"Brennan and Brings. My and also they have tied this. Little Kid Kim. He's like probably twenty. They've tied him to the side of this thing like Jesus. He's like, Hey man I looked up to you and you're just a Blah Blah Blah judges kills this guy right if them Denzel Washington look knocked that kid out put him in custody she can corroborate everything. Anything else. I can get away with, but I need Kim to be alive. That's true and Kim Might WanNa sing the praises and you know relive these crimes because he admired John Lithgow so much. Like, basically just sets them up like I'm totally fine with John Lithgow executing this kid which which makes no sense that you need this kid live. So Kim is now dead John Got Clubs up to get the protests with with the line. Styles you bastard. Because he is doing weird again, it's totally impossible but he like throwing his voice all over the place because like as far as lithgow knows like Denzel Washington is dead at this point. Yes, and so like he's like, Oh, I'm over here styles no up here look over there and he's like, where are you ed? Yeah. He's like climbing up this thing and then like. Washington reveals himself and now we're just fighting on these two metal towers which was just so crazy. We arm wrestle at the top of this Tower Yes oh, dude this is insane when they do this arm wrestle lithgow puts John. PUTS. Denzel Washington's forearm through this spike at the top of it. This was like a third act moment of Gore that I did not see confidence rules. Terminator type of violence right there. Yeah. Yes. It's crazy. Still, going through his arm, Denzel should be not human because he just. Him taking his hand out of this and then continuing on but you know he's fighting for his life in reputation and so much more and he's got this like harness system something something, and then he goes to like ice tea like hit the power now and the electric John Lithgow Ralph should be the death of John Lithgow by the H- you'd be you'd be dead. And but instead. Earl Talbot Blake runs through the electricity. Now he's in every house in Los Angeles. Let. Gremlin now? Lose the movie we did Ghost in the machine. Yes. That's kind of the plot. Can't by microwave where there's proconsul? A he gets electrocuted, but he doesn't die and Denzel just throws them onto this other spike where he gets a paled, which is pretty cool. Does Denzel Toss him off that or does he saw good question because I think it's like a he gets electrocuted and his like hall that was. Definitely. Alive when it happens, it's very awkward and then I think he's just like oh shell. Falls because Denzel is already like jumped off the thing at this year and not to be electrocuted and my God the impaling. Again. I did not see common. It's really incredible. Said Dent the everybody got Denzel's line right here that you got the point now NYSC fuck that's fucking cold I love it and here's the thing. The movie's over with and like. There's like Denzel Washington gets off of this thing and cop runs up to him and immediately puts a blanket. And I'm like, no no like it sounds like you were some fucking hostage dude like there are a lot of questions to be answered. Let's back up three weeks to the. Pedophilia. Shows up. Again. Yes he wasn't he put a blanket he needs medical attention. Immediately, he's going to lose that officer Oh. Yeah. Totally. Did you going to be the fucking one arm district attorney men? There's a sitcom. The report shows up and she's like well now that you've been exonerated and they start filming the to debts of Kim and. John Lithgow again, just putting on the news. Totally fine. That's reports starts. It's like an we're live to corpses in the same shot, and then it tilts down to the reporter like well, that carnage up there which you just saw totally. Blood of Earl Talbot Blake is now dripping on my head. And she's like doing the news report and Denzel like just walks into the frame like without saying anything being a real creep here ruining the broadcast and she's styles you can't do that. We're live. And then it cuts to black and they keep talking and there's some like it's a looney tunes like like like Oh what's this channel eleven or whatever news network she's with he was like Nah turns off the camera, which is also turning off the movie. Yes. I guess. So it really wasn't the news though it was the guy that was trying to destroy you who you just murdered I dunno, it's a very bizarre mealy mouth, the media these days they killed the first enemy now used to kill his new nemesis them who they have that all that that thing he yelled on top of ice t's outs they have that on camera. Around I mean I think nick styles is Kinda right here about his. Blaming the media because he no know few years later, they're going to railroad Richard Jewel. He's just. Because yeah, I guess that's the idea is, but it'd be looking at his life is ruined ruined. Told there's no matter what happens even now did he get medication for the club by the way to get that mention of penicillin so okay. All right but yeah, I think the movie tries to have you believe he's going to be totally exonerated. Hospitable. Know he's bird to people I don't know what to tell you but not only do you the clap. Somehow you have dengue fever. Wear would have gotten that but It would be if they made a sequel now and like he has been in jail for thirty years. Like it not work out. It's like he still went to jail after all of it and then I, don't know something something maybe Kevin Pollack's alive. His cellmate. Jesse Ventura. and. Guess what happened John Lithgow did when he got electrocuted, he did become now he's inside the computers and he knows how to get them kind of. I'm using the way Jesse Ventura died. So it'd have to be another wrestler. We should try to remake the format because what we have here is so good. Mankind in there Oh Yeah Mick Foley could do it sure makes you could fill mcfaul getting stabbed with a sword. Just go through exactly the same motions as the original raker Shag because it's just too good. speaking of just too good man I feel like a little silly asking but shit with anybody recommend. Oh, it's. It's just the best. It's so silly. It's so stupid and it.

"That bill is he looks nice and the idea iced tea helping share but he's also like and you could take place entire business news. A million dollars advocate crack cocaine and the building, but I've been using pretty effectively. No problem. Dude. You Owe me one. I feel like that phone conversation when he calls ice tea before he goes back to the house to throw the television on the floor. I think like that must have been a much longer senior Denzel negotiates with ice tea to like change his ways a little bit maybe get out of the game or something like that. I was almost like so much. So I was thinking about that I was expecting an epilogue for this movie where like ice tea is working at the community's dowd. Just throw out your whole drug business to get their needs an epilogue. Sorry guys. There is a great ice tea line when they which should be longer. Correct but he Says helping you can mind fuck the mayor police and. Part. that he wants to fuck over the fire department is so solares. All over in one shot it's just so great. Yeah. Yeah. I A mad at the mayor for obvious reasons the police again obvious reason and yet the Fire Department get that fucking Canada the he died. Somewhere, around there's like, I'm just writing down ice tea lines but like Yo, you missed the wrong man motherfucker that's fucking great and then this one. Yeah I. I've never seen the trailer for this movie, but if they were smart, they put it in. He goes you try to take away my homeboys dreams now in your nightmares or some something like that about dreams and nightmares and I was like good God. This is. John Lithgow Oh picks up a payphone and it's ice tea and he's like you. He's as you visit about the nightmares and the dreams and he's like you want to find out who has the power come to the tower and the eggs up. And it's like John Lithgow does he has to go to the tower where the kids were going to be, and that's when Denzil has set up this donkey Kong S. Scenario. Brennan and Brings. My and also they have tied this. Little Kid.

"You'd if it was in slow motion, it might be the same exact more or less like they shoot Kevin pollock to ribbons. Great. It's a super murder. Of And then inland, of course, Gianluca goes hey catch and then the catches the gun and. Empty now, bullet. Your fingers are all over the whatever your prints on the. Because, he's. Off The plastic cups and this is Let me tell you like. There has to be some afterlife penalty for a soul that has a dumb ass final line while they're alive because Kevin Pollack like falls over and Denzel is like Oh you know stay with me. Don't you know don't go don't go and he's like well, I gotTa tell you Denzel Washington it turns out. You're right John Lithgow is alive otherwise how could he kill me? I don't want to die having been murdered, and my last lines are a badge. Yes that's no. Waste your last breath on that is fucked and sad it's also proof they say earlier like he's got his fiancee. How about like tell Rebecca I love her one of those. They're like get them or would I sure totally you know here's a fucking killer gag. Me And my father is twenty your grudge tell him. It wasn't worth it and I love him how about one of those you know like Having thing. Let me tell you about how my friend and partner for many years died. It's a howler. So this is like the end of the movie here. So he's going to get arrested for the death of his partner. He goes we he runs to his house and he's like listen guys I. Know You guys hate me because you think I'm this philandering asshole you gotta do also a child molester probably Tom Lester. Let's go to this crack house and we'll all be okay kind of a situation. It's kind of funny because like you see him make the call to ice tea before he goes the house and he's like trying to get the wife to pack up the kids and everything like that. He's a alison getting the car doesn't matter. And the news has the story on of like discovering Kevin Bolic's body. Washington just throws the TV on the floor. It's like can't find the remote. Don't want my wife to hear this better. Just throw the TV on the ground and and this movie is like if you're making an Arnold Palmer and you had all the put a little drop advice way too much lemony like Oh that's. And you start fucking dumping a bunch of ice tea in the Ed just to the ratios out that is what's happening right now because there is so much ice tea coming up. It's like he goes from a character that was just kind of in the beginning of the movie s to like now that Kevin Politics that he's the second banana, well, he won't be third build after. I was shocked a Yankee is actually 'cause. It's definitely there's the poster is definitely the three this Denzel Washington John, Lithgow, ice tea. All the top take that Kevin pollock. So like. Basically, his he. is to explain to his wife like listen I would do anything for this guy even though don't really respect him but he keeps me on something something. Don't worry you guys are GonNa. Be Okay. and. Then it's like, okay let's do the plan to John Lithgow and Kim in this. Club and guys it's too late. It's it's way too late for us to be in the movie you can't have a scene that takes place in the first fifteen minutes of a blade. At the end of your Denzel Washington. I'M GONNA disagree with this because I, feel like a woke me I that it was asleep at all because it's moves nonstop thrill ride but it continues to be a nonstop bill ride because I'm like Holy Hell what is all this is nudity everywhere all of a sudden what I mean if you are going to do, you might as well, just put like a Hologram go go dancers. Just I mean who cares at this point I was expecting a robot bartend. What will you have on the list? I mean, also it's crazy because like this whole sequence with this insane club is like less than two minutes long and like. You cannot have this wild of a space and I can't see it for at least a full length seed. Also, the idea is what what it is is it's your classic movie thing were to pick characters go to a bar and some the news report is important and someone character goes hey up. But meanwhile it's a fucking Nutso sex club which does not play the fucking six o'clock. Totally parent. There are VHS tapes on loop other quote unquote movie at when when I go to crazy sx sex club might one of my kids is watching Chuck Scarborough and Susan. Six o'clock hundred percent. At what the fuck are you looking at and? What you're doing is a private because like he tells them to turn it 'cause Denzel Washington is on top of the of ice t's building. and. He is ranting now. I think busted has enough material for two years after this rant, he's got here. Oh totally do this. There's GonNa be several special I don't like I understand that the he's like, yeah, it was I was framed and all this stuff but I would stop to explain this rant where I'm like yeah, I'm a child pornography. Yeah I fucked that guy. Whatever yeah. Killed One hundred people whatever like he just goes on yeah. He's admitting to all the things that John Lithgow did Jonathan has no. No. Because the idea is he's going to go to jail and suffer like John Lithgow suffered. So he runs down to the he knows what his Krakow says apparently, he gets there immediately and everyone can hear what Denzel Bullhorn or something it's it's insane. He's putting on makeup at this point. I mean this is now a crazy thing where like denzel in this Denzel Lithgow Batman Joker relationship now denzel is becoming the GPS like screaming on this rooftop putting lipstick on laughing maniacally like I don't think. I've seen a good chunk of Denzel Washington movies like a lot of this more recent stuff where it's just the same action movie twelve times I haven't washed her like this is kind of the craziest performances I've ever seen him give I don't know if there's anything. You're out there but this was quite the way he act like he he acts like he hasn't been jerking off until. Denzel. Washington prison like that's when he's going to do it because he gets like a real sexual thrill if he's like Yes yes. Take him in. Yes. Oh, wait. Oh No. Oh, now he's got to kill himself. No. Like. That's what he says because you can't die you have to live. You have to suffer for years and years, and meanwhile ice t's gang is aware of a WHO John Lithgow is I guess they have photographs at some point and who came is because they like they knock out him immediately oh, it's Kinda great. They can take this little turn down and Denzel jumps down some emergency shoot while the building explodes editing cannot heroes the end of the movie everybody you'd say you'd he throws a road flare into ice taste drug lab blowing it up while he jumps it's a it's a shoot for like if the building is under construction, it's you see a similar thing at home alone. Yeah. Yeah. We're like a building is under construction and you have like a thing you can safely throw it down the shaft a fall into a shirt. So then while people who were alive when John Lithgow was brought in on live TV at the thing that everybody saw hundreds of people see him hanging out in front of this fucking building and are like..

"A giant warbirds. Let Letdown your pup- slad we're getting to the technicalities. Of, how this would work? Yes. Sure. Started it. I just don't think he would get angry at that line I like so like what? Really. Happens. I'm saying like there would be prickly ash. Prison guards that would take issue with that. But I firmly believe that this guard just wants John Lithgow to be out of it. So super important to realize that they're they're giving these con while they're they walk into the parole officing room whatever the he want to call it. These these prisoners are doing maintenance routine maintenance I assume with power drills and band saws, and what have you know what we're moving to another conference room Here's the thing we're GONNA. Have you a take out the cameras all over this place in the parole room as well But you know in case, but the pubic hair line I think is like four play for the extreme fucking of the these are. Become here. Do this movie is like John Lithgow as driving a boat and then like every time he's on camera he's jamming the throttle forward lake. It is insane like this whole thing is first of all funny detail this stupid like public defender Guy is like So He's been bothered by the ARYAN Brotherhood the ARYAN Brotherhood for those of you who don't know I was like they work for. Board, they know exactly who the Air Brotherhood let's move on with the details. The guy is like it's like. So when you get out like, are you going to whatever and? I don't remember the setup is but the line of no to fuck your wife and your daughter Hell maybe even your dog it was like going to what are you GonNa do when you get out I'm going to go to your house that he's Going to do that to thank is a yes, no fucker white and your daughter and maybe your. and then I was like Ding Ding Ding Dude fucking ricochet Bingo I just got the bestiality God Damn it, they never WANNA. Come to thank me. Time I think they're gonNA come to my house and thing but they're always fucking my daughter and wife he's. What to take? He's got approved stab. Zoo. Instantly somehow shoots this dude head what what is this little device got John? Shot Live. It's it's insane. The funniest thing is this guy this parole board guy is such a fucking Weiner like he doesn't know that he has seconds to live but after John Lithgow threatens to rape his whole family and the dog the guy is like while I don't like that kind of. Lift cal again, right here is then you'll probably hate this and he pulls out what looks like a they didn't have these back then I. Don't think but like a car fob. Pushes.

"The road and I don't want you and your dudes like banging early slinging on the corners or like fucking with these kids. It's it's a real remember in this movie he's going to be important later we don't have anything from right now. What Hey, listen I see whatever right now? Hang around we'll go we I promise later we'll have something for you. There are some great Denzel Lines when when they visit is t here at like like Oh we start you start out hot wiring cars now you hot wire cocaine. Right. Yeah. Because they're taking crack, there's like a crack facility or something you definitely also very important detail here there is a massive drug lab at the top floor of this building I. Love it because it's so crazy like he's he goes in there and they're like Yo what are you GonNa? You'RE GONNA get killed right now like he brings up these two be friends and Blah Blah he saw brother die and then it's like Oh. Yeah that's not enough. Here's this grenade I brought I'm like movie can I get a bit? Can I just hold a thermal? No know what Dude I got politely disagree here because my seatbelt was already fascinating. I was ready to take it into the next year with this grenade. I was here we go I think Denzel even screams. Let's all die tonight I was like absolutely nine and a half minutes away from fucking area warriors showdown like Greg Aids and it crack House honestly I wrote it down the line is ready to die raise your hand. I'm ready. I I mean I felt by the time the movie was over with because you're talking about like just ramping up two grenades from the previous sequence with the area warrior reality show and. By the end of this movie, the combined effect of all of these insane moments that just keep escalating we haven't even gotten to the paranoid thriller part of this yet like I was. Exhausted I guess in like the best way possible. But I felt like what people who jog must have Theoretically we. Don't have any hard evidence about how that actually feel this happens right after they get the the murderer that they were trying goes to jail going to jail found guilty. And as he's going out that his friend that friend of his the the. Da. Farris yes. The cow city councilman they're. GonNa do and like he's like, I'm going to go home and kiss my baby. I'M GONNA make love to my wife and I guess she says Dude Really. I've never told you as far as anyone knows I've never had sex I. Guess what I'm doing. Tonight Cool Dude. DEXIA. That later. I just I've never understood the need to broadcast intentions to have. Man We learned a softball league championship. What are you? GonNa do I'm GonNa fuck the Mrs. I'll see you guys later. Okay. Yeah. See at the office on Monday see at Ted Bucking. Live. Hey I want you think me having sex we'll talk to you later. Okay you have a great. By what I? Love you buddy I coming real quick. All right. Also I got to kiss my baby. So have that Nice juxtaposition going on. Just to lighten the mood. So ice tea sort of agrees to the whole thing. They're not gonNA mess around with the kids at the community center and Denzel goes out and Kevin Pollack's waiting for him. And of course, the grenade was just a lighter of. The funny thing is that scene just like kind of cuts and I'm like wait did he put the pin back in like how does? You give this situation and yeah, you're just like it was a lighter don't think about it. Let's go on the movie. So it takes. We jump forward and John Lithgow does in this like prison hospital and the distracting the doctor with Kim. To swap medical records with this Mark Pellegrino esque area. Aryan Dude yes. You're back pocket sure. Now what is the line 'cause I don't I don't remember who has this setup or why but this was a I was laughing so hard I had to fucking pause it i. think it's just some jail guy like some prison guard or something says the John Lithgow I hope you remember deflate loss. And Lithium goes I did with your wife's pubic hair that had to pause the movie. That is what he's about to go. That's the next thing. Is They just one scene where ball? Blah he flips it around and then the next scene is like all right. It's your parole hearing how you remember the flaws when this when they're bringing them out of the cell there you see his the wall of the cell is just newspaper clippings of Denzel Washington and also like edited with pornography far or pornography like Denzel. I would call it hard hat. Head down ass up with Denzel face on it. That's an erotic pose. I don't see any penetration. But it's still like hustler level. Yes. Playboy. The Milo Manera spiderwoman cover is there. It's all sorts of stuff its. Core Pornography yes. Medium core pornography. Thank you. That's exactly like that is the funniest detail that is never really addressed. There are two pictures that are like that. You get a close up on one later also like when Kevin pollock has all this evidence or whatever and I'm like I get the whole again funny enough peppy Silvio obsession the wall of Denzel, all the newspaper clippings but to put his face on the pornography takes do a whole other level of. The scenes with Tchaykovsky, or whatever. fucking Jesse Ventura name is like fuck walls while ski saying like show. Show you WanNa, fuck that guy. What your? End Game here's to fuck this guy trying to put it together. You get a hired on for like sexually trying to figure out what's going on here but I I have to say I was more than happy especially after you beat the shit out of me on your first day to loan you my pornographic magazines but had I known you were going to cut him up for your weird collage year probably would denied the request. Yeah. My brother baked me a cake could put a costco brand shies sting avesta lean in it. With their I'm here for you about right. That is a great detail in this sal. Jesse Ventura does have a giant thing vassily. Bob You would qualify that as A. Vassily ice dude. So this is when yeah, he he is introduced to. Court his public defender guys like you know it just shut up and we'll do our best here because he knows you're not going to get it and also like I don't know if you're obviously let's go with other plans. I wouldn't do the pubic hair line to the guard that's walking me into my parole hearing 'cause the guards. This guy said to me not. Yeah but you know, I would wager those Steve John Lithgow at this point, you know he's injured several of his cellmates he's murder man in medieval combat. In the cafeteria like this guard is probably like you know what? Please parole this guy get him out of my hair I just don't notice it like if somebody said that to me, I'd be more confused than angry it'd be like what what. So you got my wife's pubic hair somehow then floss with it. Could you put this guy somewhere like I don't have to see him I don't know what he's saying to me. But like my whole thing is like the only way that's working is if you have one of them, floss picks and the pubis mounted. because. Otherwise, if it's if you're doing a hand-held job. Is that. Maybe, she's a giant warbirds. Let Letdown your pup- slad we're getting to the technicalities. Of, how this would work? Yes..

"Soup. Back here. Beef arena and I. Love. This guy who is like a bootleg Mark Pellegrino like a Ted Fanta Show Yes oh my God I thought it was Mark Pellegrino for. Way longer than than I should have because it's clearly not but he does kind of look like him and he's like, Oh, the head of the ARYAN nation listen you want to have friends in prison as well. I guess I want to have friends and this is what we realized. Also his buddy Kim is still around and he's in with the areas I guess question mark. This is a weird moment where I'm like really you and your buddy or in the same prison an. and. This is kind of like saved by the bell the collar. Great. Greenfield Dracula. They're like connected the drawn to one another essentially. Revenge on Mr Bell. To Mr Belding at lookout. Aryan warriors. Doing. 'cause he does Kim turns to him and goes wow man you truly are the great. Warrior, what are you talking about American? War. Also, the funny thing is for both Lithgow and And I mean. I guess it's prison. So it's a little different but like Those guys are just white. They're not specifically aries. The Brotherhood I'm sure there's those assholes have like very few rules except don't be Jewish. DOWN WE'RE GONNA. Brown hair. I apologize in advance but we just gotTa do it. I mean that's that's the whole thing I mean look at look at Hitler look the Goebbels's all Brown haired Mother fuckers. The they dictated the rules but didn't follow them then. We're the good guys. All right. He's think about it don't don't break your back stretching to do that justification. We cut to a church Johnny Moss is. Playing as we said, Denzel Father, he's also a reverend. He's doing a baptism on the baby. That Denzel and his wife just had. So you see again like he's got a mustache, he's got a better job. He's married. He's got a candle timeline is fucking crazy 'cause they're that happens and then later these kids like young young actual talking people. Yes, you're totally right. This movie takes place over. Casin, years or set maybe seven. It's ninety one and we're talking with the eighty four Olympics. It's at least six or seven because it's a two year jumped between him going in and this right? Okay. And then I don't know what the jump is when the kids get older I, don't. Miss it must be another five years then because then put that puts it at seven years, and that's the exact amount of time between nineteen, eighty, four and nineteen ninety-one. Okay. This is a project for you, Chris I want you to get like a like a print out the newspapers like zoom in on the facilities the newspaper this is stuff reassemble. The entire time went on the wall of your might peppy Sylvia moment. Exactly. And we should say also that he's got this buddy John Catherine who's councilman Ferris. Who's sponsoring him kind of throughout all this he's like, Oh, you're going to be a great. You can see the what do you call it? They're the the great. The greatness in him. He's GonNa. Great politician like when he's at the church Oh man he's a religious man to like all this stuff. There's talk about him running for president. Yeah well. The first thing he says to his soon to be wife, I would be the first black president. Right. And John, Cochran, he's been in some stuff like he's in boys in the hood. Yes. He was kind of a around. He's been around for awhile. Yeah It's not a huge role here but I do like this actor he I mean, he does have a very, very important role to play before this is all over with all. Absolutely I'm just shocked that they let him in that close to this. Like like it's like the inner circle of your best friends and then your new boss just tapping his wads. Dad is dipping your baby's head into water. Because the other thing that's going on here is Denzel and there's other there's other character Farris. They're they're combining the resources to try to open like a children's community center on some property that's like you know dilapidated or or what have to I guess it must have been a well known enough la thing these two they keep calling them twin towers. I don't know what they were four. I don't know if this was like a was like electric area or something because at the end, it turns into a very electric situation. I assume power plant of some kind. Yeah. I don't really know what he's location is supposed to be I will say it is awesome in this movie. Lots of Nice on location. L. A.. Now that you mentioned the Twin Towers and the earlier footage said nine eleven there there know this could be in loose change the next the new version of loose change will feature footage from ricocheted approve it y'all You got an interview with the guy that was had boots on the ground to their. Ricochet our RT.. Dead. Joe Was a WHO to work with I'll be honest with you know he gave me a half a doughnut. y'All put. They knew what was common and they were planning it from the START RUSSELL MCI. He directed all the news footage on nine eleven. Yes. Speaking peppy Sylvia nobody knew about the quickening until McKay he came into the picture, but it's Ok me and Oliver Stone's son could to solve it. There's an amazing documentary that just came out a little while ago I can't figure all now you know you as being Steve Seda to clarify what you're talking about a real film or something that Youtube Documentary. Amazon. Really Quickly Hilda documentary. Also, have you seen some of the trash that's on Amazon that's not really qualified. That's true. But if it is over forty five minutes. We had a real movie territory It's a conspiracy theory documentary after look it up I'll posted the L. tweet about it, but it's basically like. They follow the guy from loose change as well as the documentarian and like this guy is just a fucking loser living like in Saugerties or something like war. Against Saugerties. No but he's filming rock videos now and he's like trailing distance himself a little bit like I don't know manage I just made a movie and it's like no you did I agree with you Steve Fuck Saugerties. Venetia Alliance. Tenders will get it on here too. There you go. Denzel like so he has to leave his own child's baptism because they to have some call about the community center and. Winds up going into a thing where Denzel goes into this like dilapidated housing project to meet with ice t to be like, Hey, man, we're opening up this community center down.

"They go on this reality show. Let's go get these drug dealers and what the fuck are you talking about it's nuts I cannot believe that this is the way they chose to relay this information. You also 'cause it's like a hard copy type show like. You assume later like when things go bad for fucking nick styles that they're going to come back but like they didn't, they just didn't put the insert back in like all yet. Another bus to. What you're doing, but it's just. Footage. I it's so dumb but like, and then it goes to nothing because then it's like five years later he's promoted to Ada at you know in line to be like the DA probably pretty soon at Lithgow has just been rotting in jail and it's great because. As he's riding in jail, they should they shove him in this other cell they're like all right. You've you've made you've you've put too many of your other cellmates in the emergency room. So now you get to meet up with. I. Don't know what this character's name is. It's I don't think they give it one. He's credited as. Chew Wall Ski and the. and. Then as they're showing John Lithgow to Chihuahua, ski who's played by none of the Jesse Ventura Yeah Indicate Ski Indie. Cute and it's like they kind of shove them in there like Oh what's going to happen because? Were you arrested out of bureaucrats funniest home video? That's awesome. Dude. Because they I don't think that they got the clearance romy busy to use it because he goes. Yeah. I saw you on America's funniest videos. It's either that or like. All right take twelve. Funnier, Barucha videos. No. I can't say the Bob Shaggy Program. You were show funny on USA. Store. His initial bust someone filmed. Was it the fact guy? Yeah, the guy who's not Michael Luca they sold it to the news or whatever. So that's what that's in reference sixty eight. Yeah you got busted on. Starship Shit bipeds Okay John. You're a great actor. We're going to try this time I swear to God I'm GonNa do these take try my best not to chartres in front You're you'RE GONNA be arrested tonight on Ren and stimpy. Looks you got clustered at blockbuster video. Hollywood video. America's. You think this is bad. You should have seen the lines I was blown in command. In Predator Buddy I was really upfront. Many. Lines on. Predator. Much cocaine down in the Mexican Jungle I. Know. I was really excited to work with John Lithgow. But it got to the point that he could. They had to have a body double, which was just a bunch of sticks in a wig. Sticks. You know people think i John was the one who who came up with the term cream cake. I actually was the one who told him to call me 'cause much like Martin Mc fly and chicken. That's the one way that I'm going to get angry. Yup that's right. L. Swayed a bunch of cream cake last night I, use I bake cakes and crease them with my blender. Our new showed me. The Gel is go beats the ever loving Shit at a Jesse. Ventura. The celts can great I love him lift at like venter is totally out for the count on the floor lift throwing shit off the shelf like all of his possessions like. Because I need show for my various manifesto and you think Top bunk to by the. Yup. I got it. Okay. So he's a tough guy. He just beat up this big Guy Adventure got this skull tattooed on his forehead like the Eddie looks like Ventura. Let's Look I've I've totally got that information and you would think that is the end of this part of the move also in real I don't know I think venture would have taken him Irl. Oh, shore of course, there's no doubt about it dude. Around here is Kevin. Pollack does a fucking Colombo impression I wanted. This movie's a roller coaster you're loving every second of it, and then there's certain parts you just want to die. Because he's like sitting out he gives Denzel Washington a ride home and they're like sitting in the car like having some beers for a second or whatever I think and he's just like you know. You know. The one thing you have to do is wonder what detective Columbo would have to say about. Jesus Christ as do the Peter Falk and get it over with how what Jack Nicholson said all I. Think it's a little something like this. You remember Christopher Walken, could you think you could do some for that? No, but I can. You know what? How? `Bout TJ Hooker I'll just do captain Kirk. Just read back the hit so And he's excelling. Now, Denzel has great house. He's doing a surreal killer case. look does this insane What do you call it? They're closing argument where it's amazing. The the the guy from Seinfeld, who's in a ton of movies including Canine and other stuff and I think he's a true romance as well and like he's just like the the defense attorney and one Oh yes the he's. From Seinfeld he's the guy who gets the junior dropped in and he's he wants he's doing dental starts doing this insane fucking. What do you call it? They're closing argument and look this guy as the defense attorneys. Fuck I just lost the case. To that you see this dude throw in the towel. Larry's you're just missing him saying he's just too damn good. Totally right man and like Denzel is like sashaying Don, the aisle of the courtroom like really going above and beyond, and there is an hysterical cut to this judge you guys see this. Or Denzel. Like. Singing and dancing and whatever do this closing argument, and when he gets down to like the end of the courtroom like by the exit doors or whatever you kind of turns around and makes a big scene and they cut to this judge and the guy is just like well. All right. Like this guy, the judges totally into cut to the judge and also sudden you just hear hell. Yeah that's. Right answer a closing argument like we still have to let the jury deliberated. Denzel has a mustache. Now ask the time has passed. Yes. Absolutely. Dealer Nineties Denzel Washington Mustache also. I don't want to get the tweets from the horror hounds. The junior mint guy is also bub from day the debt I say. Columbia Necktie guy from canine it's important to remember that. Thank you. The formative moment the Belushi hounds will will tweeted. Mention that. So we cut to back to prison and I. It's like this is like two other movies I don't even know how many other movies it needs to be to get to this movie, but it's just this guy you've never seen for. All right with two areas got a grudge this prison. There's only one way to solve it, and we're having all these insert shots of people making armor out of phonebook. mean. Like. Great Question. This is like. What is that movie? It's une shutter it's called like. Bronx Warriors Nineteen Ninety nine or something. Yeah. That is the movie was also. AN MS t through K., right? Yes. Okay mean just that like it instantly felt like hyper low budget near future post apocalyptic movie. Yeah it's like. gladiators and were building armor out of phone books like and this is all being allowed to happen in jail. This is horsh. I love it and. And only what areas going to survive, and they've pick up these swords that they've failed. To goodness, this is what I literally will be watching Louisville. Hey. You're going to. See this you just got to. Got To, rewind the movie we're going to start from the beginning. So you understand what's happening you should I mean I made my wife Watch this I was like, no, no, no, no no. No. No. You don't Eric. This reminds me of a movie that I didn't finish the. You've seen as a bunch of kid where it's another like prison fight movie yes fatal combat. You didn't make it no three o'clock in the morning. I got to read it again, but I probably will. This is also similar to the prison fight and tango and cash which is around this time. I think that's where their swords. Or not. But there were electrical currents there was enough bat shit stuff. The film referring to Steve has spent only Thorson Spears Shit in prison. Wow. So I guess this is based in some kind of reality or fantasy. It's they've got these swords they've made. It looks like they've made like bedframes. They've kind of sharpen them disorders I guess that's the only way I could make this heavy kind of a thing that makes you don't remember the story how the Birdman of I fought a bunch of his friends with homemade knives and stuff before escaping. Got There was known back then as the sword man of Alcatraz actually escaped. And this. Two. Areas got a grudge. There's all the way to do it, and that's it. This warrior combat and I do believe this..

"Also don't. To Progressive Donuts. minestrone down. Soup to. Nuts. I busy as he's like listen you got me. You got her all right. I would've put. Down you know what I'm going be when you get naked I'm gonNA show you naked another here nothing under there and he gets all the way down to his boxers not bad by the way no, no no. I'm on this I'm like what the fuck are you doing please stop this please don't do this. Please stop. I'm getting harder. Denzel goes. He's like, Oh, now I'm naked going. The. Only weapon I got left now isn't helpful to you unless you're a pretty girl and I was like Oh my God dude, we're spending his whole movie just like inside man talking about your fucking Dick and and it raises the question is you went back through the filmography. How many of these Denzel Washington characters are talking about the Dick's Greg question probably question might come up in the mighty Quinn. Oh. Yeah Safety's off to. So he has some weird Beretta in his boxer shorts that he just shoots lithgow the leg couple times a yes. Lithgow had taken out a knife at that point and then after that, he says I don't know to someone. Did. The lines in this movie just happened it's a Beretta in the but is better than a butterfly in the boot yes. But applied knife I assume. sure now, it makes more sense I was thinking of the insect. I'd like that. Like Nick Styles has been working on his act for when something went something like this happens like he's got a few lines just ready to go right off like fired up and those don't come to him. He clearly worked on the map home. Well. That's his wife His lady friend is home. You know reading classic literature and he's Writing Zingers for criminal maybe he's calling Kevin Pollack, their work it out together. All right. All right. So so you say the line about your only weapon left is useless unless you're a pretty girl and then I jump in with a great captain Kirk. would be hilarious is a Beretta in the but Denzel? Yeah, okay I like that across that out he's got a little note buckle mole skit he's working on. So I realized that saying but sends a little more childish than ask but sometimes, it's really great to use alliteration in Zinger, what's the knife that has a being? What do you? filleted but that doesn't have any flair Boina, volley could work. Being your boots go but butter butterfly. We're working together working together here. So I got a question. Andrew. You had texted last night that this apparently was is potentially in the die hard universe. Yes. This is indeed a shared cinematic universe with die hard can what does it? There's a character like character caver character crossover. Yes. So the the late Mary Ellen trainor who we know is the mom in things like the goonies and she was the psychiatrist and several lethal weapons in this movie she plays a reporter by the name of Gail Wallin's television reporter. This woman plays this exact same character in the first die hard now this got me thinking was this one of those famous scripts that was supposed to be a die hard movie no. wrote it a bunch it actually was supposed to be a dirty Harry movie really too grim and Eastern. Thanks I'm not taking off. My Fuck. Or? Not Working with Kevin. You. Say they're playing. He's playing basketball and ice tea and you are the guy. Tissue all you better not be a pretty lady because my blood is boiling. Air. Say someone gives me the clap in this that goes to close to home. You know what? Baby John Amos shouldn't be my father just say. Yeah. I was GONNA say wouldn't work if Clint Eastwood an ice tea were childhood friends but. It definitely does not work give Clint. Eastwood. Is the son of John John. Amos mother die hard connection. Yeah Harry we we we diverged interested in ways. Also, you're thirty five years older than me see you later. Harry. Did you just call me PK. Killer I used to work at a slaughterhouse. John Emas by the way is great. I.

"It's to raise now we can't do that. There's nothing else to talk about aside from like how badly Jay, Leno is dressed an ax in that movie. Racism Die I once rented that movie and my I never see my father more disappointed. Really, more disappointed. I mean, yeah that was the start where the life left is is whenever you look at. First Time. Do for a living now yeah I mean, he says he's proud. This is a cabin boy household. Okay. Night starring vehicle. I like cabin boy to this day probably. Pretty Fun movie. That's one. Indra gets five points their. Brown. Right to trailers left to trailers to go. Okay this get this. So the game masters clue here. Is. A sleek nineties buddy cop movie that involves professional. Football. Cabin that's the last boy scout that is the last Scout Eric. Every was right on the heels you have that as well. I did it's a bummer. The tribute Trivia just to say the word fuck is used one hundred and two times. That is one of those famous movies where the fuck cameras incredibly high by the way I just want to point out that both trailers buddy cop. Comedies. taught. On a sort of buddy. This isn't a buddy cop movie, but it's sort of go. All right. So last buddy movie where I was so excited, the buddies brutally murdered. Get to it later. So Eric, you might be feeling pretty bad right now but guess what the third movie is a movie I know no one has ever heard of. The points are doubled. Okay. All right. So the game masters clue here. Is An erotic thriller starring to almost stars that centers around erotic photographer. So so obscure end unwatchable they have clips of keys actors on like shows like the Dennis Miller show at Regis and Kathy Lee explaining the movie it's Never. Smile. So it's A. It's an erotic thriller starting to stars. You know mid level low level stars. Can Kiss ask here's a question for the game master. Okay. I can't believe. I just said that. Can We? Clarify something include that you give schorr and especially for these crazy ones I well I can ask the question then you can just like choose not to answer it. But my question is, are we talking these are almost movie stars or these like almost television stars that accidentally made their way into a movie point? No. These are people that were in movies that probably that were stars or like really close to being movie stars but weren't okay. it centers around erotic photography. and. That's kind of. Photography. Roddick. Can you give us a year This is all around ricochets. This is ninety one ish. And I will try when they do announce this on sometimes it's like, oh, it's coming soon the theater sometimes it's coming soon, video cassette, but this didn't have that assume it's GonNa be alright so that His Chris. Do you WanNa? Do you want to chance it now or do you want to wait to get the trail? What do what do I lose? Your dignity. No. If you guess now you can't guess again for this round until you get a new clue. Until until you're out. I've got to try it. Okay. Is this that Madonna Truth or dare movie? No, it's not. And also I'm GonNa need more than that Madonna truth or dare movies. I. Think. Yeah. In that case, I think Chris you totally right now that I think about that. Okay. So that's Out I'm out I'm out. So now for eight points, here's the Tribune Trivia. This film. No, it's going to get this movie. This stone is listed among the the one hundred most amusingly bad movies ever made in the Golden. Raspberry founder John Wilson's book the goal the official Razzie, movie? Guide. John Nelson. Dude I trust with. And that's for sure. So it's about photography yes or centers around erotic photography. It's a thriller murder going on Oh okay. Hon. has like a generic ass name get you're getting close Eric. I think by the end of this, both of you should try just name what this movie might be called Okay. So then the tagline he's a master of seduction. Every woman's fantasy every woman's nightmare in order to trap him, a female district attorney will have to. Make the ultimate sacrifice herself. So. Okay. All right. We get up the actress pretty soon unless we unless we. Aren't like real stars than I. Think it's not even that huge of a clue here who the actors are Let's fair so you're going to be guess circulate. I'M GONNA while it's not well. I'm going to wait wait. So star number one for four points Patrick Bergin. Ashley. Holy, mother. Interesting. The more well known one. No, he's the. Goes lease known more well known that way. It's sort of build on it. Okay. Okay you're out shut up I. Know I just I think. Oh. I'm trying to remember who that dude is and I know it's not this movie. So this isn't my guess. Patrick Bergin is the guy a guy in sleeping with the enemy the bad guy. He was the husband boyfriend or whatever. Hey. And the next star and this little get you two points. Two full points. Sean Young. Oh. Interesting. Now this title. Words. Yeah. All right. In, sentence. I'll t two words. I'll give you two words. All right. I think I'm just GONNA guess. I'm going to say I'm just GonNa, say something totally generic. Blackmail now. Good good choice. To Andrew. Sean Young and Patrick Bergin. You'll never get it. Oh. No you. I looking at up on. Like I don't Eric you guess like totally nothing. Yeah I was just like. The fake issue sounding tiny thing blance sex crime. What's what's what's going to be? My guess was sex crime. Okay. Christie you have it or no Chris out no no. No. I'm just curious before see. He's still I'm out I wouldn't win it but we're we're all giving up at this point anyway. Yes. Is this fucking love. Crimes. Oh. Shit. He got it in. Love. Business.

"Real quick. Coming soon to theaters. Oh, we've got ourselves the VHS Gabe is happening. Again and What is happening? Explain on the While you were sleeping episode. We redid our VHS trailer game, which is a game that we used to play kind of casually whenever I had this movie on VHS enough people and I mean more than six where, like please make this a regular feature. So for those seven or people, we're doing this once a month going forward baby I just say I was choked on this beer when you said six people. This guy. because. So the way it's GonNa work this year I am looking at the schedule in advance I'm getting breaking my rule. My rule usually is I like to just get stuff from from what do you call it their thrift stores and fucking garbage bins. Okay. Well, you can't be going to those places with Cova Do. During the Bedbug Epidemic Christine I thought I thought your number one rule was that you wouldn't kill people. That's not two no one is I will not buy. But? No. What I'm buying now I'm Linda scheduling buying one episode of month. The movie on VHS and we'RE GONNA WE'RE GONNA go through. We're GONNA play this once a month and I'm GONNA keep score. What's going to happen at the end of this by the way at the end of the season, which will probably be in August? Yeah. The the we hate movies member. With the most points gets to use the WE HATE MOVIES What do you call their debit card and gets to go off on gets to go on cameo and gets to call gets to put in whatever they want for who for one cameo appearance we're talking a lot of people are on their Dolph Lundgren, Gary Busey and a lot of cool people. Dead celebrity like as well as Wally Sean. I would love it if while John I, a sensible of the tells he considers himself above cameo happy birthday not but he thinks he is but the idea is the winner gets to do this at the end of the season and we ought to hear it, and that winner could write whatever they want the celebrity to say they could trash talk their fellow opponents et Cetera or whatever they'd like to do. I love this idea. So we're GONNA I'M GONNA keep score here by the way going forward I'll be referred to as the game master during the See why you set this up. Just should be clear Steve You can't win fucking Jack Shit. I can't I'm the game Mastro above it. We'll say sometimes, there will be a guest on the guest will either feature as a spoiler. To take points away from these rotten sons of bitches turn or If somehow at the end of all this, which seems almost mathematically impossible if the guest team wins will have the guest be able to choose that we'll have some sort of poll to see which guests we want to be able to choose it. It's never going to happen. Don't worry about it. was going to say as of right now is not my wife Chelsea in the lead in this game. That's the autism. That's it. That's all. The garbage season ten, I forgot Chelsea through your points in the garbage if you're listening if you have if you have anything in your hand, just throw the trash, the way this is going to work. I'm going to give the first clue of every trailer is good to be the game masters clue that's going to be worth five points. I wish I wish we buzzer. buzzer degree. Finger on a fucking trigger. Oh, actually you know what guys we can do it in cast just click the raise your hand function and Steve All, you have to do is watch the screen names and see who raises their hand I. Okay. I can get into that. So this is GonNa work. But you can for every trailer, you get to get one guess. Okay. So then once you guess after the Game Masters Clue, you're okay. US A clue and then if no one gets it, you'll give us another clue exactly it's it's five points for the for the first one four points I will read you a piece of Tribune Trivia. ooh. And nobody gets it there for three points I'll read the IMDB tagline. Okay, okay. If I answer just off the first clue and I'm wrong I. Sit out that round until the next trailer then for number, and then for two points I'll give you one star. One Star of the film, and then for one more point I'll give you one final start obviously every single build on itself when you could probably get it by that point. So it's five, four, three, two one, and then if nobody gets it, nobody gets it. And there is a there is there are movies that I've never heard of which not that I have not seen the I've never heard of this movie. Yeah everything's worth. Double. How so? Steve I have to say, I, sincerely appreciate the thought that you've put into the. Idea yeah this is a pretty intense. Rules VHS for Ricochet House. It has how many trailers it's got three trailers. Great Question Eric. I'M GONNA TRY IF I don't want this to be the whole show. So there's like five trailers trailers. I'll call it down to three, but we'll try and keep it at around three trailers. By the way I tried to do this with toy soldiers but toy soldiers that don't fuck and. Trailers on a little shit. That's weird. By the way if any network execs are listening which I know you are this would be a great. You know no one wants to watch the prices right anymore. We WanNa talk about movies totally I don't need to guess the price of patio furniture. This is also a TV pilot go ahead Steve All right? So for the round one This the game masters clue for the first trailer because I'm the Game Master and gentlemen. Thanks for reminding me almost forgotten man that's a capital j. a. m. e. don't get funny game the WHO's talking you say j. a. m. e. I said I met Gee. I've had it early spelled the. Jam Master this is. Great. Sex I got the answer strawberry. Fuck faces here it comes. Sure. So, the first clue, the game masters clue for the first round is a buddy cop movie. We the show have passed numerous times because it's too racist to do. There's even the slur in the first line of the trailer. A I got Andrew I going to say collision course he's got. He's got five. Big Five points? Yes. Wow that fucking never happens to me. So that's pretty fun to that. First light of the trailer is some guy being. Who you are I speak your blank language on. In fucking trilogy I, lined fucking Christ that's one of the secrets we were announced on the air will never do that with do racist, but we can never do that movie..

And written by Steve. This. Is this is like the vendors of the expert debating up for we hate movies fans totally man this is like I think one of you guys maybe. This is our thesis. Mugging movie the cast alone by the way, we are thrilled to welcome our new member. Earl. Earl ahead Oh. Thank. You. Thank you for having me I. I love you fucking weird pseudo red crop top haircut. You have. Thank you the person at the Salon had to be eased into the idea. Only in the beginning of this fill. And this is this is an Olympic cow all-timer. It's like Denzel Washington Alzheimer in away. But this is a John Lithgow, all timer. He's on the ascent in the like like ham it up a roller coaster 'cause he's about to do raising Cain, which is just off the charts and he's already done blowout with. Seven years before this movie came out it's just full on like he's just getting the psychopath work. We did a psychopath we're going to lithgow all the time. So funny I mean for me, my understanding of John Lithgow started with third rock from the Sun me. To. Take the alien there with me too. But there was that cliffhanger in the background. Yeah. Hangar, until I was like an adult. So link the whole notion of this like Genteel Alien doofus character that I only knew lithgow as playing all of these crazy psychopaths is like mine kind of like to go out I, mean he's getting up there not that he's anywhere near the end, but I'd like to have one more psychopath performance from him. Yup Oh. Yeah. Just a fucking old lunatic. John Lithgow is rudy. Giuliani. He's about like two feet tall. fucking knees like like What's his face in? Moulin Rouge there. Eric don't say that Eric don't say that fucking SNL we'll do it. Of course just fuck it. Don't do it. You'RE GONNA wish it in John Leguizamo. Where we get started here. He's GonNa hit play.

I want you to cute every golfer on the course if I'm wrong, Sandy, But if I kill all the golfers, they're gonna lock me up. Throw away. The key Get called for a little brown furry rodents. We can do that. You don't even have to have a reason to do it Mind. Let's do the same thing. But with gophers something something Bob Knight would have done. Is this anything? Well, you know, I'm a big gulf guy Hammer. And from the time you're a little kid, if you go with someone responsible, they teach you always be aware on the golf course. The goal. Paul could come at you any time. They never say anything about bullets. Stray bullet ricochet off of a tree because somebody tried to cap a gofer or a ground hog. Now you tend to dispersal firearm in an open space Unless you're defending yourself. I get that a golf course is open, but I'm not sure if it's open enough to be shooting bullets. And how much of a threat is the ground hog that you need to shoot it right. It's like the old dude Ned from South Park That's coming. We got time for one more here. We talked about the Big 10 and football. They're only going to play conference games this year. This is on the heels of the Ivy League, cancelling all of their fall sports this year. They've decided to cancel football and all their other sports. Is this anything? Yes, because in the spring it was the catalyst for everybody else to do it. Member in the Ivy League canceled that postseason basketball terminar by LAPD Thie Ivy League They won't be in the terminal, and then everybody followed suit. And now we're seeing the Big 10. Making major changes. Rumors are the Pac 12 will be right behind them. And that is a huge deal. So yes, it's something because it's a catalyst to other things. One of the best tweets that I saw came from Lion Ted Ted Cruz. His verified account. He shared a story from the New York Post that said the Ivy League is canceling all fall sports, including football. Ted Cruz shares that story and says finally, Alabama has a chance. That's brilliant. If Ted Cruz have been the guy is now when he ran for president, he might have been the nominee. Well, let's talk about the guy that was running for the president while we go down great moments in Ted Cruz history here. I think this was the moment Rob That his campaign completely fell apart that basketball rain here in Indiana. It's the same height as it is in New York City and every other place in this country when he called it a basketball ring, and nobody calls it a ring. That's when the wheels fell off that basketball ring. And then he had some sort of weird response when asked about the difference between good case Oh, and bad case Oh, good case. Oh, Relaxes..

What allegedly happened next defense attorney Shipman says is the basis for the charges against them. It's alleges that a rouge threw a Molotov cocktail into a police car and empty police car. Essentially abandoned police car police car that had been previously vandalized. Two police officers were across the street They gave Chase and Rouge and Colin were arrested. The NYPD video apparently shows it all Rothman and that T shirt. Beige van slowing as it neared the police vehicle. The lighting of a toilet paper fuse the arc of a beer bottle as it crashed under the cruiser's dashboard. The whole episode lasted just seconds. Rahman and Mattis now face seven felonies in federal court. The charges include the use of explosives, arson conspiracy, the use of a destructive device, civil disobedience and the use of a destructive device in the furtherance of a crime of violence. This last charge alone, known as 9 24 C of the criminal code carries a mandatory minimum sentence of 30 years in prison. Add that to the other charges against them, and they could face life behind bars. Attorney Paul Shechtman represents a rouge Rockman and he says his client's case has been singled out ever since. It's been taken federally it has been treated with a seriousness. Ah, harshness unlike any I've ever seen. NPR reviewed 47 Molotov cocktail in arson cases filed across the country. That involved the destruction of police property. And this case to which prosecutors added 1/3 person, Rahman Mattis say they don't know is the only instance in which that 30 year mandatory minimum charge appears. Molotov cocktail cases are usually charged his property crimes in state courts. A spokesman for the U. S Attorney's office declined to discuss the case or they're charging decisions. Attorney General William Barr has been saying for weeks that extremists plotted the violence that erupted during the protests. And he said as much to NPR's Steve Inskeep in an interview last week when we arrest people in charge them at this stage anyway. We don't charge them for being a member of Antifa. We charge him for throwing a Molotov cocktail or we charge them for possession of a gun or possession of gasoline and things to make bombs with. Those are the kinds of charges that are filed. And while prosecutors haven't offered any evidence that Rothman and Madison, part of an extremist group You wouldn't know it from the way they were charged. Good afternoon. Your Honor, This is David Kessler. I'm in the U. S attorney in the Eastern District of New York. The harshness and the Rothman and Mattis case went beyond the charges. Prosecutors also fought their release on bail even though it was supported by two different judges. 56 former federal prosecutors found the government's position so alarming. They filed an amicus brief with the court. A panel of judges heard arguments last Tuesday and because of the Corona virus, all this happened over the phone. This is how it began. The District court's order releasing the defendant on bond should be reversed. And when I want to focus on here is the core issue the danger to the community government attorney David Kessler. This is not a case about a youthful indiscretion or crimes passion. It's about a calculated Dangerous crime committed by adults who risked the lives of innocent civilian first responders. Their crime is so serious, Kessler argued. It negates any mitigating factors that came before it. To throw that Molotov cocktail, he said, required essentially a fundamental change in mindset about for them. That's really what the core of the cases, Shenkman told the judges. Thie entire evening was an aberration. Here's their exchange. You can't imagine what a soldering event this arrest was. Mr Shipman. I can imagine how these people did what they're shown on video to have done. I find the whole case unimaginable. But having during that happened once I'm I'm wondering why it is so unimaginable that it wouldn't happen again. I think because that night Wass really unique. It was young people not just used to people out to protest police violence who saw more of it. Right one. Khun lose one sense on an evening like this. That argument appears to have convinced two of the three judges that Rockman and Mattis aren't a danger to the community. The judges said in an opinion yesterday that they agreed with the lower court that the pair could be safely released on bail. Rahman and Mattis were allowed to go home last night. In the months ahead, they have more than just the government charges to fight. They also have to battle the suggestion that they're mixed up in what theater knee general is called. A witches brew of extremists. Dina Temple Raston. NPR NEWS New York

"Ever, so it was a very startling for me to hear her respond that way. So I basically I guess what I would do. Is it just as individual that you're asking about or just in general that Ono I mean in general. You had mentioned that service. Dogs will reflect or anticipate like discomfort that they're. They're partner is feeling. What is an effective way of communicating to like co workers like? Hey, sometimes my dog may seem like it's not behaving like a service dog, but that's actually a way of communicating with me. I mean. Do they know what their service dog is four. People. No, I have PTSD. Okay so we just basically say this is the way my doc Munich's with me. It's not misbehavior because for me. I think this is one of the most important things that people need to know. Is Dogs don't misbehave? Sometimes of course ricochets dug up my whole yard, Zach Misbehavior. It's not actually because she's just releasing frustration from being in the House for two months whatever? So I don't believe dogs this behavior. I, believe every behavior dog does is purposeful. It means something. Now yes, sometimes, they're gonNA. Do something that we think is bad. But is it our fall that we should? We have not left the state on A. Coffee table whatever so I don't believe dogs misbehaving I would probably be the first thing I would try to communicate to them. Is that the Dog Zach? Misbehaving she's communicating. Because? That's what they really are. So what we do is humans is either redirect the behavior or correct the behavior to than the dog stops, and now they're not telling US anymore. So that's why I think when I say I really all dogs have the capacity. We don't let them have it. I mean I was doing the same thing for a year with rookie shares China something I wondered. Instead of listening to her, and she had way more than I could ever imagine that she was able to do. So I guess I would just say that. You think people think she's misbehaving such as your perception. I mean it might be a mixture of both I. mean the very nature of what Posey helps me with is my ability to manage. The social anxiety symptom of my post traumatic stress like I recognize that it's not denying incapable of engaging in social environments. I've always been very comfortable with that, but my responses to certain things can be different in so I. I recognized, and it's kind of hard to talk about it when they feel like. We haven't gotten to do as much service work. Over the last two to three months as we had leading into that, where basically from nine weeks old till now it's just been straight through training and develop a skill and then implement that skill, and then add another skill. But I guess at this point I'm more referring to like Joe..

"Realizing what birds were and she was chasing now with all the training of trying to get her to not chase birds, and so after her, not really cooperating anymore, birds I decided that choose probably not going to be a service dog in. It's really hard to see if once you put a lot of work in time into a dog. So I thought well. Maybe she could use some fund raising at the same time I knew a way at the time. He was fourteen years old and he was getting a service. Another organization that I work with called positive teams, and his name was Patrick so I thought okay. Well, maybe he's. Quadriplegic. He was run over by a car when he was. Fourteen months old, and Kim, Carter, page it because of that, so he was an adapted surfer, and that was Kinda my first introduction to adaptive surfing with with him so I a while. What I could probably do, we could raise some money for his his rehab and. He would go into therapy three times a week. So that's how it started out and So I thought okay. Will Ricochet was surfing at the same time I was training her rea-. Service Dog replaying around with surfing. Dog Surfing in southern CAL or in San. Diego actually was just at the starting time were just beginning so. She knew how to surf and That will deceive as adaptive server Shea served. What a great connection to do this fundraisers for my idea was to. If them both out in the water regime. Her Oregon Patrick on his and we sent my first press release I ever sent. To help Patrick raise money, so there were like. Four different news stations that came out there day in pursuit nervous I missed my exit twice, but anyway, so they had been surfing on their own board for a few waves, and that one point jumped off her board in onto. Patrick's so with ricochets idea to surf with someone who had a disability. And after that whole year that we were struggling, she was so excited it was like she was born again. Let us finally able to show me what she's on the first to jail, so she kept Brian back in the water that you would again and again yet, and she was so happy, so at that point I decided. Okay, I'M GONNA. Let you be who she is. I was trying to make something she wasn't. which was a service dog, and clearly she didn't want to help. Just one person wanted to help millions, so that's how it started. And yet it's been going ever since, and that was in two thousand nine, so it's. Twelve years tenure. Yeah bet eleven years. Yet I think I've we've seen some of those pictures. Possibly on the facebook page of her writing on the board was like A. Young Person's name Patrick Yeah it's really an inspirational story in this situation. See that now I know that didn't do well with the service training is she certified in anything else like is? We do not belong to the people who hurt us." | Chanel & Evan
"Evan Rachel Wood and she now Miller are known for delivering searing public testimonies of their personal experiences of sexual assault in two thousand eighteen. Evan Rachel would testify to Congress about her Harrowing Experience. A violent abuse a former partner. She did it to encourage lawmakers to implement the sexual assault survivors bill of rights across the country a couple of years prior Chanel Miller had addressed Stanford student who had sexually assaulted her in court directly. The speech ricocheted around the world. After it was published on Buzzfeed it was read more than eighteen million times on the news outlet and broadcast on CNN and in Congress both testimonies transformed the conversation around sexual assault cases in the US. They Sean a light on how our media an legal systems mistreat misrepresent and mishandled sexual assault survivors in this episode of Dare. I say Chanel and Evan. Rachel would talk about double standards in the Criminal. Justice SYSTEM ABOUT HANDLING TRAUMA ALONGSIDE. Intense public scrutiny. And about the high price that comes with naming your abuser or yourself. Chanel Evan Rachel. Wood are on a quest to make the media the law and society a kinder fair place for survivors of sexual assault. They are women who care. I think one of the scariest parts for me about coming forward with everything was a smear campaign or slander or someone trying to discredit my experience. Because it's very re traumatizing when that happens and I think because of experience while the abuse was happening in the press was so traumatic and no one knew I was being abused but they were calling me a whore and they were calling me crazy and they were calling me names before I'd even said anything and migrate is fear was when I said something all of that was going to repeat itself. I was really scared. I blamed myself because I was misbehaving quote unquote. Because I was doing things I wasn't supposed to. I was inappropriate. I was this I was that but none of that means that I deserved what happened to me and so I think it's important to say I'm not a perfect person. I haven't been a perfect person but no one has been but I know what happened to me and I'm very clear about that and very clear that it wasn't my fault and I'm very still scared to talk about it but I know that it's important because of this idea that you have to be this perfect being. That's never done anything wrong for anybody to take you seriously. Yeah I hate that. Credibility is never a given that it seems like it has to be earned that in order to earn a to prove that we can be level headed and obedient that we can maintain an even temperament even when we have every right to be angry for me throughout the court process. You doing stand up comedy to keep myself alive but I worried that if that got back to the courtroom they could use that against me to say. Look at her experiencing. How can a suffering person beginning up and immersing herself in laughter? That's extremely said to me that we have this expectation of how we must behave that looking like a victim has its own identity in another stunning thing is that. I was able to hide this for the last four and a half years so many of us are master's of concealing are stories much of the time being a victim means appearing completely ordinary. Were so good at pretending like nothing is happening like we can keep moving and functioning without missing a beat. I think every victim as soon as this happens you find ways to assign yourself blame. You can say I was drinking. It was my clothing. I was wearing a t shirt of his favorite band which might have been enticing in. We string them up on a little mobile and we sit beneath them and we watch it and we let it consume US and road us and meanwhile we don't assign blame to the source. We keep saying or assuming that you should be reacting a certain way even after an assault people think they would react differently in that situation or they don't understand why you wouldn't call somebody right away or why you wouldn't do you know in my case. The statue of limitations had run on my case I. I didn't report in time and a lot of people are very confused by how that could possibly be. You should go to the police right away but people just don't understand the process that you have to go through the fear that you have to go through the trauma that you have to work through. You know a lot of the times after a bodily violation victims may turn to toxic sex or drinking even more. Because you already feel like you've been deemed worthless or you feel like there are things inside you that you cannot tolerate in the only answer is to vanquish them or to punish yourself or to obliterate them in any way that you can and it's infuriating that we use that behavior as further proof that this is why she deserved it. We point to it and say we'll see. This is the kind of girl who happens to when really the root of it is. The violence itself is not her. Flaws is not her misguided judgment. It's the violence that prompts this behavior and we have to acknowledge that both Chanel and Evan Rachel. Wood are committed to using their platform in privilege to fight for the rights of sexual assault survivors. Snell's memoir was published in the fall. It advocates for more sympathetic response to cases of sexual violence. Evan Rachel Wood has just wrapped up a you. Long fights improve the sexual assault law in California. Thanks to her campaign. The state has officially extended the state statute of limitations on domestic violence cases survivors. Now have a five year window to report abuse to the police. This law is called the Phoenix Act after the mythical animal that rises from the ashes of its predecessor.
When Healthy Eating Goes Too Far
"Going Vegan Veggie. You simply eating more veggies can all be healthy lifestyle choices but if doing so gives you. Zayed he about hanging out with friends makes you fear certain foods. It can actually be quite dangerous because yes being to healthy can actually be unhealthy for some restrictive. Eating is a short live stage that ricochets into a junk food rebellion for others. They find their way back to the middle of the road. But for some money the so called healthy way of eating can become a true obsession and at its most extreme. An eating disorder known as author. Xia this week's food for thought explores when healthy becomes unhealthy with Dr Nikki Stump Surgeon TV presenter and author of pretty unhealthy. Helen Nikki. Hi Thank you for having me. Really Nice debate here per exciting. I am beyond excited. I think since receiving your book getting to read it in being completely inspired and upset fully instagram Graham Wall. And just seeing what you've been getting up to you it's a pleasure to have you in the. Uk's at thank he owner thank you. I think we'll start with whether someone who's we'll go right him. Web someone's been diagnosed with an each use solder or slightly lesser degree. All serve preoccupation of being unhealthy. One is that unhealthy the occupation of being too healthy. Yeah I think that's a really good question because I think you've kind of alluded to it. Then you in in that question that use. You're walking a fine line. It's it's It's very easy to step from one thing to something that is is not so great for you. So you know. It's reasonable to be conscious and observant. About what you ate and making sure that you're exercising not smoking and drinking and all those kinds of things that's important but then when you get really caught up in it to a point where it is impacting your mental health. Your physical health. Your social well-being forget about that. A Lot. That's why. I think we start to get into territory where you are you looking at something. That's possibly not that good for you. You'll completely right the so many factors involved. I think for anyone to just identify acknowledging themselves. I'm not quite happy right. Now is quite a big step because often people in this country. We still have a thing as what at the moment weight is often seen as such a defining health. I don't know what your thoughts are. Matt Yeah I think white is is not going anywhere as as something that people Reach full particularly In an instant to to make a judgment about their own health or somebody else's health but it's really just not that simple econ deny that in some situations in some circumstances. Some people yes. Your weight is a factor in that can be at either end as well But I think that to look at someone and say Oh look at yourself and say I'm unhealthy because of I figure on the Sky Oh That's not rise. It doesn't really have have the support that we think it does. Yeah I think so. We use Via Mind it. It's so tricky because I got a lot of clients coming in clinic saying all the doctors told me. I'm just above the BMI. Actually have any health problems yeah so I mean BMI. I think is rightly criticised and analyze. And I think that if you're applying it to an individual it's a tool that has very little use if you're applying it to screen someone so looking for problem if you're applying it to perhaps population level or re as a research tool that has validity. But you know I think one of the things that people don't always understand about science and research and medicine and so on and so forth is that you know our tools always in perfect and one of the things that makes perfect is the way that we use them. So if we use be my willy nilly then yeah it's not. It wasn't designed for If we use it to look at an individual in front of us and decide if they're healthy that's wrong but if you're using it for the things that's been designed for it has some Information giving capability. And that's where we need to be using it I completely agree. It's just a wider understanding because things can be taken so literally all the time. Want to believe in one number having the solution or absolutely everything without simple you can be over way to be very fit. Yeah absolutely I you know. One of the things that is important in your health is not necessarily that defined. Yes Oh no I'm I'm above or below a number It's actually what you do and we know in particularly for women that no mash. They're they're they're white so their their body composition that if they live a healthy lifestyles in they take all the boxes for nutrition darn smart etcetera that they have a very significant health benefit. So I I'm I've really moved away from from that kind of thinking that you know. We have to get you to a low beam. I will take into account solely secretly with my patients. I'm very focused on what they're doing. Now I'm just trying to get them to to be. Active for example is is just one simple thing that's so refreshing into comfortable adult as well because this is something that unfortunately we see such a lot of this country because medics in this country. Don't get enough nutritional education. Yeah lifestyle education and to hear you say that is wonderful. Yeah even with that in mind. I'm just one piece of the puzzle. You know so if I identify that someone Is is needing some help. With what eat or exercise you reach for your for your experts. Now I'm sure like like the NHL. We're pretty eater stretched with results. So you know. It's not always easy to do that. And I. I think that doctors should be able to give out the basics just like You know my allied health colleagues give out the basics of what I do as well you know. We all work in this together by. I think it is time to to sort of change up our thinking and the way we give advice across the board. Yeah completely. I think is often a misconception. As well that it's all about overeating Ashley. You can be overweight and be quite malnourished as well. Connie that for me. I don't think people realize no and I think the way to to look at this is to Magin if you are overweight and you your diet consists less assay solely of takeout food so that that's all you rating by doing that by eating that very Calorie dense food You are unfortunately missing out on a lot of nutrients So for example you know are based on our. That's a word that is very loaded by mere medically speaking someone who paps has a extra white in the medical complications of it they can be still lacking in in Macronutrients. They can still be lacking micronutrients. you know so. It's not that straightforward to say to say that all that they're very well nourished nor that actually might not be exactly. You can be both ends of the spectrum I said and be completely malnourished. Do you see this getting worse and Western society off. I mean that's sort of what the data suggests you know so if you look at you know. Uk Australia us now. We're all fairly on power. We have pretty similar Spectrum of issues I think health issues and outside of the sphere of food and weight and so on and so forth with pretty similar and I. I do think that that it is the all of these things are increasing And then not just about US eating too much You know all of these choices that we might happen in a system. That is designed to make eight to macho exercise too little. I mean near tobacco. Advertising is literally designed to get. You know it's you know we're not we're not failing ourselves we are filed by system at lodge.
3 Types of Theology
"In church. History there are basically only three types of theology. Well that's what Dr Scroll said. And he went on to identify these three types of theology ass Augustinian Azeem Palladian ISM and semi plagiarism. So what are we talking about here? Well to understand what is at stake here. In this statement of identifying these only types of theology we have to go back to the fore tends and the issue is of course. Agustin's teaching of Adam and Adam's sin in its connection to us and the challenge of that teaching by a monk named Pelagia sees from the British isles but he was rather peripatetic. He made his way to Rome. And then as the visigoths were making their way to Rome he went to Africa and then from everyone even to the Middle East. But we're in the four tens and the issue is that palladium denied the transmission of Adam's sin. He believed that Adam wasn't example for us. But that was the extent of the connection. So we are not born centers in fact we are born with the ability to sin and we were born with the ability to choose God and to assert our will to do good and to be good of course the GUSTON ATTACK. This and he spent much energy in the four. Twenties refuting Jesus and some of his key disciples in four thirty one at the Council of Ephesus Pelagia. Sin His teaching and some of those prominent disciples were condemned. But that is not at all the end of the matter. So what happened next? Well the issue was the degree to which Agustin's refutations of pelagia accepted in other words. Here comes in that third type between a Guston and play. Jesus we have the semi Palladian view and this would go not only through the five hundred but would go right on down even to the present day the allergy. Well when we're talking about the semi Palladian view the issue is what is the full effect of Adamson on humanity. Does Adam leave us sinful but yet the will is still free to choose in the will can. In fact choose it can choose to send or not to sin and it can choose God not God that in a nutshell is semi plagiarism. Now some folks will say well. That's semi Augustinian. Ism Right so the question of is the glass half wars the glass half empty or you might say have. I lost a sock or have I gained despair. But it's that halfway house of not accepting what PELAGIA was up to but not wanting to go fully with what Augusta was saying so. We are right back. Aren't we to the issue of original sin? Well look at this issue. This doctrine of original sin. It has two dimensions. I it has the fall. That is Adam's fall in the garden that historical event or Adam violated God's command plunged himself and all of his posterity into sin and so rigid sin teaches that all of the sons and all of the daughters of Adam and eve that has all of humanity are born with an innate moral corrupt sin nature. They don't become centers when they said they are sinners and because they are centers they in because we are centers. We send an Augusta further concluded that we are dead in thin and so God must work in us. I in order to save us from our sin but again that strikes. Some in many actually as problematic as denying moral accountability is denying responsibility. And so the introduce this idea that the will is free and we have more liberty and we can choose to send or not to send and that is ricocheted through the centuries of the church came up again and the reformation and in the post reformation era so there you have it. The three types of Theology Augustinian ISM salvation is a work of God alone. Plagiarism Salvation is all about human effort. It's the assertion of the human. Will we have the wherewithal to be good and to do good? It SMACK DAB. In the middle is that semi plagiarism. Salvation is cooperative. Work God in Maine working together. Well those are the three types of theology.
Coronavirus Whistleblower Doctor's Death Sparks Anger in China
"Li Wen Liang a thirty three year. Old Doctor in Wuhan died yesterday. He was initially reprimanded for warning about the new corona virus this before he eventually contracted it himself. Are Deputy China Bureau chief. Josh chance has been following the story so Josh can you tell me more about him. How did he see? I come to attention right so Li it was almost totally unknown before. The outbreak happened in Wuhan and he came to attention engine because it emerged that he was one of several doctors who had gotten in trouble early on in the outbreak. Break out before people knew how serious it was for disseminating information about it and he came out and basically revealed that that he had been criticized by his hospital and by the police for talking about this and then was later infected while treating a patient which proved that it had. The virus was transmitted between people. which at the time officials had not yet admitted so he became famous as example of how? Oh the government and the government in Wuhan was not being forthcoming with information. You save famous. What do you mean I will? He did an interview with the Beijing. Can you daily Communist Party run newspaper fairly early on allowed sort of late last month and that blew up because it revealed the efforts to control information or or cover up information about the seriousness of epidemic. When Oliver ricocheted ashamed all over social media and he sort of instantly became this folk hero especially after people realised that he he also himself contracted the virus? What's been the reaction to his death? It's been unbelievable. It's been you know everyone who is on social media in China is talking about this. Hundreds of millions of posts and people are really the sad. They're angry and I haven't really seen anything quite like this. For many many years in China where you have almost everyone sort of united in a single feeling in the sense of frustration and anger like this. And what has the government said in response to this outpouring is so the government response has been a little bit inconsistent and confusing which which is sort of in keeping with their response to the outbreak. In general so late last night state media on twitter the war among the first people do report that Lee had died. they called him a whistle blower And we're sort of honoring him and then and later as it became less clear of whether he had he'd actually died Whether you know when the hospital was saying that they were still trying to save him State media then took out its posts We heard that Propaganda Department in Beijing at order journalists not to report on his death and they were trying to control it. It seems like Lee's death is a catalyst for a lot of frustration that people have in China about the government's government's response to this new corona virus. Is that right. I think that's exactly right. I think Lee has That is really sort of unleashed a lot out of the pent up frustration. That people have felt about the way the government has handled this in particular its lack of transparency in its in its failure would be forthcoming about. Just how how dangerous. This virus was the fact that it was Transmitting between people much earlier than than everyone was aware. And so you know I think eight people feel like the sense of betrayal. You know one of the things. They've been saying online with regard to lease. There's a saying Chinese. You can't let the person who goes out

El Paso shooting suspect charged with capital murder
"And I'm David green in el Paso Texas a normally humming border city that took a severe blow on Saturday with a mass shooting that police are now treating as domestic terrorism in the morning as many parents were shopping for back to school supplies a gunman opened fire at a Walmart killed twenty people he left twenty six injured police believe he is the author of a racist manifesto posted online detailing his reasons for carrying out this attack he has now been charged with capital murder we begin our coverage with journalist Monica or tease or Rebay who is covering the story here in her hometown she joins us here in el Paso and I want to thank you for taking the time and for your work on this you're welcome David I'm what what are you hearing what should we know this Monday morning well we're beginning to know more about the families impacted there's so many heart wrenching stories one of them is a mom who died seemingly shielding her two month old infant from the gunman among the injured or three soccer coaches who were fundraising at the Walmart for their youth team in the hospital lobby yesterday a local pastor Michael Grady he's a former president of the el Paso and double ACP he broke down into tears as he hugged the county judge who was there visiting with the families I'm here today because my daughter Michelle Elise gravy was coming out of Walmart and was shot three times by a madman Michelle just turned thirty three do you live the he laughs Michelle was about to go into her second surgery when her father and I spoke he tells me bullets hit her hand and her back another ricocheted through her pelvis she's the second of three sisters and works helping military vets access there medical benefits he's just a beautiful beautiful a dog and we love her and we're praying again for divine intervention and we're mixing face and medicine together sold its hopefully she will be able to recover well hoping so it's a vision might make it but a lot of families in this position this morning I just wanna orient us like we're we're talking this morning from an upper floor in a hotel in in downtown el Paso which we can see the lights of Mexico from here this is a border community I mean this is a tragedy is affected people in two countries on both sides of the border yes so as of Sunday night Mexican officials announced that seven Mexicans are among the dead I spoke with the brother in law a forty one year old I have in mind sinal who was one of the victims I've been sold medical supplies in neighboring see the point is and he leaves behind a wife and nine year old son and a five year old daughter he's among the many many Mexican shoppers who contribute to the local economy on a daily basis of the Walmart is a quick fifteen minute drive from the border and walking into that store you immediately get a sense of the bilingual bicultural character that is all Paso when the what are we learning about the the shooter here well the suspect is a twenty one year old white male authorities are looking into a manifesto possibly linked to him that indeed expresses anti immigrant sentiments and refers to the quote Hispanic invasion of Texas this man is from a suburb outside Dallas the FBI believes he acted alone and he's currently booked into the county jail without bond facing a charge of capital murder I I know it it has to be an experience took to cover something like this in your hometown you know as we reported here together before on on immigration issues just reflect on this as as a resident of someone who who knows passes so well gosh well I mean I think I'm myself just as much as everyone else is trying to do our best to to hold it together and into our jobs I mean el Paso has had to show a great deal of resiliency lately it's been at the receiving end of thousands of central American migrants are fleeing poverty and violence and by and large the community has responded in the same way to both situations humanely last night el Paso wins gathered for an interface visual the vigil they delivered food and water to one of the ER's treating patients as well as to law enforcement out working the Walmart crime scene since Saturday a local fundraisers razor his raised at least two hundred fifty thousand dollars to aid those impacted by the shooting and in fact that figure is probably a lot higher by now journalist Monica or to use a rebate joining us and passes when Monica thanks for all your work we we really appreciate it sure thing David I want to turn now to the mayor of describing city DiMarco has been the mayor of el Paso for two years after serving the Texas house of representatives and joins us on the line mayor I I know how busy you are we're all thinking about your community right now and thank you for for taking a few minutes for us sure how have you been been spending your time since the tragedy who have you been speaking with and and what can you tell us to give us us some sense of understanding of of what's communities going through well first of all we had a briefing from our a and R. fusion center which is where the police in our office of emerging management monitors things up at the full briefing on on this particular individual who in my estimation is nothing but pure evil and you know on and his Missy there's diatribe related to where we will I've said on number of occasions I was at the interface service last night I was at the hospital yesterday I met the two and a half month old little boy who lost his mother protecting him right and I understand later is also lost his father this is a tragedy that that's just totally unnecessary it will not the final class so we are unique region people cannot understand what our region is like until they come here and we've been one region by national park cultural three hundred and fifty years a hundred years before the United States was even formed and we're at the we're region of two and a half million people and we are not going to let this defiance where does the investigation stand as of this morning if if you could update us well the break and I had the last week and I had was yesterday afternoon at all the attorney general's office is one pocket crimes against it which also is subject to the death penalty and in Texas we're going to file capital murder charges against him which is subject to the death penalty as well I think he's a coward a minute ago is pure evil you would never I have I do not believe the the trader would have ever originated in el Paso which not us our culture to our nature and it's just a tragedy that we will recover from but I'm not sure we're gonna finish or actually really start the recovery until we get through to the twenty funerals we know we're going to have to go through the next couple weeks how do you even prepare for that twenty funerals that then I'm sure you'll be you'll be trying to attend as many as you can I don't know this is something I don't believe any mayor could ever prepare for I don't think that there's a handbook for that irrespective of the of the incidents that occurred in the past I certainly wasn't prepared for that brother thanks thank goodness our police department was prepared for active shooters I mean they they got a call at five thirty at ten thirty nine in the morning they were there at ten forty five and eleven oh six he was apprehended we are one of the safest city in the nation we will remain one of the safest cities in the nation we will not let this stopper and as I said it will not to find it younique younique region and we will continue and pursue their this this angry Streeter manifesto that the attacker you know suppose we posted on online sets among other things that that his actions were response to an invasion of Texas by Hispanic immigrants the the hate in that document how surprised are you did did did you know that this kind of hate is is out there I probably a new it but now I've not been confronted by it I did read is that Dr I hate filled the machine baby if that is it I don't I you know I can't put my arms around it I'm not a psychologist or psychiatrist I don't know what's driving that but it's not what el Paso was about yeah we're we're eighty four percent or eighty five percent Hispanic but we're we're probably people cannot get over house Brinley and how how family oriented we are as a regional minimum wage I say were region two and a half million people in our everyday just thirty two do you do you think I am he deserves the death penalty if if if there's a trial that happens in at least that way I would say at this juncture he should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law and if that is the end result so be it we also spoke with the mayor of Dayton Ohio if this morning I mean it's it's it's stunning that another mayor in another city is going through a mass shooting this weekend she said it's time for people in Washington to take action on gun control at how do you respond to that well something's got to be done and it's one of my is a good friend of mine we both talked yesterday morning kitchen may condolences and I called ruptured wait a minute I need to offer you the sign and I'm sorry that we're both caught up in this together and and identified as such but you know it it's it's there's a whole lot to to our to what's going on in in America at this time and and we've got a we're gonna have to deal with it at all levels mark Trammell genre Margot is the mayor of el Paso Texas city recovering from a massacre over the weekend at

"The hope is it will have them if not today. Then monday. Okay. Now, do you think RJ, do you think that your RJ brother RJ Barrett, was wearing pink and black because of Bret Hart last night? I may have something to do with it. Thank you be quite a moment j Barrett. The hitman. Oh my God, that was horrible RJ, bur. You know what? Michael Kay MC that same joke later today. Please do fantastic way. Let's make it a thing. Our keep relative states championship, Matt Samoa. Joe verses ricochet, Samoa Joe and ricochet. We were talking about Mazdas and bad acid that need to get wins. And as much as we love ricochet this needs to be one of those matches where he tries to fly around the ring. He gets plucked out of the sky thrashed because we need to be reminded who Samoa Joe is. I'm going with some. Oh, Joe, don't think they're going to do that. But I still gonna go, they're gonna go ricochet. It's interesting. You watch richocheting what you hope he doesn't get is the treatment that Joe got which like you show up and you're a big deal and everybody likes you. And when does it really means something? So for that to happen ricochet has to get wins this title would make sense for him. A win over some. Oh, Joe is is, is reasonable. And though I wish it started with Samoa Joe beating him down. More in him. Eventually overcoming Samoa Joe right? My guess is we won't get that we'll just get richocheting win. And then Samoa Joe trying to get back against him. But I'm gonna go see us. Ogle ricochet, geographically, though, isn't this a step down for Ricky shea 'cause he was just North American champion every now is United States. Greg. You're three for three on may Maget for that one. I'm gonna give Mitch moving right along role women's championship. Becky Lynch, verses Lacey. Evans. By the way, we haven't really discussed what the hell is Becky talking about when she implies the things about being willing to do whatever it takes backstage. What you know, becky's doing welcome to shoot. Yeah. Davies get warmed up for the next of his chip. Okay. Okay. For sure. But, but yeah. I don't know where she's going when she says, all that, like, that's it has it has totally rings of Bret Hart, having sunny days, definitely does. She keeps going there and the sort of fortunate though too. Right. Because when she branded herself the man, she was embraced, as like a feminist icon. And now she's calling other girls hose basically. Yeah. Slept on way to the time she's next week. Becky to come out with the whole train..
BP chief backs shift towards renewable energy
"Choo investor resolutions at BP's annual meeting, and Abidine this week, shade high pressure is building on oil companies to take action on climate change political discusses, how the oil companies are responding with Angela Weaver, and blessing hook. Up already the way. People around the work for her life. At the same time, Harmon emissions need to come out at a much faster pace that is seeking. That more energy emissions dot is to charge. That was Helga loaned, the chairman of BP outlining the company's commitment to transitioning to a low carbon energy system at their AGM in Aberdeen. This week shareholders had to climate change resolutions to vote on an epidemic. Edgeley. You were up there what happened. So everyone was waiting for these two resolutions to come up for debate. Now, one was backed by p and brought forward by climate action. One hundred plus which is an initiative, led by group of investors, and they were calling on BP to demonstrate how its business strategy aligns with the Paris climate goals. And now the second resolution was proposed by follow this dodge shareholder group, and essentially this one was different because not only was it calling on the P to set targets for its carbon emissions going forward. But these targets also should include those of. Of its products, so essentially, the emissions of its consumers, and that's essentially what shall has done. That's what shall has agreed to do. Right. But in this case, BP management back the climate action one hundred plus resolution but not the other one. Why was that BP claims that the follow this resolution would not allow for flexibility through the energy transition? They say we don't know what this energy transition is going to look like we don't want to put hard targets are legally binding on ourselves or on our consumers who's use of our products, we can't control. That's what they say. And does that sound like a reasonable explanation to you? So this is where it gets very interesting because most climate activists and increasing the investors say that these emissions from the use of the products are essential to accounting for how we really progress through this, energy transition and oil and gas. Companies must be held accountable for these emissions now. I do have some sympathy for oil and gas companies in the sense that they don't know what this energy transition looks like, however, most people, I speak to you think that BP right now is in the same position that shell was in a few years ago. And at some point they too would also have to include these emissions in some way into their forward-planning. Leslie, do you have any sympathy with bay pays position. I don't know about sympathy, but I think it is hard to account for the emissions of your consumer. So I can see the sort of legality of that narrow argument. I think what's been really interesting, though, is something that Angela is actually written about, which is where the RND dollars are going for these companies, although BP has started talking a lot more about climate change. And they've certainly made it a sort of headline item on their agenda there. Aren. These spending hasn't really followed. Those words. Yes. Exactly. And even in. The opinion piece that Helgoland wrote in the F T, and in his public comments it a, he's very clear that BP's also going to have to transform its business. But what does this look like it's unbelievably murky, we have no idea is he talking about increasing our independent low-carbon fuels and technologies is he talking about shifting towards renewable? It's not entirely clear. What this means in the BP context, and this is what investors really are trying to gain some more clarity on a lot of these invested discussions with the companies have essentially been company led. It's what the companies are comfortable with talking about BP's, not committing to a particular direction. They say we've been there before, under the John Brown era petroleum beyond petroleum. They invested huge amounts in renewables. And they ended up losing a lot of money. And so this was the point that Helga loons made at the GM, as well as in the opinion piece, which is that we want to be. An investable company and I think that was his way of saying, we need to keep on investing in oil and gas. And there is a real dichotomy there because ultimately BP makes money from selling fossil fuels calls emissions, and they don't really know how they will make money if they stop doing that. So I sort of get the sense that, while there's a lot more talk about it. There's not a clear answer of where revenue is going to come from if they're no longer selling fossil fuels on the other hand, you've got companies like shell and hotel. You know, the really going out there saying, we're investing in not just gasp, renewables and renewable power. And this is all feature. But most analysts who look at the sector and even the executives themselves will say to the margins here, incredibly low compared to is stark and traditional businesses. But also, we don't really know what this is going to look like for us. And this is the point BP's trying to make, which is we're not going to go down that path blindly again. Just taking a punt on the huge amounts of pressure from every. Body in terms of crime activists, and the investors who want this investment into the cleaner fuels business and into renewables. I mean Greenpeace this week, blockaded BP's entrances. I was going to ask you about that it was quite an extraordinary defection even for Greenpeace because they actually stopped staff going into BP headquarters Ryan, where it's quite interesting to compare that to the shell AGM which was happening on the same day over in the Hague. And apparently, there were very few protests or any sort of action going on over there, certainly nothing, like staff being stopped from getting into buildings and things. And do you think that that's because shell has been clearer about its determination to invest in renewables, and lower carbon forms of energy, then B P so far? And do you think that BP is worried about that? And that's why it took the steps that it did this way. I think BP's just a different point than shell shell faced this kind of backlash Affi years ago. Let's also remember. That shell is very much a dodge company and this huge amounts of domestic pressure. And this is now only ricocheting around the world, you know, to all the European companies as well as US counterparts, but, you know, the protesters this week were saying to be, you must shift all your investment into renewables, or go bust, but it's not entirely clear if that's the strategy. Yeah. And this is just the latest example we've seen of shareholders, trying to pressure oil and gas companies and indeed coal companies to disclose more about the future plans and targets and investments and talk more about the financial and physical risks that they might face by climate change. Ultimately, do you really think this is going to shift the dial? When it comes to lowering global carbon emissions through the investors say, there's a sort of a three pronged approach here. The first is to get these companies to be more transparent. Then it's to get them to set tie. Targets on their emissions and then the third bit of this strategy is to shift their investments towards cleaner fuels cleaner energies into ready. Get a handle on the investment component here, but it's not clear to me, how long that is going to take an if these companies are going to agree to shift the businesses in a meaningful way. And there's also just a place devil's advocate. I think there is a real question about what is the company's responsibility versus the government's responsibility? Where does the role of policymakers and business leaders begin? I mean at time when we're seeing global emissions still rising. The world is not on track to meet the Paris climate goals. A lot of that is due to government inaction as well as what companies are doing. We've seen that globally, governments haven't really stepped up to make the types of commitments that they would need to live in a two degree world, which then sort of empowers the companies to say, well, if the governments haven't figured this. Out, then why is that our job? So I can sort of see their twenty few in that way, would sort of just make two further points, which is that let's be clear. The world is still using huge amounts of oil and gas will using one hundred million barrels a day of oil. So from the company's point of view, if the demand is there, at least for now, why would they pull back that's the first point? And the second point is that, you know, to what extent can these companies really transition? Yeah. Just finally one way that the oil majors trying to prove that this series of crime. It changes by making these big investments in renewable energy. We saw one of those this week lately that you wrote about that actually shows that this getting quieter crowded field. Yes, we've just seen two of Europe's largest utilities g of France and EDP of Portugal tie up all of their offshore wind assets, which is going to create a bit of an offshore wind behemoth. An already we've seen a former oil and gas company known as Dong become or stud. It's now the world's largest offshore wind developer, and we do see more and more traditional energy companies, try and go that direction the company, formerly known as Stott oil now Ecuador, it also has a growing offshore wind business, so there is some indication that the traditional energy companies are really pushing in that direction although globally last year. What was very striking is that we had some numbers out a couple of days ago from the. A that suggested total global investment in clean energy. In fact fell a little bit last year. Despite the surge of interest from European energy groups, the global picture is still not quite as rosy. Thank you, Leslie, and angelie. That was police Clark took into a senior energy. "ricochet" Discussed on The Wade Keller Pro Wrestling Podcast
"But this definitely is on the list of potential best matches of the weekend for both the rumble and annex t takeover. I'm really looking forward to this. And it's I think a big test for ricochet to be against somebody of Gargano stature in the ring as a worker to in a WWE environment, not have Garganas personality and cachet with the fan base override ricochets person ricochets act, which is typically more based on the flashing athleticism than the personality, but he's been coming along that respect. So I'm looking forward to it from kind of character journey standpoint. In addition to just being a great match. Yeah. I'm with you one hundred percent. And I'm optimistic about it mainly because of what happened between race. Shane Adam Cole because I think you said the same thing would regain Adam Cole in that takeover match. And I feel like ricochet came and tremendously long way just in that one match alone. Like, I think you start to look at that character differently based on how he interacted with Adam Cole. I also think that him getting his character across has come a long way on TV since the last takeover. I think that he feels like he's becoming much more comfortable portraying ricochet through the microphone and not just through the aerial moves and stuff, which I think is going to be the key to register as long term success. You know, I love that the Johnny Gargano, you know, Johnny takeover thing is like flirting with this kind of he'll thing even though realistically, the reason that that's even a storyline is because it's true that that's that's been the. Reaction that Johnny Gargano whether it's with Allistair or whether it's within dry day, or whether it's with ciampa, he is the guy that consistently has match of the night on shows that are shows of the weekend, these takeovers, so I agree. I feel like ricochet. Has this motivation to rise to the occasion every single time? And I think I think that Ricky Jay probably, you know, in real life is aware what the potential of this match is. And I think I my feeling is that he's in a place in his career where he wants to take advantage of that. Ricochet was a guy who I don't think. People feared would have the best matches on the weekend events the quote with a question with him. I think was going to be willy find that personality that lane to drive in a WWE environment as a promo and as an as a character who will fans know who he is in what he's about. How do you think he's coming along in that regard? As not just a good looking guy with a good physique. Who's just incredibly exciting. Dazzling of the ring in terms of his move set. How is he in terms of getting fans getting to know him? I think he's doing way better than when he started. You know, I think it the promos between him and Gargano are actually what's made me interested in the match. And that's that's the first time that I could say that to it's made me interested in ricochet matches in t-, you know, like with Adam Cole. I was more interested in just the idea that these two styles. We're going to mix. What what happens when these to get in the ring like that's what interested me about that match. But it wasn't. Oh, yeah. Ricochet said this on TV and Gargano responded with that. So it's making me it's I'm invested in that storyline going into this match. And I think you know, the episode that really hooked me was ricochet getting leaving the building. And it sure it was kind of untucked, and and they followed him outside. And and you know, all of a sudden ricochet wasn't that nice of a guy anymore? Like ricochet felt like he had been slighted and felt like there was a level of respect that wasn't paid to him by Gargano. And it was like the first time. There was a pushback from a character standpoint that I believed and that that to me was like, wow, I didn't even realize that that element was.

In a good way and just, you know, I think that might be the last thing you need is to just fully understand what what he can do and then verbalize that good dude looking forward to see where he goes really looking forward to that match between him. Adam Cole, I have Antic both both talented guys and of his, he'll integrate show. And you know, I think the skies over and we, we know his physical capabilities and what kind of town isn't. He seems to be very aware of and wanting to improve and other areas. And I think that's a great sign for a guy like him that probably could he so talented. So physically gifted, he probably could get by and have a great career just on that alone. But one. The an all around type performer, and I think that's a, that's pretty, you know, it's pretty pretty smart them. Yeah, and sitting under the knowledge tree of a guy who could have done the same thing himself but didn't and in John Michaels. So you know, and at fifteen years into a career and having already made an impact in in carved a quite a significant niche for himself it. It's refreshing to hear that. It's like, okay, I could've taken new Japan money and Luciana grant money. But instead I wanted to go to annex t because this this to me was the the place to do it. So yeah, yeah, big ups.
