"You save you draw. The guards fucking. He can't and but. I found solid technical and farming for several years. And i used to have next door neighbor. Yama give your boss cupcake. Because i always went to thomas i will give you give you this and then got towels. I felt like he was awesome but he would never read them for free. It was always getting these yet so told them listen to. Let's play a game. You give me the date. And i'll give you a bus debbie and by the time i got that the solid circle off the a seven term fail. But my my time. I'll pass dishonor for college degrees and then the jail was untroubled as once. I learn how to write. I became a jill cole. Jill how smart kind of thing. I knew all the policies with their own policies. I'm memorized on policies like these. Young kids memorize these. Jc saul's right saw spotted challenged them in court for different. There was doing you know we went to court on. I'm the teacher in. The school involves political sick and then the jail was changing. You though the the tied up the chick certain programs away and i do what is in the being in the mix so i created my own what we created a scholarship. We gave out. One hundred and fifty two scholarships too soon of incarcerated parents. You know we was doing food drives so were you always were. You always liked that looking for 'cause you're doing three things at once one thing is your show. You're asserted certain the fact that you're not to be fucked list and if somebody folks or through your fucking them up number two. You're asserting the fact that you're the kingpin of the jail making money fucking the guards which is probably my favorite thing i've ever heard. And and then the positive thing comes in where you're trying to setup programs had always been about the programs or did that come within the time was part of being on switching the game when we can get the drugs into normal. I hadn't had something to keep ourselves into tape right. Why couldn't you bring the drugs anymore. Got fired cost. So what i did that starting doing when you run an organization the prison that normally let you have of money-making project ice cream we had on iceland vessel so i was allowed to have follow one seat over essential the prison and we was giving them money making project which was selling ice cream. We only ice shopping in jail. Jail whole thousand people we want. This is quint so you're fortunate that the guard switched up and that you could switch up like like you learned to adapt but you adapting put you on a positive path. Yes so that's pretty amazing. I interviewed a freeway. Ricky ross and he had a a similar story where where he went in illiterate learn how to read learn. Read the lawbooks to the point where he retried his case as his own attorney and got out but he wasn't about positive change in programs he was about how he could become a better hustler. You know what i mean like. That was always his Thing you know what i mean like. Whatever that's not you know. It's just an interesting story. I mean listen. I got the hustling blood. Do today's everything is just different level. You know learning to drinking and incorporated.

"With it But i i'm really shocked. Man that even at the end of his career or at rather at the end of his contract with his top rank career they wouldn't offer him something more appealing to resign. Like this is what you offer a guy. That's contract is almost expired. This doesn't seem like you want him to re abyss. Seems like you really believe he's been causing you a loss the way you've been you know he's the one been saying in the media that crawford's cost the money so moving as if he doesn't care to resign. Crawford do you think it's safe to say that. The these actions of top rank and bob arum seem to lead me to believe that. Maybe they don't to resign them. Yeah i'll be honest. After his last fight with brooke and the scathing interview with bob from the athletic i thought they were done and then things got a little better. I guess or little less combative but it really didn't change anything because you're absolutely right like when you are a major league baseball player and you are a free agent the next year and they want to keep you the throwing everything at you. You know what. I'm saying like year basketball player. That's about to go into free agency in indignant though the cars that you the money at you. They're going to throw a real estate at you whatever they can do to sweeten the pot. This doesn't feel like a sweet enough pot in fact it really doesn't feel sweet at all Now you can dangle the josh taylor carrot but if you're crawford have had to endure this kind of media scrutiny over the past three to four years. I don't know if you want to resign for it. You know what i'm saying. So i think you're right. I think this could be a way for them to save face. Because bob took a lot of heat so instead of coming out and saying we flat out. Dona sign crawford again. He is hemorrhaging money. You know i've lost one of my four beach homes of you wanna do that. He wanted to do that. That's whatever but you look terrible in the media so you know the way to go through it from a pr. Standpoint is to kind of save face and go through the go through the routine of it. All but i don't know i can't say for sure you know it's it's a little. It's a little funny man They really need to do something you know or he really needs to wake up is just that simple. But i seen ignorant box say something and i wanted to ask your opinion on it. He believes that. Crawford's to sign with. Eddie hearn but we just got our first guest charles in the building champ. Would it do good morning. How are you brother was good man. Happy to have him man. Can you turn that on salaries so it doesn't blur you out. 'cause skype has like here. You go so the morning morning man. You fight in this saturday in georgia. Mannix fight week. How how you fill in static man. It's more more prepared. Good good to hear so. This'll be a six fight. Correct by a eight. Oh seven oh with seven knockouts And he has fought twice this year so far once in february and then again in may so. He's coming off a short turnaround here. Quick turnaround i should say signed freeway. Ricky ross not to be confused with rick. Ross the boss. He's definitely been keeping you active. I remember when he first emerged in the boxing scene And and he's kept you active all throughout twenty twenty which was a covert year. And here you are twenty twenty one basically. What your third fight Listed are you happy with your activity. Yeah definitely Given me more opportunities to fight chaumont moscow's sit so Emend companies we have. Just keep me keep me in the loop and and now As far as fight week You know. I know you probably don't want to you know. Give away too much. But where are you wait wise. You know there is it. Is it getting a little tougher or or how. You feeling wait To four days ago. So it's just maintaining breakfast lunch dinner. Just make sure Get energy and get energy out. Maintain the same thing love so great but but at this stage you have to do that. Stuff your yourself. Correct at the stage. You're monitoring your own calories your own clerk and take all the stuff that you're eating like that's a dietitian and then you do. Okay wow awesome. How long have you had a dietitian like month. That's good a. It'll help like that seriously. So not fair man. What are you know about your opponent. And did you know that he lasted You know almost the entire six rounds with big punching elvis rodriguez that was just let go of top rank definitely of the higher echelon of a skill set in the past dues up for of something. We look forward to We've we've been calling can call on a few guys that You know just just something had to give me more of a challenge. And i felt like this. Definitely of that of that caliber Just post boot pushing me pushing me pushing me for more and more every fight on me. I felt like you know going through buses consistently is not way to go. I mean we don't learn from that you don't build any building. Construction often a just constantly pushing more and more ended a day. would definitely put me in a position. I want to be for the next two years. So the opposition's better is it safe to say that you want to go 'cause you're fighting a six round but you've never been past the fourth round. I believe Second round okay wow Never been past the second game. So is there any of you that wants to get the rounds in. Yes definitely on. The last fight could've stopped in first but You know i. I feel i feel more inexperience with the constantly. Just taken due out in the first first half for the first round. So i moved around a little bit pushed him up. A little bit kept me in in the middle but at the end of the day Just gaining experience is being in a ring more as a professional definitely gave me a little bit more life and a more comfortable as in now. Now it says that your Fight in twenty twenty of february. Excuse me twenty. Twenty one in february was you did go four rounds out of eight. Is that a mistake on boxer. Is that in mexico. Yes wow we got to get that fixed the fight you had in mexico. Has you down that you took him the first minute of the second one. Wow okay and that was for the vacant american. Oh the abf yeah we. We covered a fight with abf. They definitely got you down for four rounds of for that particular fi but Did you watch the video of your opponent. Mr alfred versus rodriguez. How long have you known this as the opponent. He's pretty good bro. He ain't no he ain't no push over we wanted. We wanted this while Love it on we. We've been we've been looking at them for a while Duffy so lou definitely saluted his guy. I mean we had a whole bunch of we had a whole bunch of people with just poured out Undefeated fires that poured out and Took the fight and that more than appreciate him four. So how long did you know it was going to be him About two months now. Okay so you got definitely full. Grisly definitely got a four eight weeks to prepare for him. because he pretty slick chat he pretty slick. I'm watching a fight as we speak he. He hit rodriguez shit sent him into the ropes. And that's my man's even though he losses last five he does have his high school track picture. Box record will he is pretty good. I'm not gonna cry. Movement he's He constantly moving said yes. He's using jan. What i see is that you're going to have to cut the ring off shore unless you box them obvious. Far from for from now he saw a check. This is just about to say. How can we while canal. I'm interested this is a common opponent is oh go ahead is going to be on. Freeway live on freeway dot love. It should be on my.

Ross like the real ricky ross. Okay but the main character is franklin and this is like. I want to say the fourth season okay postal to series now theories on ethics. So yesterday was the premier cru and that you know it was really nice. You know i liked it. I liked the crime drama. Typist always been all about like the csi and you know criminal minds and all that kind of stuff. So i get it. It's you know it was the first episode. So i'm excited to see what the second episode is. Because you know you when you -ticipant on watching something it's like you want to hurry up and jump to you. Know what. I mean so the first episode can like okay. That was good but what else so. And that was the funny thing to me with So one division. is you know. Been taking the internet by storm disney series with the moreau characters. And it's funny to me. How many people are angry. About the fact that disney is dropping one episode a week instead of dropping entire series and and people binging that way and i mean for a couple of reasons one. Obviously people don't remember how tv works because tv. I mean that's how. Tv has always worked. You get an episode of week and you gotta wait and that's just how it goes but it's not even the first time disney debt has done this like this is how disney did the mandalorian to Which was the huge thing that they launched disney plus with and you know they drop one episode of weeks. I mean it's it it just it makes me laugh. How impatient people are these days Where they just want everything and they want it now and you know. It's okay to wait for things sometimes. Let the anticipation build. Not a problem. You'll be fine..

"In the film, We hear one of your subjects talk about the trauma of poverty. And how that drives people to the escapism of drugs. How much did the need to escape the realities of poverty fuel the use of crack. I think that one of the things that we have a hard time talking about in the United States. Is that drugs at least temporarily make you feel good? Right? And so you know, we talked about the evil of drugs We talked about just saying No, But, you know, just say no is really hard. For something that makes you feel good if you've got a dead end job, And if something is if a drug is being sold, you know, right outside your house, you know for $5. Um, it's hard for people took to resist, and I think you know what? That's one of the points that we wanted to make, because it's so hard for us to really talk realistically about. You know why people use drugs that it's not a moral failure. You know, it's not a moral failure using drugs, especially when they're so available for cheap. Let's take a listen to one of the people to the subject that you interview in your film, Mitch, cradle of former homicide Detective and Corey Pegasus, Peggy something of saying his name right, a former dealer talking about the time and what it meant to survive. Mid urban decay in the city's Let's take a listen We didn't have money, So a lot of time we were home ourselves the kids, so we always go to the corner store and steal. We'll go to the safe way to earn money by carrying people groceries home. Sometimes we will walk with someone carrying that grocery home. We run off with the bags. We were just but a lot of was just about survival. Sometimes I had to wear my sister's changed handing down jeans, You know, Sis classic picture of me in the fifth grade. I'm sitting Indian style in the front before the boys but everybody hands on their laps and minds is on my two shoes because I had holes in my shoes. Sometimes we don't have lights, guys, You know, we have Roaches in the House mice. It was pretty bad. When crack comes into the community, Stanley there's this influx of money to these poverty stricken areas. How did the economics of crack change the local economics of the neighborhoods? Yeah. I mean, the sale of crap was very different from the fill of heroin. You know, it was not controlled by organized crime. So all a young guy had to do was you know by, um some weight of cocaine, an ounce of cocaine, Cook it up. Put it in virals, and he and his boys or girls could go out on on the street and sell crack with impunity. Then buy some more cocaine and cook it up and become a slowly you know, kind of many kingpins, you know of their neighborhoods of the block of the projects. And some of the deal is that we talked to, you know, really laid out and and talk about. That s so it was very, very different and it was easy. It was easy game to get into it again. You know, Central to this was no policing. On by the dealers felt safe, at least at first. That was my next question. Where were the police and all of this? They weren't there is no I mean, they were not. They were not patrolling the neighborhood. They kind of let it let it go on. Um, one of the dealers that we interviewed talks about how you know he was busted with a bag of crack miles, you know, with cracking the man and the cops. You know, gave it back to him. And and, you know, he runs tol his boss and the boss is, you know? Well, you know, we're paying him off. You know, Of course, they gave it back to get out there and sell some more crack, You know, Um, And that was the sense that the dealers and the user's head was that it was. It was a free for all you know again, anybody that that was around in certain parts of New York at that time? You know, they can testified to the fact that you didn't have to be sure. Like Holmes Toe find you know the crack dealers. You don't have to have to be a great detective. You know who was selling cracking way they were selling it. My guess is Stanley Nails Nelson, the name of his new documentary on Netflix. It's called Crack cocaine, corruption and conspiracy. Let's talk about you mentioned it earlier. The just say no campaign. This was part of the Reagan administration's big push anti drug push, Miss Cradle the former homicide detective. You talked to called it quote hypocritical. And that's because while Nancy Reagan has stepped into this role is this anti drug crusader her husband's administration was turning a blind eye to drug smuggling because the smugglers were using their profits to fight the Communist regime that had taken hold in South America. Can you walk us through the geopolitics of this? Yeah, It's kind of a very complicated story, but but you know, they The Reagan administration wanted to support the Iran Contras in Nicaragua, anti communists and, um, the Congress said No. You know, we were not gonna fund that anymore. So they were looking around. For ways T O funnel money to the Contras, and they decided that sell weapons to Iran and then take the money that they saw the weapons to from and fly it to Nicaragua. And then the Nicaraguans, many of them who were flying weapons around back and forth. You know, they were like, Well, we got these planes in Nicaragua and we got to go back to the United States, Um, to get some more weapons, So why don't we love the planes up with Coke? And whether you know whether the CIA and United States government actually helped them load the planes up with Coke or whether they just turn their backs and didn't care. Um you know is in dispute, but definitely Um, the United States government knew what was going on. Iran Contra broke in the late eighties, its role in the crack Ecob. It didn't really break until 1996 when journalist Gary Webb, who's in your film, published a series of stories, tying the Contras to a drug ring in L. A. Play a clip. This is California Congressman Maxine Waters in 1998 charting out the supply line from the Contras to dealers in south central L. A. Vanessa's was well known by the CIA. The D E. A. The D A. And everybody in the United States as a drug dealer who was supplying to millio bland Joan, who was supplying Ricky Ross. How he stayed in the United States all of those years being known from 1974 selling drugs that ended up helping to support the Contras and nobody, but nobody knew it is absolutely amazing. Manassas was never arrested by the U. S enforcement. He was permitted for interest again to the United States and even issued a visa. How was this allowed? And why wasn't allowed to continue the CIA and D E a records of full of knowledge about Vanessa's drug dealing operation? This knowledge was substantiated and this report Even this report the CIA knew of his drug trafficking. By 1984 and the D. E. A had known if it's trafficking activities, his earliest 1974. How aware were these local kingpin's? He's local drug dealers that they were part of a bigger story. I think I think you know people like Rick Ross, who was a real kingpin, You know who was involved in smuggling cocaine and you're buying it directly from Nicaraguans. I knew it. You know, he says in the film, you know, I got the vast majority of my drug from Nicaraguan from from Nick Nicaragua. So you know, I think that they understood that the drugs were getting here..

But you mean Mario was talking off the air in something. You know we wanted to address this whole idea of quote unquote the feds what's going on with you live I'm here in. PORTLAND. So. I get offended sometimes people who have these assumptions about what's going on in Portland when it comes to these federal police officers that are here, and there's a lot of things going on when it comes to the federal government right now and how the infiltrating groups gangs, all kinds of going on right now. You must be you want to speak on Mario well first of all, let's let's let's keep Kinney and prayer because you know at any given moment Kenny can be of deductive and west of the unmarked car. If we don't want that to happen, you know what I'm saying I can is very active. He gets outside and business thing on my bike Leila's by with with with taking safety precaution with his mask and all that those who don't want Kenny they swooped in on mark. Vehicle. Chicago we I stuff stuff maybe happening in New York and so it seems that they have a strategy that they're trying to follow and. So far. I gotta give it to Portland. I've talked about this the other day off the Air I'll say man, I tell you what you can say whatever you want about four the man. But you know soon as those fair star cracking down, they didn't bow and they came back out stronger in. It got so bad was like challenge accepted. The protest went to the mayor's house I'll wear it I didn't even hear about that protest and went to the mayor's house the Mayor March with the people and he tear gas. I did hear something about that. Yeah. I. Did hear something about that. Yeah. In the governor the Governor Kate. Brown. Now, she's stepping up saying that the organ police will not even the Portland police. The state police are GONNA be protecting the protesters. So That's why twenty the you know with a chance to see cop on cop violence. Oh. Okay. So that's what bad was. Okay. Till the state, the Oregon State police are protecting protesters near the courthouse downtown and near the federal building. Downtown. And those federal, those federal police officers are outnumbered. So let me ask a little. Let me ask you some of the layout of downtown Portland because this is what this is one of the things as fusing from what I understand. They only have so much authority to work down there as far as talking about the federal agents. Yeah. They're they're Michigan is supposed to protect the federal buildings. Staff. Is that where the majority of the protests happening or or the federal building? This is how small downtown. Seattle Houston downtown Seattle downtown Seattle Looks Damn near identical to downtown. Portland is just downtown Seattle is five times bigger. So downtown Portland you have pyner square you have the federal building and literally two blocks over you have the Oregon courthouse. So the protesters are down there and both places there in the end the Police Department of Justice Center across the street from the courthouse so you have protesters at the police station you have protesters. At the Justice Center and have protests at the federal building. Now, this is what people understand. The federal police have already been here because they protect the federal building. So this is not anything new about federal police being here and they've always been here. You know what I mean is just that they brought in extra ones from different places to I guess enforce they're going they're going places that aren't the federal building you know what I'm. "Trolls? Did you like your liberal libertarian? But I'll give you an example about the imminence of the wall and everything. I read an article. It just flashed into the news and just flitted right away. Buried somewhere on one newspaper. I never saw it again that the trump administration won a case to stop a private enterprise. Who is going to spend forty million dollars building state of the art border wall on private property that they paid somebody to let them build this wall on and the trump administration stocked it? So I don't know if you can't control it or they didn't competition is a terrible thing for the government if you if you demonstrate that you can do something absolutely perfect on private land with private money at a very low price. That's going to be the standard. You simply cannot have a basis for comparison like that plus. I think a lot of the things. That trump does so often like there was this. He was supposedly withholding aid from Ukraine's Biden could be investigated for real corruption. I mean if trump didn't do that I would think he should be impeached. He should do that. Those guys should be probably jailed certainly investigate it but at the exact same time. Guatemala Honduras and El Salvador were co worst into signing a pact with the United States. Where they're very desperately needed humanitarian aid. I'm not a fan of foreign aid. But Ukraine doesn't need weapons to start world war three but these guys the hungry you know that humanitarian war. So these guys so these guys. They withheld their aid. Which really really hurt them until they agreed to this immigration asylum packed but what I also only saw a once in one article never saw it again. That part of that silent packed was to let us build camps. A you know. Prisons are females or whatever in their countries. So you couldn't get away with it here but now our tax dollars are paying probably a trump crony whatever. I don't know how somebody's crony to build. Basically a prison complex or housing complex in another in three other countries and we didn't even want it so this is the kind of look at this stuff and I'm like it's some I really I go down down down the rabbit hole and sometimes at the very bottom of the bottom most rabbit hole is just freaking graft thank you really thought you guys were Satan worshippers and you're just greedy spending more money. That's just wasting my time. You know what I mean like. I've dedicated my life to figure out what's really going on and it's like. Oh Yeah it's politics. They're stealing used to that happens all the time doing that. And that may be all there is to it but they they go through a very elaborate process to lie to us to get us to buy the policies that make that a lot easier for them but yeah that kind of stuff is what bothers me and eminent domain. I feel like the circumstances under which the government is conducting legitimate activity and has to demand that you relinquish your property to them would be next to none if they were actually operating under constitutional constraints especially the tenth amendment. And then if you have the tenth amendment where all basically all? The functions of Governors of the eighteen enumerated in the constitution are relegated to the states. I actually don't think that I'm not. I don't I don't read the Fourteenth Amendment like it's red which is that it makes all the stuff in the constitutional rights and stuff puts all of that onto the states. I actually don't think that I think your state can violate the bill of rights. I but I think that they are permitted to have their own laws. It's just like the First Amendment kind of says it pretty clearly. Congress shall not savage the religion and then they're like well. You can't have the ten commandments in City Hall. It's like you definitely can because that is not congress any so so when they so I think the staff the State Level. You can pretty much have any rules. You want about emanate eminent domain or anything else and I mean in the constitution. I prefer the articles of Confederation of the Constitution. And there's but there's a couple of things the constitution I think. They have that eminent domain clause. If I can't if I remember correctly and like post roads they can build post roads which I don't like I don't think they. They are allowed to demand access to your your house like you have to have public access to your land. I don't think you could have private land totally inaccessible that every bit of land around you is also private. I don't think that that's permitted so I don't like that stuff. Even though it is in the constitution but it would be extremely rare on a federal level if the constitution flawed though it is was adhered to. That's what that's what it came down to his. He was like well. I think it's okay for imminent domain. So they can build a border wall because securing our borders and keeping our country safe. But you know it would keep our country safe people that would help a lot. Stop impoverishing other countries. That's a good way to have a long way to have a state like Texas along the border where they have the castle doctrine. All you need is the castle doctrine. Right you don't need a wall you need a bunch of ranchers with guns and then you really. So I don't even think like the government solution is necessary and by the way the government has created the problem in its entirety because they violate. You're right to strictly control your own property. So when they make I mean I'm I would never as per my parents for example would never buy anything made in China to this day because it's slave labor I would not. I would not be a customer at a place that had segregated counters and by the way that was a law that wasn't private law. That's one thing I'm always constantly poisoned. Pointing out is that you know segregation. It wasn't what the people want. It is what the government said. We're so evil at the government has to step in but if when you go and tell people that they cannot control who goes onto their property that they that there are certain limitations to what they think in their like their town in a little town. They they're paranoid or not paranoid or whatever they want to do what they want if they're afraid of Mexicans and it's totally racist in the wrong and all that kind of stuff but they just don't want Mexicans on their property and that's why and you tell them they can't make that decision. What are they GONNA do? They have to say okay. If everybody in this country gets to come onto my property into my bar whatever then I wanNA make sure I control everybody who comes into this country. Say You just you could. Have you had true freedom of association and people want to be bunch racist assholes get a good for them? Get the fuck out here. You know so and you can make that choice yourself. And then they wouldn't get to come out and tell you. It's like adoption and gay marriages if they they made a federal law that you couldn't that this was like a constitutional right so then private adoption agencies can't discriminate on their own. I'm not sure if it really came down that way but let's use it as an example if you let them do what they want on the private level. Then you don't have to have this national battle on how everybody has to have the exact same law and laws either fan or you have to let the bakery choose and then the bakery doesn't have to lobby for law that affects everybody right. I mean it's not scripted story but but we have a moral imperative. We aren't if we were complete. Animals hateful jerks no system of government would work no. Yeah and then. That's what I pointed out in a past episode of Mine was about discrimination and I caught some flak afford to and that's I don't support discrimination itself a disposal I I I support everybody's personal choice to discriminate. If they want to absolute practice it was it was like you know if I The the situation I the the scenario I gave was like say you know me and my buddy go down to the store and the Duda owns stores a complete racist vile all. He has to serve my buddy so by law. My Buddy is person but if he was allowed to say no. We don't serve black people in here then okay. His racism is Abney Open. It's out in the daylight and I could be like okay. Well I'm not gonNA patron that place either. Because now you're discriminating against my friend and you know the surrounding people no business. No successful business wants to discriminate right. There's a there's a thing about women get making less than men right. That's what they say so now. Women are by far the vast majority of people who are hired. Like if you look at the stats. Women are getting more jobs now and I'm like okay. That's exactly what would happen if women were making less for the same work so jobless market fixes that the market fixes that and and science somebody call and say how can you say that if you had a job and the guy wanted to sleep with you to keep your job at. That's okay. I was like it's his job. Why you know what I mean. I'm not sleeping with somebody fifteen bucks an hour or whatever I just make my job and then I'll open a much nicer convenience store across the street where all the really good looking chicks work. Because they're sleeping with that troll so let you know what I mean. You don't get to sleep with me for fifteen bucks an hour as much much higher than that if I do that. If you let them discriminate that completely opens up market for competition. Absolutely and I like I call my show once and set a real real old guy because my shows out of Atlanta real old and he said we used to have our own stores. That was that was fine. You know but I I mean there is radical viewpoint like that. I'm not espousing but I've been exposed to it and I you know I mean that's what he said to something about that. You know that before. He was a product of He's like in his eighties now. Oh Yeah Yeah. He's eighty nine. Okay so yeah. He was talking about how how he went to university and everything before affirmative action even hit and the schools that he went to they were all black but they are just as good as the white schools because they took a lot of pride in their communities and had two parent households in. Yeah there was just a lot more pride in their communities because they weren't so depending on the welfare system so they had rely on each other a lot. You hack into the sixties and you look at some of the plots that were brewing. Gm undermine so poor black families had virtually non existence existent divorce rate and they and there was a certain dignity in rising above mystery. Man I don't I don't advocate mistreatment. However if you look at the history of the Drug War yes get. This was away and actually if you read the report from Iron Mountain which it depends if it's totally to be taken completely literally or what. But they talked about finding a euphemize form of slavery two warehouse to to to make sure that their hierarchical structure in place that they would be on the top the middle class tax slaves. Then you have the despise minority that keeps the middle class kind of behold into the upper class and when you switched that that oppression to a targeted drug culture on purpose and really put people in jail. Made it very unfair. They treated made them stop wanting to even participate in society because it there was inherent injustice. Then they themselves would get into the drug trade and they would appear to be bad so it's like a self. It flipped it from being oppressed to being bad. It was a setup I think and I think if you look at quotes from Nixon and Johnson you might own it's real well and there was a A journalist from and he died in the eighties. I think he he was killed. I think He said that there was a say a in operation to introduce crack into the O. Karrie Webb He. Yes I'd from two two shots to the head yes suicide. Who HAPPENS GARY UP DARK ALLIANCE? That's the book. Yeah it's absolutely true. That's conspiracy theory. That's absolutely true. Associate introduced to the black poor minorities. Yeah in Los Angeles especially freeway. Ricky Ross was the guy who was real smart and he ran ran it all through La. And.

"Half of the American history anybody that was part of that game will tell you that in the in our sport but I think I asked the question on my show which is more likely to get the home upset that are both home dog okay although bills for the Detroit Lions what he got for me and I in I believe. and even more so now after last night Tom Brady like the video from the NFL network saying that the bills are going to get the upset by the patriots and Tom Brady rides off of that type of stuff if somebody said something bad about him he's going to target them Tom Brady is that this guy who for ever has been building this legacy now it's like he's on a victory lap and it seems like it's never gonna and somehow they lose Grong Tom turned sixty and they've gotten even better their defense is unstoppable so I don't think the bills have any shot against the patriot that's actually one of my locks of the patriots minus seven and a half what I think The Lion King keep a close with the chief strictly because the like what map the church had built in the culture that has been being built in the side of the lions locker room last year there's a lot of conversation lot of comes to map the Tricia has lost the locker room Matt Tricia rally the troops map here's what broke his ankle doors Achilles whatever the hell was required this off season now is rolled around on a little scooter thing and that means seems very believe enough yeah many staff would been protected I think they have a chance to keep a close but to me I think the Buffalo Bills are the team that I love watching their fans perform before games are like watching them have a little bit of success I like the thought of **** getting tossed on the seals but for me I think the Buffalo Bills are about to turn into a little bit of a down fall it's going to start with Tom Brady in handsome Joanne Adams Pat McAfee giving us is picks including all the intangibles here on the rich Eisen show. the Pat McAfee show so you said this on the Pat McAfee show the Pat McAfee show two point oh or on get off I don't I can't I can't figure I can't follow it anymore at your your your branding years it's it's all for the bride I don't even know what the brand is anymore there's so many brokerage charges yeah the brand is kickers empires there are things that I'm going to the brand in the chat for the right my particular brand now that I have all these different avenues of content the live show is much different than the podcast podcast what longer conversation something that your incredible at something that I try to bring out the best in my guest in the live shows lot of cold water one of my and then when I get on get up I try to put make up on the on the mothership not where let's say something good hopefully drives in conversation so the different avenues to different domestic different things but they are all kind of just blend in together yeah I got to be careful on one work blue when you're not just don't forget where you're on you know what I mean like because you're working blue on your pod but definitely not on Westwood One right and then definitely not on ESPN. he got out the guy I've got like a fool I assume you guys learn this in like journalism school and stuff like that yeah whatever I sit down and I get myself I have to have a full like forty five seconds to a minute long conversation about where a man who's potentially less ninety one I'm on ESPN I just think of Mickey Mouse into what he was is everybody gets their. the worst thing and hopefully I just turn off the switch was working on a very my mom and then whatever I get on the podcast it's like all right all of them out get it all out now because every other time you're on a Mike there's a potential FCC find ready to take down your entire come along glide is here that you have that ability to go to of on one's case to infinity and beyond and then I understand where you are otherwise Pat because I have worked with many folks before many former athletes turned broadcasters like yourself who can't put two words together on ESPN I remember at ESPN I want to call his name out right now but his former NBA player in the meetings was great just laid up with all sorts of information and energy bought was cursing is hot off the entire time when he had to remove the curse words from his commentary couldn't put two words together and and and didn't pan out so I'm glad to know that you have that gear switch Pat. well I have a currently I don't know how long is your last. I'll go back when I was on barstool with bar stools yeah and I was able to just do whatever I wanted on yours no rules but the W. W. we they asked me if I wanted to come do some stuff with them and they become a super P. G. operation like I really think you can say ask there so for the two weeks leading up to the W. W. we show I said alright I'm have a swear jar for every single time I swear I'm a put a hundred Bucks in there Thomas where for the next two weeks the wind up donating it to the student Jason we we was muscular dystrophy except for those bedridden basically wanted we wanted to upgrade his room so we put the swear jar together two weeks it will not be a thirteen thousand dollars which also under percent sure well not at hand all for a good cause man year yeah you just got to be careful you can say that a word you just can't have a preposition before it that's all that's that's that's and you used what what were did you use last night during your broadcast even tweeted out Pat like incredulous or what what were did you drop during the broadcast last night was like at least three or four syllables I was very impressed by that. thank you you're very welcome you don't so what's region universe graduate but I was there and I knew yesterday with the triple option that may be wrong yes we are going to hammer home just that the quarterback has to make decisions quickly right so I knew I was going to have to say it people don't love my voice but they especially don't let my voice from saying the same thing over and over again right so I asked my smart friends that I have yeah I need other words for quickly in the first one they sent over was impetuous that's the one. yes and I got it in their early to be honest I was pretty excited about it but I've never been more nervous to deliver something because this navy folks are watching a game or really smart group we humans are trying to keep up with them but it makes you feel good I'm the arts my mom's proud the big moment for our family to get that word out I know you were a little bit too impetuous and dropping the word Pat see what I went right there see I'm just trying to go next level also on trying to do brother or did you did you hear I said that and nobody said anything I had to complement my cell. using your social media platforms that just blow up at Pat McAfee show on Twitter and Instagram you can follow patch show on Twitter at Pat McAfee on his own D. AZ and you got to spell that out since it's you know how many people say man I love you on daz and they say that to you Pat they say that to you warm now we are a little bit of a PR problem currently at a lot of people say days in a lot of people C. as in but if you do though and whatever many days old and I'm speaking vehicle works design can only grow from that but yeah I think right now a big part of this is awareness on how the hell to pronounce the global number one app his own which I'm very lucky to be a part of okay before I let you go Chris rock when you just came up with the parting question for Pat McAfee before he goes this is a good one I like it go for Chris yeah Pat was announced yesterday J. well and she Keira halftime act of the super ball any initial thoughts here your thoughts. don't be fooled by the rocks that I got I'm still I'm still Jenny from the block in the block that Jenny is from Jess is New York in the block that she is from is Columbia and Adam Schefter tweeted that principal Super Bowl in Miami we add a little Miami waiver thought he was gonna get ruined for that by you know the mob on the internet I thought he was going to get it but I absolutely love the thought of J. lo and Shakira their hips don't lie they're incredibly talented in it Mr Israel five people doesn't make an appearance I will boycott the second half of the Super Bowl but I am pumped up about it I always enjoy the Superbowl halftime content our performances because half the people are gonna hate it happy people are gonna love it and I'm just gonna sit back and watch the internet exploded regardless of what happens yeah I know the the the the blocks from which both these wonderfully talented performers are from not not Miami but that's fine that's fine we're good and as long as you just put on a good show on your right that would be a major upset of pit bull does not appear major upset huge. "Who were out there looking packages like that? I don't care if he was NICKY Barnes. Frank, Luke, and Frank Frank who was was air when guy NICKY Barnes was a heroin guy. Nobody back then that was selling cope, you know. Nobody was fucking packages. Like that. I'm sorry. Like, nobody's fucking packages up. Now. Like that. I don't think it was invented for financial gain. I I firmly believe freeway Ricky Ross when he says that the Nilo bland dome and the rest of those contracts, the Nicaraguan contras where in coups with the American government, including Oliver North where I mentioned earlier, and I firmly believe the CIA was pumping that shit into south central Los Angeles knowing that it would spread throughout the rest of the country. You had to spread it through to one of two places at that time. It was either going to be LA was going to be New York. And it took some time to get your New York. But in this is just another theory. I I think that aids was made. And I think we drop it in New York to see where it was to go and spread across the country. I think a lot of things just scientific experiments on people right seen it before with, you know, just give experiment. You know, like crack, you get to watch that for like generations beyond like, you mentioned earlier, you know, kids, if you're let's say, my parents didn't do crack, but she was a crack product choose crack adjacent. Right. Okay. So she being has me I have side effects from it. But the side effects that she has. And you get to watch that continuously just go further and further further, I'm paying specifically close attention to Flint. Yeah. That would first of all I don't think that that was just government corruption. I think that let's get to experience theories this list move on conspiracy theories because we we'll turn to a whole video. Cue the music. History themes. Mysteries. Hulu now. I'm not watching this you I can only watch it during hours. Burbach? Now, you fell asleep. Fire Burbach was scare you shoot them e. We thought we were gonna fall asleep rule. I we're not going to watch it this late. We're gonna fall asleep. That movie will have the entire time to catch it. Everybody's talking about it. But I I was anti watching it. I just because I was like as a lot of height is watching the game. Somebody else came through told us we should watch it when I was there. And so we watched it. I actually enjoyed it people saying they didn't like it. 'cause they'd like the end I wanted people to die or be gory. But I like to I like it was a little drawn out. It was longer than what it needed to be. It was very drawn. It could've been it. Could've been a forty five minutes when our short. Yeah. But it was two hours three minutes. It did drag on. I did appreciate the context of everything. Just for clarity is really not. Because I was under the impression it was like some kind of demonic movie or something about some natural spear is not it's nine, but it has undertow. Yeah. So I I don't like suspenseful movies where you sit on that, you know. It's not for me. But I'll check it out because it's the new wave. Check it out. But speaking of which we thought microwaves, right? Well, I mean, we were I just wanted to interject one other thing says talking about on the Burbach the new Jordan Peele trailer have. So you know, I haven't watched it yet. But I heard he made I got five on it sounds. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. I mean that beat those perfect fluid that deep dune. Oh, you don't dune. Don't do check out the trailer. So the Jordan Peele shut out. Yes. Something that straight out of a scary movie that I couldn't make up because not because I'm not creative enough to because it just is is the truth stranger fiction..
