arguing so I'm excited for free to play with like more opportunity to get cards than hardstone. It's going to be amazing. Your son is definitely Hard to play. If you don't buy the packs they So right also now that. I don't know anything about this trace on that you have about this. There's fighting game. Oh yes. They didn't talk much about it. It was like a it was like a thirty second. Seen right where they just like kind of like Raynham Shit Yeah yeah those near like the Zig near the middle will and I think there's another section of the Near the end where the cowards like. Yep In we've got more games coming. You're coming out of your way coming at you. This is what you look forward to in this being that that'll make no no slow down. Slow down slow. Yeah because I'm upstairs working on probably some extra life stuff and all of a sudden. I just trace screaming from from downstairs. What what you're kidding me and I still have to run downstairs and see what's going on? Yeah exciting it was good man that that's Joan sweet lab so from what I've seen so far it's like a streetfighter side-by-side fighting game two days you could say. And so far they've announced Katharina Jinx Darius Ari are in the game so far. Give me locks. It's not they're not gonNA put lungs in every damn gang. They get the hell. They can't remember anyways. I can't see you as a fighting game character grow. She will be great. But if you say I will democracy everybody okay anyway so yes it looks very those. If you don't know they bought the company who did Rising thunder was like self killings. Team Capcom and Agassi hired a bunch of other fighting bringing people to help them make this game so I'm looking forward to it. It looks pretty so far from what I've seen it looks very Like the Hitzfield good. It does a really good amount of hits done on things like so were they showed like Darius Rosario like Darius flings up like in the air down kits with the axe bring her back down and then Ari did like this like Magic Lasso. Lifted him up some so. I think it's going to be more like almost like marvel mechanics where it was like a launcher kind of button. Light medium heavy which I think would make sense for that silo game. I think I might have to take you down and freeze of use your throat out. Throw this out there. I might become a master at that game just to take you down. You're not going to be your Essiet. Live your fam- timbers trae it's not it's not gonNA respond to make this new series series. The bubby smackdown happening left. And right and you you view or you get to enjoy it you the humor giving back to you Lou. People and there were some two other projects that he believes that they announced There was project a which is the class based shooter. Game Right Looks Looks Pretty Insane. It's kind of a mix between overwatch meets. See Us go meets team fortress. You're going to be a pro on the pro player in that game. There's no okay all right RENDU. It should be my main across the whole riot. World be locked in every game possible. Tim Just GonNa Mod every game so even though she's not in every game he's going to just make she's eating the someone who's going to hear the background giant beam of laser. Hits you in the face. Trey Wilson Wilson. We'll see how it'd be more of a cooperative game those would we technically should work together on that one. Some of the ability shown so far is when people will like. There's a quick dodge which is like you can go left to right at least from what I've seen so far I don't if you can afford it backwards. Whatever Team USA lunch People over issues like a weird like wall being a grid bubble that you can keep your plan up at the gun play. I think this show in like a shotgun and assault assault rifle in some kind of sniper in some kind of ulta ability where someone has knives that float in there isn't that what's his face I don't think they have any like actual like league legends characters in this game really. I think it's a whole new world on its own. Can't think of his name the talent. That's who has a knives talent in an earlier. Both have daggers. In Oh end and Catarina yes missile and shake shake shake does. I'LL GO CHICO anyways. That and then there was their top-down Diablo esque gain that they showed that they didn't put a name to you. Did we talk about things. Like Yep. It's the thing you go says. Also come in. It looked like riot that world. It looked like it was luck and blitz crank really. Yeah I really don't play Lacson Diablo. nope yeah I think you're right. It looked like a very like lux type of character that's all carry blitz crank looking character but it looks pretty fun little. It's very. Hey Pretty I mean trey like like not just GONNA put locks in every month next game we come on. Let's look she's a cool character but she's not going. I can't see your infighting it should be and everything you say that all right anyways that's riot that's right. We'll also announce their after the show. They're innovative. Yeah that's really cool. Yeah it looks riots always had fantastic guy Like interest any other seasons. I think the Senate trailer what does that face for unknown thinking of that was like the face ace of Trailers Leno you who has good. CGI trailers that was that face. No I mean I'm I'm already just. I'm getting ahead of myself in the Senate trailer also came out the same day which sent out. If you don't know is Lucians wins wife. She was in thrashes lantern. The entire time and Lucien finally broke that lantern and she came out and she's pissed she's got a real gun she's she's a she's the first support lagrange support character. So she's like a thing of like Ana she's like she shoots her friends to heal them. Okay seems like he's kind of way Hickson. They've came out literally like a few hours ago. They showed her gameplay she looks nuts lies this and the her music is good done by crystal method. So it'd be sick almost cool but that's all I've got for right. That's the right report so back to you. I don't think I find very interesting and all that trevor going to this but this all happened like take a week or so before another really big event coming up Brian. Something tells me. It probably wasn't a coincidence that that they planned it this way. Yeah for sure So you guys may or may not know. Bliss Con- is is coming up this weekend. Starting Friday November. I I think it is yup refers So I don't know I'm they obviously can't plan when their tenth anniversary is right like like they all Wisconsin going to be a thing ten years from now. We're just gonNA fucking demolish them. We can half before Plant Trevor Yeah. Senior plan plan. It is very interesting that it's I don't know I I'm probably I'm probably reading too much into it right. Because it's it's the tenth anniversary of league regardless of Ghana's but they did come out swinging an and especially with this This team based Shooter Project Day. Yeah in the fact that a lot of people already aren't really happy with overwatch right now and to be honest blizzard as a whole So did you even even right through some and through some punches Adam during the Oh yeah well. They say they're like Oh. We know how we see. You can't stand it to care to balances and Bubba like just like small little jabs at them. And it's it's it's. I'm really excited with everything that That riot announced and I think it does put a lot of pressure on blizzard Now with that said I do think this is going to be one of of the One of the bigger bliss concept we get to give you the year it happens. Yeah the it's the way that the star is the blizzard stars align every now and then you just let's get this really big bliss So this is big for a couple reasons So this year's the twenty fifth anniversary of Warcraft which in itself itself is amazing? So that that kind of leads into warcraft. Three forged We've not heard a single damn thing. Since they announced it it lasts plans con. So we'll probably hear I mean we will hear something about it because They're schedule's been posted in. There are some panels about it. We're going to get Diablo for more than likely it'd be surprised. Delo four arcturus immortal. Never heard of her here. More about Daba Diablo immoral. Oh Yeah I'm sure I'm sure we'll hear more about that too. Can't wait for that one Overwatch to we'll probably hear about overwatch to as well. There's his We if we had more time we'd probably go into some speculation and stuff but there's if you guys are interested there's definitely some leaks out there Being more or having having a a peavey e portion talking about hero thirty two Being announced We'll save that for another time. Maybe a postal wiscon- analysis alice's then we'll probably get the next work expansion We're coming to the end of battle for as Roth and as an intro. been discussing pretty much all day long. There's already some leaks about that. So supposedly the shadowlands. But you know take it with a grain of salt all but I don't know it. It looks pretty good to me. It looks pretty real pretty pretty excited for that Not Nothing really That has been leaked for heroes but will definitely get some more heroes of the storm news. I was rumors of outages. Yeah I would love Give me here's auto chests than I will. I will be all our for sure hundred percent jump into that Harby So I'm hoping for something like that because says obviously GFD's been super successful I would love for them to add at that as a game into heroes heroes as plenty found we we. He played together I WanNa really and we always have a great time when we play. We just haven't got in Sudan Awhile. I'd love another reason to go back. Make it optimizes stream. That's all I need's the only thing I need to optimize it still wild that a but it is just so thoroughly or yeah so poor onstream It does maybe. It's something that we're doing. Where does not aware of I don't know maybe because I mean there's there's people that they do that's for it and that's why I don't know I don't know yeah and For for heart stone again. Nothing that's been been rumored or anything but normally normally we just hear about like the next expansion game changes things like that nothing. Nothing too unexpected. There they need to add Was it two headed. Giant is that what tall no no game from MPG needs to get basically essentially into into where you can play with me and you could face. Oh ooh cool. I would love love. I think that's what I asked him like. Well it's competitive like as maneuvers to other people. Yeah that'd be awesome. Yeah that's been A. That's it's a big staple of like mt G. and yu-gi-oh and stuff like that the horse it's time is time I think they tested with Different like brawls have done that with a few bras before Lynch physically was like a boss in the right the TV to thing. And I don't know.

"You like like opening up to show everyone snaps out. Regretfully so one bit just turn off camera and collaborate won't that's it for the podcast. I'm excited and so so we got wild rift and then we have. WHAT'S THE CARD game legends of lead? That's it legends of ruined hair. That's the one kindergarten to yes. I saw a gun into. I've been in one of those twenty four hour restraints were pissed yet because you actually have to watch leagues streamers to get a chance to get in get a chance right. Let's like you always have a chance of getting in not doing but watching them like increases your chance basically. That's pretty cool. I'm GonNa make sense. You know. Watch watch more more of our content. In what will give you a chance to smart sense that way. Maybe some more of the dedicated fans get in instead of someone. That's I don't know GonNa try and off a key. I don't know if it's a key system that they're doing or if they just fly your account so you connect it to your connector right games account to twitch and that's how you get it it's like a drop basically okay so watch click on something or is it just random. It's just random you just want somebody who has dropped abled for it. 'cause like I'll have it up and like not care. Yeah I mean that's what I did for duty just recently. Did that until I got like the reaper charm. I'll watch nate shot for three hours like that or had them in the background. And I got you know the reaper grape spray and the chain or the ooh charm Yeah I didn't know that color duty had drops annoyed yet. I didn't until nate shot said it so all right nature. Whatever you say? That's pretty cool. I'm glad like Games under do that will allow other layer of interaction it does I agree. so legends of route. Harra era is a card based game. I've not watched a ton of watched a little bit. It looks interesting because the way I saw it. Unlike unlike a game suchlike karston You set up essentially slabs that are characters right And if your when you end your turn a may be wrong. Correct me if you know more about this than me try like depending on where your slabs are will depend if they hit the character ahead of you or if they hit the person no okay. Maybe I'm wrong side. See I tried to watch and see what was going on. But that's what looked like. It looked like one person with a character. We're here someone with a character here with character here and then they do something these to attack and then this one have you choose which you attack and defend with you do get achieves okay Of course in just like our stone if you get like the like the name characters like the name like like the champion cards like those roles opposite the guards to go for. But they're based off of the different factions terra so there's like the glacial which actually the the proper names for him Zahed.

"Hey everyone welcome back to cast. This is episodes sixty seven and it has been a a pretty exciting weekend As you guys may be aware there were two huge launches of two thousand nineteen this past Friday with call of Duty Modern Warfare Dan outer world so we definitely had our hands full with that clowns. That all right I Know Youtube in plain more call of duty of I've Been Kinda deep into outer worlds but you both have dived into both I'm excited to see what you guys have to say about both of them. Because I you know similar probably heavy Like an into impression coming up for that Beyond the to the the bigger releases of twenty nine thousand nine whilst been planning extra life which is this coming weekend? So we've been we've been busy as usual But we're also a little a a little behind on some Some pretty big news in the the gaming world about a week and a half ago riot league of legends for those does that might not be aware had a had they're celebrating their tenth anniversary right And they had a pretty exciting stream about a week and a half ago with some pretty big reveals I know both of you have been big into kind of getting back into league and TFT A little bit So this a little bit Maybe a little more Sofer for ten Maybe maybe we'll step back a little bit now that it call a duties out but with with this we got not just league of Legends News but we got Like as it exists today but we also got additional Kind of what. The future holds for riot. You guys kind of want to since you guys are Within the realm of League of legends. You kind of want to kick things off trade him. That's right people. They are called officially now. Right Games. plural not just right game or just right rides with an site. Yeah it's pretty it's pretty Pretty good return illegal like every game. I've played so far. Has It's been really fun. Has I have had no toxicity other than like between us. 'cause it's fun Actually pretty surprising. Usually like you get into a game. It's like just gross. All right off the Bat But it's been pretty good. It's been really fun like playing with friends and like even playing on my own like I'll I'll jump in like last night on the night before four hours from late night games and immediate back. Hey guys like his mother playing this character you know just a heads up on. Let's find you the quickness for just NFL. Learn with a question like what what game is this is. This is this test round. Like what's Atoll Fan. Actually Great Plain League was the toxicity that wound up plaguing for me and I used to play. Hardcore like League was my game. I literally played lately for two years straight. I ditched all my xbox friends got really souped up lap type for laptop for the time and I did nothing play League of legends for two straight years years and got to the point to where even among our friends we were just being super toxic. Like there's friendly toxicity right. which is what we as adults have grown to become do and we laugh about it it? Is You know eighteen year old nineteen year old town like your son of edged kind of thing so It's it's good to know that it sounds like it's gotten better and I've enjoyed my games. I've played like the view. Played last. Wednesday was fantastic. Yeah Dude that was fun as a can pick different roles fun kind of different stuff and I. I've started getting into legal agents again when I have. I'm going to pick a different camera. Agra never played before I'm GonNa Unlock different character that I had interested in but I never got around the doing and I'm like I had this like huge Rosser even bigger Australia characters that I can play now and suspend like it's eye-opening man. Evelyn character looks laying on like a millionaire tried around. I was like this characteristic. Actually I enjoy his character In adjustable I can't remember yeah. She's young she's stealth right about that. Yeah she really needed at six. Yeah she's she's Via Dude while it's back to the topic we were supposed to be talking about your call the news from Right Games. They're celebrating the ten year anniversary so during this week in week before right. They're doing they're like you get a prize every day for doing match my game which was pretty cool right. It's all got and I've got like a legendary skin character There's a bone one today. character skin Anna character blue runes. All kinds of shit. Like you've got all kinds of stuff to scrape friend Trey them play League of legends. It gets his clue. It's the walk in its innovative log. In Cleveland Call of duty. Okay anyways but they do that and it's really nice. You get like a nice like kind of catch me up sort of thing you get a Lotta. It's free to play the game. You don't have to pay for anything which is awesome and then of course you know. DFT The day they finally announced the the preseason begins very very soon the update and It's IT'S GONNA be interesting rises elements to call the same thing with the rift. Update is called Raza the elements Where they're adding in new characters? They're changing current ones with different skins. which I thought was really cool? So let's say work for instance right now. He's like a wild brawler her but for as the element is going to be Predator in winter. Lay Shaw Glacial. The Glacier glaciation Predator and he has his like Ice Ice Fang. Thank skinner whatever. That's sweet yeah it. Is it really really cool that Islam. Same thing with who was it was a storm. Breakers said that skin The storm in Predator. So yeah. It's really cool on being locks talks aspect of this game. Apparently because she has like every born ever use her elemental skin says this is the elemental whole patch. Whatever So she has her own. I guess you could call it a mythic rarity. She's like a seven cost or something expensive. Yeah I would say it's like a mythic rarity or rainbow is it's like it. Goes you know common uncommon rare. An Anad Abid at big legendary dairy and this was like mythic. I WANNA call out rattles method. I think that's right Rainbow Rainbow. I don't know I really don't know. And then like I think there's Kiana Kinda China has around to route. Character Kiana reaps. GotTa here thank you so much characters breathtaking anyways. They're doing all that and there're you're so they pretty much take their the current set of characters though changing some removing some input to put a new characters and they're changing all of the typing the origins of each character tall brand new Set Til I kinda based around the elements and make it Taylor for some people but it looks. I'm excited looks great Also it's coming to mobile. Yeah Yeah Yep come into mobile. I mean that's that's great. Yeah Emily really for Mobile It's GonNa be huge because it's going to be a cross plan you can literally anywhere isn't saying at all times And then also the rise of the elements part of it with the legends ally. The rift the regular rift changing a whole lot of stuff so any each dragon. Can you get changes. The changes the map in someone's like fire. You kill a red buff man and like it'll explode the area that he's in in will create new. Pathways you can go through. I'll set of the air drag. It creates like air currents through the jungle. So it's like a lot faster third go through or you. Can you know ozzy go upstream. And it's slow slow down. I felt the earth. Does I think creates barriers ears in some spots and then water heels in the river. I think I don't know off look into it more but it looks. I'm excited for her book. UPDATES to that plane trips were about to be lit with. Oh Yeah T- on the plane Wi fi is one hundred percent worth it everything every every time and of course they announced I guess ten if you WanNa talk about it since you're more of the mobile guy which one oh yes So Kenny Kenny. got into that any that was the medium him. You're not so I've looked into a little bit of essentially they're brain Li legends to mobile and like the actual will the actual and consulates are actually bringing the actual legal legends game to mobile and console. But it's like a once they slim down version because not so much. Slimmed slimmed down version. But I mean at the same time it kind of is right so there are some elements to it. That are that that that they have to set the change to mate controller friendly or to make it mobile friendly and is essentially what it's GonNa wind up being so it's still it's still. The same game still summers rift. It's like it's still ripped it's still five eighty five But I'm not sure I don't think I think the map is scaled down a little bit. I don't think it's an and maybe I could be wrong here. What I was reading coming up on it And the the elements are saying but one of the one of the big things I noticed I noticed this in the trail and trae. I don't know if you caught this I think it was who was it it was some? Somebody was all team right I. I remember watching. Somebody's malting and it always ash with ashes. Ashes Arrow nashes arrow locked locked onto. Somebody did not catch that Because I noticed because it curved in and curved into somebody now so oh and I don't know if it's GonNa be a really weird like I don't know what kind of adjustment that is. I don't know I don't know why I mean. Yeah but just kind of as a formal heads up like that is definitely something that I caught watching the video and seeing things like gameplay elements like that seemed like they might have a the difference to them because however this this what is it called again while drift wild drift. Because it's not summers rift. It's wild rift so it's the same but different so it's made l'egalite yeah. I mean it's a good way to put it. Yeah League easily noted Datura. Don't even call it that I mean it's going to be pretty intense. I'm excited don't get me wrong. In fact I completely legend on my xbox is gonNA be fantastic Curious Cross play today said that it's going to be there. That'd be great between the fact that on your phone tim like all these mobile games that they've announced La like whether it's DFT or Samsung talking to drift. They were ahead. Write the riot gave them a heads up. You guys need to get on this like now right now Any any mobile games on your phone are are GonNa be so good man. They're so good. I've had extremely experienced as you. You don't know Tim has the galaxy. Fold yell at Super Dumb expensive all the errands like it's too expensive to buy while I'm stupid. I spend my money on gum things. Let me tell you. This is not a purchase. I am regretted at all and has been phenomenal. I just imagined pageant..

"We finally have some gaming news and it's the title I messed up on a way back when while yours your first look at league of legends. Moi Decatur, and I did again, more Decatur rework now. It's been on the cards for a while now while champion producer rive in Mireles announced, now that the master of metal would be getting a new look earlier this year, he's needed a change for significantly longer than many of, you know, I think he did do an earlier tack. I swear Hughes rework not too long ago. While we now have a better idea of what form that will take any post earlier today. The developer gave us our first look at the champions, new abilities while significant chunks of his kit are pretty standard there undergoing some major changes, either his w nor his e will remain the same after the update the most notable change. However, is to his alternate ability, while Mordecai, there has been in the past able to conjure ghostly version of the champions are dragons that he. He helps to kill that set to change Mordecai's new ultimate realm of death is the solo Lanier's dream, letting him take on a champion of his Tuesday in one on one battle to death while but further ado, let's take a look at those new abilities now is passive is called darkness rise mortifies, basic attacks deal. Bonus magic damage after three attacks against the champion darkness rises deals damage to nearby enemies in gives movement speed until more. Kaiser is out of combat his Cuba's called obliterate Mordechai slams down his Mace dealing damage in an area or bonus damage to a single enemy is w is indestructible the evil overlord absorbs twenty five percent of damage taking in damage dealt casting once generates a shield with this value. Mortifies can cast again to consume fifty percent of the shield for health is e is now called death grass. It's a passive where he gained twenty five percent. Magic. Penetration. I guarantee you that was going to be changed in passionate Donald, but if it's active a deadly claw Drake's enemies towards him dealing damage now. What about his new alternate are well, Rahm of death. Mordechai banishes, a single enemy champion to the death realm for a seven second, one v one ceiling eight percent of their core stats if he kills his target, he consumes, their soul keeping their partial stats until they respond now to be honest relocate with that, while the Q N W particular, pretty much the same but desk, grap desk, grasped should help offer some much needed crowd control. Now. What the heck kind of ultimate exists borrows pretty heavily from the yu-gi-oh animated series shadow round, but well gloss over that in favor of the seven second one v one net. Mortifies challenges his enemies to interesting to see how that plays out. It's really anybody's guess, but it will certainly be fun to seed in action as for one you'll be taking your own trip to the death realm kind of uncertain right now. But it's very possible. We could be getting our first look in the lead up to patch nine point one to so keep your eyes on the PB next week. So who seven second one one against Moore to Kaiser? All my goodness. Does that mean I can play Garin I can queue silence smash with alternate with sword raining down from above going up to the rings. Why won't get any stats from that? Bubby. Pretty awesome one v one. Nobody also see or will they see it. But they won't be able to do anything about it, because we'll be immune to interacting with them until seven seconds are up. Interesting rework the to be sure of. Play I'm Madeline brand more than two hundred employees the video game company, right games. Walked out of work yesterday. In protest, riot games here in Santa Monica, and the employees are protesting the company's handling of cases of sexual harassment and discrimination. And this comes after a series of legal issues for that company last year right faced a class action lawsuit, which accused the company of gender-based discrimination, and of fostering, a sexist workplace that lawsuit was dismissed since then riot has tried to make some changes, for example, in allows employees to opt out of force arbitration. But that does not extend to current employees. Only new ones here to talk about this is right games worker. Jocelyn Monaghan one of the organizers of the walkout yesterday high. Hello. So I understand two hundred and more workers decided to walk off the job, including a bunch of men Reese by that. No, I think that issue of harassment discrimination. Go beyond women, obviously, three organizers who stood up world women, but we had a lot of support from, you know, people who have suffered racial discrimination or people who have suffered discrimination because of their sexuality, and that's not limited to women, and when you say discrimination, are you talking about pay differences. Yeah. I mean, it can be paid for it can just being treated differently or talk to strangely being you know, promoted or not promoted just kind of uneven treatment of anytime. Well, how would you describe the overall culture at riot games? Place. It has a an almost magical feel to it. It's one of those cases where they really want you to feel like a family a community. And in a lot of ways we do. But I think that there's kind of an insidious thing at the middle of that. That's like, okay. Like when you're part of this culture, you have to accept certain values, and they might not be values that you agree with. But in order to enjoy like, the magical fun parts of this. You have to just kind of tolerate those. And I think what's happening now since last year is people are saying, hey, like, we love the parts of riot where we can all get together. Be super smart make super cold things. We love the parts where we make really cool things for our players. And we believe in what we do. But we don't want to tolerate those parts anymore that come out of this like, bro culture is what a lot of people are calling. It. And I think that that this is kind of a big shift. Yeah. So you want an end to force arbitration, correct? Yes. And so they've ended it for new employees. Why didn't they extend that to existing employees? So I can't speak for their reasoning. The reasoning that they gave in the article that they published is because they're in active, litigation and they've committed to commit to a position after active litigation is over for current employees. Okay. And so what else are you demanding? So this current action is just around four Serb attrition. The walkout was targeted specifically at that. And we were asking for an end to star betray Shen for past current and future, employee's, not an often clause just an end to it entirely. We also want to include contractors, and we want to see the use of it in current litigation ended, and this would specifically apply to sexual harassment and discrimination. Discrimination. And do you have people there who claim that they were sexually harassed? Yeah. I mean, I can't talk about this cases. But if you look at the lawsuits that were filed which are publicly available a number of them are by Karenin employees against current please. And they include sexual harassment. So this other lawsuit as I mentioned in the intro was dismissed this class action lawsuit, which brought up many of these issues. Why was dismissed? I actually don't know about any lawsuits being dismissed, I know, a lawsuit that was meant to open a class is currently I think in mediation, but I don't know about any loss that was dismissed if that happened. I don't know about it. And are you worried at all by walking off the job by speaking out by taking this kind of public stance? Are you worried at all that there will be some repercussions for you, professionally at the company? Yeah. I mean riots official stance is that no one's going to be punished for it. A so I think they'll probably stick to that. But for me coming out as an organizer, especially I had a lot of I had a lot of full searching to do this weekend deciding if I was willing to stand up to do that. And it came down to it's the right thing to do. I don't know what the implications will be for my career here. I feel pretty supported. But if I ever want to get a job at another games company. Anyone can just Google me. Right. I don't know what that will look like. But at the end of the day standing up for this is the right thing to do. And if that implodes my career than okay, the general video game company industry is it pretty male dominated. Yeah. It is. Okay. So do that as part of the problem? Yeah. I mean, the deal is that the reason that four-star patrician kind of sparked this powder keg is because stuff it riot has the bad for a while and stuff in games has been bad for a while, especially for women, especially for minorities that came to light with the article last year, there's been a lot of tension around here since done, and I think that we're at the beginning of a really big shift, but historically low like it's a larger issue, right? And so there's obviously been gamer gate and all of that trolling online, really horrible harassment. Online, are you experiencing any of that. So I have been keeping an eye on conversation about myself because frankly that scares me more than any kind of professional retaliation. And the only thing I've been able to find so far no one is doing harassing me. But in one of the places where those folks hang out they were making fun of my job title, saying it sounds made up which is there, which is a socialist strategists. That's your job title. Yes. So nothing worse than not so far. What what is that by the way? Is your job? So what I do it is. I collect. So so it, right. We're really invested and listening to players who play our games. So I work with teams, and I go online, and I collect like thousands or hundreds of thousands of posts that players are saying about our stuff. And then we go through that data, and we get this player feedback at scale, and we help make decisions based on what people are saying. So you would know instantly with people are saying about you and about this action. Yeah. In theory. All right, Jocelyn, Monaghan, social listening strategist at Reich games, one of the organizers of the walkout there. Thank you so much for joining us. Thank you..
