"Winner he sang his song lord I need you at world youth day in Rio de Janeiro Brazil for pope Francis and three or four million people do yourself a favor and check that out on YouTube search for Matt Maher world youth day two thousand thirteen that will move you I'm telling you but do that later because right now we're gonna talk with math welcome to the show map Hey Chris thanks for having me thanks your new album alive and breathing launched in February what's been the reaction to that and has the title cut with the hook if you're still alive and breathing praise the lord has become common unofficial anthem for this pandemic for anyone that's heard I think the song is really ministered term during this time it feels very strange to have written a song a year ago with that line and then and then he your later have it so re contextualized I you know I wrote the song is a bit of an anthem for me just coming out of a hello a long couple of years my father passed away I think I'm still grieving his loss we we have moved out of our house because we were renovating it we ended up having to knock down ninety percent of it and there was kind of a time where I remember I I I was staring at the shell of what my house was and everything into things I should probably be filming that's for a reality TV show which ship enjoying gains then this thing was this feels like an allegory a lot of a lot of my life right now built like god was just sort of kind of taking things down to the studs if you will but sometimes that's what needs to happen in order for you to kind of things to be rebuilt stronger you know there are there are structural problems with the house so we never knew about there was there were fires that were never reported him so I we've I kind of was looking at my life is sort of being this thing work I was just doing a lot of interior work and so that song became you know just kind of an anthem for me a friend of mine said this way said sometimes in life you find yourself in a hole and you got to sing your way out fast forward a year later the album is finally out it's a hybrid album of songs that we recorded on the road and new material and yeah I mean I think the song is sort of a it's a reminder to people that praise the Hebrew word for praise has seven different definitions and everyone fits a different context of the human condition so price is not something that just happens on the mountain top when life is great and it's not a form of distraction or way around our problems it's the way through so yeah I think I think the songs been received well yeah I know that there are people who are dealing with cancer and and surviving cancer also have seen that as kind of any of them I saw a clip of you with somebody in a radio station who had kind of this is become her personal anthems like it is for you do you find that that then touch your heart to know that that is really getting to other people the same way I absolutely you know I mean I'm a I'm a have see survivor I have C. for twenty seven years and got cured and twenty twenty fifteen so the idea of having any sort of chronic health condition and have it sort of the shadow of it loom over you I just understand what that feels like a very human level and like on a psychological level on a spiritual level and also the the the opportunity I think because of the redemptive work of Jesus this sounds weird to say but the gift that I can still be you know god is working all things together for good so even something like disease even this pandemic there are so many stories and on the road continue to be that even in the midst of so much tragedy and difficulty that god is god is about a money work for good and you know you have to you have to draw a line in the sand sort of bake those kinds of choices you get you know you have to look at this and you know my sister in law and my brother's wife she had stage four breast cancer nine nine at ten years ago and so there are these moments we have to look at this you have to you have to make a decision is gone is god using this somehow still for my what will be that and I think that's where you know that's what I hope is a is a theological virtues and a very important one yes one of the songs on alive and breeding is white flag that was one of the ones that was recorded live like to talk about and you talk about surrendering to the lord that's your white flag there I remember a few years ago we see in the movie Bruce almighty and Bruce who is you know kind of playing god at this point is realizes he's not in charge and and there's this great scene where he just opens up me says god I surrender to you and I was amazed to see that in a in a basically a Hollywood comedy movie but because it was such a profound statement do you find that surrender to be difficult to render to god yes yes extreme money yeah I'm I feel I feel like an actor sometimes in a movie where it's like you do the same and they're like cut cut okay do it again yeah we didn't quite get it right something wrong with the lighting or you're just your performance with little flat and sometimes I feel like that's what that's what the daily surrender Christian thank god right and you'll get it right yeah you know it's like we're stuck in groundhog day so I you know I think yeah I the reality of of how surrender become so clearly defined and specific moments in instances in our life and I almost feel like you have the memory of those two to give you encouragement to keep going but then they also sort of stand I think as a testimony to your own hypocrisy or your humanity when you find yourself just amassed in failure and they sort of stand there and and you're kind of stern I'm gonna well I I guess I didn't mean it but I think I think what you do is you sort of are are the fact that you're like I meant it then and that's all I had all I had was the moment of now and so in this now I surrender and that's why surrender needs to be daily because my surrender in the past I'm not Christ so my sacrifices don't cover for all of eternity good point you know I mean they they are temporal and so you know they need to be daily yeah yeah and I think we find the same thing trusting in divine Providence is a really hard thing to do where is the inspiration for your songs come from and how much does scripture play into your compositions you know I'd say they come from the a life of face ID that is rooted in the in the liturgical and sacramental reality of the church that that's who I am that's that's where I found myself the most was and specifically you know after being in shares ministry to Paris for thirteen years sort of being in Maston and community and everything that comes the community because it's not perfect so I would say that now that over time stepping as a single adult into vocation of marriage and now three kids and trying to live that out raise my kids in the the beauty and tradition of the faith having to explain things to them eight having to you know give grace to my wife and her to me that that sort of daily crucible of family I feel like now is sort of the it's the it's the fallow ground that stuff doesn't grow and then you got to kind of tell the soil and then stuff starts growing again and that's where a lot of song ideas I think come from is being being in right relationship and putting those first you know and then I studied music for nine years in college or something so that all their theory down all that ground works there and it's all in there and and you know you do need to practice but that part not not not nearly as important to my creativity or my sanity or my just my health and well being is a spiritual life so you know that's that's just weird that's how songs you know songs come when I'm sort of focused on the when the main thing the.

"Player America has produced. He started playing on the US national team when he was just sixteen, and he played in five Olympics helping the United States win a silver medal in two thousand eight. He won the Peter J Katina award as the best. American player four times. He played for Stanford and he helped them win two national. National Championships and his coach called him the Michael Jordan of Water Polo, but after twenty seven years he has decided to retire and Tony when I saw the announcement about you retiring, deciding to retire for any athlete is a hard decision, especially for those like you reach such a high level of success. Tell me a little bit about the thought process. You went through and reaching your decision to retire. Thank you me on I think. For me, it's always been about. I play the game because I love the game and. You know throughout my career. People have always asked me. How do you do at eight nine hours? You know obviously the salaries. Water players aren't that much, so it's not like we're actually making money. It's a lot of sacrifice. But it was my passion. It was the number one thing on my life. It was what I wanted to do. I want to bring the first gold medal back to the states. But. You know I had two kids. and. I think all the sudden in in our sport. In order to be successful, you need to play professionally over in your or outside of the United. States, because we don't have personally. So basically after the Olympics, my fifth Olympic came to a point where I was either going to have to sacrifice the next four years. Living with my kids in a little apartment or from parts apartment all over the world. And leaving Alzheimer's the train with the team. Or I was GONNA. Come home and focus on what I truly believe in which is making this sport. Bigger here in the United States and that was that was the thought process you were born in Rio de Janeiro Brazil and your family moved to California, when you were just an infant, but there was an incident in your life early on where you suffered a fall that severed your trachea and Asaf guests, and although your heart stopped beating on the operating table for a period of four minutes before doctors were able to revive you. You made a complete recovery and went on Excel in water polo did that carryover, and and what type of perspective have you put that incident into your mind? Well, you know I was four years old so i. don't remember much. My mom would always tell me that A lady and I said that lady in a white dress would come or came and told me to go home. and. I know at that. Time I I. Lost Feeling in my right arm I I forgot how to use my right arm because I kept moving so much in the I v.'s. I would rip them out. So I ended up losing. You know I had to relearn how to use my right arm. And What I really take from that is how powerful the mind is you know and how? I could make myself. You? Know forget how to use my dominant arm. And how to rethink and relearn everything because I knew going to help me get better and I also I also think about a lot when I when I when I feel how lucky I am, you know a lot of times. You take for granted what you do and the ability to represent my country for millions and millions of people. I would want them knowing that I'm doing everything possible. To bring that medal and those are the kind of things that inspire me you know. Your Dad was a water polo player for the Brazilian national team, and I know he coached to when you were in high school down at Long Beach. That's always had soared. Isn't it Tony Playing for your dad? In a sense, it'll be a little bit about that dynamic. Yeah you know it's My. What.

"We'll leaders that suddenly fighting the urge. They have to go to Antarctica. I remember that. No No, no, it is John J. Just we woke up one day and oh, he's. Very. Well actually I wou JE. It was John Kerry. That went Buzz Aldrin went to Antarctica. the the Russian Orthodox. No no, the Russian Orthodox. head of the Russian Orthodox Church went. Don't believe the pope went, but the head of the Russian Orthodox Church went barack. Obama even went even though it wasn't scheduled. Barack Obama was there. You. Like. Well he went, he went to Patagonia actually was in Batu. Goania Argentina was visiting there and at the same time. What's that? which is also very interesting. I know your phone's breaking up. What did you say? I. I find that interesting that Obama listen. At that time. He was in Argentina and Patagonia, but I think it was because he was trying to inspect the the the new station there. We're going to be putting up there, so they could use it to use it for communication. Guess on the Far Side of the moon and the Chinese now have have their hands on it, so the Chinese are using it for communications power. Right. I find interesting about this subject and you know. There's been rumors that the keys face have some old excite. Analytic time the closest. Obviously, the closed this land mass to. The tip, of Argentina. Correct and so recently there's a if you've probably a little Atlantic. Anomaly addresses. Talk about this South Atlantic Anomaly. It's been apparently weakening now, and and the and the thing is that it's weakening and satellites apparently are not working properly. And you know they said you know where it's weakest. South Atlantic anomalies weakest. Rio De Janeiro Brazil I noticed that I noticed that on that often the research I would say that it was really leak as point there, which is very interesting, so. Through the years you'll take pieces of information and and they start coming together like. Yeah and that's exactly what's going on now I mean this is different pieces of the puzzle and we're getting a better picture, actually getting a better picture. Sudden, it's like. Oh Yeah. I agree with you, I it's it's. It's just bizarre the way it's all company getting, thank you. Thank you for the call it is. It's bizarre the way it's all coming together. She's right the South Atlantic Anomaly. Which of course we've talked about before the Gulf of Aden. of course that area there was a Yes, time differential strange time because the magnetic field is weakening their. It's now moved. And the further weakening of the magnetic field is happening over Rio de Janeiro Brazil or South America in Rio de Janeiro Brazil right now is seeing the most weakest. It's ever seen in the magnetic field. So this means things can happen. Things can get through when we're dealing with these neutrinos in Antarctica. That are showing signs of parallel universe, or even possibly an opening up of a wormhole. It's it. These are stories that you can't ignore me. They just say well. It's a some science story, but I would think about the possibility. What's going on here? Things entering into? Our dimension from Antarctica. The fact that we're seeing UFO activity over Argentina and Brazil. All of these things happening. In an area where the magnetic field is the weakest in satellites and other space objects. Grizzly tumble out of the sky. Reports all over the country of things exploding and falling out of you know from space were not in the middle of the Meteo sharp people just not. Spokane of course in the news because of last night, a huge fireball spokane. Turning the nighttime day happening at midnight a huge explosion, they're saying well. It could have been space degree. It could have been a piece of a comet. They don't know for sure Lisa in Washington. You're on Ground Zero. Oh. Hey, so I just wanted to talk about There's been three incidents over the last two weeks. I guess I'll start with last night. yeah, I heard this to me. It sounded more like because I've heard sonic booms. It sounded more like trains you know when they kind of taken off or slowing down, and they kinda boom boom boom crash into each other, and then so I went outside, and it was just this green glow where you located in Washington Spokane. Spokane. Going on what how many days have we been seeing? anomalies in the sky, exploding or moving through making noises like trains going overhead. So, it's been about the last two weeks. And, so then the previous incident is my brother. He's a real skeptical. He's down to earth and he doesn't. Even really knows the terminology of this stuff and He said he heard my horses kind of freaking out, and so he came out. You know out where my own is and he saw this. Orange, Ball he said, but I guess he would say it's an orb or something, but it was coming out of the ground underneath one of the trees, and it came up about two feet off the ground and it got. Bigger bigger and smaller smaller, and he said it kind of twinkling and And that was strange, and then the other incident, which was about a week, and a half ago I and I didn't know what he'd even seen. I, when I went out in the morning, and my horses were all terrified was hiding in the barn. One was one. You know they're kind kinda like out on the outskirts and I went out, and one of my hoses had these young like a slice is at skin about five inches long straight lines, and one along its main bleeding and and I telling him that was so weird. My oceans were so scared this morning. I wonder what happened. He said well last night. I went out there and I saw these three orange round kind of ball. Know I guess I would say. For about twenty feet off the ground, and they were getting bigger and smaller and bigger and smaller, and they would disappear pop back in disappear pop back in. And Yeah. Just it's strange. Well, you have the spokane area certainly is seeing its share of strange lights in the sky, but the last night was the big one. Big Explosion. Did you catch that one last night midnight? YEA, that's that's the thing that I heard that. And I thought well. Maybe the you know it sound kind of like a train, but it was louder and that's when I went outside, and it was a cloudy rainy night, so sky was dark. And but it was. You know thinking. You know there's not a screen on the. Very. Ren-. Yeah I was green flash had everybody scared. spooked. Heard about that, so you mentioned that I didn't even know anything that had been reported in spokane. So that's it's just real strange. It is in in fact. I was looking at camera with the newspaper. Was I was looking at, but apparently was a local newspaper actually. Websites spokesman I don't know can't spokesman you've heard of it. It's covers watching Idaho. Spokesman, review. And they have the pictures of what happened was a security cam caught it. It looks like the sun is in the sky. There are clouds, because of course you know the weather there is always rainy at this time of year clouds in the sky, but it's a bluish green explosion that happened over spokane, and it happened around midnight last night. RIGHT FLASH OF LIGHT SPOKANE's security cameras picked it up. They don't know what it was because we're not in the middle of any meteor shower of course. They were planning on this thing. And somebody said well could be swift. It could be from the swift tuttle comet, or what have you? But I don't know, but we you know we can't rule out space junk. We can't rule out other things, but still with these UFO's strange reports of neutrinos coming up from the planet, Artika ufo sightings in in the southern parts of you know of course Brazil, and Argentina and all the other things that are happening. It makes you just stop and think for a moment. What is really going on out in space? What is happening.

"Monday was Memorial Day and Tuesday you went to school right in that Friday. There was a game. That means the football players were already like camping from, like August. I showed up in September of last year. And I said, come on, let's start off great season. I think we're, we're at orange Lutheran or high school in San Juan Capistrano, and they're like, man, we're like two and one three zero or whatever we're like what the season starts literally like an early I some of the schools have just toward the start a little bit early. And then the last game was like an October, like Halloween. Yeah. So remember the varsity will continue because they have their plows. But like freshman and sophomore, the oh, wait a minute. Logan. Logan's actually on varsity now. So never mind. So now that can be an extended season especially if he gets to the mile. Yeah, your, your school wasn't a football powerhouse. Although I will say this goes, I don't think you know this. But the years that I went saddleback one, a CF title, the went to mater, dei. Yeah. Maybe to a lot of those players came from the Santa Santana mighty mite Redskins. In fact, Santa high school also wanna see I title meeting street, so a lot of those kids, just went to different schools, and, and they had like they had a good run. We should ask Gilbert about that. Because he's gone back to Santa college a lot. They worship them. They're Santa college high school. Sorry. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. We will. He'll be on, you know, later on in the show. But anyhow, it was fun doing a little memory lane with the guys there. What with Woody, he's the one that actually kept the conversation going with me? All right. So did you hear my Jessica Andrews? Yeah. I'm point. So two days ago, she poses in the nude wither championship belt. She defeated rose NAMA if weeks ago and you know, she's just living it up, which champion should do, and she had a provocative picture of her wearing the belt, the, the proper areas were covered up and everything. But, you know, it got tweeted, and re tweeted, and that's fine man. She's just living it up. That's fine. And so when I saw her name again on the front page junkie. I was like, what you do now. The POS or what she got held up and gunpoint in Rio de Janeiro Brazil her and her fiance, or wife. Yeah. Yeah. And so let me tell you something. I've been to real many times, and there's an area called Nita ROY which is you cross a bridge, and it's kinda like peninsula. I guess a little bit. And so it's not far from Rio de Janeiro at all your where you're talking like thirty minutes. Niteroi is pretty nice to Roy's pretty neat. Actually, that's Ricardo Ronas is from. And but apparently she was driving, and they were in the car and couple guys came up with the guns and took the car. Took the wallet took some credit cards. They took her passport. She was was coming to the United States tones in a few weeks and say what I say they took the phones the phones as well. And so, luckily, nobody was hurt her and her wife are fine. They're all good. I'm sure they're shaking up. Although who knows with fighters. I mean a gun a whole different animal. But you know what I mean like they fighters. "In sunrise, Florida. Now, you'll Romero did go on area who wanna show and. Hinted that cost removable had to do with you Sada. He then wound up walking back. That's nothing that's been confirmed. So that's good to hear. Although. I would still like to hear something. One way. We'll know that you know, what the setback might be is just to have cost the revoked on another fight card now shoot face who was in Tucson does this corner shoe face is Antonio Carlos junior. He was calling out Paulo Kosta. He wants to fight him one month later, actually, it's like just weeks later in Rio de Janeiro Brazil at UC thirty seven and I'd love to see that. But I really wanted to see cost of Ursus Romero goes not that I don't wanna see Romero versus Sousa, but I really wanted to see Romero versus cost 'cause fresh matchup, and it would tell us just how good cost the is. If he can get past you'll Romero, and if you'll American get passed in a while, and guess what we have to entertain the fact that Romero could fight for another world title at some point before his career is over. And remember he's in now us now in his forties. So there may not be too many of these opportunities and all those Sousa boy that guy can't catch a break. He lost that key fight to Kelvin Gasol. That's the one that hurt him the most because otherwise he'd be fighting for world title. Now speaks a little bit of English. He's really round rounded out his game. But because Israel at a son you had an incredible year. And Kelvin Gasol has not had his title shot. Any owns that win over all those Sousa? And all is just basically standing there waiting. He's got to wait for the income 'bout to take place. And then the winner of that fights the undisputed. So I guess he didn't wanna sit on the sidelines figures. Let me get this Romero fightback that oath. Remember everyone scariest fellows, one confide definitely. But going back the cost. I mean, one of the most detrimental things to your career that can happen is to get that violation right in some people. You could say it affects their legacy. No matter what they do. They just can't bounce back from something like that. So I would imagine if I'm a fighter in that. Rumor gets thrown out if it ain't true. The first thing I'm doing is letting everybody know it ain't truth will out Apollo Kosta. Nothing came out of it. But his manager did respond to the violation remers. This is from while leaders mill former N H B fighter enemy while he'd Israel. He said, quote, he didn't. Test positive for anything. That's it for now and quote. "We really don't get a whole lot of you know, you see action, but we have you know, Chicago right down the street. So that's in June or something like that. So, you know, with the way John Jones is talking wanting to fight four times this year. And my question, do you guys think that that would be the one for Seattle Santos versus John Jones? And now that you're talking about it. I think who's been and comington movie. Oh, fantastic. Addition to that card. You know, Congo's he's market a lot of money over there. Something a good idea to me and then over guys saying in July Korea and proc on my God. And then call me a and and cowboy or you know convoy and and Connor antastic idea. That sounds great. Go ahead. Okay. All right. So the perfect one here. Here's a few fight cards. Our announced over the weekend. They're going to Rochester on may eighteenth. That's were John Jones's from. He's from that area. Except is just an ESPN plus card it's called the PM plus nine so that would have been perfect for John Jones. But again, it's not even big ESPN and John Jones is just so if you're asking me to make sense out of it, you've see to thirty seven seems to be pretty much filling up, and I think you got your your main event of NAMA unison, Josh, and you co main with Aldo vs woken off ski and everything else after that is just knows all right UC to thirty eight on June eight that the United Center. I think that could be John Jones. I think it also be so who'd over dillashaw, but I I think it could be Jones if he wants it because who's Mons the one walking around with a boop. He's walking around with a boot before the fight his walking around with one after the fight. Whereas I didn't see John Jones having any problems walking and John Jones, the one that says I want to be busy five four times this year. So June eighth kind of puts them on you know, that type of trajectory if we can't December twenty nine technically as a two thousand nineteen right depends on you interpreted if you really want the fourth fight, then technically June as would only be a second. But again, it's just just how you count decide between nine of two thousand eighteen I would put lose Mon and Colby if I had to bet I'd say John Jones and the AGA Santus in Chicago on June eighth. Along with maybe pseudo and dillashaw because I think for me and lesser can sell on their own. They don't need the other title fight. And that's the one that would headline UC to thirty nine on July six and then in August, they'll go somewhere, I don't know air. Sometimes it's the Honda center Anaheim, but they'll go somewhere, and I think that won't be like a news Mon and Covington doubt. Now, you giving additional two months to recover and be ready to go. So I hope that helps there with that little mini online. I think so who don't dealers are both walking around ready to go as well. And that's why see them maybe doubling up with Jones and Santos, Chicago doesn't Detroit. Get more love. Got the brand new awesome. Fight in December of two thousand seventeen that's gone lit up over him. That's where Suhud OB Pettus. That's where those weird, right? He had an injury though, something happened. You know, what else was a great fight on that card all Lavera versus. Cowboy lavar versus Yancy Medeiros on awesome fight. In that was December of two thousand seventeen why they haven't gone back. I don't know. But Seattle Florida you're going to Wichita Saturday the following week there in London the week after that they're in Nashville the week after that they're in Philadelphia. I mean March is just stacked then one week off April thirteenth Atlanta, Georgia UC to thirty six with Holloway and on insomnia versus Gasol. One week later. They're in Saint Petersburg Russia. Volkov is over in on April twenty seventh which is one week later. They're in sunrise, Florida. That's a big. Yes. PIN card, and I think that's you'll Romero versus Paolo cost. Then one week later auto Ontario Canada. Then one week later Rio de Janeiro Brazil for UC to thirty seven and then one week later..

"I'm not saying we should be stopping the presses. And the commission needs to be raising a flag because we gotta get past that bridge. But it's interesting question because I if we're gonna raise like this. I feel like if you're saying, no, I I don't know my crazy here guys. I feel like that's kind of like saying you wake up on a big deal. I said, yes. But I'm I'm not too worried. But I I am technically under. Yes, you are a little bit more. No, I'm I'm confident he's gonna make it what I'm not confident about is how the performance is going to be afterwards. And how it's going to affect him as far as them getting to it. I think he'll do it. But that just seems like it's a lot seems like it's tough. And the only reason I'm. Adding them to do it is because it seems like he's done his research. He seems fine right now. But I don't know what he's going to be like the night afterwards. And I don't think I don't think it's even fair to say he knows how that's going to be because that's why I'm voting. Yes. I'm just because I don't know. I mean, it's funny because I'm I'm picking him as well to to make the weight as as well goes in and. Yeah. But I I ended up on the other side of that. I guess seventy six percent said no for how chiller those people either. They may not understand the history of both guys. Although right now, we're just isolated on dillashaw or they just trust dillashaw or they just don't want to worry about it. They compartmentalize and say, you know, if I was going to go on. But I think I think anybody that knows anything about the sports got a little bit of a worry rate. I would imagine if fire fan and you want to buy tickets for this event. I would be scared to buy tickets for that event. It would be one that I would either wait until the very end where I would go to the next car. I don't know what their way in situations going to be like on ESPN. But all the websites are going to stream it. If there's going to be television. I'd love to know about it. But trust me around that time when there's a block if somebody sends out a t. But to a tweet that says dillashaw weighing in five minutes, there will be a spike in viewership. We all wanna know singles for pseudo. So that's why the seventy six is a little bit shocking to me. And I know we got to wrap this daily debate up, but I will throw in just kind of two things our own m e junkie, Mike, you wrote an article detailing the weight cut with Sam Calvi tow is training conditioning coach, which I guess could ease if you ease your mind, but by the same token are on Mike von is the stats guy. What was that stat last year for two thousand eighteen and how many made events encomium events have been switched out for for a lot of them for way, cut issues. So I I don't know. I it it's on my radar. Yeah. Dig into that article. I've been hearing a lot about that Mike von also big south of my bond. He had an incredible stat or sorry article regarding the stats for two thousand eighteen because ever got to sink your teeth. Do you know what my panic button is on this? What I want him to be first to win. If he's not first away in. It's gonna scare the crap out of me both over we'd like to see both. Right. Seventy six seven no twenty four said. Yes. Thank you to the one thousand six hundred fifty five that voted. All right. We have a quick break coming up here in a few minutes. It's the top of the hour break, it's a quick one. And then when we come back we have a couple of guests headed your way until you little bit about them. One of them is Aaron PICO Aaron PICO is a I want to say former wrestler by think you'll still have one more run at. International wrestling for the United States depends depends on the success of his career. But he's little eased that good. He made it to the finals last time and what was beaten in the finals. Otherwise went represented the United States in Rio de Janeiro Brazil, but he is a belt or feather way. And he is really really good..

Douglas lives and works in Rio de Janeiro Brazil, second biggest city famous for its beaches in it samba, but he grew up in miniaturize a mostly rural state in the interior of the country until he was spotted by scout from one of Rio's football teams and given the kind of chance of a lifetime that every Brazilian boy dreams of the city's bustling bus station. Made from Somalia, so I'm still, you know, I'm still torn I had John Bolton. A now we have these people going ballistic absolutely ballistic that the president made some questioning comments about Christine blazey Ford. Why do this right before? That's what we love about him. Yeah. That's what what we we love about him. I love Ted Koppel yesterday. Did you see you got all up in Brian Stubbs, I see I'm all over the place. I have to try, and you know, get there's just so much to talk about. But let me tell you what the root was. And then we can move on of this animal Sharieff who left Somalian two thousand and eight went to Kenya. Then Tanzania then Zambia, then Namibia then Angola. Then he finds a smuggler takes them to Brazil, and then is route from Brazil to Mexico gets a little hazy, but the court records based research about how Somali migrants have traveled to the American southern border show that Zambia and Angola are on established smuggling routes from east Africa to include some Malaya in Kenya. So from the capital of Luanda Angola, Somali migrants, find it easy to use bogus identity documents to get Brazilian visas, sometimes using smugglers who buy them from the you know, the corrupt consular officials. Elsewhere in the. In the lovely continent of Africa. Then they board flights to Rio de Janeiro Brazil, and from Brazil, they find their way to Columbia and then through Central America to Mexico because distances a huge only professional smugglers can give them the travel documents the visas, the the airfare the physical things that they need and and just the navigation tools, so they can get there. So it's highly likely that Sharieff hired a smuggler in Kenya. Or Ethiopia and paid for one of these guided journeys court cases that Todd bensman has studied show from smuggling prosecutions, you know, that smugglers of migrants from Somalia often fish for their clients in the Kenyan refugee camps or in certain aerobic neighborhoods that are populated by a lot of Somalis. They arrange for disembarkation Zambia and Angola where smugglers or. Their subordinates arrange for overcoming the biggest hurdle which is flying west over the Atlantic plying. The Atlantic is a hurdle because any international airport requires visas, an ID, not to mention airfare and somebody defects them at a very Elliott destination. So Sharieff landed in Brazil is reported. He almost I sure use the smuggling organization once in Brazil smugglers of Somalis house them in private revenue residences. So they put them up in hotels while they while they and apparently corrupt officials coordinate paperwork for their journey. Northward sheriff stayed for a while and Brazil working no doubt to earn money to pay fees to continue on his northward journey traveled along all the well established roots to Columbia, and then Panama and on through Central America to Mexico. You could do it by bus taxi vote on foot. What we do know is that on July twelfth twenty eleven. Sharif arrived at the sun Cedric port of entry right across from Tijuana, Mexico. He had no documents and no legal status to enter the US. So he was detained for three days now ice says Sharif was found to have no criminal history. Course, he wouldn't sense Amalia had no police force that could have made any arrests, and they had no government that could have recorded a criminal history. Even if there were arrests, but hey, don't confuse them with logic. So court records from four US prosecutions as well as from other sources show that exploiting weaknesses in the American asylum processes was embroidered into smuggling operations. They took pains to coach their clients in fraudulent stories of persecution most likely to dupe the overburdened American asylum officers once migrants like Sharieff reached the border this is a legal foothold and time inside the country while securing their huge sunken. Smuggling fees, and because deportation means the money, you paid was for nothing. But sure you've had the time you need it. Even if it's a silent claim was rejected within the time and opportunity that even rejection would have afforded Sharieff. He would have had the time and the freedom to go to Canada and seek refugee status there. Instead see that this is what's happening. And and they wanna talk about how many beers bread cavenaugh hadn't high school. They don't wanna talk about these, you know, border problems this porous border on our south end our north these smuggling operations for all the way from Africa to South America through Central America through Mexico through the United States to Canada. That's a pretty intense path. But I don't hear anybody in congress anybody in our government talking about it God forbid, you talked about your racist. The biggest at exam befo by. No is there any other names? You can throw at me.
