"About it. Nobody's it's reality though right. So my high school was full of jewish american princesses. That was the reality of the popular girls. And i feel like. I didn't really fit the mold like they would come to school in their brand new jeeves and their blackberries. My parents gave me my grandpa's oil. Nine thousand nine hundred ninety two minivan so it really goes into the bigger question. Like is any stereotype there. I wasn't bothered by to be honest. Because i was like that was my high school experience. And i think it's an honest portrayal of it being a young girl in high school nowadays in a wealthy jewish community. And don't get me wrong. There's a lot of great jews in high school that are in the american is No for sure you were one. I was one. I told i get what you're saying. Tv shows big hand. It is a daily hustle. And this is my question right. Because i know what a freelance writers life looks like and largely. It's like you sit in coffee shops and hope that more famous successful writers. Don't walk in and make you and you send a lot of emails and maybe write something for an hour. My image of hollywood and again this is this is just purely unfair is like you know pilates and the more that you also look good all the time right so i imagine that you booked several hours of just physical self-improvement today male female. You've all got up six packs. Everyone goes to equinoxes can you i joe it's expensive. I did wadis. i'm basic and you worry about. But i've had friends have gone out there and said like yeah my agents said i had to bulk up twenty pounds lose twenty pounds or whatever. It's so brutal. How do you work that. It's your routine. We're also trying to write stuff working out like having our to take care of myself. I know it's such an answer but truly is my release of anxiety to be honest like especially even during the pandemic. I had no control over anything like everybody else in the world and running outside for now where even those with the mask. It was like okay. This is my release. And then i also meditate. And we're talking about you know they just do this for treat. That was the next weekend and there was a spot available as like okay. I'll lose the woods. Do iowa osco strangers. That sounds safe totally. So then they went and it was a three day ceremony. Ebersol was it awesome. It was. There's a misconception about iowa guy it does not fixed you. You don't come out and being like i'm in enlightenment. It opens the door but he has to do a lot where so. It was a three day ceremony and there was led by a professional shaman from and it was really really beautiful but it was also burying jets like everybody has their own journey with it and for me going into it. It opens a lot wounds than i needed. In the aftermath of i go in to a lot of work and it was interesting because i came out of colorado and this is to lie of twenty twenty ally. Shut down again so i come back in. The world on. Fire is what it felt like. It was like whoa. I'm trying to heal and then we're shut down and i can't see people it was. It was an interesting experience. Say the least and is and so. When you're doing your meditation we got there. Because you're pilates and meditation for me. Working out and not shannon is something. I need to do to stay connected with myself because i am such a crazy superficial fields. I need you.

"Josh. Well i mean. I think probably because they want to see it for more games. I mean look drew if both those dudes play at the level. They played against louisiana monroe. You might not need more wide l. But i think there's a part of it. I think people want to see especially ali kenny. Do it against scc defensive backs. Yeah those two guys are they mean just more depth people around them. There's no problem at wide receiver one and two. But there's a lot of unproven players and inexperienced outside of them with the exception of maybe eps being the trusted third. Yeah i i mean. The question is not appreciate the call. Do we have a third or fourth guy ryan. Because you know you can sec. David insists can key in on one guy. So you got to have more. I mean we've had years we've had no options but we probably need more than two etc. And that's why. I think people are expecting to hear from josh l. e. i mean he was the one and only guy last year so defenses could double team him most of the tax. They knew that was the only guy that was a threat from the receiver position. Now you got one day on these other guys josh. Now seeing man coverage he's going to have that's what people expect him to have a much bigger year because he's going to be more open more often so i mean he's still need to develop the mag would kid. Somebody's still i think. Step up and get some reps in there but they want apps can do it. They want him to be the guy. The big twelve officially invited houston central florida cincinnati and. Byu when this initially happened. I'd said those three in memphis but actually. Byu's probably better than memphis because you get the whole mormon population which byu has its own network. So they get. They have a lot more fans than you would think. I don't know if that will make the big twelve drew a power conference. I don't know if they'll keep their playoff Playoff thing but i think it's the best they could do. I mean if you were picking who you would want. I think you'd probably pick those four schools. I'm not sure who else they would add so for the big twelve. I think it was the best move. They can make pat him on the back because they got the best names available. But it's still not great. I mean the big twelve whether it'll be compared to what it was not even close. And i think it's on its way down. I think it'd be tough to keep that playoff spot and being one of the top conferences with the group. They have but as you said it's all they can do so. I guess good job. It'd be good basketball conference. I mean from a basketball standpoint adding houston in cincinnati. You know i mean you. There's a legitimate argument rien. Houston cincinnati could come in and be the second and third best program in that conference in basketball if they if they start playing well. Yeah even football cincinnati houston. They were top. Ten made have been at top ten at some point last year in football in central florida two years for move and having that great year in basketball with byu maybe our boy mark pope can pull off some big wins and build a nice resume and be a neighbor on down the road. We can consider. I mean it's not texas. And oklahoma. But i do think like there. The fifth best conference but i think they will be distinctly the fifth. You know what i mean like. They're still going to be a big gap between them and everybody else so there is value in that. I mean. i think it's the best he could do. I think the one to watch as central florida. Now that they're in a good conference. I think that could become a power program with gus malzahn. There you know ryan. I think that's a program that thing could take off their if they're able to stay in that conference and that conference stay together. Yeah you're right like i said. All four of those schools are really kind of up and coming football school so that definitely helps helps them a little bit certainly better in kansas at football five. Oh one ten eighty we will take a break. We come back Ryan have your stockton thing ready. We'll be right back already. Talked to matt jones and the crew. All the clark's pop and shot phone line at five to seven one. Ten eighty or one eight seven seven four hundred eighty p blue and you kentucky sports radio on talk radio tenny. You know sometimes see a headline and i say to myself. I would read anything about this store anything. I saw that headline shannon just now. Can i read you this headline. let's see what is your congressman. What congresswoman eleanor. Holmes norton from dc. A statement today denying responsibility for letting loose six zebras that have been on the run in the dc suburbs. What all right. So there's parts. I like about this first of all the woman congress. Why did she have to release this statement. Did people believe that this congresswoman let the zebras loose and if they did why would they believe that. I mean all the suspects drew and i'm sure there are suspects. You have six zebras running around. How do you get to a congresswoman and say. You know who i think did it. The co like. If i found out six zebras were running around lexington. I wouldn't immediately suspect andy bar in less. Your local congressman or woman kept zebras. And then maybe in this case she did or does have zebras. Those zebra collect or maybe advocating for the release of zebras. Well this is. I mean first of all. I doubt she had him in her yard. I think that's illegal. I would assume it's from the zoo. But maybe not. Secondly i've lived in the dc suburbs. Can you imagine going outside your house and seeing six zebra thrown around saying no. I can't i would think they were horses. That somebody paying stripes on. I was just thinking you've all the animals to to randomly. We see zebra might be the one that. Throw me off the most exotic bird thing to see in your front yard. I think if i saw lion i'd be more scared and freaked out or maybe a giraffe but zebra would be up there. And they haven't caught him yet. So that means ryan there six zebras running around the d. c. area still puzzled about this congresswoman like assault. She tweeted solid alibi. Yes she said this quote. Let me read you. The quote. I was at my local news is reported zebras. Were let loose on saturday or sunday period of time which i was enjoying quiet time at home with my family. My alibi is solid quiet. Zebras i kind of feel like we're all going to have to release a statement now so we're not accused. Retinas suspected her really. I'm really fascinated as to why she was the suspect. There's got to be a good back story. I don't think they just point it and say hey you you're the one who we suspect. There's got to be a good reason. I got to know more about this. Don't you yeah. yeah. I mean that okay here. This is the paragraph. The charges were made known when a member of the public noted historically norton has valued the principle of consent of the governed and has been known to oppose unnecessary fence.

"Little shade and a little anger. At the city of Houston for a sec Shankar. I believe it's not called by anyone. Now, you know in downtown Houston there have happens to be a Chick-fil-A. Yes. Okay. So what time do you think a normal Chick-fil-A would actually close? I mean. Eleven o'clock at the earliest perfect perfect. Right. I'm right there. Okay. So I'm taking flying out here. Hey, there's some chick fil let that is nearby where we are staying avenue Chick-fil-A and a couple of months, I just gonna stroll on over. Right. So I headed into this mall, and it was early even the mall. I see closes at six o'clock on weeknights. I'm like, wow, I never even heard of them all the closes at six th street the sidewalks in downtown Houston roll up at five thirty now I was in the mall proper at about five thirty till I turned the corner and see the chick fillet cage already down lights off everyone out. I'm like what? Man. Did you hold onto the cage? Impress your face against it. With one Denzel Washington in glory. Tear just dripping down your now I wanted to do the Golden State Donut. Shop what it's closed they gotta have a couple of chicken breasts rolling around here somewhere. You know? I mean, there was there was a couple mall. Cops are keeping an eye on me. But I was like are you serious like five thirty early five this. I was like what should a check with your boy, I told you man, everybody leaves downtown Houston. No later than five thirty because you've got to sit in traffic for two hours to get where you're going. I would've told you that debate to have mistake seeing. That's why it's called me. Now. I went deli sandwich today just to they didn't get my business. Now, see you know what? Now, you just only hurting yourself. Don't get mad at Chick-fil-A because you didn't get there in time you ate a deli sandwich. When you could ahead at least half a dozen, spicy chicken sandwich. We cutting off our nose the spider faces that we know what it was. It was the pain talk. Listen, I'm just one of the more painful things in life because this happened to me a couple of weeks ago coming back from Tahoe Chick-fil-A on a Sunday Sunday man pulled in their thought I was a kid it in. Aw. Wow. Nobody's here. And then it dawned on me, no one's here because Chick-fil-A is close on Sunday thirty on a week night. I mean, that's what is that. That's more of a of that that was a product of the environment that you're currently in. Yeah. I was just cross Houston off places not to move. Chick-fil-a is at five thirty at listen, the the oppressive heat and humidity is the number one reason why you should move there. Last time we were in Houston for nine a preseason game. I was just impressed that all the drinking of Mike. Did that was kind of the interesting thing. Well, I mean, that's the only way that Mike can deal with a crushing reality that he is who he is. Now, he actually had an app, and he was checking off all these craft beers. He was drinking. So he's trying to be a classy alcoholic. He's like. An excel spreadsheet. Oh, I haven't tried this. You're like nine beers in. What do you mean? Bruce bag. All right. So fine. I mean, you you take daily notes, and they're they're very meticulous. And in terms of what you're drinking and how much you're drinking. No. But you know, he reminds me reminded me of everyone who has little kids when they go to the you get roped into one Chucky cheese thing and keep going back to the parents to get more tickets. Mike would just keep coming back to me for cash to keep buying them. All these beers. Wow. So he's not as dumb as I thought. No. I was you know, I said, hey, man, I'll I'll take you out for a couple of beers. And then he kept. Hey, dad can more Catholic. Yeah. I'm reaching in my pocket on this many times. You have money in their pocket that can be accessed by you simply reaching into it. So I was like my last two things. I bought all my mic, all beer and Chick-fil-A is closed at five thirty Mike. You know, what let's get after James harden tonight. Let's go. This is Houston starting to piss me off a little bit warriors will not have the services of Kevin Durant's. I mean, obviously that doesn't help you none. But I do think with the warriors playing the rockets without Kevin Durant. This is a really good start for their road trip because you're not easing into this important road trip coming off of that disappointing loss to Phoenix you're not easing into this tough trip by playing New Orleans or Memphis, you get into this trip by playing the tougher of the three the four teams you're going to see Oklahoma City, obviously, they're doing their thing. But with the rockets heaven success against the warriors last year almost having the ultimate success in the playoffs and online to sweep the season series this year, if they get the win I like this game for the warriors and it being a tough game against the rockets coming up because if you're not focused for this game. Then what the hell are we doing here? Yeah. It's I really think the. You know, not having Durant could be a huge huge issue because PJ Tucker now can be unleashed on other people, which is which is a bit of a problem. But, but when you play the rockets, honestly when heir Gordon and PJ Tucker are making threes, they become hellacious to deal with which is the problem. The last time the warriors. Yeah. Could saw each other. You know, and then the other I mean, freed hit two three guide made eight is entire career. He hit two threes and one game in the last meeting. What you would hope is when Houston played so well without hardened that maybe the warriors answer the bell with the same type of effort. You know? So I do look at a rocket team. They'll haven't won nine in a row wolf. This is a this is an interesting one. And I really think for DeMarcus this is not a great match up with cappella screen role at all. So kevon looney becomes a major factor in this one. So this is this. Let's just say. From talking to, you know, Mike Breen and thank God, you're here too. So I've been hanging out with all these people people talk both teams have each other's attention. Very, you know. Legitimately. You know, the warriors rien Houston Houston side of the warriors like for a game in March both teams that they got their eye on each other. You know, without K D, you might be structurally screwed a little bit. But it won't be because the warriors just roll out there and get crushed like that. I don't I don't see that happening at all. What is the outlook on Kevin Durant's ankle? If this were a playoff game. Would he played play? Okay. Yeah. He'd play. That's that. This is one a lot like clay's knee where it was just you know is bothering you. Yeah. It's bothering me shit. You know, would it be better? If you got some time off yet. Oh, it will are the playoffs today. No, okay. Let's take that time off. I mean, the Rick celebrating is done an excellent job same thing with Steph groin to could he have come. I know he wanted to play in Toronto desperately. But it was the better part of these guys have to be right at the alternate ultimate, and especially if you got an ankle or knee or something that's your pans, man. That's your movement that your energy that your shooting. You don't want a guy trying to fight through that with sixteen regular season games left. The warriors have been very consistent over these past few years in being overly cautious and rightfully cautious. When it comes to injuries. They don't rush guys back right at all. Congratulations to Bill Kivlehan of Castroville. He is a made up name. Hand. Castroville you can go find him if you want. He is all the Castroville Kipling. Absolutely now. They've been running that town for centuries. I believe. Bill is the latest qualifier for our midday. Giants.

"Right back to the show. As he this hotdog. Now, you don't. Days off. You see this? Gallon of ice cream. Now, you don't. You see those idiots mixing milk and coke on the internet. Now, you don't. All right to answer. The question the billion dollar question in may when is Conor McGregor going to fight? Once again, we have our answer last night at five am yesterday morning five AM in Miami. Why don't we skip to the ending? I and just work our way backwards. The ending is McGregor was arrested yesterday afternoon and charged with strong armed robbery and criminal mischief. Now when you hear that sounds amazing, right? Sounds awesome. Strong armed robbery. What is that? Did he have a team of guys in ski masks going to take down a Bank vault did Connor go. All Bob de Niro from heat or was it like the jokers crew doing the heat tribute in the dark Knight. Actually, it's none of the above nowhere near as cool is any of that. And in fact, much much much dumber. According to police McGregor was leaving the fountain. Blue Miami Beach shortly before five AM yesterday morning when a twenty two year old man attempted to take a pic of Connor. The allegation is Connor knocked the phone out of the guy's hand. He then stomped on it repeatedly. And then took what was left of the phone and left. It's a pretty amazing series of moves slap the phone out of this guy's hand. Stop all over. It scoop it up walk off because that was going to work. Nobody was going to notice the one of the most famous people on the planet. It just come out of a club. And knocked the phone out of some guy's hand allegedly then stomped on it and left with the remains. Oh well. If he's got the busted phone, then he cleaned up the scene, and there is no evidence. It's the perfect crime. Right. This number going to overreact. I'm not going to overreact and say that that is the worst thing ever because it's not. But it might be the dumbest thing ever. How many thousands of times has McGregor experienced something like this? How many thousands of times have fans rushed up on him and wanted to pick the I'm sure it gets tiring. I'm sure it's tedious. I'm sure gets old. Maybe he was having a bad night. Maybe he was in a bad mood. But you can't do that. You can't ever do that. They're about a million different ways to react to a person wanting pick of you at five AM outside of a club in Miami. Stopping on that phone is probably last on that list. If you don't wanna picture taken cool, tell him or pay somebody to roll with you who can politely tell that person that you can do that. But what you can't do is knock the. The phone out of this guy's hand stop on it. And then scoop up the pieces and then leave that's not only on cool. It's a felony. In fact, it's too. I mean, sure if the guy didn't get his pick. You got him there. Connor he did not get his pick and got his phone busted. But you got two more charges on your rap sheet. So I hope that was worth it. But I know it wasn't scoreboard. Now reads picks zero charges to it's a bad loss. It's a beatdown especially when you're still dealing with some of the blowback from the bus attack. Luckily that was not a violation of any parole. But still there is that blowback the optics are really bad again. But in congress defense at least this time, he did not jump on a plane fly across an ocean. And then run a metal Dolly into this dudes phone, so I guess that anger management program that he attended his part of the last arrest, actually talk. It's working and to that point early this morning Connor jumped on Instagram and posted quote. Patients in this world is a virtue. I continue to work on a love my fans dearly. Thank you all. Man. I hope he does continue to work on patients. And I can't imagine the annoyance of being constantly hassled like that. But. It comes with the gig. You got to work around it. You got to work through it. You can't stop your way through. It mean. Don't get it. Twisted. Connor is still an incredible presence Connor is still one of the most electric stars in any sport belatedly. He's had more arrests that he's had fights in the cage. And when he does get the cage. Now, he loses we might be teetering on something here. We might be teetering on something here. Fortunately, four corner. People still want to see him fight in the cage, but they do not want to see him fighting buses or fans with phones or Floyd Mayweather. They wanted to see him fight other guys in cages, nobody wants Connor to be fighting the law or the courts or buses or money. May they want him to fight dudes with fingerless gloves more of that? And less running metal dollies through buses and stomping on phones. That'd be a good thing. It's gonna be Connor my man, are you a fighter or a celebrity a fight. Later or Alec Baldwin a huge McGregor house. Still huge Connor house still big on this guy. But you guys show me more than you've shown me of late. You can't do that on your worst night. That's more than a bad. Look that's more than bad form. That's a felony. That's two felonies. And you got to know if you're that guy coming out of a club. It's always going to be there. Jake Dover on Twitter. Connors arrest is a blow not good look for him below. Not good sign. Charley casserly. That is. Not good bolo night. Good. Dear Jim, damn, dude. You're gonna make Shane cry. "Mike Reese, so hi, Mike. What do you think? What do you think of the whole gronk thing? We're waiting each day to find out what his future will be. How will that impact? How things play out here in the off season. Well, susie. You know, they were going to look at tight end regardless of what gronkowski decided. And now, you know, if he ever retired that would go to a higher level. I will tell you though, one thing boots to the ground here in New England gronkowski's actually been reporting to the facility a couple of times over the last couple of weeks. Whether that means he's coming back or not I don't think we can go that far, but it does reflect reflected he's in a good state of mind right now coming up this season. Teddy talked about Bill Belichick being a little different in the playoffs. Well, rob gronkowski as well. He seemed very happy leading into the Super Bowl. And after that game. What I'd say about gronkowski. If he's going to the facility over those last two weeks, I would say it's for treatment. Because definitely he took a big shot on the guy, and he said himself, it's swelled up and those type of contusions when you get hit on them without you still need those you still need those treatment. I would say I've been in those meetings with coach Bela check when a season ends. And he says this is an. Very emotional time or I don't make decisions within the next few weeks. That's what he's told them already. I know he's told them in that meeting. I know gronkowski hurt him. He's referenced it. Also, he's letting the emotions dissipate a touch see how sti- field Seattle's body feels. But I know there are points during this year Suzy, Ron Cousy was beat up, and he was beat up to the point where he was no, you can always tell but with around, rob. He's got a joy about him. Is you can just tell this. He's happy. He's join ful on this is this is put ball, and I love it. And if that's gone, that's what he'll start redetermined what he wants to do. All right as we await the answer to that. Mike. What's the biggest priority? Then for the receiving core. Well, you mentioned it you have Chris HOGAN, Phillip door set and Cordeiro Patterson all scheduled for unrestricted free agency. And you look back at how the patriots handled last season they traded for Josh, Gordon and all three of those players were already on the roster. And that told you they felt like they needed an upgrade last season. So I expect the patriots to look hard at the wide receiver position around the league weather Hogan's back door sets, backer Patterson, regardless of that that's going to be a position that seems to be a top priority for them this op seats, I love to see Patterson back. They have an extra dimension with him. They used tailback. I mean, he's a kick returner a lot of different things. He can do. I love to see him back. They'd have to retool definitely along that receiving core. Once again, this is a domino of the gronkowski decision. Because you can the slot receiver. Okay. It's Troy Troy Brown. Danny amendola, Julian Edelman, those type of guys. Now, there's only one. Bronc hausky. Okay. You don't just replace a guy like that a guy that can be have that type of receiving production and still be a blocker. If rob decides to retire. This offense is going to change dramatically and maybe they load up on more receiving threats. Let's flip over to the defensive side and Mike their sack leader for twenty eighteen Trey flowers, unrestricted free agent. How do you see that playing out? Well, susie. There's a lot of pride in the organization of how Trey flowers developed for them a fourth round pick out of Arkansas played only four snaps as a rookie, and then has emerged into a core player for them. And he's everything this program really represents in the sense of he puts the team first. He's quiet. He doesn't make waves off the field. And he's a very good player who's versatile and can play a lot of different techniques along the defensive line. What's going to be interesting to watch his free agency unfold is how there's more patriots influence around the NFL. Brian Florida's in Miami. Matt Patricia in Detroit, you could say Mike rebel in Tennessee. Bill O rien Houston does their presence..
