"Yeah and then also with H. K. A. You can use a five book animation you'll get. A five percents off your purchase of. Any of the gloves are you want to buy? Alert forgetting that far. I forgot man. Almost two weeks three, hundred show. Fell as well. We're GONNA get Jimmy on here shimmy she jumps on and gets the Linka he will be joining us. So, like I said, we're GONNA be doing with our show now instead of recapping the last week. So you have. A. Fight Card. we're just GONNA. Give predictions for the net for the USC car that's coming up. And our boys over there had pride rules on Monday they'll be doing their recap for the event. So. You'll get predictions and you'll get the recap with them on Mondays. So You guys thought on last week's card though I mean. I think on the only one who liked it bro to be honest with you. Okay. It was. All right. Well, I mean honestly if. That's the kind of. Response at expect but you know the the fight the event started off with I think four submissions start then off and then it went. It went to anything around decision and it was a brutal fight And then it kicked off with the the main event and it was a the main card and it was good all the way through man Ricardo Lamas edited out at the end I mean it was it was a great car I. Liked it. I. Thought it was way better than the previous one with Frankie Edgar and. Wherever the hell. That one wasn't fun at all but this one was good. It was really good. You didn't watch. Adema Statman, I guess. I mean the fourth, the four fights on the preliminary you know awesome mission chokes he was either non Barbier, naked or a guillotine. So It's been awesome section of card like that where. In the PRELIMS, you get to see that. But I was actually looking forward to Tuesday. So everybody that's listening now like our producer Rudy said last week we had some difficulties but really cool to tap Jimmy back on as now we can talk about that UFC contract and he kind of and have been calling his shot. You know several times on this show last week be caught the bits and pieces that did come through Jimmy, just talked about the training preparation for Nate Smith. Credit, nate, Smith, the tough guys. Man 'cause. Jimmy. You know is around started. Did. What he did you know teleported to his back and Adamawa monetised demented disturb you know go over everything and it's really cool to to keep continue into a to Jimmy climb the ladder in climb the mountain, which is the USC now. While on his way so very, very happy that we time getting. That that performance was extremely impressive And the fact that he did that in front of Dana White. To my mind dude he just transitioned after transition after. I mean, I've only seen the highest level wrappers in the AFC. Do what he did taken away from anything away from the other fighter but. emmys on a whole other level man. That, not not because he's been on our show a couple of times not kissing his ass from being dead serious. Is Kid is something else bro. I can't wait to see what he doesn't UFC. Oh Yeah. He's going to be a piece that they're wake less. Do the monster. And then you'll see Netflix needs a they need flyweights to in the division is kind of we've been talking about. It got a new life hopefully, Jamie's gets that he's been calling for the Brandon. Roy. Val. Fight I don't think he's booked right now is pretty damn fresh hopefully that that plays out because a lot of things that he's spoken to existence on this show continues to happen so is Amir does He looks like a cartoon character Bro. It's like something out of a Dick Tracy cartoon when I hear, Jimmy the flick Jimmy, the brick flick. Looks like it, bro It fits him. It's bad ass man. He just needs to worry the suit and the night that those those hats from back in the day and just walk in his own. Brick Jimmy the bricks come in a we got Jimmy the brick money I ju- phones, guys, hydrophones. I'll say I'll tell you my favorite part about his fight was winning. Put The oh boy in the arm bar in the guy got out of it way bent that on to get out of it oh. Yeah. Dana White Space said at all then. Yeah. Say. The unanswered. DAYNUSS. That's what grab my favorite part I was like, okay. You're doing something there. You know what I mean. You're making you're making the man jump and You making the man jump and everything you you. Stole the show I mean, the placement on the consulate you could have been the main event we talked about that too. But way the card played out in its entirety. It was a great night fights on not everybody got the contract because that's just not the way it's been going but. Jimmy impressively, you know the being the only finish of the night. And harder ny that he wasn't going to get the contract especially as exciting and as as well as he performed it under the stage and I. I called it on this show I said Jimmy. Going to the UFC once you get to Dana White's contender series. Like what he sees and you get that contract Bro any fucking God. I was happy. Elliott me to man needs new. I. Mean. There was just no denying the I mean he's realistically he's like he's just the animal. Very few often you get to see people like. From the beginning. Of A or Midway quarter to midway through that journey but. It to see them be on a different level than everybody else then he was. Like Rudy said take another. Take another away from his own as it eases on a different level man. You. Work the work shows he's always talk about working hard with his coaches and being humble being real about everything and season the opportunity so. Step there with becoming the other champion like I said on this show, he's Kinda. Kinda spoke things into existence in. It's really cool to tell the story that is emmy debris like you said, Rudy A- a- character of the old days of like Shit. Dick Tracy movies. It's really cool a brick on the best nicknamed I think in in the game right now you. Like I said I had the pleasure of watching him last years throughout. Know. Ten years or so and watching them and just watching him evolve as a provider. You know I mean the dudes it's. Unreal. What I like about him is. Is You seen a growth In a and there's going to be more growth is still growing. As what I love about him is like so many guys amount or natural recast athletes or they're good with their hands or they're on the ground. But you know there's some miss. And Jimmy. got that in it to it and no, you don't know what that is. You just see you what I mean. There's there's some men with some minutes is going to be big banks in the USA..

"How'd you forty five minutes I mean I could honestly probably realistically do it if I doubted for shift on fucking time before the fight but I wouldn't WanNa do it Now that you think if you if you cut too much weight it affects your Chen. Yet but I'll say his own thinking affects your Chin per se but it does affects the fluids a genetic by right. You can drink so much your body without your body shutting down and drain so much. Especially, I'm not sure how he does if he does like Asana whatever or white, we start a dream brain fluid, right? What's your body starts draining? The fluids from it's from its organs, natural organs and whatnot it'll start take fluid from which would be bring food and when you see guys get not cut a lot of weight is because they drink by dehydrating themselves and rain flew take significantly longer to recuperate than water does so. That's not the same thing on talking about the actual show somebody your your ability Hick shots say you're yeah Yeh basically. So but I was just explaining the process and of why that is no right. Of course you're absolutely right. You're absolutely right and and I don't honestly I miss against too much weight for cody man Yeah I don't I don't. Know I don't know what he's thinking Dana wants to make it happen I mean the looking to make it happen look I mean cody no love in the UFC perspective is a lot more attractive champion than division Gara- I. Mean I don't even know that guy's extinguish no offense people don't dealers but he's not he doesn't seem like he's that marketable whereas. His name because it's so hard for me to say. Yeah I don't even right whereas quite no levels at a marketable guy. I, mean, he's good looking guys had a good story. He's been on TV guy. He's got a good. You know so. Yeah, let's let's make that fight. happened. Sure I mean no love at thirty two, thousand five is the champions. That did it now you have star. Vince you're your sound keeps going on. No I wasn't I didn't want to talk over you're talking. So also Ricardo Lamas said that he's he's Writing Ryan Hall. It got it got too late August Lama said that people are his ground game. Now I don't know if he's just saying this to throw off Ryan Hall but I don't think anybody could talk with Ryan Hall's Ground Game. I don't think. So either did I don't think so either. I wish you fought more if you're like he fights once every seven years, he's like a mythical creature that has comes out of the woods when like the planets lineup swoop somebody's ass retreats back in there you know. Josh Emmett Chad Mendez. This Guy Ricardo Lamas. He's been top the one hundred forty five dollars for a long time but this is back in. Wc You can talk from Brazil shows up. No coach doesn't speak any English. Had No one there with him and he jumped knees knocks out. Ricardo Lamas in the first round. Didn't cut no wait. Just all on his own so I mean the dream is still alive for UFC fighters. You know what I mean. And he went on and had a career he had he had a great career and that guy can break into into the UFC. Like that. Where I'm boxing is very difficult very difficult. Yeah you can't really you. You could knock somebody out in because it happened. It happened with multiple times with with dudes but it didn't happen the first few fight like a fresh off the boat. You know what I mean. It was like they were already thirty. Five in it takes is a lot harder. You can't really sneak in like you're not gonNA fight a big name dude if you haven't really done anything career. Yeah if you have if you're not twenty thirty five. Am You know what I'm saying? Yeah Yeah it's it's harder. It is doable. But it's a lot harder because it seems like you know boxing. You have to put the crew together make the name do all this stuff and then at the end to come check picks you and interesting successful. It's off to the races. You've but if not just dropping it someone else and there's enough guys fighting to get to the top. It's not a hundred percent like that. But for all purposes, it's him. I mean at this point, it's like all on him. We're not even talking about Sean Shelby. Mc meter manner wasn't even there for for the show. He was in China for the opening of the performance institute. My issue is so you can't you can't begrudge someone who's making a personal decision. His private company do whatever he wants. My issue is the reasoning given like if you say, look, I just didn't think it was a good fight. I was impressed with them. I don't think there's a future fine. But if we're gonna pin it all on the fact that the guy went for a takedown with ten seconds left in the fight. Ten seconds and earlier today. I was talking to Melendez for, for on the bad guy, Cheils not there. So so Gilbert stepped in and he was like, look when I fought the ego Sanchez I went for broken last ten seconds. When max hallway Ricardo lamas. He pointed to the middle of the cage and went for broke great examples, but let's be honest, not apples to apples in this particular case. Brennan is fighting for his. Rear? He is trying to get no one has ever gonna the contract off of a loss on Dana white contender series. So he's trying to get the W I and at this point ten seconds left he's not going to get the finished. He's not gonna knock them out. I mean, the fight was pretty much which pretty much wrapped up and so to put this on the guy and say, like this, this, this poor kid say, like because he went for a takedown with ten seconds. If you're not good enough to be in the U of C when let's be honest, like, what does USC cowboy even meeting any more, Greg hardy? See and punk. You're telling me, Bren, locking doesn't serve to be an a plus a marketable guy who has Tyson fury behind him. All these people. He's got a great story. I just don't like the reasoning jenner's what I'm saying. I don't like the way it was pin. I want killers. What does that mean? What does it mean? You want killers. Like what, what did Brennan, not do the Puna did? And so the whole thing just was a little hard to digest, because this is mixed martial arts. And if you're if you're going to tell people, you want finishes, then to say you wanna finish and if you don't get a Finnish, you're probably not gonna chose it, but they don't say that to the best of my knowledge, maybe I missed it. Well again this isn't the aerial Hawaii contenders. The bronze that are contender series the contender series. We know what they are looking for. We've seen this over the years that they want people that are going for finishes that are being ultra aggressive and trying to get that finish for all three or as often as possible. And I thought that again, one thing that's completely overlooked here is that how GIO was the best opponent that anybody had on the card in terms of, you know, how high-calibre he was no, this respect the others that competed on this show. But in terms of the runner up, both in all four of these fights, algae was by far, the most competitive, and we knew that going in, if you look at the odds going into the, the event, I think that was the closest line fight that or, or the fight between Robin Goldie, but it was in the same area code so that kind of thing and, and even goal, these case look very good..

"I like the fact that love chill. I love Leo. But the title should always be last and that's a title fight. That's a welterweight title, fight issue, always be last in my opinion, MSG, you gotta make the belt important. You got to prop it up there. It's, it's, it's a special thing. And so, I feel like yes, they may not be as big an although I would argue that the ROY stuff that happened after the fight elevated that fight a made a more interesting. I get that shale and the bigger names longtime. You have see guys whatever the Bill should always be most important, I feel strongly about that. Now there are special circumstances. You have C one ninety six was special. There've been UFC two two special. But for the most part, the belt in my opinion, always be last, and I like the fact that they they've done this in the past where the belt wasn't last, and I criticize them for it so I feel like I should give them props for it as well. You have to thirty eight is this weekend. I'm off to Chicago on Thursday. Let's take a look at that lineup. Can we take a look at that before we, we go to corporate Jake telling me two minutes are you serious the goal the absolute goal? It's headlined by Marlborough versus Henry, pseudo for the phantom. Wait. There's that song, there's that music for the bantamweight title. So the prelims start at six fifteen on ESPN. Plus, how about the eight o'clock p limbs and that fight right over there. Tatiana Suarez against Meena answer off, maybe a number one contender fight, although I feel like Michelle is to slide in there. I feel like the karate hottie. Gonna slide in there. But anyway, that's an important flight at. One hundred fifteen pounds tennis wars versus Nina. And of course, the main card exclusively on ESPN plus hudo versus Marla Marois for the vacant. You have see bantamweight title, could this mean the end of the flyweight exclusively on ESPN plus hudo versus Marla Marois for the vacant. You have see bantamweight title, could this mean the end of the flyweight division, could this mean that the fly with the vision is no more. If Henry, pseudo went is a win for Marla Mariah mean that the, the flyweight division remains I dunno slowly, but surely, they seem to be getting rid of all the flyweights. So I kind of feel like it's comple-, but there's the lineup. There's the. Main card. Valentina Shevchenko gets guy for the women's flyweight, title, twenty Ferguson versus Donald Roney in the people's main event, Jim your hair against Kyoto yen. What a great fight. That is at one thirty five and again tight bus overturning against a blog Galway Yvonne off. We didn't have the rest of the prelims up there. But also of note patron Mooney against algebra sterling and Alexa, Rosso against karleena Koehler cabbage. I also really liked the Calvin cater fight against one Ricardo lamas. And how about our friend friend of the program? Join Calderwood jerking, the curtain Caitlyn Kagan. What's up with that? I fight joint call one Kayla Kagan questionable at best. So that is

And so finally gets her to fight. Of course, he gets a last minute replacement as far as opponents go. He's fighting Casey, Kenny who's a former elephant champ. So it's never easy for Ray board. Hopefully, actually makes it to the fight. I'm looking forward to the debut of Sabina moslo who. Is a former elephant champ in her own right against marina Moreau's. In addition to the ones, you just mentioned. Yeah. Versus Johnson is an interesting one for all the reasons you mentioned, especially the fact that Ed is coming back after a serious injury to his head. Michael Johnson is is a dangerous dangerous striker. So that is that of the match up that I know that's the first one back. I would have wanted if I was on it but kudos to him for for bucking. "And I'm kind of going off your thing here. Question. But it is about leadership that that we have is was leaders and building those people under you. But it's also training those brand new guys. That's where you guys are come in and really helped us with that. I know we've talked a lot of times about how closely MMA and. How the military is trying to build that same warrior ethos brand new trainees, you know, for as much fun as we have. There is a moment where him and I look at each other. And we're just in awe because we remember just how dumb we were at that age the stuff that we were doing and these guys are putting together helicopters planes. We were idiots at that age. Right. Just responsible. I could rewind the clock. You know? Yeah. Amazing. It's been a very learning experience. Our father did serve in the army, and he talked about it a lot. But especially in the city, the city is you've seen it. It's a little bit of a hustle town. You know what I mean? And it's an entertainment city a lot of money flows through. So, unfortunately, a lot of people get caught up in the quick dollar or the quick rise to whatever it is. They're seeking. And what I've noticed is some may get there. But a lot won't. But you're not gonna have in greened into you with what the military does. And that's. Dedication, hard work. You know, what I mean, organizational skills a chain of command. And when I when we're there, and we are talking to the young men and women I just look at them. And and I I wish I could communicate with every single one of them a good five to ten minutes and just reinforced just how lucky they are for the opportunity that they have you know, and the skills that they're going to have because when they come out they're going to be so far ahead of the game. From a lot of other the others that are trying to. Cheat life a little bit. And not not enjoy. It's a process. You know what I mean? It's a process to to to do whatever it is you wanna do whether career in any in any field and also from southern California. So we're near the Hollywood areas. The same thing lobby were just like what do you wear? You know, what are you drive? Who do you know what I mean? And it can be a big turnoff as well. And I've noticed in the military doesn't matter and it's it's all about working hard, which he goals here. You know, an army we talk about our seven army values. But to me, the one of the probably the most support is to exhibit the selfless service, and that selfless service really speaks to what you're talking about there. And when those kids come in those men and women come in. And we we work with him, and some wonderful people just do what they do to. To bring them through the forage and bring them into as a or make them into a warrior, and it is at selfless service is not about the getting the recognition. I will tell you though, it means a lot when you get that that comment from folks that you get now thank you for your service and try to always find it. It's a privilege. It's an honor. By the way, we had a fighter on from Australia. Apparently, he was envious of our country in that regard. Cool call our country's going through a lot. And I definitely don't want to get into that right now. But he he wasn't admiration for how much us Americans. Do appreciate the service of all the men women across all the branches right Damian Brown. Yeah. Yes. Said that he goes in Australia. He goes, we don't get that as much. It's almost like you almost don't wanna wear uniform. And I was part of Marican moment for us. That's great. Yeah. All right. Hang tight with us. Real quick. Colonel chill right there. We definitely wanna keep talking to you. But right now goes has lined up yet another superstar fighter, right? And we're talking food. You got involve Ricardo lamas. Hell. Yeah. On hold.
