"You know where you're becoming a channel for the healing energy as a whole. So it's the. ability or option for you happen to be able to channel this ricky energy, and then you'll be able to give ricky to yourself or anyone else for the rest of your life. It's really like the magic hands process. So once you're attuned, you're tuned forever every tune meant always works It works one hundred percent of the time is what they say but really is just something that's really beautiful even for people that are interested in this to do some research, find an amazing healer teacher. And just get attuned to the life force energy to heal yourself and that was something. I really found a helpful after the first assignment was using reiki healing for healing myself. So this meant for me in particular healing, my heart, you know when I was. So desperately trying to open my heart over beano that year or so when I first started to work with a high energy, I was healing myself quite a bit and I was really working on my chalker system so I would go. On my third I, if I felt like I needed clearing or you know my solar plexus, if I need a little bit of confidence or self assuredness and really just working on body parts that I felt like really needed it and then the second attuned process. So if you go from one to two is really allowing you to perform distance or absentee ricky, which allows you to send the energy through space and time anywhere. So this level is really considered the practitioner so it allows you to charge. For Your achey services if that is something you're interested in beyond this point. So what allows you to do the distance or absentee ricky training through the use UI process of Ricky is understanding certain symbols that you can apply when you're doing absent or absentee or distance raking, and that was something you know when I first started to get into the space. I'm like, okay. I can understand if they're in the room with me but like how does that work f they're like on a zoom call? You I'm like I. It's like I think just wild things and I understand so many wild things. But like even that I'm like when he mean hundreds of work, but it really is like again. You being your own healer the healer is the catalyst the space and intention is part of that catalyst and. Trust and understanding that universal life force energy is available to us at any time and place, and this is you know with these symbols, the encouragement of these symbols that you learn through your training, you're able to give this person you know the distance absentee ricky? Anytime. Anywhere. So. And if you were to move onto level three, you are. Able to channel, even more RAKIA energy, open yourself up to another level of healing, which is what I really experienced. I'm the master level ricky symbol you are given that, and then through this one, it is really like the most spiritual the tournaments. So you know what they say is that your first assignment so level one is physical a physical feeling or a physical clearing that happens level two is the mental one, and then level three is the most spiritual. We're so excited. One of our very own in our almost thirty nation community has done it and created an amazing product that gives back. "So. I learned about Ricky from Charleston. Sweet mom had that first action which was amazing. But also hilarious because I had no idea what I was doing and then moving to La when I was introduced to Milana I had such profoundly transformational sessions together with her where the first time I did So. We I think we Matt Os. We met at summit. So we met at summits I was with our friend. And I laid down for my healing I was in a room with two hundred people and somehow this magical woman was able to get to everyone and I remember her touching my heart and I cried for three days straight after that healing it was like. I didn't know it didn't really I didn't put it all together because they didn't know that there are times in which you receive Reiki healing when you have these like energetic clearings or these releasing or these sheddings that happen. So I honestly was like Oh man I'm having another episode like here I am I was trying to be a normal person crying everywhere I went to the gym and I was on the stairmaster and I'm like leaning over the stairmaster trying to use the least energy possible but still be on the stairmaster. So everyone you know. So I'm like checking off my box of being on the stairmaster. And balling. I'm like bawling my eyes on everyone's like Dude Chic Okay Hey. Is She. Ok and you know I wasn't at that time. But after I spoke with Melania nate checked in and I was like, Hey, I just wanted to tell you about this experience that I'm having I was we were able to talk through and it wasn't like something I felt like was bad. It just felt like it needed to go and understood that there was like a clearing there was. A. Clearing process of a lot of grief when I first moved to La, it was pretty hard times for me. You know I had left my job I was unemployed for a little bet. I was Nannying I was babysitting all these things I had was going through my hormone health journey. So I really did have a lot of grief that I needed to release and ricky really helped me up. So. From that point, I knew that this practice was something that really worked for me. You know that really was able to help clear a lot of blockages for me and I've never been afraid of really hard things. A fear isn't one of my main emotions have other ones, but it's not something that scared me when this was happening and I felt really called to it. So over the next. Year getting to know Milan and more her becoming my my main check and having a bunch of feelings, and we also brought Milana to so many of you in Chicago and Los Angeles in New York and experience the most profound transformational things. You know we had women all over the world in London to being. So transformed by this energy healing, and so I saw it firsthand and I really wanted to. Learn and understand what was going on when these women were having these profoundly transformational experiences and learn for myself. You know I wanted to be able to apply some of these beautiful principles about energy management and energy understanding to myself. So that was really my overall intention for going through the rocky teacher training process or the ricky training process was really to just be a master of my own energy a master and just like a conch just like this like beautiful spiritual Kung. Fu. That happens when I'm speaking at an event or I'm in an interview or I'm in a hard conversation and I'm able to just manipulate my own energy to. And it sounds weird but it's like just become this like Sensei so that I'm remaining neutral that I'm remaining in my best. Remaining as my best self and I'm really just taking so much responsibility for my energy field. So when I say manipulation and my energy field, it's like. Okay where's my energy getting away from me? Where's my energy getting caught up in someone else's story. Where's my? Being whereas energy leaking. Where's my energy being filled? Where's my energy like not being best used and this is really what Ricky has done for me as all these things which has helped me protect my energies. Strongly has helped me to use my energy more strongly has helped me to understand myself much deeper and in. So many of the practices that I that I follow subscribe to or or work on I. Think for you know these these years is really just my own self mastery. I think that has been my goal for the past really my whole life. My whole life is this true self mastery component which may change and I might. I might try to make it a more service to others peace at some point. Once I feel really right with myself because I really think that personal responsibility as it relates to our own energy is so important So the ricky training process, you know a lot of people asked about the actual process through which you learn Reiki and learn how to work with Ricky, and learn how to heal others or provide people the catalyst for their own healing I did this in Los Angeles with my friend April fender of Santa Monica Healing. She's incredible. I've gotten sessions from her two that have been wild and crazy. Yeah we just we have these like crazy Monica experience is each time we have healing, which is so. Profound it's almost scary sometimes. Now that I think about it in January. Yes in January. Had Healing with. Rachel. And My higher self came down during my healing. April like she was super formidable. I. Was like just savage like and basically she said that my higher self was like, yeah, it's now or never not our number but the shadow work needs to be real priority and I had the intuitive hit. You know all at the end of last year and even through that time that it was going to be shadow work gear twenty twenty and I think as a collective shot a work year shadow work years but even in that session with April, we were able to really channel and understand its importance. In this year and that was something I'll never forget. April does on Rakia image Chamonix, trained to but she's been such a beautiful teacher inhaler for me and a guide throughout this process. So you know the way in which I approached it was allowing a lot of time in between these two men and these levels, and then also doing my own supplemental research and reading so that I was making sure I was approaching it as respectfully as possible I didn't want it to be like I dunno, I just wanted. To be respectful to the craft you know I wanted to be thoughtful about it. I wanted to be doing my due diligence. I wanted to be a good student about it and I really just wanted to make it something that was important to me and have the intention of of love and something that I would use forever. So I got books that I can share with you to put in the show notes that I've read. There's probably four to five that I've been reading over the past year or so. Since I've gone through the training and there are essentially three, you know between three and four they kind of some people say their street some people say there's four levels for the ricky process to get to where you are master teacher, which is where I am now and the first attune minutes the first one that you have. So the first class that you would essentially have where you get your atonement is your I..

"Downloadable 's a journal prompts apparel and Yup. That's awesome So this episode is just me talking through my experience through Achey teacher training. So I'm ricky master teacher level. So let's not student of the work. Just getting, but I walked through the entombment process. So my journey with Ricky. The healings that I've had my first healing, my experience with no one of our dear friends and really the growth that I've had with it through some of the spiritual experiences, some of the emotional experiences and how it's changed my life and how us Rakia in my life. So Ricky stands for Ray and key, which is universal life force energy. So life force energy that exist all around us that we can tap into at anytime. Which is you know the divine the creator. So yeah, we go into that and in this episode. And it's just a fun one. It's just really interesting and you know my intention with it is that everyone should know that ricky or energy this life force energy is available to us all the healers really the catalyst and you are the whole impetus or you are the creator of your own healing. You are responsible for your own hailing and through my ricky journey it's really been like my mission, my personal mission to just take full responsibility for myself and have my own personal mastery. It's been really cool to still working obviously on a thank you guys for listening. It means a lot to us and if this episode resonates with, you would mean a lot of he passed along to a friend. Yeah. We'll see you on the other side we'll see. How low guys it's your girl Cressida and I'm so glad you're here. It's going to be a good one about a topic that I truly love which is my experience going through rocky teacher training. I am now master teacher certified. Okay. She is master teacher level and I've been really doing it on the low. You know just kind of behind the scenes and sharing about it's a little bit over the past two years and. Are Really. Share just the whole process during this podcast. So really my intention of this podcast was to take a lot of the conversations that I've been having offline or Indians or in the facebook group or with you guys when I saw you before and public when we used to be able to hug each other we used to talk about you know rocky training impact on me and what my experience has been like and what? I believe is so profound about Rakia is that it's available for everyone it's accessible for everyone you know to go through the training process and You can use it in a variety of different ways whether you want to be a healer or you WanNa really just have personal mastery like me. There's so many different uses in ways for ricky and reiki healing, and it's been so impactful for me in my life so you know. During this podcast, I'm gonNA walk through my experience with Ricky. Some of the profound translations I've had in sessions at what ricky is my intention for my actual ricky training and a tomb process, and then how I use Rakia in my life today, there's a lot of different ways and I think what is a little bit different about my path is that I'm not exactly sure if I'm going to be someone that's healing. And Healing and quotes right now really main tension is my own personal mastery or my own understanding of my own energy field on its own and really you know these past years have been such a deep. Profoundly healing experience for me and I'm like smiling because it's like my soul being like, oh, this is so healing and the my human is like God it. Gripping the fucking walls like Oh, my God. This is so painful but my my sweet little soul knows what it's doing and I have to trust it. So I want to start with just a little bit about healing as a whole something that really clicked for me when I started in was going through Rakia teacher training was a lot of the teachings from the Law of one and I did a full podcast episode on the law one, which is a channel text It's a channel text from a six dimensional consciousness or six dimensional being raw, and it really speaks of oneness. So it speaks of how everything we see is of. The Creator, the Creator does not blink at the good or the bad. It is all under the crater. So it's basically all love. It's really looked the unity consciousness feeling and I'll never forget you know when I was going through my two to three level ricky training reading one and feeling so profoundly impacted one of the sections that really resonated with me with law one was when I read this part about healing in general and I thought it really really made sense as it relates to. Ricky. It says one of the primal distortions of the law one. So basically, the all of the law of unity, the Law Oneness is that of healing healing occurs when the mind body. Spirit Complex realizes deep within itself. The Lov one that is that there is no disharmony no imperfection that all is complete whole and perfect. Dust the intelligent infinity within this mind body spirit complex reforms, the illusion of body mind or spirit to a form congruent with the law one. The healer acts as an energizer or catalyst for this completely individual process. One item which may be of interest is that a healer asking to learn must take the distortion understood as a responsibility for that who is asking thus healing this is an honor duty which must be carefully considered and free will before the asking. So all that to say that healing really is the awareness that there is no such thing as disharmony. Imperfection and that all is complete, whole imperfect and that the intelligent infinity within us of the divine, the God source light really through healing reforms, the mind body spirit complex to have the illusion of Oneness that is congruent with Laughlin. So really it's like this healing is a modality to which we can become closer to the understanding of perfection that we are. And also in the law of one they talk about the healer. It is not by example that the healer does the working the he'll the working exist in itself. So the healers only the catalyst and that's really important and I think you know you guys probably know this but within a lot of the healing and wellness world. You are healing yourself. Your allowance of healing is what really is the catalyst for your own healing? And even in my rookie journey when I was being healed or I was the receiver of Ricky Energy through achey sessions, my allowing of this energy in my life and my allowance and belief of it..

"This idea is ablest. Really. It contributes to the stigma of mental illness. I personally know several people who have felt ashamed for having to take medications like antidepressants or or made to feel like if only they meditated enough or spiritual enough, then they wouldn't need to take medication. And, this line of thinking definitely needs to stop. All right. Oh, let's take a deep breath. And? Before it continue onto what I'm GonNa talk about next, if your nervous system is wired right now, I encourage you to go outside if it's safe for you to do. So move your body, take some breaths and then come back. All, right. So for the next part of this episode, I'm going to talk about rocky and shockers. I know this part is going to make. A lot of people angry. and. I know this because it was really uncomfortable for me to do this work myself, and again I encourage you to sit with your discomfort. Listen with an open mind reflect before reacting. Okay. So. I was taught about Chaka's from. Let's say a watered-down Westernized point of view. There was no mention of the shocker systems, traditional origins in India or the Betas I didn't question this when I learned about the shocker system. I just thought. Well, this is a part of the ricky training. So this must be how as. Well this past month, I've spent hours and when I say ours ours going down rabbit holes of research and taking notes and setting with it. And I'm going to share a summation of what I've learned. And I've also included a bunch of links over in the show notes on the episode, Web, so. If you want to go read them yourself. Please do. So. Before I, jump in here. I. Also want to say if I mispronounce any names. I, sincerely apologize do my best. So, in rocky I was taught to use certain ham positions that correlate with seven primary shockers. Just like many many reiki practitioners are taught. I was taught really a any of the history of Ricky. I had to do that on my own. In doing my own research. Dr Michael. Sui. Who is the person who rediscovered? Ricky? You've probably heard of traditional Rakia your some other variation of Ricky. He did not use hand positions like they are taught and ricky. Today? Or you know in. Most traditions today. He used hand positions to treat specific parts of the body and their ailments which you can see in his handbook. As, far as I can suss out, Dr Seuss did not include shockers in his rookie system, which makes sense given that he did not use set hand positions. But Dr. Congo washy she who was tuned by Dr, who Sui Modified Ricki by adding these set ham positions..

"That I use, but I do when I do sessions I. Bring in more thing bringing more breath working energy work, but tapping tends to be like the central thing that we use because it's so powerful. Tell us about your other energy work I think it's one of those things where it's like. Remember what I told you about my grandmother coming to me, She's giving me a lot of messages downloads that I can do energy work in my hands, so I feel like I've been doing it, but it's not in any like studied form, but I do energy work with my hands. I know like run data's. They're called status, and those are the ones that usually lay hands, and when you go to church, right? There's people that they talk about folks that hands, so that's something that like. I infused into my work. Work, as well as just kind of laying hands, doing that kind of energy work with my hands, because that's something. That I got really strong from my grandma that I have and I've noticed it. I've definitely noticed it. And when I work with folks like they're like Oh yeah. I feel it so I do WanNa get some kind of ricky training or something like that to just get like some grounding in some other things, but you know our folks they. They didn't get any of that. Kind of training is one of those days like you have a long, and you just develop a nurture right and so I. Think I have this dawn, and it's just about like continuing to this. Her yellow absolutely I love it because I actually I I work with my hands a lot to do Chris Healing and all that stuff, but I noticed that like I can put the crystal, but when I put my hand on. On it. It's when people are like Oh, yeah, and for a minute and share this with you because it's interesting for a minute I was like well, but are have that lake..

"Hear it from Catherine herself. Let's go back to the PODCAST. Yeah I love that and it's it's not even like a band-aid it's just. It seems like our opening the door for like things to move aside or like for other things to come in which is really beautiful. Yeah I totally agree with that statement. This is me not knowing anything about ricky training like what are the different levels. And like what's the highest you can go like. Are you planning on doing more training? I guess. How does that work? So there's a rookie one which is where you get your initial atonement And then ricky to you dive a little bit deeper Using the symbols. And it's kind of like if you want to to open your own practice. I mean you can absolutely do. You can stop at Ricky One I did not expect so. I didn't even know what to expect. I just got this download that I should do. I was like okay. I don't really know what it is but like whatever I didn't even expect to do Rayvey too. And then after Raytheon was like Holy Shit. I need more this in my life so a win for ricky to and then The couple months had passed. And that's when I did the The master training And I think I'm good retraining now. I don't think I want to do any more in with my master training. I am technically qualified to To teach ricky if I wanted to and I've thought about it but I personally don't have an overwhelming desire to do that. And after after ricky too and it's like. I think I WANNA do for other people whether that's just my friends and family or Do my own practice. And then I felt by the end of the weekend ricky too I was like yeah no I. I want to open my own practice. And that's not something I ever thought I ever wanted to do. I've always been like a little bit more I WANNA say shy. Maybe like a little bit more introverted. I just could never imagine myself wanting to open my own practice but I felt really called to do that. Like I'm supposed to give this to other people in a really came to that conclusion at the end of the weekend. But what's going with that? Do you see what I mean. I go off on tangents. Good editing.

"And if you want to totally geek out on this subject to have a link for you in the show notes if you check out life spa that's the two words. I F E an SPA life SPA DOT com. Has An incredible article. Called Distance. Does not disconnect US understanding consciousness. This article has the most interesting studies case studies that have been done and from a ferry scientific perspective. How what happens to one of US affects us all and this episode is dedicated to taking you putting you back in the driver seat and showing you that every positive thought you think if you hold someone in your awareness and you visualize good things for them for their body for their health for the relationships for their finances for anything at all you want. If there's a particular city that you feel like needs harmony and attention and peace to be brought to that particular location on the planet when you focus your intention when you actually take a moment to visualize the highest possible scenario about a person place or thing or situation or circumstance that you can when you harness your intention in that way. It is extremely powerful of studied a lot of different ways to do distance energy healing. But I like to keep it really simple when starting out. I don't want anyone to feel like. Oh you have to do it in a particular way really. It's all about harnessing your intent. Activating your heart and also using your imagination in your power of visualization. It's like tapping in actually using your mind and your heart in the way that you were designed to and watching the ripple effect of how that creates a positive change in the world and you know it sounds really easy. It almost sounds like Oh. This is too easy. But it's not that easy to harness your intention and hold a crystal clear high vibration vision of how you want things to be of how you want an outcome to feel. That actually takes a lot of work in a lot of practice. It's easy for me to just say it like that but I know from all these years of really taking time. First of all to feel good you have to be in a state of feeling good before you can send out a vibration that can have an effect so feeling good is your first order of business and then getting really clear on how you visualize and how you use your imagination these things. I want you to work on. This is your homework. I remember way back when I was in Reiki training longtime ago long before I started teaching. Achey we did a distance healing protocol in the class and that was in regular old too and I remember being so intimidated by the process. In the Ricky Training is the instructor will pick to individuals that no one in the class knows and they will call one person a and the other person be now. Every student picks either person A. OR B. And that's all they know about the person. Is there either a or person be? They have no other information about these individuals. Then you're given twenty minutes to perform the technique the distance healing technique which there is a specific protocol in Reiki and away that you do remote healing then. The group comes back together and you discuss your findings. You discuss what you feel in you share. But nobody wants to share at first because nobody thinks they could actually do it because anything that comes to their mind in visualization time is usually doubted because our minds wanna go. I'm probably just making this up for the students who are brave enough to start sharing their experiences. During the distance healing time it's astounding because they get so much confirmation and we even follow up with the test subjects about the clothes they were wearing the animals that my happen to be in the room or in the House with that person we follow up with them on. Chronic conditions disease body parts. That has pain. All of these things can be discerned in a distance energy healing session with someone that you don't even know. When I started teaching Reiki years later. It was remarkable. How every group of students would have very specific detailed information that they could discern an intuit about these people that they didn't know it blew my mind every single time and it never got boring to me. It was always interesting in the one consistent between all the groups in. You're talking about all kinds of people from all walks of life. But the one consistent trait that everyone had is in the beginning. They feared that they would be the only one that wouldn't be able to do it. They doubted not only the process of distance healing but also their own intuitive abilities and if they got brave enough to share and say I don't know if this makes any sense or not but I saw a floral pattern nightgown on an elderly woman in a bed in a sick bed when they got confirmation that yes she actually is wearing a nightgown with flowers on it and she's eighty six years old and they got those details for their mind. That is very encouraging to keep going to keep strengthening your intuitive muscle and working on the connection that you have with all of life and I think that's one of the most important pieces if you're trying to do intuitive work if you're trying to connect in and be a force for good is you have to learn to trust the process and the only way you can do that is with practice just like anything else. It's the only way you get good at anything so I highly recommend that you try this and you do not have to take a ricky class to do it. I personally don't even teach modalities like ricky anymore. Even though they were extremely helpful and useful for me at one point of my journey at this point. I like to simplify things down and make energy healing a lot more accessible to people. It is wonderful to have protocols and methods in lineage and traditions and they have their place but also feel like if more of US start just tap in to our intuition and use our intention and use our mind as the creative tool and powerful hewing remedy. That it is the world will be a much better place. I tried to veer away from staying in one modality or one technique that feels exclusive. Feels like Oh you have to have this certificate on your wall new you. Don't you have to have a very clear intention and you have to come from a place of love? That's what you need. In order to do distance healing. So here's how it works if you want to try this if you would like to try to connect with someone and have a positive effect on them in a remote way. I want you to find someone that you can partner up with someone who would be open to this. Maybe a friend or family member. Who wouldn't think you were completely bananas for wanting to do this. And say hey. Can we set aside about thirty minutes in? Would you be willing to lie down or relax in a meditative position and allow me to connect with you from my heart and let me just see what I can pick up and what I can discern and I want to send you healing energy and when I say send energy? It's not really exactly like that Sometimes the wording can trip us all up you know. Words can be difficult to articulate something that is non physical like healing energy. It's less about sending or doing or effort. It's more about holding someone in your awareness while you feel good so I'm going to bring you back to the feeling good part. You have to take the time and make the effort to feel really good. If you're going to give a distance healing session you cannot be effective at assisting someone else in their healing process if you are not raising your vibration and feeling really good yourself in that moment so let me give you an example. Say You were very concerned about the well-being of someone that you love if you are in a state of worry or anxious concern if you are in the vibration of fear about what might be happening with. That person physically. You will not be effective at doing this work if you can take the time to get yourself in a happy state a loving state a joyful high energy and you can sit with that and you can enjoy the way that feels then and only then. Can you be effective to pray to say affirmations to visualize timidity and hold that person just hold them in your awareness? And here's where you can get really creative with it if you can visualize another person or an animal. We're like I said before the city a destination a situation even political stuff if he if you want to if you can hold that whatever it is you want to direct healing energy to hold it and visualize that person and see them in the most radiant high level state of being that you can imagine in. This is where it gets really exciting you were. Imagination is a tool for creation and healing. And the more you practices the longer you can hold that high visualization of the best most.

I believe and this is a system that aligns your shawcross honestly the only way I can describe it on say it. In Layman's terms is that I was able to enter into probably the deepest meditation Tation I've been in recent memory and in a way that really was on like a cellular level so being she she incorporates in the bed is like a a sound system for lack of a better term using crystals to channel the sound as well and and I mean you feel this like it's like you're in a spaceship in the best way and for me. It felt like it was distracting my mind from just keeping me here on earth. If that makes sense so like it was able to really raise my vibration in a way that I could go there because a lot of the time I I don't know if any of you feel this out there. We're your mind just kind of brings you back down so back down to reality or back down down my town of low and so this really got my mind out out of the way and I just felt it in every part of my body and being and it was really beautiful and I just can't wait to work with more yeah. "Yeah Yeah Yeah so <hes> so anyway. She's my my teacher in that regard and I really I really helium so excited about what's going to come creatively as a result of that process. What what's what's drawing you to her inspiring you to go through this because 'cause you have done this ricky training before this total a new chapter in your life. What's inspiring you to do that. What's what's behind that Jenny telling me I needed to do. It absolutely judy says do something you do. She just knows she does. I think she you can tell that <hes> I'm blocked in some areas and and that this would do something and and I trust her intuition <hes> have you done anything like this before energetic type stuff or spirituality type with Gen a big part of my life <hes> and in this particular way where I am about through this training training to get some tools where I might be able to help some other people and I I know I'll be able to help myself but in a way that <hes> it before I've just been very in tune into I've had near death experiences and <hes> <hes> just very connected to the universe in in many ways and in many ways disconnected so I think that that's why this this is. GonNa be a good thing. That's great yeah. Well you know fitness exercise all of this. Is that big piece of it right. What sort of things do you do from again. Practice habits standpoint to just oh keep the blood literally flow in right acts. Yes yes <hes> your brain. <hes> everything <hes> it's healing. It's it's <hes> disease prevention. It's it's life giving it. It's everything circulating. It makes you fitness makes you want to eat healthier. It it it just it's it's the Fountain of Youth also I think internally and externally and get up in the mornings and will run as the heat it gets more and more intense and Florida into longer beach cruiser distant bike rides with my husband and I used to be triathletes. Elites and <hes> sold are expensive racing bikes for kayaks and so it's not as far to fall and right right right so we like the balancing workouts you know the upper body. Kayaks we believe in resistance training as you get older and lose muscle mass <hes> <hes> you know it takes a little bit more <hes> so we'll do some of that <hes> just hard working in the yard. <hes> walk in when you can get a big. Oh Dog you know and and let that you gotTa take him out and exercise him and <hes> so yeah we've we've been runners for like forty years and <hes>. I have a ballet background which taught me a lot of discipline I mean seventy five percent of ballet it looked so athletic and it is but seventy five percents mental and the discipline involved to get to that athletic state you know and I think that that's helped me and other physical endeavors. Well you mentioned your husband. As long as we've mentioned Julia Thousand Times you're talking about two sides of the creative brain if we can talk about <hes> having banker mind on one side and a musician <hes> Cajun Blues whatever John Dyke Hat Dichotomy God yeah it does about Rufus Rufus. which is his real name? I thought it was his stage name. When I first met him I said that's not musician -sition name your real name come on and so <hes> Rufus Lemaire is a Cajun from generate Louisiana love his accent love his Joie Aviv. I taught me out of Cajun. Dance any makes better than I do and so I was like okay. I need to stick around around this guy for a while. He <hes> has been playing the drums for fifty years and <hes> just belts it out consent while he's playing and <hes> plays the guitar and the piano and so forth so he's creative <hes> on one hand and and and his dad said boy you can't you can't really make a living that way so I want you to be a banker or lawyer or something you know so he's banker and he's retired now no and <hes> so he yeah he's. He's a cool guy. Doesn't it make you think how many people we might go out on a Friday or Saturday night and seeing the band and not think well they might be a banker. You know or the other way around you know. You're talking to somebody in the bank and you're like like I wonder if they're gonNA be in a blues band tonight. You know going back to our whole creativity theme. You know how many people are looking for that out. Let you know it's interesting. You said that because actually <hes> the band he was in was a big eight piece band with horns section net called <hes> earshot graffiti be and they were together for twenty five years which is almost unheard of for bands you know their issues were creative types break up and <hes> but they got to gather it was like three guys who were closing banks for the F._D._i._C. and they were up in Chicago and and doing this work and they would go out at night to these clubs clubs and just like fill in and just be invited on stage or what have you and then they just decided hey. Let's get a band together and and thinking of that group and what you're talking about creative types <hes> I think one of the questions we have been exploring is collaboration nation in creativity that so much of the stuff is individual and the creative egos and I wanna see it my way I mean even the fact that you would reach out to a neighbor and say I see my painting as a little flat here. What can you improve. A lot of people wouldn't do that because it's like hey I'm pretty good on my own and ah I'm curious even as you're thinking about the <hes> Susanna Clarke project the collaborative nature of creatives. That can't be easy. Now you know it this whole endeavor. Okay the rocky the art of photography the the collaborating with the lyrics the whole thing. It's it's all so different from my decades and broadcasting that was extremely competitive area and as I enter this area of holistic arts one thing that really is attractive to me is the lack of competition and the abundance of support for one another and I'm ready for it. I paid my competitive dues her competitive thinking we call it. A scarcity mentality right is like well. There's not enough for all of us and so how many minutes am I on camera and how many stories in my getting you're saying and so so how does that contrast what you're talking about with the holistic guards well I think <hes> <hes> you can find a niche more easily easily in holistic arts so there's more room for you to create that niche to either where there's not a need already being matt or where you have a special talent or especial energy to give <hes> and where it in even if there are like even even if I live next door to another ray practitioner or whatever else I go into later. We're not going to be alike. We're not going to be totally alike and an and the people we work with are not going to be drawn to both of us equally so so really you don't have to be competitive if you you let it be and just let it <hes> organically rise the way it's supposed to that's so interesting and mark your student of this more than I am. But do you see that I mean I. I've never said I got a bad massage or that was an awful crystal healer. It's like I guess because maybe it's all pretty positive right. I think it all does go in the mix especially. It's funny you mention that about spirituality and anyone that's Kinda healing energetic excite of you now I have said that about accountants or lawyers not to throw those professions under the bus but I don't know maybe if it's whether I have a more open mind when it comes to spiritually healing type practices but I just look at it all going in the bucket this person's energy and their wisdom Emma knowledge that person so I don't know what your experience Cherry with those two worlds like the the the accountants bookkeepers world and the spiritual world. Have you ever had a bad well. I can tell you we're in broadcasting. I've had plenty of negative experiences with <hes> <hes> egos Ego's maybe and I I really <hes> a really feel like there's a big absence of that in the holistic arts arts and that's so refreshing. It's a whole different mindset. <hes> you can relax and it gives you permission to be yourself and to <hes> bring what you have authentically to the table and contribute and collaborate with somebody who knows. I mean if you connect act with someone with the two of you can come up with as far as a service to other people that vehicle doesn't really exist in in in broadcasting and accounting and and maybe you can create that but there's not a lot of room for partnerships there unless it's on a the business level you know what makes sense in the business world and I don't know I think as a society where would you call all waking up so so maybe there is more than I see and and that I've experienced and maybe there will be more in the future because this holistic arts thing I think is going to spill over into the rest of everything we have going so good so as we <hes> reached the end of our our time here I just yeah and I know that there's a lot of listeners that are at various places probably ably on their own personal journey their creative journeys <hes> mark and I are going to be talking with creative individuals literally all over the world so they'll be somebody buddy probably listening to this from Germany or Brazil or Australia who knows where <hes> but what what advice I guess putting it all together gather that we've talked about from. Where do you get your inspiration to who you work with to what you're doing for your own personal development. What would you say to somebody that is on that creative journey <hes> how to be more authentic and how to express themselves more. What would you say well. I'M I. I've never really thought of myself as one to give advice vice bed I I. I can just tell you that for me <hes> Y- clearing myself of obstacles and things that that are harmful harmful to that process <hes> in a gentle releasing way and then trying to harness harness <hes> what what feels true and other people call it going with your gut who what does that mean well just just harnessing your true true purpose if you can tap into that at whatever level and whatever degree than than and <hes> slowly make room for that and go for even if it's cooking eggs extremely creative. Even if it's like okay I've got these serves. How can I incorporate them into into this. <hes> this dish and experiment you know get out there and I do it. It doesn't have to be perfect but it's interesting that you started by saying. I you have to sort of have to remove make room. Yes and it sounds like the for you. That's kind of a two part process. Yeah let go get out of your own way. Yes and then you can add then you can be available. Jenny and I I agree on this one thing and that is released anything less than love well well. I think that's a great time to to close it up there. Sherri thanks for hanging out with us and sharing your experience. Thank.

"I don't think I told you guys on Instagram. But so I've wanted to be learn more about Ricky and get you know, to Ricky training since middle of last year a lot inspiration from Alana and seeing what she can do. And you know, there's a lot of things that you could do with Ricky, that's like, self healing. And I've always felt you know, I I've known that my I'm energetically really like intense so being able to like control that energy, and like work with that energy to make it as like high vibe always as possible or he'll myself or he'll those close to me. So I have been studying it since like, December I have a bunch of different books, and then I worked on it a little bit with Justin's, mom Iraqi master over the holidays, and then I just met April of Santa, Monica healing. She's awesome. And I've been working with her. And then I just got a tuned Wednesday of this week which. Really cool. It was it was really intense. I definitely felt physically different. I do feel physically a little different. I feel like just a little bit more thoughtful and conscious. You know? It's like if someone was like, hey, you're gonna feel weird for twenty days. You're of like, ooh weird. You know, you think about it. You're like, well, I felt weird right now. So I don't know if it's like placebo effect too. But now just doing like, the the self healing and doing these Pacific exercises that I have to do, but I'm really excited. I mean, I really just need to practice more to trust more and do more attuned mints do more Rakia. So that I can just get better and better. But it also means like making sure my vessels really clean, making Sharm always being honest. I'm always being like thoughtful and being conscious I'm treating my body. Well, so that, you know, the life force energy of Ricky is able to like flow through me. And if anyone doesn't know so Ricky is basically like life force energy. Ray life force array is life force. And then key is energy. And it was discovered thousands and thousands of years ago. And it's basically for the people there's no central group that owns quote, unquote, Ricky or teaches Ray key. They want it to be assessable in available to all. But when you become reiki, attuned, you go through a process in you are attuned by a master of Ricky, and they're able to open up channels and portals through symbols and a ritual that allows you to have Ricky, which is again life force energy working through you. So basically allows you to become a channel. So that your hands or your body could be used to channel lifers energy through you. So when someone is being healed by Ricky. Their ability to be affected by Ricky is directly correlated to their ability to receive life force energy and their ability to be open and their ability to be lake accepting of it. So if you don't believe it if you don't think it's true, you're not going to be able to receive it. But if you're willing open able then the person that is giving you Ricky we'll be able to channel that life force energy to you. So you can be, you know, a better Ricky master than others like, I guess because you are more open. You're more experienced, you know, hand placements, you know, signs, but it is really about the person that is the receiver. And when you're doing it, you know, you never are supposed to lose energy because it's just working through you. You're not giving your own energy life force energy of Rakia that's going through you, and it's not your energy. So it's something that should be really giving you energy because you're also having the Rakia energy, go through you. And you shouldn't lose it. But yeah, it'll be cool. And I'm just excited about it. I think I'll get a tuned again and just kind of keep doing it. Because. You can be tuned many times, and it really just like opens you up to different things. And I wanted to do it, you know, before or just to prepare for rid Mia. You know, so when Lindsay and are doing plant medicine, I'm able to just more clearly call on my guides or more clearly be able to like disseminate information during the process..

"Why things happen the way that he did? He apologizes for any misunderstandings that might have happened so on and so forth. And and Tom feels good about Lolo after this conversation. It's a very important conversation because I think it does influence Tom's motives heading into his next HOA JR. However, of course, unbeknownst to Tom by the time Lillo gets back to Natalie. She is fully anti Tom again. And she's using this conversation against it. But like I said Tom doesn't know that Tom is going to win the next h h and now that he feels good about Lolo wants to keep Lillo safe. And he's like what low lows the person I wanna make a deal with which means it's open season on Ricky all aboard. The let's get out Ricky train. Let's go. Can't he doesn't like it. Though. Candy doesn't want to get on that train? Can he wants Natalie out like I said, she thinks that Natalie is a bigger threat to her. And she is so Tom is going to have some one on one meetings. He has a meeting with Rickey it's a tale of two proposals. One proposal being Ricky goes on the block the other proposal being Ricky doesn't go on the block. Tom's pro pro Tom's proposal is going to win. It's going to win. He's the he decides candy really wants Natalie out. So she talks to Tom and she convinced Tom to put up Natalie with Ricky instead of Lolo with Ricky. And that's what's going to happen. Natalie is going to go up on the block with Ricky Ricky at this point decides. I'm done. You got me. I got nothing. I'm a fall on my sword for you. Guys. You women. I'm just here to help you away. Tom. It used to be. Never mind. Tom is gonna win the veto. Crazy stuff. What's what's Tom gonna do lo-lose? Not sure. Because lo-lose talking about how Tom used her Olympic dreams to manipulator. How dare he what a terrible person. Tom tries to pitch an idea of using the veto with two candy and candy doesn't like this. She wants Natalie gone. Tom wants Ricky gone can't he goes to tame our and she tells taymor that Tom is thinking about using the veto taymor misinterprets. What's happening? She thinks that she's the target. She goes and she blows up on Tom out dare you, Tom. You got a me up. You're threatening people. You're such a bully Tom's. Like, no don't use that word. That's not even what's happening. Tom. He's cowed the feeds cut. Apparently. This got even worse than we didn't see it feeds cut Tom goes, he hides up in his room. We know the story next day veto ceremony. Hasn't talked to anyone he decides he's going to use the veto on Ricky put slow up in his place. Ricky is saved his new life in this game is not talking about falling on any swords anymore. He's like, oh what a shame that. I can't separate Fleiss myself for you guys. But now that I'm off the block I want to keep that only because I have a better relationship with her. And I think that it's better for my game moving forward. But I'm going to pretend that I'm gonna let you decide because I knew that Natalie has a stronger will. So how do we keep Natalie? He tries to keep Natalie with Tamar it makes final two with Tamar. They do their best here. But candy and Dina will not budge. They are not able to get low low to leave. So for the second time the zen angry cult is gonna fail at it and vixen vote and Natalie is going to be the next person to leave the game. Ricky is this is important to note a lot more respectful toward Tom after the veto is used on him. He's like, you know, what he's a good guy. I'm I'm still after him in the game. But were cool that were even. Important to note because Ricky's basically, the only one of them that does this for now at least so Natalie leaves the house, and oh, it's double the vixen time. It's time for an addiction. That's doubled. Tom's gonna leave in the double eviction..

"Weeks. When he got out Ricky was determined to make it as a sports star. Thanks to his tennis talents. Ricky got accepted into Dorsey high, a famous performing arts, high school in LA, located near Crenshaw in the neighborhood, call the jungle Dorsey high made a name for it self for pumping out all kinds of famous students like Robert Kardashian. The defense lawyer during the OJ Simpson, murder trial and t Rogers co, founder of the bloods for Ricky tennis became his only focus. He was determined to make it out. He didn't wanna follow on his mother's footsteps. Very talented for age. Tennis gave Ricky access to education. It also gave him away to earn money by giving private lessons to the rich kids in Beverly Hills. Ricky was making twenty dollars an hour in the white suburbs of LA a world where gardens were five times the size of his home. And people traveled in limousines. His American dream was coming true. For Ricky that dream had in Maine, Arthur ash, the first African American tennis player to earn a championship tennis title. Ricky trained tirelessly to be just as good if not better than ash himself. But training wasn't enough, rookie was almost literate. So we struggled in school. His grades weren't good enough to contain qualifying for his merit scholarship at Dorsey high, and he was on a verge of getting expelled. No, good grades, no scholarship, no scholarship, no tennis lessons as he trained during the day with the golden youth, the Beverly Hills, he came home to south central with the car thieves of the neighborhood. One day. If finally happened Ricky losses scholarship to Dorsey, it was a painful return to reality. If he wanted to find his way back to school Ricky without the fine, some money fast. In nineteen eighty-two Rick. Got a job at garage during his time. Fixing cars, he discovered cocaine for the first time, one of his co workers who was a dealer got him Assad hustle of his own dealing cocaine, Rick took advantage of his new friends advice and got selling. It would be enough to w supply by turning it into freebase, cocaine, cut with the Monja that was cheaper on the street with a hard hitting high, then they'd reinvest the profits. Demand for free base was already through the roof freeway, Rick and big Lok ended up hiring extra hands to cook coke, but things were about to change Martin the pimp. Another local dealer show them that cooking with baking soda instead of a Monja produce more powerful highs and may freebase cheaper to manufacture. It was a perfect way to make a lot of money. The profit margins were beyond Rix, wildest dreams. All he had to do with sell it, and so came the rise of a drug that would ravage the nation, crack, cocaine. Rick show the same discipline building his business as he did with tennis in that discipline paid off in no time, flat freeway, Rick and big lope were running five crack kitchens across south central freeway.
